AbstractThe special education teaching profession has experienced longstanding problems with shortages of qualified teaching staff and with high turnover rates of these staff. A variety of issues are related to these problems, including the nature of the support that early career special education teachers receive. In this case study research, the use of external mentoring support to two early career special education teachers in their first year of teaching was examined. This mentoring support was provided by an experienced special educator who did not work at the teachers' schools. The results suggest that external forms of mentoring support may offer important advantages over traditional, site-based forms of support.

Transnational actors are critical for financing programs and generating awareness around climate change adaptation in cities. However, it is unclear whether transnational support actually enables more authority over adaptation actions and whether outcomes address wide-ranging development needs. In this article, I compare experiences from three cities in India—Surat, Indore, and Bhubaneswar—and link local political agency over adaptation with their supporting transnational funders. I find that adaptation governance involves powers of agency over directing bureaucratic practices, public finance, spatial strategies, and institutional culture. A city’s ability to exert these powers then yields different patterns of adaptation. However, political agency is circumscribed by a combination of historical political economic constraints and emerging transnational resources that promote specific forms of political meaning and procedures. The presence of external support therefore paradoxically constrains the governance autonomy of cities. This opens up new opportunities for development dependency—that is, ones that mirror neoliberal critiques of foreign aid—within the global marketplace for climate finance.

Relevance. A new wave-like combined (complex) coating design for large-span buildings - a cylinder-plate-cable-stayed roof, combining three types of structures: a cylindrical shell of zero Gaussian curvature, plate and cable-stayed (hanging) roofs are presented. This combination of structures and materials for roof large areas was not chosen by chance. The cable works in tension with its entire cross section only, and the cylindrical shell and plate work in two (longitudinal and transverse) planes. In combination with external influence, they create the necessary design strength, taking into account, at the same time, a rational choice of materials (steel and reinforced concrete). New architectural and constructive solutions of a large-span building with a cylinder-plate-cable-stayed roof are proposed taking into account the different geometric shapes of the external support contour in a form of a semicircle, semiellipse, etc. The aim of the work is to analyze the influence of the external support contour (semicircle, semiellipse, and other forms) on the spatial work of internal forces in the combined cylinder-plate-cable-stayed roof of a large-span building. Methods. Results of static numerical analysis of spatial models of large-span buildings with different types of external supporting contour in the centralized roofs were made in the FEMAP with NX NAS-TRAN software package. This complex belongs to the CAE - class which implements the finite element method (FEM) and allows on the basis of the physical and geometric nonlinearity of the deformation of structures. Results. Calculation study carried out comparative numerical analysis of the stress-strain state of a complex cylinder-plate-cable-stayed roof with different outlines of the support contours on the effect of vertical loads. This determines their rational choice given due consideration to the total cost and useful area of the building. The results of calculating large-span buildings with cylinder-plate-cable-stayed roofs for horizontal (wind) load, on the basis of determination of aerodynamic coefficients, are supposed to be published in the next article.

We present a variational formulation of electrodynamics using de Rham even and odd differential forms. Our formulation relies on a variational principle more complete than the Hamilton principle and thus leads to field equations with external sources and permits the derivation of the constitutive relations. We interpret a domain in space-time as an odd de Rham 4-current. This permits a treatment of different types of boundary problems in an unified way. In particular we obtain a smooth transition to the infinitesimal version by using a current with a one point support.

During the research theoretical provisions on the external economic safety at the national and supranational levels in the conditions of integration are added. In article the problems in agricultural production development leading to emergence of threats to security of member states of EEU are systematized. On the example of development of subsector of gardening the dynamics of the prices of products of a ploovodstvo, import of landing material and products of fruit growing is shown. The revealed threats can lead to closing of the markets for the Russian agricultural products that limits achievement of target values of volume of export. The directions of support of export of agricultural products in the EEU countries, the used financial and non-financial instruments of support are analysed. For creation of equal conditions of managing agricultural producers in EEU need to unify forms and methods of the state support on pricing, insurance, subsidizing, investment and to improve them. In the conclusion in relation to subsectors of agriculture measures for decrease in level of unauthorized export, the state support of purchase only of domestic breeding and selection production, strengthening of control of an epizootic situation and quarantine measures, to regulation of seasonal deliveries of products are proposed.

Introduction. The article is based on the findings collected by monitoring the Russian Сore Shared Research Facilities (CSRF) and Large-Scale Research Facilities (LSRF). The monitoring is carried out annually by RIEPL specialists on behalf of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia. The author suggests that the CSRFs and LSRFs sponsored by the state under the federal target programme Research and Development in Priority Areas of Development in Science and Technology in Russia for 2014-2021 stand to deliver high performance across the key indicators, namely the number of external users, value of the work performed for their benefit, and actual workload on research equipment in the interests of external users. Monitoring Tools. The empirical basis of the study is the reporting data for 2014-2020, obtained from CSRFs and LSRFs representatives through the use of the web forms on the portal http://ckp-rf.ru. Results. In the group of sponsored CSRFs, the high growth rate in the number of external users and the average value of the work completed was due to the expansion of the range of services through the use of equipment purchased under the Federal Target Programme. The growth rate of the actual workload proved to be lower compared to the other groups. In the group of sponsored LSRFs, only the actual workload values showed some growth. The growth rate in the number of external users was lower compared to the non-sponsored facility group; the growth rate in the value of work performed did not change from the 2014 baseline. It is, therefore, concluded that there is a need to abandon the competitive financing of shared use infrastructure in favour of targeted financing. Conclusion. The results may be useful in assessing the state of the Russian research infrastructure and divising guidelines for its continued support.

