Анотація:

ABSTRACTThe first English translation of Castiglione's Il cortegiano was produced by Thomas Hoby, and published in 1561. Hoby began work on the text during Edward VI's reign, when Italian culture was admired for its progressiveness by the Protestant elite. He translated Book iii as a self-contained commission for Elizabeth Parr, marchioness of Northampton. The book in question had particular relevance for the marchioness at that stage of her career. Having ‘Englished’ it, Hoby did not initially intend to translate the rest of Il cortegiano. He knew that someone else was already engaged upon the project. The identity of this alternative translator has hitherto remained unknown. However, a strong case can be made in support of the candidature of William Thomas. Hoby only embarked upon a full translation after Thomas's execution for treason in 1554. By 1556, he had completed his task, and produced a dedication addressed to Henry Hastings. His choice of dedicatee is generally attributed to a sense of political and spiritual affinity; Hastings moved in the same intellectual circles, and shared the same Protestant background, as Hoby. However, the young man who would later be known as the ‘Puritan earl’ conformed to the prescribed religion of the Marian regime. More significantly, he was the nephew of Cardinal Pole. Hoby and several of his evangelical friends were seeking rapprochement with the Catholic government in 1556. Hoby hoped his translation would commend him to Pole, thus effecting his political rehabilitation. However, the authorities were suspicious of Hoby – and of the stationer to whom he entrusted his book. Doubts were also raised about the Catholic orthodoxy of Castiglione's dialogues. Consequently, Hoby's translation was not published until after the Elizabethan accession.

Pemilihan jurusan pada jenjang universitas sangat menentukan akan output yang dihasilkan, artinya jika mahasiswa dalam menentukan pilihan jurusan sesuai dengan bidang keahliannya maka dipastikan tidak akan ada kesulitan untuk mengembangkan diri dalam proses perkuliahan.Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan dua algoritma, yaitu Fuzzy dan Naive Bayes untuk mengklasifikasi bidang keahlian mahasiswa. Mahasiswa dalam perkuliahan mempunyai hoby dan kesukaan yang berbeda-beda terhadap mata kuliah. Mahasiswa Teknik Informatika mempunyai kesempatan dalam memilih bidang keahlian, yaitu: bidang keahlian jaringan, pemrograman, dan desain. Mahasiswa tidak semua akan menguasai bidang keahlian tersebut, sehingga harus memilih sesuai skill, hoby dan mata kuliah kesukaan, dan nilai. Penelitian ini akan membuat system untuk mengklasifikasi bidang keahlian mahasiswa teknik informatika UNISLA. Algoritma yang diimplimentasikan, yaitu Fuzzy untuk mengkategorikan dari nilai atau inputan angka, sedangkan naïve bayes digunakan untuk klasifikasi, dalam uji coba sistem ini didapatkan akurasi 100% dengan errored 0% dari 243 data yang olah pada proses training

Sejak Pendemi covid-19 tren tanaman hias masih terus melambung tinggi, sejumlah tanaman hias harganya bahkan sangat gila-gilaan. Tahun berganti tetapi wabah Corona belum juga berakhir, harus ada langkah jitu agar masyarakat tidak menjadi kaum rebahan yang berkepanjangan. Mencari kegiatan yang sifatnya menyenangkan, menyalurkan hoby, bisa mempercantik lingkungan, sekaligus mendatangkan uang. Ya itu tadi bertanam tanaman hias dan menjualnya secara online. Masyarakat warga RT 34 Kelurahan Sidomulyo, Kota Bengkulu terdiri dari 35 KK, dimana setiap rumah memiliki lahan pekarangan yang cukup untuk diolah dan dimanfaatkan bertanam tanaman hias. Terlihat banyak warga yang menghiasi pekarangannya dengan bunga yang beraneka ragam. Tetapi warga belum berpikir untuk dibisniskan. Mayoritas warga di RT 34 masih memanfaatkan pekarangan dengan bertanam bunga hanya sekedar menyalurkan hoby dan mengikuti tren saja. Padahal jika dioptimalkan dapat menghasilkan uang yang nilainya tidak sedikit. karena itu diperlukan penyuluhan dan pendampingan dengan metode pembelajaran langsung tepat menuju sasaran dan tujuan. Adapun manfaat pembelajaran langsung agar warga RT.34 dapat memanfaatkan segala fasilitas yang ada termasuk handphone untuk memulai berbisnis tanaman hias secara online.

