China's energy industry developed remarkably in recent years but in the meanwhile also caused some problems that are directly correlated with defects in system, content, supporting and coordination and other aspects of China’s energy laws. It is imperative at present to improve and perfect energy legal system in order to provide strong guarantee for China’s energy security. This paper will analyze existing legislation systems concerned with energy security started from its legal protection status in quo, and use foreign legal system of energy security for reference to put forward to suggestions for construction of China’s legal protection system for energy security that are beneficial to perfect China's energy legal system and to ensure energy security.

The global energy Internet standard support system plays a vital role in global energy interconnection. However, the system brings convenience to the global energy interconnection and introduces new security issues. Due to the diversity of users, the complexity of the environment and the internationalization, there will be more and more malicious network intrusions from outside and inside. The security system of the global energy Internet standard support system faces great challenges. To this end, this paper proposes a security architecture that combines active and passive, establishing a chain of trust between the active security architecture and the passive security architecture, ensuring a new security architecture, a security organization framework, a security policy framework, a security operation framework, and a closed-loop system that integrates the security technology framework. A deep learning algorithm was introduced for network intrusion learning to achieve sustainable management of the information security life cycle. The combination of active and passive security systems and continuous monitoring strategies based on deep learning fully ensure the security of the global energy Internet standard support system.

The article analyzes the prospects of cooperation between Poland and Ukraine in the field of electric power transmission. In particular, the characteristics of the «Burshtyn Energy Island» are enlightened, which includes Burshtyn TPP, Kalush CHPP and Tereble- Ritsk HPP that are detached from the power system of Ukraine and operate in parallel with the European system ENTSO-E. This island serves as an importer of Ukrainian electric power to European countries through Hungary and Slovakia, respectively, and is synchronized with the European Network of System Operators for Electricity Transmission (ENTSO-E). The main problem of the international transmission of electric current of Ukraine is determined, which is that the whole energy system of Ukraine works within the international energy union of the CIS and Baltic IPS / UPS. At the same time, the integration of Ukraine into the markets of Western European countries requires the break of established connections under the IPS / UPS system and the parallel increase of communications under the ENTSO-E system through Poland, Slovakia, Romania and Hungary. The prospect for the development of the Energy Bridge project, which provides the supply of electric power from the Khmelnitsk NPP to Poland through the Khmelnitsk NPP - Rzeszow, is described. It is proposed the stages for the further development of energy security in the information direction on the introduction of Smart Grid technologies, in which energy companies will be able to manage the whole network as the only flexible digital system, and end users - to clearly regulate their own electricity costs.

The article reveals an attempt to create an integrated information system for energy security monitoring, for instance in Yakutia, in terms of a vivid and typical representative of isolated areas with extreme temperature conditions. The analysis of area assessment of renewable energy and energy security strengthening of decentralized power supply systems is given. The research considers the worked out algorithm which determines the renewable energy attractiveness coefficient in connection with energy security assessment indicators. The document includes the results of the analysis of the energy situation in Yakutia with the help of geoinformation software product, the illustrative fragment of integrated information system modules. The implementation of the developed system results in fast analysis of occurring issues, indicators calculating as a foundation for strategic platform to manage energy security positions. The system assists to tackle the problems in advance.

In recent years, the USA as the biggest consumer of energy resources in the world worked out a new national strategy of energy security provision. Its main targets are: meeting the requirements of the American economy of its own resources, lowering the import-dependence level, high use of innovation technologies, significant increase of investments in alternative energy sources, as well as of resource-and energy-saving.

With the highlighting of the energy security problem, it is particular important to evaluate energy security. At first, this article introduces the conception of energy security, the factors and characteristics of energy system, and the idea of evaluation index. Then according to the framework of goals-elements-evaluation, design an evaluation index that is progressive deduction and three levels-four subsystems, five elements, and forty evaluation indexes. Four subsystems are coal system, the oil and gas system, the power system and the comprehensive evaluation system of energy. Five elements are balance of supply and demand, transportation capacity, mutation effect, economic security, ecological environment. Forty evaluation indexes are storage and mining ratio, transport capacity, impact factor of change suddenly, fluctuation rate of price, SO reduction rate and so on.

