In general, most people of contemporary society are devoted to their study, work, performances, and working hours to “survive.” Raraly do they have the opportunity to relieve their tension, whether psychologically or physiologically, due partly to the lack of soothing and relaxing places in downtown, central business districts. To saught for such a space, urban residents tend to move out of town to spend some time in the alleged garden-style restaurents where they can dine and enjoy relaxing moments in a natural-element-surround ambiance. To further delve into such an ambiance, this study conduted field investigation of noted design cases located in the outskirts of different cities. These cases vary in size, spatial design features, as well as food pattern. Several design guide lines concerning the ways for users to relax and enjoy their stay in these places are inducted for application in the proposed design project. The proposed project is set in a virtual site that may embody the majority of guideles derived from the field study. Through a series of proposed design schemes, this study came up with the following design recommendations: 1.to equip the seating areas surrounded by various garden related elements, e.g., bushes, flower beds, flower shelf, water, partitions, sculptures, and so forth to induce close interaction of users and natural elements. 2.to separate as much as possible the distance between seating zones, to offer isolated, private, secluded, and personal dining area. 3.to make the best use of natural views for visual design, particularly that offered by distant views: mountains, forests, sunsets, rivers, streams, even make-believe water fall. 4.to mingle up enclosed, semi-encloesd, level change, and open spaces in the design, to escalate the number of spatial layers that may help generate multi angle visual effect and spatial experience. 5.to include in all corners greenery and plant design elements so as to portray the image of healthy dieting and healthy environment.

This research is mainly studying on Bosch’s ideologies and expression methods in art creation. This research mainly construct on and use “The garden of earthly delights” as main example to do further discussions and this study has transferred to one of the most important reference in author’s future art creation path. Another purpose of this research is to do a deep and complete study in Bosch. Therefore have a complete and through view in his art expressions and art styles. This research also shows that his influences to the art world and shows that Bosch’s art creations are the most different creations in sixteenth century. The research use document analysis method to gather information and historical analysis method to understand the whole culture background and use comparison method to discuss ideologies behind paintings and style forming. This research use historical analysis method, style forming analysis method, picture analysis method, art sociology analysis, and conclusive method in order to have a better view for Bosch’s art development through his life. Using the methods above, this research included inside factors and outside factors: this research did a direct studying in today’s art creations by Bosch, and on the other hand also considered the art creations’ culture and society background and time frame. And try to understand the meaning behind the art creations and build a new way to appreciate Bosch’s art creations. Bosch’s non-logical religious paintings are his critics and over all review to the culture he belonged. Also Bosch used a non-logical thinking pattern to express his reactivity and sarcasm to society, religion, and culture at that time. Author thinks Bosch’s painting ideologies are critics to fifteenth and sixteenth centuries’ religious movement and also sarcasms to the society phenomena at that time. Bosch also used religious, allegorize, and proverbial as painting contains in showing the actual painting forms and core spiritual ideologies. Therefore the paintings have teaching purpose and are wildly accepted by all levels from the society. Bosch’s paintings have strong religious spirit and through oil and woodprint paintings, his allegorize painting ideologies kept till today. The Bosch’s paintings also reflect unique thoughts in religious society and culture and have great impacts to the following artists. His great imagination and create many famous dreamily paintings also collected by art museums and studying by art professionals. All these show that Bosch’s paintings have unique culture values and also proved Bosch’s paintings are unique and full of creativity. The famous painting “Garden of earthly delights” is one of the most important painting in Western art history. The conclusion of this complex and allegorize painting is that: human over look god’s rules and made unforgiving sins and as a result human suffer the terrible consequences. Early twentieth century, spiritual analysis method came out and plus symbolism, dadaism and super realism were also born. People regain interest in Bosch and are generally think he is a prophet and also a leader in subversive. Bosch’s non-logical painting show multiple imagines, combine grouping structure and mind transformed creating styles still use by super realism after six hundreds years later and amaze the art world in twentieth century. Therefore, this research agrees Bosch has his articulate language and has established an important role in art history.

