The method of multi-level quality assessment of interactive electronic technical manuals for aeronautical engineering contains the main approaches and instrumental base for the implementation of a multi-parametric assessment of the quality of electronic content of these manuals. The purpose of assessing the quality of interactive electronic technical manuals for aviation equipment is to obtain a consolidated conclusion on the degree of satisfaction of the need to create interactive electronic technical manuals in the conditions of unclear initial data used for the assessment received from experts. The article shows that the quality assessment of interactive electronic technical manuals for the operation and repair of aviation equipment can be made on the basis of nonnumeric or soft measurements due to the fuzzy nature of the initial qualimetric data. Assessment of the compositional importance of simpler quality indicators of interactive electronic technical manuals consisting of more complex using significance ranks determined by soft computing methods makes it possible to take into account any fragmentary and fuzzy expert data on the comparative weight of individual indicators included in the summary ones.

Intelligent product manuals are designed to allow product users to utilize a product as easily, effectively and with as little additional care as possible while minimizing support costs for manufacturers and suppliers. It is first shown how intelligent product manuals address these objectives by utilizing electronic, multimedia and knowledge-based technologies to provide active assistance to the user of the product during tasks such as installation, operation and maintenance. An architecture for the creation and deployment of an intelligent product manual is then proposed and general design considerations are outlined. Finally, four implementation approaches, based on XML, SGML, HTML and PDF technologies, are compared against a set of selection criteria. It is concluded that simple, low-cost solutions are available, which can provide significant benefits for appropriate businesses, including smaller companies.

In particular, technical manuals consume large amounts of storage space. The paper provides a case study of the development of a gas turbine technical manual into an interactive electronic (computerized) format. This paper presents some of the difficulties of the development process, enhancements that have been developed, software selection, graphics complexity, and hardware definition. In addition, a detailed description of a final product will be provided.

Quality management of interactive electronic technical manuals on the operation and repair of aviation equipment is considered as a sequential process of iterative procedures for evaluating and improving the quality of these information and software logistics support tools. The scientific novelty of the research is that the scientific and methodological concept of quality management of interactive electronic technical manuals for the operation and repair of aviation equipment through the application of a process approach to the life cycle of this type of technology makes it possible to develop a methodological apparatus for developing and improving interactive electronic means of supporting the maintenance of aviation equipment by systematization and rationalization of methods of increasing its effectiveness. The scientific and methodological concept of quality management of interactive electronic technical manuals on the operation and repair of aviation equipment is the logical basis for the development of a number of methodologies and practical recommendations for ensuring the quality of interactive electronic technical manuals of the appropriate class, rationalizing the technological process for their development and application, etc. The construct of the proposed scientific and methodological concept is a two-level representation of the quality of the interactive electronic technical manuals. Considering the connection between the capabilities of the software and technology platform for creating interactive electronic technical guides and content-representation capabilities for logistic support of operators, it seems rational to consider the quality of these software and information products at two levels of presentation: subject-logical and information-technology.

But the problem is that until now, how to market their products still using manuals such as brochures, posters, and orders that are still recorded manually with books, so that the store requires costs that are sometimes not small in number to print brochures which will later be used to convey information to customers manually. To overcome these problems, it is necessary to create a system at the Budi Luhur store that can make it easier for customers and shop owners to make transactions. The design of Budi Luhur's E-Commerce System uses a Software development methodology, namely the waterfall method. This method is used by researchers to develop Software systems by having a Software life flow sequentially starting from analysis, design, coding and testing. To design the system using E-CRM (Electronic Electronic Customer Relationship Management), CodeIgniter Framework, PHP programming language and MySQL database.

In the article, the authors consider mobile learning as a form of resource-based learning of university students in the study of professionally-oriented disciplines. The advantages of mobile learning are revealed: using the latest technology in training; using lightweight, compact, portable devices in training; delivering blended, resource-oriented learning; providing a quality support for training in any format; teaching students with special needs; reducing the costs of educational support; using the new ways of educational content developing; providing the continuous targeted support for the educational process; creating a fun, exciting and comfortable learning experience. The conditions necessary for organization of mobile education in the educational environment of a modern university are described: availability of mobile devices for students and teachers; access to developed electronic educational resources (electronic textbooks and manuals, educational websites, distance learning courses); organization of feedback between the teacher and the student. On the example of the discipline "Fundamentals of Leadership" at the University of Ukoopspilks "Poltava University of Economics and Trade" (PUET), Ukraine, the authors propose ways of organizing mobile learning for distance students. The developed distance course (via distance learning platform Moodle) and the electronic manual on "Fundamentals of Leadership" for mobile devices (program Dr.Explain) are offered. The opportunities and benefits of Dr.Explain program, which allows you to create e-learning manuals for mobile learning, are demonstrated. The article states that Dr.Explain is a convenient and effective tool / aid for developing a variety of electronic educational resources, ranging from electronic lectures and manuals to complete electronic courseware package and educational Internet resources. The authors emphasize that for mobile learning, it is necessary to create electronic teaching aids in the formats supported by mobile devices.

