Повний текст джерелаEducation is a right universally proclaimed in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948) and the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (1966). But even if these legal and standard-setting texts and the international community's repeated commitments give impetus to a new social, political and philosophical perception of the educational process, the question remains unanswered. How can we achieve the goal of cognitive inclusion as soon as possible and offer all communities everywhere the same opportunities for access to knowledge? How can education be designed to ensure that learning societies are open to all, and not just to those countries, families and individuals who can afford the relevant and valued knowledge? In other words, how can we prevent education from accentuating the divide between increasingly well-educated populations and populations with limited access to quality education, thereby widening the cognitive divide that is the main pitfall of a global knowledge economy? Our problem is to identify and analyse the factors of exclusion and the potential of formal education systems to renew themselves in order to address the issue of exclusion from training of indigenous communities without school education. The study was carried out in the geographical area of the Yamoussa BSB in Cameroon and Chad. It involved a series of thirty-eight (38) ethnographic interviews with indigenous communities and eight (8) interviews with those in charge of the formal education system (six in Cameroon and two in Chad). Our research is based mainly on the analysis of educational policies and strategies, the discourse of agents, the committed discourse of actors from indigenous communities and on the observation of local practices. Our thesis is that the socioconstructivist approach to education can contribute to the emergence of ‘education for...’ and provides an opportunity for cognitive inclusion, which education for sustainable development enables us to describe and understand. Immersive work using a phenomenological approach based on experience, and multi-referentiality are the principles of action that will examine the exclusion of indigenous communities in the BSB Yamoussa Complex

Повний текст джерелаSince the beginning of human sciences at the end of the eighteenth century, scientific pedagogy and psychology were founded conjointly around questions of the development and learning activity in childhood. The ideas of activity, development and learning have allowed to establish the empiricist hypothesis of a psychogenesis of mental faculties that would be proven naturally by the successive phases of childhood. The movements of New Education, stemming from the philosophical and pedagogical theses expounded in Rousseau’s Emile in 1762 have provided the ideal of a negative education founded on the activity of the child as spontaneous expression of his vital and spiritual forces with its practical dimension. It is in the intertwinent of a metaphysics of activity, a liberal and humanist conception of education, an emancipatory rationality, and pedagogical psycho-physiological perpectives marked increasingly by evolutionism and utilitarianism, that the principal paradigms of contemporary pedagogies were born : sensualist, vitalist, pragmatic, functionalist, and finaly constructivist. In the vein of M. Foucault this thesis proposes an archeological and genealogical analysis of the philosophical and epistemological apparatus or ”dispositives” that, converging and diverging, made the formation of these pedagogies possible. It seems that Rousseau did not only write the program of their deployment, but also anticipated the contradictions that the latter would encounter during the subsequent institutional crisis of modernity

Повний текст джерелаThe main objective of this work was to study perceptual-motor mechanisms underlying the learning of a complex task. The task chosen concerns the particular phase of plane landing called the approach phase. This maneuver is a critical phase of fliight and requires many hours of training. Our aim was to study ways to facilitate the learning of the approach phase from an ecological approach to perception andaction. The first part of this work details the technical aspects involved in understanding the landing procedure and describes the current state of knowledge on the ecological approach of learning. The second part of this thesis is the foundation ofour experimental work which was based on the use of virtual reality. In order toimprove the learning of the approach phase, the manipulation consisted of adding artificial information in the virtual environment (Experiment 1 and 2) which facilitated the detection of useful information to control action. The results of these studies show that learning can be improved if artificial information display is self-controlledby the participant. In addition, transfer tests performed at the end of Experiment 2revealed that the participants came to rely on different visual information. The aimof our last experiment (Experiment 3) was to vary the practice conditions in orderto educate the attention of the participants towards specific information, selectedby the experimenter. In sum, these results allow us to discuss the different processes underlying the acquisition of a new perceptual-motor skill. In the general discussion we refer to the consequences of the various operations performed during the three experimental chapters on the mechanism of education of attention and discuss therole of the various information used by the participants. Finally, we suggest several practical applications potentially useful for the improvement of pilots training

The labor market is hierarchically segmented in two sectors : the low-skill sector, in which workers learn by doing, and the better-paying high-skill sector that workers wish to reach. The addressed topics are the followings : the efficiency of the labor market, a self-financed tax and subsidy policy, the minimum wage effects, educational choices

