Анотація:
Purpose: Research of interaction between ditch fencing constructions and ground massive in negative temperature period. Methods: Pursuing nature measurements on active construction site and numerical modeling. Data on stress-strain state of “ditch fencing -ground massive” system were obtained; the comparison of experimental data with calculation results were made; the proposal on accounting for additional efforts against frost heave in the system “ditch fencing -ground massive” was formulated. Results: It was established that magnitude of forces of frost heave can be significant that says on the necessity to consider them while engineering of unfastened ditch fencings. It follows according to obtained calculation estimation of frost heave forces effecting fencings that it’s necessary not just to take into account a ground freezing depth but also negative temperature values which at, efforts in ditch fencing constructions can reach the maximum. Practical importance: At comparison of experimental data with retaining wall calculation results, the factors are determined which out of, the loss of bearing capability of spacer system particular elements is possible. There’re also obtained the detailed data on joint work of fencing and ground massive at active construction site in geotechnical conditions of Saint-Petersburg.

Анотація:
The article proposes a mechanism for determining the cost effective alternative for wall structures using the price index to the unit of heat conductivity of the material. This method makes it possible to find the optimum ratio of the required heat conductivity to the cost per square meter of the wall. For this purpose, the variants of wall constructions for low-rise building offered by organizations of the Yekaterinburg city were analyzed. The statistical data of the wall fencing materials using was given, and their main advantages were listed. The software heat engineering calculations for different variants of the wall fencing of the low-rise construction were carried out. During the calculation, the parameter of the heat transfer resistance was determined. To find the ratio of the price index per unit of heat transfer resistance, the cost per square meter of material was calculated and based on that the most cost effective alternative for low-rise construction in the Sverdlovsk region was selected.

Анотація:
The research analysis of interaction artificial retaining constructions with a non-uniform soil basis has been performed during the reconstruction of the transport structures. The mathematical model of soil semi-space research with the use of the nonlinear theory of elasticity is developed. The results of numerous researches of stress-strain state fencing constructions of the overpass in interaction with multilayer heterogeneous half-space and surfaces under the influence of band-pass loading are represented in the current paper.

This paper examines one aspect of the two-way cultural traffic between London and Padua: how the city of Padua figured in debates about the nature of masculinity in early modern London, especially its theatres. Invariably known primarily for its university—noted by Coryat and Moryson, a tourist attraction for Chaucer, Sidney, and Milton—the name “Padua” became synonymous with “erudition.” While learnedness was in theory a positive quality, the place of learnedness in a declining honor culture and its complex role in constituting masculinity remained a contentious subject. English writers by turns envied or scorned the learning acquired in Italy, and invocations of Padua and its link to rapier fencing resulted in a series of contradictory figures in the drama of Shakespeare and Webster: doctors, pedants, enlightened philosophers, lovers, murderers for hire.

.When building buildings and structures on unstable slopes, it becomes necessary to develop geotechnical technologies that ensure their stability. In addition, geotechnical techniques should be developed to ensure the safe operation of existing facilities built on them. Therefore, the main purpose of the work is to study one of the geotechnical technologies to ensure the stability of the fence fencing. As a rule, the opening of any foundation pit entails the emergence of additional efforts reducing the stability of the slopes. The task of ensuring the stability of the pit walls together with the loads on its bumps, as well as the general stability of the slope as a whole, is an urgent task of modern geotechnical construction. It is established that the structural solutions of the buried structures represent a special auxiliary containment structure, fence constructions, ground anchors that are arranged after the first stage of the excavation.

Обсяг магістерської роботи 113 – аркушів, кількість рисунків – 51, таблиць – 48, додатків – 2. Мета магістерської дисертації – оцінка теплозахисних властивостей огороджувальних конструкцій житлових будівель з урахуванням теплопровідних включень. Під час виконання магістерської дисертації було розглянуто наявні програмні та приладові інструменти, методики оцінки на прикладі об’єкту житлового фонду, підходи до зниження рівня теплопередачі огороджувальних конструкцій, економічний ефект від впровадження енергоефективних проектів з врахуванням результатів моделювання та його вплив на загальний енергетичний баланс будівлі. На основі розділу аналізу програмного забезпечення складено передумови та визначено потребу у впровадженні стартап проекту, для якого визначено потенційну стратегію виходу на ринок. Результати даної дисертації активно впроваджувалися у практичний процес енергетичного обстеження та можуть бути використані у сферах інжинірингу та проектування.
The volume master's thesis equals 113 pages, quantity of figures – 51, tables – 48, applications – 2. The purpose of the master's dissertation is the assessment of the heat-protective properties of the enclosing structures of residential buildings of non-standard constructions. During the implementation of the master's thesis, existing software and instrumental tools, valuation techniques on an example of a housing stock, approaches to reducing the level of heat transfer of fencing structures, the economic effect of implementing energy efficient projects taking into account the results of modeling and their impact on the overall energy balance of the building were considered. Based on the software analysis section, the preconditions have been created and the need for implementation of the project startup has been determined, for which a potential market entry strategy has been identified. The results of this dissertation have been actively implemented in the practical process of energy survey and can be used in the fields of engineering and design.