Energy security analysis is a strong tool for policy makers. It allows them to formulate policies that would enhance energy systems by targeting necessary actions. In this study, the impacts of transitioning from a fossil fuels to a renewables dominated energy system on energy security is analysed for Jordan. A Best Policy Scenario was developed for the Jordanian energy system to trace the transition to a 100% renewable energy system. Energy security was analysed for the future system by a qualitative approach utilising colour codes. The results reveal that the primary energy demand increases from 64 TWh in 2015 to 130 TWh in 2050, dominated by electricity and followed by heat and bioenergy. This indicates that a high level of direct and indirect electrification is the key to transition towards a fully sustainable energy system. Renewable electricity generation is projected to increase from 0.1 TWh in 2015 to 110.7 TWh in 2050, with a solar photovoltaic share of 92%. The levelised cost of energy develops from 78 €/MWh in 2015 to 61 €/MWh in 2050. In 2050, this system will have zero greenhouse gas emissions, it will provide plenty of job opportunities and revenue generation. This proposed transition will enhance the energy security level of the Jordanian energy system in five of the six dimensions studied. The five dimensions that will be improved are availability, cost, environment, health, and employment, whereas the dimension on diversity will stay neutral. It can be concluded that Jordan can achieve a 100% renewable energy system by 2050 and such a transition will enhance the energy security level.

Urgency of the research. Forming the energy policy of the national economy on the basis of the energy security concept will ensure making balanced management decisions concerning the future energy development of the country. Target setting. Both in the world and Ukrainian practices, the most common approach to forming a model of energy security is based mainly on sources of energy supply. However, such approach does not reflect the aggregation of the complexity of the relationship in energy systems. Actual scientific researches and issues analysis. Problems of studying national energy security are highlighted in works of such scientists as J. Jewell and A. Cherp, A. Kachynskyi, B. Kruyt, A. Mikhalevych, B. Sovakul, A. Shevtsov, A. Smenkovskyi, as well as of different international organizations. Uninvestigated parts of general matters defining. The concept of energy security requires further consideration in the context of a systems approach and its operationalization at the methodological level. The research objective is the conceptualization of energy security on the basis of a systems approach and its operationalization using the 4E model. The statement of basic materials. The article studies the features of functioning of energy systems and proposes a system concept of energy security. The authors suggest considering the subsystems of energy supply, energy conversion and energy consumption as its components, the assessment of energy security of which at the methodological level is performed using the corresponding system indicators: energy dependency, energy efficiency and energy conservation. The stable existence of an energy system is ensured by such a component of energy security as energy self-sufficiency. In the work, the approbation of the proposed methodological approach to the assessment of energy security in Ukraine has been carried out. Conclusions. Energy security should be considered as a system category, and its concept based on a systems approach. The operationalization of energy security is based on its assessment by means of the methodological approach using the 4E model: energy conservation, energy efficiency, and energy dependency, as well as energy self-sufficiency.

Electricity and heat production from agricultural biogas is currently one of the most beneficial methods of obtaining renewable energy. Investments in biogas power engineering in Poland are not widespread at the moment. The obstacles connected with legal regulations, social conditions as well as problems connected with the sources of financing are the reasons why Poland is still behind the leader in biogas energy production in the European Union, i.e. Germany, despite its comparable geographical conditions. The aim of this article is to broaden the knowledge of production and use of biogas energy from renewable resources. The article presents possible forms of financing investments in this type of renewable energy source and presents perspectives and conditions of its development, i.e. benefits affecting the environment, society and economy as well as barriers hindering their development.

