Method: To reach results for the analysis a positivistic approach and a deductive projection have been used. The research is based on a survey studying people in Hässleholm and Ängelholm. The collected data has been analyzed using crosstabs. Theoretical perspective: This study is based on previous research within the area that have been used to identify factors that can explain the aim of this research. Conclusion: The analysis resulted in a conclusion showing that when private clients choose their margin bank great offers and bonuschecks matters. It also showed that banks, based on this paper, should use differentiated marketing when segmenting their customers.

Повний текст джерелаThe recent financial crisis has emphasized the need for improved supervision of the actors on the financial market. One way to improve supervision is through better understanding of business models. The aim with this thesis is to find similarities in business models for Swedish credit institutions and for Swedish branches of foreign banks. More specific this study aims to find groups of companies, in this paper called clusters, with similar business models and identify existing business models in the banking market. The data used in this study are financial statements reported to the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority for the years 2000, 2005, 2010 and 2013. In order to compare the companies’ data, ratios from the income statements and balance sheets have been created. To reduce the amount of data and arrive at a smaller set of uncorrelated variables, principal component analysis was used. The method used for finding the clusters was a hierarchical agglomerative clustering method called Ward’s method. The number of clusters was determined using Calinski-Harabasz index. Bootstrapping was used in order to test cluster stability. This study shows that patterns in the Swedish banking sector exist and that it is possible to find clusters of companies with similar business models. Swedish branches of foreign banks have been treated separately from Swedish credit institutions. For Swedish credit institutions a division into six clusters was found to be most suitable and in order to describe the business model the clusters are named: Universal banks, Savings banks, Leasing companies, Non-deposit funded credit institutions, Service-focused credit institutions and Other credit institutions. The most stable clusters, that are the clusters with highest similarity, are Savings banks and Leasing companies. The cluster with lowest stability is Universal banks and it could be considered as a pattern in the data rather than a cluster. For Swedish branches of foreign banks, three clusters were found to be most suitable and the clusters are named: Banks, Service-focused credit institutions and Other credit institutions. These clusters are stable.

Повний текст джерелаThe transition to fee-based advisory is underway in Europe. The regulatory bodies consider this the preferred alternative in contrast to the commission-based agent approach. However, the same state of euphoria cannot be found among clients. Up until now, banking clients in Germany have been cautious, modest and reluctant. This prompts questions as to what could be the cause of such behaviour. Possible explanations can be found in a conjoint-analysis with client clustering. It can be shown that the behaviour of German clients in banking is divided. A small group of agile, well-informed individuals with high incomes prefers fee-based advisory services (6% of all clients). Meanwhile, the large majority of clients tend to prioritise the commission-based advisory service. Interestingly, this group is characterized by an astonishingly realistic picture of themselves. The clients consider themselves not properly informed, lacking experience, inflexible and not open for innovation. They seek salvation by granting unconditional trust to their banks. These clients cannot assess or judge if a new type of advisory method will offer any kind of advantage. If politics wants to promote the fee-based model it has to assure absolutely water-proof solutions, otherwise a resulting loss of confidence in case of misuse will be inevitable. Taking a more liberal approach, politics could leave several avenues open and instead sanction infringements of accredited trust

Повний текст джерелаA multiplicação dos episódios de crises bancárias desde a década de 80 estimularam o aparecimento de vários estudos, teóricos e empíricos, que procuram explicações para o fenómeno. O presente trabalho dá alguns contributos nesse sentido: em primeiro lugar, conjugando os ensinamentos das leituras das crises bancárias a partir dos modelos de equilíbrio com fundamentação microeconómica com a abordagem das crises centrada nas suas determinantes macroeconómicas e institucionais; em segundo lugar, trabalhando não só o sistema bancário no seu conjunto, mas tendo igualmente em consideração as diversas instituições que o compõem e a homogeneidade do tecido bancário; finalmente, trazendo para a análise o problema do contágio com uma perspectiva inovadora, ou seja, tomando-o não como mais uma determinante a levar em consideração, mas como um produto da interdependência dos sistemas bancários que não pode ser ignorada, sobretudo com a abertura, integração e liberalização dos sistemas financeiros. Os resultados empíricos obtidos parecem confirmar as conclusões, que já foram sendo retiradas em estudos anteriores, de que o enquadramento macroeconómico e institucional em que se move o sistema bancário é um factor determinante da sua estabilidade. Mas a mais valia conseguida no presente trabalho está, sobretudo, na relevância estatística obtida para os indicadores relativos às características microeconómicas das instituições, bem como para os efeitos do contágio, dando força à ideia de que o sistema bancário é um todo complexo, muito dependente do que se passa nos sistemas bancários que lhe estão próximos, e que só é saudável e estável se as instituições que o constituem também o forem.
The numerous cases of bank crisis that have taken place since the beginning of the 80's enhanced the appearance of various theoretical end empirical studies attempting to explain this phenomenon. This dissertation intends to contribute to the development of this subject: firstly, by combining the lessons on bank crisis derived from equilibrium models with microeconomic foundations, with the approach of crisis centered in its macroeconomics and institutional determinants; secondly, by exploring not only the bank system as a whole, but having also consideration the several institutions that constitute and compose the homogeneity of its texture; finnally, by analyzing the contagium problem within a new perspective, i.e. observing it not as one more element to be taken into account, but as a result of bank systems interdependency that should not be ignored, especially with the opening, integration and liberalization of financial systems. The empirical results that were obtained seem to confirm the thsis already revealed in previous studies that the microeconomic and institutional framework of bank systems is an essential factor for its stability. The main contribution of this dissertation, however, lies in the statistical significance obtained for the indicators concerning the instituions microeconomic characteristics as well as for the contagium effects, strengthening the idea that the bank system is a complex entity extremely dependent on its neighbours and on the health and stability of its institutions.

