Abstract The article focuses on the study and development of integrated management system for logistical processes, taking into account the specifics of the activities of agro-industrial enterprises. The targets for research conducted in the article include the enterprises of the fishery industry, which is an integral part of the agro-industrial sector. The article considers the urgency of logistics development, the main problems of logistics systems of modern enterprises, and ways of effective management of logistical processes of sectoral organizations. It is stated that quality expense management of logistical processes can be the key to improving the efficiency of logistics in general. A mechanism for managing logistic costs is proposed, which is focused on performing certain stages in the process of setting up and implementing a system for managing the expenditure side in the company’s activities. It is assumed that the use of tools for managing logistics costs can significantly increase the efficiency of agricultural enterprises in the long term.

The next industrial revolution, which coincided with the COVID-19 pandemic, is prompting a different look at the issue of supply chain change management. A new perspective should take into account the aspect of supply chain efficiency at multiple levels. Efficient logistics is green and energy-saving, both of which need to be systematically integrated with the logistical planning processes. The dynamic changes on the demand and supply side resulting from social, political, and economic transformations have significantly influenced the shaping of long-term supply chains. The development of new manufacturing and logistics technologies prompts the development and implementation of new integrated planning methods to support supply chain management processes. Modern supply chains are oriented towards operations in a dynamically changing socio-economic environment. The new methods are capable of incorporating dynamic adaptation of logistics infrastructure which respond to changing relationships between supply and demand. To meet the identified problems of complexity, relevance, and time-consumption of the logistic planning process in modern enterprise management, the PL9A method of logistic planning and 9A LOGPLANNER application for logistics planning were developed. The article presents the results of experimental and simulation studies on the improvement of logistic processes in a working manufacturing enterprise with application of the PL9A method. The results of the experimental work indicate that the application of the PL9A method embedded in the 9A LOGPLANNER software makes it possible to dynamically simulate any number of logistics system variants in a short period of time, while reducing risk and obtaining tangible benefits in terms of energy and ecological efficiency.

The evolutionary process of the development of logistics theory and methodology is formed under the influence of socio-economic and technological factors. The general logic of the development of the world economy internationalization processes determines the search of innovative ways to integrate participants of the world economic relations. The intensification of competition in the transport services market in the context of the scientific and technological progress in the middle of the XX century contributed to the growing attention of the manufacturing sector to the problems of cargo transportation. Coordination of the activities of the production, distribution and transport systems made it possible to formulate general principles for optimizing the integrated cargo transportation process. The introduction of logistics principles into the practice of transport activities has become a priority. It seems expedient to consider the transformation of approaches to the definition of conceptual provisions of logistics, which will contribute to creating an algorithm for the implementation of the entire complex of logistics operations. The formalization of rules and procedures conditioned by logistics concepts is the basis for the formation of special control actions on the flow processes of cargo movement, finance and information. Four main logistics concepts have been analyzed: the concept of logistics costs, the concept of business process reengineering in logistics, the concept of integrated logistics of the company, and the concept of supply chain management. It has been inferred that the material flow in integrated logistics systems unites the life cycle of the product as a whole, the development of various forms of integration helps to reduce costs by promoting centralized management services, making purchases in large quantities on favorable terms.

Blending technologies play an important role in manufacturing. The design and operation of manufacturing processes using blending technologies represent a special range of manufacturing related logistics because the integrated approach of technological and logistic parameters is very significant. This research proposes an integrated model of supply of manufacturing processes using blending technologies. After a careful literature review, this paper introduces a mathematical model to formulate the problem of supply chain design for blending technologies. The integrated model includes the optimal purchasing strategy depending on the characteristics of components to be mixed in the desired proportion and the costs of supply. The integrated model will be described as a linear programming problem. Numerical results with different datasets demonstrate how the proposed model takes technological and logistic aspects into consideration.

The main theoretical aspects of the features of the formation of the logistics activities of organizations in the modern conditions of the transformation of the world market are considered. The conceptual necessity of using an integration approach in organizing logistics activities, taking into account the influence of factors of the macroeconomic environment, has been substantiated. The main aspects and features of intrafirm and interfirm logistic integration of organizations are interpreted and reasoned, which, in contrast to existing approaches, makes it possible to distinguish this process from its influence on the main activity, taking into account the risk factors. The conceptual factors contributing to the formation of integration processes in the organization in modern conditions of the transformation of the world market are highlighted. It is argued that the modern realities of doing business, regardless of the type of economic activity, necessitate the use of an integrated approach in management when organizing logistics activities. With the help of economic and statistical analysis of the logistics services market in the world, the intensity and need for the use of intrafirm logistics integration are substantiated. The developed theoretical and methodological approach of the integration organization of logistics activities can be applied in practice, taking into account the peculiarities of the economic activities of organizations in modern conditions.

