Анотація:
Constant developments of technology and increases in labor costs are the two major reasons for the creation and continuous evolvement of technology-based self services. Consumers' technology readiness should be taken into account in predicting the perception and behavior of potential consumers towards Self Service Technologies. An empirical study of consumers' readiness to use technology based self-services was undertaken in Greece. A survey instrument was developed to investigate the relationship between technology readiness, attitude, perceived ease of use, usefulness and consumers readiness towards adoption of Self Service Technologies. The results showed that population's technology readiness, the attitude of potential consumers towards and perceived usefulness of Self Service Technologies, are the factors that mostly affect their final success, since they define the level of readiness towards these services on behalf of potential consumers.

In order to avoid the subjectivity and limitation of advancement degree of difficulty evaluating method based on lists, a visualizing method which applies the visualization technology in advancement degree of difficulty computing process is proposed. This method takes the improved technology readiness level assessing result of the technology to be assessed as the input of the visualizing process, and visualizes the readiness status of the technology to a two-dimension coordinate graph. The area which denotes the advancement degree of difficulty of the technology developing from one readiness level to a higher readiness level is shown in the coordinate graph. A computing formula is established to get the advancement degree of difficulty of the technology. The experimental results show that the proposed visualizing method can get the difficulty degree of the technology developing from one readiness level to another readiness level objectively and accurately.

The global call to improve the quality of healthcare, and the restructuring of job descriptions require nurses to return to school to attain the necessary qualifications. Some nursing degree completing programs available in Uganda provide blended learning which combines the traditional classroom and online learning. However, learning online requires students to be equipped with readiness competences which include computer/internet and online communication self-efficacy, self-directed learning, time management, study habits, and institutional support from peers and instructors. This quantitative arm of the study explored the self-efficacy of the readiness competences of the 226 nursing students in the degree completion programs and the predictors of readiness to learn online. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze the data. Slightly over half of the students (58%) were ready to learn online. The finding indicates a moderate level of readiness where to attain readiness category required at least 76% of the students to be ready to learn online. The students reported a high level of readiness in self-directed learning, time management, study habits, and institutional support but lower readiness levels in online communication and computer/internet self-efficacy. All competences were significantly correlated and predicted readiness, suggesting their interdependence in contributing to readiness to learn online. Computer and online communication self-efficacy were the strongest predictors of readiness to learn online, whereas self-directed learning and institutional support were the weakest. The Readiness to Learn Online Model (RLOM) predicted 88% of the readiness and therefore presumed to be very good in assessing online learning readiness. The findings necessitate the institutions to assess students before they enter the online programs and to provide resources, training and continuously persuade them to improve their self-efficacy.

Undergraduate education is emerging as a direct pathway into the previously deemed ‘accidental profession’ of project management. We introduce the concept of graduate work readiness and explore whether undergraduate project management degrees are imparting industry-required work-readiness attributes. Documentary analysis of 12 Australian bachelor’s degree programs identified that many (but not all) of the work-ready attributes taught are consistent with those sought by industry. The results revealed that graduates’ work-readiness profiles vary according to university employer reputation. The findings suggest the need for a more industry-consultative approach to the way universities prepare their graduates for the project-based workplace.

Emerging adult from Arabic-Muslim families, have fulfilled expectations of their families to married immediately. Marriage readiness are needed to evaluate the degree of readiness into marriage life The aim of this study is to explore marriages readiness of emerging adult in Arabic culture. Data were collected from 118 women between 18 – 25 years old. Most of participants have high degree of marriage readiness. In addition, most of participants have greater readiness based on several criteria: moral, contextual-social, and marital-life skilsl. The other hands, participants evaluated their readiness quite well on financial and emotional criteria. The results indicate that social-cultural, religion, and emotional maturity factors became basic evaluation of marriage readiness in emerging adult.

Abstract We use detailed administrative data from Kentucky to provide robust descriptive evidence on the relationship between the General Educational Development (GED) degree, college readiness, and early post-secondary (PSE) academic performance. Following previous work in this area, we address selection issues by focusing on a sample of students who are identified as at-risk prior to high school entry. Our results suggest the GED credential is not a credible signal of PSE readiness, particularly in mathematics. GED graduates attain a lower first semester GPA and are also less likely to re-enroll in second semester courses. We also find that changes made to the GED exam in 2014 to enhance student readiness in PSE institutions did not yield meaningful improvements. Finally, we investigate the extent to which differences in math coursework can explain estimated GED-related math readiness gaps, finding coursework to account for about for about 40 percent of the observed gap.