Повний текст джерелаDuring the autumn of 2007 I carried out an investigation within the bank and finance Sector. The aim of the investigation was to see how informal aspects could be understood in relation to equality within Bank AB? The main question was: Which are the obstacles and opportunities for equality within Bank AB? To answer the main question I asked the following questions to the material: Are there any gender related different within the organization? How are men and women represented within the internal magazine? Which are the conceptions related to sex/gender within the organization? The investigation is based on a survey, the internal magazine was investigated and finally interviews took place. Throughout the investigation I used organization theory in a gender perspective. With the gender organization theory I examined concepts as structures, leadership, symbolism and changes associated with equality. I also used an organization theory based on changing system/non changing system related to equality work. The analysis shows that obstacles related to equality are: masculinity is the norm and therefore is seen as the prototype, focus is on the imbalance between the sexes, direct and indirect discrimination do exist, a risk with internal recruitment are that positions may re-established and equality is placed on the management and staff department. The opportunities related to equality are: improve from management, quantitative aims can improve and contribute for the minority, equality model that has a management position and finally questioning of existing norms and values in the organization.
Hösten 2007 genomfördes denna jämställdhetsutredning inom bank- och finansbranschen.
Syftet med utredningen var att belysa hur informella aspekter inom Bank AB kunde förstås i relation till jämställdhet. Den konkreta och övergripande frågeställningen är: Vilka hinder och möjligheter framträder för jämställdhet i Bank AB:s organisation? För att besvara den övergripande frågan ställdes följande frågor till mitt material: Framträder det några skillnader inom organisationen som är relaterade till kön/genus? Hur framställs kvinnor och män i interntidningen? Vilka föreställningar finns om kön/genus i organisationen?
Utredningen utfördes via enkäter, därefter undersöktes personaltidningen och slutligen genomfördes intervjuer. Teoretisk utgångspunkt är organisationsteori med genusperspektiv uppdelat i begrepp som gäller strukturer, ledarskap, symbolism och förändring. Även teoretiska resonemang om systemförändrande/systembevarande jämställdhetsarbete applicerades på materialet. Resultaten visar på hinder för jämställdhet som: mannen ses som norm och blir därmed ”mallen” för dem som ingår i organisationen, för att uppnå jämställdhet fokuseras det på kvantitativ jämn fördelning av kvinnor och män, direkt och indirekt diskriminering förekommer, innehav av positioner riskerar att återskapas genom internrekrytering och slutligen att jämställdhet är förknippat och förflyttat till ledning och personalavdelning. Möjligheter för jämställdhet framträder som: jämställdhetssträvan är förankrat i ledningen, kvantitativa mål kan bidra till och underlätta för det underrepresenterade könet i relation till jämställdhet, förebild i chefsposition och ett ifrågasättande av rådande normer och värderingar kan medverka till en positiv förändringspotential för organisationen.

Fá-lo através da análise do sistema bancário português entre 2006 e 2008 Usamos várias medidas de competição para avaliar esta relação (Boone, HHI e Lerner), os nossos resultados indicam que a competição tem um efeito positivo na estabilidade de um banco, como tal suportam a hipótese de competição-estabilidade. O estudo confirma que utilizar uma única medida de competição para estudar este tópico não é suficiente para tirar conclusões assertivas sobre o papel da competição na estabilidade de um banco em Portugal. O estudo inclui análises de robustez tendo em conta o período de crise, o tamanho dos bancos, liquidez e capitalização.
This dissertation studies the impact of bank competition on their stability. It does so by analysing the Portuguese banking sector in the period between 2006 and 2018. We used several measures of competition to assess this relationship (Boone, HHI and Lerner), and, our results indicate that competition has a positive effect on bank's stability. Therefore, our results support the competition-stability hypothesis. In addition, using a unique measure of competition to address this issue is not enough to take assertive conclusions on the role of competition on bank stability in Portugal. Hence, this study accounts for the robustness of results taking into account the period of crisis, bank size, liquidity and capitalization.