Abstract This article analyzes the success factors for external engagement aimed at fostering peace in conflict-affected states. It focuses on a set of three factors that have been under-researched so far: the strategic prioritization between stability and democracy, the degree of coordination, and the mode of interaction. We compare international engagement in six countries—Burundi, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Nepal, Senegal, and Timor-Leste. These countries all struggled with violent conflict and experienced a democratic transition in the period 2000–2014. We use an innovative approach to assess the impact of external engagement by analyzing twenty critical junctures in the domestic political processes of these countries mainly linked to elections, constitution-writing processes, and peace agreements, as well as disarmament, demobilization, and reintegration. Based on over 300 interviews, we find that prioritizing stability over democratization is problematic, good international coordination has positive effects, and preferring cooperative forms of interaction over coercion is mostly but not always useful. In discussing these general features of international support, this article contributes to the broader discussion of factors that explain the impact external actors can have on transformative political processes after conflict.

The article is devoted to the analysis of the specifics of PR support for the "third mission" of the university. The paper considers the forms and methods of PR-support, outlines the prospects for the development of this direction of PR. Also, the generally accepted models of building public relations as basic for the implementation of PR-support for the activities of universities are also characterized. Highlighting internal (university staff, students, internal units) and external (with stakeholders at different levels) communications of modern universities, the importance of distinguishing external and internal PR tools for building communication is shown. Special emphasis is placed on characterizing the prospects for the development of PR support for the socially significant activity of universities, their involvement in the activities of communities of different levels.

Despite the high level of interest in open data, little research has evaluated how municipal government evaluates the success of their open data programs. This research presents results from interviews with eight Canadian municipal governments that point to two approaches to evaluation: internal and external. Internal evaluation looks for use within the data generating government, and for support from management and council. External evaluation tracks use by external entities, including citizens, private sector, or other government agencies. Three findings of this work provide guidance for the development of open data evaluation metrics. First, approaches to tracking can be both passive, via web metrics, and active, via outreach activities to users. Second, value of open data must be broadly defined, and extend beyond economic valuations. Lastly, internal support from management or council and the contributions of many organization employees towards the production of open data are important forms of self-evaluation of open data programs.

The main focus here is the paleobiogeography and paleoecology of Mesozoic-Cenozoic Brachiopoda, mostly the forms referred to as articulated brachiopods. These are the forms I have worked on primarily for the past two decades. To put these creatures in context some attention should be paid to their evolutionary developments during this time (Fig. 1). The articulated brachiopods that continued into the Mesozoic from the Paleozoic are the rhynchonellides (internally with two processes or prongs, crura, to support the lophophore, Fig. 2.1; examples of external morphology shown in Figs. 3.1–3.5, 4.1); the terebratulides with a brachidium in the form of a loop to support the lophophore (“short-looped” in the Terebratulidina, Figs. 2.2, 2.3, 3.6–3.8, 4.2–4.5; “long-looped” in the Terebratellidina, Figs. 2.4, 2.5, 3.9–3.13); and two forms with a spiral lophophore support, the athyridides and spiriferides (these latter two both become extinct during the Mesozoic; Figs. 2.6, 2.7, 3.14–3.16). The thecideides are micromorphic, cryptic, articulated brachiopods (Fig. 3.17) that have much-debated origins (Baker, 1990; Jaecks, 2000).

Community-based management is an increasingly important form of governance and control of forests and other natural resources. In Indonesia, government policy aims to expand the role of communities in controlling and managing forests. Since the 1970s, many different forms of community forestry (CF) have been implemented in Indonesia but there has been little systematic analysis of these different approaches. This paper presents a typology of CF in Indonesia to present academic knowledge of CF in a form that is useful for practice. The typology acknowledges the networked nature of communities and was developed through qualitative analysis of 311 documents representing 112 cases of CF. Two dimensions emerged that illustrate the evolution of CF: a 'formality' dimension and a 'support' dimension. The former indicated the degree of government authorisation and the latter indicated the degree and type of support provided to communities from governments, businesses, NGOs or other external actors. Nine types of CF were identified, six formal, two partially formalised and one informal. An analysis of these types revealed there are mixed benefits for communities in formalising their access to forests and that the challenges, and therefore needs for support, differ markedly between communities. This study provides a systematic basis for researchers aiming to understand the processes of transition to CF, and for policy makers and practitioners aiming to implement CF in Indonesia and elsewhere.

We examined whether coach involvement moderated the predictive effect of coach autonomy support on motivation both directly and indirectly via need satisfaction. 142 soccer players (106 female; 12-15 years) completed measures of coach autonomy support and involvement, need satisfaction, and motivation. For intrinsic motivation and identified regulation, need satisfaction mediated the effect of autonomy support, but there was also a moderated direct effect whereby autonomy support had a positive effect only when involvement was moderate to high. Autonomy support also positively predicted external regulation and negatively predicted amotivation via need satisfaction. Coach-athlete relationships that are both autonomy supportive and involved are associated with more adaptive forms of motivation, and findings suggest that lack of autonomy support may undermine need satisfaction and motivation.

