Glucagon is important for regulating lipid metabolism in part through its inhibition of fatty acid synthesis in adipocytes. Acetyl-CoA carboxylase 1 (ACC1) is the rate-limiting enzyme for fatty acid synthesis. Glucagon has been proposed to activate cAMP-dependent protein kinase A (PKA), which phosphorylates ACC1 to attenuate the lipogenic activity of ACC1. Because AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) also inhibits fatty acid synthesis by phosphorylation of ACC1, we examined the involvement of AMPK and its upstream kinase in the glucagon-elicited signaling in adipocytes in vitro and in vivo. LC-MS-MS analysis suggested that ACC1 was phosphorylated only at Ser79, an AMPK-specific site, in glucagon-treated adipocytes. Pharmacological inhibitors and siRNA knockdown of AMPK or PKA in adipocytes demonstrate that glucagon regulates ACC1 and ACC2 activity through AMPK but not PKA. By using Ca2+/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase kinase-β knockout (CaMKKβ−/−) mice and cultured adipocytes, we further show that glucagon activates the CaMKKβ/AMPK/ACC cascade. Additionally, fasting increases the phosphorylation of AMPK and ACC in CaMKKβ+/+ but not CaMKKβ−/− mice. These results indicate that CaMKKβ/AMPK signaling is an important molecular component in regulating lipid metabolism in adipocytes responding to glucagon and could be a therapeutic target for the dysregulation of energy storage.

ABSTRAKTerbatasnya akses dan kebutuhan masyarakat dari penggunaan energi listrik sebagai penerangan jalan pada Desa Tirtasari, Karawang. Maka dirasa perlu ikut berkontribusi dalam pengabdian bidang ilmu dan teknologi. Hal ini untuk memanfaatkan energi baru terbarukan yang ekonomis dengan potensi energi alam sekitar. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari kegiatan ini merancang alat teknologi berbasis energi turbin kinetik dan energi surya untuk menyelesaikan program ini. Pemanfaatan potensi energi yang dihasilkan dari aliran sungai dapat menghasilkan energi kinetik dari putaran turbin kinetik. Putaran yang dihasilkan dari turbin kinetik menghasilkan energi mekanik ke generator. Sehingga mampu membangkitkan energi listrik, sedangkan arus yang dihasilkan dari solar panel sebagai penggantinya. Maka metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini berupa pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan turbin. Hasil akhir dari kegiatan ini masyarakat dapat mengimplementasikannya secara langsung. Jika sewaktu-waktu aliran sungai mengecil, sehingga tidak mampu memutar turbin kinetik dan generator. Energi yang dihasilkan dari keduanya akan disimpan pada accu. Arus DC (direct current) yang disimpan pada accu akan di konverter menjadi arus AC (alternating current). Maka untuk mendapatkan listrik dengan kapasitas daya maksimum 150 Watt 220V. Adapun luaran dari pengabdian ini adalah terciptanya kemandirian energi dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Kata kunci: energi listrik; turbin kinetik; direct current; alternating current. ABSTRACTThe limited access and needs of the community from the use of electrical energy as a road lighting in Tirtasari Village, Karawang. So it is considered to have contributed to the dedication of science and technology. This is to utilize the renewable new energy that is economical with the potential of natural energy around. Therefore, the purpose of this activity designed energy-based technology tools kinetic turbine and solar energy to complete this program. The use of energy potential generated from the river flow can produce kinetic energy from the round of kinetic turbines. Rounds produced from kinetic turbines produce mechanical energy to generators. So that it can generate electrical energy, while the current generated from solar panel as a replacement. Then the method of implementation used in this activity is in the form of training and assistance for making turbines. The final result of this activity community can implement it directly. If at any time the river flow is reduced, so it is unable to play kinetic turbines and generators. The energy produced from both will be stored in Accu. The DC (Direct Current) stored on the batteries will be converter into AC (Alternating Current). So to get electricity with a maximum power capacity of 150 watts 220V. Journal Impact Factor (JIF) is a widely used and accepted indicator for measuring journal influence in academia, but it has certain limitations. Article Citation Contribution Indicator (ACCI) is defined and introduced in bibliometrics analysis. The ACCI, a new basic indicator, was adopted to analyze the papers published between 2019 and 2020 in Energy & Environment, papers with ACCI>0 and with ACCI<0 were classified into two groups. This paper employed the keyword co-occurrence technology to discover the commonalities of citation positive and citation negative papers. Citation positive papers made relatively a larger contribution to the JIF and might contain important scientific information, subsequent papers may learn from the research directions of these papers, while the citation negative papers failed to improve the performance of the journal in terms of JIF. The research showed that ACCI is an academic tool that can be used to guide scientific directions; the work flow can be used for other journal analysis. The academic journal editorial board can use it to identify potential high influence authors

An important regulator of fatty acid oxidation (FAO) is the allosteric inhibition of CPT-1 by malonyl-CoA produced by the enzyme acetyl-CoA carboxylase 2 (ACC2). Initial studies suggested that deletion of Acc2 (Acacb) increased fat oxidation and reduced adipose tissue mass but in an independently generated strain of Acc2 knockout mice we observed increased whole-body and skeletal muscle FAO and a compensatory increase in muscle glycogen stores without changes in glucose tolerance, energy expenditure or fat mass in young mice (12–16 weeks). The aim of the present study was to determine whether there was any effect of age or housing at thermoneutrality (29 °C; which reduces total energy expenditure) on the phenotype of Acc2 knockout mice. At 42–54 weeks of age, male WT and Acc2−/− mice had similar body weight, fat mass, muscle triglyceride content and glucose tolerance. Consistent with younger Acc2−/− mice, aged Acc2−/− mice showed increased whole-body FAO (24 h average respiratory exchange ratio=0.95±0.02 and 0.92±0.02 for WT and Acc2−/− mice respectively, P<0.05) and skeletal muscle glycogen content (+60%, P<0.05) without any detectable change in whole-body energy expenditure. Hyperinsulinaemic–euglycaemic clamp studies revealed no difference in insulin action between groups with similar glucose infusion rates and tissue glucose uptake. Housing Acc2−/− mice at 29 °C did not alter body composition, glucose tolerance or the effects of fat feeding compared with WT mice. These results confirm that manipulation of Acc2 may alter FAO in mice, but this has little impact on body composition or insulin action.

Pada pemanfaatan payung multifungsi menggunakan Panel Surya dengan Sensor Photocell, atau dikenal dengan istilah Umbrella Energy merupakan salah satu energy terbarukan dengan memanfaatkan sinar matahari yang menghasilkan sebuah energy listrik, dimana panel surya dan baterai dapat menkonversikan sebuah energy listrik. Kekuatan daya pada baterai dapat menyimpan sebuah energy dengan merubah arus DC atau AC, sebuah payung multifungsi diberi panel surya untuk menyerap energy cahaya matahari sebagai pusat charger handphone sekaligus tempat untuk bersantai. Payung multifungsi ini sudah di desaign dan di modifikasi pada bagian atap payung duntuk menyerap cahaya matahri. Dalam penelitian ini, digunakan 3 Panel Surya dengan kapasitas 30 WP, yang mana energi yang dihasilkan Panel Surya tersebut kemudian disimpan dalam baterai (accu) dengan kapasitas 12 volt 20 Ah. Inverter yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berkapasitas 300 watt sebagai pengubah tegangan DC 12 volt ke AC 220 volt, yang kemudian akan digunakan sebagai sumber energi listrik.

