Повний текст джерелаThe present Work of Professional Sufficiency was carried out with the purpose of evaluating the financial and tributary impact of the mermas and demerits in the companies of the manufacturing sector based on the printing activities in the East Zone and Lima, 2017. The investigation is composed of five chapters. In the first chapter, we find the theoretical framework, in which the concepts of the variables are defined. In the second, the research plan is presented, in which the problem is identified, the hypothesis proposed and the objectives set. In the third chapter, the methodology to be used is described, which is a mixed approach consisting of qualitative and quantitative research methods. In the fourth chapter, the research instruments used and the practical cases are developed. In the case of instruments, they are for qualitative research, in-depth interviews and for quantitative research, the survey. Finally, in the fifth chapter, the results of the instruments and practical cases used are analyzed. In addition, there are the conclusions and recommendations on the study carried out. The main conclusion is that the result of qualitative and quantitative research affirms our hypothesis, which means that the losses and losses have a positive impact on the financial and tax situation in companies in the manufacturing sector (printing activities) in the East Zone and Lima, 2017.

Jansen, Lauren. "The Academic Impact of Extracurricular Activities on Middle School Students." Thesis, Lindenwood University, 2017. http://pqdtopen.proquest.com/#viewpdf?dispub=10249513.
Повний текст джерелаThis research study examined the academic impact of extracurricular activities on middle school students. This study investigated a possible relationship between the amount of hours that students spent participating in extracurricular activities and their academic achievement, as well as the amount of hours that students spent participating in in-school extracurricular activities and their academic achievement. This study used a combination of quantitative and qualitative data to reach its results. The quantitative data ultimately did not show a statistically significant correlation between the hours that students spent in extracurricular activities in general or in in-school activities and academic achievement. However, there was an upward trend in the data for hours that students spent in extracurricular activities in general and their academic achievement. The qualitative component drew upon the prior research on traits that contribute to the success of middle school students academically, and found a pattern consistent with the evidence of these traits through the results of a survey and interviews. Therefore, the qualitative component showed that through connecting these answers to and relying on the prior research, middle school students most likely benefitted academically from being involved in extracurricular activities, especially in-school activities that met these needs. The researcher also reflected on the study and made several recommendations for future research on the topic, ranging from survey and sampling augmentations to suggestions of sub-topics worthy of further exploration.

The purpose of this MBA Project was to investigate and provide a comprehensive overview regarding the current issues regarding Tactical Aircraft Integration within the Department of the Navy. This project was conducted with the sponsorship and assistance of the Comptroller, Commander Naval Air Forces Pacific. The goal of this project was to identify issues and provide an analysis of the ongoing efforts between the Navy and Marine Corps. Four criteria were set aside for deliverables: 1) Produce key documentation, most notably the Memorandum of Understanding and the Memorandum of Agreement; 2) Produce any milestones or timetables required for integration; 3) Discuss issues regarding funding and resource allocation as applied to the integration process; 4) Provide information on requirements for integrating operational and supporting activities. This project delineates a brief history of the operational requirements of the F/A-18 and what necessitated changes within the TACAIR community. The topics covered will explain how the plan was developed based on key assumptions and challenges, the implementation of the transformational plan to date, current funding issues, an analysis with recommendations of the transformational process, and an overview of the cultural change that will inevitably come with the transformation.

Повний текст джерелаThe purpose of this study is to assist planners and scientists in assessing the economic implications of the USAID-funded Integrated Pest Management-Collaborative Research Support Program (IPM CRSP) research activities. The study presents a framework and a set of procedures for documenting, evaluating and communicating aggregate economic impacts of IPM technologies within targeted areas and across agro-ecological regions.
Performing an economic impact assessment involves consideration of many factors, from the adoption patterns of IPM technologies to the level of benefits and costs producers and consumers can reap from their adoption. Adopting the framework and procedures outlined in this study will help ensure that economic benefits of IPM CRSP activities are consistently and comprehensively evaluated and documented. The assessment process involves identifying and defining alternative pest management strategies, data and information collection, and analytical procedures.
Two case studies are carried out to demonstrate the functionality and practical nature of the framework. Partial budgeting and ex-ante economic surplus analysis are employed to estimate the aggregate benefits of IPM CRSP strategies in Bangladesh and Uganda. In Bangladesh, an altered schedule of hand weeding in cabbage production and Neem leaf powder as an insecticide for eggplants were selected for assessment. In Uganda, the maize variety Longe-1 and seed dressing with Endosulfan for management of bean fly and root rot on beans, are evaluated. Also, a Geographic Information System (GIS) is used to project the transferability of IPM CRSP strategies beyond the primary sites. Data on production, consumption, prices, price elasticities for demand and supply, and experiment costs are gathered and refined to derive aggregate benefits for each country. Expert questionnaires were developed to determine adoption rates, and to elicit information about yield and cost changes due to the adoption of these technologies. Agro-ecological and socio-economic data were collected to facilitate the spatial framework and examine adoption rate patterns. The GIS analysis gives insight into the spatial dimension of economic analysis and complements the effort of the IPM CRSP to globalize its activities.
The research findings show that the IPM practices investigated gave a substantial amount of benefits discounted over thirty years to both consumers and producers. This study has shown that IPM CRSP-induced pest management practices in Bangladesh and Uganda are viable and more profitable production practices than existing farmer practices. Efforts to promote the adoption of these technologies will likely result in more efficient production and greater economic rewards for the farmers, consumers, and in turn for the country as a whole. Finally, the study presents recommendations for further research relating to gender and cross-border trade issues to strengthen the functionality of the framework.