This study tests the impact of corporate venturing (CV) forms on the sustainability of pioneering advantage. Using the Miles and Covin 2002 classification of CV forms, this study shows that performance of early entrants is twice as much higher than performance of lagers. However, the effect of parent support prior to entry is substantially larger than the pioneering effect. Companies entering a market via direct external CV perform twenty five to fifteen times better than companies entering via direct internal CV. Hence, the sustainability of first mover advantage is challenged in the face of new entrants with superior resources.

Reality monitoring refers to the process of discriminating between internally and externally generated information. Two different tasks have often been used to assess this ability: (a) memory for perceived versus imagined stimuli; and (b) memory for participant- versus experimenter-performed operations. However, it is not known whether these two reality monitoring tasks share neural substrates. The present study involved use of a within-subjects functional magnetic resonance imaging design to examine common and distinct brain mechanisms associated with the two reality monitoring conditions. The sole difference between the two lay in greater activation in the medial anterior prefrontal cortex when recollecting whether the participant or the experimenter had carried out an operation during prior encoding as compared to recollecting whether an item had been perceived or imagined. This region has previously been linked with attending to mental states. Task differences were also reflected in the nature of functional connectivity relationships between the medial anterior and right lateral prefrontal cortex: There was a stronger correlation in activity between the two regions during recollection of self/experimenter context. This indicates a role for the medial anterior prefrontal cortex in the monitoring of retrieved information relating to internal or external aspects of context. Finally, given the importance of reality monitoring to understanding psychotic symptoms, brain activity was related to measures of proneness to psychosis and schizotypal traits. The observation of significant correlations between reduced medial anterior prefrontal signal and scores on such measures corroborates these theoretical links.

Recent results on the relationship between external economies and local public goods may be summarised as follows. Marshallian external economies are at the core of paths of development in vital local productive systems, such as Marshallian industrial districts or similar forms. They are partly external to the resources organized by single specialised firms and largely dependent on the embeddedness of the firm in the system and its various forms of division of labour. Exchanges need to integrate the contributions of the specialised producers, but all sorts of difficulties hinder them if a joint access to ‘local’ public goods does not help producers. Markets do not provide for them easily, nor top-down State planning does. Mechanisms and processes of local governance and place leadership, possibly combined with social customs and conventions, are an important support to local integration. The paper comes back to this kernel in the theories of local development, proposing an extended framework of relevant local public goods, qualified as specific public goods, club goods, and place-based common-pool resources, all sharing “commons”-like features. Factors hindering virtuous circles between external economies and specific commons are considered as well, in particular those related to different structures of interests

The cumulative number of HIV & AIDS in Central Kalimantan Province continues to increase where in 2017 there were 807 reported cases. Based on observations of the situation faced by people with HIV & AIDS is very complex, in addition to having to deal with their own disease, they also face stigma and discrimination that affects the low motivation of patients' lives. Most sufferers experience physical, psychological and social problems that require comprehensive interventions (medical, nutrition, social support and psychotherapy/counseling. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of social support on the motivation of living ODHA in Central Kalimantan Province. This type of research is an observational study with a cross-sectional study approaching. Results of research conducted on life motivation from participants obtained extrinsic motivation and intrinsic motivation themes Social support received by people with HIV / AIDS Participants have the same view that they get various forms of social support. And the following forms social support that researchers obtained from interviews with participants formed in the themes, namely physical support, emotional support, security support, skills support, social support and economic support Source of social support obtained by people with HIV / AIDS. In this study, the theme was obtained sources of external support and internal support sources. Four social themes are expected by HIV / AIDS sufferers. The theme is facilities to meet economic needs, health facilities, health support and community views of people with HIV / AIDS positive.

It is formalized here that an element of direct product group belongs to its direct sum if and only if support of the element is finite. In the third section, product map and sum map are prepared. In the fourth section, internal and external direct sum are defined. In the last section, an equivalent form of internal direct sum is proved. We referred to [23], [22], [8] and [18] in the formalization.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to seek to investigate Etienne Wenger's theory of social learning in a community of practice by modeling two simultaneous aspects of teachers’ collaborative learning: their engagement in close-knit internal groupings and engagement with colleagues that work externally to the core group. These two learning processes are related to two social-cognitive outcomes: teachers’ organizational commitment and their sense of impact. Design/methodology/approach – The study investigated a field sample of 246 individual teachers from ten Finnish primary schools. Hypotheses were developed and tested by using multiple regression and structural equation modeling. Findings – The results indicate that local engagement supports teachers’ organizational commitment. However, this form of collaborative learning behavior did not support their sense of impact. Moreover, external engagement with trusted colleagues supported sense of impact but not organizational commitment. Research limitations/implications – The study reinforces the importance of teachers’ engagement in communities of practice. Specifically, the results suggest two specific social-cognitive outcomes related to two different learning processes situated in teachers’ community of practice. It would be highly valuable to replicate this study in various multi-level settings. Practical implications – The study highlights teachers’ engagement in communities of practice as a source of their motivational basis and their commitment. Findings recommend school leaders to facilitate internal and external learning communities. Originality/value – The study provides empirical evidence regarding the partial relationships between teachers’ local and external learning engagement and the social-cognitive outcomes of these forms of learning behaviors.

