The objectives of this study were to determine the differences in social studies learning outcomes taught by the TPS model and the TPS model assisted by video media for students to determine the difference in social studies learning outcomes of students who have high interpersonal intelligence with students who have low interpersonal intelligence in students. And then this is to determine the interaction between learning models and interpersonal intelligence in influencing student learning outcomes in social studies subjects for students. The population in this study were all class VII students of SMP Negeri 4 Percut Sei Tuan T.A 2020/2021, totaling 126 students divided into four classes, namely, class VIIa, VIIb, VIIc and VIId. The experimental class was given learning treatment with the Think-Pair-Share (TPS) learning model and the control class was given the Think-Pair-Share (TPS) learning model assisted by video learning media. The instruments used consisted of: social studies learning outcomes test. Data analysis was performed using two-way ANOVA. From the description above it can be concluded that: There is a significant difference in social studies learning outcomes that are taught using the TPS model and the TPS model assisted by video media for the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 4 Percut Sei Tuan. There is a significant difference in social studies learning outcomes of students who have high interpersonal intelligence and students with low interpersonal intelligence in students who are taught using the TPS model assisted by video media. There is an interaction between the learning model and interpersonal intelligence in influencing student learning outcomes in social studies subjects in class VII students of SMP Negeri 4 Percut Sei Tuan.

Este trabalho consiste em uma tradução do artigo “On the Animals which are most nearly intermediate between Birds and the Reptiles”, de autoria de Thomas Huxley (1825-1895), publicado no Annals and Magazine of Natural History, em fevereiro de 1868. Nesse artigo, Thomas Henry Huxley (1825-1895) lidou com a hipótese da existência de uma relação de parentesco entre répteis e aves após ter observado diversas similaridades entre dois fósseis pertencentes a esses grupos: Compsognathus e Archeopteryx. Apesar das inúmeras evidências apontadas por Huxley, e outros pesquisadores, a hipótese de que aves descendiam de dinossauros perdeu força na década de 1920. Só seria retomada na década de 1970, e desde então é consenso na comunidade científica.

<p>This study aims to determine the magnitude of the relationship of interest<br />in learning and intellectual intelligence to the learning outcomes of Islamic<br />Education in elementary school students in Bandar Setia Village, Percut<br />Sei Tuan District. The sample in this study amounted to 34 people taken<br />from 10% of the total student population of 333 people. This study uses<br />data collection tools in the form of questionnaires. The questionnaire is<br />compiled based on variable indicators and then conducted a trial to the<br />respondents who entered the sample in this study. The data analysis<br />process was carried out in three stages: (1) describing the data of the<br />research variables, (2) testing the analytical requirements, (3) testing the<br />hypothesis to determine the relationship between the variables of the<br />study using correlation analysis techniques. Conclusions based on data<br />analysis and testing process are described as follows: (1) learning interest<br />has a positive and significant relationship with learning outcomes. (2).<br />intellectual intelligence has a positive and significant relationship with<br />learning outcomes. and (3). learning interest and intellectual intelligence<br />together have a positive and significant relationship. On the basis of the<br />results of these studies it can be stated that the interest in learning and<br />intellectual intelligence has a positive and significant effect on learning<br />outcomes both individually and together.</p>

Contexte : L’existence du « Lyme chronique » est l’objet de controverses scientifiques depuis plus de 10 ans. Dans le cas du Lyme chronique, la maladie du malade-illness diffère de la maladie du médecin-disease. Un modèle explicatif sous-tend illness et disease. Il regroupe « l’étiologie, le moment et le mode d’apparition des symptômes, la physiopathologie, l’évolution du trouble et le traitement ». Les différences de modèles explicatifs compliquent les soins. Objectif : Recueillir les modèles explicatifs de patients pensant souffrir de maladie de Lyme chronique et des « Lyme doctors » afin de faciliter la mise en place de réseaux sémantiques support du soin. Méthode : Étude qualitative par entretiens semi-dirigés auprès de patients présentant des symptômes persistants après une borréliose de Lyme avec un guide d’entretien fondé sur la médecine narrative. Les entretiens ouverts pour les « Lymes doctors » ont recherché les interactions entre leurs modèles explicatifs et ceux des patients. Résultats : Borrelia burgdorferi (Bb) est perçue comme une bactérie intelligente, véritable poison, capable de se cacher et de s’enkyster. Le phénomène d’attribution exogène est autonome et souvent en conflit avec les médecins. Des études de faible niveau de preuve ont recherché la persistance de Bb après un traitement antibiotique conforme aux recommandations. La persistance de traces de la bactérie n’est pas le témoin de l’infection. Conclusion : Établir des ponts entre les modèles explicatifs des patients et des médecins demande de réfuter les théories sans fondement scientifique et de reconnaître la souffrance.

