- This paper is discussing the social innovation represented by the alternative food networks in Italy. With reference to the scientific debate, the analysis is foSummaries cussed on three main issues: the diversity of the networks, their common principles and the strategies of inter-connection among the different networks. These networks are based on the development of direct relationships between producers and consumers and on processes of food re-localisation. They counteract the dominant agro-food system by promoting quality products distributed through short chains. The emerging inter-connection between the various collective practices linked to the question of food production is interpreted as an alternative globalization. Initiatives promoted by peasant organizations of Latin American, African and Asian countries tend to be reinforced by the connection with the alternative practices of food producers and reflexive consumers of Western countries.Key words: social innovation; alternative food networks; peasant agriculture; short chains; critical consumers; inter-connection.

Dit artikel gaat over de management control van dochterondernemingen van Nederlandse moederondernemingen in Centraal Europa, in het bijzonder in Polen, Tsjechië, Slowakije en Hongarije. Het onderzoek verkent de invloed van multinationale strategieën en verschillen in nationale cultuur tussen Nederland en landen in Centraal Europa op de management control van deze dochterondernemingen. Enerzijds blijken eendimensionale stra tegieën een bepalende factor voor het management control patroon te zijn. Zo overheerst bij de globale strategie, die is gericht op het realiseren van wereldwijde efficiency, de persoonlijk -gecentraliseerde en formeel-bureaucratische sturing. Bij de meerlandenstrategie, die beoogt landspecifieke concurrentie voordelen te bereiken, is de resultaatsturing en sturing door middel van socialisatie dominant. De mogelijke invloeden van de landscultuur zijn bij deze eendimensionale strategieën afwezig of worden ‘weggedrukt’ door de effecten van de strategie. Anderzijds lijken meerdimensionale strategieën (in de zin van combinaties van twee multinationale strategieën) weinig bepalend te zijn voor het management controlpatroon. In die omstandigheden is wel enige invloed van dimensies van landscultuur merkbaar.

Abstrak. Dalam perekonomian Indonesia, kopi memiliki peranan penting baik sebagai sumber perolehan devisa maupun sebagai sumber penghidupan petani yang tersebar di seluruh Indonesia. Salah satu sentra produksi kopi nasional yang terkenal di Indonesia berada di Kabupaten Aceh Tengah yang terletak di Provinsi Aceh. Menghadapi persaingan usaha yang semakin ketat, perlu menerapkan strategi-strategi pengembangan yang dapat mendukung pengembangan industri tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada “Kampung Kupi Gayo”. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi faktor internal dan eksternal yang dihadapi usaha “Kampung Kupi Gayo” serta menentukan strategi pengembangan usaha tersebut dengan menggunakan analisis faktor strategis Internal/ IFAS, analisis faktor strategis eksternal/ EFAS, dan analisis SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, and Threat). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor strategis internal yang menjadi faktor kekuatan dan kelemahan usaha Kampung Kupi Gayo ada tujuh faktor. Adapun faktor yang menjadi kekuatan dominan usaha Kampung Kupi Gayo yaitu Lokasi usaha strategis, dan harga produk bersaing. Sedangkan yang menjadi kelemahan dominan usaha Kampung Kupi Gayo yaitu Jenis produk yang dihasilkan masih kurang. Faktor-Faktor Strategis Eksternal yang menjadi faktor peluang dan ancaman bagi usaha "Kampung Kupi Gayo" ada lima faktor. Adapun faktor yang menjadi peluang dominan usaha Kampung Kupi Gayo yaitu pangsa pasar kopi olahan masih sangat besar. Sedangkan yang menjadi ancaman dominan bagi usaha "Kampung Kupi Gayo" yaitu persaingan usaha sejenis. Strategi yang dapat digunakan Kampung Kupi Gayo yang diperoleh dari analisis SWOT adalah strategi agresif, yaitu strategi yang memungkinkan usaha ini untuk terus mengembangkan usahanya, meningkatkan pertumbuhan, melakukan ekspansi dan meraih kemajuan secara maksimal.Business Development Strategies Arabica Coffee Processing (Case Study: "Kampung Kupi Gayo", Aceh Tengah RegencyAbstract. In the Indonesian economy, coffee has an important role both as a source of foreign exchange gain and as a source of livelihood of farmers spread throughout Indonesia. One of the most famous national coffee production centers in Indonesia is located in Aceh Tengah district located in Aceh Province. In the face of increasingly fierce business competition, it is necessary to implement development strategies that can support the development of the industry. This research was conducted on "Kampung Kupi Gayo". The purpose of this study is to identify internal and external factors facing the "Kampung Kupi Gayo" business as well as to determine the business development strategy using Internal / IFAS strategic factor analysis, external strategic factor analysis / EFAS, and SWOT analysis (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity , and Threat). The result of the research shows that internal strategic factors which become the strength and weakness factor of "Kampung Kupi Gayo" are seven factors. The factors that become the dominant strength of "Kampung Kupi Gayo" business is the location of strategic business, and the price of competing products. While the dominant weakness business "Kampung Kupi Gayo" that type of product produced is still lacking. External Strategic Factors that become the opportunity and threat factors for the "Kampung Kupi Gayo" business are five factors. The factors that become the dominant opportunity of Kupi Gayo Village business is the market share of processed coffee is still very large. While the dominant threat to the "Kampung Kupi Gayo" business is a similar business competition. The strategy that can be used "Kampung Kupi Gayo" obtained from the SWOT analysis is an aggressive strategy, a strategy that allows this business to continue to expand its business, increase growth, expand and achieve maximum progress.

