The information support of the product life’s cycle requires to produce and to design this product with the help of the modern graphic CAD packages by creating an information model. In this regard, the question of the introduction of information technology in the educational process of the graphic training becomes relevant, as the basic graphic training forms the skills of graphic presentation of information. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the content of graphic training in institutions of higher technical education in conjunction with special software CAD-systems, including SolidWorks. The purpose of the study is to substantiate the content of graphic training in institutions of higher technical education in conjunction with the special software CAD-systems, including the SolidWorks. The methods of the research: analysis of the problems of future bachelors-mechanics’ graphic training, analysis of modern software for the graphic documentation, the generalization to obtain the conclusions and recommendations. The research results demonstrate that the development of modern software to solve problems of automation of three-dimensional design, the design and technological preparation of production of any complexity in various industries allows graduates to be competitive professionally in the labor market. We considered the graphic training in the environment of CAD-systems, also we highlighted the features of a special software SolidWorks-CAD. In the course of research of the content of basic graphic training that includes the descriptive geometry, the engineering and computer graphics in CAD-systems they revealed the most important factors in the formation of methods of mental activity of students. We consider that the most progressive method of the graphic training of engineers is to teach two courses instead of the three classic parts of basic graphic training. The effected research of engineering graphics and the peculiarities of the construction of working drawings in SolidWorks allowed to reconcile their relationship. The mastering of the modern software for solving of the problems of automation of three-dimensional design, the design and technological preparation of production of any complexity in various industries allows for graduates to be competitive professionally in the labor market.

Objectives: The study aims to introduce the challenges faced by the reality of designing animated illustrations in advertising for tourism promotion in the Arab world. It explores the interest in designing animated illustrations in the Arab world and the challenges it faces, while seeking positive solutions capable of advancing the design and development of animated illustrations in the region. Methods: This study utilizes a descriptive analytical approach, chosen for its suitability in achieving the study's objectives. Results: The motion graphic industry is complex, requiring careful planning and decision-making on both the economic and technical fronts. It emphasizes the significance of graphic design and its role in motion graphic design, showcasing destinations in a captivating manner that sparks the tourists' desire to experience them in person. The study identifies the various steps involved in motion graphic design, including script writing, storyboarding, graphics, animation, and the creation of scenes for designing animated illustrations in tourism advertising. Furthermore, it focuses on processing these illustrations and presenting them in their final form. Conclusions: The study highlights the necessity for designers to be proficient in all design programs, stay updated with their advancements, and be familiar with their utilization to accurately accomplish their work and enhance the quality of motion graphics design..

In order to query and manage the graphic files efficiently, and improve the graphic management system in the enterprises, based on the research of dwg、dxf formats, using VC++6.0 language, the graphic title bar information database was created in the Access. With the ODBC interface connected to the graphic database, the preview and query of the graphic database were realized with ActiveX technology. By designing and programming good interactive interface, graphics could be modified and translated conveniently as well as updating the database etc. Simultaneously, by setting identification, the security management of the graphic database was realized. Ultimately, the delivery of enterprises was highly improved.

This paper asserts that graphic design can be analyzed as a performative act, particularly in relation to political performativity, a term coined by Reuben Rose-Redwood and Michael R. Glass after Judith Butler’s theory of performativity. Graphic design as a mass media tool enables persistent and everyday reiteration of regime authority, thus enforcing the construction of preferable identities of ideal citizens. In the text, the scope of political performativity of graphic design as an example of socialist Yugoslavia is analyzed, based on the cultural theory and the theory of political performativity, and by using examples of poster, magazine and catalogue cover designs created for political and cultural events in Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (SFRY) from the 1940s to the 1980s. It will be shown how graphic design has had an impact in shaping and reshaping the image of Yugoslav citizens through an everyday representation of men, women and youth in order to consistently reassert the dominant state/regime narrative. In the current era of technological advances used to provide information has grown very rapidly. Various kinds of media are used, one of them is Motion Graphic. The motion graphic entitled "Budidaya Ayam Kampung Unggul Balitbangtan" aims to make people aware of how to cultivate Ayam Kampung Unggul Balitbangtan. Motion graphics have several important things, one of which is voice-over and sound effects, because they can convey messages well to the community. In the process of making it can start with designing, then proceed with production and end with product testing. The making of this motion graphic refers to the method from the e-book Motion Graphics Budidaya Ayam Kampung Unggul Balitbangtan. Voice-over and sound effects used greatly affect the final result of the motion graphic made Both of them can present the topics that are displayed to the public and the public can understand the intent and purpose of this motion graphic. Voice-over cannot only be applied to motion graphics but can also be applied to commercial videos.