Community service activities generally aim to develop character in developing the potential of students who have intelligence, personality and noble character. Through this activity to assist teachers in 104202 Bandar Setia Elementary School, Percut Sei District, Deli Serdang District in carrying out character-based authentic assessments. The model applied in the implementation of Community Service is carried out in several stages, namely: First, the stage of preparation with activities, (a) conducting socialization to teachers; (b) carrying out observations and interviews; (c) determining the schedule of activities; and (d) preparing facilities and infrastructure. Second, the implementation phase through, (a) Focus Group Discussion (FGD); (b) training and education for the preparation of authentic assessment instruments; and (c) assisting in the application of character-based authentic assessments. Third, the evaluation and reflection phase is an assessment of attitudes, skills and knowledge. Through this activity the teacher has character-based authentic assessment guidelines and the formation of the Teacher Working Group (KKG)

RésuméGrégoire de Nazianze, le plus affirmatif des Cappadociens quant à la divinisation de l’homme dès cette vie, semble logiquement minorer le fossé entre la vision de Dieu « comme en un miroir » ici-bas et le « face à face » promis (1 Co 13,12). Cet article examine ce fait par l’analyse des métaphores optiques utilisées par Grégoire pour les relations entre la « Lumière » ou l’Intellect divin et son « image », l’homme, aux différentes étapes de l’économie du salut. Le Nazianzène situe la relation de l’individu à Dieu, dynamique et assimilative, entre la « Lumière »/Intelligence divine et son reflet émané en nous. Leur union en Christ rétablit à travers l’illumination baptismale la translucidité adamique perdue, rouvrant à l’individu le passage de la vision « en miroir » d’ici-bas de sa source, l’essence divine, à l’illumination plénière du « face à face » divinisateur. L’imagerie nazianzène du « dialogue » contemplatif entre lenousou « lumière » humain(e) et Dieu, quelle que soit l’insistance sur la transcendance du second à l’égard du visible et sur les attaches du premier au sensible, implique réellement pour lenouscontemplatif une communication avec, et une assimilation à la source dont il émana. L’intellect-miroir du contemplatif, à condition d’un « nettoyage » portant à la perfection noétique les images reflétant Dieu, peut déjà en former un aperçu grâce à la lumière de l’Esprit, en recevoir les « énergies », et servir de médiateur sacerdotal entre la Lumière et les autres individus.

C-ITS (Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems) est une nouvelle technologie qui contribue à la réduction des accidents de la circulation et à l'amélioration de la sécurité routière. VANET ( V ehicular A d hoc Networks) sont un système STI basé sur la communication inter-véhicules par la transmission de messages de sécurité de base (BSM), qui sont vulnérables à une variété de comportements inappropriés. Pour résoudre ce défi, nous avons développé dans cet article un système de détection de mauvais comportement (MDS) basé sur une approche d'apprentissage automatisé pour identifier et catégoriser les messages de mauvais comportement délivrés par un véhicule sur les VANET à l'aide de la base de données d'extension VeReMi. Cette étude examine différents types de classification : dans la classification binaire, toutes sortes d'inconduites ont été regroupées en une seule catégorie « inconduite » ; cependant, dans la classification multi-classes pour trois classes, la mauvaise conduite a été divisée en deux classes : les attaques et les fautes. Le classificateur a des problèmes substantiels lors de l'apprentissage à partir de données déséquilibrées wLorsque vous travaillez avec des problèmes multi-classes, cela devient considérablement plus complexe. Les relations entre les catégories ne sont plus bien définies et il est facile de perdre en efficacité dans une classe tout en s'améliorant dans une autre. En conséquence, les résultats ne sont pas cohérents dans l'approche d'apprentissage classique pour la classification multi-classes lors de la classification des comportements répréhensibles dans différents types de classes de comportements répréhensibles. Pour résoudre ce problème, nous avons développé une approche nouvelle et puissante appelée "Approche d'apprentissage guidé pour la classification multi-classes" pour réduire le nombre de classes en combinant des comportements inappropriés comparables en un seul. Selon les résultats, le classificateur Random Forest surpasse les autres classificateurs.

Résumé La Prisonnière, comme on sait, marque le début du retour sur soi de la Recherche. Les thèmes et les motifs principaux de Du Côté dé chez Swann s'y retrouvent mais y suivent une nouvelle ligne mélodique. C'est qu'en effet, parallèlement à la logique amoureuse qui a gouverné le récit jusqu'alors, commence à se faire sentir une logique d'une autre sorte, plus identitaire, faite d'intégrations et de rejets, d'identifications et d'exclusions, d'où émerge progressivement une notion nouvelle, l'artiste comme «citoyen d'une patrie» qu'il lui appartient de découvrir. Or, il me semble qu'Albertine est peut-être la première à faire les frais de cette nouvelle logique. C'est ce que nous fait comprendre entre autres le passage sur les « cris de Paris ». S'appuyant sur la très ancienne tradition iconographique et littéraire des vieux métiers, Proust là transforme à sa manière, en l'anoblissant. Grâce à la magie d'un matin de printemps interpolé dans l'hiver, les « cris de Paris » deviennent ces substrats grâce auquels des formes perdues (comme le plain-chant) ou nobles (comme l'opéra) retrouvent vie et jeunesse. Ce sera aussi l'occasion pour le texte de montrer combien, malgré son intelligence et sa bonne volonté, Albertine reste en dehors du sortilège, incapable de transcender l'immédiateté du réel et de la sensation. Son discours pastiche sur les glacés et les sorbets s'apparente ainsi à un « anti-Martinville » qui nous fait pressentir dans la « prisonnière » le sort que la suite de la Recherche réservera 'à la «fugitive ».

