Les th?ses de l?ancien Pr?sident de la R?publique Fran?aise sont d?embl?e reconduites aux st?r?otypes colonialistes, puis d?construites ? partir de l?invitation ? revenir sur cette page de l?histoire formul?e par Makhili Gassama, ancien conseilleur de Senghor. Tout en reconnaissant la complicit? d?une grosse partie des politiciens africains dans le partage et saccage de leur continent et dans les guerres qui les traversent, l?article veut contrecarrer le discours de Sarkozy par les paroles de trois repr?sentants les plus significatifs du panafricanisme: Kwame Nkrumah, Patrice Lumumba et Thomas Sankara. Molecular descriptors are essential in mathematical chemistry for studying quantitative structure–property relationships (QSPRs), and topological indices are a valuable source of information about molecular properties, such as size, cyclicity, branching degree, and symmetry. Graph theory has played a crucial role in the development of topological indices and dominating parameters for molecular descriptors. A molecule graph, under graph isomorphism conditions, represents an invariant number, and the graph theory approach considers dominating sets, which are subsets of the vertex set where every vertex outside the set is adjacent to at least one vertex inside the set. The dominating sigma index, a topological index that incorporates the mathematical principles of domination topological indices and the sigma index, is applicable to some families of graphs, such as book graphs and windmill graphs, and some graph operations, which have exact values for this new index. To evaluate the effectiveness of the domination sigma index in QSPR studies, a comparative analysis was conducted to establish an appropriate domination index that correlates with the physicochemical properties of octane and its isomers. Linear and non-linear models were developed using the QSPR approach to predict the properties of interest, and the results show that both the domination forgotten and domination first Zagreb indices exhibited satisfactory performance in comparison testing. Further research into QSAR/QSPR domination indices is required to build more robust models for predicting the physicochemical properties of organic compounds while maintaining the importance of symmetry.

A vertex subset D of a graph G = (V,E) is said to be a dominating set if every vertex in G is either in D or adjacent to some vertex in D. The minimum cardinality of such a set is the domination number, which is denoted as γ(G). In this paper, we define a sequence associated with the domination concept in graphs and studied the basic properties of the sequence in terms of various parameters of graphs. Using this sequence we order the vertices of a dominating set according its significance and propose Equally Significant Dominating (ESD) graphs. We also introduced domination related topological indices and compute their lower bounds for trees, unicyclic graphs and bicyclic graphs. All the graphs attaining the bounds are characterized.

Abstract The connected domination game on a graph G is played by Dominator and Staller according to the rules of the standard domination game with the additional requirement that at each stage of the game the selected vertices induce a connected subgraph of G. If Dominator starts the game and both players play optimally, then the number of vertices selected during the game is the connected game domination number of G. Here this invariant is studied on Cartesian product graphs. A general upper bound is proved and demonstrated to be sharp on Cartesian products of stars with paths or cycles. The connected game domination number is determined for Cartesian products of P3 with arbitrary paths or cycles, as well as for Cartesian products of an arbitrary graph with Kk for the cases when k is relatively large. A monotonicity theorem is proved for products with one complete factor. A sharp general lower bound on the connected game domination number of Cartesian products is also established.

We show that \(\gamma_{\rm tcg}(G) \in \{\gamma_{\rm cg}(G),\gamma_{\rm cg}(G) + 1,\gamma_{\rm cg}(G) + 2\}\), and consequently define \(G\) as Class \(i\) if \(\gamma_{\rm tcg}(G) = \gamma_{\rm cg} + i\) for \(i \in \{0,1,2\}\). A large family of Class \(0\) graphs is constructed which contains all connected Cartesian product graphs and connected direct product graphs with minumum degree at least \(2\). We show that no tree is Class \(2\) and characterize Class \(1\) trees. We provide an infinite family of Class \(2\) bipartite graphs.

AbstractThis article develops several concepts of critical geopolitics and relates them to the energy resources of the Caspian Region. Energy resources beyond borders may be accessed by trade, respectively by conquest, domination and changing property rights. These are the survival strategies of human groups in the international system. The article differentiates between demand-induced scarcity, supply-induced scarcity, structural scarcity and the creation, respectively, transfer of property rights. Together, the behaviors referred to by these concepts create a field of social forces that cross state borders involving state and a variety of non-state actors. During World War II, the US began to separate the military borders of the country from its legal-territorial borders. By dominating the world's oceans, the Anglo-Saxon power presided over the capacity to induce scarcity by interdicting maritime supplies to allies and enemies alike. Today, overland transport increasingly connects economies and energy supplies on the Eurasian continent. The US has therefore to go on land in order to pre-empt the land-based powers from unifying their economies and energy supplies.