This paper is based on empirical observations analyzed by the dominant work and socio-economic strategies of the population of East Sarajevo. Determinants that influence the profiling of these strategies are work and socioeconomic strategies of families in which the respondents come from, their socioprofessional status and position in the labor market. The data shows that the most common strategy among respondents with formal employment and the strategy of substitution is in agriculture. Least prevalent strategy is entrepreneurial.

In implementing trade policy measures, governments usually select from a range of instruments including quotas, subsidies (explicit or implicit) and tariffs. In this paper we consider the potential gain of a government pursuing a two-part trade policy: an import license for entry, along with a per-unit tariff on imports. The model is a three-step game between home and foreign countries in the Cournot duopoly. The paper demonstrates that two-part trade policy is dominant.

The article is devoted to the dominant strategies of the discourse of state power. The relevance of the study is due to the interest of modern scientists in the anthropocentric scientific paradigm. The focus is on the individuals and their individual qualities associated with the phenomenon of domination. The work was carried out in line with the Implicit Pragminguistics. To carry out an objective pragmalinguistic analysis, as the research material the texts that have the largest possible number of similar features were selected, for example, text content (all analyzed texts are devoted to issues related to the problems of state power), year of the presentation (2018-2020), age (50-57), gender (five men and five women) and nationality (Russian-speaking) authors; and also the similarity of addressees (speeches of the addressees at the meetings of the national Parliament of Russia). The analysis is carried out according to two dominant strategies: “Participation / non-participation of communicants in a speech event” and “Certain / uncertain speech behavior of an author in a speech event”. To confirm the diagnosed personality traits, the references are made to the memoirs of the contemporaries of the representative of the state power whose texts of speeches were submitted for analysis, and we can say that the results are objective and find confirmation in the words of their acquaintances, friends and families, as well as in their biographies. The analysis shows that the majority of the representatives of the state power have a dominant type of behavior, a pronounced individuality and are talented leaders and organizers. You can also highlight such traits of their professional personalities as determination, independence, authoritarianism and focus on the listener. Almost all the representatives of the state power have a lot of confidence in their words, as this is the main trait of a good leader.