Les personnages non joueurs (PNJ) sont un sous-type d'agents virtuels qui peuplent les jeux vidéo. La façon dont ils sont perçus par les joueurs est au cœur de l'expérience de jeu. En particulier, l'intelligence et la crédibilité perçues des PNJ contribuent fortement à créer une expérience engageante et immersive. Ces deux aspects sont influencés par les attentes des joueurs lors de leur interaction avec les PNJ. Cependant, les connaissances sur la manière dont les joueurs évaluent les PNJ sont insuffisantes, ce qui pourrait expliquer l'écart entre les attentes des joueurs et leur évaluation réelle de la conception des PNJ. L'objectif de cette thèse est de faire progresser les connaissances sur l'évaluation des PNJ par les joueurs en fonction des facteurs de conception et des attentes des joueurs. Notre hypothèse est que l'amélioration de la cohérence entre la conception des PNJ et les attentes des joueurs conduirait à une amélioration de l'intelligence perçue et de la crédibilité. Trois études ont été menées pour examiner l'évaluation par les joueurs de l'intelligence et de la crédibilité des PNJ. La première étude s'est concentrée sur l'évaluation par les joueurs de l'hostilité des PNJ dans un jeu de tir militaire, en examinant les paramètres de conception de l'apparence et des comportements et leur relation. Les résultats ont montré que les comportements des PNJ étaient le seul facteur significatif pour transmettre l'hostilité indépendamment de l'apparence. La deuxième étude a manipulé l'apparence et les comportements des PNJ dans un jeu de tir militaire afin d'étudier l'impact de la violation des attentes des joueurs sur leur expérience de jeu et leur évaluation de l'intelligence et de la crédibilité des PNJ. Cette recherche a impliqué des mesures comportementales et physiologiques et a mis en évidence l'importance de la cohérence des facteurs de conception des PNJ dans l'élaboration de l'expérience de jeu. How they are perceived by players is central to gaming experience. In particular, NPCs’ perceived intelligence and believability highly contribute to creating an engaging and immersive experience. These two aspects are influenced by players’ expectations during their interaction with NPCs. However, the knowledge of how players evaluate NPCs is insufficient, which might explain the actual gap between players’ expectations and their actual evaluation of NPCs’ design. The aim of this thesis is to advance knowledge on players’ evaluation of NPCs as a function of their design factors and players’ expectations. Our hypothesis is that enhancing coherence between NPCs’ design and players’ expectation would lead to enhanced perceived intelligence and believability. Three studies were conducted to investigate players' evaluation of NPCs' intelligence and believability. The first study focused on players' evaluation of NPCs' hostility in a military shooter game, examining the design parameters of appearance and behaviors and their relationship. The results indicated NPCs’ behaviors were the only significant factor in conveying hostility, regardless of appearance. The second study manipulated NPCs’ appearance and behaviors in a military shooter game to investigate the impact of violating players' expectations on players’ gaming experience and evaluation of NPCs’ intelligence and believability. This research involved behavioral and physiological measures and highlighted the importance of coherent NPCs’ design factors in shaping gaming experience. Additionally, the manipulation of NPCs’ design factors induced significant changes in players’ physiological responses and behaviors in the game, suggesting the emergence of new forms of expectations. The verbal modality was not addressed in the first two studies. The third study was conducted on players’ experience and evaluation of NPCs’ perceived intelligence and believability during verbal interactions. The research involved the manipulation of NPCs’ explicit role in the narrative and the communication style using a Wizard of Oz method. Players’ evaluation of intelligence and believability was primarily influenced by the explicit role of NPCs while NPCs’ communication style impacted players’ behaviors during conversations. Throughout these studies, the design factors of NPCs were manipulated to investigate players’ experiences and evaluations of intelligence and believability. The different research findings highlighted the significant impact of coherence between the design factors and players’ expectations on the gaming experience. Furthermore, the results underlined the importance of players’ expectations and the consequential influence of design factors as a feedback on players’ evaluation of perceived intelligence and believability. The thesis concludes with recommendations for game designers and how those can leverage behavioral experiments to create impactful NPCs in their games

