The purpose of the work is to economically substantiate the directions of organization of effective logistic activity of LLC Parallel - M, LTD. For analytical research and development of proposals in the work logical method, graphical method, methods of economic-mathematical modeling, method of logical generalization and comparative method are used. The paper proposes optimization of administrative costs and price conditions for fuel purchases, which will allow to obtain annual savings in logistics costs in the amount of 567535 hryvnias, which is 12.2% of net income of the company. Analytical studies allowed to elaborate recommendations on the feasibility of using the proposed measures at the enterprise Paralel-M, LTD. The object of the research is the logistic activity of the enterprise. Subject of research - a set of theoretical, methodological and practical approaches to the organization of efficient logistics activities of LLC "Parallel - M, LTD".

Повний текст джерелаДиссертационная работа посвящена разработке теоретических и практических положений управления логистическим потоком на газотранспортных предприятиях. На основе проведенного исследования разработана модель логистической стратегии деятельности газотранспортного предприятия, которое обеспечивает оптимальное использование газа на этапах снабжения, потребления и хранения в подземных газоубежищах при минимальных расходах. Для разработки эффективной логистической стратегии газотранспортного предприятия проведен анализ логистических функций в газотранспортной отрасли и разработаны принципы функционирования логистических систем В результате применения методических аспектов управления запасами в логистической системе разработана модель процесса закачивания и отбирания газа из ПСГ, практическая реализация которой позволяет обеспечить контроль за бесперебойностью снабжения газа, максимальным закачиванием газа в подземные газохранилеща с целью обеспечения рентабельной работы газотранспортной системы на полную мощность и минимальный риск предприятия. Рассмотрены оптимизационные модели управления запасами, на основе которых определенно направления и критерии эффективного функционирования логистической системы. Прогнозные оценки развития процесса управления логистическими потоками на газотранспортных предприятиях являются основой принятия управленческих решений при оперативном, тактическом и стратегическом планировании и занимают главную позицию в структуре заданий логистической стратегии. Поэтому, учитывая сезонное потребление газа, в работе использованы прогнозные адитивну и мультипликативные модели, модель Винтерса та модель на основе анализа Фур’е с учетом сезонной компоненты, которые позволили спрогнозировать величины отбирания объемов газа из ПСГ. Разработана модель логистической стратегии управления материальным потоком в газотранспортной системе, дает возможность обеспечить интегрированную взаимосвязь системы планирования внутренней потребности в газовых ресурсах, системы управления запасами товарных ресурсов, системы управления закупкой товарных ресурсов, информационной системы. Кроме того, такая модель предусматривает комплексный подход к управлению логистическим потоком, учитывает динамический баланс внутреннего потенциала предприятия и состояние экономических отношений в отрасли и дает возможность облегчить процесс определения целей предприятия, которое заключается в разработке качественных и количественных показателей, которые являются основными критериями оценки предложенного для их достижения логистического подхода. Внедрение предложенной модели логистической стратегии функционирования предприятия позволит оптимизировать выполнение управленческих функций на всех стадиях экономического процесса, связанных с основным видом деятельности предприятия, - комплексным управлением газовыми потоками, которое обеспечивает контроль за использованием газа на этапах снабжения, потребления и хранения в подземных газоубежищах.
The dissertation work is devoted to the development of theoretical and practical positions of management of a logistic stream on the gas-transport enterprises. On the basis of the conducted research the model of the logistic strategy of activity of the is developed gas-transport enterprise, which provides control after the use of gas on the stages of supply, consumption and storage in the underground gas-shelters at minimum charges. The analysis of the logistic functions is conducted in gas-transport industry and the principles of functioning of the logistic systems are developed for the development of fhe effective logistic strategy of the gas-transport enterprise. The optimization frames of the case supplies have been studied on the basis of which the directions and criteria of the effective functioning of the logistic system have been determined. The models of prognostication including the seasonal character of functioning of the enterprise are developed which allowed to prognosticate the quantity of the amount of gas extraction from the dug-outs of gas. The algorithm of choice of logistic strategy of gas-transport enterprise has been offered which foresees the determination of basic correlations between the results of management of its logistic streams and charges on their achievement supply.