Abstract A supercapacitor (SC) is an energy storage device with high energy density, high power density, long life cycle and a bundant material in nature.. Activated carbon based on coconut shell waste (ACCS) is one of the most promising supercapacitor base materials due to its abundance in nature, environmentally friendly, and high surface area. Activated carbon based on coconut shell (ACCS) waste is a potential material as a supercapacitor base material. This is because ACCS has undergone chemical and physical activation, has a high surface area, is abundant in nature, and is environmentally friendly. However, ACCS has common ionic transport diffusion, resulting in inefficient utilization of activated carbon surface area. Therefore, ACCS composite with TiO2 material is needed. TiO2 material with a small particle size can be used to reduce the aggregation so it can increase the electrolyte to an active redox site. Therefore, this research was conducted to obtain information about the most optimum activation method for ACCS biomass and the supercapacitors enhancement with ACCS-TiO2 composite to obtain great ionic diffusion performance and an effective surface area utilization. In brief, the experiment was started by preparing the composite solutions with various compositions of TiO2 (0%, 10%, 15%, and 20%). The deposition was carried out using the doctor blade technique on the aluminum foil based substrate and the liquid electrolyte of 1 M Et4NBF4 was injected between the electrodes. The crystal structure, morphology, and elemental analysis of the composite were identified using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), and Energy Dispersive X-ray (EDX), respectively. Charge Discharge was applied to measure the electrical performance of the device. The highest performance of symmetric supercapacitor was performed by TiO2 15% that able to show its cyclic reversibility at the voltage range of 0-2 V, generated a specific capacitance of 53.10 F g-1 with the power density and maximum energy density of 367.05 W kg-1 and 26.15 Wh kg-1, respectively. Over 50 cycles, its maximum energy density was decreased to 24.83 Wh kg-1 with the capacity retention of 94.64 %.

Precious metal nanoparticles (e.g. Au, Pd and Pt) on activated carbon cloths (ACCs) were simply prepared by impregnation of metal salts dissolving in ethanol solution. Pretreatment of the ACCs was firstly performed in hydrochloric acid solution and nitric acid as oxidizing agent was employed in order to introduce oxygen complex on the ACCs fiber surfaces. Uniformly dispersed metal nanoparticles with diameter of 5-20 nm on the ACC surfaces were simply achieved without using reducing agents. Morphology and composition of the metal adsorbed ACCs were examined by Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS), respectively. Electrolytic activity of metal/ACCs was investigated by using cyclic voltammetry (CV) to demonstrate the electron-transfer properties. Results demonstrate that metals adsorbed ACCs were easily prepared with simple procedures which will be more convenient for preparations and applications.

The operating conditions of axial flow fans are closely related to the thermo-flow characteristics of the mechanical draft direct dry cooling system. Moreover, the uneven distribution of cooling air driven by axial flow fans may lead to the deterioration of the heat transfer capacity of air-cooled condensers (ACCs). Therefore, developing energy-saving operating methods for axial flow fans is very meaningful. In this work, two kinds of adjustment strategies to make the flow field more uniform are proposed for a 2 × 300 MW direct dry cooling power-generating unit. The performance of ACCs in the prevailing wind direction is predicted with the help of the macro heat exchanger model. It is found that the inlet air temperatures of fans are significantly reduced by proposed strategies, especially at high wind speeds. Moreover, the minimum cooling air can meet the cooling demand of ACCs for the strategy which made the air flow rates of all fans consistent. Compared with the case without adjustment of fans, the total power consumption of the fan array was cut down effectively, up to 13.94% at the wind speed of 12 m/s. In conclusion, the energy efficiency of ACCs can be improved by the uniform flow field.

Introduction: Low-energy proximal femur fractures are common in the aging population and the ability to identify patients at increased mortality risk provides surgeons information to improve informed decision-making with patients and families. We evaluated for gender differences in 1-year mortality after sustaining low-energy proximal femur fractures with subgroup analysis to identify the impact of fracture location, age, and comorbidities on mortality. Materials and Methods: Patients ≥40 years of age sustaining a low-energy proximal femur fracture identified at our institution between January 1, 2014, and December 31, 2017. International Classification of Diseases, Ninth Revision and International Classification of Diseases, Tenth Revision codes were used to identify comorbidities for calculation of the age-adjusted Charlson comorbidity index (ACCI). The county clerk database was searched to identify mortality within 1 year of injury. One-year mortality rates were calculated and multiple comparisons were made between genders controlling for age, fracture location, and/or ACCI. Results: Women presented with low-energy proximal femur fractures at a rate of almost 3:1 to men at our institution ( P = .001). Men demonstrated a significantly increased ACCI at presentation (5.35 ± 2.55 vs 4.86 ± 1.77, P = .03). Men had an increased 1-year mortality rate for all (31.3% vs 21.5%, P = .004) and intertrochanteric (IT) fractures (36.2% vs 22.9%, P = .008). Controlling for ACCI, gender, and fracture location, men demonstrated increased mortality rate with IT fractures ( P = .002) and trended toward but did not reach significance with femoral neck fractures ( P = .07). Discussion: Men presenting with low-energy femur fractures are at an increased mortality risk compared to women. On average, men present with an overall worse health status as identified by ACCI, which could predispose these patients not only to fractures themselves but also impair their ability to recover from injury. Conclusion: Men are at an increased 1-year mortality risk after sustaining proximal femur fractures.

