Повний текст джерелаThe objective of this research is to identify and compare the potentiality of the return migrant entrepreneur back to those of his Local counterpart. It should be recalled that while a significant number of research has addressed entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial characteristics, none, to our knowledge, has studied the potential of the returning migrant entrepreneur in relation to his Local counterpart. The concern to fill the lack of managerial research and to contribute to the scientific debate on this topic has led us to rely on two main paradigms of the traits and the facts of the entrepreneur to establish the concept of entrepreneurial potentials. The theoretical corpus obtained is based on the model of Yvon GASSE. It establishes a link between the different approaches of traits and facts (characteristics and behaviors), incorporates extrinsic factors (middle) and leads to the emergence of the conceptual model of our thesis. This theoretical corpus is relayed by the adapted questionnaire of Gasse which was administered to a sample of 393 Moroccan entrepreneurs MRE (40%) and Local (60%). The MRE are Moroccan residents abroad who have returned to Morocco to create their business. The premises are those who have always been resident in Morocco and who are entrepreneurs. They are therefore two types of entrepreneurs of Moroccan origin but with different life paths (migrant and non-migrant). The 393 questionnaires are subject to multi-dimensional data analysis techniques. The results obtained allow us to answer our research question: the level of the potential of the returning entrepreneur is different from that of the Local contractor. The migratory experience has enabled the MRE entrepreneur to develop a higher level of entrepreneurial potential than that of his Local counterpart. Such results are emerging from the original levers that can feed the endogenous accompaniment devices. Their combination with the Cronbach test provides a reduced and adapted grid of the Gasse model, auguring a differentiated accompaniment of future MRE and Local entrepreneurs

Повний текст джерелаThis study examined the effectiveness of using personality traits to predict entrepreneurial intention and performance. The participants in the study (N = 113) were all members of an Enterprise Development programme based in Cape Town in the Western Cape. The personality variables under investigation included proactive personality, self-efficacy, perseverance and control aspiration. Standard multiple regression analysis revealed that an overall model incorporating all four of the above personality variables explained approximately 25 of the variance in entrepreneurial intention. After controlling for age and education, the model explained approximately 30 of the variance. However, of the four independent variables, only proactive personality explained unique variance in entrepreneurial intention.

Literature in franchise has virtually ignored the role of psychological aspects on firm interorganizational results, despite its influence on firm level results and relationship quality. Therefore, the present study aims to examine the influence of franchisees’ personality and entrepreneurial drive on franchisor-franchisee relationship quality and financial performance over time. The study also investigated the role of the time of relationship on the relationship quality and financial performance. This study used a self-report survey conducted by mail to collect data from a sample of 342 franchisees selected from 3 franchise networks. Personality was represented by the Big-Five personality traits (IPIP-B5 scales): extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, emotional stability, and imagination. Entrepreneur drive was represented by the Carland Entrepreneurship Index (CEI). Relationship quality was conceptualized through a 23-item second-order construct (incorporating trust, commitment, and relationship satisfaction), while financial performance was represented by using a scale measuring sales growth and profitability. Time of relationship was measured by the months of relationship between franchisee and franchisor. A Partial Least Squares (PLS) structural equation model, mean analysis, and regression analysis were conducted to test the hypothesized relationships. Three of the five personality dimensions produced the predicted effect on the outcome variables of relationship quality – agreeableness (positively), emotional stability (positively), and imagination (positively). Financial performance was affected as predicted by conscientiousness (positively), emotional stability (positively), and imagination (positively). As expected, relationship quality presented a positive and significant effect on financial performance. Entrepreneurial drive showed the predicted positive effect only on performance. Time of relationship presented the positive predicted effect on the franchisor-franchisee relationship as regards relationship quality and financial performance; however, the hypothesized shape of the relationship phases could only partially be confirmed, since only between two phases (routine and stabilization) mean analysis showed significant differences. Results indicate that personality does in fact influence relationship quality and performance, but the manner in which this occurs differs from the Brazilian context where this research was conducted to the findings of research conducted in Australia, suggesting that factors such as culture and market stability may have influence on the relationship between personality traits and both relationship quality and financial performance. Entrepreneurial drive appears to positively influence franchisee performance, but its influence proved not to produce a significant impact on relationship quality. The present study’s results also indicate the importance of the time of relationship needed to foster relationship quality and performance. Moreover, long-term relationships are related to better franchisee relationship quality and financial performance assessments. Limitations of this work and suggestions for future studies are also discussed.

At present, entrepreneurial education is taking a fundamental role in fostering entrepreneurship worldwide, since both developed and developing economies see entrepreneurship as an alternative to get out of the economic crisis and job uncertainty. , which is mostly seen in young people. For this reason, universities have been developing different entrepreneurial education programs to foster entrepreneurial intent, and in this connection, some research considers the impact of these programs to be positive, while others maintain the opposite. In the present work, investigations of the last 5 years related to entrepreneurial intention and entrepreneurial education have been reviewed, within this relationship the positions for and against the influence of situational and personal factors. In addition, new lines of research are identified and proposed, so that the results contribute to understanding the process of entrepreneurial intention formation, so that the academy, government, companies, researchers and stakeholders can develop proposals more successful.