Повний текст джерелаA independência dos bancos centrais é considerada tanto pela literatura como pelos decisores políticos como essencial para atingir estabilidade nos níveis de inflação estável e bem estar económico a longo prazo nas economias modernas. Geralmente, é uma teoria suportada pela ideia de que a independência dos bancos centrais permite atingir essa estabilidade sem prejudicar outras variáveis da economia. Até agora, e salvo raras exceções, os estudos feitos pela literatura sobre a relação da independência dos bancos centrais e as variáveis macroeconómicas têm negligenciado os retornos agregados dos mercados financeiros. Usando um conjunto de 21 países desenvolvidos, calculamos os respetivos retornos dos índices financeiros utilizando os índices MSCI, cotados em dólares americanos, e testamos se é possível encontrar algum impacto causado pelos vários níveis de independência dos bancos centrais. A nossa análise abrange um período de 20 anos e os resultados levam-nos a concluir que a hipótese de "free lunch" que acompanha os defensores da independência dos bancos centrais não é rejeitada quando estudamos o seu impacto nos retornos dos mercados financeiros.
Central bank independence is regarded by both literature and policymakers as essential for achieving stability in inflation and long term welfare in modern economies, and it is usually supported by the idea that it accomplishes such stability without harming other variables in the economy. Until very recently, the literature studies of its effect on several macroeconomic variables have neglected the analysis of stock market returns. Using a set of 21 developed countries, we calculate the respective yearly stock returns using the MSCI indices, quoted in US Dollars, and test if it is possible to trace an impact caused by the levels of independence of the countries' central banks. Our analysis spans for a period of 20 years and the results lead us to conclude that the free lunch hypothesis behind central bank independence cannot be rejected when its impact is studied on stock market returns.

Denna uppsats påvisar att en känsla av delaktighet är signifikativt för att kommunikation överhuvudtaget skall ske. Detta är något som de teorier vi undersökt förespråkar och överrensstämmer med den verklighet som presenteras i uppsatsen. Vidare har vi även upptäckt att de olika kontoren som besökts utvecklat egna arbetssätt och så kallade subkulturer, som medarbetarna känner sig bekväma att arbeta utifrån. Vi tror i detta sammanhang att en mer aktiv kunskapsspridning mellan kontoren är nödvändig, då verksamheten baseras på just kunskap.
The purpose of this thesis is to illustrate the subject areas of communication and organizational theories. And what is significant in the daily work within Länsförsäkringar Gävleborg regarding to our subject areas which have been chosen.
This thesis establishes that a sense of participation is significant and fundamental for communication. This is something that the theories we investigated advocates and correspond with the reality presented in the thesis. Furthermore we have also discovered that the agencys have devoloped their own ways of working and so called subcultures, which the co-workers are comfortable with. We believe that more active knowledge dispersion between the agencys is necessary and further more when the organization is based on knowledge.

Повний текст джерелаO objetivo deste estudo é analisar a relação entre a eficiência bancária e algumas das medidas regulatórias do Basileia III. É feita uma apresentação e discussão da eficácia das normas globais de liquidez e capital, recentemente impostas pelo Comité de Supervisão Bancária do Basileia (BCBS - Basel Committee on Banking Supervision). A nossa análise empírica baseia-se em duas metodologias distintas: (i) regressões lineares múltiplas; (ii) um método não paramétrico designado de Análise de Dados em Envelope (DEA - Data Envelopment Analysis). A eficiência no setor bancário é medida a partir de duas perspetivas diferentes - com base em simples rácios contabilísticos e, alternativamente, a partir do conceito de eficiência técnica que consiste na distância relativa a uma fronteira de eficiência padrão. Os nossos resultados apontam para a presença de efeitos da regulação do Basileia na eficiência bancária, embora estes efeitos não sejam consistentes durante os três anos em análise. Os resultados de ambas as metodologias sugerem impactos contraditórios na eficiência dos bancos europeus.
The purpose of this study is to analyse the relationship between bank efficiency and some Basel III regulatory measures. It presents and discusses the effectiveness of recent liquidity and capital global standards imposed by the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (BCBS). Our empirical analysis relies on two distinct methodologies: (i) multiple linear regressions; (ii) a non parametric method called Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). The efficiency in the banking sector is measured in two different perspectives - through simple accounting ratios and, alternatively, through the concept of technical efficiency which consists of the relative distance to a best-practice efficient frontier. Our findings point to the presence of effects of Basel regulation on bank efficiency, although these effects are not consistent throughout the three-year analysis. Evidence from both methodologies suggest a conflicting impact on the efficiency of European banks.