The article investigates the issues of business process reengineering of integrated enterprises. It is determined that the impact on the efficiency of market activities is associated with the use of marketing and logistics tools. The newest management systems will allow to combine functions (production and commercial) in the strategies for achievement of the maximum effect at positioning of the integrated enterprises in various markets. It is proved that the formation of the management system of an integrated enterprise should take place on the basis of system, complexity, integrity and unity. It has been identified that the issues of partnership marketing become especially important in the application of the marketing and logistics system and in the entry of the integrated enterprise into the target market. The main factors of influence and factors of customer-oriented management formation at the enterprises are presented. It is determined that business process reengineering requires the development of a combined internal marketing and logistics system in accordance with changes in the market environment. It is outlined that marketing logistics should be formed in order to get the best results in the management system of integrated enterprises. The necessity of using marketing through two-vector understanding, and logistics – in a broader management area is proved. Marketing logistics takes into account all the features of production and commercial activities of integrated enterprises. It is presented that the concept of marketing and logistics management in the process of reengineering the business processes of integrated enterprises will have its own functionality. The defined set of functions is a combination of marketing and logistics. The need to involve the tools of partnership marketing has been identified in the reengineering of integrated enterprises due to the peculiarities of production and commercial components of their activities. It is proved that the combination of the main activity can have target markets in different areas, so the combination of internal marketing and logistics strategies into one is a crucial stage of their effective development. The analysis of the current scientific and methodological principles of project management is performed. It is established that the existing models and methods cannot be used to control the configuration of integrated projects for the creation of logistics systems. The known toolkit provides general approaches to controlling the configuration of projects and does not take into account many factors of the design environment, which determine changes in the configuration of integrated projects for creating logistics systems. It has been substantiated that changes in the configuration of integrated projects for the creation of logistics systems are due to two groups of factors. They can be assessed by four criteria based on the determination of two generalized evaluative characteristics of the influence of the factors of the design environment on changes in the configuration objects of these projects. The scientific and methodological foundations of the configuration control of integrated projects for the creation of logistics systems are proposed, taking into account the changing components of their design environment. To control the configuration of integrated projects for the creation of logistics systems, the use of project management theory and system-factor principles is envisaged, which fully take into account the peculiarities of the implementation of these projects. Based on the proposed model, the impact of internal environment factors of integrated projects for the creation of logistics systems on changes in the configuration object No. 4.1 (a specialized tank truck for transporting perishable goods) was assessed. Significance coefficients are defined for each of the assigned codes (evaluation criteria and factors that determine the configuration changes) of the configuration objects of integrated projects for the creation of logistics systems. Their numerical value is in the range 0…1 and it characterizes the significance of each of the factors for a particular object of the configuration of integrated projects for the creation of logistics systems. Quantitative assessment of the impact of design environment factors on changes in the configuration of integrated projects for the creation of logistics systems is carried out on a 100-point scale.

Retail has undergone several transformations over the years. The main reason is due to the digital transformation that is occurring in business, changing all processes and, as a consequence, consumer behavior. This new retail model, much more interactive and integrated, is taking over the market. Retail distribution systems are considered multi- or omni- channel systems when consumers can place orders to buy products: online, physically and online in the stores. Nowadays, most companies try to increase their sales using this recent business model called omni-channel retailing. This is changing the way companies sell their products. These changes can be seen both in the internal logistics of retailers and in the structure and processes of the supply chain. It integrates two existing distribution systems: the retail distribution system and the consumer distribution system. The current study aims to understand this model that integrates the digital and offline and raise its key implications for the strategies applied in logistics.

Production logistics is an element of the logistics system. This article presents its basic tasks and the scope of support for information technologists. The advance in the development of IT systems gives a new form to production enterprises supporting professional management of all logistics processes. Thanks to modern IT technology, production enterprises have the possibility of transformation, which enables them to carry out a new range of activities. The Author highlights in the paper the revolutionary role of integrated IT systems using the examples of selected systems, whose efficient implementation enables covering the operational needs of production enterprises. Although in the case of logistics, information has always constituted the basis for management, it is now when, thanks to the suitable technology, it has become the basis for competitive logistic strategies. Information, apart from workforce, capital, materials, is one of the basic resources of an enterprise, while IT systems have significantly extended the opportunity to make use of information which serves not only building reports or lists, but also covering operational needs of an enterprise. Thanks to those systems certain pieces of information can be used repeatedly without paying attention to their relevance. Proper implementation and use of integrated IT systems currently constitutes the basis for business management.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to examine the value chain processes that represent the “black box” between supply logistics integration and competitive operational performance in firms. To realize this objective, the authors develop a research model which comprises a series of linkages from supply logistics integration to operational outcomes using Porter’s concept of value chain and the relational view of resource-based theory as theoretical lenses. Design/methodology/approach – The data set for testing the hypothesized relationships in this study was drawn from 232 Australian manufacturing firms. Findings – The findings show that there is no significant direct relationship between supply logistics integration and competitive operational performance; rather, the relationship is fully mediated by inbound supply performance and internal lean production processes. Further, lean production processes have a positive effect on inbound supply performance. Research limitations/implications – The study shows the importance of managing both internal (production processes) and external processes (logistics and supply chain) of firms’ operations in an integrated manner in which supply logistics integration act through key internal processes to impact competitive performance which the end customers actually experience. Originality/value – This is the first study which uncovers what happens “in between” the incoming materials and the end outputs delivered by firms into the market. This “in between black box” is important in improving our understanding of how inbound supply activities are translated into outbound competitive performance outcomes.

The purpose of the article is to study and justify the need to use information technologies (IT), in particular financial, logistics provision and in the management of business processes. This will increase competitive advantages, improve the quality of logistics services and reduce the cost of their implementation. In accordance with the goal, such interrelated tasks are solved: peculiarities of development of integrated logistics providers are defined and studied; priority directions in the work of providers are determined; the foreign and Ukrainian experience of implementation of services in the field of logistics are analyzed; necessity of using virtual logistics providers in the market of transport and logistics services is substantiated. Scientific novelty of the conducted research consists in theoretical substantiation and experimental confirmation of methods and tools for development, management and organization of information support of logistics provider activity. The particular attention in the research is paid to modeling and designing of information support systems for innovative forms of logistics providers. Their activities are based on the automation of the implementation of logistics business processes, as well as capabilities of artificial intelligence when making managerial decisions in the field of logistics to improve the financial position of enterprises. The practical significance of the research is to develop an innovative virtual logistics provider in the market of logistics services and expand financial possibilities of using innovative logistics provider tools to improve processes of information support management for logistics operating activities.