Mobil tidak terbatas hanya pada mesin, namun juga berhubungan dengan sistem kelistrikan untuk menjalankan fungsinya. Listrik diperlukan untuk proses pembakaran yang terdapat pada mobil. Untuk menyimpan sumber energi listrik diperlukan Accu. Arus yang berasal dari Accu yaitu arus searah atau arus DC (Alternating Current) tegangan 12 Volt. Fungsi Accu antara lain; Pada saat mesin mati, Accu berfungsi sebagai sumber tenaga listrik yang berfungsi untuk menghidupkan sistem kelistrikan yang ada pada kendaraan, misalnya lampu sein (lampu tanda belok), klakson (horn), indikator yang ada pada dashboard, lampu kota, lampu kepala dan lain sebagainya. Pada saat mesin masih belum hidup, Accu merupakan sumber tenaga listrik satu-satunya yang digunakan, karena pada saat ini altenator pada kendaraan belum berfungsi. Pada saat melakukan starter menggunakan elektrik starter, baterai juga merupakan satu-satunya sumber listrik yang digunakan untuk menghidupkan atau menjalankan motor starter. Pada saat mesin sudah hidup, maka altenator pada kendaraan sudah berfungsi, sehingga baterai sudah tidak lagi menjadi sumber utama penyedia energi listrik. Namun pada saat mesin hidup baterai masih memiliki fungsi yaitu sebagai penstabil tegangan dari alternator. Mengingat kerja altenator kurang stabil dan bergantung dengan putaran altenator, walaupun pada alternator sudah dilengkapi dengan regulator namun masih memerlukan baterai sebagai penstabil tegangan, tegangan tersebut dialirkan ke sistem kelistrikan yang ada pada kendaraan. Di Indonesia mobil yang jumlah penumpang rata-rata mampu memuat 6 sampai 7 penumpang, adalah jenis MPV merupakan singkatan dari Multi Purpose Vehicle. Penelitian dilakukan pada salah satu jenis mobil MVP yaitu mobil merk Avanza. Sumber listrik utama yang dipakai pada mobil Toyota Avanza yaitu Accu 12 Volt 32 Ah. Dari hasil pengukuran dan perhitungan pada kelistrikan mobil dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa dengan sumber listrik utama Accu 12V/32Ah mampu memberi kebutuhan Arus Listrik ke semua beban dengan total arus 102,5 A selama 0,31h sebelum Accu kosong kembali

Thermodynamic functions of Gibbs energy, enthalpy, and entropy for the solution processes of the antimicrobial drugs Triclosan and Triclocarban in five volatile organic solvents were calculated from solubility values at temperatures from 293.15 to 313.15 K. Triclosan and Triclocarban solubility was determined in acetone, acetonitrile (AcCN), ethyl acetate (AcOEt), methanol (MetOH), and cyclohexane (CH). The excess of Gibbs energy and the activity coefficients of the solutes were also calculated. The Triclosan solubilities were greater than those of Triclocarban in all the solvents studied. At 298.15 K the solubility diminished for Triclosan in the order, acetone > AcOEt > AcCN > MetOH > CH, while it diminished for Triclocarban in the order, acetone > AcOEt > MetOH > AcCN > CH. On the other hand, thermodynamic quantities relative to the transfer process of these drugs from CH to all other organic solvents, as well as from water to organic solvents for Triclosan were also calculated in order to estimate the hydrogen-bonding contributions.

The study attempted to develop the activated carbon of cotton fibre (ACCF) from cotton waste as a high Hg2+adsorbent media and characterize physicochemical properties using scanning electron microscopy coupled with energy dispersive spectroscopy (SEM-EDS) and Hg2+adsorption kinetic by batch adsorption study with the function of contact time, solution pH, dosages of ACCF, and Hg concentration. The SEM-EDS study revealed that ACCF is composed of carbon (95.1%) and phosphorus pentoxide (4.9%). Obtained results of adsorption kinetics showed that 15 min of contact time is required to achieve the equilibrium state and wide range of pH (4.08–7) is favourable for maximum Hg adsorption. The Hg2+adsorption capacity showed a decreasing trend with increasing dose of ACCF, whereas a reverse response of adsorption capacity was pronounced with increasing Hg concentration. The data was well described by Freundlich isotherm model and determined the high Hg2+adsorption capacity of ACCF (169.2 mg/g). To our knowledge, the application of ACCF in removing Hg2+is the first study. High Hg2+adsorption capacity, economic feasibility, availability of cotton fibre waste, and simple preparation method concluded that it could be used as a novel low-cost and environmentally sound adsorbent media for removing high rate of Hg2+from aqueous phase.

Energi listrik yang dihasilkan oleh Panel Surya tersebut masih berupa energi listrik dengan tegangan searah. Oleh karena kebanyakan peralatan listrik yang ada menggunakan tegangan bolak-balik, maka diperlukan sebuah inverter untuk mengubah tegangan searah yang dihasilkan oleh Panel Surya menjadi tegangan bolak balik. Inverter yang digunakan dalam penelitian iniberkapasitas 2000 watt sebagai pengubah tegangan DC 12 volt ke AC 220 vol, yang kemudian akan digunakan sebagai sumber energi listrik untuk peralatan listrik yang berupa blender dan lampu listrik

Abstract The prediction of crystal properties has always been limited by huge computational costs. In recent years, the rise of machine learning methods has gradually made it possible to study crystal properties on a large scale. We propose an attention mechanism-based crystal graph convolutional neural network, which builds a machine learning model by inputting crystallographic information files and target properties. In our research, the attention mechanism is introduced in the crystal graph convolutional neural network (CGCNN) to learn the local chemical environment, and node normalization is added to reduce the risk of overfitting. We collect structural information and calculation data of about 36 000 crystals and examine the prediction performance of the models for the formation energy, total energy, bandgap, and Fermi energy of crystals in our research. Compared with the CGCNN, it is found that the accuracy (ACCU) of the predicted properties can be further improved to varying degrees by the introduction of the attention mechanism. Moreover, the total magnetization and bandgap can be classified under the same neural network framework. The classification ACCU of wide bandgap semiconductor crystals with a bandgap threshold of 2.3 eV reaches 93.2%, and the classification ACCU of crystals with a total magnetization threshold of 0.5 μ B reaches 88.8%. The work is helpful to realize large-scale prediction and classification of crystal properties, accelerating the discovery of new functional crystal materials.

Based on the consideration of the dual attributes of agricultural carbon emission and carbon sink, this study measures the agricultural carbon compensation rate (ACCR) of 31 provinces in China from 2006 to 2019, the impact of agricultural financial support on ACCR and its transmission mechanism are empirically analyzed using a spatial econometric model and intermediary effect model. The results show that: (1) a significant spatial correlation between agricultural financial support and ACCR; (2) increased agricultural financial support is conducive to the improvement of ACCR; (3) agricultural financial support has the most significant effect on the ACCR in the eastern region; (4) the effect of agricultural financial support on ACCR has a spatial spillover effect but is not significant; (5) agricultural technological progress is the intermediary variable that agricultural financial support affecting ACCR. Therefore, it is suggested to promote agricultural emission reduction through collaboration, innovative financial support mechanisms, implementation of differentiated financial support strategies, exerting the radiation effect of financial support to agriculture, and pushing up the level of agricultural mechanization.