Purpose: The purpose of this research is to investigate the relationships between large commercial banks and their customers in Sweden. This will allow us to examine the changes that have occurred as a result of the digitalization of commercial banking. In addition, it will give an insight into how banks can adapt and be of value for today’s increasingly mobile customer. Research questions: How do commercial banks maintain relations with their increasingly mobile customers? How do banks try to make value for their mobile customers? Method:An inductive approach has been applied in this study, and through qualitative semi structured interviews data has been gathered. A hermeneutical approach has given rise to the study, since we want to understand and depict how banks maintain customer relations and create value for their customers. Conclusion: No matter how society is affected by digitalization, we found that it is very important for the banks to focus on the customer. The customer is a participant in the service and the central focus is the customer's satisfaction and convenience in the service. The customer's value is created by the bank contributing with security, trust, consideration, communication and development.

Purpose: This paper aims to describe how leaders in banking have been working to implement a successful organizational change. Method: The survey was conducted by a qualitative research method to create an understanding of the subject. Theories have been obtained primarily from scientific articles and literature books, the empirical section have been collected with the help from five interviews conducted at Sparbanken Rekarne in Eskilstuna. Conclusion: The conclusion that this study could prove is that leaders should convey the meaning and goal of the change, in order to create confidence in the people involved in the organizational change and gain their trust. Shared decision-making and idea generation can create greater understanding and help to reduce misunderstandings in organizational changes. To avoid resistance and create favorable conditions for the change progress it is important for the leaders to be sensitive, humble, flexible and involve employees in the change. Key factors for successful organizational changes are communication, creating a strong team, involvement and shared decision-making.

Повний текст джерела"Lester Bangs har aldrig varit i Tranås" är en kultursociologisk studie i syfte att testa hållbarheten i begreppet"kulturell navigation", samt att genom kvalitativ metod visa på skillnader och likheter i Svenska musikkritikers kulturella navigationsvägar. Genom intervjuer med sju musikkritiker, alla från svensk dagspress, strävar uppsatsen efter att visa på varje individs specifika kulturella navigation för att nå en offentlig tyckarposition. Ledordet för intervjuer och för arbetet i stort har varit "Hur?". Hur navigerar en individ genom kulturen för att skaffa sig det kapital som är gångbart på ett specifikt fält?
Begreppen kapital och fält är hämtade ur Pierre Bourdieus sociologiska teori och med analysstöd av dessa begrepp ger uppsatsen dessutom några ledtrådar till "Varför" musikkritikerna navigerat som de gjort. Här finns exempelvis intressanta skillnader mellan storstadstidningens skribenter och landsbygdstidningens skribenter. Det kulturella navigationsbegreppet diskuteras och etableras i uppsatsen till förmån för frågan "hur?". Uppsatsen lämnar därmed arbetet med att förfina och underbygga begreppet, så att det också kan börja förklara "varför", till eventuella fortsättningsarbeten.

Problem Statement
What should be done to improve the motivation of employees by the
management at the branches of Lammin Osuuspankki in Lahti?
Purpose of the Research
The purpose of the research is to study internal marketing at Lammin
Osuuspankki Lahti branches focusing on employee motivation. This research is designed for the management of Lammin Osuuspankki so that they can encourage the employees to work in an effective way. The authors will find the factors that are effecting the motivation of employees at the branches and need further improvement to increase the motivation of the employees. The research aim is to improve the employee motivation at the branches through our suggestions.
Methodology
For this research, the authors have used primary and secondary data to collect the information needed. The primary data was collected by qualitative and quantitative methods. The quantitative data was conducted by a survey, which was based on a theoretical model, the dynamic Triangle of motivation and the adapted job characteristic model. The qualitative primary data was gathered by two interviews. The secondary data was collected mainly from books, online databases and articles.
Conceptual Framework
The conceptual framework includes two models: The Dynamic triangle of
Motivation and the modified Job Characteristic Model. The dynamic Triangle of Motivation looks at the values and attitudes and the needs that influence motivation for employees at a learning organization. The Job characteristic Model is a framework for studying the impact of job characteristics on job satisfaction and job outcomes.
Conclusions
The conclusions revealed the different preferences and importance of the motivational factors to the employees at Hämeenkatu and Paavola bank branches. The authors concluded all the motivational factors that require improvement to increase the motivation of employees at Hämeenkatu and Paavola branches. In short, other than cultural harmony and communication between co‐workers inside social dimensions all the other factors required improvement to improve the motivation of the employees.