Steelmaking continuous casting (SCC)—hot rolling (HR) is a key process in the production of steel products. It is also a process with large energy consumption. Energy saving has always been an important goal of production scheduling of this process. In this paper, aiming at integrated scheduling optimization for SCC-HR processes, energy saving objective is converted to minimize waiting time of slabs in slab yard, so as to reduce slab temperature loss and achieve the goal of saving energy. An integrated two-stage mathematical programming model is established for the above problems, and a hybrid algorithm of genetic algorithm and linear programming is designed for the integrated model. The correctness of the model and the validity of the algorithm are verified by computational experiments using simulated instances.

Aim and tasks. The purpose of the research is to substantiate the methodological approach to the impact of the integration model of logistics marketing on the effectiveness of reproduction processes in the system of commodity markets. The main objectives of the study are: to determine the essence of the interaction of logistics and marketing at the level of commodity markets, substantiation of the phased scheme of eliminating problem areas as part of the leading characteristics of commodity markets, outlining the impact of integrated logistics marketing model on the theoretical foundations of commodity markets. Results. With the proposed methodological approach to the use of an integrated model of logistics marketing becomes relevant to situations that are associated with radical transformational shifts in the strategic commodity markets associated with the diversification of foreign markets, the formation of complete supply chains, innovative economic development. etc. The proposed scheme of overcoming the problematic characteristics of certain types of commodity markets indicates the presence of significant reserves for the use of marketing research on the formation of effective logistics chains in the system of reproductive processes of trade. Conclusions. It is concluded that the main indicators of the effectiveness of taking into account the logistical factor in making marketing decisions are determined - the factor of availability of goods for use, accessibility to the place of use and time of use of goods. The influence of marketing on the formation of logistics chains of the commodity market is determined by the adaptation of logistics to the leading characteristics of commodity markets.

The current crisis situation in coal mining forces coal companies to appeal to in-depth detailed methods of assessing the economic efficiency of business processes and identify additional reserves of optimization of technical and economic indicators. The most problematic issue remains the identification of the logistics costs arising in the processes of supply, production, and sales in the total volume of the company's accounting costs. However, the assessment of the economic efficiency of the logistics system allows coal companies to improve the activities of the functional areas of logistics and develop measures to reduce costs. The article introduces an integrated approach to the consideration of the flows of material and information resources in the technological processes of the mining enterprise and in its interactions with partners. The paper defines the main tasks of optimization of functional areas of logistics to be solved by the management when working with consumers and suppliers, in production processes, in sales activities, in warehousing, cargo handling and transportation, and in the field of inventory management. The research provides indicators of estimation of economic efficiency of logistic system, requirements to system of accounting of logistic costs, and ways of their optimization. The use of the proposed methods of assessing the economic efficiency of the logistics system and management of logistics costs will allow the management of coal companies to improve the quality and reliability of information on the effectiveness of procurement, production, and marketing logistics, as well as to optimize the cost of finished products.

The article investigates the approaches to the definition of the term customs logistics. It is established that there is no generally accepted point of view on the content of the concept, its subject field among scientists and practitioners. Customs logistics is considered as a scientific direction, and as a practical activity, and as a functional area of logistics, and as part of the logistics chain, and as a set of logistics processes of participants in foreign economic activity. Given the complex structure and multiplicity of approaches to the interpretation of the term, and applying a systematic approach to disclose the content of customs logistics, it is proposed to understand customs logistics as a scientific and practical activity aimed at regulating customs goods and information and financial flows and protecting national interests, finding a balance of interests and ensuring the security and development of entities. The object-subject field of customs logistics is primarily export-import trade flows. They are accompanied by information flows: outgoing (from customs to the central authority), incoming (on the contrary), accompanying (documents for the goods). In this case, the implementation of foreign trade operations implies that the financial flow is divided into two parts: the first includes payments paid to the supplier for the goods (its feature is that it is governed by the laws of most states and international agreements); the second part includes customs duties, through which the state regulates the volume, range and direction of movement of export-import trade flows. Customs logistics integrates such important functions of customs activity, tariff-regulating, information-analytical, control-passing and financial-economic. The purpose of logistics of customs activity is first of all in the effective logistical organization of all types of the flows observed in customs business and their acceleration. This refers to commodity, information and financial flows, which together form an integrated commodity-information-financial flow, which has the duty to control such structures of the customs service as customs posts and customs, in particular when crossing this integrated flow of the customs border . The integrated nature of customs and logistics flows corresponds to the complex structure of customs logistics, which includes component, regional and functional structure.

Traditional logistics systems aim at minimising total (logistics) costs. At the same time, these systems focus on forward material flows in the supply chain. Concerns for the environment, and warranty related product returns have led to both end-of-life and commercial product take-backs, introducing the question of reverse material flows in these systems. These are backward moving inventories that have to be (re-)processed and show several coupling points to the forward materials flows in the logistics system. We argue that modern accounting systems are challenged with the phases of remanufacturing and refurbishment in the reverse supply chain. Many reverse logistics and reprocessing activities are integrated in other corporate processes, and their costs are difficult to separate from other cost objects, hindering the correct costing of reverse flows. By an analogy to safety management accounting, this paper proposes an activity-based method to account for the costs of reverse material flows. Accounting for these costs will help to take a more holistic view on total logistics costs and improve management control of logistical flows