Повний текст джерелаInom tillverkningsorganisationer är materialflödet en prioriterad del av försörjningskedjan att utvärdera, eftersom den ofta står för en betydande del av kostnaderna. Utvärderingen avser analys och optimering av materialflödet som uppstår vid tillverkning av produkter. Den kan fokusera på många olika nivåer, som materialflödet i en region eller inom ett företags interna processer. Materialflödet berör emellertid transporten, operationerna och materiallager. Ett välorganiserat materialflöde gör det möjligt för organisationer att sänka kostnaderna och öka konkurrenskraften, genom ökad inre- och yttre effektivitet av utföranden inom företaget. Scania verkar inom bilindustrin och strävar ständigt efter att förbättra sin försörjningskedja när det gäller produktivitet och lägre kostnader, för att möta marknadens behov och öka konkurrenskraften. Idag har Scanias motormontering i Södertälje verksamheter i två huvudbyggnader, med ca en kilometer mellan varandra. Den ena byggnaden är materiallagret, och den andra byggnaden är den faktiska monteringen. I framtiden kommer de två byggnaderna att bli integrerade. Följaktligen har projektlogistikavdelningen vid Scanias motormontering bedömt en möjlighet att organisera och förbättra deras materialflöden. Den kommande integrationen mellan de två byggnaderna gör det möjligt att undersöka hur de aktuella materialflödena kan bli effektivare, innan de appliceras i det framtida tillståndet. Syftet med denna forskning är att undersöka och förbättra ett materialflöde, boxflöde, i en monteringsmiljö. Ett boxflöde behandlar mindre komponenter som använder plastlådor som förpackningsmaterial. Målet är att klarlägga en effektivare process för flödet av boxar till monteringsbyggnaden. Effektivitet definieras som ett flöde som har kortare total ledtid, högre kapacitet, lägre tid / kostnad per box levererad och en bibehållen eller förbättrad ergonomi under manuella hanteringar. För att uppfylla syftet med forskningen har olika typer av intervjuer, observationer och datasamlingar använts, för att skapa en djupare förståelse över den nuvarande situationen hos Scanias motormontering. Genomförd benchmarking och litteraturforskning har använts för att förstå hur andra företag inom branschen, även andra avdelningar på Scania, hanterar sina boxflöden. Den insamlade empirin har använts i en analys där de olika flödena av boxar har jämförts både med den teoretiska referensramen samt varandra. Konklusionerna från analysen är presenterade som nyckelfaktorer för att öka effektiviteten vid hantering av boxföden. Dessa nyckelfaktorer ger en ökad teoretisk förståelse, när syftet är att skapa ett effektivare materialflöde i form av boxar, i en monteringsmiljö. I denna forskning används nyckelfaktorerna som riktlinjer för att skapa en effektivare process för flödet av boxar. Det vill säga, att implementera nyckelfaktorerna teoretiskt i ett praktiskt sammanhang. För att ta fram en effektivare process har ett Business Case realiserats, som presenterar hur samtliga processer inom boxflödet borde organiseras på fallföretaget. Det vill säga, hur olika materialhanteringsoperationer och utrustningar borde användas för att uppnå en ökad effektivitet som helhet. Hur boxflödet ska organiseras presenteras som rekommendationer. Dessa bidrar med insikter och riktlinjer för hur Scanias motormontering borde organiseras, gällande deras interna materialflöde. Tillsammans med resterande forskningsfrågor uppfyller rekommendationerna syftet med forskningen.