Innovation conduce to getting competitive advantage and they increase efficiency and total company performance. They are generally deemed as a key development factor. They represent group of activities leading to successful production, absorption and using economical and social innovation. Well managed and successfully introduced innovation into the market represents the tool for the companies, by means of which they can reach competitive advantages, enabling their prosperity in the slump. The urgency of synergic entrepreneurship as a key support of innovation is point out on a base of primary research in South Moravian manufacturing companies. As it is mentioned in this paper, most of respondents are open to external cooperation in innovation activities. Furthermore, they admit that without this collaboration they will not be able to produce any innovative products. Suitable forms, which can be utilized in our companies, are carried out with the help of secondary research in the article as well. Their accomplishments and disabilities are compared in accordance with local and foreign experts’ theories. What follows is a discussion about requirements of strategic partnership success and advantages in the area of innovation.

This article is an attempt to study the awareness of talented youth about the forms of support for their own initiatives. In 2020, specialists and students of the Yaroslavl state pedagogical university named after K. D. Ushinsky conducted a study that showed significant differences in the awareness of young people about the opportunities for implementing their own initiatives and existing support experience. The work presents the experience of state support for talented youth, analyzed legal sources and organizational forms of work with talented youth, using the example of the Yaroslavl region. The work is based on the research of scientists such as A. V. Batarshev, A. D. Boroday, I. M. Ilyinsky, S. V. Maksimova, N. S. Zlobin, M. S. Kagan and other scientists. The work analyzes the activities of federal authorities to support talented youth, talks about forms of grant support, defines and approaches to the concept of "talented youth." The guidance provided by professionals in support of talented youth focuses on youth motivation and selforganization. Young people, first of all, highlight the need for external support, for example, more free open workshops, opening sites, sharing experience with other areas, taking into account the individual characteristics of each; accessibility, wide dissemination of information in this field. Others consider it important, first of all, internal factors depending, first of all, on the person himself – work on themselves, clearly set goals, believe in yourself, not be afraid to express their ideas, be more active, etc. The study made it possible to highlight problems in the information support of youth initiatives and present the experience of specialists in improving the system of supporting initiatives of talented youth.

In this study I examined whether or not the relationship between active procrastination and academic motivation is distinct from the relationship between passive procrastination and academic motivation in order to distinguish between 2 types of procrastination within a self-determination theoretical framework. Data were collected from 278 Korean undergraduates. The findings indicated that high identification and low external regulation increased active procrastination and high external regulation and low intrinsic motivation increased passive procrastination. The findings also showed that active procrastination was inversely proportional to passive procrastination. These findings support the idea that, compared to passive procrastination, active procrastination might be related to relatively autonomous forms of motivation, and might be a form of delay distinct from passive procrastination.

We examine the resource mobilization efforts undertaken by a social venture to organize the 2003 Special Olympics World Summer Games and bring about a change in social attitudes towards the cause of learning and intellectual disabilities. In contrast to previously advanced views of social ventures as powerless actors, we find instead that they are able to leverage the visibility afforded by large-scale events to create positions of mutual dependence, which allow them to access broad support bases and assert themselves in relationships with external parties. Specifically, we find that resource mobilization involves six distinct tactics rooted in the softer forms of power, namely, attraction and inducement. The use of these soft-power tactics depends upon the social venture’s goal at different moments of the relationship with its partners and the level of support available from each external party. Our elaborated theory highlights both the role and limitations of soft power in mobilizing resources and managing relationships.

As democracy’s global tailwinds shift to headwinds, scholars have an opportunity to better understand how experience with even superficial forms of democratic institutions across a diverse set of contexts influences citizen behavior when formal democratic institutions erode or disappear. This shift also provides the opportunity to examine whether citizen movements alone—absent external support—are sufficient to check newly emboldened autocrats.

Research has overlooked the influence of countries’ colonizing histories on how present-day diversity shapes forms of social cohesion. Ethnic boundary theories suggest that legacies of colonizing external territories could strengthen the boundaries that separate natives from foreign migrants. Alternatively, colonization could simply give countries greater experience with foreign populations over time, thus diffusing boundaries through sustained integration processes. This article investigates how history shapes diversity’s influence on horizontal and vertical forms of social cohesion: support for welfare to reduce hierarchical class differences and trust of the generalized other. Using 2002 to 2014 European Social Survey and country history data, I find that while diversity often directly reduces both welfare support and trust, histories of conquest moderate this relationship. Specifically, diversity’s negative influence on social cohesion outcomes gradually diminishes with the occupation of foreign territories, in contrast to their colonization. While prior research emphasizes diversity as a straightforward negative force, current findings show that it is shaped by historical episodes of symbolic boundary making.

Given scientific research is devoted to the consideration of factors influencing educational (learning) motivation. One such factor is the assessment of academic achievements. The difficulties of obtaining an objective assessment in educational practice are noted and possible ways to overcome them are shown, including through external (independent) standardized testing. Authentic assessment requires special training and the creation of an appropriate base, this problem can be solved in the form of organizational and methodological support of teachers by external professional centers providing assessment in the form of an educational audit. The data of external testing and subsequent questionnaires are presented, allowing to judge about changes in the educational motivation of school students in the assessment process. The need to identify the progress of individual achievements in the educational process requires the development and introduction of new assessment forms that create the confidence of students in assessments and affect educationalmotivation.

SummaryMechanical testing of five acrylics was performed to evaluate material property differences that might affect their use as support rods in external skeletal fixation (ESF). Flexural and torsional analysis demonstrated that differences existed in the stiffness of the acrylics with polyethyl/polymethylmethacrylate products being the stiffest and a polyethylmethacrylate product being least stiff. Increasing the amount of inert filler also increased the stiffness. The inherent porosity of the individual acrylics did not have an effect on their mechanical properties. These differences in stiffness might affect fracture healing by affecting the amount of primary or secondary osteosynthesis that occurs.Different polymeric forms of acrylic possess mechanical properties that influence their stiffness. Based on flexural and torsional analysis, these properties may differ significantly and affect external skeletal fixator stiffness.Presented at the twenty-fourth annual meeting of the Veterinary Orthopedic Society, Big Sky, MT March 2-8, 1997.