Повний текст джерелаThis paper aims to study the productivity of Brazilian banks from 2000 to 2014, analyzing the period before and after 2003, when began the introduction of institutional reforms affecting the banking sector, supporting the sustainability of credit growth in the economy and strengthening the structure of operations both to individuals as to legal entities. The study is introduced by estimating production functions and obtaining the total factor productivity (TFP) for 86 individual banks, implementing the methodology proposed by Levinsohn and Petrin (2003) and Ackerberg, Caves and Frazer (2015) to control problems of endogeneity and collinearity that arise due to the unobserved variable (productivity) and the choice of inputs. Banks were divided into three groups: (i) intensive in credit operations, using as criteria the ratio of credit operations/total assets greater than or equal to 50% in the period before the reforms; (ii) non-intensive in credit operations, bringing together banks with aforementioned ratio less than 10%, with the assumption that this group is not directly affected by the reforms; and (iii) the five largest banks in the Brazilian financial system in relation to total assets. The results show that (i) the aggregate productivity of banks fluctuated without a defined direction in the period before the reforms, but showed growth after the reforms; (ii) intensive banks in credit operations showed productivity gains of 7.0% (compound annual growth rate) after the reforms, totaling 110.7% from 2004 to 2014, which represents a much more significant growth than the 4.3% per year for non-intensive banks, totaling a gain of 58.9% after the reforms; and (iii) higher relocation of the product from less productive to more productive banks during the global financial crisis in 2008.

Starting from the idea that economic systems fall into complexity theory, where its many agents interact with each other without a central control and that these interactions are able to change the future behavior of the agents and the entire system, similar to a chaotic system we increase the model of Russo et al. (2014) to carry out three experiments focusing on the interaction between Banks and Firms in an artificial economy. The first experiment is relative to Relationship Banking where, according to the literature, the interaction over time between Banks and Firms are able to produce mutual benefits, mainly due to reduction of the information asymmetry between them. The following experiment is related to information heterogeneity in the credit market, where the larger the bank, the higher their visibility in the credit market, increasing the number of consult for new loans. Finally, the third experiment is about the effects on the credit market of the heterogeneity of prices that Firms faces in the goods market.
Partindo da ideia de que os sistemas econômicos se enquadram na teoria da complexidade, onde seus inúmeros agentes interagem entre si sem um controle central e que essas interações são capazes de alterar o comportamento futuro dos agentes e de todo o sistema, semelhante a um sistema caótico, incrementamos o modelo de Russo et al. (2014) para a realização de três experimentos com foco na interação entre bancos e empresas em uma economia artificial. O primeiro experimento diz respeito a Relationship Banking onde, segundo a literatura, a interação ao longo do tempo entre bancos e empresas é capaz de produzir benefícios mútuos, principalmente devido a redução da assimetria de informação entre eles. O experimento seguinte está relacionado a assimetria de informação no mercado de crédito, onde quanto maior o banco, maior sua visibilidade no mercado de crédito, elevando na mesma proporção as consultar para novos emprestimos. Por fim, o terceiro experimento é relativo aos efeitos no mercado de crédito da heterogeneidade de preços que as empresas se deparam no mercado de bens

Повний текст джерелаBakgrund: Framtidens bank måste arbeta mot att få mer lojala kunder då framtagandetav nya produkter och strävan efter ökad kostnadseffektivitet inte längre räcker.Eftersom banker endast kan uppnå lönsamhet först efter upprepade köp är det viktigt attkartlägga bakomliggande faktorers betydelse för den privata bankkonsumentens lojalitetsett till dess finansiella beteende och behov i olika åldrar.
Syfte: Uppsatsens syfte är att kartlägga hur den privata bankkundens lojalitet varierarvid olika åldersintervall samt hur bakomliggande faktorers betydelse för lojalitet skiljersig åt vid olika åldersintervall.
Avgränsningar: Vi har valt att avgränsa vår studie till en svensk miljö och den privatabankkonsumenten. Vi avser inte att undersöka bankernas arbete för att styrka lojalitetenhos konsumenten och vi vill heller inte utreda om det finns tidigare okända faktorer somkan kopplas till lojalitet inom bankbranschen.
Resultat: De bakomliggande faktorernas betydelse för lojalitet skiljer sig inte åt i olikaåldersintervall i den privata bankkonsumentens liv. Varje faktor påverkar docklojaliteten olika mycket beroende på vilket åldersintervall som den privatabankkonsumenten befinner sig i. Vid samtliga åldersintervall är klagomål den faktorsom har störst betydelse för den privata bankkonsumentens lojalitet, följt avkundnöjdhet, prisvärdhet, servicekvalitet och produktkvalitet. Vidare visar våra resultatatt bankernas klagomålshantering inte fungerar. Kvinnors lojalitet varierar inte i olikaåldersintervall. Däremot varierar mäns lojalitet i vissa åldersintervall. Dessutom ärkvinnor mer lojala än män i samtliga åldersintervall.