Over the last decade, different studies have been conducted to increase security to identify sensor technology and provide alternative energy with other energy harvest techniques such as vibration energy harvester and sun energy harvester. There is no combinational approach to utilize the door to create energy and use it for security measures in the literature, making our system different and unique. This proposed system comprises the security and the energy harvest; the security section utilizes a motion detector sensor to detect intruders. For instance, the magnetic door lock type firmly locks the door, which can only open with a generated password. On the other side, the energy harvest section utilizes the door motion to generate electricity for the system, which solves power shortage and limited battery life issues. Moreover, this study includes a GSM module that allows authorized owners to receive a generated password as a security enhancement. This design mainly focuses on improving or optimizing the conventional security doors' overall performance as sliding door, panel door, or revolving door. The experimental results show the system efficiency in terms of power generation and the time needed to authenticate the property owner. Notably, the power generator can generate electricity more rapidly, while the needed time to receive the mobile device's security code is around 3.6 seconds.

In the paper are explored the problems of energy security description (as an object of control and regulation) as well as assessment parameters definition. The review of the existing theoretical approaches to the description of energy security is conducted; the modern tendencies of the development of theoretical models in this field are shown. The evolution of the development of conceptual approaches to the study of energy security has been supplemented by projecting transition to an open interacting systems (ecosystems) concept. There is proposed the new model for energy security description, based on systematic approach methodology. There have been proposed the approach to designate a set of parameters for energy security assessment which reflects «integrity», «structure», «functions», «relationships», «processes», «material» of the system. The proposed approach to description of a country’s energy security provides an option to assess the state (as a set of static parameters that reflect the perception of the system by external observer) and the ability of the system to develop and respond to threats (as a set of indicators that reflect the functions and processes within the system). Emphasis is made on the need to separate a goal setting in energy security (as an object of control and regulation) as a process and stage of strategic planning procedure within the national security framework. The importance of taking into account the subject’s outlook (public management values that reflect the political and economic model of governance) in the process of goal setting was emphasized. The model of subjectivism reduction in goal setting is proposed, due to the incorporation of the energy security system into the larger system.

The Post War era has seen UK agriculture experience mixed fortunes. Following the scarred memories of food shortages farming experienced one of its regular cyclical booms in the sixties and seventies with guaranteed prices that pushed forward production to improve the level of self sufficiency demanded by the politicians. In continental Europe this encouragement was provided by the emerging Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) which Britain joined in 1973. The CAP promoted greater food production by different methods based on intervention buying at guaranteed prices when there were surpluses only to release the products back on the market at times of shortage. This system worked effectively while the periods of excess were smaller than the periods of surplus. The eighties saw the reversal of this pattern and the establishment of unacceptably high levels of intervention stocks of all major commodities. The system became unworkable and although the French and Germans fought to retain the status quo, the old CAP had become not only indefensible but critically not in the best interests of either consumer or farmer.

The article is aimed at determining the opportunities of the regions of Ukraine for self-sufficiency in energy resources, improving energy security and energy efficiency, as well as forming a methodological approach to determining regional ratings by the level of energy efficiency and energy security. The indicators of energy efficiency and energy security, proposed in the article, is advisable to use as a base for a further system of indicators, applied to determine regional ratings of energy efficiency and energy security. The proposed indicators allow to comprehensively assess the level of energy security in the region, are relevant and can be easily calculated using data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine. To assess the level of energy efficiency and energy security of the regions of Ukraine, it is advisable to use the author’s own methodology, which also allows to assess the availability and quality of energy resources use. The application of the proposed two-level system of indicators and the method of their calculation allows solving the problem of informing different categories of users about energy efficiency and energy security of the regions in order to determine the need for control influences in conditions of limited information. Based on the results obtained, both the State and regional administration bodies together with local self-government bodies will be able to assess the results achieved, compare them with the achievements of other regions and develop a system of measures to improve the energy efficiency of the regional economy and ensure energy security in the future. Further researches of the author will be aimed at calculating on the basis of the formed methodological approach of the rating of energy efficiency and energy security of the regions of Ukraine, carrying out a comparative analysis of the regions and developing proposals for solving identified problems, based on the rating results obtained.