Integrated decisions in the system of the marketing logistics are the main resource for providing the efficient management of the value chain. Moreover, there is not a sufficient number of methodological approaches, which could use in complex the principles of the integrated modelling of decisions in the operational systems “procurement marketing – supply logistics” and “sales marketing – distribution logistics”. Considering that fact, the methodology of selecting strategic alternatives based on the integrated modeling in separate marketing logistics chains and in stage-by-stage formation of the supply chain participants has been developed in the article. The research is based on the application of the AHP method and the method of planning “dual sourcing” (70/30) for grounding the selection of the supply strategy at the market of material resources; methods of optimal planning according to Bayes criterion, linear programming and logistics modelling – for grounding the selection of the managerial decisions on the strategy of distributing the ready produce. The research covers, firstly, grounding the essence of the marketing logistics through the systemic approach to identification of its main and servicing business processes; secondly, improvement in the process of planning decisions in the procurement marketing system by adding the procedure of the logistical selection of the hierarchical estimation with a different degree of advantages in alternative supply strategies; thirdly, formation of the cascade integrated approach toward selection of the alternative distribution channels for the finished produce by estimating the complex marketing effect and application of the logistical model of optimal distribution.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to develop a new integrated approach for the strategic logistics outsourcing process through identifying the logistics independent success factors (ISFs) and linking them with the firm’s strategic objectives and logistics requirements. Then, the new integrated approach will be used to compare the outsourcing processes for the upstream and downstream supply chain members. Studies of logistics outsourcing reveal the strategic importance of this process and the increasing need for new strategic approach. Design/methodology/approach The design is based on mixed methodology and integrated approach. The fuzzy decision-making trial and evaluation laboratory technique has contributed to the construction of interdependent relationships, development of impact-relationship maps (IRMs) and identifying ISFs. The fuzzy quality function deployment technique was used to link the strategic objectives, logistics requirements and the ISFs to evaluate and select logistics service providers (LSPs) strategically. Finally, two case studies (upstream and downstream supply chains) are used to demonstrate the new approach effectiveness and to highlight the differences/similarities between the two streams. Findings In addition to the new strategic logistics outsourcing approach, this study analysed the impact relationships of the LSPs’ framework factors and constructed their maps. In all, 21 ISFs have been identified: 8 logistics key performance indicators, 7 logistics services and activities and 6 logistics resources and capabilities. The two streams’ comparison relived several differences in terms of strategic objectives, logistics requirements and ISFs. Research limitations/implications The new approach for strategic logistics outsourcing can help firms to perform a better multi-stakeholder multi-criteria strategic outsourcing process. In addition, the upstream–downstream supply chain comparison increases our understanding how different supply chain members perform different outsourcing processes. Originality/value This is one of the pioneering studies that compares the supply chain upstream–downstream perspectives to highlight logistics outsourcing similarities and differences. To the best of author’s knowledge, this is one of the first logistics outsourcing studies that identifies ISFs for strategic logistics outsourcing, provides the first IRMs for the strategic logistics factors and develops a new integrated approach for strategic logistics outsourcing

The article discusses the issues of modern electronic technologies implementation in managing integrated processes in the customs and logistics services sector in Ukraine. It is argued that collection and processing of large amounts of information are hardly possible without the use of latest information technology advancements. It has been verified that to operate effectively, the "Electronic Customs" should involve close interaction between all its subsystems, such as electronic declaration; electronic document management; risk analysis and risk management; transit control delivery; single interdepartmental automated system for collecting, storing and processing information; implementation of fully automated government control; unified database of regulatory and reference documentation used for customs purposes; information support for audit and law enforcement activities. The research findings have revealed a number of benefits of using the electronic declaration pattern, in particular, it contributes to boosting trade, reducing the time period for customs control, eliminating of subjective factors while handling customs procedures through the use of online prior notification and preliminary electronic customs declaration in the frameworks of customs clearance of goods and customs documents and goods delivery. Ultimately, building a multifunctional integrated system of "Electronic Customs" is focused towards better facilitating and enhancing the customs units performances by speeding up customs control and customs clearance procedures, improving the public service quality in the area government customs regulation, mitigating the risk of any illegal actions and corruption along with ensuring and enhancing the customs services security in Ukraine, contributing to further development, adaptation and successful harmonization of information systems of the State Customs Service of Ukraine to the European Union standards and good practice.