ABSTRACTHost cell-free (axenic) culture ofCoxiella burnetiiin acidified citrate cysteine medium-2 (ACCM-2) has provided important opportunities for investigating the biology of this naturally obligate intracellular pathogen and enabled the development of tools for genetic manipulation. However, ACCM-2 has complex nutrient sources that preclude a detailed study of nutritional factors required forC. burnetiigrowth. Metabolic reconstruction ofC. burnetiipredicts that the bacterium cannot synthesize all amino acids and therefore must sequester some from the host. To examineC. burnetiiamino acid auxotrophies, we developed a nutritionally defined medium with known amino acid concentrations, termed ACCM-D. Compared to ACCM-2, ACCM-D supported longer logarithmic growth, a more gradual transition to stationary phase, and approximately 5- to 10-fold greater overall replication. Small-cell-variant morphological forms generated in ACCM-D also showed increased viability relative to that generated in ACCM-2. Lack of growth in amino acid-deficient formulations of ACCM-D revealedC. burnetiiauxotrophy for 11 amino acids, including arginine. Heterologous expression ofLegionella pneumophilaargGHinC. burnetiipermitted growth in ACCM-D missing arginine and supplemented with citrulline, thereby providing a nonantibiotic means of selection ofC. burnetiigenetic transformants. Consistent with bioinformatic predictions, the elimination of glucose did not impairC. burnetiireplication. Together, these results highlight the advantages of a nutritionally defined medium in investigations ofC. burnetiimetabolism and the development of genetic tools.IMPORTANCEHost cell-free growth and genetic manipulation ofCoxiella burnetiihave revolutionized research of this intracellular bacterial pathogen. Nonetheless, undefined components of growth medium have made studies ofC. burnetiiphysiology difficult and have precluded the development of selectable markers for genetic transformation based on nutritional deficiencies. Here, we describe a medium, containing only amino acids as the sole source of carbon and energy, which supports robust growth and improved viability ofC. burnetii. Growth studies confirmed thatC. burnetiicannot replicate in medium lacking arginine. However, genetic transformation of the bacterium with constructs containing the last two genes in theL. pneumophilaarginine biosynthesis pathway (argGH) allowed growth on defined medium missing arginine but supplemented with the arginine precursor citrulline. Our results advance the field by facilitating studies ofC. burnetiimetabolism and allowing non-antibiotic-based selection ofC. burnetiigenetic transformants, an important achievement considering that selectable makers based on antibiotic resistance are limited.

In the operation of the ship, fishermen need fossil fuels and the use of electricity on board the ship. But not infrequently fishermen often have an imbalance problem between the operational costs of the ship and the profit. From the observations, the cost of recharging accu battery and the purchase of diesel fuel became the main obstacles. the author observes the need for the use of electricity and fuel is the main thing on board, one of which is for the use of lighting, drying and driving the ship. In addition, the depletion of fossil energy resources is also a major concern. To solve the problem, an alternative replacement is needed. The development of renewable energy resources through solar energy can be planned as to address the problem in question. With solar panel technology installed on board fishing boats, the need for electricity use and replacement of diesel fuel can be helped. This technology converts solar energy into electrical energy through solar cells which are then stored in the accu battery for the needs of electricity sources on fishing boats.

Aki merupakan komponen penyimpanan arus listrik yang biasa digunakan untuk menyalakan sebuah rangkaian kelistrikan dimana tidak ada sumber listrik utama. Saat ini, sering terjadi pemadaman listrik oleh Perusahan Listrik Negara (PLN) secara tiba-tiba, sehingga mengganggu kegiatan masyarakat. Pengguna listrik termasuk rumah sakit, perkantoran, dan industri memilih untuk mengandalkan genset ketika listrik padam. Penyediaan sumber energi listrik memegang peranan penting dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, oleh sebab itu diperlukan pasokan energi listrik secara terus menerus. Dalam pongoperasian genset, jarang ditemukan pengontrolan genset secara otomatis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat sebuah alat monitoring accu menggunakan arduino dengan metode Waterfall. Proses penelitian yang dilakukan dengan pengumpulan data melalui studi pustaka, wawancara, dan observasi. Tahapan pembuatan sistem monitoring menggunakan metode waterfall yaitu analisa sistem, Design, implementasi, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan. Sistem monitoring dalam perancangan perangkat keras menggunakan Arduino Nano sebagai pengolah data, dan ESP32 sebagai pengubung koneksi internet ke aplikasi Aqquviewer, sedangkan perangkat lunak menggunakan Arduino IDE, MIT App Invetor sebagai aplikasi berbasis android, dan telegram yang akan memberikan notifikasi error. Hasil akhir dari sistem Monitoring Charging accu menggunakan arduino yaitu monitoring accu melalui aplikasi berbasis android yang dapat dipantau dari jarak jauh. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian yang dilakukan ke responden melalui kuesioner yang disebar kesebagaian indrustri, dan bengkel motor dapat disampaikan bahwa hasil yangdidapatkan dari sistem monitoring accu ini adalah 4,34. Diharapkan sistem monitoring ini dapat bermanfaat untuk berbagai pihak.

Perahu ketinting merupakan salah satu perahu tradisional yang masih banyak ditemui di pulau Kalimantan terutama di daerah pesisir. Penggunaan terhadap bahan bakar minyak (BBM) perahu ketinting merupakan salah satu tujuan pelayanan pemerintah Kalimantan Utara yang terpenting untuk, meningkatkan kesejahteraan perekonomian para nelayan pesisir dalam usaha menangkap ikan dan sebagai alat transportasi utama. Perahu ketinting listrik yang diteliti merupakan sebuah prototype, yang mana teknologi panel surya sebagai pembangkit energi listrik untuk penggerak baling-baling perahu. Proses pembangkitan energi listrik menggunakan panel surya diawali dengan penyinaran matahari yang cukup, agar dapat diperhitungkan untuk kapasitas penyimpanan daya listrik pada baterai (accu), sehingga kebutuhan akan lamanya penggunaan prototype perahu listrik akan dapat diprediksi. Prototype yang dibuat pada sistem pengendali kecepatan baling-baling perahu ada enam percepatan, dan untuk monitoring kapasitas daya listrik pada accu menerapkan metode analisa what if dengan sistem close loop pada chip mikrokontroller, sehingga program akan dapat membaca nilai masukkan dari sensor voltage untuk data aktual tegangan listrik, arus listrik dan ampere listrik pada accu, selanjutnya akan dikomparasi pada set point untuk dapat ditampilkan sebagai informasi kapasitas daya listrik yang dapat digunakan. Hasil informasi kapasitas daya listrik merupakan data nilai konversi tegangan listrik arus searah atau DC (Direct Current) yang didapat dari accu dengan nilai 12 Volt, menjadi tegangan listrik 220 Volt berarus bolak-balik atau AC (Alternating Current) dengan tingkat kebenaran hingga mendekati 100%.

The use of renewable energy is currently one of the alternative energies to support the decline in fossil energy in Indonesia. Solar energy is the right choice for now, as a solar power plant (PLTS), which is a renewable technology, which can convert solar thermal energy into electrical energy. The solar power generation system has various components, one of which is the Solar charge controller. The purpose of this research is to optimize battery charging using the MPPT Solar charge controller type. MPPT solar charge controller, has better characteristics and is able to charge the battery (accu) faster. In this study also pay attention to the effect of light intensity and temperature on the power output generated by the solar cell. The results showed that the MPPT Solar charge controller was able to work better and faster in charging the battery (accu) than other Solar charge controllers. It is proven by the results of the average voltage, current and output power of the MPPT controller of 13.79 volts, 3.06 amperes and 42.26 watts of power, for high light intensity and temperature do not always affect the results of high voltage, current and power, because environmental factors also affect the output of the solar cell.