After analytic generalization, new interpretation of “Energy security” concept was presented. It was clarified once more that, in contemporary world, energy security is measured not only by the quantity of energy consumption supply, but also by its quality values and standards. Given the fact that in the Azerbaijan Republic, as in a sustainable social country, energy security is not separated from energy efficiency and is considered as an important indicator in the supply of fuel-energy resources for increasing the national development level of the economy, the paper intends to investigate these features. It also studies preparation of national energy security strategy and criteria, activities, and objectives that define its conditions being justified by analysis for providing sustainability of these activities.

Focusing on energy security assessment, a review is presented in this paper, covering the definition of energy security, assessment indicators of energy security, and assessment cases at different scales. It is concluded that a systematic model is required to simulate the energy system in a holistic way and to establish more objective and comprehensive indicators of energy security. The review is hopeful to shed light on the development of energy security study in the future.

Energy safety is multifaceted and is not limited only to nuclear plants. The research on local energy safety is not considerable. This article creates new ground by analysing the Polish local energy safety system in the cause–effect context. Consistent with an abductive approach, this paper’s insights have emerged iteratively based on the theory reviewed and the empirical case. The research aimed to determine whether the local administration negatively affected energy security and proposed preventive measures increased limited energy security. The findings show that flawed local government operations reduce local energy safety. Moreover, the State authorities did not recognise the weaknesses of the local energy safety system properly. The findings make two main contributions: first, they contribute to developing energy safety theory; and second, this article contributes to a further contextual diagnosis of the comprehensive energy system and can, in turn, be relevant for its further studies in worldwide context.

Today Ukrainian business entities operate in conditions of macroeconomic instability, environmental disturbance, energy dependence on risk of instable and interrupted supply and high cost of energy resources, excessive energy consumption and inefficient use of fuel and energy resources, which requires immediate actions as for finding solutions to ensure energy security. The goal of the article is to solve multi-criteria tasks focused on making managerial decisions regarding the development of enterprise energy security system based on evaluation of influence of numerous factors. As a result of this study, main components of energy security of the enterprise and most important influence factors are determined. The mathematical model of the hierarchy of factors in terms of their influence on the energy security of the enterprise with the use of graph theory is developed. Use of iterative procedure to determine the levels of hierarchy of factors allowed to assess the importance/priority of their influence on energy security of the enterprise. Thus, the developed model of hierarchy of factors based on the applied scientific and methodical approach to determine their influence on energy security of the enterprise provides the opportunity to get a detailed idea of factors interaction, interconnections and influence on energy security of the enterprise, which ultimately leads to elaboration of complex optimal/agreed managerial decisions in context of development and implementation of energy security system of the enterprise.

Energy transitions are transforming energy systems around the globe. Such a shift has caused the power system to become a critical piece of infrastructure for the economic development of every nation on the planet. Therefore, guaranteeing its security is crucial, not only for energy purposes but also as a part of a national security strategy. This paper presents a multidimensional index developed to assess energy security of electrical systems in the long term. This tool, named the Power System Security Index (PSIx), which has been previously used for the evaluation of a country in two different time frames, is applied to evaluate the member countries of the Latin American Energy Organization, located within the Latin America and the Caribbean region, to measure its performance on energy security. Mixed results were obtained from the analysis, with clear top performers in the region such as Argentina, while there are others with broad areas of opportunity, as is the case of Haiti.