Les rares recherches contemporaines en psychologie et en IA consacrées à l'étude de la compréhension d'évènements visuellement perçus et interprétés comme des actions finalisées, relèguent le rôle joué par les propriétés physiques des objets (contexte environnemental) à un deuxième plan en favorisant l'évènement lui-même (contexte temporel). Notre proposition basée sur le catégorisation contextuelle (CCT) considère à la fois le contexte environnemental et le contexte temporel dans lequel intervient l'évènement en formalisant le premier par le réseau de catégories correspondant à la distribution des propriétés physiques et relationnelles sur tous les objets de la situation et le second par les transformations de ces propriétés au cours du temps, ce qui se traduit par des changements d'appartenance des objets aux catégories, des modifications du réseau de catégories et la création de nouvelles catégories. La construction de la représentation envisagée ainsi sous forme de réseaux de propriétés permettrait d'accéder aux propriétés cognitives attribuables aux objets dont l'action et l'attribution des buts aux agents. . .

La diffusion des technologies de l’information (IT) et la croissance du commerce électronique ont modifié la manière dont les entreprises fonctionnent, les forçant à adopter des structures flexibles et à produire plus efficacement. Ce travail de recherche s’intéresse au rôle joué par les nouvelles technologies dans la mise sur pieds de systèmes de recommandation et de recherche incitatifs qui, sur de nombreux marchés, tendent à gouverner les échanges commerciaux. Plus précisément, l’objectif de notre travail est de contribuer à une meilleure compréhension des systèmes de recommandations en comparant économie physique et commerce électronique. Cette thèse peut contribuer à la compréhension des changements engendrés dans ce domaine par l’utilisation du commerce électronique ainsi qu’au développement de substituts « intelligents » aux procédés actuellement utilisés. Par là-même, nous contribuons à l’émergence d’un nouveau visage du commerce électronique sur Internet en identifiant une série de variables psychologiques et économiques qui jouent un rôle important dans la façon dont les agents économiques, notamment les entreprises, agissent et réagissent. En particulier, nous nous fixons comme objectif d’apporter des éléments de réponse aux questions suivantes : Quel est le rôle joué par les systèmes de recommandation dans la formation de préférences et quelle est l’efficacité de ce type de systèmes ? This research is interested in the part played by new technologies in the setting-up of recommendation systems and information search systems which tend on many markets to control the commercial trades. More precisely, our main objective is to contribute to a better understanding of the recommendation systems by comparing physical economy and electronic commerce. This thesis can contribute to the comprehension of the changes generated in this field by the use of the electronic commerce and to the development of “intelligent” substitutes to the processes currently used. By doing this, we contribute to the emergence of a new face of electronic commerce on Internet by identifying a series of psychological and economic variables which play an important part in the manner in which the economic agents, in particular the companies, act and react. Our main objectives throughout this thesis are to answer to the following questions: Which is the part played by the recommendation systems in the formation of preferences and which is the efficiency of this type of systems? Do the specific characteristics of Internet as an economic environment modify the answers to the previous question? Are the competitiveness factors of the companies on the “new economy” different from those of the traditional economy? Which are the opportunities associated with the electronic commerce, in particular through the “shopbots” which tend to become a “hard” part of the recommender systems?