It was observed in five cultivars and two hybrids of Lilium that premeiotic prophase is retarded in anthers approaching meiosis. The occurrence of premeiotic despiralization was related to the degree of retardation of premeiotic prophase. It is proposed that meiosis is initiated by stimuli arising outside the premeiotic cells. It is suggested that an accumulation of meiosis-inducing substances in the cytoplasm of the premeiotic cells causes prophase to slow down; when a critical level ("meiosis readiness") is reached, mitotic division is no longer possible and cells in premeiotic prophase despiralize to interphase.Key words: meiotic prophase, Lilium, meiotic readiness, premeiotic despiralization.

This paper investigates the readiness degree among in-service science teachers in Ma'an Governorate for integratingaugmented reality in teaching according to Technological, Pedagogical and Content Knowledge TPACK frameworkand its domains. The study sample consisted of (60) in-service science teachers enrolled voluntary in the study. Theresearcher used descriptive statistics, ANCOVA and T-test. The data analyses revealed significant differences amongteachers' readiness in a high degree. Paired sample t-test showed female teachers' readiness higher than male teachersat all of the TPACK the domains. Results of ANCOVA revealed that experience of teachers' readiness do not differsignificantly. The study recommended the focus on integrating augmented reality within learning environments.

In view of the difficult economic and epidemiological situation in the country, the question arises of an unbalanced diet of the population and an overabundance of low-quality food ingredients and additives on the consumption market. The studies represent the experience of processing products of the meat industry, in particular chopped semi-finished products of a high degree of readiness from beef, pork and various compositions of the latter. Since with an excessive amount of fat, the daily diet of the Ukrainian population suffers greatly due to the lack of high-quality, easily digestible animal protein. It is the excess of fats with easily digestible carbohydrates that leads to the rejuvenation of diseases such as obesity, varicose veins, heart attacks and strokes. A review of the market for raw meat is made, the main methods of increasing the nutritional value of chopped semi-finished products of a high degree of readiness from meat are outlined. The advantages of using vegetable oils with partial replacement of animal fats, ways of improving the introduction of liquid vegetable oils through the use of structured stabilization systems based on compositions of a polysaccharide nature, namely sodium alginate, carraginans, which in turn are bound by calcium residues, enriching the composition of products are also easily digestible, bound by calcium. The object of research: the technology of production of minced semi-finished products of a high degree of readiness from meat, a system for stabilization of minced semi-finished products from meat. Investigated problem: obtaining a stable dispersion system inside chopped semi-finished products of a high degree of readiness from meat by introducing stabilizing ingredients into the technology. Main scientific results: the optimal concentrations of replacing animal fats with vegetable ones have been revealed. It is shown that the introduction of vegetable fats as a part of structured emulsion systems as part of chopped semi-finished products of a high degree of readiness from meat helps to reduce technological losses during heat treatment from 60 to 5 %. The area of practical use of the research results: enterprises of the restaurant industry and the food industry, specializing in the manufacture of minced semi-finished products of a high degree of readiness from meat. An innovative technological product: a technology for the production of chopped semi-finished products of a high degree of readiness from meat using structured emulsion systems as part of structured emulsion systems, which makes it possible to stabilize the technological process of introducing flowing vegetable oils by emulsifying and structuring. Scope of application of the innovative technological product: the production of chopped semi-finished products of a high degree of readiness from meat is possible at factories for processing raw meat, in the field of restaurant industry, private small industries that specialize in frozen semi-finished products of a high degree of readiness.

Based on the analysis of modern literature, the paper clarifies the concepts of readiness and readiness for professional activity. The considered concepts made it possible to identify criteria for technical university students readiness for future professional activity. The formulated criteria made it possible to determine students readiness indicators for future professional activities. A rating assessment of the students mathematical competence and the gross scientific product of the university were selected as indicators of readiness. The choice of these indicators is justified using statistical data of the Samara Region: gross regional product and the ratio of the selected industry wage to the average wage. The demand for technical university graduates labor is a function of the real wage rate. The results of the correlation analysis prove that the technical university graduates readiness for professional activity has a significant effect on the regional economic development degree, which affects the degree of social-economic development. The study was conducted on the basis of Samara State Technical University. The work presents pedagogical conditions for the organization of the educational process for the development of technical university students readiness for professional activity. The obtained materials can be used as the basis for further refinement of students readiness indicators for professional activities and in the content of the training.