The article reveals the evolution of energy security in Ukraine's national security strategies during the years of independence. It is determined that a number of issues related to the creation of the most effective system of energy security of the state support within the existing National Security Strategies of Ukraine at various stages of state formation remain unresolved, both at the legislative level and in the functioning of relevant competent state bodies. The content of ensuring the energy security of the state in the four national security strategies of Ukraine is revealed. It is determined that the issue of ensuring energy security of the state requires a clear definition of the state in strategic priorities and goals that should correspond to current trends in the national economy and world realities in this area. It was emphasized that in accordance with the Final Provisions of the National Security Strategy 2020 on the development of planning documents in the field of national security and defense, which will determine the ways and tools of its implementation, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on August 4, 2021 approved the Energy Security Strategy. Ukraine, which defines the target model of the energy security system as a component of national security. It is emphasized that the Energy Security Strategy of Ukraine identifies 29 key threats to energy security. These include, in particular, external risks - cyber threats to critical energy infrastructure, aggression by the Russian Federation, and internal - possible failure to integrate with EU electricity and gas supply systems, depreciation of fixed assets, lack of energy reserves and more. It is noted that the strategic approach is extremely important for such a complex sector of the economy as energy. Given the unstable situation in the geopolitical sphere, given the limited energy resources and the need to develop ecologically and with concern for the environment, we need to understand all the potential risks and threats that may affect the Ukrainian energy sector. That is why the Energy Security Strategy of Ukraine is necessary to ensure predictability of development and sustainability of the energy system, timely identification of threats and prevention. Threats to national security in the field of energy security have been studied. It is emphasized that currently the most correct and meaningful definition of energy security is the definition, which is enshrined in the newly approved Energy Security Strategy of Ukraine. Thus, energy security is the protection of national interests in ensuring access to reliable, sustainable, affordable and modern energy sources in a technically reliable, safe, cost-effective and environmentally friendly way under normal conditions and in conditions of special or emergency conditions. The directions of increase of efficiency of maintenance of energy security of Ukraine are defined.

Energy security has become the most prominent task during certain complex environmental conditions. In any part of the world, energy is the determinant of the country’s economy and hence needs to focus on developing the economy. Energy can be categorized as renewable and nonrenewable resources of the country; irrespective of the type, security has to be provided both at the demand and supply parts. Intelligent system is used for evaluating the economic development and energy security of the country. In this research, decision-making unit (DMU) method is implemented to predict the requirement of energy security and the economic development of the country through energy resources in the dynamic evolving world is considered. The study results proved that the proposed model helps in forecasting the need of economic development and energy security to a greater extent. The proposed model is compared with the existing fuzzy prediction model for the analysis, and it is observed that the proposed model has achieved 98.78% of accuracy in the economic prediction.

The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) faces tremendous challenges regarding the future energy landscape and how the energy transition will embrace a new architecture—including sound policies and technologies to ensure energy access together with affordability, energy security, and energy sustainability. Given the high share of fossil fuels in ASEAN’s current energy mix (oil, coal, and natural gas comprise almost 80%), the clean use of fossil fuels through the deployment of clean technologies is indispensable for decarbonizing ASEAN’s emissions. The future energy landscape of ASEAN will rely on today’s actions, policies, and investments to change the fossil fuel-based energy system towards a cleaner energy system, but any decisions and energy policy measures to be rolled out during the energy transition need to be weighed against potentially higher energy costs, affordability issues, and energy security risks. This paper employs energy modelling scenarios to seek plausible policy options for ASEAN to achieve more emissions reductions as well as energy savings, and to assess the extent to which the composition of the energy mix will be changed under various energy policy scenarios. The results imply policy recommendations for accelerating the share of renewables, adopting clean technologies and the clean use of fossil fuels, and investing in climate-resilient energy quality infrastructure.