Complete and verified information is the fundamental condition for rational decisions about the realization of logistics processes on a meso- and macroeconomic scale. In the situation where a large increase in trade and freight transport volumes in the Baltic Sea region (BSR) is expected and in which the BSR is facing a major economic restructuring, efforts to achieve more integrated and sustainable transport and communication links within the BSR are needed. One of these efforts is the development of logistics centres (LCs) and their networking, which will continue to have an impact on improving communication links, spatial planning practices and approaches, logistics chain development and the promotion of sustainable transport modes. These factors will reflect on logistics processes both in major gateway cities and in remote BSR areas. The importance of logistics systems as a whole is not seen clearly enough. Logistics actors see that logistics operations are not appreciated as much as other fields of activity. In addition, logistics centres and the importance of logistics activities to the business life of areas and the employment rate should be brought up better. In the paper main goal and tasks of national approach to LCs development are discussed. Strategic focus of new activities in this area is on the integration of various networks within and between logistics centres in order to improve and develop the quality of logistics networks as well as to spatially widen the networking activities. The key objectives are to integrate the links between logistics centres, ports and other logistics operators in a functional and sustainable way, to promote spatial integration by creating sustainable and integrated approaches to spatial planning of logistics centres and transport infrastructure, to improve ICT‐based networking and communication practices of the fields of transport and logistics and to increase the competence of logistics centres and associated actors by organising educational and training events. The current activities include, for example, the creation of measures for transport networking and port modernisation, multimodal transport network strategies, integrated networks between ports, logistics centres and other operators, the better involvement of LCs in spatial planning and knowledge of the land use needs of the LCs, territorial impact assessments on selected transport corridors where logistics centres are located, the establishment of a common vision of the future spatial and environmental development along the transport corridors and LC‐areas, the elimination of bottlenecks in port‐hinterland‐LC connections, the integration of telematics supported logistics networks based on identification and analysis of networks.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to propose a set of logistics activities for each key supply chain business process of the Global Supply Chain Forum (GSCF) model and a conceptual framework to guide their implementation. Design/methodology/approach – A literature review on supply chain management (SCM) and logistics was conducted to integrate the existing knowledge of SCM, key business processes, and logistics; the latter is critical element for the success of SCM. A set of logistics activities and a conceptual framework are presented to guide their implementation in each of the key business process of the GSCF model. Three case studies were conducted in Brazilian food companies to verify the applicability of the proposed logistics activities, their characterization, and the conceptual framework. Findings – The logistics activities, the key business processes, and the steps to their implementation are integrated into a comprehensive framework. A total of 24 logistics activities and a conceptual framework to guide their implementation for each key business process of the GSCF model were proposed focussing on competitive advantage in a supply chain environment. Originality/value – The need for and the benefits derived from the involvement of the logistics in the key business processes of SCM have been reported in the literature, but the logistics activities in these processes and the way they were implemented have not yet been identified. According to Eisenhardt and Graebner (2007), building theory from case studies is an increasingly popular and relevant research strategy that involves using one or more cases to create theoretical constructs, propositions, and/or midrange theory from case-based empirical evidence. Therefore, the research gap to be filled with this manuscript is: “How does the involvement of the logistics area in the key business processes of the GSCF model occur?” The research question of the present study is: “Which activities are performed by the logistics area in the key business processes of the GSCF model and how to implement them?”. This study bridged the research gap and answered the research question by creating a theoretical construct through a conceptual framework to guide the implementation of the logistics activities for each key business process of the GSCF model. This paper aimed to extend the existing theory since the available literature has yet not addressed this research question at all.

Development of an effective logistics infrastructure for companies contributes to ensuring their effective work, directly affects financial performance and requires the establishment of a management and accounting system for logistics costs. Classifying and registering logistics costs becomes more important in this regard. At this stage of Ukrainian accounting practice, there are challenges for logistics costs accounting such as their identification and registration. Methodological basis of study among different logistics concepts (concept of general logistics costs, concept of reengineering business processes in logistics, concept of an integrated logistics strategy, concept of supply chain management) was total logistics costs concept or the concept of full value as well as process-oriented approach. In the work, the generalization and formalization of existing approaches to the logistics costs accounting was made. Feasibility of using a process-oriented approach among other approaches (absorption costing, direct costing target costing, kaizen costing, etc.) were substantiated. The algorithm of identification and registration of logistics costs for Ukrainian enterprises was proposed. It is based on such inclusion in the relevant economic process (supply, production, sales and administration of logistics processes) and the use of a new consolidated account 29 “Logistics costs”. This authors’ approach to solving the problem of identification and registration of logistics costs for accounting purposes allows to optimize and increase the informativeness of accounting logistics costs reflection in Ukrainian accounting practice.

The paper discusses a number of construction project logistics problems, with focus on supply systems, and presents the results of recent survey of Polish contractors’ supply routines. On the basis of the survey, patterns of development of logistic systems have been described. The enclosed results of cost simulations indicate that outsourcing supply logistic processes, considering the current state of Polish construction market, may reduce costs. The paper emphasises that creating logistic guidelines of a project at its early stages of planning and then a design of integrated logistic service to the project may help find ways of making a construction project more effective.

Abstract Simulation modelling tools have been widely adopted for the evaluation of alternatives in transport planning, management and logistics. The complexity that underlies in transport systems and logistics necessitate the integration of different models that are capable of overcoming limitations that may exist individually to each model. Towards this direction, this paper aims to integrate two simulation software and use the integrated model for the evaluation of traffic and logistics measures in the wider area of Volos Port, Greece. The built model is able to simulate the traffic conditions on a transport network along with port’s intra-logistics processes and is used to evaluate a set of measures in the year 2030, by comparing it with the situation in the year 2030 without having implemented any new measure. For the evaluation, a set of indicators is used to gauge the environmental and transport impacts. The analysis is completed by using a multi-criteria decision making tool to generate the Logistics Sustainability Index (LSI) to summarize the information that is provided by the indicators. The results show that the use of integrated simulation models can provide a holistic impact evaluation of complex decisions with a high level of accuracy.

Results. This concept forms the basis of an enterprise's economic strategy: the logistics process is used as a tool in the competition. In today's environment, one of the main problems of domestic enterprises is the lack of logistics strategies designed for integrated supply chain management in order to optimise their resources. Unfortunately, there remains a lack of capacity to implement logistics approaches in their operations and to develop a logistics strategy in line with their own logistics potential. Abstract It was on the basis of the obtained results that identify the key prerequisites for the integration of the management of logistics processes, management of the value creation process, and risk management that the methodological basis for the construction of the axiological dimension of the risk management (ADRM) model of logistics processes was determined. By taking into account the contribution of individual concepts to the new research area, its essence was defined as an integrated, structured instrumentation aimed at the identification and implementation of logistics processes supporting creation of the value added as well as the identification and elimination of risk factors disturbing the process of the value creation for internal and external customers. The base for the ADRM concept of logistics processes is the use of the potential being inherent in synergistic effects which are obtained by using prerequisites for the integration of the management of logistics processes, of value creation and risk management as the key determinants of the value creation.