The article is devoted to overview of software used in the automated designing of architectural objects. Particular attention is paid to the features of modern software and the possibility of their use in the design of constructions. The technique of modern SAPR implementation in educational process within studying of «Engineering Graphics» course is considered by the example of AutoCAD graphic system for students of construction specialties. The selection of these CAD systems as the base for graphic disciplines teaching is validated. The architectural task consists in creation of one of two developed ways of modeling. In the course of task performance students solve the main geometrical objectives by definition of the form and constructive and geometrical parameters of the objects and in parallel master 3D modeling in AutoCAD or ArchiCAD packages. It is proved that inclusion in educational process of the graphic task developed taking into account a professional orientation trained, increases its efficiency. The task performed during the first semester promotes fixing and profound studying of fundamentals of engineering graphics. It can be used when studying 3D computer geometric modeling for students of the technical directions. Geometric modeling in design of architectural objects, you can create a model of the object based on the descriptions of the characteristics of the object, geometry, proportion and relationships, information membranes, implemented in an appropriate software environment. It also allows you to increase the search of new architectural forms, to perform the analysis of the spatial form of the designed object and the projection to develop an architectural model of the building. Based on this analysis the trend of engineering and development of geometric modeling for the designing of sites is showed.

The purpose of the article is to analyse the influence of the system of compositional techniques and graphics of the All-Ukrainian Photo Cinema Administration Film Poster School and Ukrainafilm on domestic graphic design. Research methodology. The author has applied historical, art history, and comparative analysis. Scientific novelty. Through the similarity matching in the world and Ukrainian design and the study of the use of design schemes, techniques and tools that are permanently used in graphic design, we reason the influence of the Ukrainian Poster School of the 1920s and 1930s on contemporary graphic design practice. Conclusions. Despite a long break for ideological grounds in the functioning and study of Ukrainian graphic design in the middle of the twentieth century, we record a noticeable influence of the means and techniques of Ukrainian poster art on modern trends. These are general compositional techniques: placing a formatted face or figure as a dominant on the entire plane of the image, designing a composition on the principle of a “playing card”, deliberately replacing grounds on the inverted perspective. There are local techniques: concentric circles as a compositional dominant, filling the main character’s glasses with visual elements or font content, and rhythmically repeating visual elements or font groups. The identified similarities can be valuable in the young designers training, taking into account the general development of Ukrainian graphics’ history and its single branch graphic design. It is also possible to use these schemes, techniques and tools in contemporary design education as a methodological basis for teaching poster design, designing, composition, layout and modelling.

Art and design undergraduate educational programmes such as Graphic Design studies are based upon best practice within the Graphic Design industry. Thus, the classroom environment is designed to mirror a typical design studio environment. However, traditional design studio interaction and collaboration are undergoing rapid transformation in practice triggered by an increasingly global digitally networked professional environment. In response, this paper outlines our journey of redesigning an undergraduate graphic design curriculum to enable students to engage beyond the context of the classroom to a potentially global audience. Over two redesign iterations Visual Communication Design students explored new technologies including mobile augmented reality and virtual reality to enhance the reach and impact of their portfolios of work. Using the concept of Visual Poetry and a combination of typography and moving image, the students created a range of art pieces inspired by a specific location, and shared these via an ecology of resources chosen to digitally augment their work and facilitate the production of student eportfolios. The goal of the curriculum redesign is to broaden students’ educational experiences beyond the confines of the traditional studio based classroom to include wider community outreach and participation within an increasingly global environment.