Cette thèse aborde le problème de l’apprentissage avec des fonctions de perte nonmodulaires. Pour les problèmes de prédiction, où plusieurs sorties sont prédites simultanément, l’affichage du résultat comme un ensemble commun de prédiction est essentiel afin de mieux incorporer les circonstances du monde réel. Dans la minimisation du risque empirique, nous visons à réduire au minimum une somme empirique sur les pertes encourues sur l’échantillon fini avec une certaine perte fonction qui pénalise sur la prévision compte tenu de la réalité du terrain. Dans cette thèse, nous proposons des méthodes analytiques et algorithmiquement efficaces pour traiter les fonctions de perte non-modulaires. L’exactitude et l’évolutivité sont validées par des résultats empiriques. D’abord, nous avons introduit une méthode pour les fonctions de perte supermodulaires, qui est basé sur la méthode d’orientation alternée des multiplicateurs, qui ne dépend que de deux problémes individuels pour la fonction de perte et pour l’infèrence. Deuxièmement, nous proposons une nouvelle fonction de substitution pour les fonctions de perte submodulaires, la Lovász hinge, qui conduit à une compléxité en O(p log p) avec O(p) oracle pour la fonction de perte pour calculer un gradient ou méthode de coupe. Enfin, nous introduisons un opérateur de fonction de substitution convexe pour des fonctions de perte nonmodulaire, qui fournit pour la première fois une solution facile pour les pertes qui ne sont ni supermodular ni submodular. In a prediction problem where multiple outputs are predicted simultaneously, viewing the outcome as a joint set prediction is essential so as to better incorporate real-world circumstances. In empirical risk minimization, we aim at minimizing an empirical sum over losses incurred on the finite sample with some loss function that penalizes on the prediction given the ground truth. In this thesis, we propose tractable and efficient methods for dealing with non-modular loss functions with correctness and scalability validated by empirical results. First, we present the hardness of incorporating supermodular loss functions into the inference term when they have different graphical structures. We then introduce an alternating direction method of multipliers (ADMM) based decomposition method for loss augmented inference, that only depends on two individual solvers for the loss function term and for the inference term as two independent subproblems. Second, we propose a novel surrogate loss function for submodular losses, the Lovász hinge, which leads to O(p log p) complexity with O(p) oracle accesses to the loss function to compute a subgradient or cutting-plane. Finally, we introduce a novel convex surrogate operator for general non-modular loss functions, which provides for the first time a tractable solution for loss functions that are neither supermodular nor submodular. La Computation Approximée est basée dans l'idée que des améliorations significatives de l'utilisation du processeur, de l'énergie et de la mémoire peuvent être réalisées, lorsque de faibles niveaux d'imprécision peuvent être tolérés. C'est un concept intéressant, car le manque de ressources est un problème constant dans presque tous les domaines de l'informatique. Des grands superordinateurs qui traitent les big data d'aujourd'hui sur les réseaux sociaux, aux petits systèmes embarqués à contrainte énergétique, il y a toujours le besoin d'optimiser la consommation de ressources. La Computation Approximée propose une alternative à cette rareté, introduisant la précision comme une autre ressource qui peut à son tour être échangée par la performance, la consommation d'énergie ou l'espace de stockage. La première partie de cette thèse propose deux contributions au domaine de l'informatique approximative: Aproximate Loop Unrolling : optimisation du compilateur qui exploite la nature approximative des données de séries chronologiques et de signaux pour réduire les temps d'exécution et la consommation d'énergie des boucles qui le traitent. Nos expériences ont montré que l'optimisation augmente considérablement les performances et l'efficacité énergétique des boucles optimisées (150% - 200%) tout en préservant la précision à des niveaux acceptables. Primer: le premier algorithme de compression avec perte pour les instructions de l'assembleur, qui profite des zones de pardon des programmes pour obtenir un taux de compression qui surpasse techniques utilisées actuellement jusqu'à 10%. L'objectif principal de la Computation Approximée est d'améliorer l'utilisation de ressources, telles que la performance ou l'énergie. Par conséquent, beaucoup d'efforts sont consacrés à l'observation du bénéfice réel obtenu en exploitant une technique donnée à l'étude. L'une des ressources qui a toujours été difficile à mesurer avec précision, est le temps d'exécution. Ainsi, la deuxième partie de cette thèse propose l'outil suivant : AutoJMH : un outil pour créer automatiquement des microbenchmarks de performance en Java. This is an attractive concept, since the lack of resources is a constant problem in almost all computer science domains. From large super-computers processing today’s social media big data, to small, energy-constraint embedded systems, there is always the need to optimize the consumption of some scarce resource. Approximate Computing proposes an alternative to this scarcity, introducing accuracy as yet another resource that can be in turn traded by performance, energy consumption or storage space. The first part of this thesis proposes the following two contributions to the field of Approximate Computing :Approximate Loop Unrolling: a compiler optimization that exploits the approximative nature of signal and time series data to decrease execution times and energy consumption of loops processing it. Our experiments showed that the optimization increases considerably the performance and energy efficiency of the optimized loops (150% - 200%) while preserving accuracy to acceptable levels. Primer: the first ever lossy compression algorithm for assembler instructions, which profits from programs’ forgiving zones to obtain a compression ratio that outperforms the current state-of-the-art up to a 10%. The main goal of Approximate Computing is to improve the usage of resources such as performance or energy. Therefore, a fair deal of effort is dedicated to observe the actual benefit obtained by exploiting a given technique under study. One of the resources that have been historically challenging to accurately measure is execution time. Hence, the second part of this thesis proposes the following tool : AutoJMH: a tool to automatically create performance microbenchmarks in Java. Microbenchmarks provide the finest grain performance assessment. Yet, requiring a great deal of expertise, they remain a craft of a few performance engineers. The tool allows (thanks to automation) the adoption of microbenchmark by non-experts. Our results shows that the generated microbencharks match the quality of payloads handwritten by performance experts and outperforms those written by professional Java developers without experience in microbenchmarking