Повний текст джерелаCurrently the use of active pedagogies in entrepreneurship education is strongly supported by international political and educational institutions. Among scientific articles that promote the learning by doing approaches, experiential learning theory shows that the acquisition and transformation of experience take a central place in the process of knowledge elaboration. This theory also raises a key question around the way it may influence the cognitive setting of the learner and the emergence of his/her own learning strategies. We know that these learning strategies are strongly dependant on mental activities that rely on cognitive education and Metacognition. The contributions of our thesis are twofold. First, we propose a conceptual model of experiential learning in entrepreneurship which results of an attempt to integrate four theories useful to understand the entrepreneurial action. Our second contribution is based on the results of an empirical survey made with a sample of 423 students in the area of Lyon. These results show us the significant effect of experiential learning on perception changes among the students. Moreover, they confirm the role of both Metacognition and experiential learning in entrepreneurship education

Originally, the question of this thesis is as follows : how can we regulate the learning behavior in an educational process? the main object of this study is to identify some causes controlling the information in an educational process. In a first part, we examined the publications relating social psychology and the education, and therefore, we were pointed out the impacts of different sources of variation about the learning behavior of learners. In a second part, four experiences tried to identify the mental process concerning the cognitive treatment of information in three educational operated processes. Beside, we showed the influence of the academic level, the awarding of success or failure, the social insertion and the academic stake

Повний текст джерелаOUR STUDY WAS PRIMARILY INTENDED TO DIFFERENCIATE BETWEEN ANALYTIC AND HOLISTIC CATEGORY PROCESSING IN CHILDREN. ANALYTIC PROCESSING REQUIRES THE EXTRACTION OF OBJECT PROPERTIES, WHILE HOLISTIC PROCESSING IS BASED ON THE APPREHENSION OF THE ENTIRE OBJECT. THE FIRST THREE EXPERIMENTS SHOWED THAT SEVERAL PROCESSING MODES WERE AVAILABLE BY CHILDREN (FROM FIVE TO ELEVEN), THESE PROCESSES BEING DIFFERENTIALLY ACTIVATED ACCORDING TO INDIVIDUAL PREFERENCES AND SITUATIONAL CHARACTERISTICS. SCHEMATIC FACE CATEGORIZATION SOLLICITED ANALYTIC PROCESSINGS, BASED ON ONE OR SEVERAL ATTRIBUTES. CATEGORIZATION OF PHOTOGRAPHIED FACES SHOWED THAT HOLISTIC PROCESSING WAS AVAILABLE BY SOME SUBJECTS WHATEVER THEIR AGE. ANALYTIC AND HOLISTIC PROCESSING SEEM TO CO-EXIST AT ANY AGE. OUR RESULTS INDICATED THAT CATEGORIZATION lengthENING FAVOURED ANALYTIC PROCESSING WHILE FACE PRESENTATION SPEED FAVOURED HOLISTIC PROCESSING. THEN, OUR RESEARCH CONSISTED IN TESTING THE HYPOTHESIS OF PROCESSING INTERACTION PROPOSED BY LAUTREY (1987). ACCORDING TO THIS ASSUMPTION, ONE PROCESS COULD INFLUENCE THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE OTHER, AND SPECIALLY, HOLISTIC PROCESSING COULD GUIDE ANALYTIC PROCESSING BY GENERATING SOME EXPECTATIONS ON OBJECT PROPERTIES. TO TEST IT, WE PROPOSED A CONCEPT FORMATION TASK, PRECEDED BY A CATEGORY FORMATION TASK IN WHICH SOME ATTRIBUTE VALUES, CORRESPONDING TO THE CONCEPT, COVARIED MORE FREQUENTLY THAN OTHERS. THE HYPOTHESIS, WHICH PREDICTED AN ADVANTAGE FOR HOLISTIC SUBJECTS IN DISCOVERING THE CONCEPT RULE, HAS NOT BEEN CONFIRMED