Designing privacy controls that are intuitive for end users involves several challenges. Graphic representations could certainly contribute to tackle such challenges, however, a visual vocabulary for privacy solutions is currently lacking. To contribute to that end, in this paper we report a review of online images related to privacy. We identify graphic representations that illustrate privacy objects, mechanisms and actions, and categorize them according to the concepts covered. Seeking to develop a set of icons to illustrate privacy concepts, we analyze online contents publicly available from social media and extract representations that commonly refer to privacy concepts. The contributions of this paper include: (1) a set of graphics that represent privacy mechanisms, objects and actions; and (2) a vocabulary for such graphic representation. The evidence is drawn from the analysis and discussion of 241 images selected by the authors from ten online image repositories.

Abstract: This study aims to create and define the Bliss Yoga Malang logo and standardize its application through applicative media. The design uses the Designing Brand Identity method with stages 1). Conducting Research, 2). Clarifying Strategy, 3). Designing Identity, 4). Creating Touchpoints, and 5). Managing Assets. Visual identity elements in the form of logos, supporting graphics, and GSM (Graphic Standard Manual) to facilitate the design of applicable promotional media. Observation results show that Bliss Yoga is a yoga class that was only established in early 2021 and does not yet have a logo. The process of designing the Bliss Yoga Malang logo begins with a mind mapping of Bliss Yoga Malang to form keywords that can represent Bliss Yoga Malang, namely women, calm, and flexible. The logotype is created using the Nunito font which belongs to the Sans Serif font category. Visual identity is manifested in three categories of application media to form a signature, namely 1) stationery set, 2) promotion media set, and 3) merchandise set to give an 'impression and perception' of Bliss Yoga through the administrative process and correspondence, attracting more enthusiasts and emotionally bringing Bliss Yoga's target consumers closer. Managing Assets is facilitated by the Graphic Standard Manual. This visual identity is expected to introduce Bliss Yoga in Malang with special customer segmentation in terms of gender, age, and appearance (hijab). Keywords: visual identity; logo; class yoga Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan membuat dan menetapkan logo Bliss Yoga Malang beserta standarisasi penerapannya melalui media aplikatif. Perancangan menggunakan metode Designing Brand Identity dengan tahapan 1). Conducting Research, 2). Clarifying Strategy, 3). Designing Identity, 4). Creating Touchpoints, dan 5). Managing Asset. Elemen visual identity berupa logo, supporting graphic, dan GSM (Graphic Standard Manual) agar mempermudah perancangan media promosi aplikatif. Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa Bliss Yoga merupakan kelas yoga yang baru berdiri pada awal tahun 2021 dan belum memiliki logo. Proses perancangan logo Bliss Yoga Malang diawali dengan mind mapping mengenai Bliss Yoga Malang untuk membentuk kata kunci yang dapat merepresentasikan Bliss Yoga Malang, yaitu perempuan, tenang, dan fleksibel. Logotype dibuat menggunakan font Nunito yang termasuk kategori font Sans Serif. Visual identity diwujudkan dalam tiga kategori media aplikasi agar terbentuk sebuah ciri khas atau signature, yaitu 1) stationery set, 2) promotion media set, dan 3) merchandise set untuk memberi ‘kesan dan persepsi’ terhadap Bliss Yoga melalui proses administrasi dan surat-menyurat, menarik peminat lebih banyak serta mendekatkan target konsumen Bliss Yoga secara emosional. Managing Asset difasilitasi dengan Graphic Standard Manual. This article aimed to find a new way to transform the graphic image (drawing, photos, etc) to the pattern parameters of female apparel with raglan sleeve. The correlation and regressive analysis were used to the data in order to find the existing laws between them. The practical examinations demonstrated the good predictability of equations established.

Improvement process of designing new models of women's clothing by automating sketch design in conditions of small sewing enterprises. Analysis of computer graphics programs possibilities; determination of meaningful indicators for determining the suitability of existing software by expert estimation method; approbation of the study results in the conditions of designer workplace. There have been created templates of graphic images of different types of female figures, libraries of modern materials textures, which are most often used for women's clothing manufacture. There has been developed the method of new model sketches creation of women's clothes with the use of figure templates and libraries of materials. An approach is proposed that generalizes and simplifies the process of adaptation of universal computer programs of vector graphics with the needs of automated design of new clothing models There has been developed a methodical support for the use of the universal graphic editor Xara Designer Pro on the AWS of a designer of a small sewing enterprise.

