The studies were performed to improve workflow of hydraulic automatic control systems of the tillage units. Tillage quality should not deteriorate. Working bodies of tillage machines have to be moved automatically. Automated devices can be separated into two groups: direct and indirect action. It is preferable to indirect action. The article presents analysis of automatic devices used into tillage machines. Automatic control systems can be hydraulic, electro-hydraulic and pneumatic. Mechanical systems are not effective. Hydraulic systems are cheaper electric and pneumatic. They provide best of energy and quality indicators of technological process of tillage. Automatic control systems are uses draft forces, hitch position, depth of the implement, speed, acceleration and other sensors. Method of computer modeling and optimization of hydraulic automatic control systems of tillage units was developed. Results of computer modeling of hydraulic automatic control systems help to select direction of improving quality and energy indicators of technological process of tillage. Optimized combine implement depth and draft control system of arable unit allow reducing deviation the draft force of the plow; deviation of the depth of plowing is equal to or smaller than agro-technical requirements. Deviation of the draft force was decreased to 13.5 % for deviation specific soil resistance - 20 %, depth of plowing - 0.21 m, deviation of the depth of plowing - 0.019 m (9 %). Deviation of the depth of plowing may be decreased to 0.010 m (4,8 %), but deviation of the draft force shell be increased up to 16.2%. Optimized hydraulic automatic control system of garden tiller with a trapezoidal mechanism leaves smaller untreated soil area from 1.37-1.46 times.

At the current stage of the development of means for automatic control for the formation of qualitative systems of machines, construction and road machinery, railway transport there are used electro-hydraulic devices transforming electric input signals into hydraulic output power. To carry out a generalized analysis and for the fulfillment of the preliminary synthesis of an automated hydraulic system on the whole the static and dynamic characteristics of its separate units should be obtained. In the paper there is presented a calculation of a theoretical dynamic characteristic of the electro-hydraulic nozzle-flap converter to substantiate potentialities of its inclusion as an adjusting device acting upon rods of a high-pressure fuel pump in the system of fuel feeding control of a KamAZ motor-car engine. At that the converter was considered as interconnected units: a unit of feedback. The methods of the investigation of processes in the converter are based on the fundamentals of the theory of automatic control. As it follows from the transition function diagram obtained as a result of the investigations carried out the transition time of a electro-hydraulic converter slide valve movement from a neutral position into an extreme one in the course of sending a maximum control signal to the coil does not exceed 1.1 sec, that is satisfactory for the formation of hydraulic drive control systems.

Face throttles are a necessary functional element of non-contact face seals and automatic balancing devices of centrifugal pumps of different constructions. To calculate the hydrodynamic forces and moments acting on the rotor and fluid flow through the automatic balancing device, it is necessary to know the pressure distribution in the cylindrical and face throttle when considering all important factors which predetermine fluid flow. The face throttle surfaces are moving, which leads to unsteady fluid flow. The movement of the walls of the face throttle causes an additional circumferential and radial flow, which subsequently leads to the additional hydrodynamic pressure components. The paper analyses viscous incompressible fluid flow in the face throttle of an automatic balancing device taking into account the axial and angular displacements of throttle’s surfaces and the inertia component of the fluid. The effect of local hydraulic losses as well as random changes in the coefficients of local hydraulic resistance at the inlet and outlet of the throttle is analysed.

A hydraulic excavator has a number of devices attached, the operating speeds of which are important performance indicators for performance evaluation and end-of-line inspection. This paper proposes an online and low-cost detection method to estimate the operating speed based on the peak detection of the main pump outlet pressure. A pressure sensor is installed on the main pump discharge point of a hydraulic excavator to collect real-time pressure data during operation. Then the wavelet method is deployed to denoise the obtained pressure data so that two special peak points are captured as start and end points for accurately estimating the operating time and speed of excavator devices. The proposed system is used for end-of-line inspection and performance evaluation of hydraulic excavators. Experimental results from 510 groups of data show that the proposed method can achieve a high success rate of 95.1%, and a high detection efficiency that is 60% faster than manual measurement.

Then industrial control technologies are used, such as DC digital controller, touch screen, photoelectric-interrupter type position sensor.