Migrasi dari desa ke kota biasanya didorong oleh tertinggalnya pertumbuhan desa dibandingkan dengan pertumbuhan kota. Di perkotaan, sektor informal menjadi salah satu alternatif dalam mencari lapangan kerja. Perubahan tempat tinggal dan tempat bekerja dari desa ke kota mengharuskan migran untuk menyesuaikan diri dengan lingkungan barunya untuk memperoleh kehidupan yang lebih baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh keragaman strategi adaptasi terhadap tingkat taraf hidup migran sektor informal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif didukung pendekatan kualitatif. Data kuantitatif diolah menggunakan uji regresi dengan pemilihan responden menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh antara keragaman strategi adaptasi sosial dan ekonomi terhadap tingkat taraf hidup migran. Strategi adaptasi sosial yang dominan diterapkan migran ialah mengikuti organisasi kedaerahan dan melakukan interaksi sesama pendatang, sedangkan strategi adaptasi ekonomi yang dominan diterapkan ialah memilih jenis barang dagangan yang sama dengan migran terdahulu, berinvestasi dan menghemat pengeluaran.Kata kunci: adaptasi ekonomi, adaptasi sosial, taraf hidup==========ABSTRACTThe migration from rural to urban areas is usually driven by lagging rural growth compared to urban growth. In urban areas, the informal sector is one alternative in finding employment. The change of residence and workplace from village to city requires migrants to adjust to their new environment to get a better life. This study aims to analyze the effect of the diversity of adaptation strategies on the standard of living of migrants in the informal sector. The method used in this research is a quantitative approach supported by a qualitative approach. Quantitative data is processed using a regression test with the selection of respondents using a purposive sampling technique. The results showed an influence between the diversity of social and economic adaptation strategies for migrant living standards. The dominant social adaptation strategy applied by migrants is to follow regional organizations and interact with fellow migrants, while the dominant economic adaptation strategy applied is to choose the same type of goods for sale as previous migrants, invest and save expenses.Keywords: economy adaptation, living standard, social adaptation

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh keragaman strategi adaptasi terhadap tingkat taraf hidup migran sektor informal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif didukung pendekatan kualitatif. Data kuantitatif diolah menggunakan uji regresi dengan pemilihan responden menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh antara keragaman strategi adaptasi sosial dan ekonomi terhadap tingkat taraf hidup migran. Tujuan penelitian mengidentifikasi perbedaan strategi kesantunan dalam tindak tutur menyuruh tamu pria dan wanita Batak Toba dalam kegiatan ulaon unjuk (upacara puncak pernikahan) adat Batak Toba di Tebing Tinggi. Desain penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Strategi kesantunan yang paling dominan dituturkan oleh tamu pria adalah strategi kesantunan langsung, tidak langsung yang direalisasikan dengan metafor, positif yang direalisasikan dengan berkelakar membuat lelucon dan negatif yang direalisasikan dengan kurangi kekuatan atau daya ancaman terhadap muka lawan tutur; sedangkan tamu wanita Batak Toba adalah kesantunan langsung. Strategi kesantunan yang digunakan oleh tamu pria Batak Toba dipengaruhi oleh faktor sikap tamu pria Batak Toba yang langsung dalam mengungkapkan suatu hal, tidak bertele-tela, faktor pengalaman yang lebih di dalam adat istiadat sehingga dapat berkelakar serta bermetafor, dan faktor kebudayaan yaitu patrialisme, kekuasaan berada ditangan pria batak Toba, hal ini yang melatar belakangi pria batak Toba menggunakan empat strategi kesantunan Brown dan Levinson (1987) sedangkan tamu wanita Batak Toba, faktor situasional melatarbelakangi sehingga tamu wanita lebih dominan menuturkan strategi kesantunan langsung dan faktor kebudayaan yaitu sikap dan peran yang sudah diwariskan kepada wanita batak Toba, sikap wanita Batak Toba yaitu ramah, lemah lembut, teliti serta mudah diterima dimasyarakat dan peran sebagai istri yang melayani suami, membesarkan dan mengajari anak-anak serta mengurus rumah tangga yang melatar belakangi tamu wanita batak Toba menggunakan empat strategi kesantunan Brown dan Levinson (1987). The purpose of the study was to identify differences in politeness strategies in order speech acts of male and female Batak Toba guests in the ulaon unjuk (the peak wedding ceremony) of the Batak Toba custom in Tebing Tinggi. The design of this research was descriptive qualitative. The most dominant politeness strategies spoken by male guests are direct politeness strategies, indirectly realized by metaphors, positive realized by making jokes, and negatives realized by reducing the strength or power of threat to the face of the opposing speaker, whereas female guests of the Toba Batak are direct politeness. The politeness strategy used by male guests of Batak Toba was influenced by factors in the attitude of male Batak Toba guests who are directly in expressing a matter, not rambling, more experience factors in customs so that they can joke and report, and cultural factors namely patrialism, in which the power in the hands of Toba Batak men, this was the background of Toba Batak men using four politeness strategies Brown and Levinson (1987) while female guests of Toba Batak, situational factors lie behind so that female guests are more dominant in telling direct politeness strategies and cultural factors namely attitudes and roles has been passed down to Toba Batak women, the attitude of Batak Toba women is friendly, gentle, conscientious and easily accepted in the community and the role as a wife who serves her husband, raising and teaching children and taking care of the household that is the background of Toba Batak women guests using four strategies Brown politeness and Levinson (1987).