Graphic Design is one of the required subjects of expertise package for Vocational students in Multimedia majors. These Graphic Design subjects are more directed at competency-based practicum which aims to equip students' skills in the field of graphic design so that students have strong skills with realistic theoretical foundations for students. Therefore there are still many students who do not understand the learning given by the teacher because the teacher has not used different techniques in delivering learning material, therefore it is necessary to design interactive learning media so that the teacher is easy to apply learning material and help students master the subject matter. In designing basic Graphic Design learning materials using explicit intruction models and through Interactive Multimedia learning procedures, starting from the needs analysis in designing, gathering data, identifying material to determining learning flow chart design, material collection or graphic needs. The interactive multimedi learning media is designed using the adobe director 11 application, and other applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Coreldraw, Camtasia as supporting applications so that it becomes an interactive multimedia learning media application that provides convenience for students in learning.Keywords: Learning Media, Interactive Multimedia, Graphic Design.

Alibaba’s Graphic Media (GM) is the first and only Internet content source that uses infographics to educate Chinese e-commerce merchants. This study investigates target audiences’ attitudes toward GM infographics. Two focus groups perceived GM as a practical information source that aided them in decision making and daily business operations. They preferred viewing graphics to texts and particularly favored statistical graphics. They also identified issues with viewing GM infographics on mobile devices. Based on the study’s findings, the author proposes three areas that communicators can address when designing infographics in similar contexts: content, usability, and overall visual appeal.

Abstract Since Covid-19 there have been many changes in the order of people’s lives, there are various new regulations such as the obligation to wear masks when leaving the house, maintaining distance, working from home, or restrictions on leaving the house. These social restrictions have an impact on increasing the volume of plastic waste due to online transactions. This problem causes environmental damage, such as what happened in Gorontalo waters between Hulonthalangi and Dumbo Raya sub-districts, Gorontalo City, polluted with microplastics, the food chain in Gorontalo waters is automatically contaminated with microplastics from the research results of the Nusantara River Expeditionary Team in collaboration with the Institute for Humanities and Development Studies in October 2022. Based on this, campaign actions need to be taken. This Final Project with the title “Designing Motion Graphics as a Zero Waste Lifestyle Campaign Media for the Indonesian People” aims to assist the government’s role in preventing environmental damage due to waste and to provide information, education, and an invitation to the target audience to participate. In the success of this campaign. Motion graphic design as a media campaign applies a mixed media art style as a visual representation of graphic elements, typeface, and layouts.

The role of graphic competence in the training process of future teachers of labor education and technology has been substantiated in this article. Examples of students' use of the acquired knowledge in Descriptive Geometry and Engineering Graphics in further educational and practical activities have been established. There are reading drawings of products (parts) for their manufacture; design and execution of graphic images of products (parts); development of a logical sequence of the technological process for the manufacture of the product; designing a garment pattern, etc. The growing role of machines with digital program control (DPC) is taken into account and the role of graphic representation of the part (product) in digital format for their manufacture on such machines is also investigated. It is proposed to provide the emphasized training of students to perform drawings of parts (products) by means of graphic editors with the prospect of their manufacture on machines with DPC. The purpose of the article is to reveal the features of preparation of future teachers of labor education and technology to perform drawings of product details in graphic editors with the subsequent manufacture of these objects on machines with digital program control. The peculiarities of training students in Computer Graphics at Volodymyr Hnatiuk Ternopil National Pedagogical University during studying of disciplines «Descriptive Geometry, Drawings and Computer Graphics», «Computer Graphics and Multimedia» have been analyzed. It is determined that students are not able to fully master Computer Graphics due to the lack of hours and the large number of commands and functions that are provided by such computer programs. It is proposed to enhance the preparation of students for mastering computer graphics through the independent implementation of students' drawings of product details using a graphic program in extracurricular time in the form of an individual educational research tasks (IERT). The expediency of making drawings of product parts by means of a graphic program with their subsequent manufacture by a machine with digital program control (DPC) has been substantiated. Plywood is proposed as a construction material for the design of the products by means of graphic editors with the subsequent manufacturing by machines with DPC. The structure of IERT is proposed: to make drawings of details of a product according to the instruction; provide a “photo report” of the sequence of drawings according to the instructions with a short description; to change the design of the product based on the knowledge and skills formed by making drawings according to the instructions. An example of IERT instructions for students is given. It involves the use of KOMPAS-3D. The phone stand is considered as a sample of performance by students for IERT.

