Perpustakaan perguruan tinggi adalah perpustakaan yang berada dibawah naungan perguruan tinggi seperti universitas, institut, sekolah tinggi, akademi, politeknik, dan perguruan tinggi lain yang bertugas mengelola koleksi perpustakaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja Aparatur Sipil Negara di UPT Perpustakaan Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner. Skala pengukuran dengan metode skala likert. Populasi yang digunakan yaitu seluruh aparatur sipil negara di lingkungan UPT Perpustakaan Institut Seni Indoneisa Yogyakarta sebanyak 17 orang pegawai. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, kuesioner, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. Penelitian bertempat di UPT Perpustakaan Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja aparatur sipil negara di UPT Perpustakaan Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta masuk kategori puas. The Influence of Work Environment on Job Satisfaction of State Civil Apparatus at UPT Library of the Indonesian Institute of the Arts Yogyakarta. College libraries are libraries under the auspices of universities such as universities, institutes, high schools, academies, polytechnics, and other universities in charge of managing library collections. This study aims to determine the effect of the work environment on job satisfaction of State Civil Apparatus at the UPT Library of the Indonesian Art Institute, Yogyakarta. This type of research is descriptive and qualitative. The instrument used is a questionnaire. The measurement scale with the Likert scale method. The population used is the entire state civil apparatus in the UPT Library of the Indonesian Institute of the Arts Yogyakarta as many as 17 employees. Data collection techniques using observation, questionnaires, documentation, and literature study. The research took place at the UPT Library of the Indonesian Art Institute, Yogyakarta. The results showed that the influence of the work environment on job satisfaction of state civil servants at the UPT Library of the Indonesian Institute of the Arts Yogyakarta was categorized as satisfied.

Анотація:
Regarding the accelerated innovation in the 21st century, the article suggests modifying the spatial principles of Research Institutes as isolated institutions. The 21st century Research Institute should reflect the increasing levels of openness and security in modern information exchange methods. Thus, the Institute reveals invisible information processes in the physical urban environment, becoming the urban centre of innovation, a new workplace and leisure centre, as well as a catalyst for enhancing the city’s sustainability. The article analyses the historical paradigm of effective methods for introducing innovation to the urban environment, as well as modern socio-economic needs of innovative research institutes in the city. As a result, a unique organizational structure and functional programme of a new Research Institute are suggested. The Institute directly participates in enhancing the urban environment and forming a new lifestyle of the city dwellers. New spatial principles of such buildings are also proposed, updating the architectural typology of Research Institutes in the 21st century. Due to the increased interaction with the urban environment, the Research Institute and the city are mutually transformed. This contributes both to increasing the Institute’s efficiency and raising the city’s economic potential and life quality.

Abstract: The aims of in this research is how the environment of the Arabic language in the Dar Al-Salam Islamic Boarding School in North Sumatra and its role in education. The reseach focused on the environment in the Arabic language at the Dar es Salaam Islamic Boarding School in Parmeraan, the activities of students in acquiring language skills, and the role of the Arabic language environment in education at the Dar Al Salam Institute in Parmeraan. This reseach uses a qualitative approach, it’s starts from the data and use the practical theory to analize and clarify so end up with the new theory. The result of this research, (1) the Arabic language environment at the Dar Al Salam Institute in North Sumatra is divided into two types, artificial and natural environments. (2) The activities of students in acquiring the Arabic language at the Dar es Salaam Institute are influenced by two factors, internal and external. The internal factors are encouragement, talent, and intelligence. And the external factors are the environment, the teacher, materials of study, conservation, tradition, job, incentives, exercises, and teaching media. (3) The role of the Arabic language environment in education consists of three parts, they are the role of the Arabic environment in learning general sciences, the role of the the Arabic environment in learning religious sciences, and the role of the the Arabic environment in learning the Arabic language. Coastal marine monitoring is a specialized field of research requiring the acquisition of long-term datasets regarding the main physico-chemical and biological variables that characterize the aquatic environments as a key strategy to depict the environmental status and its possible changes due to natural or anthropogenic stressors. During the last few decades, the devices used in this research field underwenta great evolution. This progress has been made possible by the advancement of the technologies and data processing that have resulted in the availability of new systems for autonomous monitoring. This paper reviews the state of the art of coastal marine monitoring systems developed since 1988 at the Istituto Sperimentale Talassografico—Experimental Thalassographic Institute of Messina (CNR IST), a part of the Italian National Research Council, and continued when the Institute was incorporated into the Istituto per l’Ambiente Marino Costiero—Institute for Marine Coastal Environment (IAMC). The research activity focused on coastal marine monitoring starting at the end of 1988 and lasting for about 30 years, up to the re-organization of the CNR Institutes. This event led to the redistribution of former marine research centers into new Institutes, with missions different to those characterizing the previous structures. Monitoring experiments were performed, and new automatic devices were developed and tested. Some of these systems, including water samplers and integrated data acquisition and transmission systems, are reported.