Indeks keberlanjutan diukur untuk enam (6) dimensi keberlanjutan minapolitan, yang jenisnya ditetapkan berdasarkan pendalaman literatur: ekologi, ekonomi, politik, sosial-budaya, hukumkelembagaan, dan teknologi-infrastruktur. Data primer dari hasil mail survey ke 197 kabupaten/ kota dianalisis dengan teknik ordinasi Multidimensional Scalling (MDS) menggunakan perangkat RAP-Minapolitan, yang dimodifikasi dari perangkat RAPFISH (Rapid Appraisal for Fisheries). Analisis ini digunakan untuk menduga prospek keberlanjutan berdasarkan pengukuran variabel-variabel kini. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa indeks keberlanjutan program minapolitan untuk keenam dimensi adalah sebagai berikut : ekologi kurang berkelanjutan; ekonomi kurang berkelanjutan; politik sangat berkelanjutan; sosial-budaya cukup berkelanjutan; hukum-kelembagaan sangat berkelanjutan; teknologi-infrastruktur kurang berkelanjutan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa atribut pengungkit untuk masing-masing dimensi memerlukan prioritas kebijakan untuk meningkatkan peluang keberlanjutan program minapolitan. Tittle: Ex-ante Analysis of the Minapolitan Program SustainabilityThis research was conducted in August – December 2010, and aimed to (i) determine the sustainability index of minapolitan programs in locations referred to in the Ministerial Decree No. KEP 32/MEN/2010, (ii) identifying leverage factors (attributes), and (iii) formulate the relevant policy direction. The sustainability indexes were measured for six (6) minapolitan sustainability dimensions, based on literature reviews of ecology, economy, politics, social and culture, legal and institution, and technology and infrastructure dimensions. Primary data collected from the mail survey to 197 districts/municipalities listed in the decree were analysed following the multidimensional scalling (MDS) approach using the RAP-Minapolitan software, which was a modification of the RAPFISH (Rapid Appraisal for Fisheries) software. This analysis method can be used to assess sustainability prospects based on the measurement of current conditions of relevant variables. Results of this research show that the sustainability indice of the minapolitan program for the six dimension are: ecology less sustainable; economy less sustainable; politics very sustainable; social and culture fairly sustainable; legal and institution very sustainable; and technology and infrastructure (less sustainable). Results of this research show that leverage factors (attributes) of each dimension need prioritized policy to impove sustainability prospect of the minapolitan program. These are: distance between fisheries business center and residence complexes, business productivity (ecologic dimension); fishery human resources (economy dimension); state – region policy synchronization, trend of local politics and domination of particular political groups (political dimension); people access to fishery and customary community role (social-culture imension); availability of waste treatment facility (technology and infrastructure dimension).

Topological indices are numerical parameters of a graph that characterize its molecular topology and are usually graph invariant. In a QSAR/QSPR study, the physico-chemical properties and topological indices such as the Randić, atom–bond connectivity (ABC), and geometric–arithmetic (GA) indices are used to predict the bioactivity of chemical compounds. Graph theory has found a considerable use in this important area of research. All of the studied interconnection networks in this paper are constructed by the Star of David network. In this paper, we study the general Randić, first Zagreb, ABC, GA, ABC4 and GA5, indices for the first, second, and third types of dominating David derived networks and give closed formulas of these indices for these networks. These results are useful in network science to understand the underlying topologies of these networks.

Graph theory is a discrete branch of mathematics for designing and predicting a network. Some topological invariants are mathematical tools for the analysis of connection properties of a particular network. The Cellular Neural Network (CNN) is a computer paradigm in the field of machine learning and computer science. In this article we have given a close expression to dominating invariants computed by the dominating degree for a cellular neural network. Moreover, we have also presented a 3D comparison between dominating invariants and classical degree-based indices to show that, in some cases, dominating invariants give a better correlation on the cellular neural network as compared to classical indices.

A topological index is a numerical descriptor of the molecular structure based on certain topological features of the corresponding molecular graph. Topological indices are scientific contemplations of a graph that outline its subatomic topology and are graph-invariant. In a QSAR/QSPR study, topological indices are utilized to anticipate the physico-concoction resources and bioactivity of compounds. In this paper, we study some distance-based topological indices such as eccentric connectivity index (ECI), total eccentricity index (TEI), and eccentricity-based Zagreb index for dominating David-derived networks (DD network) and provide exact formulae of the said indices. These outcomes are valuable to organize the science of hidden topologies of this network.

The Randić index is among the most famous degree-based topological indices in chemical graph theory. It was introduced due to its application in modeling the properties of certain molecular structures and has been extensively studied. In this paper, we study the lower bound of the Randić index of trees in terms of the order and the total domination number. Finally, trees with the minimal Randić index are characterized.