This thesis through the view of internal resources and external environment in the case of T restaurant analyzes the business strategy and operation and development. It develops the related business strategy of T restaurant in connection with the problems of T restaurant through the analysis of SWOT(Strength Weakness Opportunity Threat), the overall environment analysis, and five forces analysis, including the cost strategy, the sales strategy, the resource strategy and the marketing strategy. After T restaurant uses the recommendations of this thesis, although the way to increase the substantive performance improvement is limited, but the popular of T restaurant as well as enhance customer service satisfaction on T restaurant. Recommendations in the strategy of cost, due to the change in the use of food as well as the purchase of equipment to consider first the Middle Ages and ask them whether there are suitable goods, T restaurant had a marked change cost reduction. Strategic recommendations on product sales and the use of resources, allow customers to not only know more about T Restaurant, also noted that the T restaurant self-brewed products. Because of T restaurant on their own planting and making, it makes customers not only to increases the willingness to buy and order the hand-brewed products by phone, but also to increase T-restaurant revenue and visibility. This thesis recommendations of business strategy to T restaurant not only help the T Restaurant to enhance operating income and lower operating costs, but also enhance the popularity and visibility of the T restaurant.

One by one garden restaurants have been flourishing in the past few years. Due to the changes in consumers’ desires and their diverse demands, the executive managers of restaurants are endeavoring to offer excellent services and products to satisfy their consumers. Meanwhile, they also show deep concerns about constant cooperation and development of restaurants in the future. They have decided to establish a complete list of requirements as follows. This research is classified into 8 job functions and 42 administrative abilities based on repeated inquiries of many paper resources. For the purpose of collecting detailed data, I first sketch an outline before conducting interviews with related people. The interviews included 21 questions with 8 top business managers. The final conclusions contain 3 main topics, 8 job functions and 44 administrative abilities listed as follows: 1. Those who put more emphasis on the operation of the restaurant are much more familiar with their competition and also very clear about their managing goals and administrative system. 2. Those who emphasize operational knowledge usually familiarize themselves with sanitation, security and fire control issues. They also have full knowledge of gardening layouts and entertainments. 3. Those who emphasize the resolution of problems are good at communication, language abilities, and maintenance of gardens. 4. Those who emphasize business administration are capable of handling crisis, appreciating beauty and applied computing information. 5. Those who emphasize social relationships are capable of leadership and on the job training. 6. Those who emphasize working motivation and enthusiasm offer the best services and desire for positive learning. 7. Those who emphasize working attitude and value are capable of emotion control and working coordination. 8. Those who emphasizes personality are full of affinity, creation and patience. ii From this research, we learn that garden restaurant businesses focus on landscape gardening and administration systems. As far as academic circles are concerned, we should increase the courses for the concept of beauty appreciation and idea of creation. For business purposes, we should ask for assistance from experts, present affinity and personality. We should also create a new value by varied change and finally set a perspective of eternal management.

With the fast-pace lives of modern people along with economic development, garden restaurants have become a trend of leisure. How to create a garden restaurant for the masses has become a popular topic. Lowgu’s Home is one of the few large-scale garden restaurants with landscapes in Southern Taiwan, and it has successfully operated for 8 years in Meinong. The main differences between this study and past studies of garden restaurants are: (1) Meinong’s geographical location: garden landscaping can be imitated and replicated, but Meinong's natural environment is unique, (2) large landscapes combined with art projects: past garden restaurants rarely incorporated art pieces, and (3) cooperation with universities: owner’s cooperation with universities in the beginning stages of establishing the restaurant has influenced Lowgu’s success. The purpose of this study is to understand the origin, entrepreneurial motivation, key operational success factors, and challenges of Lowgu’s Home in order to make suggestions to the industry. The study will provide operational strategy recommendations that can serve as a reference for similar Taiwanese restaurants. This qualitative research is based on in-depth interviews with the owners, employees and customers, as well as an on-site field study of the restaurant for triangulation. The study integrates grounded theory to explore Lowgu’s Home’s entrepreneurial motivation and key success factors in combining gardening and restaurant. The study has five main findings: (1) Start-up background: catering related background and interest in gardening. (2) Entrepreneurial motivation: changes in family business spurred the founder of the restaurant to start working with National Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism (NKUHT) through a friend’s introduction, and he decided to become an entrepreneur. (3) Key success factors: uniqueness that is difficult to imitate, industry cooperation and business guidance from NKUHT, no rent as operational location is family owned, and regular maintenance of garden landscapes to ensure customer satisfaction of the garden restaurant experience. (4) Business strategy: high quality word-of-mouth marketing and group reservations from special customers like motorbike gatherings and Tzu Chi vegetarian groups. (5) Problems and difficulties: hard to find talent in rural areas, local culture does not really attract local customers, differences in ideals of family management, and steady growth but low profit margins. Therefore, this paper presents a study on entrepreneurial motivation and key success factors of garden restaurants with natural landscapes.