This study aimed to investigate squat jump and countermovement jump kinetics in the knee dominant and hip dominant postures. Participants included 12 male sports science students. They were instructed to perform a squat jump and a countermovement jump with two squat postures: knee- and hip-dominant postures. The jumping motion and ground reaction force were recorded using a motion capture system and a force plate, respectively. A p-value of 0.05 was considered statistically significant. There was a significant interaction for the maximal knee joint extension torque, with the knee-countermovement jump being more than twice higher than that of other conditions, but not for mechanical work of the knee joint, which was significantly greater in the knee posture than in the hip posture. No significant interactions were found in mechanical work and maximal extension torque of the hip joint, both of which were significantly greater in the hip posture than in the knee posture, and in the countermovement jump than in the squat jump. This study showed that the effects of countermovement and posture were different for joints and that these effects were independent in the hip joint, but interacted in the knee joint. In the knee joint, the posture increased the effect of countermovement on extension torque, but the effect on mechanical work was small. This suggests that countermovement in the knee posture has little effect on the lifting work, but results in a great load on the knee extensors.

This article analyzes the Russian accounting functions outsourcing market based on the RAEX ranking data from 2010 to 2020. As a result of the application of the SV matrix, the dominant groups of the companies in this market were structured, its dynamics were identified, as well as the strategies of some companies in this industry in various sub-sectors were analyzed. According to the results of the analysis, there is a low level of concentration and a weak group of dominant companies in the accounting functions «outsourcing industry, in the «Accounting and tax accounting» sub-industry a large group of dominant companies is gradually being formed, in the «RAS reporting (Russian Accounting Standards)» sub-industry a «natural oligopoly» was identified with the group of companies controlling almost 90% of the market, and in the «IFRS reporting (International Financial Reporting Standards)» sub-sector, the dominant group controls more than 80% of the market, but at the same time, it is highly differentiated internally. The results of this analysis, as well as the proposed methodology for assessing the level of competition and dominance in various markets, can be used by companies to make various decisions regarding the strategic behavior both in the industry as a whole and in each of the sub-sectors.