Is entrepreneurship really as difficult as everyone said? Sometimes its easy to take this step, and sometimes its harder than going to the sky. In recent years, the world has been blowing up entrepreneurial style, and Taiwan is also on this wave. I dont think everyone should start a business. After all, some peoples personality is not suitable, but I think everyone should try to understand the entrepreneurs ideas, think about why his new career will succeed, and then look at what he has. Ability, have you always blamed others for failure, the environment, or have the courage to accept challenges to overcome difficulties? Many entrepreneurs did not fully understand the nature of entrepreneurship, and did not have sufficient resources and capabilities to rush into entrepreneurial activities, but later found themselves embarked on a road of no return. Successful entrepreneurial homes have their own unique personality traits, and most of them are born with the innate environment. If you can fully display any personality traits and make good use of entrepreneurship, I believe that there are certain entrepreneurial abilities and business results. Impact. This study focuses on the personality traits of individual entrepreneurs, entrepreneurial orientation, and the ability of entrepreneurial ability to explore the relationship between entrepreneurial performance, and through the research of individual entrepreneurs, to understand its relevance, to provide entrepreneurs who want to start their own business in the future. A reference for entrepreneurial decision making. This study adopts the Likert five-scale scale, and uses the individual entrepreneurs in Taiwan as the sample of this study. The research subjects are all self-employed, and the 178 valid questionnaires are used to conduct hierarchical statistical regression analysis to verify each. The relationship between variables. From the empirical results, it is found that: (1) The internal control personality of personality traits has a "positive" significant relationship with entrepreneurial performance (2) The innovation of entrepreneurial orientation has a "negative" relationship to entrepreneurial performance (3) Sexuality has a "positive" significant relationship with non-financial performance. (4) Entrepreneurial resources with entrepreneurial capabilities have a "positive" significant relationship to entrepreneurial performance. (5) Entrepreneurial opportunities for entrepreneurial capabilities have a "positive" significant relationship to entrepreneurial performance.

The purpose of this research was to investigate how personality traits influenced the turnover intention of practicing psychiatrists in Taiwan and the mediating role of self efficacy and entrepreneurial intention. Meanwhile, this study examined the relationship between perceived organizational support (POS) and turnover intention, and the mediating effect of organizational commitment. We conducted a sensus to all psychiatrists currently practicing in Taiwan by delivering anominated questionnaire face-to-face, through mail, email, or facebook bulletin. One hundred and ninety-two samples were retrieved, which accounted for 13.6% of the population (N=1410). Regression analysis revealed: (1) Extraversion, Conscientiousness, neuroticism and openness to experience predicted self efficacy (E+, C+, O+, N-); (2) Openness to experience positively predicted entrepreneurial intention; (3) Extraversion negatively predicted turnover intention; (4) Openness to experience positively predicted turnover intention through partial medication by self efficacy and full mediation by entrepreneurial intention; (4) POS negatively predicted turnover intention through full mediation by organizational commitment. Besides, among young psychiatrist (〈10 years of practice), psychiatrists with manager or other positions appeared to have higher aggreableness than those without these positions, while hospital or clinic owners had higher openness to experiences compared to hired psychiatrists. Among senior psychiatrist (〉 10 years of practice), hospital or clinic owners had lower neuroticism, and psychiatrists without any other positions (owner or manager) had lower self efficacy. This empirical research examined how personal factors acted on the turnover intention and career decision of psychiatrists in Taiwan. Further study should be done to involve more psychiatrists and focused more on the relationship between person and environment.