The research deals with improving methods and systems of control over power systems based on intellectualization of dispatch decision support. There are results of developing a principal trigger scheme of the decision support system algorithm. The proposed model of algorithm visualization in the form of a trigger state network of the computer system provides interaction with power objects of mining and metallurgical complexes and regions. A new interpretation of components of the network trigger model is introduced. The model is interactively related to both user-operator actions and states of power system components. With that, the state of the automata model is associated with fulfillment a set of metarules to control the logical inference. There are new forms of presenting algorithms controlling knowledgebases that interact with the external environment and aggregate primitives of states, triggers and transactions of operations and generalize standard visualization languages of algorithms are proposed. This allows unification of smart systems interacting with the external environment. The authors develop models for representing knowledgebase processing algorithms interacting with power objects that combine states, triggers and transaction operations and generalize standard visualization languages of algorithms. This enables description of functioning database algorithms and their event model, which provides a reliable unification of smart systems interacting with control objects of mining and metallurgical power systems. The research solves the problem of building a knowledgebase and a software complex of the dispatch decision support system based on the data of computational experiments on the power system scheme. The research results indicate practical effectiveness of the proposed approaches and designed models

The construction of socio-cultural stigmatization on the understanding of mental disorders is particularly interesting to study in the people with mental disorders who received treatment at the Mental Hospital. Mental disorder is a disease caused by the chaos of thoughts, perceptions and behavior in which the individualaare not able to adjust to themselves, other people, society and the environment. By applying the cultural studies viewpoint that is siding with the oppressed, the study aims to determine the forms and factors causing the stigma of people with mental disorders. The research method used is observation, in-depth interviews and life history data collection. The collected data were then analyzed using qualitative descriptive and interpretative. The results showed that the forms of stigma with mental disorders are divided into two, namely the public stigma (stigma derived from the community) and self-stigma (stigma comes from the patient and his own family). The forms of the public stigma include rejection, exclusion, and violence. The self-stigma takes the forms, among others, prejudice, guilt, fear and anger. Factors behind the stigma of mental disorders are external and internal factors. External factors include, among others, the madness is a disgrace, the myth of mental illness, and people's belief regarding the role of dukun. While the internal factors are family knowledge of the etiology of mental disorders, lack of family support and feelings of shame.

The article is devoted to an urgent criminological problem connected with the insufficiently controlled and illegal external labor migration into the Russian Federation, which poses a considerable threat to its national interests and public safety. The author presents and analyzes new statistical data regarding the qualitative and quantitative characteristics of crimes committed by labor migrants in Russia as well as their other criminologically relevant characteristics, he singles out and describes economic, psychological, legal and socio-political prerequisites and factors of crimes committed by labor migrants in Russia. It is noted that modern Russian society is characterized by worsening criminogenic situation and processes that lead to hostile and aggressive behavior and intolerance towards labor migrants, which exacerbates both the criminal situation and the interethnic and interfaith conflicts and increases the manifestations of everyday xenophobia, migrant phobia, and nationalism from the locals. The author draws attention to the fact that criminogenic factors in the labor migrants’ environment are mainly connected with a low degree of social adaptation, acculturation and integration of labor migrants into the Russian social and cultural environment due to their poor knowledge of the Russian language, history and culture, the basics of Russian legislation, traditions and customs of social interaction, the absence of a substantial and constant intercultural dialogue or productive information exchange, comprehensive and resourced state and municipal projects and programs aimed at the socialization, successful integration, and social support of labor migrants. In this connection, the author suggests new, effective and optimal anti-criminogenic directions and formats of integration and adaptation work with labor migrants living and working in the Russian Federation that could improve their law abidance, general and legal culture, responsible attitude to social norms; the author also outlines prospective measures of general and special prevention of crimes committed by external migrants.

The article deals with historical aspects of the cooperative development from primary local forms to national and supranational cooperative structures. The author substantiates differences between cooperative and commercial corporate vertically integrated organizational forms in assigning the final economic result. The main factors of longevity and viability of cooperative forms are identified and substantiated, which include the principles of economic democracy, transparency, and solidarity in cooperatives; the unity of interests of cooperative members as its owners and cooperative services customers; the ability of cooperatives to adapt to rapidly changing external conditions; the impact of cooperatives on price stabilization and food affordability, which characterizes them as both economic and socio-humanistic essence; and solid economic and social connection with communities. The objective conditionality of the state support has been proved for the development of the cooperative movement as a factor in preserving the farming type of economy, promoting the rural population, the development of the rural areas, and strengthening the country’s food sovereignty. The author proves the conformity of cooperative forms of economic activity organization to the principles of sustainable development, which provides them with demand in the future of the agricultural sector. Generalized foreign practice of forming a favorable institutional and legal environment for the cooperative development, their financial support at the formation stage, staffing, and informational and advisory support. The main causes of the slow revival of the cooperative movement in the domestic agricultural sector are explained, and guidelines and ways of their elimination are outlined. Among them, the author identifies as urgent the aligning of domestic cooperative legislation with Western European legal practice and the introduction of long-term state support programs for the development of cooperative movement in Ukraine’s agricultural sector.