Повний текст джерелаAn efficient management of the natural gas business chain, based on pipeline transmission network and taking into consideration the interaction between the main players such as Shippers, Suppliers, Transmission Companies and Local Distribution Companies, requires the use of information technology and decision-making support systems. This work presents a Natural Gas Logistic Transportation Management System, composed of integrated modules or subsystems that allow maximizing natural gas commercialization and allow mitigating revenue losses and contractual penalties due to contingencies that may cause failures in gas delivery to Local Distribution Companies. The proposed system also allow evaluating the optimum economic level of availability to be maintained by the Transmission Company by using stand-by equipment to mitigate its risk exposures to revenue losses and contractual penalties from the agents of the natural gas chain. The proposed system is based on Monte Carlo simulation of equipment failures of the gas transmission network, on the supply/delivery unexpected shortfalls, unexpected block valves closing and failures on the city-gates in order to quantify their impact on the natural gas business chain. The proposed system is made of (i) a geographic information system - GIS, (ii) a pipeline data model (Arc Pipeline Data Model - APDM), (iii) a gas pipeline thermo-hydraulic simulation for steady and transient states - Pipeline Studio 3.0, (iv) a data base of thermohydraulic simulation results and (v) a Monte Carlo simulation model to evaluate the reliability of the transmission system by using @Risk 4.5 and (vi) an economic model with Monte Carlo simulation using @Risk 4.5 and (vii) an optimizer, based on linear programming, for gas commercialization maximization and minimization of revenue losses and contractual penalties for not delivering the gas volumes at the contracted level. This work has identified, quantified and proved feasible the installation of stand-by compressor units at the Bolivia-Brail Gas Pipeline compressor stations and therefore improved the transmission system availability. As a direct benefit has reduced the Transmission Company risk exposure to revenue losses and contractual penalties due to reduction of pipeline transmission capacity as consequence of compressor units scheduled and nonscheduled outages. Failures of pipeline block valves and city-gates have also been identified and quantified but redundancy improvements were not required.

Повний текст джерелаPLAS är en molnbaserad mjukvara som används för planering och schemaläggning av fordonsflottor för materialtransport. PLAS består av två komponenter; Logistic Flow Solver (LFS) and Material Transport Scheduler (MTS). Baserat på transportbehov genererar LFS ett antal logistikflöden. MTS omvandlar sedan logistikflödena till uppdrag som är tilldelade till fordonen. LFS är implementerad med blandad heltalsprogrammering. För närvarande är LFS och MTS frikopplade från varandra och det finns information som inte tas hänsyn till i LFS. Därför kan valet av logistikflöden genererade med den nuvarande formuleringen negativt påverka den slutliga transportplanen. Målet med detta examensarbete är att undersöka hur genereringen av logistikflöden kan förbättras. Två alternativa matematiska modeller utvecklades med MILP-formulering. Jämfört med den nuvarande modellen, tar de två nya modellerna hänsyn till mer information. Tre olika målfunktioner beaktades. Modellerna implementerades med Google OR-Tools, en öppen programvara för optimering. De matematiska formuleringarna utvärderades baserat på deras prestation på testproblem med olika kompositioner av fordonsflottor. Resultaten visar att problemegenskaper påverkar modellernas prestationer och att det inte finns någon modell som ger bäst resultat för varje problemtyp. Därför är det nödvändigt att analysera problemegenskaper för att kunna välja en lämplig modell för generering av logistikflöden.