Dans cette thèse, l’objectif est de comprendre les relations entre d’un côté la réussite académique (la performance académique) et le stress perçu subjectif, et d’un autre côté l’influence des différences individuelles (l’intelligence émotionnelle, les traits de personnalité et le chrono-type) sur la réussite académique, également les interactions entre ces différences individuelles et le stress perçu subjectif. 1) L’étude préliminaire est conduite pour clarifier la relation entre l’intelligence émotionnelle et la stratégie de coping chez les étudiants Chinois expatriés en France; 2) ensuite notre première étude a pour objectif de comprendre les différents éléments liés à la expatriation des étudiants Chinois en France : les causes et critères de la réussite d’expatriation subjective, les différentes sources de stress qu’ils ont rencontrées ainsi que leurs stratégies de faire face pendant leur expatriation sont interrogées; 3) avec les éléments ressortis de notre première étude, nous avons pu construire un questionnaire de la réussite d’expatriation subjective pour les étudiants Chinois en France. L’idée de départ est de valider ce questionnaire en comparant avec les autres paramètres des différences individuelles (Intelligence émotionnelle, intelligence culturelle, et de chrono-type). Malheureusement la passation de l’ensemble de ces questionnaires a pris une longueur de temps qui explique que peu de participants sont allés jusqu’au bout, cela ne nous permet pas finalement de valider ce questionnaire de la réussite d’expatriation. 4) Enfin, nous essayons de comprendre chez la population générale, c’est-à-dire les étudiants Français, les relations entre la réussite académique et les différences individuellesIn this thesis, the objective is to understand the relationships between academic success (academic performance) and subjective perceived stress on the one hand, and the influence of individual differences (emotional intelligence, personality traits and chrono-type) on academic success on the other hand, as well as the interactions between these individual differences and subjective perceived stress. 1) Preliminary study is conducted to clarify the relationship between emotional intelligence and coping strategy among Chinese students expatriated in France; 2) our first study aims to understand the different elements related to the expatriation of Chinese students in France: the causes and criteria of subjective expatriation success, the different sources of stress they encountered as well as their strategies to cope during their expatriation are interviewed; 3) With the elements emerging from our first study, we were able to construct a questionnaire on subjective expatriation success for Chinese students in France. The initial idea is to validate this questionnaire by comparing individual differences (emotional intelligence, cultural intelligence, and chrono-type) with other parameters. Unfortunately, the completion of all these questionnaires took a long time, which explains why few participants completed them, which does not allow us to validate this questionnaire of expatriation success. 4) Finally, we try to understand the relationship between academic success and individual differences among the general population, i.e. French students

Abstract I am an Analytical Chemist, and it comes as a surprise to my new students that hardly anyone in the world wants to know the concentration of X (where Xis a compound of their choice) perse. People want to know the answers to questions such as ‘Can I drink the water?’, ‘Is it safe to live next door to a nuclear power station?’, or ‘Should I invest in the proposed new gold mine?’. The answer to each of these sample questions requires chemical analysis, allied with inputs from other science-based disciplines, but the ultimate answer is not in parts per million, but a simple ‘yes’ or ‘no’. Intelligent data analysis, therefore, has as an ultimate goal to take inputs from scientific endeavor (signals from instruments), with other relevant information, and to turn these inputs into reasoned answers.

Upaya tersebut perlu didukung oleh sarana pengujian dan perangkat teknologi yang mampu mengidentifikasi pola dan perilaku. Pemanfaatan teknologi graph analytics dengan menggunakan algoritma longest path dan centrality menjadi salah satu upaya Direktorat Jenderal Pajak untuk mengidentifikasi subjek, pola dan perilaku.

Internet of things (IoT) plays an imperative role in making the shop floor greener, safer, and more efficient. Enhancement in security and personal satisfaction can be accomplished by interfacing gadgets, vehicles, and infrastructure all around the shop floor. Best technical solutions can be attained in shop floor by assembling different stakeholders to work together. This chapter provides intelligence to garbage bins, using an IoT model with sensors that represent waste gathering management solution. It can peruse, gather, and transmit gigantic volume of information. This information is used to vigorously handle waste collection mechanism and the notification is sent to UDS department. Simulations for some cases are agreed out to examine the profits of such system over a conventional system.

Kesejahteraan hewan mulai menjadi isu yang mengemuka dalam perdagangan ternak, termasuk unggas (ayam). Dalam rangka menjamin kesehatan dan kesejahteraan ternak ayam, selain pengontrolan lingkungan kandang, diperlukan juga pemantauan terhadap perilaku ayam. Hal ini bertujuan untuk mendeteksi lebih awal jika ada ternak yang mengalami gangguan kesehatan atau pun memiliki perilaku agresif yang membahayakan ayam lainnya. Selain itu, pemahaman terhadap perilaku ayam diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi pemberian pakan yang menempati lebih 66% biaya produksi. Sistem kandang pintar yang ada saat ini fokus pada pengontrolan lingkungan kandang. Untuk itu perlu dikembangkan sistem identifikasi perilaku ayam yang dapat memberikan notifikasi ke peternak jika terjadi kondisi yang tidak diinginkan serta untuk mengembangkan model pemberian pakan yang efektif. Model pendeteksian pergerakan ayam yang dikembangkan saat ini memiliki nilai MOTP sebesar 60,4%.