Повний текст джерелаBanksektorn har genomgått stora förändringar som en följd av den teknologiska utvecklingen. Framväxten av digitala tjänster har inom banksektorn lett till att kunderna kan sköta sina ärenden på egen hand. Som en naturlig följd har den fysiska kontakten mellan bank och kund reducerats. Syftet med studien är att öka förståelsen kring vilka aspekter som är betydelsefulla för bankerna att arbeta med för att upprätthålla en god kundrelation med hänsyn till den teknologiska utvecklingen inom banksektorn. En kvalitativ metod tillämpades i studien genom personliga intervjuer som genomfördes med kontorschefer från tre av Sveriges storbanker. Analys av insamlad empiri visar att bankerna anser att det är viktigt att kunderna får rätt hjälp vid rätt tidpunkt. Kunderna ska känna att det är enkelt och bekvämt att använda sig av digitala tjänster när de ska hantera sina ärenden. Banken måste arbeta med att förbättra de digitala tjänsterna för att ge förbättrad service till kunderna. Fokus på kundnöjdhet är viktigt då nöjda kunder på lång sikt kan leda till lönsamhet för banken. Att skapa långsiktiga relationer genom att fokusera på befintliga relationer bidrar till lägre kostnader för företaget som i sin tur leder till lönsamhet. Förtroendet utgör en viktig del för kundrelationen och påverkar kundernas vilja till att stanna kvar i banken. Det viktigt att banken är ärlig mot sina kunder och inte agerar utifrån egenintresse.

Повний текст джерелаEfter ett antal lagändringar har förutsättningarna för nyetablering på finansmarknaden blivigt allt enklare. Den tekniska utvecklingen har ytterligare förändrat förutsättningarna. I Sverige har de fyra storbankerna som består av Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken (SEB), Nordea, Föreningssparbanken (FSB) och Handelsbanker ca 80 % av marknadsandelarna. För de flesta hushållen är finansiella tjänster av vital betydelse och utgör i många fall en stor del av hushållets utgifter. Konkurrensverket menar att många hushåll skulle spara ett betydande belopp genom att aktivt välja bank. Trots detta är rörligheten på den finansiella marknaden väldigt låg. Varför byter inte bankkunderna bank när det tydligen finns stora skäl att göra det, och vad är det som får den lilla skara som faktiskt byter bank att göra det? Utfallet av undersökningen visar att de personer som väljer att inte röra sig aktivt på bankmarknaden, saknar ett djupare engagemang och intresse av banktjänster. De som byter bank har ett mer komplext bankanvändande och därmed ett djupare intresse av vad banken kan erbjuda dem.

Anteriormente as empresas centravam todas as suas prioridades na maximização dos lucros dos seus acionistas, mas a partir de 1960 essa ideia começou a associar-se a responsabilidade social e empresarial (RSE), que pode ser compreendida como uma estratégia para manter ou aumentar sua rentabilidade e potencializar o seu desenvolvimeto. O conceito de RSE é constantemente revisto tendo diversos significados e é aplicado em várias e diferentes situações. Podemos afirmar que para muitos o conceito de RSE está inserido nos seguintes contextos: relações de parceria entre clientes e fornecedores, excelência na fabricação de produtos e serviços, satisfação dos clientes, apoios para o desenvolvimento da comunidade, financiamento ou contribuições em pesquisa tecnológica, conservação do meio ambiente, integração dos funcionários nos resultados e nas decisões das empresas, respeito aos direitos dos cidadãos, combate contra discriminação dos gêneros, raças, idades e investimentos em segurança do trabalho e desenvolvimento profissional. Os bancos como empresas inseridas numa sociedade têm acompanhado a evolução desse conceito e contribuido para o desenvolvimento e bem-estar da sociedade em que se encontram. Estes preocupam-se cada vez mais em adotar práticas de RSE quer no seu ambiente interno, quer no externo. Para a divulgação de tais práticas uusam diferentes meios de comunicação como: Relatórios e Contas, Relatórios de Sustentabilidade e Websites. O interesse no desenvolvimento desta pesquisa é saber quais as práticas adotadas pelos bancos angolanos e portugueses, e se a sua dimensão influencia no grau de divulgação de informação relacionada a RSE.
Companies and society are inserted in the same environment, thus establishing a link between them which is based on a social contract that changes according to social changes and expectations of society. Previously companies focused all its priorities in maximizing profits for its shareholders, but from 1960 the idea began to be associated with social responsibility and corporate (CSR), which can be understood as a strategy to maintain or increase their profitability and enhance their development. The concept of CSR is constantly revised with many meanings and is applied in several different situations. We can say that for many the concept of CSR is inserted in the following contexts: partnership relations between customers and suppliers, manufacturing excellence of products and services, customer satisfaction, support for community development, financing or contributions in technological research, conservation the environment, integration of employees in the results and in business decisions, respect for the rights of citizens, fight against discrimination of genders, races, ages and investments in work safety and professional development. Banks and companies entered a society have followed the evolution of this concept and contributed to the development and well-being of the society in which they are. These are concerned increasingly adopting CSR practices both in their internal environment on either the external. For the dissemination of such practices use different media such as Annual Reports, Sustainability Reports and Websites. Interest in the development of this research is to know what the pratises adopted by Angolan and Portuguese banks, and its size influences the degree of dissemination of information related to CSR.