The COVID-19 pandemic necessitated a transformation in teaching and learning methods, leading to the widespread adoption of E-learning. The study was conducted in 2021, employing a structured questionnaire and descriptive research design to analyze the perception of Banaras Hindu University Students towards E-learning. The survey included 127 respondents, with representation from the Institute of Agricultural Sciences (I.A.S.), Indian Institute of Technology (I.I.T.), Institute of Medical Sciences (I.M.S.), Institute of Management Studies (I. Mg. St.), Institute of Sciences (I.Sc.), and Institute of Environment and Sustainable Development (I.E.S.D.). This perception of students towards E-learning was measured using a 3-point continuum Likert scale consisting of 17 items. The majority of (66.92%) respondents had a favourable perception towards E-learning. Age and parent education level education had a positive and significant relationship with the perception of respondents towards E-learning. It can be concluded that the perception towards E-learning among students of six institutes of BHU is positive and this will be the most important aspect as this only affects the further acceptance or rejection of E Learning.

Abstract Introduction: Bedside teaching is an important but declining strategy in medical education. The regulatory authority’s insistence on structure of an institute needs be supplemented with quality of bedside teaching. The objective of this study was to find perceptions and compare bedside teaching among students of public and private medical colleges of Peshawar. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted at four medical colleges of Peshawar during the month of February 2020. A Likert scale tool with 30 items and four subscales; physical environment, patient’s comfort and student attitude, teaching session and teaching fellow was filled by 242 students. Mean score for each question and each subscale was calculated for each institute for perceptions. Mean score of two public and two private institutes for each subscale was compared by unpaired t-test. Results: Physical environment mean score was highest at Khyber Girls Medical College Peshawar (2.97±0.50). Patients’ comfort and students’ attitude mean score was approximately equal in four institutes. In teaching session, the highest mean score was reported by Khyber Girls Medical College and was lowest by Khyber Medical College. For teaching fellow, mean score was highest at Khyber Girls Medical College (3.70±0.67) and lowest at Kabir Medical College (2.85±0.55). For physical environment (public 2.87±0.48 vs. private 2.59±0.60) and teaching fellow scale (public 2.87±0.48 vs. private2.59±0.60) there was highly significant difference (p=0.0001). Conclusion: Mean score in four subscales are comparable in four institutes with some variation but there are significant differences between public and private institutes in physical environment and teaching fellow subscales. There are some consistencies and conflicts with regional and international literature. This needs in-depth qualitative exploration. In this article the conceptual clarification and application of group analytic thinking to the development of a virtual environment is discussed. The virtual institute of Group Analysis was created to provide the platform for a part-time distance learning postgraduate program in an academic department. Various fields of group analytic work have been consulted to formulate design principles in generating the conceptual idiom to present the course content. Various group analytic constructs are summoned to support the initial phase of formulating both the designed structure and the connecting communicational flow support structures. The virtual environment offers innovative possibilities but conceptual clarification and refinement of the various relational dynamics are still required.