This research aims to innovate the procedures of service quality in art garden restaurants so as to enhance the value of catering services, and improve profitability. Adopting the case study method, the researcher conducts in-depth interviews with participant observation, narrative analysis, and focus group discussion method to discuss the current problems which is facing in the case. Then use the Root Contradiction Anal-ysis (RCA) of TRIZ tools to identify the optimal solutions , and propose the innovative and specific plans. The study finds that by improving both the service quality processes and innovative business models of the art garden restaurants, which can effectively enhance the profitability and value of the case study restaurants. Finally, the proposal provides multiple criteria decision making with reference to the future management of the art garden restaurants. The practical implications of the research is threefold: 1. Through in-depth interviews and participant observation to understand the business model of the management in case restaurant. Furthermore, learn entrepreneurial experience from orther managers, and find the characteristic between combining food and beverage specialties can be refered to related arts garden restaurants. 2. Create an innovative business models and make systematic improvement on the service quality of arts garden restaurant, in order to enhance profitability. 3. Tools such as the Root Contradiction Analysis (RCA) and the 40 inventive principals of TRIZ can be widely applied to the management of restaurant service quality.

Along with the factors, such as the change in the trend of times, the change in family structure and the increase of dining-out population, they consequently accelerate the rapid development in the catering industry. In recent years, Taiwanese people improve their knowledge level and emphasize leisure life, thus modern dining habit is not only for feeding, but also strives for individualization and uniqueness and focuses on the added value beyond enjoying meals. As a result, it urged the catering industry to emphasize the dining style and atmosphere, and such developing trend approved the lifestyle with a high consumer’s autonomy. The catering industry must to actively develop various styles of catering products to cater to consumers so as to know customers’ thought and expectation well. Therefore, how to satisfy consumers’ demand will definitely become a key operating issue for the catering industry in the future. This study is mainly to use the determination of service-marketing mix strategy and customer satisfaction to improve the service quality, and further to increase customers’ loyalty, which will become the primary marketing and operating goals for the catering industry in the future. Service-marketing mix strategy is adopted in this study and Eden restaurant is the main research object. Based on the marketing mix strategy and customer satisfaction, by means of collecting relevant literature and previous data of marketing mix strategy, make these questions for the customer questionnaire. Then, carry out the empirical statistics analysis to draft a proper marketing strategy for Eden restaurant.

Tourism industry is always recognized as the fastest growing service industry in the world and its scale is getting bigger and bigger. Among the tourism industry, the hospitality industry accounts for half of the profit of tourism industry. Catering industry and hotel industry together are called hospitality industry, which is the most crucial role in the tourism industry. The main purpose of this research is to understand “the research of hospitality industry dealing with the the customers’ complaints, according to documents, discussing and arranging the relative theories and researches about the customers’ complaints, hospitality industry and management, etc. by having depth interview with people working in hospitality industry, customers and etc. as objects to understand the customers’ needs and the crisis management method when people working in hospitality industry encounter the complaints from customers . This research adopts qualitative research depth interviews survey, after analysis and discussion, proposing three conclusions: hospitality industry should immediately listened to the customers and solves problems when facing customers’ complaints, foods should be under effective management and value comprehensive education and training in hospitality industry.

The visitor's recreational activity participates, the information source is mostly recommended with friends and relatives companion, the recreational companion is known as the majority of the colleague's friend, the most work on recreational activity watches a television, the recreational property takes amusement as a main recreational type, most visitors are all satisfied with an own leisure. 4. The organic food becomes an important burgeoning industry in recent years. However, the relevant research is still scanty. In this research Tamalakau Organic Medicinal Botanical Garden Restaurant is the research target. We would like to explore the purchasers of organic products through the Theory of Planned Behavior and the relationship between theory and variables. In order to establish the theoretical research framework, this research is based on the Theory of Planned Behavior, and to explore the measurement model of purchasers of organic products. Besides, it is also to explain and predict the direct and indirect effect of the attitude, subject norm, control of perception behavior, and purchasing behavior toward purchasing. According to the result, the relevant key factors would influence the positive relevant degree. That means the Theory of Planed Behavior will affect the purchasers behavior directly. Based on the 433 questionnaires, the result of this research shows that the purchasers with different backgrounds show positive impact on attitude, subject norm, and control of perception behavior. Finally, we would like to provide the purchasers of the products from Tamalakau Organic Medicinal Botanical Garden Restaurant with positive perception and the notion of medicinal botany. The result of the research also provides the producers organic products, organic food restaurants and guidance organizations with planning and executive reference.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships among the service quality, customer satisfaction and customer loyalty at the Wonder Garden Restaurant. It also explored the differences between different demographic variables. The objects of the study were the customers of the Wonder Garden Restaurant at Chungli District of Taoyuan City. Convenience sampling was used and 410 questionnaires were issued. Finally, 403 questionnaires were collected. The overall response rate was 98.3%, including 200 males and 203 females. The collected data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, independent-sample T test, one-way ANOVA, confirmatory factor analysis, structural equation modeling and led to the following conclusions. 1. The customers of the Wonder Garden Restaurant can feel the high service quality, present the good satisfaction feedback, and the customer loyalty is relatively high. 2. Service quality to customer satisfaction and customer loyalty presents positive effect. 3. Customer satisfaction to customer loyalty presents positive effect. In addition, this research discovered that the customer satisfaction has the partial intermediary effect on the service quality and the customer loyalty. Ultimately, according to the result of the study, the suggestions are made to provide the Wonder Garden Restaurant or related restaurant business for future management implications.