Повний текст джерелаThe teaching and learning of philosophy are hindered by its self-referential structure. Even when it strives to think of external, marginal or other matters, it cannot help asserting its identity though it only grasps it by distinguishing it from what surrounds and rivals it. Most of the time, it mixes up identity and singularity, which is why it has always singled out as its theme the surroundings it is supposed to emerge from, and in return, it can only apprehend its source and outcome, that is to say reality, in so far as it dwells in it and even occupies it. Philosophy cannot exist without this preliminary circularity which at the same time is only an appearance, the substance and inescapability of which exist only in philosophy. In other words, even that very circle can only be imagined because the authority of philosophy is asserted from the start. Learning to philosophize means admitting from the start that pre- and extra- philosophical concepts can already be structured philosophically, that is to say determined according to the future achievement of philosophy. It is not a mere retrospective illusion, but a crucial and functional characteristic of thinking intended both as a precise and particular practice and beyond any particular practice. It is the case when philosophy claims to be ethical, political, dialogical – but it also concerns didactics as soon as it claims to define a particular skill while more or less explicitly laying down the rules of the other forms of knowledge. This trait is especially exacerbated in the teaching of philosophy. The “non-philosophie” developed by François Laruelle provides the opportunity to rethink the identity of philosophy without linking it with that of other subjects and simultaneously to restore the autonomy of each practice, including didactics which can then be considered apart from the epistemological, communicational and pedagogical schemata philosophy imposes from the start

This work, benefiting from research in the psycho-pedagogy of music thus purposes, after the initial stage of musical awakening, a teaching method provided by a single teacher, through his or her instrument - in this case, the cello - before enriching the musical education with specialized and complimentary disciplines

The discoveries in cognitive psychology and neurobiology emphasize the importance of the achievment of autonomy in learning. A survey among twenty-two auto-learners allowed to proove that the learners need the support that the etablisment should and must provide to them through a direct exposure that is to say the tutoring or mediated learning experience. Self-learning in institutional surrounding therefore does not mean the withdrawal of the teachers. On the contrary they must play a new part. That is why they must be appropriately trained to this aim

Повний текст джерелаUntil recently, little research on professionalization has grasped the didactic dimension of professional (vocational) learning, even if the condition for successfully completing the professionalization process is the focus that training brings to bear on professional learning. Training institutions attempt to bring the school and the business closer together by introducing new and varied structures in the training they offer. However, these structures are mainly developed based on pedagogical engineering that does not take into account the professional knowledge involved. The field of professional didactics attempts to address this shortcoming by proposing to analyze the activity of the worker in a situation in order to improve professional training. Yet this approach does not provide a way to understand how training situations can enable the development of professional learning. Questioning the foundations and nature of professional learning in fact reveals that it requires learning and training in line with problematization; professionals in situations must be able to respond to complex and varied problems. However, the theoretical basis underlying training frameworks and structures, as well as research frameworks such as professional didactics, is instead embedded in a constructivist and developmental conception of learning. The present research draws on the Bachelardian perspective on learning, since it offers a problematization-oriented approach. This perspective also provides a different way to examine training-related temporalities compared to the approaches generally suggested by training engineering. Finally, the Bachelardian standpoint leads us to propose a model for understanding formative situations and the way professional learning is constructed within them

Повний текст джерелаThe research concerns the study of specificities connected to the online collaborative learning in a multicultural context. It is situated at the intersection of the reflections carried out on the conceptual fields dealing with the motivation, with the culture, with the gender and with the distance training mediatized by the educational technologies. The context of this study lies in and online university training gathering 249 European and African students, all French-speaking people, in an adult continuing training and working within remote collaborative learning plan. My reflection was driven by the questioning about the way the students lived the online collaboration in multicultural context, in particular on the difficulties shown by the Africans while at the same time they seemed to present a more positive attitude than their western peers towards this method of training. Several successive investigations (preliminary, quantitative and qualitative among representative samples of the students) make it possible to bring a certain number of answers to the question of research as well as additional details. The culture, in particular the sociotechnical environment of the learners, provides an additional variable well to be taken into account with regard to the gender necessary to decode attitudes and behavior of learners who are involved in a online collaborative training. A reflection around the dimensions of the “learnance” (learning readiness) and the transactional distance also allows to understand better the relations between the actors of the training and the necessary adaptations of the training design in such a context

Повний текст джерелаThe liberal system places companies in a very tense, competitive game which can only be won thanks to the quality of the people working within the company. Human skills have become a real strategic tool the development of which represents a key source in gaining performance and competitive advantage. The competence approach aims at identifying, mobilising, recognizing strategic skills and at facilitating their development. In this logic, in-service training plays a central role and becomes integrated in a wide and diversified set of skills production. The analysis of the status and practices of training in organizations to develop the necessary skills is the object of this thesis without forgetting public responsability in the process. This study of vocational training systems and of in-service training practices concerns Morocco and France. It offers an empirical contribution to the debate on companies commitment to in-service training in Morocco and outlines prospects for the future in terms of its development in that country