This study was aimed at exploring the influence of the big-five personality traits (extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, neuroticism, and openness) on entrepreneurial motivation, using decision comprehensiveness as a mediation mechanism on the influence. We used questionnaires to collect data from 185 industrial employees who had had an intention for creating their own businesses. The results showed that their traits of extraversion, conscientiousness, and openness had a positive influence on their entrepreneurial motivation; however, their traits of neuroticism and agreeableness had no such influence. The results also showed that their decision comprehensiveness had a positive influence on their entrepreneurial motivation. And the decision comprehensiveness fully mediated the influence of extraversion on the entrepreneurial motivation, but only partially mediated the influence of conscientiousness and openness on the motivation. We also found that the moderation of entrepreneurial environment on the relationship between the decision comprehensiveness on the entrepreneurial motivation was insignificant. Finally, based on these findings of this study, we discussed in details the implications of the study to the literature and the practitioners. The literatures of entrepreneurial research have highlighted how entrepreneurial resources and personality traits could influence a start-up firms'' performance. Some scholars have categorized various types of these start-up microenterprises. However, their findings did not indicate any significant relationships between personality traits and entrepreneurial types. In addition, traditionally conducted on case interviews, results of their findings are unable to be generalized. Therefore, this study attempts to undertake a quantitative approach to generalize this type of research findings. The literature includes a review of Chinese and English literatures related to micro-entrepreneurs. The study collected convenient samples via the members of the Micro Entrepreneurs Association and the general microenterprises throughout Taiwan for carrying out our understanding of the relationships among the constructs of Entrepreneurial Resources, Personality Traits, Entrepreneurial Types and Firms’ Performance. The results of the study showed that the financial capital of entrepreneurial resources, the conscientiousness and positive activity of personality traits have a positive effect on firms’ performance. Findings indicated that there is a significant effect between the personality trait of neuroticism-impulsiveness and the entrepreneurial valorization. It was also found that there is a significant effect between conscientiousness of personality traits and entrepreneurial innovation. In addition, the relationships between the personality traits of neuroticism-impulsiveness and conscientiousness and entrepreneurial revolution are significantly effect as well.

Entrepreneurial activity is one of the main reasons to promote economic growth, and has become the mainstream of commercial activities. The added values have made great contributions to Taiwan's economy. In terms of academic research, scholars have been engaged in studies related to entrepreneurship, among which demographic variables and personality traits as entrepreneurial motivation and entrepreneurial performance are one of the popular studies. However, despite of abundant empirical data, there is no consistent result. Therefore, in this study, meta-analysis was used to integrate the research data related to startup founder’s demographic variables, personality traits and entrepreneurial performance. The meta-analysis could integrate many research data into one data, and then convert the statistical results of each research into Z-value, which can be further analyzed. Demographic variables (gender, age, education, entrepreneurial experience, marital status) and five personality traits were analyzed in this study. The results showed that some startup founder’s demographic variables have differences in personality traits and entrepreneurial performance, and there is a positive correlation between personality traits and entrepreneurial performance.

Theory of Theory of Planned Behavior(TPB) and Shapero''s Model of the Entrepreneurial Event(EEM) are the two major models of entrepreneurial intention. While TPB studies individual’s behavior and attitudes, the EEM focuses on studying the entrepreneurial event of individual. Because the EEM studies are relatively fewer than TPB in the studies of entrepreneurial intention, this research chooses EEM as the theory basis. The samples of the research are undergraduates from technology university and general university in Taiwan. This study compares the factors that affect the entrepreneurial intention between both kinds of students. Based on the Shapero’s Model of the Entrepreneurial Event, whether proactivity, creativity, bonding social capital, and bridging social capital will directly or indirectly impact on entrepreneurial intention would also be shown. The results of statistic analysis find out that bridging social capital, perceived desirability, perceived feasibility, and propensity to act would significantly impact on entrepreneurial intention. On the contrary, the impact of proactivity, creativity, and bonding social capital are hardly to see in the study. On one hand, both the proactively and creativity can affect personal entrepreneurial intention by perceived desirability. On the other hand, creativity, bonding social capital, and bridging social capital affect personal entrepreneurial intention by perceived feasibility. Furthermore, the differences between school systems only influence on bridging social capital dramatically, and with no influence on other variables. In accordance with research statistics, this study finds out that the bridging social capital of general university students is higher than technology university students. Under the same research, the entrepreneurial intention of male students is significantly higher than that of female students.

Many technological and vocational schools have changed their orientations and teaching directions in order to enroll as many students as they can. They have established food and beverage services (management)-related departments and enlisted many profession mentors from the field, which has made lecturers (teachers) in other departments feel the instability of the environment and try to retire unexpectedly or to transfer to other fields. This research is going to probe into the life histories of two technological and vocational school teachers and why they chose to start up a new business in different fields through narrative research. Along with an unstable international environment, slow economic growth, rising raw material costs; external business shifts, changing population structure, imminent industrial transformation, the micro-enterprises are facing unprecedented challenges. Therefore, the government has provided a series of subsidiary arrangements, including the Mini Phoenix Entrepreneur Loan, the focus of this study. This study explores whether personality traits and entrepreneurial motivations have an impact on entrepreneurial performance. Questionnaires were distributed to qualified micro-phoenix entrepreneurs in five districts (north, central, southern, eastern, and outlying islands) and interviews were conducted. Out of 2,500 questionnaires distributed, 341 responded, with a 13.6% response rate. Correlation, regression, and cluster analyses were adopted to verify research hypotheses. The empirical results show that the personality traits of micro-Phoenix entrepreneurs are related to entrepreneurial motivation; personality traits have influence on performance; entrepreneurial motivation also has a partial impact on entrepreneurial performance. This study is intended to increase the understanding of Phoenix lenders, clarify the factors affecting Phoenix loan entrepreneurs, and then contribute to the operation and development of micro-enterprises.