Повний текст джерела[CA] En l'actualitat, un dels principals desafiaments als quals s'enfronten les grans àrees metropolitanes és la congestió provocada pel trànsit, que s'ha convertit en un problema important al qual s'enfronten les autoritats de cada ciutat. Per a abordar aquest problema és necessari implementar una solució eficient per a controlar el trànsit que genere beneficis per als ciutadans, com reduir els temps de viatge dels vehicles i, en conseqüència, el consum de combustible, el soroll, i la contaminació ambiental. De fet, en analitzar adequadament la demanda de trànsit, és possible predir les condicions futures del trànsit, i utilitzar aqueixa informació per a l'optimització de les rutes preses pels vehicles. Aquest enfocament pot ser especialment efectiu si s'aplica en el context dels vehicles autònoms, que tenen un comportament més predictible, i això permet als administradors de la ciutat mitigar els efectes de la congestió, com és la contaminació, en millorar el flux de trànsit de manera totalment centralitzada. La validació d'aquest enfocament generalment requereix l'ús de simulacions que haurien de ser el més realistes possible. No obstant això, aconseguir alts graus de realisme pot ser complex quan els patrons de trànsit reals, definits a través d'una matriu d'Origen/Destinació (O-D) per als vehicles en una ciutat, són desconeguts, com ocorre la majoria de les vegades. Per tant, la primera contribució d'aquesta tesi és desenvolupar una heurística iterativa per a millorar el modelatge de la congestió de trànsit; a partir dels mesuraments de bucle d'inducció reals fetes per l'Ajuntament de València (Espanya), vam poder generar una matriu O-D per a la simulació de trànsit que s'assembla a la distribució de trànsit real. Si fóra possible caracteritzar l'estat del trànsit predient les condicions futures del trànsit per a optimitzar la ruta dels vehicles automatitzats, i si es pogueren prendre aquestes mesures per a mitigar de manera preventiva els efectes de la congestió amb els seus problemes relacionats, es podria millorar el flux de trànsit en general. Per tant, la segona contribució d'aquesta tesi és desenvolupar una Equació de Predicció de Trànsit per a caracteritzar el comportament en els diferents carrers de la ciutat en termes de temps de viatge respecte al volum de trànsit, i aplicar una regressió logística a aqueixes dades per a predir les condicions futures del trànsit. La tercera i última contribució d'aquesta tesi apunta directament al nou paradigma de gestió de trànsit previst. Es tracta d'un servidor de rutes capaç de manejar tot el trànsit en una ciutat, i equilibrar els fluxos de trànsit tenint en compte les condicions de congestió del trànsit presents i futures. Per tant, realitzem un estudi de simulació amb dades reals de congestió de trànsit a la ciutat de València (Espanya), per a demostrar com es pot millorar el flux de trànsit en un dia típic mitjançant la solució proposada. Els resultats experimentals mostren que la nostra solució, combinada amb una actualització freqüent de les condicions del trànsit en el servidor de rutes, és capaç d'aconseguir millores substancials en termes de velocitat faig una mitjana i de temps de trajecte, tots dos indicadors d'un grau menor de congestió i d'una fluïdesa millor del trànsit.
[EN] Currently, one of the main challenges that large metropolitan areas have to face is traffic congestion, which has become an important problem faced by city authorities. To address this problem, it becomes necessary to implement an efficient solution to control traffic that generates benefits for citizens, such as reducing vehicle journey times and, consequently, use of fuel, noise and environmental pollution. In fact, by properly analyzing traffic demand, it becomes possible to predict future traffic conditions, and to use that information for the optimization of the routes taken by vehicles. Such an approach becomes especially effective if applied in the context of autonomous vehicles, which have a more predictable behavior, thus enabling city management entities to mitigate the effects of traffic congestion and pollution by improving the traffic flow in a city in a fully centralized manner. Validating this approach typically requires the use of simulations, which should be as realistic as possible. However, achieving high degrees of realism can be complex when the actual traffic patterns, defined through an Origin/Destination (O-D) matrix for the vehicles in a city, are unknown, as occurs most of the times. Thus, the first contribution of this thesis is to develop an iterative heuristic for improving traffic congestion modeling; starting from real induction loop measurements made available by the City Hall of Valencia, Spain, we were able to generate an O-D matrix for traffic simulation that resembles the real traffic distribution. If it were possible to characterize the state of traffic by predicting future traffic conditions for optimizing the route of automated vehicles, and if these measures could be taken to preventively mitigate the effects of congestion with its related problems, the overall traffic flow could be improved. Thereby, the second contribution of this thesis was to develop a Traffic Prediction Equation to characterize the different streets of a city in terms of travel time with respect to the vehicle load, and applying logistic regression to those data to predict future traffic conditions. The third and last contribution of this thesis towards our envisioned traffic management paradigm was a route server capable of handling all the traffic in a city, and balancing traffic flows by accounting for present and future traffic congestion conditions. Thus, we perform a simulation study using real data of traffic congestion in the city of Valencia, Spain, to demonstrate how the traffic flow in a typical day can be improved using our proposed solution. Experimental results show that our proposed solution, combined with frequent updating of traffic conditions on the route server, is able to achieve substantial improvements in terms of average travel speeds and travel times, both indicators of lower degrees of congestion and improved traffic fluidity.