The relativistic mean field (RMF) + analytic continuation in the coupling constant (ACCC) + Bardeen–Cooper–Schrieffer (BCS) approach is first presented to describe exotic nuclei by taking into account the resonant continuum effect in pairing correlations. Constant pairing strength is used in BCS approximation. Resonance parameters and wave functions are extracted from effective ACCC approach within the framework of the self-consistent RMF theory. The pairing energies, pairing correlation energies, binding energies, two-neutron separation energies, neutron rms radii, and neutron densities for neutron-rich even–even Ni isotopes are explored in the RMF + ACCC + BCS approach with NL3 effective interaction. It shows that the results are in good agreement with those of other theoretical approaches.

Extensive operational performance data from the Siemens Power Generation V64.3 unit in Obernburg, Germany (operated by Kraftwerk Obernburg GmbH) is evaluated. The unit was commissioned in 1996 and has been running continuously in base load operation with fuel gas to supply heat and power to a nearby chemical plant. In rare cases, fuel oil is used as a backup fuel. During the first major outage after approximately 25,000 equivalent operating hours (EOH), the Siemens PG Advanced Compressor Cleaning System (ACCS) was implemented at Obernburg. ACCS features separate nozzle systems for online and offline compressor cleaning accounting for different operating conditions. For online cleaning, the droplet size is optimized for the droplets to remain in the main air flow in order to minimize erosion effects while providing a homogeneous field over the whole air intake. With reduced rotational speed during offline compressor cleaning, erosion is less critical. Offline nozzles therefore provide higher mass flow and larger droplets in order to maximize cleaning performance for all compressor stages. ACCS, in its maximum automated version, features operation from the control room, online-washing at low ambient temperatures (officially released down to −15 °C without GT anti-icing) and minimum use of manpower. The ACCS system in Obernburg was operated according to the recommended online washing procedure. By June 2002, the V64.3 unit in Obernburg reached 50,000 EOH and the second major inspection was carried out. For this paper, operational data from the second inspection intervals (24,350–49,658 EOH) and from three performance tests with calibrated equipment are compared in order to evaluate the effectiveness of the advanced compressor cleaning system. Statistical evaluation of single-wash performance recovery and the evolution of long-term performance are presented. The effects of degradation and fouling are differentiated. It is shown that ACCS has a significant benefit for long-term engine performance.

Objective. Inflammation in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) leads to the development of local and generalized bone loss. Rheumatoid factor (RF) and anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide antibodies (ACCP) are believed to play a negative role in the radiological progression of RA. The use of such antiresorptive therapy as denosumab – monoclonal antibodies to RANKL (receptor activator of nuclear factor kappa-B ligand), reduces the activity of osteoclasts, increases bone mineral density (BMD), and also potentially affects the erosive process at RA. The aim of the study is to evaluate the effect of denosumab therapy on BMD and erosion count in patients with RA and osteoporosis (OP) in consideration of the positivity in the RF and ACCP in serum and the baseline RA activity. Materials and methods. The 12-month prospective study of the efficacy of denosumab therapy (60 mg subcutaneously every 6 months) in patients with RA and OP included 66 postmenopausal women; age – 59.4±7.5 years, duration of RA – 17.8±10.6 years, RF-positive – 47 (72%) patients, ACCP-positive – 48 (74%) patients. At baseline and after 12 months, dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry was performed with an assessment of BMD in the lumbar spine (L1– L4), proximal femur (hip neck and total hip), distal forearm; X-ray of the hands and distal parts of the feet in direct projection, followed by assessment of erosive-destructive changes according to the Sharp/van der Heijde method. Results. A significant increase in BMD was established in all studied sites of the skeleton despite the positivity of the RF and ACCP (for the hip neck p=0.05), while a significant increase in BMD in the RF- and ACCP-negative group was detected only in L1–L4 site. The progression of the increase in erosion count was noted in the RF- and ACCP-positive group while in the RF- and ACCP-negative group this indicator did not change. Regardless of the baseline activity of RA (by DAS28 (Disease Activity Score 28)) the BMD of most parts of the skeleton were stabilized. In patients with moderate RA activity, BMD increased significantly in L1–L4 in both groups: RF- and ACCP-positive and -negative , as well as in the total hip – in RF- and ACCP-positive group. The dynamics of the erosion count in RA patients did not depend on the baseline degree of DAS28 activity, no significant changes were detected in the analyzed groups. Conclusions. RF and ACCP positivity in serum in patients with RA and OP treated with denosumab did not have a negative effect on the dynamics of BMD, while the number of erosions increased. The baseline RA activity level did not affect the dynamics of the erosion count and the dynamics of BMD in most subgroups – BMD levels have been increased or stabilized.

This study reports the recycling of discarded denim textiles by the production of all-cellulose composites (ACCs). Discarded denim fabrics were shredded into fibers and then made into nonwoven fabrics by carding and needle punching. The produced nonwoven fabrics were converted to ACCs by one-step and two-step methods using an ionic liquid (IL), 1-butyl-3-methyl imidazolium acetate ([BMIM][Ac]). In this study, the effect of different ACC manufacturing methods, denim fabrics with different contents (a 100% cotton denim (CO) and a blend material (cotton, poly-ester and elastane (BCO)) and reusing of IL as a recycled cellulose solvent on the mechanical pro-perties of the formed ACCs were investigated. The ACCs were characterized according to their tensile and impact properties, as well as their void content. Microscopic analysis was carried out to study the morphology of a cross-section of the formed composites. The choice of the one-step method with recycled IL, pure IL or with a blend material (BCO) had no influence on the tensile properties. Instead, the result showed that the two-step method, with and without DMSO, will influence the E-modulus but not the tensile strength. Regarding the impact properties of the samples, the only factor likely to influence the impact energy was the one-step method with CO and BCO.

Listrik adalah salah satu aspek penting bagi manusia untuk menjalankan segala kegiatan sehari-hari. Seiring dengan terus meningkatnya jumlah penduduk, maka kebutuhan akan pemakaian energi listrik juga semakin meningkat. Namun, sebagian besar konsumen energi listrik masih mengandalkan PLN (Perusahaan Listrik Negara), sehingga diperlukan banyak inovasi di bidang ketenagalistrikan, terutama energi alternatif yang ramah lingkungan. Dengan memanfaatkan jumlah penduduk yang terus meningkat tiap tahunnya, maka dibuatlah alat yang dapat mengkonversikan energi tekanan dari kendaraan sepeda motor manjadi energi listrik. Metode yang digunakan didalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimental. Studi ini telah berhasil mengintegrasikan teknologi daur ulang energi dalam sebuah konsep pemanenan energi menggunakan tranduser piezoelectric yang divalidasi menggunakan 200 kali pijakan pada prototipe speed bump. Dari total 200 kali pijakan pada speed bump tegangan yang disimpan pada ACCU terus mengalami kenaikan tetapi tegangan yang dihasilkan oleh piezoelectric terus mengalami penurunan pada 50 pijakan pertama yaitu penambahannya sebesar 1,1V dimana tegangan ACCU awal adalah 3,4 V menjadi 4,5 V, dipijakan ke 100 penambahan tegangan masih stabil yaitu sebesar 1,1 V, dipijakan ke 150 mulai terjadi penurunan interval yaitu menjadi 0,9V, dipijakan terakhir yaitu pijakan ke 200 terjadi lagi penurunan yaitu menjadi 0,5 V.

