Socioteknikken har siden 1950'erne dannet rammen om en reformbevægelse med henblik på at skabe 'det gode arbejde'. En reformbevægelse som betoner vigtigheden af og muligheden for at udvikle et arbejdsliv der skaber både produktivitet og trivsel. Dette temanummer beskæftiger sig med nye udviklinger indenfor socioteknikken. S ocioteknikken har gennemgået en lang udviklingsproces siden 1950'erne. Det oprindelige fokus var som navnet antyder, at skabe et godt samspil mellem virksomhedens sociale og tekniske system. Men i Nor-den fik især Thorsrud og Emerys jobpsykologiske krav-som blandt andet vægter udvikling, indflydelse, mening og læring i arbejdet-stor indflydelse på det skandinaviske arbejdslivs udvikling. De dannede grundlaget for nye forestillinger om design af både jobs og organisationer. Denne forståelse var også et af de vigtigste grundlag for Karaseks Krav-Kontrol model, som siden 1980'erne har dannet den forståelsesmæssige ramme for arbejdet for at forbedre det psykiske arbejdsmiljø (se også Hvidet al. 2010; Hasle og Sørensen 2013). Disse krav udgjorde også et vigtigt grundlag for nye paragdigmer for arbejdet formuleret først som 'det gode arbejde' (Hvid 1991) og efterfølgende som 'det udviklende arbejde' (Hvid & Møller 1998). I de senere år er der gjort mange bestræbelser på teoretisk at forny socio-teknikken og Krav-Kontrol modellen. Dette må ses i lyset af udviklingen i det moderne arbejde, hvor de sociale relationer i høj grad er under opbrud og samtidig kommer til at betyde stadig mere for udførelsen af arbejdet. For eksempel ledes der i højere grad igennem selvledelse og selvansvarliggørelse, ligesom der med øget kundeorientering, virtualisering og nedbrydning af virksomhedens grænser ses en udvikling mod mere komplekse sociale relationer, hvor den enkelte i stadig højere grad skal udøve sit arbejde gennem relationer med andre mennesker, og i stadig mindre grad kan nøjes med blot at udføre de opgaver som bliver tildelt af ledelsen. Det har blandt andet resulteret i et øget fokus på betydningen af sociale relationer på arbejdspladsen for arbejdsmiljø, trivsel og opgaveløsning. Det kommer fx til udtryk i nye koncepter såsom social kapital og relationel koordinering (Kristensen et al. 2013; Hasle et al. 2010; Olesen et al. 2008; Gittel 2009). Men også i forskellige forsøg på at videreudvikle Krav-Kontrol modellen så den i højere grad inddrager de sociale relationer i arbejdet (se fx Hvid 2010). De to begreber har forskellige rødder og udspringer af forskellige erkendelsesinteresser. Si la nouveauté et l’originalité sont au centre de l’autodéfinition de la modernité et des discussions sur son avant-garde critique, nous examinons l’idée de la criticalité pour voir comment, dans le graphisme, c’est au contraire la reproduction, la mimesis, et même la copie fidèle qui ont donné lieu à des pratiques et à des transformations critiques percutantes. Notre discussion d’une nouvelle criticalité (malgré la perte d’originalité) repose entre autres sur la théorie cybernétique, sur la philosophie poststructuraliste et sur des exemples tirés de la première histoire du design : l’origine de l’alphabet abstrait occidental et la production européenne de masse de lettres et d’imprimerie. Concluant avec une lecture de la théorie critique, notamment autour de problématiques posées par Adorno, nous suggérons que la mimesis du design professionnel donne lieu à une transformation sociale critique malgré sa position en dehors de l’avant-garde autonome et grâce à ses racines dans le besoin quotidien.

SPETTATORI E COMFORT PER LO SPETTATORE NEGLI EDIFICI ROMANI DI INTRATTENIMENTO: UNO STUDIO SUL DESIGN FUNZIONALEGli edifici per spettacolo di epoca romana costituivano una parte integrante della società e del suo modo di rappresentare una gerarchia sociale. Non solo i posti a sedere dello spettatore erano determinati da un'ampia gamma di regolamenti legali, ma anche il raggiungimento degli stessi e l'ulteriore circolazione all'mterno degli edifici era controllata dalla loro posizione sociale. Le precedenti ricerche sugli edifici di intrattenimento si sono concentrate fondamentalmente sul singolo edificio, considerato un tipo architettonico, o sulla loro natura e funzione nell'ambito della società romana. Non molti studiosi hanno dedicato la loro attenzione alle migliaia di spettatori che realmente usavano questi edifici d'intrattenimento; o sulle precauzioni prese al fine di garantire un ambiente sicuro ed efficiente per il movimento e lo stare seduti in massa della gente. Tutti questi aspetti dovrebbero aver ampiamente influenzato le necessità funzionali e il design degli edifici per spettacolo. L'obiettivo di questo articolo è pertanto quello di approcciare questi argomenti attraverso l'analisi del design funzionale degli edifici d'intrattenimento dal punto di vista di uno spettatore. L'enfasi verrà posta sugli spettatori e sul loro comfort al fine di illustrare come questo possa aver avuto un'influenza sull'organizzazione degli edifici in questione. Lo strumento d'analisi sarà un confronto di tre edifici romani per spettacolo — il teatro di Marcello, il Circo Massimo e il Colosseo — con l'architettura degli stadi moderni.