The policy of green fencing for building construction was started from “Taipei international flora expo.” in year 2011 and implemented through “Taipei Beautiful” series plan. However, the meanings of green fencing for building construct should not only beautify environment but also explore the effect it brings on in the aspect of academic research, example for the relationship between cost & green coverage and so on. This study is the research on current condition of green fencing for building construction in Taipei City and also discusses organization method and plating for green fencing of building construct, and focused on structure and planting about green (The calculation of the Green coverage should be based on premise: After the demolishing process and remove the plants into the place with sufficient soils). Integrate and organize the combination of structure system, and calculate the plant area and Green coverage depending on the category of plants. By then, through the evaluation, we could study and find the contribution of green benefit and the value of cost load. The conclusions about current condition and related data on the green fencing for build construct is as below: 1、Law amendments of the specification The laws are from” the traffic and public safety improvements of Taipei building constructions”, and this is for the local normative acts. The The specifications of the range is used the limit of the hardware , The law of the restricted content did not direct at the category of plant, the calculations for green coverage, the contribution of green benefit, and the value of cost load. 2、The benefit of the beautifying the environment is much stronger than the Greening. Even under the implement of government policy, we still have to clarify the real core value of the Construction Green Fencing. The government would understand the effects and relations between the green coverage and cost through considering green benefit when they hold the activities to beautify the environment. 3、Effectiveness of green construction fence valuation By the 4th chapter-benefit of evaluations of green and cost, the benefit of green is between 0.48 g-CO2/dollar ~1.72 g-CO2/dollar, it shows tht green fencing of building construct and benefit green are very small; In the aspect of cost loading, every form will be $NTD 581/ kg-CO2~$NTD 2,103/ kg-CO2, it means that the cost is very expensive, if it provides the green coverage for kg-CO2. So the implentemt for green fencing for building still have sense for beautifying the envornment, but it sets on the destroyment side. If the cost is high, but the effect can’t achieve the target, this study hope gonvenment can stop impletmenitng this policy, and don’t provide more CO2 from beatifying the environment. 4、The cost for Construction Green Fencing in Taipei City By the evaluations for green coverage and cost, the cost for the green fencing of building construct on current condition is around $NTD 3,000~$NTD 12,000 , the cost is at least $NTD 41,000,000 , it excludes the demolishing cost and the cost for following processes.

Whilst some valid and justified arguments have been put forward in favor of ring fencing, that is, constructing a fire-wall between consumer and investment banks, and that such activities can be achieved without restructuring banks into separate legal entities, the Liikanen Report highlights why there is need for such re-structuring. As well as considering the merits of ring fencing and the establishment of separate legal activities and entities, this chapter aims to highlight why a suitable model aimed at mitigating risks of contagion can to a large extent, be justified on a cost-benefit analysis basis. Furthermore, the chapter ultimately concludes that even though a greater degree of separation of legal entities and activities persist with the model which is referred to as “total separation”, a certain degree of independence between bank activities would also be necessary under ring fencing if its purposes and objectives are to be fulfilled.

This chapter argues that the European migration crisis just provided more ground for nationalist populist politics of the Fidesz government of Hungary. Using a systematic content analysis of the official speeches of the PM Viktor Orbán since 2010, the chapter shows this new conception of national identity mobilizes against the collapse of traditional national values as well as the liberal rationalism embodied by EU institutions and puts Hungarian nationals above all others. In this setting, the discursive construction and use of ‘otherness’ in public discourse stand for the representations of migrants as a deviant groups of people, enemies of the Hungarian nation, of a threatening ideology/religion that must be opposed. Citizenship is hijacked as a civilizational/cultural marker to distinguish ‘us’ from the ‘other’. Europe and its common governance systems, secular organization, religious tolerance, and liberal foundation only exacerbate this threat, making the EU become ‘the other’, against what the national identity must be protected.

Since the early 1980’s TransCanada PipeLines Ltd. (TransCanada) has employed a number of stream bank stabilization measures in an effort to minimize the loss of fish habitat and to reduce the risk of long term erosion and sedimentation. Traditional stream crossing stabilization involved the re-contouring of streambanks to a stable slope (generally 2:1) and then lining the banks with rock armour and seeding. TransCanada began using alternate techniques, primarily log-walls in 1981. Since 1981 TransCanada has evolved the use stream bank stabilization techniques to include bio-stabilization techniques such as live log-walls, fascines, live staking, and brush layering in combination with more traditional structures. In 2004, TransCanada initiated a two year project to assess the success of biostabilization techniques used on a number of watercrossing throughout the its’ Alberta System. A total of 22 stream crossings were assessed in 2004 and 24 in 2005. Sites assessed were located the foothills and boreal forest areas of Alberta. In the majority of cases the biostabilization methods utilized were still intact and functioning as planned by providing stable streambanks and fish habitat. Several factors appeared to be influencing the value of the measures employed. Cattle grazing on sites where fencing did not exclude cattle from the crossing site resulted in destruction or reduced value of the measures employed. Uncontrolled All Terrain Vehicle activity resulted in a reduced value of the measure employed. Implementation of biostabilization techniques in the winter months (frozen ground conditions) created challenges in implementation of biostabilization measures resulting in less favorable results compared to other sites constructed in early and late fall. Seeding to control surface erosion also appeared to affect overall success of woody vegetation used as part of the biostabilization techniques. Biostabilization techniques employed by TransCanad have been effective in stabilizing watercrossings and providing fish habitat. In designing biostabilization systems for watercrossings consideration should be given to overall stabilization objectives, stream flow information, fish and fish habitat values, and likelihood of success given the geographic region, timing of construction, and surrounding land-use pressures.