The Government actively to promote the tourism industry, thriving in Taiwan B & B, and B & B B & B operators to develop due to various different environmental resources and provide visitor accommodation services are also different, resulting in a variety of B & B style. B & B regardless of what kind of style, B & B industry in the leisure industry in the future occupy an indispensable position, the motive for this study. This study focused on the screen in Northern homestays and to assess the potential of smoked vanilla Leisure Farm Park for the study. Through depth interviews to interviews with B & B operators, experts and local authorities and staff to industry, government and academic future of the three angles. The main research aims to: 1.Understand the characteristics necessary for homestays. 2.The B & B business management experience and potential assessment. 3.The study smoked about the B & B''s Leisure Farm Park, vanilla and operating characteristics of the potential assessments. For the screen potential of the North region homestays assessment, to explore through this study by industry, government, academia interview data compilation sets out the following conclusions: 1.B & B development is diverse and varied, and establish attractive features and style, will be the B & B business is a major issue. 2.Not a lot of development in the mountains rich in resources, the country''s first national road cycling is the largest screen north of the regional development potential. 3.The development of Kaoru''s Park Bed and Breakfast has its potential in the operator''s personal characteristics, source of stable, functional good employees,the centripetal force on display are farm B & B''s potential for development.

Starting from 1981, the head of Ilan is developing toward political strategy of environmental protecting、sightseeing、culture、technology, etc., simultaneously, placing developed key on sightseeing industry, therefore, caused vigorous development of Ilan Area sightseeing industry, and combined with newly rising industry of country landscaping、recreational activities and providing food and beverage-garden restaurant, under such favorable environment, expanded at such beautiful and clean land since from seven or eight years ago to mushroom like bamboo shoots after a spring rain. The garden restaurant, which is close to nature as a subject, providing food and beverage to tourist, simultaneously perfectly using ambient environment, so that the tourist seems placing himself in nature country, far away from big city hubbub、get rid of big city noise of disturbance. However, after the super highway between Taipei and Ilan having transport services, as if a straw connected Taipei and Ilan, shortened the distance between Taipei and Ilan, largely cut down the drive, nevertheless, under such variation of time and space, to Ilan, her mainly political strategy is to develop tourism for a long time, what kind of influence will affect Ilan after the super highway between Taipei and Ilan having transportation service? What kind of influence will garden restaurant face under such traffic variation in addition to convenience of Ilan traffic、rewrite Ilan area traffic history and promote Ilan becoming the activity scope of Taipei one day circle, simultaneously, what kind of strategy will the dealer make under such circumstance, so that may deal with variation of environment, and grow up continuously, create good merit? Those will be the subject to be probed into of this study. Through collection and arrangement of documents and data to develop certain interview questions, further to proceed interview to the garden restaurant dealer of Ilan area. Finally under five strength analyses and SWOT analysis, this study will bring up the following two strategies according to this interview result, for the dealer's reference. I. Improve constitution strategy i. Break through one’s characteristic, distinguish the difference place ii. Same trade alliance, promote industry quality iii. Different trade alliance, increase exposure rate of restaurant iv. Apply for setting up signboard legally II. Innovation leap strategy i. Adjust administration way ii. Broaden the scope of cooperation object iii. SPQR, constitute the road of future development iv. Enforce the recreational、educational function of restaurant v. As the outside dining market in Taiwan is getting bigger, chain operators and independent operators in food and beverage are aggressively trying to seize the commercial opportunities. Although the market of the food and beverage industry in Taiwan increased, not all the chain operators and the independent operators can get the interest stably. In recent years, not only the historic stores but also the new stores are dropped out of the food and beverage market because of the fierce competition. Sally Garden Home Kitchen is a Thai independent restaurant. Due to the differences in the chioce of the location, the pursuit of the taste, the oritation of the price and the strategies of marketing from other restaurants, it has been running successfully for six years in Rende Dist., Tainan City. All these factors makes Sally Garden Home Kitchen worthwhile to be a model of other restaurants. The mainly purpose of this research is to study the motivation of creating the business in Sally Garden Home Kitchen and the key factors of its success. Moreover, the research is also trying to find out the connection between the domestic culture of the operator. The research is based on the methods of qualitative research : In-depth Interview and Content Analysis. It is examined by analyzing the interview of the operator, the feedback notes of the customers and the blogs of the bloggers. The research finds three facts below: (1) the motivation of creating the business: longing for hometown, culture sharing, the support of mother and spouse (2) the key factors of success : the taste of the dishes, the quality of service, the atmosphere of the surrounding, passing on of the culture and caring the feeling of the customers(3) culture of diet and creative ideas: combining Thai cuisine quintessences – sauce and spice with local ingredient in Taiwan and experiencing the culture of Thai cuisine by the way of creative diet.