The article examines the features of the expression of psycho-emotional conflict within a person within the framework of external and internal loci of control through the creation of graphic art objects. The authors argue that communicative strategies for resolving problems in stressful situations and seeking social support are associated with the question of the individual's ability to independently solve emerging problem situations and find internal resources to overcome them by releasing psychoemotional stress, based on the structure of the cognitive sphere of a person, the characteristics of his perception and thinking. Typical external semantics of graffiti consists in an attempt to convince others of the hopelessness of being. The internal locus of control is associated with the conceptual sphere of social activity and is embodied in a wide variety of imperative forms, including a call, order, request, advice, and so on. In other words, the psycho-hermeneutics of graffiti is conditioned, on the one hand, by communicative and pragmatic strategies of social empathy (internal locus of control), and, on the other hand, by the conflict of the individual with society and the desire for spiritual and moral escapism, escape from reality to self-isolation and loneliness (external locus of control). The study proposes a classification of graphic art objects, which is based on the form of public expression of the individual's inner world, which is associated with the implementation of the compensatory-pragmatic function of graffiti as a universal code of modern urban communication.

The research has shown that communicative factors are placed among the clearest predictors of achievement by university lecturers of high self-fulfilment in their profession. It is found out that the most significant factor in achieving of high level professional self-fulfilment (general, internal and external) by these specialists is the «creativity in professional communications» predictor. The main directions, communicative means and forms of self-fulfilment psychological support are outlined on the result basis.

Results of the research determine that the University's image is implemented in an attempt to identify the needs and expectations of consumers, as well as to achieve a high level of compliance with these needs and expectations. The University's image creates a qualitatively new type of competitive advantage, forms an appropriate business reputation, a certain representation of the organization, which is achieved through PR support of the quality management system. Structurally, the process of forming the University's image is based on the established connection of managing the quality of educational services with the formation of the image and PR support, as well as the connection and influence of the content of the internal and external image of the University on the functioning of its system of managing the quality of educational services. The use of image formation tools and PR support of educational services quality management systems involves the consistent formulation of the current internal and external vision of the university, its correction in accordance with the provisions of the desired image vision model, the development and justification of the university image concept, the formation of a systematic image model, planning and implementation of the established image model of the university.

Employment, either by an academic entity or a hospital, is increasingly becoming a feature of surgical practice. Independent practices receive indirect subsidies to support their revenue. A survey of the extent of employment and the forms of indirect subsidies by which hospitals support independent practices, not previously done, would be of interest to all clinicians. A 2012 Internet survey of pediatric surgeons, asking practice description, hospital support, governance and management, conditions of compensation, selected contractual obligations, and arrangements for part-time coverage was conducted. Response rate was 21.8 per cent (253 of 1,163). Employed surgeons comprised 80 per cent: 60 per cent academic (152 of 253) and 20 per cent nonacademic (51). Only eight per cent (19) were in private practice. Half (47% [106 of 226]) had administrative tasks. One-fifth (20% [45 of 223]) was in a system without physician input in governance. The rest were in practices with physicians involved in management: on boards of directors (35% [78]), in management positions (31% [69]), and entirely physician-run (14% [31]). Most salaries were independent of external benchmarks. Productivity measures, when applied to compensation (54% [117 of 218]), used relative value units (71% [83 of 117]) more often than revenue production (29% [34]). Patient contact minimums (4% [nine of 217]) and penalties were less common (20% [43 of 218]) than bonus provisions (53% [116 of 218]). Most surgeons in private practice (75% [14 of 19]) received nonsalary hospital support. Pediatric surgery reflects the current trend of physician employment and hospital subsidies. Surgeon participation in governance and strategic system decisions will be necessary as healthcare systems evolve.

This article presents a study of supported social enterprise, a hybrid organization that not only either employs or trains members of marginalized social groups, often on disability pensions and social assistance, but also has social welfare characteristics. These organizations sell services and goods, like other forms of social enterprise, but rely heavily on external support from government programs, foundations, and a parenting nonprofit. The article presents an empirical study using a survey and interviews of participants in these organizations from Ontario, Canada, and notes that even though they earn minimally from work in these organizations, they view the experience positively. The final discussion centers on the concept of supported social enterprise and raises the question as to whether such organizations should be viewed primarily as a form of social enterprise or as a modified form of social welfare organization.

As new ICT products appear on the market, many managers choose to adopt them without clear evidence of the productivity benefits often claimed by vendors. Some may trust or hope that the promised benefits do eventually materialize, but others may adopt them because of ICT's symbolic meaning. This article investigates the links between ICT, corporate image, and purchase decisions or other forms of support among prospective customers, a previously neglected external stakeholder group. This article presents an experiment testing the links between IT, corporate image, and support behavior among customers. The results show that there is a strong link between conspicuous use of IT artifacts and corporate image leading to support behavior among customers. Social meaning of IT indirectly affects customer support and firm survival. This explains why savvy managers adopt new IT products that are consistent with their desired corporate images without clear evidence of the productivity benefits. Implications for theory, practice and future research are discussed.