- social co-operatives in Reggio Emilia, focalizing on the quality of relationships, have developed work inclusion activities and methods for people suffering of mental distress. The different experiences of the various co-operatives have one common aim: meet each person's needs to support work inclusion and defend the person's dignity. Each co-operative offers however different services that combine diverse learning and working contexts with personal abilities and autonomy. These developments have led co-operatives and local authorities to co-design work inclusion programmes and tutoring tools, and to co-manage their development, evaluation and revision. Guidelines for work inclusion of people with mental distress were printed and provincial work inclusion agencies were created. La drammatica pandemia mondiale, nel far emergere debolezze e fragilità riguardo le metodologie, le pratiche, le strategie didattiche e educative tradizionali, ha contribuito alla creazione di innovative modalità di apprendimento che possono segnare la strada per un ripensamento dell'intero sistema formativo ispirato a modelli inclusivi come quello dell'Universal Design for Learning. L'articolo presenta la prospettiva dell'UDL, intesa come didattica capace di essere, fin dalla progettazione, inclusiva per tutti gli studenti della classe. Tale approccio viene poi messo in relazione dialettica con il modello bio-psico-sociale dell'ICF e i suoi costrutti di contesto, barriera e facilitatore, oltre che con i recenti modelli nazionali di PEI.

The proposed topic concerns, in general, the decision-making process in urban planning in relation to its ideological implications, freedom of choice and the fight against urban poverty. In particular, this study focuses on ideal urban model design, and its subsequent export to different contexts, as a measure of development and reduction of economic and social inequality and marginalization of a certain part of the population. The case studies presented will be the following: the leisure city project "Tróia, garden-city" (1970) and the social housing project "Zona J" (1980). Even though they had different purposes (one was meant to be a middle class and touristic neighborhood, while the other was thought to be a neighborhood for poor people), both have the same formal project design. On one hand, Tróia continues representing a modern and quality touristic destination, “Zona J”, on the other hand, has become the emblem of degradation. What was initially meant to be a requalification and urban integration project has eventually become a further element of stigmatization. Through comparison between original intentions, what was actually built and their effective use of spaces, we tried to answer the questions that underlie this work: are there universally valid solutions? What makes the same project a reference work in a given context and the emblem of environmental and social degradation in another? RÉSUMÉCette étude a exploré le rapport entre la mobilité, l'intégrations sociaux et le bien-être utilisant un sous-ensemble de 754 personnes âgés et non-marriés, demeurant dans la communauté, a été choisi d'une base de donnés d'Enquête Sociale Générale 1985 de Statistique Canada. Aussi, cette étude a regardé les relations de la mobilité l'intégration sociale avec leurs enfants, leurs frères et soeurs, autres membres de famille, et amis proches; et la satisfaction sociale des rapports avec la famille et amis au bien-être. Un design correlational «cross-sectional» a été choisi. L'âge, le sexe, l'état civil et le domicile sont inclus dans une analyse de régression. Aucune interaction significative a été identifée entre l'intégration sociale et la mobilité mais les résultats appuient l'importance de la mobilité et la qualité, par opposition à la quantité des rapports sociaux au bien-être de la personne âgée. Mobilité, satisfaction envers l'amitié, être plus âgée et satisfaction avec les relations de famille étaient identifiés comme les meilleurs variables. Les implications de recherches et pour la pratique sont discutées.

Well-being is a psycho-social construct, built through life skills and is central to sustainability, enabling personal resources to be activated in order to be ethical agents of change as foreseen by the Green Comp (Bianchi, Pisiotis, & Cabrera Giraldez, 2022). A university teaching approach, which is linked to these two frameworks of skills is transformative learning, can make subjects capable of transformative agency within the classroom and in professional contexts (Engeström, 2016). The article proposes the modelling experience of the Training and Guidance models for the Green Transition course, in CDLM 57/85 of the University of Florence based on these assumptions. Life skills e Green Transition: la progettazione di un corso universitario. Il benessere è un costrutto psico-sociale, costruito attraverso le life skills ed è centrale nella sostenibilità, poiché permette di attivare le risorse personali in funzione dell’essere agenti etici di cambiamento come prevede il GreenComp (Bianchi, Pisiotis, & Cabrera Giraldez, 2022). Un approccio didattico universitario, che sia correlato a questi due quadri di competenze, è l’apprendimento trasformativo che può rendere i soggetti capaci di agency trasformativa all’interno dell’aula e nei contesti professionali (Engeström, 2016). L’articolo propone l’esperienza della modellizzazione del corso Modelli di formazione e guidance per la transizione verde, nel CDLM 57/85 dell’Università degli Studi di Firenze in funzione di questi presupposti.