The article is devoted to the consideration of the main problems of mathematical modeling and the most rational presentation of the results of numerical research of hydro-mechanical regulators of aircraft at the stage of practical design. Traditionally, the analysis and synthesis of hydraulic automation devices of aviation systems are performed on the basis of linear frequency methods of the theory of automatic control, which allow us to obtain approximate characteristics: accuracy, stability, controllability. The main task in this case is to develop such assumptions and solutions that would allow solving the problem in an analytical form. However, the number of nonlinear problems completed by analytical methods is negligible. In such a situation, computer modeling becomes an alternative. Mechanization and partial automation of the computational experiment led to qualitative changes in the simulation results and allowed us to obtain generalized diagrams of the dynamic state of the studied systems. Using a specific example, the issues of algorithmic modeling, analysis and numerical study of the dynamic characteristics of the automatic control system of aircraft on transient modes are considered. The paper clearly demonstrates how the application of the generalized variables method helps to present the results of numerical experiments in a rational form and to determine the influence of parametric complexes on the main characteristics and to construct generalized dynamic characteristics according to the main quality criteria

Terminal cutting machine is an automatic device that can realize automatic feeding, bending, cutting the middle carry, shearing. It can be easily integrated with other automatic devices to form a whole production line. In this paper, the cam mechanism is used to realize bending and cutting the middle carry, hydraulic drive structure is used to realize terminal feeding and cutting. A reasonable working time sequence among various processes is necessary to ensure the right working order and avoid the interference. The point of the control is to know which processing step it is by using photoelectric sensors to detect several key positions of the cam. The detecting signal is received by the PLC and hence from there to control all processing steps executed in an ordered and cyclic matter. The timing sequence solution introduced in this paper has been successfully implemented in a terminal cutting machine.

The method used to design the hydraulic system uses a flowchart, The hardware used includes Arduino Uno, Ultrasonic Sensors, Motor-drive (DC), Lamp LED, buzzer and several other electronic devices. The design of the hardware using the Arduino Uno as a medium to instill the program and software design were performed using of Arduino . Automatic control is intended to avoid damage to the goods caused by flooding.

Abstract Automatic gearbox gains increasing popularity in Europe. Little interest in diagnosis of such type of transmission in Poland results from the fact of small share in the whole market of operated cars, so there is a lack of availability of special diagnostic devices. These factors cause issues of expensive repairs, often involving a replacement of subassembly to new or aftermarket one. To a small extent some prophylactic diagnostic tests are conducted, which can eliminate future gearbox system failures. In the paper, the proposition of diagnostic system of popular A - 604 gearbox was presented. The authors are seeking for the possibility of using such type of devices to functional elaboration of gearboxes after renovation. The built system pursues the drive of the researched object, connected with simulated load, where special controller, replacing the original one, is responsible for controlling gearbox operation. This way is used to evaluate the mechanic and hydraulic parts' state. Analysis of signal runs, registered during measurements lets conclude about operation correctness, where as comparison with stock data verifies the technical state of an automatic gearbox.

Grounded prerequisites for the development and creation of a physical model of protection of cable lines and radio electronic means of state and industrial objects from external electromagnetic influence in the conditions of emergency prevention.It is determined that the theoretical prerequisites for modeling include the condition of protection, which is the need to ensure complete neutralization of the electromagnetic impact energy, as the main factor in maintaining the proper technical condition of cable lines and radio electronic means. The second prerequisite for the creation of the model is the functional analogy between electricity and pneumatic (hydraulic), which is the basis for the development of protection of cable lines and RES in the direction of replacement of the most vulnerable electrical devices to pneumatic devices (hydraulic), which electrical and jet pneumatic (hydraulic) devices. They will also be linked through energy conversion.The basic scheme of physical model of protection of cable lines and radio electronic means in the conditions of emergency prevention at state and industrial objects connected with external electromagnetic influence, which unlike the existing ones, is created by replacement of separate electronic measuring systems by digital and analog streaming computations Pneumatic devices (hydro-automatic) devices and fiber-optic materials are used to create protection of communication channels. The proposed physical model will allow us to investigate changes in the technical condition of cable lines and electronic equipment in the event of emergency situations at state and industrial sites related to external electromagnetic effects.

With the research and development of a university in hydraulic dynamometer test, we designed a lower machine based on PLC, and giving the power distribution cabinet, electrical and mechanical control system combined with King View software, SIEMENS WINCC software. This study has hand and automatic operation, sensor measuring tank pressure, the measured current measurement power motor, the measurement results sent to our remote devices by Profibus-dp, such as the design of computer use (PC) and remote operation apparatus (Chu Moping). Due to frequency converter is circular soft starting control structure, the motor has no impact at the time of the launch, and stable performance is good, this can improve the service life of the motor and pump greatly.