Past research has implicitly considered high-growth firms as a homogeneous category of businesses, however, in reality, they use different forms of growth: domestic and international geographical expansion, the launch of new related and unrelated products, product improvement, client retention and the acquisition of new clients. This work attempts to identify how high-growth SMEs benefit from different combinations of forms of growth to perform successfully. A sample of 89 high-growth SMEs was selected – with an annual growth rate of more than 10% over a 5-year period – and, by means of a cluster analysis, we found four significantly different combinations of forms of growth. To externally test the robustness of those combinations, a group of demographic variables was considered (size, age, sector), as well as a set of variables related to the growth strategy (personnel involvement, the extent to which growth is a priority, perceived growth with respect to competitors), which support the existence of significant differences between the groups.

This article explores those factors that shape a political organization’s choice of tactics in political mobilization with a particular focus on the influence of gender ideology on the choice of different type of contentious action. To understand why political organizations engaging in contentious politics choose to employ violent tactics, nonviolent tactics, or a mixture of both, current scholarship has tended to focus on factors such as relationship with the government, external support, and religious or leftist ideology. Far less attention has been given to the role of an organization’s ideology relating to gender when predicting its behavior. In addition, much of the analysis of contentious activity has analyzed the use of violence or protest separately and rarely examines the choice of a mixed strategy. We employ a time-series multinomial logistic regression analysis to examine the Middle East Minorities at Risk Organizational Behavior dataset (MAROB), including data over 24 years on 104 ethno-political organizations that have used a range of tactics including protest, violence, and/or a mix of the two, to investigate organizational and state-level variables that lead organizations to choose different strategies. We find that a number of variables can influence a movement’s choice to engage in one strategy over another. Gender-inclusive ideology makes an organization more likely to engage in protest and less likely to choose a violent or mixed strategy.

This paper examines the variant roles that specific forms of networked-based social capital play in supporting the democratic functions of a neighbourhood governance network in Los Angeles. A significant body of empirical work has demonstrated the positive role that social capital plays in the functioning of civil society, but there has been less attention to the manner in which different types of network-based social capital promote support efficacy of multifaceted civic organisations. This paper utilises network measures from a survey of the members of a neighbourhood governance network in Los Angeles to explore the associations between types of network ties – within group; among groups; to different external stakeholders – and perceived self-efficacy of the member associations. We find that internal cohesion, or bonding social capital, promotes both advisement of city officials and promotion of local participation, suggesting that this network-based resource is fungible. Other network structures appear to have value in different contexts, in that stakeholder connections promote participation, while bridging social capital is associated with perceived success in advising city officials. The findings suggest that architects of participatory reform should be attentive to system goals in establishing supports for varying forms of system relationships.

The university libraries are to support traditional and digital access to the learning, academic, research and information resources and to maintain modern information and library space. According to the Federal State Educational Standard (FGOS), and due to the growth of distance learning forms, the students must have access to the wide range of digital resources. Thus, along with subscribing to external digital library systems and databases, Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University Library maintains the University’s digital library system. The author discusses new approaches and solutions for designing repositories and organization of information resources, methods and instruments for users to access them. As the case study of Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University, acquisition of the University’s Digital Library System collection is discussed as well as the Interuniveristy E-library which is the integrated union database of universities’ digital documents providing general access to the digital resources of the member universities. The membership in the Interuniveristy E-library enables universities to support educational programs with electronic resources; enables students, post-graduates and the faculty to keep track of digital publications by the member universities; provides the platform for the faculty to place on and to promote their works.

The article outlines key principles for workplace dispute resolution that are consistent with continued economic advance of China's labour market and employment relations. An account is given of recent experience in the US with mediation, arbitration and advanced forms of negotiations. The article then discusses the opportunity offered by pressures on labour standards from external corporate responsibility codes. It suggests venues for experimenting with these processes in Chinese employment. It concludes by emphasizing the need to develop the skills and capabilities needed by managers, worker representatives and third-party neutrals to implement and support these dispute resolution processes.

Currently, the specifics of external conditions and peculiarities of innovation activity main subjects development determine not only the need for close, long-term scientific and technical cooperation with the state for the sustainable development of territories, but also the need to develop and substantiate proposals for managing the development of innovation processes in such a system as a whole. The article proposes a model for the representation of scientific and industrial interaction in the implementation of regional innovation processes in the form of a three-dimensional "slice" of the triple helix as a resource VRIO-profile of cooperative formation, which allows to clearly demonstrate the system of relations, identify in which direction the problem area is, influencing which it will be possible to return the system to an equilibrium state of sustainable development in a strategic perspective. The analysis of modern scientific works shows the relevance, necessity and effectiveness of using methods based on neural networks to predict changes in the state of complex socio-economic systems, such as regional innovation systems. Existing approaches, as a rule, demonstrate a narrow focus and belonging to a separate enterprise or organization, and therefore do not meet all the requirements from both the implementation of the innovation process itself and the modification of the external environment. In this connection, the authors proposed an information and analytical solution for using the described model to support decision-making on the management of cooperative formations. The developed program is based on predicting the future state (position in a three-dimensional coordinate system) of the system using deep neural networks, namely recurrent. The described practical approbation of the model can in the future serve as a basis for decision-making on the choice of forms and directions of interaction of cooperative formations in the strategic perspective.