Result: This research gained an electronic medical record. The results showed that has certain excellence that more so than with manual medical .Medical can also record it becomes a tool the evidence in the investigation in a similar way manual medical record. One of the priority directions of modernization of the system of teaching staff training in Ukraine is the introduction of modern information and communication technologies into the educational process. This encourages research and pedagogical staff to use the learning tools that helps to present educational material in an interesting and accessible form. One of the tools is electronic learning quest-manual. The electronic educational quest-manual is called an electronic publication, which promotes the intensification of the learning process, the development of students’ creative thinking, formation of their skills to work in the information and communication environment, etc. The article describes the interface and structure of the electronic manual «Matrixes and operations on matrices», built with the use of gaming technologies, elements of educational material and hyperlinks visualization. The structural blocks of the quest-manual are subdivided into the blocks with theoretical material and assessment blocks.The quest manual is developed in accordance with the methods of teaching: consciousness and activity, visual impact, systematic method, method of consistency, scientific and method of accessibility. The content of this pedagogical software tool corresponds to the curriculum and work program for linear algebra for students of the specialty 014.04 Secondary education. Mathematics. It deals with the topic «Concepts and types of matrices», «Properties and operations on matrices». It is established that electronic quests-manuals should be used for students’ independent work and in practical classes. The introduction of this software in the learning process provides access to training for all categories of students, the ability to study at any pace, at any time, accelerate the memory of learning material, save time, etc. It is shown that the introduction of electronic manuals in the process of preparing future mathematics teachers contributes to raising the interest and students’ motivation for studying, developing their information culture and forming readiness for future pedagogical activity, individualization and intensification of the educational process. The article presents the students' feedback on the use of electronic learning tools, in particular quest-guides.

Modern construction machinery is usually advanced and intelligent with complicated structure and operating principle. Therefore its fault diagnosis and maintenance are very difficult. In order to promote the maintenance capability and supply detailed as well as easy-to-use technical information, we propose the method of developing Interactive Electronic Technique Manual (IETM) based on PDA. The framework of the technical manual and key implementation techniques are addressed. The technical manual is developed with Visual Studio .Net 2008, along with the XML-based data access method on PDA. The IETM system of a type of construction machinery is accomplished. The practical results show that it can overcome the inconveniences of paper manuals, and navigate users through extensive amounts of information quickly and easily. It greatly improves the maintenance and support capability of the Engineering Corps.

Policy and procedure manuals are essential to establishing standards of practice and ensuring quality of care to students and families. The Olathe District Schools (Kansas) Technology Department created the Virtual File Cabinet to provide online access to employee policies, school board policies, forms, and other documents. A task force of school nurses was formed to convert the nursing department’s policies, procedures, protocols, and forms from hard copy to electronic format and make them available on the district’s Virtual File Cabinet. Having the policy and procedure manuals in electronic format allows for quick access and ease in updating information, thereby guaranteeing the school nurses have access to the most current information. Cost savings were realized by reducing the amount of paper and staff time needed to copy, collate, and assemble materials.

In spite of the well-recognized need for complete, accurate, and timely information in the cockpit environment, no computerized information system has been successfully introduced to the commercial flight deck. We suggest that two factors — information integration and multiple search mechanisms — may be identified as necessary characteristics for a viable electronic information system for the cockpit. The use of an information system which incorporated information integration and multiple search mechanisms was examined during an evaluation of the system at a major US airline. During the controlled experiment segment of the evaluation, subjects performed two sets of similar information retrieval and performance calculation tasks using the system and using traditional paper manuals; response accuracy and task execution time served as the dependent variables. Results showed that for both information retrieval and performance calculations, task execution with the integrated information system was significantly faster and had fewer errors than did task execution using paper manuals. Possible reasons for improved performance are discussed.