Automatic hydraulic ram pumps are environmentally friendly devices using a renewable energy resource to pump water for domestic or agricultural use. Since being superseded by pumps using electrical or fossil fuel energy nearly a century ago, they are now coming back into favour in many parts of the developing world. In the past, hydraulic ram pumps have been designed by rules-of-thumb having limited scientific basis. On-site adjustment has been used in the hope of rectifying the inevitable shortcomings of this process and ideal performance is rarely achieved. The present proposal for optimum design allows relevant system parameters (including the beat frequency) to be selected prior to installation. The paper shows how a ram pump system may be designed using two simple equations containing empirical factors dependent upon ram size, delivery head, material and wall thickness of the drive pipe and the configuration of the impulse valve. The design method is illustrated with reference to a number of existing tests. New experimental results for a 53 mm ram with five different impulse valve strokes are also presented.

The technologies of superhard materials production, including those for industrial synthesis of diamond and cubic boron nitride at high pressure and high temperature conditions, depend on the operator experience. Moreover, these manually operated processes usually vary in terms of yield and quality of the final product. Owing to the design and construction methods of conventional high pressure devices (HPD), it has not yet been possible to adapt computerized systems for both research and industrial production. In this work, the synthesis of superhard materials was treated as a guided problem under uncertain pressure, temperature, time, and electrical power conditions using the theory of automatic commanded systems. This concept was applied to develop an automatic control for the hydraulic presses that generate the necessary force for the high pressure, based on variable sensors associated with computer programs that command the conditions inside the HPD.

A mechanical support in a longwall complex requires proper supervision and control of operating parameters because it is responsible for the safety of machines and workers. Its main functions are to protect the excavation against the adverse effects of rock mass and to move it along with the operational progress of the shearer and the scraper conveyor. In the era of Industry 4.0 as well as green economy and sustainable development, the development of machines and devices included in the longwall complex is an important area of invention. When it comes to the mechanical support included in the longwall complex, the authors propose changes to the hydraulic control system. The main purpose of the work was to develop a system that can automatically expand the legs of the powered support. Tests were carried out under real conditions while equipping the support section with a prototypical hydraulic system and with a system monitoring the correct operation of the prototype. This article presents the development of a prototypical installation under real conditions for testing on a longwall. The innovative solution proposed by the authors consisted of introducing a prototypical double valve block into the hydraulic system of the housing, which enables the function of automatic section expansion. The authors proposed a solution aimed at shortening the work time of the powered-support-section operator. The research results made it possible to evaluate the usefulness of the proposed solution. This type of solution can be considered technical support in the process of coal mining in an underground mine. Analysis presented in this paper, along with results from research conducted and its conclusions, can be of practical help to enclosure users to improve reliability and achieve optimal performance.

A powered longwall mining system comprises three basic machines: a shearer, a scraper (longwall) conveyor, and a powered roof support. The powered roof support as a component of a longwall complex has two functions. It protects the working from roof rocks that fall to the area where the machines and people work and transports the machines and devices in the longwall as the mining operation proceeds further into the seam by means of hydraulic actuators that are adequately connected to the powered support. The actuators are controlled by a hydraulic or electro-hydraulic system. The tests and analyses presented in the developed procedure are oriented towards the possibility of introducing automatic control, without the participation of an operator. This is important for the exploitation of seams that are deposited at great depths. The primary objective was to develop a comprehensive methodology for testing and evaluating the possibility of using the system under operating conditions. The conclusions based on the analysis presented are a valuable source of information for the designers in terms of increasing the efficiency of the operation of the system and improving occupational safety. The authors have proposed a procedure for testing and evaluation to introduce an automatic control system into the operating conditions. The procedure combines four areas. Tests and analyses were carried out in order to determine the extent to which the system could be potentially used in the future. The presented solution includes certification and executive documentation.

Service quality and efficiency of urban systems have been dramatically boosted by various high technologies for real-time monitoring and remote control, and have also gained privileged space in water distribution. Monitored hydraulic and quality parameters are crucial data for developing planning, operation and security analyses in water networks, which makes them increasingly reliable. However, devices for monitoring and remote control also increase the possibilities for failure and cyber-attacks in the systems, which can severely impair the system operation and, in extreme cases, collapse the service. This paper proposes an automatic two-step methodology for cyber-attack detection in water distribution systems. The first step is based on signal-processing theory, and applies a fast Independent Component Analysis (fastICA) algorithm to hydraulic time series (e.g., pressure, flow, and tank level), which separates them into independent components. These components are then processed by a statistical control algorithm for automatic detection of abrupt changes, from which attacks may be disclosed. The methodology is applied to the case study provided by the Battle of Attack Detection Algorithms (BATADAL) and the results are compared with seven other approaches, showing excellent results, which makes this methodology a reliable early-warning cyber-attack detection approach.