Повний текст джерелаLaunched for the first time in 1994, the LEONARDO DA ViNCI European programme, more specifically its pilot projects measures, seeks to encourages the design, development and experimenting of innovative products andpractices in vocational training and education. The stated goals of the projects are to improve the quality of training, stimulate innovation in vocational training and transform European training systems. This thesis considers the phenomenon of innovation as a collective leaming process aimed at transforming European training systems via European innovation projects, viewed as "complex", that is to say as systems of various elements and actors in interaction. European innovation projects generate an unpredictable dynamic of innovation with emerging forms that are difficult to identify and anticipate. The theoretical fiamework of this doctorate is Edgar Morin's (1990) "Complex Thinking" that enables a combination of different points of views, and an interlinking of empirical data and multi- andpluridisciplinary approaches that creates models of knowledge produced. The doctoral research uses a qualitative method that harnesses an understanding of perceptions and experiences of European actors in the field, and that of theresearcher involved in promoting LEONARDO and EQUAL projects. The main results of the research show that European innovation projects for Adult Professional Training can be understood as transnational spaces of interactionsto create experimental training response that interconnects macro-, meso- and micro-levels of training engineering, design and singular uses. These projects-spaces-time can be seen as complex transformative learning systems on alarge scale consisting of at least four interconnected levels of complexity: human collectives, temporalities, spatial scales and emerging innovation processes. The study also highlights a Europeanization process of different educationand training systems and in doing this raises the question of an emerging European space for lifelong learning

Повний текст джерелаWhy does a change in secondary school appears necessary in the eighties, yet difficult, even impossible, to implement? we started from a double observation: 1- the attempt at an institutional reform of the "college" nowadays seems to have come to a standstill. Why can't the state take up the challenge of a qualitative democracy and get pupils to succeed in the new middle school which constitutes the "college?" 2- however the new knowledge stemming from research and innovation enables us to define a new theory and practice of teaching based on the learning methods of the pupil. The result of this double observation is an unavoidable requirement : to deal with complexity and to implement change, the teacher has to be an actor in the change foster. We have therefore built a prospective model of a "teacher-actor" by using the crossing point of different theorical and practical fields. Our analysis was organised into 3 poles : the teacher's will, power, know how to change, so as to affect the dynamic process of motivation. Our conclusion : for all pupils to leran, the teacher has to learn in an organization which itself learns

Повний текст джерелаThe thesis starts from the observation that management sciences have paid little attention to training as a learning device and have an instrumentalized vision of it. However, in the face of accelerating technological change and new standards of competitiveness, learning and application of knowledge within companies is a major challenge. In this context, the aim of our thesis is to produce lessons on the trajectories of perseverance of learners in the articulation of training / enterprise. The literature in management sciences gives us the axes to approach this perseverance through the organizational and managerial stakes. The cross-examination with the sciences of education makes it possible to refine the individual difficulties encountered by the learners. We show from a Participative Action Research that all these constraints are found both in the training devices and on the workstations. Our research is based on an analysis of trajectories of students in initial training (FI) continuing education (CF) and continuing vocational training (CF) over three years. We highlight the brakes and levers encountered by each learner as well as the dynamics that are played in each structure and in their articulation. The study shows that perseverance is a process to be analyzed taking into account the individual, collective and organizational constraints in the back and forth between the training devices and the companies

Повний текст джерелаSituations where information and communication technologies are used in education and training, and such intermediate information and learning structures as documentation centres and resource centres, are a theatre where actors are led to redefine their relationships, their places, their roles and their challenges. Often, when these technologies are presented as a lever for collective learning, the play in this revealing theatre has yet to be written, since the actors are learning together to reorganise the decor so as to replay their life stories and reproduce a known pedagogical model. From a multi-reference analysis of learning situations and work situations in middle school, high school and adult education, focusing on the relational aspect of learning, we can draw out a few guiding principles for a form of individual, collective and organisational learning that will not be based on individual and collective inquisitions