Sebelum proses deteksi kenaikan permukaan air, kita perlu memiliki detektor air yang andal untuk mendeteksi dan mensegmentasi air pada gambar yang diberikan. Ada beberapa metode yang dapat dipakai untuk segmentasi, mulai dari metode pemrosesan citra sederhana, seperti thresholding, hingga metode yang lebih kompleks dengan menggunakan pembelajaran mendalam (deep learning). Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi beberapa metode yang potensial sebagai pendeteksi ketinggian air pada pipa saluran air, seperti pengembangan berdasarkan proyeksi balik histogram (histogram backprojection) dan segmentasi berbasis deep learning. Hasil eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa metode proyeksi balik histogram tidak cukup stabil untuk diimplementasikan pada kondisi sungai yang sebenarnya. Sementara itu, segmentasi menggunakan deep learning memiliki stabilitas dan kinerja yang jauh lebih baik sehingga disarankan sebagai metode utama untuk mendeteksi mendeteksi dan mensegmentasi air.

Upaya menjaga kelestarian usaha perikanan tangkap terutama yang menghasilkan devisa, yaitu ikan tuna, tongkol dan cakalang, perlu dilakukan untuk menghindari kondisi overfishing yang akan berakibat pada kepunahan. Kontribusi penelitian dan novelti yang dicapai adalah percepatan pada proses yang terdapat pada algoritma Maxpool. Sistem yang dikembangkan diharapkan dapat mengenali empat jenis ikan dalam penelitian, yaitu cakalang (Katsuwonus pelamis), tongkol (Euthynnus affinis), lemadang (Coryphaena hippurus), dan cumi-cumi (Loligo chinensis), serta mendeteksi panjang ikan dan bobotnya dengan menggunakan kamera yang sebelumnya diukur dan ditimbang secara manual dengan latar belakang berbeda-beda dan jarak yang statis. Penelitian juga melakukan modifikasi maxpool layer sehingga dapat meningkatkan kinerjanya. Model yang dilatih dapat melakukan pendeteksian obyek dengan tingkat akurasi 89,55%. Penelitian menghasilkan eror estimasi panjang sebesar 2,59% dan berat sebesar 15,67%, serta percepatan maxpool 221,01 ms (27,99%).

Agricultural commodities present remarkable volatility in their production levels, which severely affects farmers. The variational dynamics in the prices of the inputs used and the constant variations in weather conditions have a significant influence on the cereal production chain in Peru; therefore, compared to the ARIMA model, the Additive Holt-Winters forecasting model presented a better fit according to the Akaike Information Criterion (AIC) and the Bayesian Information Criterion (BIC), forecasting the production of Oryza sativa, Zea mays L. var. Indurata and Amaranthus caudatus; however, due to the high seasonality, volatility of production, and the greater amount of outliers due to production in certain periods and geographical areas, the Holt-Winters Multiplicative model predicted the national production of Zea mays L. ssp amiláceo and Chenopodium quinoa, in Peru in the period 2000-2021.

The objective of the research is to develop a global land use / land cover map (LULC) of the Apurímac Region, from ESA Sentinel-2 images with a resolution of 10 m. to predict 10 soil type classes throughout the year in order to generate a representative snapshot of 2020. The methodology used in the analysis is the machine learning model, for the classification it was based on Artificial Intelligence (AI). For the processing, 6 bands of Sentinel-2 surface reflectance data were used: visible blue, green, red, near-infrared and two short-wave infrared bands, to create the final map, the model is run on multiple dates of images throughout the year on the Google Earth Engine (GEE) platform. The results of the study determine the total area is 2 111 415.29 ha, where the water represents 9 392.84 ha. (0.44%), on the other hand, snow/ice occupies 227.89 ha, representing 0.01%, while cultivated land occupies an area of 34 408.09 ha, (1.63%), bushes/shrubs occupy most of 1 740 486.69 ha, which represents 82.435% of the total area.

For meshes, sharing the topology of a template is a common and practical setting in face-, hand-, and body-related applications. Meshes are irregular since each vertex's neighbors are unordered and their orientations are inconsistent with other vertices. Previous methods use isotropic filters or predefined local coordinate systems or learning weighting matrices for each vertex of the template to overcome the irregularity. Learning weighting matrices for each vertex to soft-permute the vertex's neighbors into an implicit canonical order is an effective way to capture the local structure of each vertex. However, learning weighting matrices for each vertex increases the parameter size linearly with the number of vertices and large amounts of parameters are required for high-resolution 3D shapes. In this paper, we learn spectral dictionary (i.e., bases) for the weighting matrices such that the parameter size is independent of the resolution of 3D shapes. The coefficients of the weighting matrix bases for each vertex are learned from the spectral features of the template's vertex and its neighbors in a weight-sharing manner. Comprehensive experiments demonstrate that our model produces state-of-the-art results with a much smaller model size.