Electro-Hydraulic Servo-Actuators (EHSAs) are mainly used to command primary flight control surfaces in military and commercial aircraft. Since these devices are crucial for vehicle stability and maneuverability, a correct assessment of their health status is mandatory. Within this framework, a joint research project (HyDiag), held by Politecnico di Torino and Lufthansa Technik AG (LHT), aims to provide a more efficient and reliable procedure to determine the operating conditions of the EHSA. A smart and automatic sequence, able to extract several health features of the Unit Under Test (UUT), has been developed and integrated. The present paper discusses the implementation of a collaborative robot, equipped with a vision system and customized tools, for both health features extraction, and maintenance tasks on unserviceable servo-actuators. The main challenges related to the automation of such complex tasks in a real working environment are highlighted, togetherwith the advantages brought by the proposed approach. The paper also presents the first results of an ongoing experimental campaign. Specifically, it reports the enhancements of the maintenance procedures using collaborative robotics and possible future developments.

Although many devices have recently been proposed for pressure regulation and energy harvesting in water distribution and transport networks, very few applications are still documented in the scientific literature. A new in-line Banki turbine with positive outflow pressure and a mobile regulating flap, named Power Recovery System (PRS), was installed and tested in a real water transport network for the regulation of pressure and flow rate. The PRS turbine was directly connected to a 55 kW asynchronous generator with variable rotational velocity, and coupled to an inverter. The start-up tests showed how automatic adjustment of the flap position and the runner velocity variation are able to change the characteristic curve of the PRS according to the flow delivered by the water manager or to the pressure set-point assigned downstream or upstream of the system, maintaining good efficiency values in hydropower production.

Clutch-to-clutch shift technology is a key enabler for fast and smooth gear shift process for multi gear transmissions. However, conventional hydraulic actuation systems for clutches have drawbacks of low efficiency, oil leakage and inadequate robustness. Electromechanical devices offer potential alternative actuators. In this paper, a novel motor driven wedge-based clutch actuator, featuring self-reinforcement, is proposed. The design concept and physical structure are thoroughly described. Dynamic models for the actuation system and vehicle powertrain are validated by experiments. Upshift and downshift processes at different engine throttle openings, clutch clearances and friction coefficients are discussed. The results show that, the self-reinforcement ratio is tested as 9.6; at the same time, the shift quality is comparable to that of the conventional hydraulic actuated clutch in automatic transmissions in terms of the shift duration (about 1 s) and vehicle jerk (<10 m/s3). Taking advantage of fast response of the actuation DC motor, the wedge-based actuator is robust dealing with uncertain clutch clearance and friction coefficient. Therefore, the wedge-based clutch actuator has potential to provide acceptable performance for clutch-to-clutch shift.

The ways of solving the problem of adaptive and robust control with the standard mathematical model of linear stationary objects by output, which are of great theoretical and applied importance and have been the subject of research in recent years, are considered. The functional structure of the intelligent adaptive ground control system of technical facilities of the hydraulic well-flushing system is developed, which integrates methods of adaptive and robust control, where the adaptive part of the system in the conditions of uncertainty can change the algorithms of operation, structure and parameters of the controller due to additional devices the holes that allow you to adapt to changing working conditions in a timely manner, and the robust system guarantees the required system quality regardless of errors and min parameters of the system because it has a sensitivity remains stable, functioning in a wide range of uncertainty. For the terrestrial elements of the technical hydraulic system for flushing wells, which are considered as objects with concentrated parameters, a phenomenological model is developed, which is based on a holistic approach. The model is formed in the field of Laplace image in time and in dimensionless form as a system of differential equations at zero initial conditions, which accordingly allows to use this model to synthesize the transfer functions of the inverters of local automatic control systems. The methods of control of elements of technical hydraulic system of flushing of wells are offered, based on the use of the developed model and structure of the intelligent system with elements of robust and adaptive control.