This research is motivated by the high learning outcomes of students in the Office Application training at the Prima Data Padang Training Course Institute (LKP), this is presumably due to the learning environment. This study aims to see a picture of the learning environment in terms of the place of study, learning tools, atmosphere / conditions, time and interaction in learning.This type of research is a quantitative descriptive study. The population in this study were students of the Office Application training at Prima Data Padang Training Course Institute (LKP). The technique of sampling is simple random sampling, the sample taken is 75% of the population, namely 18 people. The data collection technique used a questionnaire. Meanwhile, the data collection tool is google form. The data analysis technique uses the percentage formula.The results showed that first, the learning environment in the Office Application training at the Prima Data Padang Training Course Institute (LKP) from the point of view of the place of learning was said to be very supportive. Second, the learning environment in the Office Application training at the Prima Data Padang Training Course Institute (LKP) in terms of learning tools is said to be very supportive. Third, the learning environment in the Office Application training at the Prima Data Padang Training Course Institute (LKP) in terms of atmosphere / conditions is said to be supportive. Fourth, the learning environment in the Office Application training at the Prima Data Padang Training Course Institute (LKP) from a time perspective is said to be supportive. Fifth, the learning environment in the Office Application training at the Prima Data Padang Training Course Institute (LKP) from the association is said to be very supportive. The Pediatric Growth and Nutrition Branch (PGNB) of the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development of the US National Institutes of Health has adopted a new paradigm to undergird the study of nutrition that recognizes the complex and reciprocal nature of the relationships between nutrition and health outcomes. This conceptual framework, termed the “nutritional ecology,” views humans as complex biological systems interacting with both their internal and external environments. Herein, we focus on: (i) the reciprocal relationship between climate and environmental changes and food systems and their impact on food/nutrition security and health; and (ii) how PGNB is utilizing the “nutritional ecology” framework to support science addressing the interactions among health, nutrition, food systems, climate, and the environment.

The German Aerospace Center is currently developing a new design environment for rotorcraft, which combines sizing, simulation and evaluation tasks into one toolbox. The complete environment applies distributed computation on the servers of the various institutes involved. A uniform data model with a collaboration and interface software, developed by DLR and open source, are used for exchange and networking. The tools used apply blade element methods in connection with full six degrees of freedom trim, panel methods for aerodynamic loads, different empirical models for sizing, engine properties and component mass estimation and finite element methods for structural design. A special feature is the integration of a higher fidelity overall simulation tool directly into the sizing loop. The paper describes the use of the several tools for the phases of conceptual and preliminary design. A design study is presented demonstrating the sensitivity of the process for a variation of the input parameters exhibiting a broad range for trade-off studies. The possibility to continue for analyzing and sizing of the structural properties is also demonstrated by applying a finite element approach for specific load cases. These features highlight the core of the new design environment and enable the development of goal-oriented design processes for research especially of new and unconventional rotorcraft configurations. The work presented in this paper was conducted throughout the DLR internal project, namely the Technologies for Rotorcraft in Integrated and Advanced Design (TRIAD). TRIAD is a joint project of the institutes of Flight Systems, the institute of Aerodynamics and Flow Technology, the institute of Structures and Design, the System Architectures in Aeronautics and Institute of Aerospace Medicine and receives basic founding.

The Air Force Institute of Technology Virtual Environments, 3-D Medical Imaging, and Computer Graphics Laboratory is investigating the 3-D computer graphics, user-interface design, networking protocol, and software architecture aspects of distributed virtual environments. In this paper we describe the research projects that are underway in the laboratory. These projects include the development of an aircraft simulator for a distributed virtual environment, projects for observing, analyzing, and understanding virtual environments, a space virtual environment, a project that incorporates “live” aircraft range data into a distributed virtual environment, a virtual environment application framework, and a project for use in a hospital emergency department. We also discuss the research equipment infrastructure in the laboratory, recent publications, and the educational services we provide.