The IT departments must have green IT readiness to control emissions from data centres and selecting equipments of low power consumption. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the factors affecting green IT readiness. A questionnaire of developed to evaluate green IT readiness from the perspective of the IT staff. The questionnaire divided into two parts. The first part is for demographic information and general questions. The second part for green IT dimensions; technology, practice, policy, governance, and attitude. The data collected from 401 respondents. The results showed that the factors; technology, practice, attitude, and maintenance have an agree degree of agreement, while the factors; policy, governance, and green IT readiness have neutral degree of agreement. The governance has the highest correlation and influence on green IT readiness. The study recommends organizations, to setup strategies for implementing green IT as short-term solutions, and the government needs new laws and policies to implement green IT as a long-term solution.

Recent efforts to increase workplace readiness in university students have largely centred on undergraduates, with comparatively few strategies or studies focusing on higher research degree candidates. In the discipline of music, a wide diversity of possible career paths combined with rapidly changing career opportunities makes workplace readiness a moving target. Drawing on qualitative and quantitative data from semi-structured interviews, dialogue forums, an online survey and pre-existing literature, this paper explores perceptions of higher degree research (HDR) music students about their work readiness, and critically examines these perceptions against graduate capabilities frameworks. It recommends ways to better prepare HDR music students for life beyond their studies, advocating in particular a more collaborative model of research education than is currently the norm. The findings may help improve the student experience and graduate outcomes among HDR students, both in music and more broadly.

This study compares prevention program registries in current use on their level of support for users seeking to implement evidence-based programs. Despite the importance of registries as intermediaries between researchers and the public, and although previous studies have examined how registries define their standards for methodological soundness and evidence of efficacy, little research has focused on the degree to which registries consider programs’ dissemination readiness. The result is that registry users are uncertain whether listed programs and their necessary support materials are even available for implementation. This study evaluates 11 publicly and privately funded prevention registries that review the evidence base of programs seeking to improve child health and prosocial outcomes on the degree to which they use dissemination readiness as an evidentiary criterion for rating programs, and the extent and type of information they provide about dissemination readiness to support real-world implementation. The results show wide variability, with few having standards about dissemination readiness or making evidence-based information about interventions easily accessible to users. Findings indicate the need for registries to (1) do more to assess dissemination readiness before including programs on their website and (2) offer more complete information on dissemination readiness and implementation support to users.

Objectives: The main purpose of this study was to explore the longitudinal effects of maternal parenting stress, mother-child interaction activities, maternal parenting behaviors, and preschoolers' school readiness on children's academic ability at school entry in early childhood.Methods: This study used data from the seventh (T1) and eighth (T2) wave (2014ㅡ2015) of the Panel Study on Korean Children. The participants of this study were 942 between 6 and 7-year-old children and their mothers. Data analysis was performed using structural equation modeling.Results: First, the relationship between maternal parenting stress and children's academic ability at school admission was sequentially mediated by mother-child interaction activities and preschoolers' school readiness. The higher the maternal parenting stress, the lower the mother-child interaction activities, and the lower the mother-child interaction activities, the lower the degree of preschoolers' school readiness. The poor degree of preschoolers' school readiness was related to the children's low academic ability at school entry. Second, the relationship between maternal parenting stress and children's academic ability at school entry was sequentially mediated by parenting behaviors and preschoolers' school readiness. The higher the maternal parenting stress, the less positive maternal parenting behaviors were, and the less positive maternal parenting behaviors were, the lower the level of preschoolers' school readiness, and the lower the children's academic performance at school entry.Conclusion: This study indicated that maternal parenting stress, mother-child interaction activities, maternal parenting behaviors, and preschoolers' school readiness in early childhood influenced firstgrade children's academic performance.

The transition of all Russian universities to distant learning at the end of March, 2020 revealed a number of organizational and pedagogical problems associated with identifying the readiness of university teachers and students for a new form of interaction. The purpose of the study is to determine the degree of readiness of the subjects of the educational process for the implementation of distant learning at the level of legal regulation, pedagogical qualifcations and pedagogical interaction. The research hypothesis is based on the assumption that pedagogical interaction in the course of distant learning has special properties that make increased demands on the professional qualifcations of university teachers, as well as on the competencies of both subjects of the educational process.The article analyses the degree of elaboration of the issue of pedagogical interaction in the legal and scientifc literature. The results of the empirical study conducted in order to identify the degree of readiness of university teachers and students to use distance learning are described and analysed. Recommendations are suggested to improve the quality of distant learning and the degree of satisfaction of participants in pedagogical interaction.