Анотація:

Civic engagement is important for the positive development of adolescents. As such, many youth development programs promote civic engagement, particularly community service and volunteerism. This report is a program evaluation of a youth leadership seminar that seeks to empower adolescents to engage in community service. Using a pre to post mixed-methods design, we evaluated 114 adolescent participants on several psychosocial outcomes. Findings indicated that participants experienced positive change that was consistent with program goals. Quantitative findings demonstrated self-reported increases in areas of cognitive autonomy, moral ideal and social responsibility. Qualitative findings included the important themes of an increased desire to volunteer, confidence, and positive feelings towards self. Implications of these findings and future directions are also discussed.

The first decade of James I's reign saw a wave of high-profile clerical conversions to the Church of Rome. Among the best-known cases are those of James Wadsworth, who travelled to Spain with Sir Charles Cornwallis's embassy in 1605, where, as William Bedell's biographer Alexander Clogie disgustedly recalled, he was ‘cheated out of his religion by the Jesuits and turned apostate’; Theophilus Higgons, a member of Christ Church, Oxford, who converted in 1607; his friend and Oxford contemporary Humphrey Leech, who followed him in 1609 and later joined the Society of Jesus; and Benjamin Carier, a royal chaplain and prebendary of Canterbury, who converted in 1613. As the work of Michael Questier has taught us, religious conversion was by no means an uncommon phenomenon in early modern England. Yet these cases had the potential to inflict serious damage on the Jacobean church, not only because they threatened to neutralise the propaganda advantages to be gained from Roman Catholic converts to the Church of England such as Marc’ Antonio de Dominis, but also because they drew unwelcome attention to doctrinal divisions within the Church of England over such issues as anti-popery and the theology of grace.

In 1576 William Cecil, Lord Burghley, was engaged in one of the most painful disputes of his distinguished career: a bitter conflict with the earl of Oxford who had married, and then repudiated, his beloved daughter Anne. Cecil's distress erupted in a series of memoranda enumerating die injuries inflicted by die earl. At the end of the most comprehensive of these documents he briefly resumed his other role, as mentor and Polonius to the young de Vere. Remember, he begged him, who he was and what the world expected of him: above all remember that ‘the gretest possession that any man can have is honor, good name, good will of many and of the best sort’. This appeal to honour as good reputation among the wisest and best was unlikely to move his renegade son-in-law, whose understanding of the honour code, if we may judge by his actions, is that it provided justification for the wilful individualism of the nobleman. But Cecil's choice of language has resonance in the broader context of thinking about reputation in the late sixteenth century. It eschews excessive personal pride in favour of a balanced appeal to the judgment of one's peers, yet it is scarcely an elevated perception of virtuous Protestant honour of the kind associated with another of Cecil's protègès, Philip Sidney.

Panahan telah berkembang dari fungsinya sebagai keahlian untuk bertahan hidup (berburu), menjadi sarana berperang, menjadi seni, menjadi bentuk olahraga dan kini telah berkembang lebih jauh menjadi sebuah identitas gaya hidup. Di Samarinda panahan yang tadinya hanya merupakan salah satu bentuk olahraga yang dikembangkan untuk tujuan kompetisi, kini berkembang menjadi sebuah bagian gaya hidup dan hoby sebagaimana beberapa olahraga lain seperti renang dan basket. Perubahan fungsi panahan tersebut berpengaruh pula pada perubahan jenis kebutuhan sarana bawa. Saat ini belum terdapat sarana bawa peralatan olahraga panahan untuk keperluan latihan rutin.Untuk keperluan latihan rutin dengan studi kasus penggemar olahraga panahan di Samarinda, dibuatlah desain sarana bawa peralatan panahan berbentuk softcase. Dengan sarana bawa ini, peralatan panahan dapat dibawa dalam bentuk terurai untuk kemudian dirakit saat sampai di tempat latihan. Sarana bawa semacam ini sesuai untuk digunakan untuk keperluan latihan yang lebih membutuhkan sarana bawa yang nyaman digunakan.