Повний текст джерелаThis degree project has been made in cooperation with engineers working for GM Engineering/Saab Automobile AB in Trollhättan. The given name by Saab for the project is “Fuel efficiency improvements in All Wheel Drive(AWD)-system”. The main tasks of this thesis work were to investigate the size of the power losses in different parts on the propeller shaft, to design a computer program that calculates
coordinates and angles on a propeller shaft and to investigate the possibilities to put together a simplified formula that calculates the natural frequencies on a propeller shaft.
The main parts of this report are a compilation of the theory about AWD and mostly about the parts on the propeller shaft, and also a description of the developed computer program called Propeller Shaft Calculator. This report doesn’t concern power losses in the different joints because there were no such general equations to be found. The most common way to calculate the power losses inside a joint is to do tests were the power loss is measured at different angles, torque and speed and then use that data to put together an approximated equation.
Most of the work on this project has been on theory studies and on programming. The main result of the project is the program Propeller Shaft Calculator.
Propeller Shaft Calculator is a program that is designed in Microsoft Excel. All the menus are programmed in the visual basic editor in Excel. The program is supposed to be used as a help while designing new propeller shafts.
Propeller Shaft Calculator can calculate all the coordinates, lengths, angles and directions on a propeller shaft. It also calculates natural frequencies, plunge, estimated power loss on the second shaft and angles in the joints. In the program you can choose to do calculations on four different configurations of propeller shafts but can quite
easy upgrade the program with more choices.
Basically the program works like this:
First you choose the right propeller shaft in the main menu. Then you fill out the indata sheet with coordinates, lengths, material data and so on. As you type in the input data the output data will appear in the out-data sheet next to the in-data. Every propeller shaft has also a calculations sheet were more detailed calculations can be
found.
The program also has a built in help function and a warning function that lights a warning sign next to the values if they are outside the limits.

The knowledge required for the construction of solutions of problems of logistics management or the management of a supply chain , are interdisciplinary , involving different areas such as ; geography, computer science, mathematics, business administration, among others. Thus, the process of knowledge building by learners in logistics becomes a challenge because it requires different skills that the student first needs to understand the subjects of each area separately to be able to integrate them and begin construction of knowledge. Besides the factor of interdisciplinarity which becomes the learning process more complicate, recent advances in computing and algorithms to solve problems in logistics has caused a distancing of professionals from the available solutions and their practical implementation. In this sense, this dissertation will present the implementation of solutions to logistics problems through the construction of computational tools for didactic purposes developed through the Java programming language that will be added as plugin software to OpenJUMP.

Повний текст джерелаBackground: AA Logistics Sweden is having logistic efficiency problems, and at this point they do not have performance measurement in terms of KPI´s. Due to constant development and demand on their products, there have not been enough resources available to perform these measurements.
Purpose: Our purpose is, on the basis of service level and turnover speed, to measure efficiency in terms of KPI’s at AA. It is also to design record sheets that can assist AA to increase the efficiency over time.
Methodology: Interviews with managers and employees, in order to have a solid foundation for what to look for and analyse in the ERP system. The empirical material that was received was analysed on the basis of different theories.
Result, conclusions: We have developed values for each KPI and also suggested SMART goals that in the long run will contribute to increasing the logistic efficiency.