Two interactive displays were designed that let people modify lifestyle hazard factors (e.g. diet/exercise) and see how this changed their likelihood of serious illness, such as coronary heart disease and stroke, in the next 10 years. Pilot testing showed it was better to create strong visual links between changing hazard factors and their effects on risk of illness, than to link hazard selections to their changes. Revisions to left-right sequencing on screen were needed when moving from graphic to tabular displays. This reflected the design principle of giving salience to the user’s goals through the visual rhetoric of the screen display.

Abstract The National Rehabilitation Institute (INR) in Mexico City purchased 12 Madsen™ Orbiter 922 audiometers in 2006. While this audiometer is excellent for diagnosing the degree and type of hearing loss, it has presented problems in transfering, saving and printing the results of special tests and logoaudiometry from audiometer to workstation with the NOAH-3™ system. The data are lost when the audiometer is turned off or a new patient is captured. There is no database storing and, shortly after the results have been printed on the thermal paper, the audiograms are erased. This problem was addressed by designing and implementing the InterAudio (AAMS) communication and graphical interface. The limitations and scope of the Automatic Audiometric Measurement System were analyzed, then a search of technical information was performed that included the resources for designing, developing and implementing the transfer interface, the user's graphical module requirements, and the tools for printing and saving the study.

Technology advancement has changed shopping activities from offline to online (O2O). Businesses must take advantage of digital technology to market their products by creating attractive visual advertising to acquire their consumers. This study empirically investigates purchase behavior and evaluation of Instagram content ads from the visual elements of advertising (color, product image, design, and typography). A total of 496 online consumers participated in the survey. The findings further show that, except for color, all visual elements of advertising directly affect consumer attitude. Our results also confirm that actual purchases are formed by attitudes and purchase intentions. Theoretically, this study furthers the literature on consumer behavior, social media advertisement, and digital marketing. Moreover, it provides practical insights into designing attractive advertisement content on Instagram, which benefits marketers and content/graphic designers.

In view of the current graphic design software can not design to users in the composition theory provides support for the status quo. This paper designs an analysis system aided graphic design of visual aesthetics based on computer design geometry, realizing the import, designing elements of graphic design work of interactive segmentation and obtaining proportion and composition analysis to determine the relationship. The basic functions of the system can be used for visual aesthetics evaluation design work, can also provide support design related geometrical aesthetic principle in graphic design user.

This study sought to provide an overview of the competencies required by employers in advertising for graphic design position in relation to inter-active design in Ghana. This was done in the context of the dynamism of graphic design profession with current technological advances. Both thematic and content analysis were used to analyse online job adver-tisements collected within eight months to determine the patterns and frequencies of occurrence of specific requirements for the job position relating to graphic design. This was to better understand employers’ expectations from the graphic designer in terms of designing for interac-tivity and the implications for graphic design pedagogy. Findings from the study revealed that, traditional graphic designers in Ghana will now have to acquire skills in interactive design and competencies associated with them. These include among others, responsive design, problem-solving, coding skill, software skills, creativity, CMS tools, project management and personal characteristics. Beyond these, request for skills in coding, knowl-edge in responsive design, knowledge in content management system tools, software skills and teamwork are the most frequently expected skills from the present day graphic designer. We end the paper by suggesting how our study could trigger graphic design pedagogy development.