As safety information and product manuals continue to move online, and as smartphone ownership and use approach market saturation, establishing clear, simple methods for linking users to online information becomes more important. This may be particularly helpful for technical products requiring online access for use or for globalized on-product labels that minimize text. This practice-oriented paper reports on one approach to provide access to information online via a combination of the standardized ISO “Refer to instruction manual/booklet” symbol, a URL, and a QR code. Findings support the understandability and usefulness of this approach. A version including a safety alert symbol within the QR was also tested and is not currently recommended due to potential confusion. Examples and practitioner takeaways are included.

The determining value of the logicality of the presentation, relevance and visibility of the presentation of the subject content to ensure the quality of the developed interactive electronic technical manuals for the operation and repair of aviation equipment objectively requires the development of a methodological tool for monitoring and managing its consumer properties. As such, the method of logical schemes of subject content for technical systems, which are built on the basis of synthesis of recognition features, can serve. These schemes are a network description of the multilevel decomposition of complex samples of aviation technical systems in a rational sequence of their inspection, verification and development. The proposed method of ensuring the quality of the IET develops a qualitatively new level of development of the subject material for the operation and repair of aviation equipment for interactive electronic manuals by supplementing the scientific and methodological apparatus of such development with tools for its generalization and structuring as logical diagrams of the sequence of inspections (work).The method of logical schemes of subject content to ensure the quality of interactive electronic technical guides being developed includes: a method for synthesizing logical diagrams of the subject content of operation and repair of aviation equipment, the basic sequence of the stages of developing electronic content on the basis of logical diagrams of subject content; practical recommendations on the software implementation of electronic content in interactive electronic technical guides.

This study discusses the implementation of different interactive assessment methods through information technologies. The problems and solutions of interactive methods of assessment of knowledge using subject textbooks which are currently in practice, by electronic textbooks and manuals are shown with the examples in the article. In this study, it is expedient to use the Eclipse Crossword software which is comfortable for all users. The result of the study shows that Interactive assessment programs serve as an effective means for the teachers’ limited time in the lesson in order to effectively organize, and e-learning manuals should be widely used.

This paper examined the perceptions of teachers regarding the use of Lesson Plan Manuals (LPMs) in the teaching of Language Arts at the Junior Secondary School level within Bo using data from an MA dissertation. Since the introduction of the Lesson Plan Manuals in 2016, a study to assess the impact of their use in schools has not been done. It is based on this that an assessment was carried out to seek the opinion of Language Arts teachers with regards the use of the Lesson Plan Manuals. It was also intended to investigate whether pupils’ performance in Language Arts has improved or not since the introduction of the Lesson Plan Manuals. The study adopted a qualitative study design and non-probabilistic sample design paradigms. A total of forty (40) Language Arts teachers at the Junior Secondary School level were purposefully selected to serve as respondents for this study. Twenty-five(25) respondents completed and returned the five-pointLikert scale that was used for data collection. Respondents were also interviewed in focused group discussions on some key issues that were not captured in the questionnaires. The results indicate that Lesson Plan Manuals in Language Arts are available in most schools. However, not all pupils have access to these manuals, which makes it difficulfor most of the learners to follow the steps and actively participate in the lessons. It was also revealed that with the use of the Lesson Plan Manuals, the performance of pupils has gradually improved, although some teachers need training in the use of these Lesson Plan Manuals.

The activity of the modern university library is connected, among other things, with the creation of strong links between different educational and scientific organizations. The goal of such cooperation is to improve the quality and accessibility of Russian higher education, including its digital forms. These problems are solved by a non-profit project of the electronic library system Lan, called Consortium of Network Electronic Libraries (Consortium NEL). It helps universities to optimize costs, increase the number of books and manuals for free. The project already involves 284 universities from Russia and the CIS countries (Kazakhstan, Belarus). Their publications form a book collection of 37 000 textbooks, manuals, workshops and lecture courses on the Lan’s platform. The article describes how the project was created, what is its current state and what are its opportunities. The experience of 284 Russian universities and universities of the CIS countries can be useful for libraries of all educational organizations.

The article presents the results of survey of teachers in Moscow schools to study a request of learning materials for formation of healthy lifestyle and prevention of health problems of students in educational process both in the classroom and in distance learning and their preferences in content of such tools. 270 teachers from 27 general education complexes of different administrative districts of Moscow took part in the survey (December 2020). The results of survey shows that today there is a shortage of educational materials on electronic resources aimed at forming student’s health and preventing its violations. There is a request from the teachers for development and creation of such tools and mainly multimedia materials.

