Анотація:

Objective: United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) suggested that older people having the capacity to use Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is a vital indicator of active aging. This study aimed to explore the scope and the worries of Internet risks for elderly people. Method: The Delphi method and survey questionnaires were used in this study. Using the Delphi method, 15 experts were invited to write in three rounds of correspondence and reach an agreement on the scope of Internet risks for the elderly. A total of 1,021 respondents aged over 55 completed questionnaires. Results: The results revealed: (1) Internet risks for the elderly included four dimensions: financial, performance, psychosocial, and physical. (2) The elderly tend to worry about Internet risks, and are most worried about financial risks, followed by physical risks. (3) The seniors with older age, low levels of education, less than one year of Internet experience, and no online shopping experience are the most fearful of Internet risks. Conclusion: We suggest that Internet risk coping strategies is helpful for reducing internet fear, and should be incorporated into the computer curriculum for the old internet beginner, so that they can enjoy the Internet and aging actively.

Recently, in connection with the Covid-19 pandemic, the importance of technology has become better understood in society. This has manifested itself in the banking sector as well as in other fields. The banking sector is one of sectors that uses information and communication technologies intensely. The purpose of this research is to estimate the factors influencing the use of internet banking and the level of its acceptance by society. As a consequence of the study, the most important factors affecting the use and adoption of internet banking have been determined to be ease of use, convenience and effectiveness. The users of internet banking services have preferred to use it due to saving the time, available for 24 hours, rapid and convenient. But the reasons people who do not choose internet banking are that they do not find it safe and not to believe, they consider more confident to do banking application at the bank department. In this regard the research define that advantages and threats of internet on the banking sector. Key words: internet banking, online banking, internet technologies, consumer perception İnternet bankçılığının cəmiyyətdə rolunun araşdırılması Xülasə Son dövrlərdə Covid-19 pandemiyası ilə əlaqədar olaraq texnologiyanın əhəmiyyəti cəmiyyət arasında daha yaxşı dərk olunmağa başladı. Bu da özünü digər sahələrdə də olduğu kimi bank sektorunda da büruzə verdi. Bank sektoru informasiya-kommunikasiya texnologiyalarından intensiv istifadə edən sektorlardan biridir. Bu tədqiqatın məqsədi internet bankçılığından istifadəyə təsir edən amilləri və onun cəmiyyət tərəfindən qəbul olunma səviyyəsini öyrənməkdir. Tədqiqat nəticəsində internet bankçılığından istifadə və mənimsənilməsinə təsir edən ən mühüm amillərin istifadənin asanlığı, rahatlığı və effektivliyi olduğu müəyyən edilmişdir. İnternet bankçılıq xidmətlərindən istifadə edənlər vaxta qənaət, 24 saat əlçatan, sürətli və rahat olması səbəbindən onu istifadə etməyə üstünlük verirlər. İnternet bankçılığını seçməyən insanların səbəbləri isə onu təhlükəsiz hesab etməmələri və inanmamaları, bank şöbəsinə müraciət etməyi daha inamlı hesab etmələridir. Анотація:

Basing on the examination of sufficient amount of scientific literature, the article attempts to define the concept and highlight the characteristics of the information society. It is proved that the information society is a qualitatively new historical stage of civilizational development. It is argued that the information society is based on the global spread of information and communication technologies, the fundamental processes of mass generation, processing, transmission, and use of information. It is established that the information environment contributes to a significant increase in the impact of information and knowledge on all areas of human activity. The substantiation of the paradigm of communication in the information society and its implementation with the help of the newest information technologies of the Internet is given. The peculiarities of the functioning of Internet communication in the information society are studied. It is substantiated that such communication has specific features, provides some training, establishes unique implementation forms, and actualizes the dialogic nature of a society.

Анотація:

Freelancing is largely based on finding a job through the Internet and by means of the Internet, which allows you to open up new opportunities for the Russian economy and make structural changes to it. But the attitude of Russian society to the new form of employment is still poorly understood. At the moment in Russia, freelancing is at the stage of development and its further development depends on the attitude of the society towards this type of employment. Today, Russian society is undergoing especially important changes in connection with the pandemic, which turned out to be an unexpected test for every person, as well as for the whole society. The self-isolation regime has strongly affected the economic spheres of life, confronted companies with remote work, and people with an understanding of all the positive and negative aspects of working outside the office. The hypotheses put forward have been partially confirmed. In modern Russian society, the attitude towards the freelancers is rather neutral, but the share of positive assessments is also high. A small proportion of respondents expressed a negative attitude towards the freelancers, which indicates an overall good attitude towards freelancing. Therefore, the main goal of this article is to identify the attitude towards freelancing in modern Russian society.

Internet celebrities, as a group of stars spawned by the market economy and The Internet, reveal both the state of Internet culture and the transformation of mass media in China. The bodies and pictures of these ‘celebs’, while unique, also take on a cultural symbolism. The 4.0 Revolution is the carrier of social practices and kinds of interaction in which the social media play a very special role. In this paper we will focus on the intersections and ruptures between the bodyindividual, body-subjective and body-social (Scribano, 2007) of Chinese Internet celebrities and the articulations and links between body-image and their body-in-movement. With the introduction ofChinese social media platforms such as WeChat (微信), Sina Weibo (新浪微博), Douyin, we try to trace links between the sociability, experiences and social sensibilities of the Internet celebrities and their influence on Society 4.0. This paper: (a) looks at the Chinese social media as a virtual platform for the Internet celebrities; (b) delves into the images and practices of the Internet celebrities; (c) highlights the link between body, sensation and perception regarding social celebrities; (d) shows the kinds of sociability and social sensibilities exhibited by celebrities in China’s Society 4.0. home foreclosure) in several Catalan municipalities. It was conducted by participatory observation, focus groups and in-depth interviews with activists.

Анотація:

For several years, observable are processes of simplifying IT systems and collectivization of network services. An example is the simplification of Linux operating system, which in first versions from clumsy, based on the command line and virtually devoid of the graphical elements evolved towards an open and user friendly operating system. The same applies to the posting of data on the Internet – work in cloud computing, building web pages. In addition, it is difficult not to agree with the fact that information is now one of the key consumer goods, and dynamic scientific and technological development in the twenty-first century civilization fosters referred to as a knowledge society. These considerations seem to indicate an increase simplification of communication systems and collective web services with the idea of the knowledge society. Undoubtedly, this issue deserves deeper consideration, and this article is a contribution to reflect on the issue of dissemination and simplify the network in the perspective of the knowledge society.

Анотація:

Peace building in the modern era is different from those in the World War era. While the latter focused more on the state-to-state policy, the former involves the participation of the society. Part of the explanation is the fast growing development of information and technology, particularly the development of internet, which has helped providing more spaces for civil society to involve and to influence peace building process in any humanitarian activities. This space, as manifested in various social media such as Facebook and Twitter, has become a new way for the so-called netizen (internet citizen) to access information on the existing conflicts, advocate or campaign for the management and settlement of the conflicts, gather financial supports for the peace building process, and develop confidence building among people of the conflicting parties. However, at the same time this space may jeopardize the peace building process as people has no restriction in expressing their opinion online which could deteriorate the relations among people from both sides. This paper, therefore, aims to examine the role of this online activism to peace building process in various cases.