Narrative structure is the framework of the story as the basis for presenting the narrative to the audience. Narrative structure is generally applied to something that is fictional to determine the direction of the plot of a story, such as story books, novels, films, and animations. This paper will discuss the adaptation of a scientific book by Justin Healey on the problem of body image which will be adapted into motion graphic media using the Freytag Pyramid narrative structure method. The adaptation of scientific books with a narrative structure is carried out with the aim of helping the process of grouping information that will be used into a designed motion graphic video, as well as to help in making motion graphic structures by writing the script. The methodology used in this paper is research by conducting a literature study from existing sources and references from books or journals, before entering the stage of analysing scientific books. The adaptation phase begins by analysing a scientific book entitled Positive Body Image using the Freytag's Pyramid narrative structure method. It is not only used to analyse and classify information but is also used as a reference in writing scripts based on the narrative structure of the Freytag Pyramid, which can determine the structure of the designed motion graphic. From the results of this analysis, it can be concluded that the narrative structure method can also be used to analyse scientific and nonfiction books, as well as being applied in designing motion graphics.

The advancement of computer technology for digital artistry in this 21st century has availed new-media technologies for enhancing design practices in technical and vocational studies through the development of sophisticated graphic-application software. Unfortunately, these software are very challenging to learn and employ for creative design practice especially at the Basic and Senior High School levels of education in Ghana. Microsoft Office word belongs to the category of general-purpose application software, developed principally for word processing. Unfortunately, many of its users are oblivious of its capabilities for creative motif and pattern designing. It is embedded with shape designing tools that can be manipulated and modified to create intricate patterns for advancing variety of design concepts. The researcher has explored these tools and adopted them for creating fascinating kente design concepts, based on the design-based research approach. From the calculation result after interpreted using Normalize Gain, there is an increase of higher learning result in student with interactive learning based on motion graphic, compared with student achievement on conventional learning. In this research, interactive multimedia learning based on motion graphic is effective toward the improvement of student learning in concept mastering indicator and on the aspect of making fashion design in digital format.

The objectives to be achieved in this study were (1) to describe the design of interactive multimedia development based on Balinese culture on graphic design learning at class X Multimedia in SMK Negeri 1 Sawan. (2) to describe the responses of content experts, design experts and media experts to the development of interactive multimedia based on Balinese Culture contextual on graphic design learning at Class X Multimedia in SMK Negeri 1 Sawan. (3) to describe the response of the user / teacher teaching graphic design subjects to the development of interactive multimedia based on Balinese contextual culture on graphic design learning at Class X Multimedia in SMK Negeri 1 Sawan. (4) to describe the response of students in the form of individual trials, small group trials and field trials on the development of interactive multimedia based on Balinese Culture contextual on graphic design learning in Class X Multimedia in SMK Negeri 1 Sawan. The interactive multimedia development model based on Balinese cultural contextual learning graphic design used Dick & Carey model. In the process of designing multimedia products, content experts are required to adjust the material presented in interactive multimedia with the material provided at school, in this case the teacher is appointed as content expert, so the teacher's contribution in this study is to provide a syllabus of graphic design material. In addition to content experts, media experts and design experts are also needed to test the validity of interactive multimedia developed. After being valid, it will be implemented in school by giving a questionnaire to students whether the interactive multimedia developed in this study is suitable for use or not. The following are tests on aspects of display, graphics, program operation and grammar performed by media experts obtaining 85% of the calculation results in good qualifications. Tests on aspects of learning, curriculum and interface design conducted by learning design experts obtain a calculation of 89% in good qualifications. User/teacher responded well. Individual trials carried out received good responses. Small group trials obtained calculation results of 90% are in very good qualifications. Field trials that were carried out obtained a calculation of 87% in good qualifications.

The article is devoted to a detailed analysis of the problem of designing graphic geoportal interfaces. The authors formulated the basic points for solving problems in this field, having given the rationale and detailed description of each of them. The emphasis is made on the flexible arrangement of the design and development of interfaces, aiming at the future realities, at the human centricity of the interface design process, at the need for cross-platform adaptive web interfaces, at the preference to use proprietary and third-party software modules over the implementation of spatial data management systems. Lists of basic functional and quality requirements for graphical interfaces of geoportals are given. The geoportal “Natural and cultural heritage of Mordovia” is presented as an illustrative example of the various implementation of graphical user web interfaces. An experimental assessment of the effectiveness of measures to improve geoportal graphical interfaces is given. It is shown that properly over-thought interfaces of geoportal systems can contribute to solving various kinds of problems in many fields.