The widespread acceptance of Web Technology in our tertiary institutions has brought about changes in the style, quantity and variety ofresources that are made available to students. Fundamentally new learning environment is provided f or students. On the other hand, there is still question about student readiness in using the abundant resources made available to them on the Web. This study examines students' readiness in using web-based resources. Variables that were look ed into are demographic background, level of technology usage, level of computer resour ces usage and their perspective on technology. 294 qu estionnaires were distribut ed randomly to degr ee engineering students (electrical, mechanical and civil). Based on students' ability on using web-based resources, result obtainedfrom quantitative data showe d there was a significant difference between student from different semesters (F = 4.032, P = 0.000) and their accommodation (t =7.255 and p = 0.007). Results ofthe Pearson correlation analysis revealed that there was a fair degree ofrelationship between students' ability and students' attitude on web-based resources (r = 0.310, P = 0.000)

The article presents the results of the study of psychological readiness to maternity of reproductive-age women, the analysis of its relationship with their socio-psychological set and the semantics of the maternity discourse. The sampling included 47 reproductive-age women, with 16 having a child and 31 childless. The study has revealed that actual maternity has a non-liner relationship with a socio-psychological set aligned with a traditional model of “care”. There are certain differences in group attitudes according to the criteria with focus on individualism, labor, power and money, process and activity results. The study revealed the correlation between psychological readiness to maternity and the semantics of the concepts of “mother”, “child”, “happy woman”, “modern woman”, “seeing oneself in five years”. The semantic assessment of a “mother” concept of women with a low degree of psychological readiness to maternity is more in line with traditional requirements to maternity. The semantics of a subjective view of their future was more optimistic in the group of women with a marked degree of psychological readiness to maternity.

This study aims to investigate the relationship between amateur football players’ mental readiness and difficulty in dealing with the level of emotion regulation. The study group consisted of 219 volunteer male athletes who actively played amateur league football in Bingol, Turkey during the 2018-2019 season. Along with a consideration of various demographic variables, the “Mental Readiness Scale” and the “Difficulty in Emotion Regulation Scale” have been used in this study. SPSS packaged software has been utilized for data analysis purposes. Descriptive statistics, Pearson Correlation and the One-Way ANOVA test have been utilized in the data analysis. According to the findings, a negative relationship has been determined between mental readiness and difficulty in emotion regulation on the part of the amateur football players. Furthermore, a statistically significant difference has been found between the variable of the football playing year and the total degree of mental readiness, mental preparation, cool-headedness and goals sub-dimensions (p< .05). Moreover, another statistically significant difference has been determined between the variable working period with the current coach and the total degree of mental readiness, mental preparation and cool-headedness sub-dimensions. As a consequence, the results suggest that as the mental readiness levels of the amateur players taking part in the study increase, the difficulty they experience in emotion regulation decreases. Additionally, it has been found out that as the football playing year and working period with the current coach increases, the athletes’ mental readiness levels go up, and the level of difficulty with regard to emotion regulation decreases.

This article discusses the quantitative characteristics of the features of the mental activity of students with different psychological readiness for innovation. The study involved 100 students of 2-4 bachelor's and 1-2 master's courses studying at the Faculty of "Agro-industrial" of DSTU, aged from 17 to 27 years (M=21.6, SD=4.4 (76.4% men), studying at different levels of education (bachelor's degree – 66.8% (M=19.8, SD=1.6, 54.8% men), master's degree – 34.2% (M=22.6, SD=3.5, 53.5% men). The following methods were used: The questionnaire "Psychological readiness for innovation" (V. E. Klochko, O. M. Krasnoryadtseva); The method of measuring the style of thinking (A. K. Belousova); The questionnaire "Determining the type of thinking and the level of creativity" according to the method of J. Bruner; The questionnaire "Individual styles of thinking" (A. Alekseeva, L. Gromova); statistical methods. The study established the style and typological characteristics of students with different levels of psychological readiness for innovation, and also found that styles and types of thinking, as well as creativity affect the level of readiness for innovation. The prospects of the research are aimed at further studying the factors and predictors of readiness for innovation and developing recommendations for teachers to form universal competencies among students.