Energy systems have to deal with energy cost and environmental concerns such as greenhouse gas emission. Industrial buildings considered as Microgrid (μG) with heavy load worsen these issues even more. Further, cyber-attacks on the data communication channel between utility and customer is also a potential threat and may alter the data as well as the confidentiality of it, resulting in an inaccurate result. To address these problems, this paper proposes two-cored Building Energy Management System (BEMS) for Industrial Microgrid (IμG) with first cored termed as the energy layer concentrating on energy cost and emission reduction, while second cored termed as security layer provides the un-authorized intrusion detection and prevention system (IDS/IPS) for cyber secure communication of data. The μG under consideration contains national grid, Natural Gas (NG), solar Photovoltaic (PV) as input carriers; electrical energy at output ports; electric vehicle (EV) fleet; battery bank; solar PV panel as non-dispatchable Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) and Internal Combustion Engine (ICE), Fuel Cell (FC) and Micro Turbine (MT) as dispatchable DERs. Energy layer optimization problem has been solved in MATLAB using flower pollination algorithm for µG energy consumption cost and emission reduction. To develop and analyze the security layer, Linux operating system based Smooth-sec software has been used. Devised security layer continuously monitors the network traffic between customers and BEMS as well as BEMS and utility server. During monitoring it distinguish the licensed user or malicious attacker to detect and prevent possible internal and/or external intrusions in the communication channel. Results show that EMS reduces energy cost and emission in addition to cyber security from internal threats. Proposed two-cored control may be manufactured for utilities to realize its benefits for industrial customers in a smart energy distribution system. The energy sector of the Republic of Belarus is one of the key sectors of the national economy, the effective development of which ensures the operation of the entire real economy and the sphere of housing and communal services. Due to the lack of the necessary amount of its own energy resources, the country is affected by factors of internal and external threats that form the energy dependence of the Republic on the supply of fuel and energy resources from outside. This weakens its energy security. The main importing country of fuel and energy resources for the Republic of Belarus is the Russian Federation. In this regard, the concept of energy security needs to be clarified, taking into account external and internal threats. The article deals with theoretical approaches to the definition of energy security, the specific features for the importing and exporting countries. The main threats to energy security for the Republic of Belarus are clarified, the causes of their occurrence and consequences for both fuel and energy complex enterprises and energy consumers are revealed. To determine the level of energy security, the indicative assessment method, which involves the identification of parameters and indicators of the development and functioning of the fuel and energy complex, its subsystems and facilities, as well as energy consumers, is the most optimal. These parameters characterize the composition, depth and territorial framework for the implementation of threats to energy security, its level. The indicators of the main directions of energy safety have been analyzed in dynamics; their levels are determined by periods. The directions of energy security, which are most and least susceptible to threats, have been identified. A combined approach for determining the objects of energy security is proposed. The author's definition of energy security is presented.

In the next period, taking into account the commitments assumed at the European level, but also the need to revive the National Energy System, Romania will define its energy identity. In this equation, a topic of interest at the moment is the question of nuclear energy, and whether the current historical logic still brings relevance to this way of producing energy, considering also the appropriate security implications. This paper deals with the issue first in terms of defining the place of the nuclear sector in the energy identity of Romania, then pointing out some aspects related to security. This paper explores a low-cost portable visible light communication (VLC) system to support the increasing needs of lightweight mobile applications. VLC grows rapidly in the past decade for many applications (e.g., indoor data transmission, human sensing, and visual MIMO) due to its RF interference immunity and inherent high security. However, most existing VLC systems heavily rely on fixed infrastructures with less adaptability to emerging lightweight mobile applications. This work proposes Light Storage, a portable VLC system takes the advantage of commercial smartphone flashlights as the transmitter and a solar panel equipped with both data reception and energy harvesting modules as the receiver. Light Storage can achieve concurrent data transmission and energy harvesting from the visible light signals. It develops multi-level light intensity data modulation to increase data throughput and integrates the noise reduction functionality to allow portability under various lighting conditions. The system supports synchronization together with adaptive error correction to overcome both the linear and non-linear signal offsets caused by the low time-control ability from the commercial smartphones. Finally, the energy harvesting capability in Light Storage provides sufficient energy support for efficient short range communication. Light Storage is validated in both indoor and outdoor environments and can achieve over 98% data decoding accuracy, demonstrating the potential as an important alternative to support low-cost and portable short range communication.