With the advancement of Internet technology and the popularity of Taiwan, the Internet shops and mobile phones have significant growth in recent years. Due to this reason, the logistics industry has also benefited from this situation. Today in Taiwan, almost everyone has a smart phone at least. Among almost all smart phone users will shop in e-shops, and the e-shops also provide door-to-door services. Convenience and efficiency in recent years cause the biggest reason to make e-shops grow rapidly. Because of this, the efficiency and accuracy of delivery of cargo logistics industry plays an important role. Among logistics industry, courier is also crucial. Among the delivery of goods, each courier must be carrying a PDA. And it has a little bit bulky and inconvenient. Due to the above reasons, the present study can expect delivery processes and service users, transplanted to the smart phone and use some techniques to achieve more efficient and reduce the cost of a system.

Повний текст джерелаPurpose All internal logistics systems contribute to the overall success of healthcare service delivery; laundry management (as a closed loop logistics system) is a critical system which facilitates patient recovery and rehabilitation. Studies indicate that applying efficiency measures/improvement tools in such systems, can deliver financial savings and strengthening of in-house competencies (Banerjea-Brodeur et al. 1998; Golden et al. 2008). This study focuses on the review and improvement of laundry management systems in a Thailand Hospital and the organizational culture underpinning this. This hospital was awarded the highest level of hospital accreditation (high level of quality and environmental compliance within this site). Despite this, problems existed at a very basic level with the laundry management, which can undermine patient dignity and respect and increase risk infection and health complications. This study contributes to the Thai healthcare agenda, a core mission of which is to “Develop efficient and equitable integrated health service system for both normal situation and emergency with emphasis on basic rights, specialized service and emergency medicine, surveillance system, disease prevention and control and health threats” (MOPH 2003). Research Approach The key research methods employed include literature review, in-depth interview, observation, documentation and content analysis. A mixed methods methodology was considered appropriate for this study for a number of reasons including a lack of previous insight into this system and the number of actors involved. To this end a triangulated view of the laundry management system was realized. Findings and Originality Delays in the provision of linen and patient clothing (1-4 days bottleneck) were adversely affected by unstructured laundry operations, insufficient personnel, poor job design and worn-out equipment. As a result of this analysis several solutions were steadily implemented which led to: (i) linen shortage was reduced by 12.12% - 28.48%, and (ii) the total cleaning time per cycle was reduced by 130 minutes (45.12%). The impact of the improvement practices in place were perceived to be undermined by cultural factors such as very high internal conflict, the new hospital Director with relatively low power, and limited budget allocated to purchasing linen. Research Impacts Very few studies have explored a closed-loop supply chain of hospital laundry management systems, fewer collected data from key users using a mixed methods methodology. Reverse Exchanges (RE), a new theoretical framework, was adopted to examine the laundry processes. This study attempts to this study fill these gaps. Although this research studied one district hospital; the practices can be greatly generalized; and the diagram of laundry operations and this research design can be replicated. Practical Impacts Improvement measures have been identified which directly impact on the effectiveness and efficiency of this operation. Whilst this is once case study site analysis, this can offer a positive contribution to the healthcare agenda within this country.

The AT-3 aircrafts were manufactured by Aerospace Industrial Development Corporation (AIDC) since 1984. The life-span of original design is 7500 hours or 15 years. Now the Air Force has used this type of aircraft for over 20 years. Although the flight time of each AT-3 is still within the design value, making it probably safe to use further. But due to the Air Force didn’t apply fleet management during the early days. So the recording data is limited to individual aircraft, and possible deviation may result in the process of life-span or overhaul assessments. According to the newest national defense program, the service time of AT-3 aircrafts must be prolonged by 15 years. But the safety problem becomes more and more serious and need to be solved. So the periodically structure analysis of each AT-3 and some useful methods to achieve fleet management will be the groundwork of the prolonging program. The present study applied the Integrated Logistic Support Analysis (ILSA) and fleet management methods to analyze the structures and functions of individual aircraft. And the Logistic Information Management System (LIMS) was used to perform the benefit assessment of ILSA, the reliability, maintainability, usability and supportability of the power plant and accessory parts, to insure the optimal life-span cost and well-arrangement of AT-3 aircrafts, and accomplish the mission requirements. On the other hand, the degree of satisfaction of the LIMS operation, statistical analysis, collection and decision-making support of the system information was investigated by poll test. The present results show that the reliability of the new configuration is increased significantly, especially for the TaiCon/radio/IFF part. And the maintainability or maintaining hours reduce obviously, especially for the hydraulic system. The total reliability is increased by 74.44%. But according to the poll test, the collection of system information is the most unsatisfied item. The analytic methods proposed in the present study can be applied to the assessments of AT-3 prolonging program and the promotion of LIMS. Furthermore, the management operations of other aircrafts are also suitable to use the same methods.