L'idea di opacità in opposizione alla trasparenza nei progetti di design moderno emerge con l'arrivo del periodo post-industriale nella storia. Il termine è adatto per evidenziare l'importanza dell'opacità nei progetti di design contemporaneo e può essere visto come opacità sociale, funzionale o di materia oltre che come categoria estetica. Tuttavia, c'è una nuova e più radicale forma di opacità implicata dal design contemporaneo, soprattutto nell'ultimo decennio: la diffusione di ciò che oggi è considerato "oggetto di design" all'aspetto più evidente, all'organizzazione immateriale e, in particolare, alla dimensione emozionale. Negli ultimi vent'anni sono nate nuove pratiche e visioni. Queste non sono legate al classico design del "prodotto industriale", ma riflettono interamente quella che viene intesa come cultura del progetto di design: design dei servizi, design delle interfacce, design per ambienti produttivi, interaction design, experience design, strategic design, ecc.

Résumé Cette étude exploratoire examine les relations entre les variables socio-démographiques, sociales, psychologiques, cognitives, les stresseurs, les stratégies de coping et l’adaptation des personnes souffrant de schizophrénie. Le design de la recherche est corrélationnel avec deux mesures (cross-sectional) répétées auprès de 153 sujets à six mois d’intervalle. Les variables du modèle expliquent 49,3 % de l’adaptation au temps 1, et 54,6 % de l’adaptation au temps 2. Les données montrent que cinq prédicteurs sont simultanément significatifs aux deux temps : le travail, l’intégration sociale, la mémoire à long terme, les symptômes positifs et négatifs. Au temps 2, les variables d’estime de soi et « changer la situation » sont aussi significatives.

L’accessibilité universelle est une préoccupation majeure des pays développés, particulièrement dans les villes. Cependant, on observe une grande confusion quant à la signification de ce concept dont la définition change d’un auteur à l’autre et dont aucune ne couvre toutes les dimensions identifiées par l’ensemble des textes. Il y a aussi de nombreuses propositions, plus ou moins articulées, de différents types de design visant son atteinte. Le Comité montréalais d’étude sur l’accessibilité universelle, qui comprend des chercheurs, des représentants de regroupements d’organismes communautaires, ainsi qu’une représentante de la Direction de la diversité sociale de la Ville de Montréal, a mené les travaux de clarification de ces concepts à la base de la présente synthèse. Ce texte propose une définition formelle de l’accessibilité universelle basée sur une méthode de sélection et d’analyse de contenu des références les plus pertinentes. Cette analyse cherchait à préciser au mieux la nature du concept, ses objets et contexte d’application, sa visée sociale, la population visée et un groupe ciblé en particulier, les conditions d’utilisation, ainsi que les critères généraux d’évaluation. La même démarche terminologique a été menée pour définir les types de design contributifs à l’accessibilité universelle et pour en proposer une classification dynamique dans un processus évolutif. Ces précisions terminologiques sont proposées comme fondement au développement d’une approche interdisciplinaire, multisectorielle et multidimensionnelle de l’accessibilité universelle. Enfin, les problèmes de son évaluation sont soulignés.

The paper addresses the issue of agile work (smart working) and sustainable development as an innovative response to the (social, cultural, labor) restrictions imposed by Covid-19. With the Serrone Farm Hospitality project we intended to promote a model of social sustainability in a small village in Lazio to understand how the use of agile working practices and the active participation of the subject to informal and non-formal activities can allow the creation of regenerative poles in small villages, that is a container of social and working practices activities, sharing of skills and common participation to the economic, cultural and social design for the revitalization of the territory. Smart Working e rigenerazione dei borghi: verso nuove pratiche resilienti ai tempi del Covid-19. Il contributo affronta il tema del lavoro agile (smart working) e dello sviluppo sostenibile come risposta innovativa alle restrizioni (sociali, culturali, lavorative) imposte dal Covid-19. Con il progetto Serrone Farm Hospitality si è inteso infatti promuovere un modello di social sustainability in un piccolo borgo del Lazio per comprendere quanto il ricorso alle pratiche di lavoro agile e la partecipazione attiva del soggetto alle attività informali e non formali possano consentire la creazione di poli rigenerativi nei piccoli borghi, ovvero un contenitore di attività di pratiche sociali e lavorative, di condivisione delle skills e di partecipazione comune al disegno economico, culturale e sociale per il rilancio del territorio.

Résumé Cet article propose d’analyser et de comparer deux stratégies globales de lutte contre la pauvreté et l’exclusion sociale mises en oeuvre au Canada, soit celles du Québec et de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador. La démarche s’inspire de la théorie du policy design de Schneider et Ingram (1997). Elle vise à éprouver la pertinence de cette théorie en effectuant une analyse de contenu des plans d’action gouvernementaux. L’analyse permet d’observer le type policy design dans chaque cas. Les résultats indiquent que le cas de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador présente un policy design plus démocratique que celui du Québec qui conserve une majorité d’éléments de type dégénératifs. À travers ces cas, l’étude aborde deux problématiques : l’évitement de la politique dégénérative, où le blâme, la polarisation et les stéréotypes sociaux dominent le processus d’élaboration des politiques, et la pertinence de la théorie de Schneider et Ingram à l’extérieur du contexte américain. L’étude conclut en évaluant la pertinence de cette approche théorique dans les systèmes politiques autres qu’américain.

