Повний текст джерелаThe Big Data era requires new processing architectures, among which streaming systems which have become very popular. Those systems are able to summarize infinite data streams with aggregates on the most recent data. However, up to now, only point events have been considered and spanning events, which come with a duration, have been let aside, restricted to the persistent databases world only. In this thesis, a unified framework to deal with such stream mechanisms on spanning events is defined. Then, we develop an engine for Aggregate Continuous Query (ACQ), which is able to incorporate event lifespan to provide exact aggregate computation, and provides adapted structures for an efficient computation of sliding windows. This engine is further extended to handle shared computation of simultaneously running ACQs, while properly managing out-oforder events. In order to elaborate at runtime the most efficient query execution plan, a costbased policy is followed. A countdown is a cinematographic process which introduces tension in a film or a piece of work. Since then, countdowns have invaded our daily lives in several forms and for multiple durations. This research focused in detecting, evaluating and comparing a selection of counts in contemporary artistic productions. The works of artists like Philippe Parreno, Douglas Gordon, Gianni Motti, Yann Sérandour, claude rutault or Dan Graham support this research. These practices have been discussed with the writings of novelists and theorists such as Krzysztof Pomian, Jean-Philippe Toussaint, Hartmut Rosa, H.G. Wells, François Hartog, Jorge Luis Borges, Jean Norton Cru, Mathias Rollot and George Kubler in order to test the subjects of an event or an expectation. This thesis in arts offers an original reading of the subject of time, echoing with the modern frenzy and its diktat of the short term, while arguing a plasticity of time by the exercise of compression. This research has clear links to my artistic practice. A practice that raises the question of the time of a work and its reception. Several of my works are presented here. Also temporal experiences, works, exhibitions and testimonies punctuate this piece in order to put into perspective two degrees of a work’s existence: its trace and/or its experience. Повний текст джерелаThis thesis focuses on improving the performance evaluation of collaborative business processes. It is about pursuing the evolution of the collaboration between the company and its partners. In the beginning, three abstraction levels were identified: Business, functional and application. Then, we developed a top-down approach from the business level to the application level. In the business level, different key performance indicators have been proposed through the ECOGRAI method. In the application level, we proposed an analytical repository containing functional technical indicators such as duration, input, output, and non-functional, including maturity, risk, and interoperability based on execution traces. We have thus proposed an ontological model in order to capitalize and enrich the semantics of the performance of these processes. We proposed a bottom-up model for the aggregation of technical indicators at the business level. The main objective of this aggregation is the correlation between the behavior of the aggregated business application from the execution and the evolution of the business indicators. Another business event management model was also proposed to consolidate the learning process of our approach. Moreover, to ensure the convergence of performance, we have combined traces management and business event management. This combination allows to accompany the evolution of the collaborative business processes during their execution. The aforementionedaccompaniment favors the obtaining of a diagnosis on performance to be used for decision-making. The latter is closely linked to the detection of alerts and particularly to the anticipation of deviations in performance as quickly as possible. Повний текст джерелаThe present thesis contributes to the understanding of the affective dimension of communication. Experience is first considered as a qualitative duration, and thus as movement (Henri Bergson). The point of departing is movement as an intrinsic characteristic of the body. Thus understood, the body becomes a point of passage. What is it that passes through the body? Events. The body is constituted by this passage itself, which makes it into a becoming-body. Here, every experience is an act of communication in its purest state. Experience is an occasion for the actualisation of the virtual. It consists in the actualisation of a virtual force - which A. N. Whitehead calls the subjective form. The sense of the message is the event itself: that which emerges in the experience (Gilles Deleuze). Not the subjective experience of a preconstituted subject, but pure experience, as defined by William James: a relationality. That which actualises itself is an affective tonality (Whitehead), felt as an aesthetic quality. What are the constitutive factors of sense? The traditional duality subject-object must be enlarged into a relational complex: we can thus perceive affective, perceptive, human and technological actors in an assemblage that realizes itself as an emerging relationality. Every event is situated. Consequently, the emergence of sense becomes an act of co-creation in which the multiple factors conditioning the event participate. Who communicates? This act of co-creation communicates itself. This vision departs from an anthropocentrism to conceive the event itself as the subject of its own experiences (Whitehead). As much as every act of communication is a lived event, so too is every media experience. Event is embodied by the dimensions of the becoming-body – affective-consciousness and reflexive-consciousness. These are so intimately interconnected that they become mutually inclusive in experience and totally active in the actualisation of sense.