In the business of aviation, the real indicator to aviation operation is the availability of aircraft operation. The high availability of aircraft operation depends on the efficient logistics management. This thesis focuses on three management aspects of aircrafts on mission and aviation logistics, which are, dispatch, maintenance, and supplies. Further discussion will be provided to make a revised and more integral logistics management database according to the interdependence and relations of these three aspects. And after the setup of the unification between the database and the applied program, the aircraft logistic management information system can be built to anticipate the arrangement of dispatch, maintenance schedule and supply management. We expect that this system could provide a brand-new management concept in the area of aviation logistics, and achieve the goal of high availability on aviation missions.

This thesis discusses an infrastructure of integral logistics support system for avionics system in logistics support and management organization. The expectation focuses on the economic effect and cost control toward high availability of aircraft operation. To the most important factors in logistics management, this thesis proposes an integration of operation assignment, maintenance logistics and component support. A cross relationship among these three factors are studied to formulate an efficient database structure with decision-making procedures. The proposed system combines aviation application with mission assignment to establish a maintenance scheduling then generates logistics support requirements in all major steps. In database construction, this thesis considers aircraft overall availability to integrate databases from all subdivisions with their linkages and identities. The auxiliary application system follows the decision-making rule with three key factors, and arranges aircraft assignment plan for different phases. The aircraft maintenance schedules, manpower supports and material demands are generated accordingly.

Abstract The world is getting smaller and smaller as the globalization prevails and the information and communication technologies advance remarkably. It becomes clear that quick response approach is the basic requirement for enterprises to survive in this competitive market. Under such changing environments, the demands for a variety of electronic and information products grow rapidly. On the other hand, huge enterprises utilize lots of information tools to enhance their core competency. For the integrated circuit (IC) assembly and test industry, it is no exception that speed and efficiency are the two main key factors to develop the competitive ability. Also, the life cycle for most IC products is relative short. Therefore, the entire supply chain system within the IC assembly and test industry demands fast and efficiency information flows for their end customers so as to well control and monitor the production flow and goods delivery schedule. In this study, we focus on the manufacture logistics problems arising from IC assembly and test industry. There are at least two problems we desire to tackle. One is the mistakes or losses that are caused by operators during the wafer receiving process. The other is lower electronic process of material transactions in warehousing. The systems integration approach is applied to resolve these problems using the electronic commerce, automatic identification, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) to reengineer the process flow. In addition, based on the ERP database and application tools, the Oracle Application Implementation Methodology (AIM), we build up logistics models and strength the functions of ERP inventory management systems by customizing the graphical user interface (GUI) and reports. The developed systems integration approach is implemented in a local IC assemble and test company. Results from this study suggest that it can eliminate most of the manual operations and improve the correctness and accuracy for the database information, which in turn can benefit the performance of the ERP system.

Положения научной новинки этого исследования являются факторами, способствующими повышению конкурентоспособности на рынке транспортно-логистических услуг и расширением клиентской базы, в частности, за счет участия в тендерах, определяются влияние создания крупных транспортных и логистических комплексов на структуру затрат компаний в сфере малого бизнеса, разработана методология учета и формирования внутреннего отчета о финансовых результатах в специализированной программе транспортно-логистических компаний, что позволяет увеличить информативность отчетности для принятия управленческих решений.
