Повний текст джерелаThe following research study is specifically designed for the Chinese official workers of the State-owned member enterprises the GEIDCO (Global Energy Interconnection Development and Cooperation Organization) in the PLOP (Portuguese Speaking Countries) in order to benefit the international progress of this organization in sustainable development, especially in its area of development and communication with PLOP member entities. Contributing in parallel to the expansion of PLE (Portuguese Language Foreign Language) teaching with specific purposes through later establishing a proposal of the didactic model of the Portuguese-Energy teaching-learning course. To achieve these objectives, it was necessary to: 1. investigate the life and work situation of the Chinese employees living in the PLOP (Countries of Portuguese Official Language) who work in the areas related to GEIDCO; 2. analyze the objective needs for learning PLE based on the results of the survey I; 3. ascertain their motivations, preferences and suggestions through the opinions of those inquirers who serve as representatives of the target learners; and finally, 4. determine the viability and necessity of creating an internal PLE course according to the criteria of the communicative competences of the QECR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). There was also a deep reflection on i) the effect of the policy in the process of promoting foreign languages; ii) the LE learning interest of the Chinese officials who were sent to work for the PLOP; iii) the teaching of PLE for specific purposes, especially Portuguese applied in the area of energy; (iv) the intercultural approach in language courses; and (v) social integration for GEIDCO employees who benefit from language skills.