Today, sustainable economic development is essential for a country, so it is necessary to act in the planning and efficient use of our resources and to achieve clean and renewable energy. The determinants of renewable and non-renewable energy demand are mainly based on economic growth, financial development and trade. Likewise, the impact of economic growth on energy demand considers that higher energy consumption leads to economic growth. In Peru, promoting energy planning and efficiency actions, as well as the generation and use of renewable energies for economic and energy development to be sustainable in the country. Therefore, this research analyzes the effect of tariffs, GDP and population on the demand for renewable and non-renewable energy in the period 2013 to 2020.

In this research, we will focus on INSOTEC NGO, an entity dedicated to granting microcredits to entrepreneurs with limited economic resources. This company is present in rural areas of Ecuador, increasing its income in recent years. The organization plans to become a bank in the long term and expand its operations to near countries such as Colombia and Peru. However, the entity's customer classification processes have had many drawbacks because it is currently a manual procedure that generates a high operational burden, slow response times to customers, huge inefficiency rates, and a great problem to continue growing. This project proposes to model an artificial intelligence algorithm that classifies the organization's clients based on the different variables that are considered convenient for the analysis. The method selected to meet this objective is a Random Forest, a supervised learning method that builds models that are easy to interpret. Its implementation complexity is very low, it allows continuous and categorical values, and it handles noise from data from different sources very well. This new process will guide the organization to implement these models in other areas such as risk, finance, auditing, and operations.

Existing and emerging applications of artificial intelligence in armed conflicts and other systems reliant upon war algorithms and data span diverse areas. Natural persons may increasingly depend upon these technologies in decisions and activities related to killing combatants, destroying enemy installations, detaining adversaries, protecting civilians, undertaking missions at sea, conferring legal advice, and configuring logistics. In intergovernmental debates on autonomous weapons, a normative impasse appears to have emerged. Some countries assert that existing law suffices, while several others call for new rules. Meanwhile, the vast majority of efforts by States to address relevant systems focus by and large on weapons, means, and methods of warfare. Partly as a result, the broad spectrum of other far-reaching applications is rarely brought into view. One normatively grounded way to help identify and address relevant issues is to elaborate pathways that States, international organizations, non-state parties to armed conflict, and others may pursue to help secure greater respect for international law. In this commentary, I elaborate on three such pathways: forming and publicly expressing positions on key legal issues, taking measures relative to their own conduct, and taking steps relative to the behavior of others. None of these pathways is sufficient in itself, and there are no doubt many others that ought to be pursued. But each of the identified tracks is arguably necessary to ensure that international law is — or becomes — fit for purpose. By forming and publicly expressing positions on relevant legal issues, international actors may help clarify existing legal parameters, pinpoint salient enduring and emerging issues, and detect areas of convergence and divergence. Elaborating legal views may also help foster greater trust among current and potential adversaries. To be sure, in recent years, States have already fashioned hundreds of statements on autonomous weapons. Yet positions on other application areas are much more difficult to find. Further, forming and publicly expressing views on legal issues that span thematic and functional areas arguably may help States and others overcome the current normative stalemate on autonomous weapons. Doing so may also help identify — and allocate due attention and resources to — additional salient thematic and functional areas. Therefore, I raise a handful of cross-domain issues for consideration. These issues touch on things like exercising human agency, reposing legally mandated evaluative decisions in natural persons, and committing to engage only in scrutable conduct. International actors may also take measures relative to their own conduct. To help illustrate this pathway, I outline several such existing measures. In doing so, I invite readers to inventory and peruse these types of steps in order to assess whether the nature or character of increasingly complex socio-technical systems reliant upon war algorithms and data may warrant revitalized commitments or adjustments to existing measures — or, perhaps, development of new ones. I outline things like enacting legislation necessary to prosecute alleged perpetrators of grave breaches, making legal advisers available to the armed forces, and taking steps to prevent abuses of the emblem. Finally, international actors may take measures relative to the conduct of others. To help illustrate this pathway, I outline some of the existing steps that other States, international organizations, and non-state parties may take to help secure respect for the law by those undertaking the conduct. These measures may include things like addressing matters of legal compliance by exerting diplomatic pressure, resorting to penal sanctions to repress violations, conditioning or refusing arms transfers, and monitoring the fate of transferred detainees. Concerning military partnerships in particular, I highlight steps such as conditioning joint operations on a partner’s compliance with the law, planning operations jointly in order to prevent violations, and opting out of specific operations if there is an expectation that the operations would violate applicable law. Some themes and commitments cut across these three pathways. Arguably, respect for the law turns in no small part on whether natural persons can and will foresee, understand, administer, and trace the components, behaviors, and effects of relevant systems. It may be advisable, moreover, to institute ongoing cross-disciplinary education and training as well as the provision of sufficient technical facilities for all relevant actors, from commanders to legal advisers to prosecutors to judges. Further, it may be prudent to establish ongoing monitoring of others’ technical capabilities. Finally, it may be warranted for relevant international actors to pledge to engage, and to call upon others to engage, only in armed-conflict-related conduct that is sufficiently attributable, discernable, and scrutable.