Abstract. This study examined the relationship between the secondary constructs of Holland's (1997) theory of vocational interests and career choice readiness (career maturity) attitudes with 358 Swiss secondary students. The hypothesis was tested that the secondary constructs consistency, coherence, differentiation, and congruence are measures for the degree of vocational interest development. Thus, they should belong to the content domain in career choice readiness and should show meaningful relations to career-choice readiness attitudes. The hypothesis was confirmed for congruence, coherence, and differentiation. Interest-profile consistency showed no relation to career-choice readiness attitudes. Vocational identity emerged as a direct measure for career-choice readiness attitudes. Realism of career aspirations was related to career-choice readiness attitudes and coherence of career aspirations. Profile elevation was positively connected to more career planning and career exploration. Differences between gender, ethnicity, and school-types are presented. Implications for career counseling and assessment practice are discussed.

Florida’s College and Career Readiness Initiative (FCCRI) required schools to administer a community college placement test to 11th-grade students and enroll students who did not pass in a college readiness course. Christine Mokher, James Rosenbaum, Alexis Gable, Caitlin Ahearn, and Louis Jacobson surveyed teachers of the course and found that, from their perspective, the initiative overemphasized preparation for college degree programs and provided few options for lower-performing students. The use of the college placement test effectively conflated college and career readiness, leaving work-bound students unmotivated and discouraged. The authors recommend broadening the definition of readiness to include both college and careers and to raise the profile of certificate programs that could lead to well-paid careers without requiring a placement test.

Due to the advancement of information and communications technology, most of the businesses and services have transformed into an e-businesses and e-services. The organizations are facing a great deal of pressure from regulators to move toward green IT. The aim of this article is to evaluate the factors affecting on green IT readiness from the perspective of IT users, a questionnaire designed for this purpose. The questionnaire divided into two parts, the first part for demographics information, and the second part contains 34 statements divided into 6 factors. There are 460 respondents to the questionnaire. The results of the data analysis showed that the factors, technology and attitude have an agreed degree of agreement, while the practice, policy, governance, and green IT readiness have a neutral degree of agreement. The governance factor has the highest effect on green IT readiness. The article recommends the ministries of electricity must be increasing the awareness for green IT as part of their awareness for power consumption saving.

Background: Hospitals, especially their emergency departments, are among the first health systems affected by accidents and disasters. Because of its nature and obligation to provide the highest quality services, this department should have protocols for coordination and interaction with other departments and be fully prepared in critical situations. This study aims to evaluate the disaster preparedness of the Emergency Department of Shahid Motahari Hospital in Isfahan Province, Iran. Materials and Methods: This research is an applied descriptive study conducted in Shahid Motahari Hospital in Fooladshahr City, Isfahan Province, Iran. The study data were collected using the Persian version of the World Health Organization’s Hospital Emergency Response Checklist completed through interview and document analysis. The checklist consists of 90 items and 9 domains, including command and control (7 items), communications (9 items), safety and security (11 items), triage (10 items), surge capacity (13 items), continuity of essential services (8 items), human resources (15 items), logistics and supply management (10 items) and post-disaster recovery (7 items). The obtained data were analyzed in SPSS using descriptive statistics over 4 months. Results: The disaster preparedness of the Emergency Department of the Hospital was poor in the human resources domain and good in the communication domain. Conclusion: The disaster preparedness of the study hospital is at a moderate level. Planning and implementation of practical measures such as holding crisis management courses, establishing a crisis management team, estimating necessary resources, changing the structure, providing human resources for more accurate control and ease of service delivery, maintaining and rapid repairing of equipment, timely triage, and retrofitting hospitals can play an effective role in improving the disaster preparedness of the study emergency department.

Objective: To examine the factors impacting postgraduate year 1 (PGY1) residents’ self-perceived readiness for residency. Methods: A total of 1801 residents who matched in American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP)-accredited PGY1 programs were e-mailed individualized invitations to take an online survey. The survey collected self-ratings of readiness for residency training competencies including time management and organization, foundational knowledge, clinical practice, project management, and communication. Key Findings: Data from 556 completed surveys were analyzed. Residents agreed they were ready to perform activities requiring time management and organization (median = 4, mean = 4.08), foundational knowledge (median = 4, mean = 3.83), clinical practice (median = 4, mean = 3.67), and communication (median = 4, mean = 4.05). Residents who completed at least 1 academic advance pharmacy practice experience (APPE), 5 clinical APPEs, or held a bachelors degree felt more confident than their counterparts in regard to project management ( P < .001, <.001, and .01, respectively). Conclusion: PGY1 residents generally felt prepared for time management and organization, foundational knowledge, and communication residency training competencies. This was significant for those who completed 1 or more academic APPEs, 5 or more clinical rotations, or a bachelors degree. Study results may assist pharmacy schools in preparing students for residency training, prospective resident applicants in becoming more competitive candidates for residency programs, and residency program directors in resident selection.