We an therefore describe them as being composite and we have analysed the characteristics which derive from this composite nature. Secondly, we have attempted to elucidate how meaning circulates inside this combination of various elements when the receptor is involved in the act of deciphering. Our hypothesis is that the receptor engages in an activity of intellection similar to the mechanisms of linguistic co-reference. We have broadened the definition of this concept to include the various forms of intersemioticity to the different composite messages. In view of making these co-referencial practices part of the basis at school to theoretical models based on this co-referential mechanisms are proposed for reachers which take into account the procedures used by children when deciphering various messages. We refer, in particular, to the procedures of erception and comprehension. In demonstrating the close interdependence of these two models we have checked there validity on the following collection of texts for young people crock rock by r. Scouvart (paris, ed. Повний текст джерелаThis thesis investigates the main reasons for the problems encountered in the teaching and learning of standard Arabic in Libya, specifically in speaking. Firstly I provide an overview of the evolution of Arabic and the development of Libyan dialects, while specifying the main differences between standard Arabic and Arabic dialects with regard to phonology, grammar and lexis. Secondly the thesis underscores the issues at hand in the teaching of Arabic, and suggests a reform of the way the language is taught in Libya, in view of trying to improve the overall level of standard Arabic whose present state is worrying. The thesis also addresses the Libyan educational system and the issue of Arabic, while stressing the failings of the system. I adopted two approaches. The first approach is theoretical whereby I analyzed present day research on linguistic problems in language teaching. The second is field work which provided statistical evidence thanks to an inquiry among learners and teachers. The whole issue is getting the learners to engage in an active learning process by a dynamic acquisition of language that takes into account cultural and cognitive features of the process. To guarantee efficiency and objectivity direct classroom observations were undertaken in order to identify effective practice in the Arabic classroom. I was thus in a position to observe firsthand the procedures adopted by the teachers and assess the learners' reactions

Повний текст джерелаThis thesis falls within the research that examines mediation schemes (Peraya 2003,2005, 2009) and more specifically on foreign language learning systems and their uses (Rabardel, 1995), in the context of diversification of practices and habits thanks to the expansion of information and communication technology in education. It seeks to question the notion of distance and particularly transactional distance (Moore, 1993), that is to say the relationship between structure of a learning system, dialogue and autonomy, in relation to the technical and pedagogical hybridism of a contemporary learning system. The research focuses on the process of appropriation (Paquelin, 2004, 2009) of a self-directed learning system of (the) English language, by drawing on the perception of openness from the actors (Jézégou, 2004 , 2005, 2007, 2010c) at a specific time of the conception, the training and that the learning. These perceptions are comparedto show movements in the appropriation process, then the blocks and catalysts are analyzed using the collected data tracked from the digital learning environment. The results suggest that there is a relation of dependence between structure, dialogue and autonomy and underpin this hierarchy within that particular learning system

This study was developed following the observation that websites are frequently used in the foreign language class yet little research has been done to examine the impact that the use of l websites has on the students’ acquisition of the language. The purpose of this research is to examine the impact of the websites on lexical learning in the foreign language classroom. The participants in this study are university students enrolled in a conversational language class, Their language level range from advanced beginners to advanced intermediate learners. Websites are integrated into the course curriculum through the use of Blackboard (a course management system) and studied outside of class to prepare for in class communicative tasks. The study presents a description of the communicative tasks carried out by the students as well as the Internet websites used in the execution of the communicative tasks. Comparisons are then made between the language produced by the learners during the tasks and the lexical items present on the websites

Three main lines are considered : a linguistic one articulates a reflection on the place of linguistics in the "didactization" of contents to be presented to the learner with regards to the new technologies specificity; a "semiologic" one gives new lights on how to introduce images in a learning software which integrates visual, textual and auditive "stimuli"; at least a didactic one sets out methodological steps of a multimedia approach for foreing languages teaching and learning