Nella progettazione di percorsi di orientamento formativo e professionalizzante per gli studenti dei corsi di laurea in Scienze dell'educazione e della formazione (L-19) e di Scienze pedagogiche (LM-85) risulta irrinunciabile il dialogo con i servizi per costruire traiettorie di riflessività, esplicitando l'intenzionalità sottesa agli interventi attuati. Il contributo descrive una proposta realizzata nell'a.a. 2019/2020 nell'ambito del progetto SUPER – "Percorsi di Orientamento e Tutorato per promuovere il successo universitario e professionale" e configurata in modalità on line durante la fase 2 del Covid-19. L'esperienza "S-POT: officine progettuali" ha permesso agli studenti di confrontarsi con professionisti che operano in contesti educativi, condividendo riflessioni critiche con i propri docenti. In seguito, i partecipanti, con il supporto delle senior tutor, hanno lavorato in piccolo gruppo con l'obiettivo di proporre un'idea progettuale da sottoporre alle équipe incontrate. Questa iniziativa ha offerto la possibilità di entrare nell'eterogeneo mondo dei servizi che si interroga, cercando risposte innovative, a fronte dei cambiamenti costanti. In tal modo, sono emerse le diverse prefigurazioni professionali degli studenti e la concretezza plurale dei profili di educatori e di coordinatori pedagogici inseriti in équipe multidisciplinari. L'attraversamento di vari ambiti lavorativi ha dato voce alle molteplici sfide del sociale, facendo affiorare la vitalità dell'agire educativo e lanciando ponti di apprendimento condiviso.

Résumé L’article propose un cadre conceptuel pour le renouvellement des pratiques de formation des enseignants, pratiques issues de l’intégration pédagogique des technologies de l’information et de la communication, elle-même orientée vers l’apprentissage en collaboration. Adoptant une perspective socioconstructiviste et une méthodologie d’expérimentation de devis socio-techniques (design experiments), les chercheurs formulent treize principes de conception de l’intégration des TIC pour favoriser l’interaction sociale au sein et entre des communautés d’apprentissage. Ces résultats proviennent de plusieurs cycles d’expérimentation effectués en quatre contextes différents. Ils dégagent ensuite des conditions de réussite de l’intégration pédagogique de ces nouveaux outils pour le renouvellement de la formation des enseignants.

Vi argumenterer i artiklen for, at den kommunikative rehabiliteringspraksis bør adressere emotionelle forhold af betydning for genoptræningen og herunder især betydning af tilhørsforhold, identitet og mening. Med inddragelse af to specifikke cases om genoptræning af afasiramte i virtuelle miljøer, der viser, hvorledes interaktion i sociale læringsmiljøer kan sætte sig igennem i handling, socialisering og kommunikation, vil vi diskutere betydningen af emotioner og motivation i virtuelle læringsmiljøer. Afslutningsvis kommer vi med et bud på et didaktisk design for mennesker med afasi efter en erhvervet hjerneskade.