A home automation system is a key to having effective energy efficiency in the house. In this paper, we present the design and implementation of a web-based home security and automation system. This system make use of PIR motion sensor to detect intruder in the house. This sensor is further fed to microcontroller which would help the GSM module to send notification to house owner regarding the intrusion. On the other hand, the LDR light sensor is used to provide auto-light functionality which will turn on the light at night and dim it at day time. A web-based system function as a remote control system for user to monitor control the sensors and lights at home in order to save energy consumption. This system is accessible by user anytime and anywhere as long there is an Internet connection.</span>

Multi-station integration is motivated by the requirements of distributed energies interconnection and improvements in the efficiency of energy systems. Due to the diversity of communication services and the complexity of data exchanges between in-of-station and out-of-station, multi-station integrated systems have high security requirements. However, issues related to cyber security for multi-station integrated systems are seldom explored. Hence, this paper designs the secondary system architecture and proposes cyber security protection solutions for smart energy stations (SESt) that integrate the substation, photovoltaic station, energy storage station, electric vehicle charging station, and data center station. Firstly, the composition of SESt and functions of each substation are presented, a layered architecture of SESt is designed, and data exchanges of SESt are analyzed. Then, the cyber security threats and requirements of SESt are illustrated. Moreover, the cyber security protection principle and a cyber security protection system for SESt are proposed. On this basis, a security zoning and isolation scheme for SESt is designed. Finally, a traffic isolation scheme based on virtual local area networks (VLANs), a real-time guarantee scheme for communications based on service priority, and an enhancing cyber security scheme based on improved IEC 62351 are proposed for SESt.

Microgrids have the potential to provide security and flexibility to power systems through the integration of a wide range of resources, including distributed energy storage, usually in the form of batteries. An aggregation of microgrids can enable the participation of these resources in the main system’s energy and ancillary services market. The traditional minimum-cost operation, however, can undermine microgrid’s ability to hold reserve capacity for operation in islanded mode and can rapidly degrade distributed batteries. This paper studies the impacts of various operational strategies from distributed energy storage plants on their revenues and on market prices, considering an array of microgrids that act in a synchronized fashion. The operational model minimizes the entire electric power system cost, considering transmission-connected and distributed energy resources, and capturing capacity degradation of batteries as part of the cost function. Additionally, microgrid-based, distributed batteries can provide energy arbitrage and both system-level and microgrid-level security services. Through several case studies, we demonstrate the economic impacts of distributed energy storage providing these services, including also capacity degradation. We also demonstrate the benefits of providing reserve services in terms of extra revenue and battery lifespan. Finally, we conclude that limitations in the provision of system-level services from distributed batteries due to degradation considerations and higher microgrid-level security requirements may, counterintuitively, increase system-level revenues for storage owners, if such degradation considerations and microgrid-level security requirements are adopted, at once, by a large number of microgrids, leading to unintended, non-strategic capacity withholding by distributed storage owners.

Energy is an indispensable factor for the economic growth and development of a country. Energy consumption is rapidly increasing worldwide. To fulfill this energy demand, alternative energy sources and efficient utilization are being explored. Various sources of renewable energy and their efficient utilization are comprehensively reviewed and presented in this paper. Also the trend in research and development for the technological advancement of energy utilization and smart grid system for future energy security is presented. Results show that renewable energy resources are becoming more prevalent as more electricity generation becomes necessary and could provide half of the total energy demands by 2050. To satisfy the future energy demand, the smart grid system can be used as an efficient system for energy security. The smart grid also delivers significant environmental benefits by conservation and renewable generation integration.

Анотація:
The application of RFID technology in the new energy automobile manufacturing, can achieve that the visualization, on time and collaborative business processes of energy vehicles discrete manufacturing production process, to establish a advanced "just-in-time" production model, provide real-time and accurate information for production plans and management decisions, which will help to improve the quality of enterprise production management decision-making and the overall optimization of production operations management functions. On the basis of proposed mainly from management systems and supporting techniques to solve the security issues of the RFID system, give the basic framework of build the RFID system safety management system. The security of the RFID system is technically divided into two security domains, focusing on security issues by the reader to the application system. The intrusion detection technology is introduced in RFID system, and research on the improved of intrusion detection from two aspects: First, the use of clustering algorithm for data preprocessing to reduce the computational complexity, improve the detection efficiency; second, use immune particle swarm evolutionary algorithm directly improved feature selection to improve detection accuracy.