Повний текст джерелаWorkers' right to strike is embedded in the South African Constitution and this right generally reflects a sign of fairness. Strike activities form a vital part of collective bargaining and the supremacy liaison between employers and employees would be severely ruined if workers are not entitled the right to strike. Ever since the right to strike was documented in the South African Constitution, strike actions have been a collective occurrence in the country. Reasons for strikes in South Africa are multi-layered and their effects are harmfully disastrous. Workers are on strikes due to various reasons such as low pay, inequality, and unemployment as a result of union conflicts and the inequitable degree of labour relations. However, strikes would lead to various problems in the economy, such as reduced production, scaring off investors, labour replaced by capital, etc. This study first defines the various key concepts relating to industrial action, before reviewing the theories on strikes as well as the results of past local and empirical studies. The study moves on to use the Department of Labour's 2003-2014 Industrial Action Report data to provide descriptive statistics on strike activities in 1999-2014 by broad industry categories (examining the number of strikes, work hours lost, work days lost, time-loss ratios, principle causes of strikes, most active trade unions involved in strikes), before using a static approach to estimate the value of total production foregone as well as the value foregone as a proportion of gross value added (GVA) by industry in each year as a result of strikes. Finally, the older 1970-1998 strikes data from the International Labour Organization (ILO) is ‘merged’ with the abovementioned 1999-2014 data, to examine the econometric relationship between strikes and business cycles, and it is found that strikes are procyclical.

Повний текст джерелаFrom the Stone Age, each nation or group of people has had a distrust of those different from themselves. This is evidenced in various ways, for example, social welfare given to local residents only, scornful names given to foreigners and other ethnic groups and rituals designed to keep themselves separate from others. These incidents of diversity resulted into an unplanned and emergent set of norms, values and beliefs that exert enormous influence on the way in which an organisation operates, how organisational structure is developed, the integration and adaptation of internal and external relationships, as well as the orientation of the underlying values of the organisation. The main aim of changing culture is to improve organisational performance. To achieve this aim, it requires an understanding of the underlying assumptions and values that determine what is important in an organisation as well as assessment of the impact of culture on operational efficiency. The impact of organisational culture is identified through the negative and positive outcomes of mining activities, and is illustrated by employee satisfaction, job commitment, organisational loyalty, turnover, absenteeism and productivity. The aim of this research study was to identify the characteristics of organisational culture and evaluate the impact of organisational culture on gold mining activities in the Free State. The methodology used in this study comprises of empirical as well as a literature study. Questionnaires and interviews were used to gather information for the empirical study. The empirical study revealed that firstly, organisational culture is created partially by leaders, and that one of the most critical functions of leadership is the creation and the management of culture. Lastly, organisational culture emerges when employees think, believe and act according to the pressures and priorities of their environment. Unfortunately, employees do not set aside their cultural values and lifestyle preferences when they come to work. It is the responsibility of the management to create an environment that is conducive to a healthy working environment. This study established that the necessity to control the workforce productivity need not be accompanied by ruthless or aggressive exploitation of cultural management, but by reliance on employees’ capability to exercise judgement to cope effectively with environmental uncertainty. Rules, norms and strategies developed cannot “fit” every circumstance but encourage conformity rather than creativity, and compliance rather than commitment.
Xingwana, L. "The impact of organisational culture on gold mining activities in the Free State." Interim : Interdisciplinary Journal, Vol 6, Issue 2: Central University of Technology Free State Bloemfontein, 2007. http://hdl.handle.net/11462/411.
Повний текст джерелаThe political and social transformation process in South Africa is forcing organisations to avoid the sensitive, unpleasant and potentially volatile behaviour at workplace that can arise when groups or individuals who differ work together or come into close contact with each other. Therefore, management developed a corporate culture which creates an environment that is conducive to performance improvement, shapes the way people act and interact, as a result, this culture influences how things get done. The corporate culture encompasses the organisation's goals, business ethics and dominant ideologies. Based on the results of this study, these cultural changes ought to be driven by the fact that employees respond to the way in which the organisation treats them. The research aims to investigate the impact of organisational culture on the gold mining activities. The impact of organisational culture is demonstrated through a sense of identity and unity of purpose by the members of the organisation, commitment of employees to their work and existence of strategies and programmes which provide guidance on what is expected. The premise is that organisational culture determines socialisation, power relationship, policies and procedures, reward systems, communication systems and ideology, all of which have a significant impact on the day to day experiences of all employees.

This study was done by planning and actual implementation of a series of horticultural activitites to a group of students with special needs, to understand the teacher-student interactions, and the impact of these horticultural activities upon students’ experientical learning experience. This study was done with a qualitative study in minds, where transcripts from classroom teaching records, notes taken by this researcher, lesson plans, and teacher’s reflection journals were used to achieve the designated objectives. The target subjects were seven students receiving special education at a certain elementary school in Taipei County. Thirty six classes were conducted over eighteen weeks, two sessions per week. Because students with oral abilities were required for this research, the samples were focused on the three students who could speak and the other students made a lesser contribution. There were nine teaching activities in the research which were: A. Preparation period: dividing students into groups, introduction, set rules, practice the use of gardening tools. B. Cooperation stage: preparing school land. C. Campus tour: get to know the plants around on campus. D. Plants search and indetification stage: identifing the special features of the individual plants. E. Propagation stage: cutting propagation of Ruellia Brittoniana. F. Transplanting plants stage: Setcreasea Pallida. G. Plant growing period. H.Cultivate plants. I. Reaping the harvest stage: harvest and sharing. The research found that school horticultural activities initiated the special students’ learning in the natural science field, providing them opportunities to learn by doing and the teacher had a chance to reflect on his own teaching methods. It was also advised that future researchers might be interested in the investigation of this field further to get backup for consultation, asking for parents’ assistance, or to use school unused facilities, giving special students adequate chances to practice and make good use of questioning and probing skills to get to know more about special students’ learning.