EN The pandemic amplified the educational disparities that Latinx students face in virtual courses. This research project describes Spanish Heritage Language (SHL) learners’ experiences with remote instruction, and it proposes using the Community of Inquiry Model (Garrison et al., 2000) and modified versions of the Theory of Social Presence (Fayram, 2017; Hauck & Warnecke, 2012; Strong et al., 2012; Whiteside, 2015) as guiding frameworks to obtain information about social presence (SP) aspects in the online classroom. A total of 126 SHL learners took a validated online survey to evaluate the challenges of switching to a remote modality of instruction. This research emphasizes the need to design effective online courses that foster SP as a key element to diminish feelings of isolation and encourage active participation in the classroom. We propose that teaching presence is an important component of social presence in online SHL courses, and we offer pedagogical implications for practitioners. Los resultados indican la importancia de diseñar cursos virtuales efectivos que promuevan la presencia social como el elemento clave para disminuir el aislamiento y promover la participación activa en las clases. En este estudio proponemos que la presencia docente es un componente importante de la presencia social en la enseñanza virtual del español como lengua de herencia y ofrecemos implicaciones pedagógicas para el profesorado. I risultati evidenziano la necessità di corsi online efficaci che promuovano la SP come fattore chiave per diminuire il senso di isolamento e incoraggiare una partecipazione attiva alla lezione. Viene suggerita la presenza dell’insegnante come componente importante della SP nei corsi online di SHL e vengono trattate le implicazioni pedagogiche per i docenti stessi. - nowadays, any person involved in work inclusion of disadvantaged individuals feels the need to conceptualize the recent changes in work environments. The latest efforts of scholars and professionals have been, on the one hand, to design for disadvantaged persons schemes of direct access to the labour market, and on the other, to go beyond the concept of employability and reassess other work dimensions. There are no alternative words for defining "reintegration", but in light of the theories and good practices on capacitation, one understands that the responsibility of exclusion is not individual, but collective. This collective responsibility involves: processes of inclusion, recognition of different identities, citizenship and dignity, protection and hospitality. The keyword might be "knowledge", or creating culture through collaboration. The authors outline the development of work environments - from Fordism to post-Fordism - in order to highlight the features of current working conditions, the risks of social vulnerability, and the ongoing social transformations. Finally, they distinguish emerging disadvantaged people from traditionally disadvantaged persons, and raise open questions such as: what action and collaboration should be put into place for work inclusion of disadvantaged people? Diseñar formas y espacios de aprendizaje es un proceso que requiere creatividad pe­dagógica, arquitectónica, social, cultural y política.La literatura científica nacional e internacional (OCDE, 2017) sobre innovación educa­tiva destaca la estrecha relación que conecta la didáctica con el entorno de aprendiza­je. Por ello, los procesos de renovación educativa no pueden prescindir de una nueva visión de los espacios escolares y de los entornos educativos.Surgen nuevas pautas de planificación escolar, se enfatiza el aprendizaje como un pro­ceso activo y constructivo en el que cada niño tiene un papel «protagonista».De hecho, en el escenario contemporáneo, los estudiantes se convierten en partici­pantes activos en la creación de información y nuevas ideas en el entorno educativo. En consecuencia, la educación del siglo XXI se basa en tres principios pedagógicos (McLoughlin & Lee, 2008): personalización, participación y productividad (Luna Scott, 2015).El estudio de estos aspectos, acompañado del análisis evaluativo y comparativo de experiencias de diseño en el ámbito escolar, nos ha permitido configurar el nuevo concepto SINAPSI 0-14, un sistema de mobiliario que adapta y adopta tecnologías avanzadas para satisfacer las necesidades de los niños y profesores, actuales y futuras, según una perspectiva holística.El objetivo era diseñar un sistema de celdas «orgánicas» modulares, flexibles y adap­tables que pudieran ser utilizadas de forma transversal por usuarios de diferentes edades, desde jardines de infancia hasta centros de enseñanza primaria y secundaria. SINAPSI 0-14 se configura en formas que pertenecen a un universo de geometrías que se remontan a una única matriz de elementos orgánicos. El conjunto de símbolos que pueden agregarse definen diferentes formas del sistema de mobiliario, haciendo que el espacio educativo sea «cronotópico» y capaz de cambiar según el tiempo y el lugar que se cree y según el uso y las necesidades.Estos estudios en profundidad han permitido reconstruir un repertorio analítico crítico sobre el tema de los espacios educativos y la arquitectura escolar, entrelazando sus cambios en función de los modelos pedagógicos y los instrumentos normativos, para definir la escuela del futuro. Progettare forme e spazi di apprendimento è un processo che richiede creatività pedagogica, architettonica, sociale, culturale e politica.La letteratura scientifica nazionale e internazionale (OECD, 2017) sull’innovazione educativa evidenzia la stretta relazione che connette la didattica all’ambiente di apprendimento. Per tale ragione, i processi di rinnovamento della didattica non posso prescindere da una nuova visione degli spazi scolastici e dei setting educativi.Emergono nuove linee guida per la progettazione scolastica, si enfatizza l’apprendimento come un processo attivo e costruttivo nel quale ogni bambino ha un ruolo di “protagonista”.Difatti, nello scenario contemporaneo, gli studenti divengono partecipanti attivi alla creazione di informazioni e di nuove idee nell’ambiente educativo. Di conseguenza, l'istruzione del ventunesimo secolo si basa su tre principi pedagogici (McLoughlin & Lee, 2008): personalizzazione, partecipazione e produttività (Luna Scott, 2015).Lo studio di tali aspetti, accompagnato dall’analisi valutativa e comparativa di esperienze progettuali in campo scolastico, ha consentito di configurare il nuovo concept allestitivo SINAPSI 0-14, un sistema d’arredo che adatti e adotti le avanzate tecnologie per rispondere ai bisogni di bambini e insegnanti, attuali e futuri, secondo una prospettiva olistica.L’obiettivo è stato progettare un sistema di cellule “organiche” modulari, flessibili e adattabili che possano essere utilizzate in maniera trasversale da utenti di diverse età, dalle scuole d’infanzia alle scuole primarie e secondarie di primo grado. SINAPSI 0-14 si configura in forme appartenenti a un universo di geometrie riconducibili a un’unica matrice di elementi organici. L’insieme dei simboli aggregabili definiscono differenti forme del sistema di arredo rendendo lo spazio didattico “cronotopico” atto a modificarsi in funzione del tempo e del luogo che si crea e in funzione dell’uso e delle esigenze.Tali approfondimenti hanno consentito di ricostruire un repertorio critico analitico sul tema degli spazi educativi e delle architetture scolastiche intrecciandone i cambiamenti in linea con i modelli pedagogici e gli strumenti normativi, al fine di definire la scuola del futuro.