Seiring dengan terus meningkatnya jumlah penduduk, maka kebutuhan akan pemakaian energi listrik juga semakin meningkat. Namun, sebagian besar konsumen energi listrik masih mengandalkan PLN (Perusahaan Listrik Negara), sehingga diperlukan banyak inovasi di bidang ketenagalistrikan, terutama energi alternatif yang ramah lingkungan. Dengan memanfaatkan jumlah penduduk yang terus meningkat tiap tahunnya, maka dibuatlah alat yang dapat mengkonversikan energi tekanan dari kendaraan sepeda motor manjadi energi listrik. Metode yang digunakan didalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimental. Studi ini telah berhasil mengintegrasikan teknologi daur ulang energi dalam sebuah konsep pemanenan energi menggunakan tranduser piezoelectric yang divalidasi menggunakan 200 kali pijakan pada prototipe speed bump. Dari total 200 kali pijakan pada speed bump tegangan yang disimpan pada ACCU terus mengalami kenaikan tetapi tegangan yang dihasilkan oleh piezoelectric terus mengalami penurunan pada 50 pijakan pertama yaitu penambahannya sebesar 1,1V dimana tegangan ACCU awal adalah 3,4 V menjadi 4,5 V, dipijakan ke 100 penambahan tegangan masih stabil yaitu sebesar 1,1 V, dipijakan ke 150 mulai terjadi penurunan interval yaitu menjadi 0,9V, dipijakan terakhir yaitu pijakan ke 200 terjadi lagi penurunan yaitu menjadi 0,5 V.

The effect of blanching conditions on the hot-air drying kinetics of three pomegranates (cvs. “Acco”, “Herskawitz” and “Wonderful”) were assessed. Water blanching conditions considered were 90 °C for 30 s, 90 °C for 60 s, 100 °C for 30 s and 100 °C for 60 s. The drying experiments were carried out at 60 °C, 19.6% relative humidity and at a constant air velocity of 1.0 m s−1. The experimental curves were fitted to seven different drying models. For the Acco cultivar, the drying behaviour was best predicted by the Logarithmic and Page model for blanched (R2 ranging between 0.9966 and 0.9989) and unblanched (R2 = 0.9918) samples, respectively. Furthermore, for the Herskawitz cultivar, Logarithm, Page and Midili models were most suitable for predicting drying behaviour of both blanched and unblanched samples. Also, for the Wonderful cultivar, Logarithm and Midili models were most accurate for predicting the drying behaviour for both blanched and unblanched samples amongst other models. The blanched samples dried faster with shorter drying times: “Acco” (7 h), “Herskawitz” (8 h), and “Wonderful” (7 h), compared to the unblanched samples, which dried after 15, 20 and 11 h, respectively. Effective diffusion coefficient of moisture in pomegranate arils ranged from 4.81 × 10−9 and 1.11 × 10−8 m2 s−1 for the Acco cultivar, for the Herskawitz cultivar; 3.29 × 10−9 and 1.01 × 10−8 m2 s−1 and for the Wonderful cultivar; 5.83 × 10−9 and 1.09 × 10−8 m2 s−1. Overall, blanching resulted in low energy consumption during drying of pomegranate arils. In addition, the Logarithmic model generally showed an appropriate model for blanched samples regardless of cultivar. For unblanched samples, the Page model was more appropriate for “Acco” and “Herskawitz”, while the Midili model was appropriate for “Wonderful”. Therefore, this study provided science-based and practical drying conditions for the investigated pomegranate cultivars.

Subjects with a low birth weight (LBW) display increased risk of developing type 2 diabetes (T2D). We hypothesized that this is associated with defects in muscle adaptations following acute and regular physical activity, evident by impairments in the exercise-induced activation of AMPK signaling. We investigated 21 LBW and 21 normal birth weight (NBW) subjects during 1 h of acute exercise performed at the same relative workload before and after 12 wk of exercise training. Multiple skeletal muscle biopsies were obtained before and after exercise. Protein levels and phosphorylation status were determined by Western blotting. AMPK activities were measured using activity assays. Protein levels of AMPKα1 and -γ1 were significantly increased, whereas AMPKγ3 levels decreased with training independently of group. The LBW group had higher exercise-induced AMPK Thr172 phosphorylation before training and higher exercise-induced ACC2 Ser221 phosphorylation both before and after training compared with NBW. Despite exercise being performed at the same relative intensity (65% of V̇o2peak), the acute exercise response on AMPK Thr172, ACC2 Ser221, AMPKα2β2γ1, and AMPKα2β2γ3 activities, GS activity, and adenine nucleotides as well as hexokinase II mRNA levels were all reduced after exercise training. Increased exercise-induced muscle AMPK activation and ACC2 Ser221 phosphorylation in LBW subjects may indicate a more sensitive AMPK system in this population. Long-term exercise training may reduce the need for AMPK to control energy turnover during exercise. Thus, the remaining γ3-associated AMPK activation by acute exercise after exercise training might be sufficient to maintain cellular energy balance.

Salt reabsorption is the major energy-requiring process in the kidney, and AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) is an important regulator of cellular metabolism. Mice with targeted deletion of the β1-subunit of AMPK (AMPK-β1−/− mice) had significantly increased urinary Na+ excretion on a normal salt diet. This was associated with reduced expression of the β-subunit of the epithelial Na+ channel (ENaC) and increased subapical tubular expression of kidney-specific Na+-K+-2Cl− cotransporter 2 (NKCC2) in the medullary thick ascending limb of Henle. AMPK-β1−/− mice fed a salt-deficient diet were able to conserve Na+, but renin secretion increased 180% compared with control mice. Cyclooxygenase-2 mRNA also increased in the kidney cortex, indicating greater signaling through the macula densa tubular salt-sensing pathway. To determine whether the increase in renin secretion was due to a change in regulation of fatty acid metabolism by AMPK, mice with a mutation of the inhibitory AMPK phosphosite in acetyl-CoA carboxylase 1 [ACC1-knockin (KI)S79A mice] were examined. ACC1-KIS79A mice on a normal salt diet had no increase in salt loss or renin secretion, and expression of NKCC2, Na+-Cl− cotransporter, and ENaC-β were similar to those in control mice. When mice were placed on a salt-deficient diet, however, renin secretion and cortical expression of cyclooxygenase-2 mRNA increased significantly in ACC1-KIS79A mice compared with control mice. In summary, our data suggest that renin synthesis and secretion are regulated by AMPK and coupled to metabolism by phosphorylation of ACC1.