Objective. The objective of the study is to determine the requirements for various devices of hydraulic reclamation machines, which are widely used in the construction of canals and drains, to maintain a given slope, as well as the calculation of the executive mechanism that serves to eliminate the oscillating movement of the working body relative to the line of the specified slope.Methods. A mathematical description of the vibrations of the working body for caterpillar hydraulic reclamation machines with mounted working bodies is given.Results. The article presents the results of research to identify the main factors affecting the oscillations of the working body of caterpillar reclamation machines. As a result of theoretical and experimental studies, it was found that when a caterpillar machine with a rigid undercarriage crosses single and multiple irregularities, the movement of the cutting edge of the rigidly mounted working body is graphically depicted by sinusoidal curves. The obtained dependencies allow conducting calculations of the automatic system of maintaining the specified slope and establish the area of stable modes of system operation. A geometric method for optimizing the hinge linkage of the working body of trenchless pipelayer is presented.Conclusion. The proposed methods of improving the performance of caterpillar hydraulic reclamation machines with mounted working bodies when moving on uneven ground surfaces can be used to create a wide class of mounted earthmoving machines, both with passive and active working bodies.

Widely developed DH systems in Lithuanian towns and small settlements undergo modernisations aimed to increase their efficiency and heat supply quality. Typically, modernisations include the replacement of building heat substations, the reduction of heat losses in pipes and more efficient heat production, including the use of indigenous fuel resources. It was notified that new heat substations equipped with automatic heating control devices have backward impact on the technological parameters of DH networks. Modelling tools for simulation of hydraulic and thermal parameters in the network allow estimating of potential deviation of heat carrier temperature with loading variations not only during the season of the year, but also over day and night. Special technical measures can be taken to avoid unduly low heat carrier supply temperatures and violation of hot water supply quality requirements. Cost estimation of such measures versus the option of full network renovation is presented in the article.

Abstract. Construction of cavities in the subsurface is always accompanied by excavation damage. Especially in the context of deep geological nuclear waste disposal, the evolving excavation damaged zone (EDZ) in the near field of emplacement tunnels is of utmost importance concerning safety aspects. As the EDZ differs from the intact host rock due to enhanced hydraulic transmissivity and altered geomechanical behavior, reasonable and location-dependent input data on hydraulic and mechanical properties are crucial. Thus, in this study, a hydromechanical characterization of an EDZ in the Mont Terri underground rock laboratory, Switzerland, was performed using three different handheld devices: (1) air permeameter, (2) microscopic camera and (3) needle penetrometer. The discrete fracture network (DFN), consisting of artificially induced unloading joints and reactivated natural discontinuities, was investigated by a portable air permeameter and combined microscopic imaging with automatic evaluation. Geomechanical and geophysical characterization of the claystone was conducted based on needle penetrometer testing at the exposed rock surface. Within the EDZ, permeable fractures with a mean hydraulic aperture of 84 ± 23 µm are present. Under open conditions, self-sealing of fractures is suppressed, and cyclic long-term fracture aperture oscillations in combination with closure resulting from convergence processes is observed. Based on measured needle penetration indices, a uniaxial compressive strength of 30 ± 13 MPa (normal to bedding) and 18 ± 8 MPa (parallel to bedding) was determined. Enhanced strength and stiffness are directly related to near-surface desaturation of the claystone and a sharp decrease in water content from 6.6 wt % to 3.7 wt %. The presented methodological approach is particularly suitable for time-dependent monitoring of EDZs since measurements are nondestructive and do not change the actual state of the rock mass. This allows for a spatially resolved investigation of hydraulic and mechanical fracture apertures, fracture surface roughness, and physico-mechanical rock parameters and their intra-facies variability.

Abstract A reliable water distribution network (WDN) can provide an adequate supply service to customers under both normal and abnormal working conditions. The WDN reliability analysis, therefore, is a keystone to improve the supply service efficiency. Strategies for reliability analysis are usually proved on small WDNs, which do not compare with large real complex systems in terms of number of water tanks, pressure reduction valves, variable speed pumps, controlled devices and possible alternative water supply schemes. The topological changes due to pipeline interruptions impact on emptying–filling of water tanks and network pressure status. This work proposes a two-level procedure for mechanical reliability assessment, suited for large real WDNs. It leverages a path/connectivity-based approach to set up reliability indicators for global-level analysis and local screening of the most critical scenarios. The employed advanced hydraulic model includes the automatic detection of topological changes and the robust modelling of water level in tanks using the generalized global gradient algorithm. The extended period simulation enables the reliability assessment of alternative water supply schemes and the sensitivity of tanks and controlled devices to single failure events. The procedure is demonstrated on a real complex network, being consistent with the ongoing digital transition in the WDN management sector.