Penelitian ini bertujua menggambarkan bentuk Partisipasi Politik Pemilih Pemula Pada Pemilihan Legislatif Tahun 2018 di Kabupaten Bulukumba. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, penilaian ini menggunakan instrument observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Informan dipilih secara purposive sampling. Kemudian teknik analisa data melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, (1) electoral activity dimana melalui pemberian edukasi dengan melakukan pembelajaran dilapangan secara langsung salah satu metode yang dilakukan, membukakan ruang kreasi bagi para pemilih pemula melalui penyaluran minat dan bakat serta hoby para pemilih pemula yang sedang eksis di tengah-tengah masyarakat. (2), lobbying dimana para kandidat memaparkan mulai dari penawaran program.(3) aktivitas organisasi yang lebih mendorong partisipasi aktif para pemilih dengan melibatkan mereka pada struktur tim pemenangan.(4), contacting melauli kegiatan kampanye dan pencoblosan dalam memberikan penawaran-penawaran terkait kebutuhan dan permasalahan pemilih yang akan menjadi bahan pertimbangan bagi para kandidat jika berhasil menjadi pemenang pada perheletan pemilihan legislative di Kabupaten Bulukumba. The fourth edition of Britannia (1594) contained a marked increase in the representation of the propertied classes. The names of landowners, new families as well as old, were increased by approximately three hundred over the third edition of 1590. The fourth edition also contained a new index — “Barones et lllustriores Familiae” — which, together with the new names, registered first Camden's awareness of the changing character of Elizabethan society and second his qualifications as heraldic historian. The significance of this is not entirely clear until it is seen that the changes in Britannia came at a time of controversy and declining esteem in the College of Arms. Camden's authority in heraldry, of which the 1594 Britannia provided convincing evidence, together with his association with the advocates of armorial reform (Fulke Greville, Sir Edward Hoby, and Baron Burghley as well as the queen) made him a logical choice, over Ralph Brooke, for elevation to Clarenceux King of Arms in October 1597. Brooke's quarrel with Camden was part and parcel of the College's troubles and was seen at the time as an instance of the jealous animosity for which Brooke was notorious. One of the ironies of Brooke's attack is that it was symptomatic of the conditions — rivalries and jurisdictional disputes among the heralds, for instance — that advocates of reform were attempting to remedy.

Abstract Function of the Drosophila melanogaster hobo transposon in tephritid species was tested in transient embryonic excision assays. Wild-type and mutant strains of Anastrepha suspensa, Bactrocera dorsalis, B. cucurbitae, Ceratitis capitata, and Toxotrypana curvicauda all supported hobo excision or deletion both in the presence and absence of co-injected hobo transposase, indicating a permissive state for hobo mobility and the existence of endogenous systems capable of mobilizing hobo. In several strains hobo helper reduced excision. Excision depended on hobo sequences in the indicator plasmid, though almost all excisions were imprecise and the mobilizing systems appear mechanistically different from hobo. hobe-related sequences were identified in all species except T. curvicauda. Parsimony analysis yielded a subgroup including the B. cucurbitae and C. capitata sequences along with hobo and Hermes, and a separate, more divergent subgroup including the A. suspensa and B. dorsalis sequences. All of the sequences exist as multiple genomic elements, and a deleted form of the B. cucurbitae element exists in B. dorsalis. The hobo-related sequences are probably members of the hAT transposon family with some evolving from distant ancestor elements, while others may have originated from more recent horizontal transfers.

Анотація:

The article dwells on the find of the bronze basin in the burial no. 5 of the kurgan no. 1 of the group “Bogomol’nye peski I” near the village of Nikolskoye, Enotaevsky District, Astrakhan Region. A belt-set of gold with turquoise inlays found in the region of the pelvic bones of a 40–45-year-old warrior, an iron dagger in a wooden scabbard with round-shaped iron overlays covered with gold foil and with turquoise inlays, and other finds allowed the author of the excavations to attribute the burial to the 1st–2nd centuries AD. It is obvious that the buried warrior belonged to the nomadic elite. A bronze basin, standing almost vertically, was leaning against the northern side of the grave-pit at its bottom. The analysis has shown that the basin belongs to a rare variant, till now unknown in Sarmatia. The closest parallel of its edge with a rim bent outwards and decorated with a band of Ionian kymation is a basin from the prince’s burial in Hoby on the island of Lolland in Denmark, usually dated in the first half of the 1st century AD. The peculiarities of the rosette design at the bottom of the basin associate it with a Tassinari S2300 type basin from Pompeii and some bronze paterae of the Eggers 154 / Nuber D type (Hagenow), which also indicates a probable dating no later than the first half or the middle of the 1st century AD. The basin demonstrates clear signs of deliberate damage. Not only the foot-ring and handles were lost, but the body itself was punched in several places in the form of wedge-shaped holes from the blows of a knife or dagger (?), which are very close in shape to the holes on the silver phalerae and the bowl of the Parthian circle of the second half of the 2nd – first half of the 1st century BC from the Trans-Volga region.