Understanding the relationship between the organizational characteristics of a farm and its environmental performance is essential to support the agro-ecological transition of farms. This is even more important as very few studies on the subject have been undertaken and as there is a growing diversity of organizational forms of farms that differ from the traditional family model. This paper proposes a comprehensively integrated approach of dairy farms in Brazil. A case study of six archetypes of farms with contrasted organizational characteristics is developed to explore the relations between, on the one hand, farms’ organizational structure and governance, and on the other hand, the adoption of agri-environmental practices. Results show that the adoption of agri-environmental practices varies across the wide range of farm’s organizational forms—from the family to the industrial models. Farms with limited internal resources depend more specifically on external sectoral or territorial resources to implement environmental practices. If the environment is conducive to the creation of incentives and coordination mechanisms underlying learning processes, farms will adopt agri-environmental practices, regardless of they are organized. The creation of local cooperatives, farmer’s networks and universities extension programs can strengthen farmers’ absorption, adaptation and transformation capacities and boost the adoption of environmental practices. Finally, considering farms as heterogeneous organizational forms in terms of human capital, resources, market, and informational access is essential to accelerate the agroecological transition.

Background.
Business analysis is not widely used in today's enterprises, and the business analyst profession is relatively recent. At the same time, business analytics, and in particular the modeling of business processes, plays a huge role in managing the activities of an organization. Understanding the relationship between business processes provides significant opportunities for analyzing and planning business changes.
The modern market is not a market of quantity, but of the quality of the services provided, which is why there is a need to analyze existing business processes in order to form an effective enterprise management system. As a result of the analysis, the enterprise forms a system of indicators for evaluating the effectiveness of key business processes with the aim of their subsequent optimization, replacement or reengineering.
In general, the activity of the enterprise can be reduced to the identification of internal and external events that affect the efficiency of business processes.
The relevance of the topic lies in the fact that the timely detection of deviations from the requirements that affect the efficiency of existing business processes and their optimization allow the business to make effective decisions for its continued existence.
Methods.
The article discusses the main methods, algorithm and tools for analyzing business processes in the activities of enterprises.
Result.
The article discusses the methods of business process analysis, defines the problems of implementing business process analysis methods, discusses the procedures and algorithms used to address issues related to identifying problematic business processes.

The purpose of the article - the detection range of issues of accounting and analytical support sustainable development and scientific substantiation of theoretical and methodological guidelines for their decision management in the agricultural business. Research methodology. The methodological basis of the study is the historical-logical method used in the study of the essence of the strategy of sustainable development. The dialectical method has been used in the study of the information management of the strategy of sustainable development of the enterprise. When analyzing the performance of the financial condition of agricultural enterprises for the 2013-2017 biennium. Methods used functional and statistical analysis. The method of comparison is used to study and compare the domestic and foreign experience of carrying out the accounting estimation of sustainable development. To clarify the content of accounting and analytical support sustainable development strategy used methods of abstraction, synthesis, induction and deduction, specification and other methods of scientific knowledge. The results of the research. Based on the substantiation of the importance of developing and implementing the strategy of sustainable development of the enterprise in the conditions of the modern business environment, the structure of the information management of the strategy of sustainable development management, which includes information resources generated by the external and internal environment of the enterprise, was investigated. It was established that the basis of internal information management of the strategy of sustainable development of the enterprise is the accounting and analytical system of the enterprise. To form a qualitative accounting and analytical support for management of the sustainable development strategy, a clarified understanding of the accounting and analytical support of the strategy of sustainable development, taking into account the specifics of the activities of agrarian enterprises, is substantiated, and the necessity of improving normative support in collecting information about the state of social and ecological capital according to typical reporting forms is substantiated. Elements of scientific novelty. A clarified understanding of the accounting and analytical support of the sustainable development strategy is proposed, taking into account the specifics of the activities of agrarian enterprises, the need to improve regulatory support in collecting information on the state of social and ecological capital by typical reporting forms. The article presents the theoretical and methodological foundations of the development of forms of communicative influence of civil society on the public policy, provides the main methods and conditions of their use for gaining advantages in solving problems of public-management relations. A wide range of issues related to the peculiarities of public relations organization, taking into account domestic and foreign experience, is covered. The specifics of the use of marketing communications in communicating of public authorities with the public are shown. It is substantiated that in the institutional sense, the greatest interest is the classification, depending on the scope of distribution. The public, when communicating with government, through certain communication tools, is called the external form of communication. The external forms of the communicative influence of civil society on state policy help them convey to the state authorities the necessary information about their thoughts, needs, requests, etc. Of course, such information should be constantly updated and accurate. All non-governmental organizations should maintain friendly relations with state organizations and prevent any misinformation of the latter. At the same time, informatization of public administration contains both positive potential and difficulties and contradictions, neglection which, as practice shows, turns negative result. To date, they are insufficiently developed and require scientific comprehension and substantiation, in particular, the issue of organizational, regulatory and legal support for the implementation and implementation of modern marketing tools and management in public administration. Concerning the prospects for further research on the concept of "the form of communicative influence of civil society on state policy", they consist in streamlining its conceptual apparatus as the basis for improving its system, since incomplete and inaccurate information becomes, as a result, the cause of many problems in the system of reforming public administration .

Civil wars occur in some countries at some times and not in other countries at other times. This articleexamines how the potential for large-scale external intervention can prevent civil wars. The authorargues that intervention by external states in civil war can be so overwhelming that it reduces one side’s probability of victory to essentially zero. When dissidents expect this type of intervention on the side of government, they anticipate no chance of achieving success through violence and do not initiate civil wars. When governments anticipate this type of intervention on their behalf, they feel protected from internal threat and are less constrained in their dealings with their populations. This repression increases grievances, leading dissidents to engage in strategies of dissent other than civil war. The authortests three implications of this argument-that states in more hierarchical relationships will experience civil war at lower rates, be more repressive, and experience other forms of dissent at higher rates-and finds strong support for it.