Abstract The development process of augmented reality generally requires devices and software with high compatibility so that they are the only obstacles in its development. The purpose of this study was to design and produce an application of learning media on the hydraulic cylinder of excavator based on augmented reality with Shapr3d for prospective students of automotive engineering education and to see the product feasibility level of the test subjects and validators. This learning media development stage consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. For the data method using direct observation and closed questionnaires. The questionnaire of the research results was analysed using Likert scale analysis. The results of the material expert validator with a score of 91.25% are very good category. Expert media design validator 92.5% is included in the very good category with a very proper name. The response to product use from three lecturers of automotive engineering education with a proportion score of 88.34% is in the very good category. The response to the use of the product was from twenty automotive engineering education students with a score proportion of 85.73% in the very good category. This that the application of automatic learning media on excavator hydraulic cylinder based on augmented reality with shapr3d based on Augmented Reality technology that has been developed can be used in elementary schools as a learning media for technical education.

The main design features of single-pipe systems with vertical wiring, the reasons for their low efficiency, which include: physical and moral obsolete equipment and pipeline valves, lack of automatic control and regulation of coolant supply, low efficiency of heating devices, are characterized. Using the methodology according to DSTU B V.2.6-189-2013 and DSTU B A.2.2-12: 2015, the effectiveness of the introduction of automatic balancing of the heating system was first investigated, and then the effect of shading of external enclosing structures on the energy consumption of the university building, taking into account the existing state of external enclosing structures ... It has been established that balancing the heating system makes it possible to reduce the specific energy consumption for heating by 7.6%, and to reduce the energy consumption of the heating system by 164.8 MWh. The influence of the shading of external enclosing structures on the energy consumption of the building of the university is estimated, taking into account the existing state of the external enclosing structures in the absence of balancing the heating system of the building. It is shown that it leads to an insignificant excess of energy consumption for heating by 0.3 % or 6.6 MWh. It has been proven that the energy consumption of a building, taking into account the shading coefficient after balancing the heating system, can reduce the specific energy consumption for heating by 7.9 %, and reduce the energy consumption of the heating system by 165.4 MWh. Assessing the effect of shading of external enclosing structures "before" and "after" balancing the heating system of the university building, it can be argued that the energy consumption of the heating system has been reduced by 158.8 MWh or by 7.7 %. Displacements or deformations of materials or structures are measured with linear variable differential transducers (LVDT), fibre optic sensors, laser sensors, and confocal sensor systems, while strains are measured with electro-resistant tensometers or wire strain gauges. Measurements significantly limited to a point or a small area are the obvious disadvantage of these measurements. Such disadvantages are eliminated by performing measurements with optical techniques, such as digital image correlation (DIC) or electronic speckle pattern interferometry (ESPI). Many devices applied to optical measurements only record test results and do not cooperate with the system that exerts and controls load. This paper describes the procedure for preparing a test stand involving the Digital Image Correlation system ARAMIS 6M for remote-controlled loading. The existing hydraulic power pack (ZWICK-ROELL) was adapted by installing the modern NI cRIO-9022 controller operating under its own software developed within the LABVIEW system. The application of the DIC techniques to directly control load on the real structure is the unquestionable innovation of the described solution. This led to the elimination of errors caused by the test stand susceptibility and more precise relations between load and displacements/strains which have not been possible using the previous solutions. This project is a synergistic and successful combination of civil engineering, computer science, automatic control engineering and electrical engineering that provides a new solution class. The prepared stand was tested using two two-span, statically non-determinable reinforced concrete beams loaded under different conditions (force or displacement). The method of load application was demonstrated to affect the redistribution of bending moments. The conducted tests confirmed the suitability of the applied technique for the remote controlling and recording of test results. Regardless of the load control method (with force or displacement), convergent results were obtained for the redistribution of bending moments. Force-controlled rotation of the beam section over the support was over 50% greater than rotation of the second beam controlled with an increase in the displacement.