For very practical reasons, technical publications and tactical information for military systems are now delivered with, or are being converted to, electronic format. While Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) have been available for quite some time, many research issues remain. Among these is the need to provide alternative search technologies that quickly and easily allow system users to navigate through large amounts of technical documentation to find required information. Further, natural language interfaces can provide users with a hands-free, voice-activated interface that may significantly improve a user's ability to perform their job. Finally, the use of intelligent diagnostics and tutoring can allow users access to expertise and learning opportunities. The objective of this panel is to provide an overview and discussion of issues related to the use of IETMs and current research related to IETMs for performance support and training.

This study evaluated the concept of using electronically delivered technical procedures to support maintenance operations in lieu of paper publications. The concept was tested on the basis of effectiveness, feasibility, and human factors issues. The Electronic Maintenance Publication System (EMPS) was tested on the PATRIOT system, an air defense missile system. No significant difference in maintenance time was found between EMPS or paper manuals. Errors committed while performing the tasks were negligible. Human factors issues were considered primarily to evaluate the concept of an electronic delivery and to guide refinement and future development of the system. Based on this study, it was concluded that an electronic delivery of maintenance information (as tested in EMPS) is an effective and feasible alternative to paper publications.

The article considers the concept of electronic educational manuals aimed at developing semantic reading. Modern reality offers the reader a huge amount of digital information. The difficulty, especially for schoolchildren, consists in logical comprehension and critical evaluation of the information received. These qualities directly depend on the skill of semantic reading. The author analyses content of the types of activities in electronic educational resources available of institution of additional education. Comparison of the content of the types of activities offered by electronic manuals and the recommendations of the scientific and pedagogical community on the development of semantic reading skills led to the conclusion that there are practically no types of activities aimed at the development of semantic reading in the electronic educational resources. The author carried out theoretical analysis of the properties of electronic resources that can become factors of its development. The article defines the property of interactivity as a reserve for the development of semantic reading. Interactivity is divided into “managing”, in which no new information is created, except for information about the management itself, and “complementary”, where the new information is created. The “complementary” interactivity is the reserve for the development of semantic reading. For experimental verification of this statement, there has been created the electronic educational resource — the workbook “Questions of the Computer”. The influence of this resource has been studied in the course of classes in additional education programs. The article confirms the assumption about the effectiveness of using the property of “complementary” interactivity for the development of semantic reading skills when working with electronic educational resources. The author gives recommendations on the creation of electronic educational resources and acquisition of media libraries of institutions of additional education, taking into account the need to develop students’ semantic reading skills.

Abstract Introduction American Society for Microbiology, Guidelines for Biosafety in Teaching Laboratories (2012) state that educators must use best practices to minimize risk of biohazard contamination to students. Integrating mobile digital devices into Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) programs’ clinical training is potentially one means of reducing this risk. Historically, student assignments and evaluations for clinical rotations were in paper format. The purpose of this pilot project was to ascertain attitudes from students and clinical educators on using mobile devices as a laboratory bench-side educational tool during clinical rotations. Methods In this prospective study, three senior-level MLS students used Apple iPads (Apple, Inc; Cupertino, CA) in concert with Google Drive (Google; Mountain View, CA) in lieu of paper manuals during Hematology and Transfusion Medicine clinical rotations at Virginia Commonwealth University Health in fall 2018. Two VCUH clinical educators from these laboratories also participated. All participants were trained on usage and access of electronic material on the iPads as well as proper cleaning of the devices. As a comparison, student participants used paper clinical manuals during their Chemistry and Microbiology rotations. In addition, the clinical educators used paper versions of clinical manuals during four of five student rotations that occurred in fall 2018. Prestudy surveys were used to assess attitudes toward mobile devices. Focus groups, for students and clinical educators, separately, were conducted after completion of the clinical rotations. Conclusions The results of the study indicate that advantages of employing mobile devices include improvement of safety by eliminating transfer of paper worksheets from laboratory to the outside, ability to electronically monitor students’ progress through clinical laboratory rotations, and ease of accessibility to electronic references at the bench-side. Moving forward, the study will expand to include additional disciplines and students as well as employment of styli and DocuSign (DocuSign, Inc.; San Francisco, CA).

System requirements in the automotive industry are constantly evolving and being improved. Currently, the entire supply chain, related to the automotive industry, is subject to the fourth amendment to the technical automotive standard - IATF 16949: 2016 Quality management systems - Detailed requirements for the use of ISO 9001: 2015 in serial production and production of spare parts in the automotive industry. In IATF standard, there are advices called reference manuals that provide important guidance on the quality system in this industry - one of them is the FMEA manual. The new guidelines in this regard, developed jointly by AIAG and VDA, entered into force in June 2019. Presentation of the most important changes introduced, as well as presentation of a practical example of the conducted analysis is the purpose of the article.