This study aimed to investigate the effects between leisure farms’ recreation involvement, leisure involvement, place attachment and revisiting intentions. We collected the children who have been to Hsun Chih Yuan Natural Garden Restaurant as the objects of the study by using convenience sample. Within the total 523 questionnaires were distributed and 503 valid samples were gathered giving an effective return rate of 96.2%. T-test, One-way ANOVA, Person product-moment correlation coefficient and Path Analysis were applied for data analysis. The empirical findings of this study are as follows: The data show significant variances among leisure farms’ recreation involvement, leisure involvement, place attachment and revisiting intentions. Four demographic variables: father’s education level, mother’s education level, father’s occupation and mother’s education are main factors contributing to such variances. Leisure farms’ recreation involvement to leisure involvement, leisure farms’ recreation involvement to place attachment, leisure involvement to place attachment and leisure involvement to the revisiting intentions are all positively correlated. The reasons affect children’s revisiting intentions come from leisure farms’ recreation involvement, leisure involvement and place attachment. This study made suggestions from the research results for the leisure farms to know children’s leisure farms’ recreation involvement, leisure involvement, place attachment and revisiting intentions.

Choosing leisure farm by field trip so popularly in recent years, hoping to combine education and recreation experience reuses, promoting learning achievement of student effectively. In order to understand the learning achievement that students and teachers have field trip in the leisure farm, our research’s object are faculties and students who join outdoor teaching and focus on recreation experience reuse、field trip、learning achievement. The textual study case-The Case Study of Hsun Chih Yuan Natural Garden Restaurant in Pingtung County had accepted some guidance by Pingtung county government. It is the first leisure farm to be build in north Pingtung zone. After through literature analysis, questionnaire method, in-depth interviews, and field observation. I found this case study has a rich cultural heritage. To achieve the creation of high-quality cultural living space in the future, and in order to reach the sustainable development goal of resource integration platform capabilities, study sample is field trip’s teachers and students whom are taken part leisure farm behind October, 2016 until April, 2017. Questionnaire method adopts Purposive sampling, the data valid questionnaire were analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, Analysis of Variance ANOVA and Pearson Product-Moment Correlation. The case looks forward to understand by the study. The main findings of this study are as follows: First, there is only part of students from various backgrounds that showed significant differences in the dimension of satisfaction of the service quality of Hsun Chih Yuan Natural Garden Restaurant. Second, there is only part of students from various backgrounds that showed significant differences in the dimension of satisfaction of recreation experience reuse of Hsun Chih Yuan Natural Garden Restaurant. Third, there is only part of students from various backgrounds that showed significant differences in the dimension of learning result in participating outdoor teaching to Hsun Chih Yuan Natural Garden Restaurant. Fourth, the recreation experience reuse of elementary school students is positive correlated to the service quality of Hsun Chih Yuan Natural Garden Restaurant. Fifth, the recreation experience reuse of elementary school students is positive correlated to the learning results in outdoor teaching. Sixth, the service quality of Hsun Chih Yuan Natrual Garden Restaurant is positive correlated to the learning results in outdoor teaching. Finally, recommendations are presented according to the results of this study, and as references for schools, teachers, leisure farm and future research.