Abstrak: Institutional repository (IR) berbasis eprints adalah repository Perpustakaan Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember Surabaya (ITS) yang diimplementasikan pada tahun 2016 menggantikan digilib (Digital Library). Parameter kualitas repository yang diukur dari posisi rangking yang dikeluarkan oleh rangking web of repositories mendorong dilakukannya penelitian ini. Dalam menentukan kinerja dan strategi pengembangan IR, analisis SWOT digunakan sebagai metode untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang dominan baik internal maupun eksternal. Responden pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh staf layanan bagian Teknologi Informasi dan Perpustakaan Digital (TIPD) Perpustakaan ITS berjumlah 6 orang yang terdiri dari, 1 koordinator , 1 sub koordinator, 1 teknisi, dan 3 administrator. Hasil penilaian responden terhadap faktor internal yang dominan pada IR diperoleh total skor bobot rating kekuatan sebesar 3.38, dan total skor bobot rating kelemahan sebesar 1.8. Sedangkan penilaian responden terhadap faktor eksternal yang dominan pada IR diperoleh total skor bobot rating peluang sebesar 3.15 dan total skor bobor rating ancaman sebesar 2.18. Dengan demikian posisi IR berada pada kuadran I, yang merupakan situasi yang sangat menguntungkan dimana IR memiliki peluang dan kekuatan sehingga dapat memanfaatkan peluang yang ada. Strategi yang tepat untuk diterapkan adalah strategi pertumbuhan (growth oriented strategy). Abstract : Institutional repository (IR) based on eprints is a repository library of Institute of Technology Sepuluh Nopember Surabaya (ITS) which was implemented in 2016 replacing Digilib (Digital Library). The quality repository parameters measured by the ranking position issued by the web of repositories rankings encourage this research. In determining IR performance and development strategies, SWOT analysis is used as a method to identify dominant factors both internally and externally. Respondents in this study were all service staff of the Digital Information and Library Technology (TIPD) section of the ITS Library totaling 6 people consisting of, 1 coordinator, 1 sub-coordinator, 1 technician, and 3 administrators. The results of respondents' assessment of the dominant internal factors in the IR obtained a total weight rating of 3.38, and a total score score of 1.8%. While the respondent's assessment of the dominant external factors in the IR was obtained by the total score of the opportunity rating of 3.15 and the total score of the threat rating of 2.18. Thus the position of the IR is in quadrant I, which is a very favorable situation where the IR has the opportunity and strength so that he can take advantage of the opportunities available. The right strategy to implement is a growth oriented strategy.

Abstract - The purpose of the study is to know The Strategy in Translating Non-Equivalent Word Levels in the Novel of “The Princess Diaries”, written by Meg Cabot. Sample of the research is taken from both English and Indonesian Novel version. The research methodology that is used Descriptive Qualitative Method and the technique of data analysis that is used is a descriptive-documentation method. The researches finding are: 1). There are some translation strategies dealing with problems of non-equivalent word level by Mona Baker are used in translating the novel; Translation by using a loan word or loan word plus explanation is used 61 times, translation by paraphrase using a related word is used 22 times, translation by paraphrase using unrelated word is used 25 times, translation by omission is used 7 times, and translation by cultural substitution is used 13 times. 2). There is the dominant type in translating the novel of The Princess Diaries, and The loan word or loan word plus explanations is the dominant type in translating the novel. It has the highest data about 47, 66%. These strategies are also used in to make the result of translation not only enjoyable but also meaningful for the readers. Abstrak - Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui strategi penerjemahan pada tingkatan kata yang tidak ada padanannya dalam novel “The Princess Diaries” karya Meg Cabot. Sample yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sebuah novel dengan menggunakan kedua versi baik Indonesia maupun Inggris. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dan menggunakan teknik dokumentasi deskriptif. Terdapat dua hal dalam penelitian ini, yaitu: 1. Terdapatnya lima strategi penerjemahan pada tingkatan kata yg tidak ada padanannya dalam novel “The Princess Diaries” dengan merujuk kepada teori Mona Baker; Strategi dengan menggunakan kata pinjaman, Strategi dengan menggunakan prasa yang berhubungan, Strategi dengan menggunakan prasa yang tidak berhubungan, Strategi yang menggunakan penghilangan kata, dan Startegi yang menggunakan subtitusi budaya. 2. Terdapatnya strategi yang paling dominan digunakan oleh pengarang dalam novel “The Princess Diaries” yakni strategi menggunakan kata pinjaman, terdapat 61 data atau sebanyak 47,66 % berupa kata maupun prasa. Diharapkan startegi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini mampu menghasilkan penerjemahan yang bermakna dan mudah dipahami pembaca.

The paper aims to form theoretical bases of business structures innovative potential development to improve their dynamic characteristics and increase the ability to implement competitive business strategies. Innovations theory, competitive advantages resource theory, concepts of strategic management, network structures and marketing relationship have been chosen as the research theoretical basis. Based on the machine-building products dynamic and export structure analysis and the Ukraine industrial enterprises innovative activity results, the assumption that their innovative potential do not correspond to the competitive strategies objectives has been suggested. It has been substantiated that the innovative potential development management should be considered in terms of improving the enterprises adaptive and proactive flexibility and that is provided by the marketing function. Based on the above the model of enterprise competitive business strategy selection considering the possibility of building up innovative capacities through the strategic partnerships development has been designed. The motivational environment impact on the partnerships value has been formalized and the task of marketing relationship in this process have been identified. The research results can be useful for the dynamic characteristics and economic systems competitiveness development.