Повний текст джерелаIn contemporary vision of market-oriented companies, the consumer is the main element of a company. Simultaneously, the financial return of publicly traded companies is of fundamental importance, since investors stop applying its resources if the payoff is less than expected. Thus, the binary logic of increasing customer satisfaction and the parallel pursuit of share valuation and other financial rates of return are key premise for managers of large corporations. This study provides a discussion of the main similar points between these constructs. A quantitative study was conducted. It was also done an extensive literature review. The quantitative section was made through descriptive analysis and questionnaires were applied to customers of the institutions selected to measure satisfaction at the point with customers. There were also used secondary data to analyze the value of shares of the studied banks and ROE index. Data were collected from sites of the banks themselves and also at the Central Bank and BOVESPA sites. As the main results of this research, there can be said that are the main constructs that lead to satisfaction of university banking customers, named: speed and reliability. These results appear in all the four banks surveyed. Banks that had higher satisfaction rate among university banking customers of the survey sample were: Bradesco, Banco do Brasil , Santander and Itau-Unibanco, respectively. Finally, the survey identified that there is no relationship between banks with higher levels of satisfactions and profitability.

Повний текст джерелаThe purpose of this study is to describe how Swedish banks use rhetoric in their environmental disclosures to respond to external pressure. The study will give readers of environmental reports a better understanding of how Swedish banks use rhetoric in their sustainability reports to regain or retain legitimacy. The study is based on a qualitative research method. To study how the environmental disclosure in Swedish banks' sustainability reports changes from 2015 to 2017, a text analysis with rhetorical orientation has been carried out. The result obtained has been interpreted through legitimacy theory and previous research efforts.The various means of argumentation, ie ethos, logos and pathos, are used by the Swedish banks to respond to external pressure on the banks' indirect environmental impact. However, in response to external pressure, there is no uniform use of the different arguments of ethos, logos and pathos in the Swedish banks' environmental disclosure in sustainability reports. The rhetoric changes in different ways to respond to external pressure. Ethos argumentation is used by the majority of banks at less pressure to prevent legitimacy gaps from arising and logos argumentation is used at greater pressures from the media to close the legitimacy gap. The third means of argument, pathos, is used when the bank has not worked a lot with the indirect environmental impact. The study expands the knowledge in the study area by having studied the rhetoric in the sustainability reports of companies with indirect environmental impact, ie banks. For further research, it would have been advantageous to compare banks that invest sustainably with banks that do not invest sustainably and to study a longer time period.

Definition av ordval:
Pension: Vi kommer under denna uppsats att använda oss av ordet pension och menar då i många fall att hänvisa till pensionssparande i sn helhet, där den Allmänna pensionen, Tjänstepensionen samt individuellt pensionssparande s.
Aktör: Då kärnverksamheten hos företagen som medverkar i studien, skiljer sig något åt, har vi valt att enhetligt och härefter, använda ordet aktör. Verksamheterna som är representerade i denna studie berör storbanker, försäkringsbolag samt pensionsbolag. Detta ordval utesluter dock inte att vi specifik kan omnämna aktörerna med den branschtillhörighet som kärnverksamheten hänvisr till i syfte att förstärka vår presentation av skillnader i marknadsföringen av pension dem emellan.
Insats: Användandet av ordet syftar sig till att sammanställa de olika marknadsföringsinsatser som aktörerna gör gällande pension. Detta omfattar alltså de strategiska och operativa delarna som aktörerna genomför med målsättning att närma sig marknaden i båe sin helhet och mot specifika segment. Studien avgränsar sig till att ej redogöra för effektivitet eller vinstgenererande och ordet insats refererar därmed ej till mnetära mått eller volymer.