For economic entities, business partnerships are not based on individual competition or improving individual business processes, but on improving supply chains. When making management decisions, the question arises about the performance indicators of business processes both at the level of an economic entity and at the macro level. When assessing the effectiveness of supply chains, it is necessary to assess the costs arising in the course of financial and economic activities. The logistics component has a large share in the supply costs. A full accounting of logistics costs allows you to obtain reliable information for the analysis and development of measures to reduce them, which increases the efficiency of the entire economic activity of an economic entity. The article proposes a classification of logistics costs according to the degree of added value creation and dependence on the volume of production, including the allocation of transaction costs, which make up a significant share in the overall structure of logistics costs. The classification of logistics costs should be transformed depending on the organizational and legal form of the organization and the field of activity. The system of accounting for the logistics costs of economic entities should highlight them when implementing all logistics functions; study information about the most significant logistics costs and the nature of their occurrence; study the interdependencies of logistics costs throughout the entire supply chain. The developed system allows keeping separate accounting of logistics costs on a separate account, which makes it possible to control them. In modern conditions, organizations are faced with the need to integrate various types of accounting, including accounting, management and statistical. Abstract At present, under the conditions of some turbulent changes observed in our environment, micro-enterprises seek for opportunities to win their competitive positions in the market and in the sectors in which they operate The aim of the article is to present marketing and logistics management as one of the methods applied to achieve the market objectives of micro-enterprises. As an integrated method, marketing and logistics management may contribute to the improvement in competitiveness; hence, the recognition of conditions required for the application of this method may also contribute to the improvement in competitiveness. In the article, a review of literature related to the discussed problems is presented. The expert literature on the analysed subject does not provide any publications on micro-enterprise management, and scientific research in that sector is very scarce and provides only some general data. Therefore, it is necessary to analyse the processes taking place in the micro-enterprise sector in more detail, especially in the field of modern methods of management. In the article, some considerations on the specificity of integrated logistics and marketing processes are presented. Research methods: a review of expert literature and the Author’s own case-study research. The research was carried out in the years 2015-2018 among a group of micro-enterprises in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Province, Łódzkie Province, Mazowieckie Province and Wielkopolskie Province. The aim of the research was to identify conditions required for marketing and logistics management in micro-enterprises and to define the impact exerted by the factors that determine the implementation of that process. Recognising knowledge as a fundamental determinant of the implementation of modern management methods in the aspect of micro-enterprise operation requires some in-depth analysis. The article presents the results of the research based on the case-study of integrated marketing and logistics management, on the example of a virtual micro-enterprise. The main conclusions: In a virtual micro-enterprise, it is possible to indicate the field of integration of marketing and logistics processes and to define their courses and conditions. Knowledge of logistics and marketing allows us to extend the field referring to the environment of the analysed company in virtual space.

Outsourcing some of the logistic activities is a useful strategy for companies in recent years. This makes it possible for firms to concentrate on their main issues and processes and presents facility to improve logistics performance, to reduce costs, and to improve quality. Therefore provider selection and evaluation in third-party logistics become important activities for companies. Making a strategic decision like this is significantly hard and crucial. In this study we proposed a fuzzy multicriteria decision making (MCDM) approach to effectively select the most appropriate provider. First we identify the provider selection criteria and build the hierarchical structure of decision model. After building the hierarchical structure we determined the selection criteria weights by using fuzzy analytical hierarchy process (AHP) technique. Then we applied fuzzy technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) to obtain final rankings for providers. And finally an illustrative example is also given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed model.

The features of support for the logistics sphere of production of equipment (products) at Russian high-tech enterprises are examined and the main areas of activity of enterprises are clarified in terms of providing integrated support for the logistics sphere of products at all stages of the life cycle. Based on current trends in the development of the economy of the Russian Federation, the use of the latest logistics technologies in the management of production enterprises is of particular relevance. It has been established that in the implementation of the traditional system of product logistic support, information flows carry information about product requirements, cost, ordering and delivery of finished products to consumers. Currently, certain steps are being taken to introduce CALS-technologies, which are considered as tools for organizing and providing continuous information support to all participants in the creation, production and use of products at all stages of the product life cycle, reducing costs in the production, operation and repair processes. It was revealed that in the traditional support system for the product’s logistics sphere there is no centralized planning, the logistics information system cannot promptly change the parameters of the main elements of the support system depending on the changed operating conditions of the product. A promising system of integrated support for the logistics sector based on CALS-technologies is proposed, which eliminates the shortcomings by analyzing the support of the logistics sector.

Today’s requirements for the implementation of logistics activities require the formation and revision of appropriate strategies. The article considers the practical and theoretical experience of developing strategies for logistic activity and logistics consumer service. The strategy of quality of logistics customer service is implemented in the management of logistics business processes of the enterprise and is a set of solutions, plans and measures aimed at continuous improvement and ensuring effective organized activities of staff in a certain material environment related to offering and providing logistics services that meet specific needs and requirements of customers. When forming quality strategies of logistics services, special attention should be paid to the culture of quality (formation of the worldview of the whole team in the field of quality – motivating each employee to acquire new knowledge and skills) and business culture of logistics. The latter acts as a certain unity of interests of all groups of persons interested in logistics processes; provided with appropriate ways of making management decisions, etc. The article proposes an approach to the formation of logistics service quality strategies, which is based on determining the levels of efficiency, effectiveness and adaptability of logistics customer service, and involves the development and selection of options for appropriate alternative solutions. The following strategies are determined as typical: strategy of logistics outsourcing, concentrated improvement, reengineering of the logistics service process, purposeful quality improvement, application of “kaizen” technologies, minimization of logistics costs, quality management, continuous improvement of the quality of logistics services. The choice of priority alternative solutions is based on the maximum values of their integrated assessment, taking into account the importance of implementing a particular strategy.