The adequacy of a real physical object simulator is particularly significant in the problems of operation when there is a possibility for the immediate comparison and analysis of computational and actual values of model parameters. Modern absorbing devices for rollingstock automatic coupling are described thoroughly with the aid of various simulators, but the adequacy results of these simulators insufficient. In the course of investigations there were created specified simulators of modern shock isolators. The simulator parameters are identified on basis of experimental researches of fullscale samples. The experiments were carried out simultaneously with mathematical modeling and included static tests on hydraulic press PMM-250 and dynamic tests on shock tableincline BSTU-BS3. For the computation of identifiable parameters there was used a criterion function which defined the rate of divergence in an experiment and computed model on a travel and force. As a criterion function the criterion of a root-mean-square deviation of force and travel from experimental behavior was used. According to the in-vestigations carried out there were computed the characteristics of modern shock isolators, and also the adequacy of created simulators on basis of Fischer criterion was tested and verified.

In order to improve the automation level of the metamorphic concrete grouting machine, an automatic positioning control system was developed based on the knowledge of signal acquisition and hydraulic control technology with PLC and HMI. Angle sensors installed on the arms of the grouting machine and the grouting working device were used in this system. Firstly, users determine the reference position according to practical needs, and use the PLC to complete information collection and respective reference positions recording. Then, before the grouting starts, PLC makes a real-time detection and compares the positions of the excavator boom, arm and the grouting working device, and controls the hydraulic cylinders of the excavator sequentially to adjust the positions through electro-hydraulic proportional velocity regulating valve and solenoid control valves. This control system can realize automatic positioning.

This paper proposes a tractor hydraulic lighten testing system based on OPC technology. OPC technology is well applied to Tractor Hydraulic Lighten Testing System. The host computer can directly communicate with PLC and AD module through OPC technology.The control circuit is greatly simplified, the entire experiments can be completed on PC.The operation is convenient; the system is reliable;the program is easy to debug;test types can choose automatic or manual mode.The actual test results show that the performance of device is stable and reliable.The automation degree of the test system is greatly improved, and the labor intensity of operators is greatly reduced.

Vibratory feeder is a device which is used to arrange small workpieces in neat rows and convey them from one place to another by vibratory feeding. It has been playing a key role in automation production. According to manufacturing equipments for the chassis of vibratory bowl feeder, this paper makes studies mainly in the followings: (1) introduces the principle of the vibratory feeder briefly, (2) the mechanical structure of the automatic extrusion device for curved chassis of vibratory feeder is designed, including frame, moulds and guiding mechanism, (3) static analysis, mould stress analysis are done by using the finite software ANSYS, (4) based on the electro-hydraulic proportional control technology, a hydraulic system is designed, (5) a control system based on STC89C52RC MCU(Micro Control Unit) is given. The problems of automatic extrusion for the curved chassis of vibratory feeder are successfully solved through the theoretical and experimental studies, which achieves the expected design goals and fills in a gap in this field in China, which brings great economic and social potential benefits and has wide application prospect.

In the complete paper, the authors describe a platform that integrates advanced data analytics and hydraulic modeling in real time, coupled with cybersecurity features applied through an open-platform communications unified-architecture protocol directed at automation controllers for managed-pressure-drilling (MPD) applications. MPD Control System An intelligent MPD system automatically controls all the components of an MPD system, including a rotating control device, annular isolation device, flow spool, buffer manifold, choke manifold, and pressure-relief valves. Aside from communicating with and controlling this equipment, such a system is able to communicate with the overarching rig-control system. The system uses the control capabilities of a centralized programmable automation controller with an integrated human/machine-interface screen. Another advantage of the intelligent MPD system is the built-in functionality to track the performance of the system in terms of performance and health through component monitoring to enable condition-based maintenance (CBM).

Rotary power head is driven by the motor, and realize the rotary motion through the gear driving. Power head straight reciprocating device, rotary indexing table, positioning clamping device driven by the hydraulic cylinder, to achieve the semi-automatic of the flange hole processing cooperate with the PLC sequence control function. It has short design cycle, low investment, high efficiency and smooth hydraulic actuator with the generic parts of modular machine tool. Combined with programmable controller to realize the sequence control. And it will be easy to operate, operate reliable and with high efficiency.

Machining center is a complex mechatronical product. Because of numerous influencing factors on its reliability, parts of their inaccurate description and the uncertainty of its failure behaviors, it is very difficult to analyze its reliability by traditional reliability model which is based on probability theory. To solve this problem, grey system theory combined with GO method reliability analysis was presented, and sequentially a practical reliability analysis model considering various operating conditions of the components of machining center was established. The method was used in reliability analysis of hydraulic system of Tray Automatic Exchange Device (TAED) of machining center. Firstly, through a systematical analysis of hydraulic system of tray automatic exchange device of machining center, its basic structure model was summarized, and the model of GO chart for the hydraulic system was established. Then, the gray dynamic analysis for the hydraulic system was derived, and a feasible method of dynamic analysis for the performance reliability of hydraulic system was provided. Finally, the availability and correctness of this method in the analysis and reliability evaluation of machining center was verified by comparing the calculated result of this method with that of the traditional static GO methodology and the FTA. This approach provided a theoretical basis for the prevention of failures of the hydraulic system of tray automatic exchange device, the improvement of the system reliability and security, and the development of security controls.