Syfte: Att kartlägga hur de utvalda aktörerna arbetar med marknadsföring av pension mot privatpersoner på den svenska marknaden. Vi vill dessutom göra en jämförelse av de utvalda aktörernas angreppsätt för att kunna se om det finns några strategiska och oerativa skillnader dem emellan. Genom att göra detta önskar vi få en djupare förståelse i hur pensionsmarknaden ser ut i dag samt hur verksamma aktörer arbeta för att närma sig marknaden.
Metod: En studie med kvalitativ ansats angående aktörer på den svenska pensionsmarknadens marknadsföringsinsatser. Vi har ett hermeneutiskt förhållningssätt och det empiriska materialet är inhämtat med hjälp av semistrukturerade intervjuer hs våra utvalda aktörer. Detta material har sedan analyserats samt diskuterats med hjälp av ett analytiskt ramverk.
Teoretiska perspektiv: Det analytiska ramverket utgår bland annat från teorier angående hög‐ och lågengagerande produkter, relationsmarknadsföring och Internet som marknadsplats.
Empiri: Den empiriska undersökningen består till en del av åtta stycken semistrukturerade intervjuer med storbanker, försäkringsbolag samt pensionsbolag. Den andra delen består av dessa aktörers marknadsföringskampanjer som bedrivs genom olika kanaler.
Slutsatser: Generellt framhäver aktörerna på pensionsmarknaden vikten av att konsumenterna i grunden är medveten om företagets varumärke oh deras värderingar. Därmed lägger samtliga aktörerna ner ett aktivt arbete med att nå ut till massmarknaden med varumärkesstärkande insatser. Samtidigt uppger aktörer att intresset för pension är väldigt lågt och att varumärkeskännedom därför behöver komplettera skild budskap.
Budskapen verkar genomgående vara att förmedla och skapa känslor hos mottagaren som i sin tur får mottagaren att agera. Ett antal aktörer försöker mildra fokusen på ordet pension genom att använda sig av budskap som både skapar uppmärksamhet och om är högaktuella idag.
Grundat på studier tycker vi oss se en skillnad mellan aktörernas angreppssätt beroende på kärnverksamhet och vi tror att dettakan bero på hur utvecklingen av marknaden ser ut idag då en del aktörer istället marknadsför större områden än pension specifik. Vår tolkning är dock att budskap som är riktade mer mot pension kan innebära fördelar och kampanjen ”Har du råd att leva på halva din lön?” är ett bra exempel på hur väl uppmärksammat det specifika pensionsbudskapet ändå kan bli.

Purpose: We aim to map out how our chosen companies; banks, insurance companies and pension companies market the product pension towards individuals at the Swedish market. Beside this, we wish to compare the way these companies work to see if there are any strategic differences in the process. By doing this, we wish to get a deeper understanding in the way the pension market works and how the companies work to get to the market.
Metodhology: A qualitative study about the marketefforts that is done by companies at the Swedish pension market. We have gathered the empirical material through eight semi‐structured interviews with our chosen companies. The empirical findings are later analysed on the basis of an analytical framework.
Theoretical Perspectives: The analytical framework is based, among others, on theories that discuss high‐ and low involvement products, relationship marketing and Internet as a marketplace.
Empirical Foundation: The empirical study is to the biggest part based on eight semi‐structured interviews with banks, insurance companies and pension companies. The other part consists of these companies marketing efforts through different channels.
Conclusions: All of the companies is doing an active work to strengthen the trademark with the aim to create an awareness among the clients The direct marketing according to pensions is sent out by segmented marketing where the target group is people that have been ctive in the labour market for some years. This target group comprises people that already have a capital of pension savings and the economical situation is more stable The companies state that this target group has a higher personal interest in pension savings, something that tend to grow when the consumers gets older.
To reach the target group the companies are using integrated marketing where more than one medium is used to be a complement toeach other to be able to deliver the right message and feelings. One medium that companies usually use is TV where feelings can be delivered, which is important to reach the awareness of the people.
The market of pensions is under big development since the reform in 1999, where companies increase their main activity with pensions, we can see some strategic differences among the studied companies. Our understanding of the map out according to marketing of pensions is that it got to be advantages in sending a specific messge about pensions, even though the market seems to be hard to reach with this message. “Can you afford to live on half of your wages?” is one example in how attracted the message can be when a majority in our surroundings and the interviewed company’s makes coments about this marketing effort. We like to add that we have got the understanding that the studied companies think of this effort as positive when it states t benefit all the companies at the market of pensions.