Повний текст джерелаThis thesis attempts to offer a model for the acquisition of knowledge and skills amongphysicians. The research undertook to explore the role of professional experiences, dailylife, exchanges between peers, and all other forms of so-called « informal » learning inenhancing the professional skills of medical students and physicians. The author laboredunder the following hypothesis: all learning involves both formal and informal aspects, and the informal aspects can be found in cooperative, experiential and reflexive typepedagogical constructs. Finally, « informal » and « non-formal » learning opportunitiescertainly play a role in the acquisition of knowledge and skills among health care professionals.Three teaching mechanisms frequently used during the 3rd cycle of initial medical trainingas well as in medical continuing education programs were made available to medicalstudents and physicians working in ambulatory setting. These tools, which encourageparticipants to marshal their own experiences, to reflect thoughtfully and to cooperatewith each other, can improve the skills of medical students and physicians. Each of the three teaching mechanisms studied herein, factoring in individual backgroundsand proficiencies, contain both formal and informal knowledge and skills which,as a whole, contributed to the transformation of the participants. However, it is importantto note that the distinction between formal and informal learning is primarily theoretical, and may simply depend on context or location. Therefore, rather than opposethem, it may be more appropriate to consider that these types of learning lie on a continuum

Повний текст джерелаThe objective of this thesis is to determine the role and the place of emotional and socioaffective dimensions in training system devised for managers. These dimensions were considered through a biopsychosocial approach that allowed us to regard emotions as a situated, embodied and social practice. By feeling or expressing these dimensions, the social individual is exposed to three relations: the self, to others and to the (in) ability to put him/herself into action. Grounded theory analysis was preferred, with an empirical, inductive and iterative approach. The main results indicate the importance of these dimensions in the training system. An important emotional work, both individual and collective, influences and feeds this system. In addition, laughter, if it has some benefits for participants, also fosters a social positioning of managers in the training group and the professional group of managers. Finally, interest constitutes a necessary emotion in the training engagement

Повний текст джерелаThe current study focuses on ways of developing the vocational skills of young apprentices who have little or no formal education in a traditional apprenticeship situation in informal Production units in Senegal (workshops in automobile mechanics, metal carpentry and refrigeration in three cities). The research is based on in situ observation times of this learning environment through work, on interviews with the "Masters" Masters of apprenticeship and with apprentices. The thesis describes the context of these training situations very different from those of the vocational lycée and gives an insight into the daily life of these workshops as places for the transmission of vocational skills. It analyses the modes of intervention of the teachers, their conceptions of learning and the meaning attributed to their actions. It also asks what impact these training situations have on apprentices

Повний текст джерелаProject-based functioning mode is more and more adopted by organisations to ensure their continued existence. This approach has, especially, led to the emergence of a profession much in demand, the project manager. Our research is dedicated to this population but seen from a specific point of view, focusing on competences for the smooth progress of the projects and their development modalities. Even if the literature recognizes the need for project managers to mobilize specific competences, the studies dedicated to the modalities and mechanisms supporting their development are still limited. The objective of this research is to understand how « good » project managers can be distinguished from others and how to improve their competences. Our research, aiming a comprehensive orientation, is based on an qualitative abductive approach combining empirical study and theory. At the end, the analysis focuses on a coherent and holistic approach integrating, on the one hand, the main project manager concerns for the smooth project’s progress, the behavioral and metacognitive aspects of competences that are needed and their development modalities especially in situ ones. On the other hand, the approach considers all actors involved in the competences development process (project manager, directors and training schools). Finally, it is a systemic approach for the competences development in project management that we agree with, since in this approach, everything is interconnected and affects the rest of the system

Повний текст джерелаSeveral verbal terms that refer to scientific concepts are also those used in everyday life. Therefore, before beginning the formal curriculum, learners have already built their own representation of some of these concepts. Formal-concept learning comes up against the existence of these preconceptions. Conceptual change is a research area studying the nature of these preconceptions and their modification after instruction. In this work, we propose to examine conceptual change by studying changes in the comprehension of two interdependent electrical concepts: closed circuit and intensity conservation of electric current in series circuit. These concepts were examined essentially in two situations. The first is familiar and aims to diagnose the subject's representations. The second situation is unfamiliar and aims to reveal the kinds of representations the subjects use to explain novel situations not usually taught. These concepts were examined for 24 novice adults before and after a two-week vocational training session in electricity. The methodology used to identify subject's representations consists of an analysis of verbalisations. These are collected with a "critical interview" method inspired by piaget's critical interrogation method. Verbalisations are analysed by describing representations in graph form and a series of symbols. Deduced on graphs, every series of symbols gives the subject's representation of intensity conservation and closed circuit notions. In the familiar situation, the results show an improvement of subject's representations especially for the closed circuit notion which seems more "acquired" than "intensity conservation". This latter notion is in contradiction with everyday experience (the materialization of electricity). This improvement suggests that conceptual change can be gradual. Nevertheless, the non-familiar situation results show the reappearance of some representations found before training. This reappearance suggests that the observed change was superficial and that the deep conceptual structures were not modified