Denne artikel tager afsæt i den aktuelle sociologiske og offentlige diskussion om offentlige byrum og præsenterer nyere og i dansk sammenhæng stort set ukendte bidrag fra den strømning i fransk sociologi, der betegnes som ”den pragmatiske vending”. Artiklen har to hovedpointer. For det første at den pragmatiske bysociologi kan bidrage til denne diskussion ved at beskrive og fremhæve betydningen af de oftest upåagtede og dagligdags kompetencer, ved hjælp af hvilke byboere skaber sociale overenskomster og fredelig sameksistens på offentlige steder i socialt og kulturelt differentierede byer. For det andet at bysociologien ifølge de pragmatiske sociologer ikke kan standse ved analyser af segregation, ghettodannelser og lokale fællesskabers tilegnelser af territorier. ”At tænke byen” indebærer at bevæge sig videre til også at undersøge de byrumsmæssige design og trafikale forbindelser og passageveje, der skaber sammenhængen i det urbane væv og tillader byboeren at overvinde fremmedheden på et ikke fortroligt territorium. ENGELSK ABSTRACT: Martin Severin Frandsen: Rediscovering Urban Culture and Public Space: On Isaac Joseph and the Pragmatic Turn in French Urban Sociology This article analyses current sociological and public discussions concerning public urban spaces, and introduces new (and in a Danish context largely unknown) contributions from the movement in French sociology that has been labelled ”the pragmatic turn”. The article makes two main arguments. Firstly, the pragmatic urban sociology can contribute to these discussions by highlighting the importance of the often unnoticed and everyday civilities through which city-dwellers create social agreements and peaceful co-existence in public places in socially and culturally heterogeneous cities. Secondly, urban sociology cannot, according to the pragmatic sociologists, stop with inquiries into segregation, ghettos and local populations appropriations of territories. Imagining the city implies moving on to explore the designs of public spaces and public transit systems that create continuity and mobility in urban agglomerations and allow city-dwellers to overcome the strangeness of unfamiliar territories.

I artiklen beskriver vi erfaringer fra et projekt på Aalborg Universitet (AAU), hvor forfatterne designede et forløb med Google+ communities for at skabe øget samhørighed, interaktion og vidensdeling mellem studerende på 1. semester på studiet Kommunikation og Digitale Medier (KDM). Studier viser, at studerende i vid udstrækning anvender sociale netværkssteder, såsom Facebook, i forbindelse med deres studieliv til faglige, men i særdeleshed sociale aktiviteter. Det betyder, at vi som undervisere har et begrænset indblik i, hvad de studerende kommunikerer om og har af problemstillinger i deres studieliv, hvilket er problematisk i forhold til at udvikle et fagligt fællesskab og forankringspunkt. Det skyldes endvidere, at brugen af det institutionelle system Moodle er begrænset til envejskommunikation fra underviser til studerende. Formålet med udviklingsprojektet var således at skabe et tredje rum imellem Facebook og Moodle, som skulle give de studerende oplevelser og erfaringer med, hvordan de kan bruge og finde inspiration i hinandens arbejde ved at deltage i et online-fællesskab sammen med underviserne. Projektet viser, at underviserne spiller en central rolle i udviklingen af online-fællesskabet, men samtidig, at nogle af forløbets aktiviteter har haft positiv indflydelse på de studerendes samhørighed, interaktion og vidensdeling gennem forløbet. In this paper, we share experiences from a project at Aalborg University (AAU), in which the authors designed a course using Google + Communities for the first semester of the Communication and Digital Media programme. In this programme Google + Communities was used to nurture both an academic and social community among the students, through encouraging interaction and knowledge sharing. Studies show that students prefer to use Facebook for academic and social purposes. As a consequence, teachers have minimal insight into the challenges facing students, which is problematic when trying to create and support an academic community. Moreover, it is problematic that the institutional system Moodle primarily is used by the teachers to push information in the direction of the students. Thus, we wanted to design a third space that would fit in-between Facebook and Moodle, and which would allow the students to experience the benefits of participating in an online community with fellow students and teachers. The project shows that teachers are crucial in developing and maintaining the online community. But there was also evidence that some of the online activities encouraged students to interact and share knowledge and fostered a sense of community.

A partir desta perspectiva transdisciplinar este estudo tem por objectivo demonstrar que as teorias da Science Sociale de Le Play, associadas à Escola Francesa de Urbanismo estiveram presentes na ideologia e no pensamento político de Salazar, com consequências efectivas nas reformas urbanas feitas pelo seu governo, quer na morfologia do território do Plano da Costa do Sol (divulgado em 1936 como nova Lisboa) quer na morfologia e arquitectura do Plano do Bairro de Alvalade (divulgado em 1948 como Lisboa nova), que se apresentaram como novas cidades da cidade e que se constituem como história urbana de Lisboa.