Innovation is much required to efficiently manage the logistics system. At the same time, to come up with a successful innovation is also a challenge for the agro-industry. There are many literatures which defined the success factors of logistics innovation. This study investigates the success factors of logistics innovation for agro-industry and determines factors relevant to the business process of agro-industry based on literature published between 2015 and 2018. Through a Systematic Literature Review with fifteen were determined as success factors of logistics innovation in agro-industry, i.e. (1) technology utilization, (2) suistainability, (3) distribution and transportation management, (4) infrastructure, (5) strategic planning, (6) technical support and service architecture, (7) integrated information technology, system, and management, (8) regulation/ policy, (9) logistics cost, (10) collaboration, (11) logistic competence, (12) alliance strategy, (13) continuous improvement, (14) efficiency in business processes, and (15) hunting on positive practices. The Fifteen factors have the same degree of importance and have the same contribution to the successful achievement of logistics innovation.

Logistics 4.0 means the application of Industry 4.0 in the logistics area. Therefore, many new practical and scientific solutions are created and published giving a huge amount of individual examples for realizing different logistics tasks. To find solutions in a systematic way, it is necessary to create and use meta-knowledge. The paper gives an overview about typical solution fields, the level of knowledge and application. It makes a difference between objects, processes, systems and the relevant infrastructure of logistics according the model “Smart Logistics Zone". The “Smart Logistics Zone” is defined as a scalable examination and action area for the analysis, evaluation, planning, control, regulation and (re-) configuration of logistics solutions. Basis of the research formed many years of scientific work and practical experiences in the area of logistics. This is connected with an evaluation of current scientific publications and own scientific projects on the area of Logistics 4.0. The starting points are changed requirements and conditions according to Logistics 4.0. Solutions of Logistics 4.0 are identified, systemized and described. One solution group are e.g. the possibilities of autonomously driving. They have the same idea to move, to handle and to transport without a driver or pilot realized by different means of transport. The majority of solutions of autonomous driving are on the level of prototypes and pilot projects. The new developed model “Smart Logistics Zone” is recommended to solve all tasks of logistics engineering according to Logistics 4.0 A new model is developed to systemize process knowledge. Logistics 4.0 is integrated. Important trends of Logistics 4.0 are characterized to sign the future. The theory of logistics must be further developed. Therefore, some new and improved systematics are presented in this paper: solutions of Logistics 4.0, strategies to improve logistical processes and trends of Logistics 4.0.

A mechanism of preparing rationalistic solutions in the system of distributing logistics of a fruit and vegetable cooperative has been studied considering possible alternatives and existing limitations. Belonging of separate operations of the fruit and vegetable cooperative to technological, logistical or marketing business processes has been identified. Expediency of the integrated use of logistical concept DRP, decision tree method and linear programming in management of the cooperative has been grounded. The model for preparing decisions on organizing sales of vegetables and fruit which is focused on minimization of costs of cooperative services and maximization of profits for members of the cooperation has been developed. The necessity to consider integrated model of differentiation on levels of post gathering processing and logistical service has been revealed. Methodology of representation in the economical-mathematical model of probabilities in the tree of decisions concerning the expected amount of sales and margin for members of the cooperative using different channels has been processed. A formula which enables scientists to describe limitations in linear programming concerning critical duration of providing harvest of vegetables and fruit after gathering towards a customer has been suggested.

Logistics cost control has become a new source of profits for manufacturing enterprises. Activity based costing (ABC) can achieve great accuracy of logistics cost by using multiple cost drivers, and logistics activity cost control based on ABC develops an advanced management measure. According to the activity operation processes and characteristics of supply logistics, production logistics, sale logistics, reverse logistics and waste material logistics, the mechanism of logistics cost control based on ABC is analyzed for manufacturing enterprises, and the integrated logistics cost control system is creatively put forward for manufacturing enterprises to implementing logistics cost management efficiently. Moreover, some measures including beforehand control, process control and afterwards control are put forward for manufacturing enterprises to reduce the total product cost.

The article deals with one of the key concepts of the theory of organization, namely the effectiveness of management, which is understood as an economic category that reflects the contribution of management activities to the end result of the organization. The theoretical aspects of formation of industrial and logistical infrastructure are considered in the article. A functional-structural approach to the formation of infrastructure security is presented. The concepts of "infrastructure" as an economic category are considered, an approach adequate for its analysis is defined. The methodological foundations of defining the concept of infrastructure as one of the most important components of the production system are investigated. It is noted that it is necessary to consider its constituent elements from the point of view of a unified system that fulfills the condition of functional necessity and ensures the interconnection of production processes at the micro and macro levels of the economy. Three groups of tasks are considered in the process of interaction of the external environment of direct influence and the external environment of indirect influence on the logistics and production system. It is concluded that diversity, problem character and ambiguity of the final vector of the development of logistic processes to the changing market conditions, necessitate the activation of scientific research, theoretical rethinking and stabilization of the ongoing transformations. The necessity for a reasonable construction of an integrated system that would perform the functions of managing, controlling and regulating the processes of movement of material resources, personnel, energy, information and other flows for the effective operation of industrial production is considered. The necessity of further theoretical understanding of the strategic aspects of the security of logistics infrastructure at the micro and macro levels of the economy is proved.