Повний текст джерелаThis work demonstrates that despite its analogical shape making it easy to read, picture has to be taught as well as writing. First, history of visual representation shows supposed relations between picture and reality, truth, religion, education and knowledge ; this complexity justifies the need to teach and to learn how to have a good use of picture in the class practices. Then our works deals with integration of pictures in FLE methodologies, underlining advantages and limitations (especially the "language/image"relation and the complexity of visual perception). The aim is to put an emphasis on the relative lack of knowledge in the nature of pictures, source of wrong uses in class. Finally, we propose a training for reading the pictures for which we redefine roles and goals, and the skills the students must acquire. The whole should allow to achieving an optimal use of pictures in class whatever the aid used

Повний текст джерелаThis research deals with the relationship between the learning of british english as a second language and the development of personality. The problem of american english will not be tackled here. I intend to examine in detail a sample of french adolescents who have just finished their 7-year study in secondary school. This research is divided into three books. In book one, an excursion into the field of the psychology of personality, i shall endeavour to give a summary of all the books i have read these last 10 years in reference to this particular subject. That will lead me to assume a certain number of hypothese which will be invalidated or confirmed at the end of the research. In book two and book three, i shall conduct various investigations. Book two is called "pre-investigation through interviews"; book three "the investigation proper through the questionnaire". Book two recalls the interviews of a sample of adolescents (1st year-university students) that i made in 1985-1986. The methodology i used is that of the semidirective interview considered as an exploratory interview. All these interviews i recorded on tape, and from their analysis sprang the 1st version of the questionnaire

The drop out in open and distance learning (ODL) is an important issue both for the learners and training organizations, whether for economic, social or image (self-image or brand image). The accompanying needs of learners are both technical, cognitive and meta-cognitive, and affective. The latter particularly interest us in this thesis to understand the drop out. To take account of the social dimension of the person and his relationship with teachers, peers or family, we will discuss socio-emotional dimension. To better define this dimension and understand the issues of mediated communication and the distance in training (as a social and technical object), we mobilize some authors from different disciplines of the humanities: Researchers in science of information and communication , psychologists and researchers in science education. We propose to characterize the socio-emotional dimension, thought of as a system, by an integrative model of emotions and sentiments offered by all of these researchers. This aspect will be studied in relation to the notion of persistence, which is the opposite of drop out. We wonder what are the socio-emotional factors behind the drop out in distance learning, or conversely perseverance? The importance of interactions within (with teachers and other learners) and outside the training device (with family) and individual factors of learners (eg sociodemographic) are questioned. To answer these questions, an investigation into two parts (in beginning - expectations - and in end of training - experience) and semi-directive interviews were conducted. The first results reflect the differences between initial expectations and experiences of training, more or less important according learners. The drop out appears explainable by analyzing the socio-emotional dimension, especially in relations with the actors of the device. While some students suffer isolation due to a lack of relationship with teachers, others compensate by establishing a relationship with their peers. Finally, relatives occupy an essential place for learners who live in families and are waiting their support

Повний текст джерелаThe acquisition of a foreign language at an advanced level requires the control of a complex syntax. Can the teaching of advanced writing, be based on a linguistic ground, with taking in the same time into consideration the cerebral function of learning adult? What can we learn about the way that syntactic complexity is built by analyzing written productions? How can we deal with any difficulties that may rise? By trying to solve those problems, this thesis claims at the same time to the didactics and to the linguistics: the linguistics sets the framework of analysis for the syntactical contents of the sentences, while the didactics defines the choice, the objective of the phenomena analysis and the way of treating them, to facilitate a learning which allows the teacher and the learner to get closer, to make a commitment, to get involved

It accompanies a formation where alternating are formed starting from their experiment in socio-professional world. How can it live, itself, this experiencing formation process starting from its professional practice? This capacity seems useful to ensure the accompaniment of alternating. Which stake represents a formation proposing to him to reflect on its practice? It is by this return on its experiment that the trainer is likely to better include himself/understand in action. When its lived professional is in charge of testing events, its participation in a group of word opens a space of reception to him which can enable him to find and reinstate an open temporality.