The article presents the results of the ascertaining stage of the study of coping behaviour in students of medical college. The author carried out a theoretical analysis of generic concepts of sanogenic coping, such as sanogenic reflection, sanogenic thinking, coping strategies and coping behaviour. It has been investigated that the most frequent events that cause stress in medical college students are: the death of a close family member, changes in the financial situation, intersex relationships, starting college (for male respondents) and illnesses, changes in social activity, change of a place of residence, conflicts in a collective (dormitory), death of a family member or friend, change of a place of residence and study (for female respondents). The level of stress resistance was experimentally studied and coping strategies were chosen by students to overcome the current stressors. It has been found out that the threshold level of resistance to stress prevails in most students. Thus, students are forced to make a lot of effort and spend their own internal resources to fight against negative mental states that appear in the process of coping with stress. It was identified that there is a significant share of medical college students with low stress resistance – 25% of male respondents and 22% of female respondents, and quite a few individuals showed a high level of stress resistance – only 12% of male respondents and 12% of female respondents. It was found that problem-oriented coping and the search for social support are dominant among medical college students’ coping strategies; other types of strategies such as emotion-oriented coping, avoidance, and distraction are used somewhat less often by young people. It is emphasized that adaptive coping strategies contribute to effective coping with stressful situations. Based on the research, it was found that in most cases, the coping strategies chosen by the students led to an even greater increase in stress. Consequently, the problem of formation and development of productive copingstrategies among students of future medical workers remains relevant. The prospect of further research is the development of practical recommendations for effective coping with stressful and crisis situations in the activities of future medics.

Service-dominant (S-D) logic can function as a strategic business logic that portrays creating superior value in conjunction with—rather than for—customers as a source of competitive advantage for organizations. From this perspective, strategy is about making choices in terms of how to best facilitate and enhance value cocreation for mutual and long-term betterment. While the literature has pointed out the managerial merits of cocreating value, less is known about the organizational capabilities necessary to execute S-D logic in practice. This article devises an S-D orientation, specified as a portfolio of six strategic capabilities, namely individuated, relational, ethical, empowered, developmental, and concerted interaction capability. In combination, these six strategic capabilities constitute a cocreation capability. The authors develop the conceptual model of S-D orientation through (a) an in-depth literature review and (b) input from 21 expert academics. Conceptualizing S-D orientation provides a foundation for bridging S-D logic and strategy research with a more general framework, and for guiding much-needed empirical research that will inform managers. From a managerial point of view, S-D orientation provides a holistic approach to align the organization with its value network partners. The article also sets out an agenda for future research.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to segment and profile socially responsible investment (SRI) funds based on investment strategies they use. Specifically, the paper investigates how different SRI strategies are applied and how they are related to fund-level characteristics, with the goal of recognising their potential dominant combinations in SRI practice. Design/methodology/approach Cluster analysis was complemented with one-way ANOVA to classify 147 SRI funds from 11 European countries into different groups based on the diversification (number and type) and application (intensity of usage) of the investment strategies. Discriminant analysis and chi-square tests were conducted to profile the clusters. Financial performance was examined by running multiple hierarchical regression and dominance analyses to determine meaningfulness of particular investment strategies within each of the SRI fund clusters. Findings Three basic SRI fund clusters were recognised: strong-intensity strategic heterogeneity, weak-intensity strategic heterogeneity and weak-intensity strategic homogeneity. The combination of SRI strategies used in the weak-intensity strategic homogeneity cluster significantly explained the variance in mid-term financial returns. Practical implications Fund managers may use these results to make more informed investment decisions on the selection and the application of SRI strategies. Social implications Financial industry has significant and broad and not only economic but also social implications. This research effort results in better understanding of the SRI universe, potentially leading to a broader consideration of the societal impact of financial investment. Originality/value The author provided useful insights into existing bundles of SRI strategies used in the European SRI market, recognised dominant investment strategies within SRI strategy portfolios and reported how strategic variety is related to fund-level characteristics.