A simple way to increase the extinguishing water surface area is to atomize water into fine drops. The smaller drops are developed, the better use of water properties can be implemented and less water is consumed in fire fighting. The automatic impulse extinguishing is created. The main aim of the investigation is to develop the approach to investigate the dynamic and hydrodynamic processes in the extinguishing device. The mathematical model of the extinguishing device is presented, where the flow of liquid and gas and the interaction of liquid with the gas are taken into account. The flow of fluids in a hydraulic system is described by a system of equations of a hyperbolic type, which is solved by a characteristics method. An instance of the mathematical simulation of the activity of extinguishing device is shown.

The classical approach to the design of hydraulic drives includes complex calculations and real tests, which is a resource-consuming process. Reduce the cost of design allows the introduction of the development of simulation modeling and CAD / CAM / CAE / PDM automation complexes of the production cycle of enterprises. Modeling allows us to use systematic basis methodological achievements of the theory and practice of hydroautomatics for the design of hydraulic devices to accumulate in the orderly form design experience and provide model support for the life cycle of these products. The article deals with the modern approach to the design of hydraulic drives. A type of a preliminary evaluation of hydraulic drive characteris-tics is given in the example of a hydrodrive of a lifting and mast device. The principle and design schemes of the hydraulic drive are chosen, and a mathematical model is compiled on the basis of the requirements for hoisting and mast devices. A simulation model of the drive is developed on the basis of the mathematical model, consisting of several separate parts connected together. Parts represent a mixed structure of blocks that describe processes in mechanical and hydraulic systems. For visual display an animated 3D model has been created that allows you to observe the progress and results of the simulation. During the calculations, the position dependence graphs of the each link of the lifting and mast device on time, as well as pressure and flow on the safety valve were obtained. Conclusion, based on the results of modeling, was made about the adequacy of the application of models for estimating the characteristics of the projected hydraulic drive in the first approximation. It is recommended to develop such models at the stages of outline and technical design.

For the caused harvesting loss problem by inaccurate alignment of the semi-feeding peanut harvester, an automatic alignment system on the control core of the single chip microcomputer μPD78F0525 was designed. The system adopts a four-bar detection mechanism to transmit the offset to the controller through the sensor and to adjust the excavator in time. On this basis, a peanut automatic alignment test device is developed, which is composed of conveying platform, ridge ditch, hydraulic execution system, signal detection mechanism, signal processing and control system, etc. The influence effect of the main factors of the system is tested through the test bench. The results show: the reaction time increases with the increase of spring preload and deviation distance, gradually decreases and tends to remain unchanged with the increase of forward speed, and first decreases and then increases with the increase of hydraulic flow. The unqualified rate first decreases and then increases with the increase of spring preload, gradually increases with the increase of forward speed and deviation distance, and gradually decreases with the increase of hydraulic flow. The effectiveness and stability of the automatic alignment system can meet the operation requirements. It effectively solved the problem of automatic alignment of the semi-feeding peanut harvester and provided a technical reference for the research and development of the automatic alignment system for harvesting the fruits under the soil.

This paper mainly designs a device for improving setting load of hydraulic support. The device could enhance the pressure of bottom cavity of the stand column in hydraulic support, decrease the late bearing time of stand column of hydraulic support, shore the roof of coal face effectively, prevent the roof fall caused by separating the roof of wall rock untimely from the layer, and ensure the safety production in the coal facing, with the circumstance that the structure of liquid valve bank of hydraulic support isn’t changed and that it has no influence on the normal working of liquid-inlet and rising support. The device using the techniques of hydraumatic and machinery, of which the structure is simple, safe and reliable, is convenient for the work at the underground coal mine. Through the simulated analysis for hydraulic circuit of hydraulic support and the field test, the hydraulic system of hydraulic support is stability with no larger vibration and has a better effect on pressurizing, after using the device. So, the automatic pressure control device to setting load has good popularization and application value.