With the development and integration of the global supply chain, manufacturing industries are rapidly adjusting their modes of operation within and between enterprises. Existing manufacturing processes are being improved to meet the requirements of lean and agile manufacturing, and suppliers are given additional responsibilities to provide parts and services dynamically. An enterprise must strategically re-engineer its operations model to face the rapid changes of the global market place. This paper identifies prevailing challenges and highlights a future vision of the global logistics management framework for the automotive industry. An integrated business and logistics hub (IBLH) model integrating information flows (via the business hub) and material flows (via the logistics hub) is presented. This research uses the case of a Taiwan automobile parts and assembly manufacturer to analyse the processes of the IBLH. The goals of the case are to shorten supply chain processes, reduce inventory costs, and ensure information transparency during material flow and product distribution. Finally, this research provides suggestions to depict the case company's current limitations and deficiencies, and presents a future plan for e-logistics services.

The Armed Forces (AF) health care system of Ukraine today requires further improvement and development in the direction of unification and interoperability with the medical services ofNATO member countries. One of the important tasks facing the medical service of the Armed Forces ofUkraine, according to the Main Provisions of Logistics Provision of the Armed Forces ofUkraine, is the creation of a single effective system of resource management. The effectiveness of such a system is determined by the quality and reliability of the information used to control the flow processes. The aim of the work–а study of the singularities of the medical support of the troops in the integrated information network of logistic support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. To achieve the purpose of the research, the analysis of the domestic and foreign scientific literature, the current regulatory framework of Ukraine was conducted. Research methods are: information search, contrast, arrangement and modeling. While conducting a study of the existing integrated information network of logistics support for military units and units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine it was found that this is one of the largest and most complex nodes. It was found that each node of the logistic information network is connected to other nodes of the transverse and longitudinal canals. The transverse canals connect the nodes inside the echelon, and the longitudinal canals connect the nodes between the echelons. Thus, the information network is a hierarchical network. It has been determined that the set of logistic support nodes is divided into three groups according to the research of foreign military scientists can be called: executives, operators and consumers. It is established that according to the current legislation in the information network of logistic support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Main Military Medical Directorate, as a body managing the medical service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, is on par with the Main Logistics Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. A study was conducted to study the peculiarities of the medical provision of troops in the integrated information network of logistical support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. On the basis of theoretical generalization of data of scientific literature and normative-legal acts, the model of the current information network of logistical support of military units and units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was constructed. The necessity to develop national decision support software in military logistics for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is identified.

Aim. The use of intelligent agents in modeling an integrated information system of transport logistics makes it possible to achieve a qualitatively new level of design of control systems in supply chains. Materials and methods. The article presents an original approach that implements the possibilities of using multi-agent technologies in the interests of modeling the processes of functioning of an integrated information system of transport logistics. It is shown that the multi-agent infrastructure is actually a semantic shell of the information system, refl ecting the rules of doing business and the interaction of its participants in the supply chains. The characteristic of the model of the class of an intelligent agent, which is basic for solving problems of management of transport and technological processes, is given. Results. The procedures of functioning of the model of integration of information resources of the participants of the transport services market on the basis of intelligent agents are considered. The presented procedures provide a wide range of network interaction operations in supply chains, including traffi c and network structure “fl exible” control, mutual exchange of content and service information, as well as their distributed processing, and information security. Conclusions. The proposed approach showed that the use of intelligent agents in modeling the functioning of an integrated information system makes it possible to take into account the peculiarities of transport and technological processes in supply chains, such as the integration of heterogeneous enterprises, their distributed organization, an open dynamic structure, standardization of products, interfaces and protocols.

With the help of theoretical analysis of marketing and logistics management processes and analysis of models, methods and mechanisms of marketing and logistics system of the enterprise considered the essence, purpose, content, objectives, basic principles and laws of reproduction of marketing and logistics activities in changing market conditions. the relationship of marketing and logistics at all levels of marketing and logistics strategy of the enterprise. Under the influence of marketing is the modification of the tasks of internal management and internal corporate planning of logistics activities of the enterprise. Reducing the costs of marketing and logistics strategy is one of the most affordable reserves to increase the competitiveness of the enterprise. The article examines a number of problems related to improving the management of marketing and logistics activities of the enterprise and developing an effective mechanism for its operation, adequate to the processes taking place in the market, taking into account strategic, tactical and technological aspects. Because, as utility analysis shows, a product or service provides satisfaction to the consumer only if it is available there and when the need arises, to achieve such satisfaction, integrated efforts are needed, both internal and external (with suppliers and end users). With this in mind, we need to work on understanding the importance of relations, intensifying communications between all participants in the marketing and logistics process and on the formation of information links.

Because the transport and logistics system (TLS) of the business enterprise is exposed to obvious and hidden high risks for the owners, its business processes need effective management throughout the value added chain. The purpose of the article is to present theoretical and methodological justification of TLS operation at enterprise level from the perspective of integrated management of business processes involved in the transport and logistics services. The article focuses on elaborating and constructing a diagram of the three-vector approach to building up TLS in the business enterprise, based on the compliance with the regulatory norms (national and international regulatory framework, intramural regulations, compliance with contract terms), risk orientation (economic forecasting of TLS performance, optimization of TLS capacities, analysis of contracting parties operation, computerization of business processes, economic projecting and strategic management), and client orientation (high quality of the provided services, infrastructure improvements, free competition, effective marketing, rationalization of supply chains, provision of guarantees; price policy). It is proposed to group the key business processes involved in TLS by transport and logistics activities, with account to the activity specifics and size of the enterprise, terms of service delivery and other factors of value added creation. A set of indicators for performance assessment of TLS is constructed, classified in the following groups: quality of transport services, efficiency of freight transport, business indicators of diagnostics of the transport activities as a component of the logistics system, assessment of logistics rules, transport efficiency. These indicators will provide an effective tool for performance assessment of TLS at enterprise level.