Decision making under uncertainty is a key component of many AI settings, and in particular of voting scenarios where strategic agents are trying to reach a joint decision. The common approach to handle uncertainty is by maximizing expected utility, which requires a cardinal utility function as well as detailed probabilistic information. However, often such probabilities are not easy to estimate or apply.To this end, we present a framework that allows for “shades of gray” of likelihood without probabilities. Specifically, we create a hierarchy of sets of world states based on a prospective poll, with inner sets contain more likely outcomes. This hierarchy of likelihoods allows us to define what we term ordinally-dominated strategies. We use this approach to justify various known voting heuristics as bounded-rational strategies.

Abstrak Penelitian ini menggambarkan pemaknaan strategi pesan iklan yang digunakaan oleh calon gubenur dan wakil gubenur DKI Hidayat Nur Wahid-Didik J Rachbini pada pilkada DKI 2012. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori encoding-decoding dari Struat Hall. Hasil pemaknaan yang dilakukan oleh khalayak menghasilkan tiga posisi hipotesis decoding yang berbeda yaitu dominant hegemonic position, negotiated position dan oppositional code. Temuan penelitian menghasilkan bahwa strategi perencanaan pesan iklan yang sudah matang belum tentu pesan yang disampaikan sesuai dengan harapan. Hal ini diakibatkan oleh perbedaan latar belakang khalayak. Khalayak yang tidak aktif dalam sebuah organisasi dan bukan bagian dari sebuah partai politik cenderung berada pada posisi pemaknaan oppositional code. Namun khalayak yang mempunya latar belakang organisasi dan bagian dari sebuah partai maka berada pada posisi dominant hegemonic dan negotiated code. Pemaknaan dari iklan ini di dominasi oleh posisi dominan hegemonic ketika khalayak iklan ini menilai tokoh dalam iklan ini, namun ketika iklan dinilai secara menyeluruh maka posisi oppositional code yang lebih dominan, dimana khalayak berpendapat bahwa pesan iklan PKS tersebut belum menunjukan keterbukaan PKS sebagai sebuah partai Kata Kunci : Pesan Iklan dan Strategi Perencanaan Iklan

Nelayan tradisional dicirikan dengan kualitas sumber daya manusia, keterampilan dan produktivititas yang rendah. Nelayan tradisional di Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai juga memiliki karakteristik aset dan teknologi alat tangkap terbatas, turut menyebabkan rendahnya produksi yang berdampak pada rendahnya pendapatan nelayan. Rendahnya pendapatan dan tidak adanya strategi peningkatan pendapatan nelayan menjadi permasalahan dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui tingkat pendapatan nelayan tradisional dan merumuskan strategi peningkatan pendapatannya. Penelitian dilakukan di Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai pada bulan September - Desember 2020. Penelitian ini menggunaan data primer dan sekunder, yang dianalisis dengan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif yaitu analisis pendapatan dan analisis SWOT. Berdasarkan penelitian disimpulkan: a) Pendapatan nelayan tradisional pada musim ikan rata-rata Rp65.398,00/hari atau Rp980.971,00/bulan. Berdasarkan penelitian direkomendasikan agar; a) Pemerintah memfasilitasi nelayan untuk membentuk kelompok untuk peningkatan kapasitas dan keterampilannya, b) Pemerintah memberikan dukungan dana untuk pengadaan sarana prasarana penangkapan ikan, c) Pemerintah rutin melakukan penyuluhan, pelatihan kepada nelayan untuk melakukan pengolahan ikan untuk meningkatkan nilai tambahnya serta cara melestarikan sumber daya laut dan pesisir yang berkelanjutan.Title: Analysis and Strategies to Increase Income of Traditional Fishers in Coastal Areas at District of Serdang Bedagai, North SumateraTraditional fishers are characterized by low of quality of human resources, lack of skills and low productivity. Traditional fishers in Serdang Bedagai are depicted as limited assets, technology and fishing gear, contributed to low production which impacted to low income of fishers. This study aims to determine the level of income and formulate strategies to increase fishers’s income. This study was conducted in September-December 2020, using primary and secondary data. Data were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative approaches with income analysis and SWOT analysis. The results conclude that average income of traditional fishers in fishing season is IDR65,398/day or IDR 980,971/month. The average income during the famine season is IDR13,675/day or IDR205,121/month. Furthermore, dominant factor of fishers strength is having experience in fishing groups. Dominant factor of opportunity is a high demand for fish. Some priority actions as aggressive strategies to increase income of fishers are needed such as forming groups of fishers and utilizing modern fishing gears, training and counseling for fishers, using information technology, and developing cooperation and network. Therefore, this paper suggests some recommendations: a) Governments need to facilitate fishers to form groups to increase their capacity and skills, b) Governments shall provide financial support to establish facilitates and infrastructure of fisheries activities, c) Governments should conduct assistance, guidance and training for fishers to implement fish processing to add values, and to sustain coastal resources.