Technical abilities, knowledge, moral principles, and attitudes to support the environment, known as "green skills", are necessary for the workforce to create and support sustainable social, economic, and environmental results in business, industry, and the community. Vocational educators contribute to the creation of trained workers with green competencies. This study investigates how vocational educators feel about teaching learners green skills and the many green skills that may be used in classrooms. This study is a qualitative inquiry that collects data by conducting a capacity-building session at STEP Institute of Art, Design and Management about greening skills from 40 participants. The respondents believe that although the institute may provide basic knowledge of green skills, skilled instructors are needed to apply these abilities in practical situations. Additionally, these abilities may be incorporated into various disciplines to give students a comprehensive understanding of sustainability. The respondents also mention recycling and material management as skills that might be used in vocational training institutes to reduce water and energy usage. Although implementing these green skills in the classroom is a significant challenge for instructors, students will be inspired to dedicate themselves to the cause of the environment. Therefore, all parties involved must work together to develop greening skills so that the general public and vocational institutes fully know the value of protecting the environment.

Land resources are scarce in Mauritius and to fulfil the export quota sugarcane (Saccharum hybrids) has to be grown in marginal areas which are not conducive to optimal growth. In order to increase overall productivity there is a need to breed and select sugarcane varieties specifically adapted to the extremely dry and extremely wet areas. In this study, 154 genotypes representing four families were planted in a randomized complete block design at two sites. The genotypes were replicated at the two sites and evaluated in the plant cane and first ratoon crops. Family × environment and genotype × environment interactions were determined using the mixed model analysis of variance. Significant differences between families, genotypes and environments were found in stalk height, stalk diameter, industrial recoverable sucrose % cane (IRSC) and cane yield per hectare in tonnes (TCH). The genotype × environment interaction was significant for stalk height, stalk number, stalk diameter, sucrose content, TCH, tonnes sugar per hectare (TSH) and kilobrix (parameter used for selection in the preliminary phase of the selection programme at the Mauritius Sugar Industry Research Institute) in both plant cane and first ratoon crops indicating that the relative performance of the genotypes is not consistent across the environments for these characters. The family × environment interaction was found to be significant for cane and sugar yields whereas it was not significant for field Brix in either the plant cane or the ratoon crops. This showed that, for the parameter Brix, the relative performance of the families is similar in both environments and there is no need to replicate in more than one environment. The environmental sensitivities measured with respect to sugar yield showed that families and genotypes with nearly equal means over all environments displayed inconsistent performances. Differences in the sensitivities of the different families and genotypes were observed and some of the family × environment and genotype × environment interactions could be ascribed to them. The results also suggest that mass selection could be more effective than family selection and selection for each specific environment is advisable.

Background In 2 landmark publications, the Institute of Medicine reported on significant deficiencies in our current health care system. In response, an area of research examining the role of the physical environment in influencing outcomes for patients and staff gained momentum. The concept of evidence-based design has evolved, and the development of structural guidelines for new hospital construction was instituted by the American Institute of Architects in 2006. Objective To determine perceptions of patients and their families of evidence-based design features in a new heart center. Methods Hospitalized patients and their families, most of whom were in intensive care and step-down units, were surveyed and data from the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems were reviewed to determine perceptions of evidence-based design features incorporated into a new heart center and to assess patients’ satisfaction with the environment. Results Responses were reviewed and categorized descriptively. Five general environment topics of focus emerged: privacy, space, noise, light, and overall atmosphere. Characteristics perceived as being dissatisfying and satisfying are discussed. Conclusions Critical care nurses must be aware of the current need to recognize how much the physical environment influences care delivery and take steps to maximize patients’ safety, satisfaction, and quality of care.