Para ello se adoptan las cifras de los indicadores de la Ricyt (Red Iberoamericana de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación), y con base en los resultados, se construyen dos modelos de sustentabilidad, fundamentados en dos ecuaciones paralelas. El primer modelo, está en función de la sostenibilidad y la pertinencia de las actividades de Ciencia y Tecnología. El segundo modelo, hace depender la sustentabilidad de la responsabilidad social y la iniciativa a la estructura. Se espera que los resultados arrojados por este doble modelo, sean más robustos que aquellos formulados a partir de los resultados de cada uno de los métodos por separado.ABSTRACTThis study aims at identifying the indicators in the fields of science and technology, which factors determine the sustainability of investment policies on science, research and innovation, among Iberoamerican countries. For this, Ricyt indicators have been adopted (Iberoamerican Network of Science, Technology and Innovation), and based on results, two sustainability models are designed focused on two parallel equations. The first model supports sustainability and appropriateness of scientific and technological activities. The second model, however, describes the dependence on sustainability based on social responsibility and structure initiative. It is really expected that the results shown by these two models be more robust than those resulting from each of these models in isolation.RESUMÉÉCe document vise à identifier, grâce à certains indicateurs scientifiques et technologiques, les facteurs déterminant la viabilité des politiques d’investissement en Science, Technologie et Innovation dans les pays d’Amérique latine. Samenvatting Deze studie onderzoekt op individueel niveau en teamniveau de mediërende rol van psychologische veiligheid en teamleren in de relatie tussen transformationeel leiderschap (TFL) en innovatief werkgedrag (IWG). Er werd een cross-sectioneel surveyonderzoek uitgevoerd onder medewerkers van drie media- en marketingbedrijven in Nederland, waaraan in totaal 164 medewerkers participeerden, afkomstig uit 39 werkteams. Door middel van multilevel padanalyse werden de data op zowel individueel niveau als teamniveau geanalyseerd. De onderzoeksresultaten tonen aan dat TFL positief samenhangt met IWG en haar dimensies ideeëngeneratie, ideeënpromotie en ideeënimplementatie, op zowel individueel niveau als teamniveau. Op individueel niveau werd sequentiële mediatie door psychologische veiligheid en teamleren vastgesteld in de relatie tussen TFL en ideeënpromotie en ideeënimplementatie. Op teamniveau werd sequentiële mediatie door psychologische veiligheid en teamleren vastgesteld in de relatie tussen TFL en ideeënpromotie. Door het multilevel design en de keuze voor mediatoren die het sociale proces onderliggend aan IWG reflecteren, draagt deze studie bij aan het beter begrijpen van de manier waarop TFL innovatief gedrag in de werkcontext kan bevorderen.

Résumé L’objectif de cet article est de répondre à la question de recherche suivante : Quelles sont les compétences spécifiques des entrepreneurs sociaux et solidaires dont le transfert pourrait aider les dirigeants des petites entreprises poursuivant des stratégies de RSE/DD ? Une première partie théorique examine, tout d’abord, les particularités des petites entreprises eu égard aux enjeux de la RSE et du développement durable ; puis elle identifie les principales caractéristiques de l’entrepreneuriat social et solidaire ; enfin, elle mobilise les théories de la compétence selon une approche croisant GRH et management stratégique pour s’attacher au développement et au transfert de compétences. La seconde partie empirique explique la méthodologie suivie pour la collecte et l’analyse des données. La stratégie de recherche est fondée sur une étude de cas unique avec design enchâssé à visée exploratoire. L’étude du cas porte sur l’association à but non lucratif « Citoyens de la Terre » qui présente la particularité d’être parfaitement bien intégrée tant dans le monde de l’économie sociale que dans celui de l’économie classique. Les résultats obtenus sont organisés en deux volets. Dans le premier volet, l’article analyse les principales compétences cognitives, fonctionnelles, relationnelles et les métacompétences des entrepreneurs solidaires en relevant leurs forces et leurs faiblesses. Dans le second volet, l’article examine comment sont intervenus les transferts de compétences entre des entrepreneurs solidaires et des entrepreneurs classiques dans le cadre de la démarche Éveil (coordonnée par Citoyens de la Terre) qui est une démarche collective de progrès à destination des petites entreprises touristiques et artisanales souhaitant évoluer vers un tourisme responsable et durable.

This paper proposes a critical reflection about the need of transforming school into an inclusive environment, to promote personal enhancement and to enrich the collegial, social and cultural dimension. A short theoretical excursus, aimed at defining an open and autopoietic school system (Maturana & Valera, 1985), preempts a description of the different tools used to design and evaluate an inclusive school. The purpose is to consider the impact that these instruments could have in terms of policies, practices and inclusive cultures (Booth & Ainscow, 2002). The authors believe that inclusion is not a set of policies and practices, but a mental space, able to establish a culture shared by the different stakeholders of the school community. Una sfida culturale: rinnovare lo spazio mentale per una scuola inclusiva. Il contributo propone una riflessione critica di carattere espositivo rispetto all’urgenza di trasformare la scuola in un ambiente inclusivo, al fine di promuovere la valorizzazione personale e arricchire la dimensione collegiale, sociale e culturale. Dopo un breve excursus teorico, finalizzato alla definizione di un sistema formativo aperto e autopoietico (Maturana & Valera, 1985), sono presentati i diversi strumenti utili alla progettazione e valutazione di una scuola inclusiva. Scopo della riflessione è considerare l’impatto che questi strumenti sono in grado di determinare in termini di politiche, prassi e culture inclusive (Booth & Ainscow, 2002). Il presupposto alla base della riflessione degli autori è considerare l’inclusione non soltanto un insieme di politiche e pratiche, ma soprattutto uno spazio mentale, in grado di determinare una cultura diffusa e condivisa dai diversi stakeholder della comunità scolastica.