Анотація:

This work is a truly splendid and remarkable achievement. It greatly enlarges and brings up to date the Encyclopedia of Archaeological Excavations in the Holy Land, 4 vols, 1975–8, edited by the late Michael Avi-Jonah and by Ephraim Stern, on whom the prophet's mantle has now fallen. It provides a detailed catalogue raisonne of all the archaeological excavations in the Holy Land. This is defined in a pragmatic way, that is to say, the ancient Palestine, and so modern Israel and Jordan, some parts of Lebanon and Syria under Israeli control, and a number of sites in the Sinai peninsula. Given that in Israel archaeology is a national hobby, and that numerous foreign agencies are likewise at work, British, French, German, Italian and United States as well as others, such an encyclopaedia can only mark a stage in Holy Land archaeology, for it is of its nature an on-going process.

Анотація:

Az újrafordítások korában számos kutatás foglalkozik az újrafordí- tások miértjeinek és mikéntjeinek nyelvészeti aspektusaival, keveset tudunk azon- ban arról, hogy a különféle szövegszintű változók célnyelvi újrateremtését milyen fordítói stratégiák és (esetlegesen) milyen szövegszintű eltolódások kísérik. Ber- man (1990) újrafordítási hipotézise szerint, melyet Chesterman fejlesztett tovább (2000) az újrafordítások közelebb állnak az eredeti műhöz, mint a korábban meg- jelenők. E gondolat vezetett el Károly és mtsai. (2022, megjelenés alatt) esettanulmányához, amely a szövegszintű változók (Károly 2014a) közül a kohéziós szerkezet fordítási „viselkedését” tárja fel ebből a szempontból Salinger The Catcher in the Rye c. műve és magyar fordításai korpuszán, és arra mutat rá, hogy a kohéziós változóknak csak egy része támasztja alá a hipotézist. Feltáró jellegű és kvalitatív megközelítésű esettanulmányunk ezt a munkát viszi tovább, hogy a lineáris kohé- ziós adatokat makrostrukturális változókkal kiegészítve információt nyújtson arról, hogy a regény fordításai hogyan teremtik újra az eredeti mű szövegkoherenciájának egyes makroszerkezeti (makropropozicionális és kapcsolódási propozicionális) aspektusait, és mennyiben támasztják alá az újrafordítási hipotézist. Az eredmények azt mutatják, hogy a Hoey (1991) ismétlésmodellje alapján végzett makropropozicionális korpuszelemzés adatai bizonyítják az újrafordítási hipoté- zist, ugyanakkor a Mann és Thompson (1986) féle retorikaistruktúra-elemzéssel feltárt kapcsolódási propozíciók nem mutatnak jelentős különbséget a vizsgált szövegek retorikai szerkezetében. Egymásnak ellentmondó eredményeink további kutatási kérdéseket vetnek fel az újrafordítást és Chesterman hipotézisét illetően egyaránt.