AbstractThere is a strong relationship between the chemical characteristics of chemical compounds and their molecular structures. Topological indices are numerical values associated with the chemical molecular graphs that help to understand the physical features, chemical reactivity, and biological activity of chemical compound. Thus, the study of the topological indices is important. M-polynomial helps to recover many degree-based topological indices for example Zagreb indices, Randic index, symmetric division idex, inverse sum index etc. In this article we compute M-polynomials of dominating David derived networks of the first type, second type and third type of dimension n and find some topological properties by using these M-polynomials. The results are plotted using Maple to see the dependence of topological indices on the involved parameters.

Topological indices are numerical parameters of a graph that characterize its topology and are usually graph invariant. In a QSAR/QSPR study, physicochemical properties and topological indices such as Randić, atom–bond connectivity (ABC), and geometric–arithmetic (GA) indices are used to predict the bioactivity of chemical compounds. Graph theory has found a considerable use in this area of research. In this paper, we study different interconnection networks and derive analytical closed results of the general Randić index (Rα(G)) for α = 1, [Formula: see text], –1, [Formula: see text] only, for dominating oxide network (DOX), dominating silicate network (DSL), and regular triangulene oxide network (RTOX). All of the studied interconnection networks in this paper are motivated by the molecular structure of a chemical compound, SiO4. We also compute the general first Zagreb, ABC, GA, ABC4, and GA5 indices and give closed formulae of these indices for these interconnection networks.

The fall of the Soviet Bloc started the process of change in global power relations. The existing two powers model was replaced by a new order. Only USA kept their dominating position. Russia was severely weakened and position of countries such as China and Brazil, as well as that of organizations such as European Union, grew stronger. India is also considered a country that can in near future become one of the countries that decide the fates of the World. This fact leads to the question whether in foreseeable future India will become a power and enter the elite group of states that dominate in international affairs. The questions is even more interesting as until recently the attention of media and scientist was concentrated on China as future power. These are the reason why analysis of all the factors that can decide the fate of international position of India is of tremendous importance.

The benthic macroinvertebrate communities along with the physicochemical variables in Bougara dam waters (Nahr Ouassel river) downstream of a dam North-western of Algeria, were recorded from three sampling sites during January to May 2022. All the physicochemical parameters were highest in the first station (temperature, pH, conductivity, BOD and COD) while they were slightly lower in the second station and low in the third station. A total of 13 species, belonging to 10 families of 7 orders of benthic macroinvertebrates were recorded. With a great domination of insects. The maximum density of benthic fauna was recorded from the site nearest to the dam exit. These results were confirmed by the benthic indices of macroinvertebrates where the recommendations are to clean the first highly polluted station and to keep monitoring the other remaining stations moderately polluted.

Imperialism emerged in the late 19th century. Europe's supremacy in various areas of life which led to the view that Europe is above other parts of the world that are uncivilized and culturally fell behind, and that needed to be civilized. This attitude lead to negative phenomena such as racism - contesting the rights of other races and colonialism - conquering territories inhabitated by people of other cultures. The world seen from an imperialist perspective was most often the one colonized by Europe, postcolonial research has critized the way in which European colonial powers (especially England and France) created values of subordinate cultures and established relations between center and margins. However, the notion of discursive domination is spread quickly to all relations between colonizers and colonized, which is why this second group includes all gender and ethic groups that did not have cultural independece, but were marginalized and subjected to institutional repression. As different cultural minorities began to form resistance to agressive political, gender, and racial domination, postcolonialism also represents a disagreement with the passivity towards cultural supremacy which is symbolized in empires that no longer even existed. The novel A Passage to India represents Forster's interests in Indian culture, which was colonized by Great Britain. A Passage to India is an exploration of the spiritual and cultural contrast of the two cultures of East and West.

In mathematical chemistry, the topological indices with highly correlation factor play a leading role specifically for developing crucial information in QSPR/QSAR analysis. Recently, there exists a new graph invariant, namely, Y -index of graph proposed by Alameri as the sum of the fourth power of each and every vertex degree of that graph. The approximate range of the descriptors is determined by obtaining the bounds for the topological indices of graphs. In this paper, firstly, some upper bounds for the Y -index on trees with several types of domination number are studied. Secondly, some new bounds are also presented for this index of graphs in terms of relevant parameters with other topological indices. Additionally, a new idea on bounds for the Y -index by applying binary graph operations is computed.