This article proposes an integration approach to realize human rights values within administrative agencies. Using social assistance as a factual context, it examines how rights enforcement has become the dominant mechanism for reforming government benefits programs. Rights enforcement is ineffective at achieving the values underlying human rights codes, however, even where enforcement occurs at administrative tribunals. Attention must therefore be directed towards efforts to infuse individual and institutional discretion with human rights values. Given their quasi-constitutional status, such values have a key role to play in shaping the design of administrative agencies and the everyday decisions of front-line workers. Dans ce document, l’auteur propose une approche axée sur l’intégration des droits afin d’assurer le respect des valeurs qui sous-tendent les droits de la personne à l’intérieur des organismes administratifs. En se servant de l’aide sociale comme toile de fond, l’auteur explique que la plupart des décisions discrétionnaires prises dans le cadre de l’exécution des droits ne sont pas contestées. Les mécanismes d’exécution des droits ne permettent pas d’assurer le respect des valeurs qui sous-tendent les droits de la personne, notamment en ce qui concerne les programmes d’avantages sociaux du gouvernement. En conséquence, il faut tenter d’intégrer ces valeurs aux décisions administratives discrétionnaires prises au niveau tant personnel qu’institutionnel. En raison de leur statut quasi constitutionnel, ces valeurs ont un rôle clé à jouer pour façonner la conception des organismes administratifs et les décisions que les travailleurs de première ligne sont appelés à prendre tous les jours.

Dotată cu materiale didactice și cu aparatură corespunzătoare disciplinelor cărora sala le-a fost destinată, cu concursul, participarea și implicarea caracteristice oricărui început de drum, profesorul Climent Horeanu și discipolii săi, Florin Clinovschi și Cezar Valentin Tomescu au reușit să-i dea viață și să demonstreze că un simplu laborator poate să primească dimensiuni polivalente, atât formativ-educative, cât și sociale. Pornind de la un microscop găsit întâmplător prin universitatea suceveană și de la un pachet generos de plante presate, adunate cu trudă și pasiune, timp de un sfert de veac, de către profesorul Horeanu, laboratorul dedicat disciplinelor Botanică și Dendrologie a mai „primit” o disciplină îngemănată celor două, Arhitectura Peisageră și Design Forestier. Astăzi laboratorul dispune de o colecție dendrologică și arboricolă ornamentală deosebită în Campusul 1 al universității sucevene, la care se adaugă o suprafață generoasă în Campusul 2, unde se conturează promițător o grădină botanică și un parc dendrologic.

Abstract. The gap between child care research and policy is growing in BC. While policy changes are what one would expect from the right-of-centre Liberal government, the gap runs contrary to its expressed commitment to the design of early childhood development policy on the basis of ‘science.’ The BC child care domain thus provides a rich context in which to examine how ideology mediates the consumption of research in the political arena. This article argues that the government's ‘choice’ discourse facilitates the articulation of neoliberal principles in a rhetorically neutral way while casting doubt on scholarship that illuminates gender and class inequalities.Résumé. L'écart entre les recherches au sujet de soins d'enfant et la politique s'élargit en Colombie-Britannique. Pendant qu'on prévoit ces changements d'un gouvernement libéral droit-du-centre, l'écart dément son engagement de concevoir la politique de development de la petite enfance d'après la “science”. Ainsi la domaine de soins d'enfant en Colombie-Britannique fournit un contexte riche pour examiner comment l'idéologie s'interpose dans la consommation de recherches dans l'arène politique. Cet article soutient que la soi-disant dialogue de “choix” du gouvernement facilite l'articulation des principes néolibéraux d'une manière neutraliste pendant qu'on soulève du doute à l'érudition qui illumine des inégalités de genre et de classe sociale.

Purpose In France, all incarcerated prisoners are required to undergo a dental examination (Ministère de la santé et de la protection sociale, 2004 and Ministère de la justice, 2004). However, only one in two prisoners benefits from this oral health check-up. Oral teleconsultation could improve the quality of oral care in prisons. The paper aims to discuss these issues. Design/methodology/approach The focus of this study was therefore to apply oral teleconsultation as an experiment. Using an oral teleconsultation system, a dentist and a nurse were separately asked to give patients a score, according to how urgently their dental issue needed to be treated. This score will henceforth be referred to as the “dental emergency scores given”. Findings The separate dental emergency scores given by the dentist and the nurse were compared and the results demonstrate the following: – 36.7 per cent (11) of the two scores were equal – 53.3 per cent (16) of the two scores differed by 1 point – 10 per cent (3) of the two scores differed by 2 points. The average score of the nurse was 2.23 and that of the dentist was 2.13. The small disparity should not obscure the fact that 63 per cent of the diagnoses turned out to be incorrect. Practical implications Dental care could easily be improved with oral teleconsultation as a care plan could be developed for each patient. Social implications The condition of one’s dental health is, of course, very important for general health, but it also affects social aspects. Good oral hygiene and health are very important when looking for a job after having been released from prison. Originality/value This is the first study on oral teleconsultation in prisons. Dental care is rarely studied on prisoners. Telemedicine in dentistry is just beginning all over the world. This study is the first step of an extensive project in the University Hospital of Montpellier and the Villeneuve-les-Maguelone prison.