Traditional teaching aids lose their relevance in connection with the introduction of a competence approach, therefore, it is necessary to introduce such manuals that will allow students to retain their mobility and productivity without losing the quality of teaching. The relevance of the chosen topic is determined by the identification of the features of the development of qualitatively new electronic teaching aids in the university. The purpose of the research: identification of features of the development of an electronic textbook in the formation of professional competencies of students. For this purpose we have singled out the definition of the term “electronic publication”. The problems associated with the development and implementation of electronic textbooks have been identified. The principles of creating electronic materials have been singled out, which is part of the structure and composition of the electronic textbook, as well as the experiments carried out by us, demonstrating, firstly, the need to use information technology in education, and secondly the informativeness and effectiveness of the electronic textbook. One of the main recommendations for the creation of an electronic textbook is the need to provide the teacher with an adequate individual perception, understanding of the teaching material by students. It is necessary to timely eliminate errors, as well as update data: a glossary, practical tasks and text textbooks.

Within the framework of the article, an electronic tutorial was developed and programmatically implemented by the example of the Algorithm Theory discipline and studies were conducted on students' test results using the Statistica package.Today, in the process of learning, along with traditional print publications, e-textbooks are widely used, which are used both for distance education and for independent work. Previously, the emergence of electronic manuals was much more difficult to work with textbooks, as it took much longer. To test the students, it was necessary to pass the tests, test their knowledge manually, just as it was necessary to prepare to control the students. Therefore, there was a need to develop a program that allows you to study the lecture, watch the video and pass the test along with getting an assessment, also saving time.The purpose of this work is to develop an electronic textbook on the example of the discipline "Theory of Algorithms" and to conduct research on the results of testing students.The developed textbook on the theory of algorithms allows students to independently master the lecture material, perform laboratory work and control the level of their knowledge with the help of testing. Studies of the results of testing students were conducted depending on the test execution time and their correctness. With the help of the Statistica software, 60 students were tested for the test results. With this software, simple descriptive statistics were calculated.

<pre><strong><em>The aim of the research.</em></strong><em> To demonstrate the need for the use of innovative, conceptual hybrid learning complexes in the Ukrainian language in the media of Professor Oleksandra Serbenska in Ukrainian universities, which include printed educational manuals, workshops, reference books, dictionaries, lecture texts, and electronic teaching and learning tools that correspond to modern European requirements for the structure, content of educational and methodological literature of higher education institutions for the training of journalist students.</em></pre><pre><strong><em>Research methodology.</em></strong><em> An important component of the qualitative training of future journalists is to provide students with complexes of educational, methodical printed and electronic means that contribute to the intensification of learning, to improve its methods, forms, which contribute to the implementation of the idea of a «hybrid» comprehensive educational and methodological support of teaching Ukrainian language in mass media Honored Professor of Lviv Ivan Franko National University Olexandra Serbenska. Well-known all over Ukraine, many-circulation, four-times reedited printed and electronic, educational and methodical means of studying the Ukrainian language are analyzed.</em></pre><pre><strong><em>Results.</em></strong><em> Prof. Оlexandra Serbenska’s educational and methodological works are differentiated into two types: printed and electronic. Printed works are divided into the following types: manuals, workshops, reference books, guidelines, curricula; electronic teaching aids are also divided into: local (accessible in virtual studying environment), and remote, accessible on the Internet.</em></pre><pre><em>It is confirmed that the educational books authored, co-authored or made under the leadership of Professor Оlexandra Serbenska embody a competent approach to the study of the Ukrainian language in the media, take into account the specifics of professional journalistic activity, have examples of materials of modern mass media, contain practical direction to improve language skills by future journalists. Particular attention is paid to different stages of professional activity in accordance with the educational and qualification characteristics of competencies, increased attention to independent, creative work with an emphasis on providing a culture of language, broadcasting on the radio, television.</em></pre><pre><strong><em>Novelty.</em></strong><em> The complex, conceptual, innovative, «hybrid» character of the printed and electronic educational-methodical works of professor Оlexandra Serbenska is revealed, which meets the requirements of modern European standards of preparation of students of the university.</em></pre><pre><strong><em>Practical meaning</em></strong><em>.