Periodical field surveys were conducted in bitter gourd fields at weekly intervals in two locations at N. Poolampatti village, Vaiyampatti block, Tiruchirapalli district to study the diversity of insects visiting bitter gourd flowers. During the study 51 species of flower visitors/ pollinators were recorded which include 19 species of Hymenoptera, 15 species of Lepidoptera, seven species of Diptera and six species of Coleoptera. Tetragonula iridipennis was the most abundant pollinator followed by Apis florea, Halictus sp. and Apis cerana indica; while Syrphus ribesii was the dominating Dipteran pollinator. Among the Lepidopterans, Pachliopta hector was the major pollinator followed by Danaus chrysippus, Tirumala limniace and Delias eucharis. Species richness (S) was at its maximum (26 species) at 0800 – 1000 hours and minimum (07 species) at 1600-1800 hours. Shannon’s and Simpson’s diversity indices were maximum at 1000-1200 hours with 2.52 and 9.13 respectively. Shannon’s evenness ranged from 0.44 – 0.86 and Simpson’s evenness was 0.28 – 0.54 with maximum at 1000-1200 hours.

The purpose of this monograph is to initiate the idea of a multi polar q-rung orthopair fuzzy graphs (m-PqROPFG) as a fusion of multi polar fuzzy graphs and q-rung orthopair fuzzy graphs. Moreover, for a vertex of multi polar q-rung orthopair fuzzy graphs, the degree and total degree of the vertex are defined. Then, some product operations, inclusive of direct, Cartesian, semi strong, strong lexicographic products, and the union of multi polar q-rung orthopair fuzzy graphs (m-PqROPFGs), are obtained. Also, at first we define some degree based fuzzy topological indices of m-PqROPFG. Then, we compute Zareb indices of the first and second kind, Randic indices, and harmonic index of a m-PqROPFG.

Previous research has shown a substantial correlation between a chemical compound’s molecular structure and its chemical characteristics. Understanding the physical characteristics and biological functions of biomolecules can be improved with the aid of topological indices based on their molecular structure. Eccentricity-connectivity indices, which describe molecular structures based on distance, have been applied to the mathematical modelling of a wide range of biological activities. In this article, we compute the exact formulae of various versions of the eccentricity-connectivity index for first type of Dominating David-derived network. The findings can be applied to computer-aided molecular design methods in pharmaceutical engineering.

It is established hat changing of parameters of student’s electrocardiogram during the exam are shown by shortening of the intervals RR, QT, PQ, and the complex QRS, thus expressiveness of reactions dominates in sample of lefthanders and ambidexters. The values of wave parameters of heart rate variability, including spectral power of heart rate fluctuations in different frequency ranges, increase in left-handers, while ambidexterity and right handed down. The values of statistical indices of HRV, including SDNN, RMSSD and mode cardio intervals in students during the exam are reduced, and also to a greater extent, and ambidexterity for lefties. These changes corresponded to increasing trend of the index and the activity coefficient Baevsky sympathetic nervous system, indicating a greater intensity of regulatory mechanisms in individuals with left profile of motor domination.

UDK: 574.587(282.249 Drinjača)”2012” More and more intensive unplanned use of water resources in Europe and beyond, have turned the efforts for stopping exploitation and reduction of available freshwater ecosystems. According to the provisions of the Water Framework Directive (WFD), biotic parameters, especially the benthos organisms (zoological component) gives the greatest significance in the appropriate way of identifying the ecological status and typology. This paper presents the application of different biotic indices in assessing the ecological status of the river Drinjača. The analysis reveals a high diversity in the composition of phytobenthos and macrozoobenthos with domination of preimaginal stage of aquatic insects. Acoording to the indices applied, water of the river Drinjača at locations upstream and downstream of the confluence of Jadar is oligo to betamesosaprobic. A high ecological status has been determined by applying biotic indices on the macrozoobenthos composition ehich takes this part of the stream as referent to all other waterstreams of the same type on the territory of Bosnia and Herzeogovina.

Abstract The objective of the work reported here was to determine the relationship between herbicide rate and the biodiversity of weed communities in potato cultivated in continuous cropping. A seven-year field experiment was conducted to examine the effect of 4 metribuzin rates and an uncontrol on weed infestation in successive years of continuous potato cultivation. The following indices were calculated: the Shannon-Wiener and Simpson’s indices of species diversity and the Simpson’s index of domination. A total of 33 species were recorded in the experimental plots. Echinochoa crus-galli was the dominant species. The most abundant segetal communities were observed in untreated plots. An application of the herbicide reduced the biodiversity of the agrophytocenosis. Cultivation in continuous cropping increased the species number of the weed community in potato. The herbicide and cultivation in continuous cropping did not significantly affect the biodiversity indices but their values, to a great extent, confirmed the trends revealed by the analysis of weed infestation

The Bharatiyakaran advocates assert that their initiatives of de-colonisation, Indianisation and indigenisation would challenge the Eurocentric domination of the Indian social work. While indigenisation of social work in India is overdue, the current Bharatiyakaran trend raises more contradictions and questions.