Single-crystal X-ray diffraction and quantum mechanical theories were used to examine in detail the subtle nature of non-covalent interactions in the [2:1:1] multicomponent crystal of 1,1-aminocyclopentanecarboxylic acid:oxalic acid:water. The crystal, which is a hydrate salt of the amino acid with the hydrogen-oxalate ion, also contains the zwitterion of the amino acid in equal proportions. It was found that a dimeric cation [Acc5(Z)...Acc5(C)]+bonded by an O—H...O hydrogen bond exists due to a charge transfer between acid and carboxylate groups. The three-dimensional crystal is built by blocks stacked along the [101] direction by dispersion interactions, with each block growing along two directions: a hydrogen oxalate HOX−...HOX−catameric supramolecular structure along the [010] direction; and double ...HOX−—W—[Acc5(Z)... Acc5(C)]+... chains related by inversion centers along the [1 0 {\bar 1}] direction. A PBE-DFT optimization, under periodic boundary conditions, was carried out. The fully optimized structure obtained was used to extract the coordinates to calculate the stabilization energy between the dimers under the crystal field, employing the M062X/aug-cc-pVTZ level of theory. The non-covalent index isosurfaces employed here allow the visualization of where the hydrogen bond and dispersion interactions contribute within the crystal. The crystal atomic arrangements are analyzed by employing the Atoms in Molecules and electron localization function theories. Within this context, the presence of density bond critical points is employed as a criterion for proving the existence of the hydrogen bond and it was found that these results agree with those rendered by the crystallographic geometrical analysis, with only three exceptions, for which bond critical points were not found.

Therefore the author is interested in making and testing the voltage, on the boost converter with the aim to maximize the performance of the DC Genertator as a pensupplay Batterai/accu on PLTH Pico Hydro. The DC-voltage source of the DC-DC converter can be obtained from a generator, or an AC voltage source that is air-conditioned to DC. While Dc-DC converter is a power electronic circuit, to convert a DC to DC voltage input into the output voltage with a greater value. The test results of the voltage from the field data can be concluded as follows. The voltage boost converter test results, on the Pico Hydro Hybrid power plant can produce a voltage of 13 volts from the output DC Generator 8.39 Volt. The output voltage generated by the boost converter is 13.4 volts, can be stable although the output voltage of the generator is variable. With the addition of the tool boost converter on PLTH Pico Hydro, can help battery charging/ACCU to charge the required voltage of the battery is 12 volts, from the boos convevter 13.4 volt long time charging ACCU 5.3 hours.

In the 5.5 MV tandem T11/25 Accelerator Laboratory of NCSR “Demokritos” monoenergetic neutron beams have been produced in the energy range ∼16–19 MeV using a new Ti-tritiated target of 373 GBq activity, by means of the 3H(d,n)4He reaction. The corresponding beam energies obtained from the accel- erator, were 0.8–3.7 deuterons. The maximum flux has been determined to be of the order of 106 n/s·cm2, implementing reference reactions. An investigation of the energy dependence of the neutron fluence has been carried out with the multiple foil activation technique. The beam has been used for the measurement of (n,2n) reaction cross section on several isotopes at 16.7 and 17 MeV.

The objective of this work is to contribute to energy justice in rural areas in Togo by promoting entrepreneurship based on the productive use of energy. To this end, in 2019 we conducted surveys of 650 rural households spread across the five economic regions of Togo. The data were collected with CSPro 6.3 software, cleaned with STATA software and analyzed with Microsoft Office EXCEL 2013 software. Based on the results obtained, three electricity supply scenarios for a rural wet coffee processing company, envisaged in the plateau region, were simulated with the HOMER Pro 3.14.4 software. The results of the surveys show that only 16% of households are connected to the electricity grid and therefore indicate to develop the available energy resources expressed, namely solar (80.9%), biomass (68.9%), water sources (47.1%) and agricultural residues (44.5%). Respondents, 64.77% of whom work in agriculture and breeding, expressed the need for the use of productive electrical equipment. The best-case scenario simulated, a mini-grid supplying the wet coffee processing company and households, revealed a levelized cost of electricity of XOF 394/kWh; lower than the cost of electrification of the company, XOF 814/kWh or that of households, XOF 488/kWh. However, this cost must be further reduced if energy is to be financially accessible to rural populations. To validate this concept, two other rural entrepreneurial initiatives will be simulated in two different agro-ecological zones of Togo

The contribution of renewable energies to the world's total energy demand has increased particularly during the last decades, and they will continue gaining market share. The European energy and climate policies have as one of their targets 20% of final energy from renewable origin by 2020. Underground coal mines closured and flooded constitute large underground reservoirs that can be economically managed to supply geothermal energy (heating and cooling) by means of heat pumps. This paper analyzes the geothermal potential of the water stored inside the coal mines of the Asturian Central Coal Basin (ACCB) and the reduction of CO2 emissions compared to the use of fossil fuels. The results of the study that has been carried out show a capacity of 50 MWt. The potential for generation thermal energy is 112,000 MWh/year with an electric consumption of 14,000 MWh/year. The Coefficient Of Performance (COP) medium is 8 kWht/kWhe. The reduction of CO2 emissions compared to other fuel sources can reach 80%.

This paper presents an adaptive control and communication protocol (ACCP) for the ultra-low power simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT) system for sensor applications. The SWIPT system-related operations depend on harvested radio frequency (RF) energy from the ambient environment. The necessary power for SWIPT system operation is not always available and it depends on the available RF energy in the ambient environment, transmitted RF power from the SWIPT transmitter, and the distance from the transmitter and channel conditions. Thus, an efficient control and communication protocol is required which can control the SWIPT system for sensor applications which mainly consists of a transmitter and a receiver. Multiple data frame structures are used to optimize the exchange of bits for the communication and control of the SWIPT system. Both SWIPT transmitter and receiver are capable of using multiple modulation schemes which can be switched depending on the channel condition and the available RF energy in the ambient environment. This provides support for automatic switching between the time switching scheme and power splitting scheme for the distribution of received RF power in the SWIPT receiver. It also adjusts the digital clock frequency at the SWIPT receiver according to the harvested power level to optimize the power consumption. The SWIPT receiver controller with ACCP is implemented in 180 nm CMOS technology. The RF frequency of the SWIPT operation is 5.8 GHz. Digital clock frequency at the SWIPT receiver can be adjusted between 32 kHz and 2 MHz which provides data rates from 8 to 500 kbps, respectively. The power consumption and area utilization are 12.3 µW and 0.81 mm².