ABSTRACTManaging polar research is a tremendous challenge. It covers work at sea on rough and intimidating oceans, and on land over crevassed terrain or rotten sea ice with the prospect of death or frostbite. These environments are extremely hostile and difficult to work in. Results are costly to obtain, and yet the work is of vital importance, as the polar regions are the world's freezers, critical components of the climate system, and repositories of amazing biodiversity. These regions are grossly undersampled, and relatively poorly monitored. National efforts are best carried out in an international framework, in which cooperation is essential for major breakthroughs, and the exchange and sharing of data and information and facilities is essential for ongoing monitoring of change. Under the circumstances the managers of polar research institutes must proceed with well-developed strategies. Given the growing interest of different countries in the polar regions, it would seem useful to bring together advice won through hard effort over the years in how best to develop strategies for polar scientific institute management. This discussion paper offers advice on how such strategies may best be developed.The author has compiled this based on many years of management experience in both the ocean and polar sciences with the following institutions: the UK Natural Environment Research Council's Institute of Oceanographic Sciences Deacon Laboratory, the UK's National Oceanography Centre, UNESCO's Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission, and the International Council for Science's Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research

Abstract The hazard assessment of ultrasonic noise impact on human body at workplaces presents an open problem; it is not satisfactorily solved comparing the fund of knowledge and standard regulations established for the case of audible noise. Some research carried on in the Central Institute of Labour Protection - National Research Institute, Poland, are essential for elaboration reliable procedures for the assessment of ultrasonic noise hazard and they have to bring to modernization and creation the corresponding standards in this field. In the presentation, some problems related to measurement procedures applied as well as to the interpretation of results essential for hazard assessment of ultrasonic noise impact on human body will be considered; in particular such cases where some procedures elaborated for audible noise assessment are being transferred to apply in the ultrasonic range without taking fully into account some specific aspects of the high frequency components of the noise.

Purpose. To define the principles for the formation of an effective institute of bankruptcy in the context of the economic security of business, to substantiate the model of the state's participation in the institutional design of bankruptcy in Ukraine. Methods. The analysis of the bankruptcy institute in the context of ensuring the economic security of the business is based on the institutional approach, methods of analysis, synthesis, and generalization. The substantiation of the model of the state's participation in the institutional design of bankruptcy in Ukraine was carried out on the basis of a comparative analysis of the bankruptcy institute in Ukraine and models of the bankruptcy institute in the USA, Germany and France. Results. Attention is focused on the priority importance of institutional changes in forming and developing bankruptcy legislation in the context of ensuring the economic security of business entities. Based on the results of the research, the principles of effective bankruptcy legislation are formulated: the goals and mechanisms for implementing insolvency legislation should be coordinated by the institutional environment formed in society; an important factor in the effectiveness of the bankruptcy institute is the balance of stakeholders' interests. Based on a comparative analysis of the bankruptcy institute in Ukraine and the formed models of the institute of bankruptcy in the United States, Germany and France, it has been proved that in the countries of catching-up development, which include Ukraine, there is no mechanism for automatically balancing the interests of stakeholders in carrying out the bankruptcy procedure. This necessitates the participation of the state in the institutional design of bankruptcy. It is substantiated that the model of the bankruptcy institute in Germany is the most appropriate for being implemented in Ukraine since it does not block the development of market institutes. Scientific novelty. There are proposed criteria for the effectiveness of the bankruptcy institute in the context of ensuring the economic security of business based on comparing the standards for ensuring the balance of stakeholders' interests in following the bankruptcy procedure and the institutional environment established in society. Practical significance. The results of the study form a theoretical basis for improving bankruptcy legislation and mechanisms for its enforcement from the standpoint of ensuring the economic security of business entities.

The method used by the researcher in collecting data in this research is direct observation, personal interview, questionnaire and documents. And the sample of the research that the researcher took in this research is the students in the high stage at Noor Al-Rashad Institute Al-Aziziyah, and their number is 35 students. As for the results of the research, they are: The application of the Arab Environment Program at the Nour Al-Rashad Al-Aziziya Institute is not complete, and the students’ ability at the Nour Al-Rashad Al-Aziziya Institute to speak skill after the implementation of the Arab Environment Program is good, and the evidence for it was in fact the students were able to deliver the sermon in Arabic and speak it in their daily lives and the students At Nour Al-Rashad Al-Aziziyah Institute, they face problems in speaking the Arabic language. The problems faced by students are the lack of memorizing vocabulary and the lack of understanding the correct Arabic method.