Abstrak Objektif. Lovebird merupakan salah satu spesies dari Genus Agapornis, berasaldari Negara Yunani Agape yang berarti cinta dan Ornis yang berarti burung.Seiring berkembangnya jaman banyaknya peminat pembeli atau peminat hobilovebird yang baru cenderung awam dalam pengetahuan dari lovebird. Haltersebut menyebabkan dalam pembelian lovebird tidak mengetahui jenis-jenissedangkan jenis burung lovebird bermacam-macam warna. Sehingga perluadanya penelitian yang dapat bermanfaat untuk masyarakat awam dalammengetahui jenis-jenis lovebird.Material and Metode. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan pengolahancitra dengan menggunakan metode euclidean distance dalam menentukan jenisjenis burung lovebird dengan berdasarkan corak gradasi warna dan tekturgambar.Hasil. Performa dari metode yang diusulkan yang diukur dengan akurasi darisempel data yang terdiri 20 data latih dan 12 data uji mampu mengidentifikasikeakurasian sebesar 83.3333%.Kesimpulan. Berdasarkan eksperimen dan pengujian metode euclidean distanceuntuk menganalisa jenis burung lovebird yang telah dilakukan maka kesimpulanyang diperoleh metode yang diusulkan yaitu euclidean distance telah berhasilditerapkan untuk menentukan jenis-jenis burung lovebird dengan berdasarkancorak gradasi warna dan tektur gambar. Abstrak Objective Lovebird is the kind of Genus Agapornis species which come fromYunani that called “Agape” which is means love and ornis that also mean a bird.Based on the development of the era, which the population of people that moreinterested to buy or having a hoby to maintain the lovebird which didnt’ knownanything about protect that lovebird. The problem causing their ability toknowing what are the kinds of the lovebird while the kind of lovebird are havingthe farious colors. From this issues this research began, this research hope thisresearch will be usefull for the common people in understanding the kinds oflovebird.Materials and Methods. This research aimed to appliying the image processingby using euclidean distance method in determining kinds of lovebird based onthe color gradation motif and picture texture.Results The perform of the suggesting method which is measured by using theaccuracy from the data sempel which consist of 20 latih data and 12 test data be able to identification the 83.3333% accuracy. The euclidean distance methodsuccessful in determining the kind of lovebird based on the gradation motif andimage texture.Conclusion. Based on the experiment and the euclidean distance method test toannalize the kind of lovebird whis has been done before, then find the conclusionthat the appropriate method is euclidean distance. The euclidean distancemethod successful in determining the kind of lovebird based on the gradationmotif and image texture.

AbstractDespite being emphatically ascribed to God in Scripture, holiness is little examined in the current literature on the divine attributes. This article defends a normative theory of holiness, taking as its point of departure Rudolf Otto's classic account of the phenomenology of the experience of holiness as that of a mysterium tremendum et fascinans. To be holy is to merit this dual response, that is, to merit both the overwhelming attraction and distinctive sort of repulsion that is characteristic of the experience of holiness. It is plausibly an implication of this account that a supremely holy being – one who is holy, holy, holy – must be the most perfect possible being.

Transaksi jual beli terjadi akibat adanya pertukaran pesan dan informasi dalam pemenuhankebutuhan manusia juga dapat dikatakan sebagian dari aktifitas manusia dalam berkomunikasibisnis. Komunikasi bisnis telah merambah setiap bidang termasuk didalam jual beli buku secaraonline termasuk media sosial Facebook. Penelitian ini ingin mengetahui model komunikasi bisnisyang dilancarkan oleh penjual buku sebagai komunikator dan pembeli buku sebagai komunikandisertai Facebook sebagai media pemasaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian berupa observasi nonpartisipan ataupun partisipan yang diketahui buku yang dijual beli online dibagi secara garis besarmenjadi tiga kategori jenis yaitu buku baru (cetakan baru/teks ajar), buku bekas(seken/tekspelajaran), buku langka/antik (antique/rare). Sedangkan berdasarkan hasil wawancarasecara mendalam bahwa model komunikasi bisnis serta pemasaran melalui Facebook dapatdikatakan masing-masing penjual dan pembeli buku memanfaatkan jejaring pertemanan(friendlist) secara komunikasi interpersonal dan komunikasi kelompok (komunitas grup ) yangmemiliki kesamaan hobi mengkoleksi kedua kategori jenis buku diatas secara mutualfriend. Secaraberjejaring sosial setiap anggota pertemanan atau komunitas grup hidup berdampingan dalamkomunikasi bisnis dengan menerapkan strategi postingan berupa foto dalam menawarkan bukumelalui judul, dan kesamaan hobby untuk mengkoleksi buku untuk diperjual-belikankembali,sedangkan tema yang kerap dicari dan tampil laku pada wall postingan penjual bukuadalah buku tentang : Pramoedya Ananta Toer (PAT) kategori sastra, ideologi (buku kiri), militer,sejarah, agama, politik, ekonomi,hukum, sosial dan budaya serta buku bacaan hobi seperti : komikdan novel