Long noncoding RNA (lncRNAs) are key epigenetic factors that drive the origin and progression of human cancers via mechanisms that are largely unknown. We have previuosly reported the clinical significance of a lncRNA signature in multiple myeloma (MM) as independent risk predictor for clinical outcome; and recently identified a lncRNA RROL (RNA Regulator of Lipogenesis) with impact on MM cell proliferation. Here we describe a unique regulatory function for RROL in the control of gene networks involved in the de novo lipogenesis (DNL) pathway, ultimately impacting MM cell growth and survival. Based on growth and survival impact of RROL depletion, we performed integrated transcriptomic analysis of RNA-seq data after RROL depletion in MM cell lines and CD138+ patient MM cells, and identified a set of significantly modulated metabolic genes including the acetyl Co-A Carboxylase 1 (ACC1) gene, encoding a rate-limiting enzyme of the DNL pathway. This metabolic pathway converts nutrients into fatty acids serving for energy storage or biosynthesis of membranes and signaling molecules. Consistent with the transcriptional control of ACC1, we have observed that RROL inhibition in cell lines and primary MM cells significantly decreased the incorporation of C14-radiolabeled glucose into de novo synthesized lipids. Importantly, supplementation with exogenous palmitate, the main downstream product of DNL pathway, rescued the growth inhibitory effect of RROL depletion on MM cells, further confirming the importance of the DNL pathway in the oncogenic activity of RROL in MM. To understand the molecular mechanism through which RROL regulates ACC1 expression and its metabolic axis, we evaluated the RROL interactome in MM cells. RNA-Protein Pull Down (RPPD) and in vivo RNA yeast three-hybrid (Y3H) assays led to the identification of MYC as relevant direct partner of RROL. These results were further validated by qRT-PCR analysis of MYC-bound RNA obtained through RNA immunoprecipitation (RIP) assay. Using experimental model of conditional MYC KD (P493-6), we found that RROL exerts regulatory activity on ACC1 only in the presence of MYC. Mapping of MYC genomic occupancy by ChIP-seq and gene expression after MYC KD in MM cells revealed that ACC1 is a direct transcriptional target of MYC in cells expressing RROL. These data indicate that RROLand MYC cooperate in the transcriptional control of ACC1. Moreover, we found that RROL itself is transcriptionally regulated by MYC, suggesting the existence of a feed-forward regulatory loop in which MYC enhances the expression of RROL that, in turn, drives MYC transcriptional activity to ACC1. We hypothesized that RROL may shape the protein interacting network of MYC to confer specificity for ACC1 promoter. To this end, we performed mass spectrometry analysis of MYC interactome in three MM cell lines in the presence or in the absence of RROL and identified the transcriptional modulator WDR82 as RROL-dependent MYC partner. Interestingly, WDR82 directly interacts with RROL as assessed in the RPPD and RNA Y3H assays, and transcriptionally regulates ACC1 in RROL-dependent manner. These data indicate that RROL catalyzes the interaction of MYC with the transcriptional modulator WDR82 to form a transcriptional ternary complex regulating ACC1 expression. To therapeutically antagonize the RROL lipogenic signaling we have pre-clinically tested small molecule inhibitors of ACC1 (ACC1i). We have observed significant anti-MM activity of ACC1i in vitro in a large panel of MM cell lines and primary MM cells from patients; and in vivo in mouse models of human MM including the localized subcutaneous model and the disseminated model that establish a more aggressive systemic disease. Importantly, we have now developed clinically applicable ASOs and small molecule-like compounds to directly target RROL in MM cells. These studies are ongoing and will be presented. In conclusion, we here report a unique regulatory function of a novel lncRNA supporting MM cell growth via its control of the lipogenic metabolic axis. The availability of oral inhibitors of ACC1 as well as the ongoing development of RROL inhibitors may allow clinical application of this unique targeted therapy in MM. Анотація:
The control of rat pest in rice nurseries to obtain increased production continues to be done. In an effort to overcome the problem of rat pest various alternative controls have been carried out, both in technical culture, physical mechanics, and chemically. To reduce the undesirable effects of using chemicals to control rat pets, it is necessary to use other alternative rat pets control. Based on these problems, this study conducted various test to create a design that could be used to repel rat pests. The method used includes electrical and systematic design. The steps taken include the sate of literature study then designing, manufacturing hardware and software integrating the system and testing and analyzing the system. Considering these theories, it can find out the programming of microcontrollers, LDR sensors, Cameras, Internet Networks, NE555, Solar Panels, and Accu.This study uses several tests, including testing the LDR sensor, Camera, Internet Network, NE555, Solar Panel and Accu. LDR sensor is functions to detect rat objects, cameras to take video directly, internet network to send video from the microcontroller to the user, NE555 to emit ultrasonic soungd waves to repel rat pests, solar panels as a source of electrical energy, and accu as electrical energy storage that produced solar panels. From all of test above we get results when the LDR Sensor detects a rat then the NE555 will emit ultrasonic waves, then the camera sends video via iot to usser.

Abstract The paper presents the adiabatic installation of compressed gases energy storage. The authors present the results of analyzes for this type of installation due to the selection of thermal storage material. The simulations were carried out for basalt, granite and ceramics (alumina) as well as for porosity value from 0.375 to 0.39 of basalt-filled reservoirs in Thermal Energy Storage (TES) installation. Characteristics of outlet air temperature, air pressure drop amount of energy stored and external heat losses as a time functions during the charging phase are presented. The research indicated that due to the lowest density and average heat capacity of the materials studied, granite has the fastest and most intense physical exit loss from the storage tank which was approximately 1100 W. However, there was no significant effect on air pressure drop depending on the chosen accumulation materials. The effect of rock bed porosity on the pressure drop of flowing air was investigated. For a constant mass flow rate, pressure drop values ranging from 2200 Pa to 6200 Pa were obtained depending on the porosity value.

The most spectacular final phase of an evolved star, is the supernova explosion. It has been suggested by observations that such an event might not be spherically symmetric. This asphericity could be explained by the formation of jets of accel- erated particles by the explosion, which could interact with the stellar matter and give rise to a possible nucleosynthesis. Such a nucleosynthesis is studied. The fi- nal abundance pattern is shown to depend on the values of the model parameters adopted, especially the energy spectrum of the accelerated particles.

A control algorithm for Parallel Connected Offshore Wind Turbines with permanent magnet synchronous Generators (PCOWTG) is presented in this paper. The algorithm estimates the optimal collective speed of turbines based on the estimated mechanical power of wind turbines without direct measurement of wind speed. In the proposed topology of the wind farm, direct-drive Wind Turbine Generators (WTG) is connected to variable low-frequency AC Collection Grids (ACCG) without the use of individual power converters. The ACCG is connected to a variable low-frequency offshore AC transmission grid using a step-up transformer. In order to achieve optimum wind power extraction, the collective speed of the WTGs is controlled by a single onshore Back to Back converter (B2B). The voltage control system of the B2B converter adjusts voltage by keeping a constant Volt/Hz ratio, ensuring constant magnetic flux of electromagnetic devices regardless of changing system frequency. With the use of PI pitch compensators, wind power extraction for each wind turbine is limited within rated WTG power limits. Lack of load damping in offshore wind parks can result in oscillatory instability of PCOWTG. In this paper, damping torque is increased using P pitch controllers at each WTG that work in parallel with PI pitch compensators.