We investigated the relationship between social interactions, brain serotonergic activity, and two behavioural patterns in juvenile Arctic char (Salvelinus alpinus): feeding and spontaneous swimming activity. Dominant and subordinate individuals were observed during rearing in pairs, followed by rearing in isolation. Throughout the experiment, levels of both food intake and swimming activity remained high in dominant fish. When they were in pairs, food intake was completely inhibited in subordinate fish; thus, dominant fish were able to monopolise food. At the same time, brain serotonergic activity, as indexed by the ratio of 5-hydroxyindoleacetic acid (5-HIAA) to serotonin (5-hydroxytryptamine, 5-HT) was elevated in the hypothalamus and brain stem of subordinate fish compared with dominants. During subsequent rearing in isolation, food intake, but not spontaneous locomotor activity, gradually increased in previously subordinate fish, while serotonergic activity fell to near that of dominants. Thus, appetite inhibition in subordinate fish can be reversed by rearing in isolation, an effect that may be related to the reversal of a stress-induced activation of brain serotonergic neurones accompanying social subordination. Reduced swimming activity is either a long-lasting response to social subordination or reflects permanently different behavioural strategies of subordinate and dominant individuals.

To support successful interaction in dialog it is necessary to realize both informative and social functions that are to convey the information and to maintain good relations between interlocutors. The functions work in different dialogs not always in harmony. The article is devoted to polemical dialogues, the target of which may not take into account social function and even lead to conflicts. Particular attention is paid to three polemical tactics realized with the help of communicatives - stereotypical speech formulas of dialogue.

The disruptive era is demanding strategic leadership which able to answer the needs of the church grows in the future. Leadership in Pentecostal churches that tend to prepare their family in succession has no guarantee of the needs and success of the next leader in the disruptive era. This research is proposed to examine the most dominant influence factor of leadership succession of Pentecostal churches. This research is using a quantitative approach with a survey method. The result showing that to have a succession planning in prepare new leaders for the church is the most dominant influence factor of leadership succession of Pentecostal churches in a disruptive era. To prepare a new leader through the right and contextual leadership succession is the key to future leadership success. Abstrak Di era disruptif menuntut kepemimpinan yang strategis dan mampu menjawab kebutuhan untuk perkembangan gereja di masa yang akan datang. Kepemimpinan pada gereja-gereja aliran Pentakosta yang cenderung mempersiapkan anggota keluarga dalam regenerasi tidak memberikan jaminan sepenuhnya dapat menjawab kebutuhan dan bagi kesuksesan kepemimpinan selanjutnya pada era disruptif. Penelitian ini mengkaji faktor yang paling dominan mempengaruhi suksesi kepemimpinan gereja-gereja aliran Pentakosta. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa memiliki perencanaan dalam menyiapkan pemimpin baru bagi gereja menjadi faktor yang paling dominan mempengaruhi suksesi kepemimpinan di era disruptif gereja-gereja aliran Pentakosta. Mempersiapkan pemimpin baru melalui perencanaan yang baik dan yang tepat serta kontekstual menjadi kunci sukses kepemimpinan pada masa yang akan datang.