Motorcycles are a means of transportation that have become a primary need for most urban communities in Indonesia. Apart from being a necessity, it is not uncommon for some people to make motorbikes a hobby. This hobby of motorbikes then raises the need for knowledge of vehicle maintenance. In this study, several problems with vehicles of Vespa-2-Tak will be reviewed that require knowledge for maintenance. The maintenance of existing vehicles in most Vespa-2-Tak vehicle repair shops is still manual. This study initiated the idea to try to implement an expert system application using the forward chaining method to diagnose motorcycle Vespa-2-tak problems. This expert system is implemented in a web-based software application with a waterfall development model. Testing with the black-box testing method obtained good results. Thus, this expert system can help Vespa-2-Tak motorcycle users to find out the disturbance or damage to their vehicle and alternative solutions without having to come directly to the bike shop. Abstrak Sepeda Motor adalah alat transportasi yang sudah menjadi kebutuhan primer bagi kebanyakan masyarakat perkotaan di Indonesia. Disamping sebagai kebutuhan, tidak jarang sebagian orang menjadikan sepeda motor sebuah hobi. Hobi terhadap sepeda motor ini yang kemudian memunculkan kebutuhan pengetahuan terhadap perawatan kendaraan. Pada penelitian ini akan ditinjau beberapa gangguan kendaraan roda dua Vespa-2-Tak yang membutuhkan pengetahuan untuk perawatannya. Pada perawatan kendaraan yang ada pada kebanyakan bengkel kendaraan Vespa-2-Tak masih bersifat manual. Penelitian ini menggagas ide untuk mencoba mengimplementasikan salah satu aplikasi sistem pakar menggunakan metode forward chaining untuk mendiagnosa gangguan kendaraan roda dua Vespa-2-Tak. Sistem pakar ini diimplementasikan dalam aplikasi perangkat lunak berbasis web dengan model pengembangan waterfall. Pengujian dengan metode black-box testing diperoleh hasil yang baik. Dengan demikian sistem pakar ini dapat membantu para pengguna kendaraan motor Vespa-2-Tak untuk mengetahui gangguan atau kerusakan pada kendaraannya serta alternatif solusinya tanpa harus datang langsung ke bengkel. Pandemi covid 19 membawa banyak sekali perubahan dalam menjalankan tatanan kehidupan bermasyarakat. Masyarakat wajib memperhatikan pembatasan sosial disebut social distancing. Ini merupakan kebijakan pemerintah yang mengharuskan semua kegiatan dilakukan dirumah, mulai dari sekolah, bekerja ataupun aktifitas lain. Sisi negatif aktifitas dirumah ini adalah menurunnya pendapatan masyarakat karena adanya larangan keluar rumah, sedangkan sisi positifnya masyarakat memiliki banyak waktu menjalankan hobi yang selama ini tidak bisa dilakukan. Fenomena ini menjadi tujuan dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yaitu memberikan pelatihan bagaimana cara merubah hobi menjadi peluang berwirausaha guna menambah pendapatan yang sedang menurun dimasa pandemi ini. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini melalui penjelasan teori, diskusi interaktif antara pemateri dan masyarakat peserta pelatihan serta praktek pemasaran produk dengan memanfaatkan media sosial. Hasil dari kegiatan ini terlihat bahwa masyarakat sangat antusias mengikuti pelatihan, serta berhasil memberikan wawasan, motivasi, kepercayaan diri dan semangat bagi masyarakat bahwa dari hobi bisa dijadikan sebagai peluang berwirausaha yang bisa menghasilkan pendapatan. Dan terlihat beberapa masyarakat langsung memanfaatkan media sosial yang mereka miliki guna memasarkan hobi yang mereka tekuni selama pandemi. Kata kunci: hobi, pandemi, peluang, pendapatan, wirausaha ABSTRACT The covid 19 pandemic brought a lot of changed in the order of community life. All communities must pay attention to social restrictions called social distancing. This is a government policy that requires all activities to be done at home, ranging from school, work or other activities. The negative side of this activity at home was the decreased in people's income due to the prohibition of left the house, while the positive side of the community had a lot of time to runned a hobby that had not been able to be done. This phenomenon was the goal in community service activity. We had provided training on how to turn hobbies into entrepreneurial opportunities to increase income that had been declining in this pandemic. The methods used in this training was through theoretical, interactive discussions between speakers and the trainee community as well as product marketing practices by utilizing social media. The resulted of this activity are seen that the community was very enthusiastic about participated in training, and successfully provided insight, motivation, confidence and enthusiasm for the community that from hobbies can be used as an entrepreneurship opportunity that can generate income. And it is seen that some people immediately used the social media they have to market hobbies they pursue during pandemics. Keywords: hobbies, pandemics, change, income, entrepreneurship