Purpose The evaluation of readiness provides insight into the readiness of its individual components for successful accomplishment of tasks. This study aims to evaluate readiness in leagility of supply chains based on the design and analysis of fuzzy cognitive maps (FCM) and interpretive structural modeling (ISM). Design/methodology/approach On the basis of the purpose of this study, data are gathered via the Delphi method. Moreover, FCM and ISM are also used to evaluate readiness. Findings Findings initially demonstrate a categorization of factors influencing leagility into static and dynamic variables according to the degree of their influence derived from the resultant behavior of FCM and ISM. It is also found that evaluating readiness in leagility of supply chains with ISM and FCM was done with respect to the type and role of the study variables, which were determined within the minimum and maximum ranges of 20 to 100 per cent, respectively. Originality/value The evaluation of the readiness using the FCM and ISM is proved to be more efficient than other classical methods. Experimental results of the study contribute to improve readiness of leagility of supply chain as well as develop functional areas of business.

This paper reviews the literature on digital divide and e-readiness in different fields with an eye to identifying trends and gaps in prominent research areas. In this study, 411 articles, conference papers, master’s and doctoral dissertations, textbooks, and working papers on digital divide and e-readiness are classified and elaborated and their results are presented. Drawing upon this literature review and analysis of digital divide and e-readiness, several important research areas surrounding digital divide and e-readiness are discussed and examined from a critical standpoint. In the paper, a comprehensive list of references is presented and, to the best of the authors’ knowledge, this is the most complete study of digital divide and e-readiness, even in the field of IT, in terms of its references. This paper reviews the literature on the digital divide and e-readiness from three perspectives with the purpose of identifying trends and gaps in this field: definition, methodology and scale. This review reveals that most modelers do not take sound theoretical and policy concerns into consideration, rather they tend to provide an empirical summarized measure for digitalization. Also, they develop digital divide and e-readiness models by building static composite indexes from individual indicators and tend to apply dynamic models to a lesser degree. Finally, there is a lack of research in the micro level vis-à-vis macro level that the authors attempt to compensate for.

Students' self-efficacy beliefs could be improved as long as one has a clear idea about the sources of self-efficacy beliefs. Students enable them to grow as self-efficient individuals and overcome problems they face in educational stages or their future life if provided with the opportunity and training on self-efficacy beliefs. Hence, this paper describes the level of efficacy and degree of college readiness of senior high students of a Diocesan Catholic School in Antique during the School Year 2019-2020. Likewise, it explores the significant difference between students’ demographics, self-efficacy, and college readiness. Moreover, it determines the correlation between self-efficacy and college readiness of the students; and whether self-efficacy influenced college readiness.

This study aims to measure the degree of readiness of the individual to intention to use internet banking on PT Bank Mandiri Surabaya. Approach with Technology Readiness index, have four variables that can measure the level readiness that is Optimism, innovativeness, discomfort, and insecurity. This research is quantitative research with 100 respondents who conduct financial transaction. The data were analyzed using structural equation model (SEM) variants based, that is Partial Least Square (PLS) with SmartPLS 2.0 program. The result of analysis found that two construct of technology readiness positive effect to intention to use internet banking that is Optimism dan Innovativeness, but the result of Innovativeness found had no impact to intention to use internet banking. While construct Discomfort dan Insecurity had negative effect to intention to use internet banking, but surprisingly construct insecurity found had impact to intention to use internet banking.

AbstractBackgroundTo avoid possible failures and ineffective use of economic resources, necessary infrastructure must be provided before implementing new technologies in a developing country like Iran.ObjectivesTo assess the degree of readiness for implementing a radio frequency identification device (RFID) system in hospitals in Iran.MethodsWe adopted a descriptive design and structural equation modeling (LISREL statistical software package) to analyze data collected from the hospitals affiliated with the Semnan University of Medical Sciences. All managers, physicians, residents, nurses, and staff members of the medical records and information technology sectors participated in this study. A questionnaire was designed by the investigators to collect ideas from the participants about organizational readiness, cultural readiness, and human resource readiness in implementing RFID.ResultsWe found a significant positive correlation between the variables studied. Human resource readiness significantly predicted RFID implementation, with cultural readiness playing the role of a mediator variable. Cultural readiness itself was influenced by organizational readiness (P < 0.01). We found 0.346 (standard deviation: 0.374) changes in an arbitrary unit of the possibility of RFID implementation was attributed to human resources and cultural readiness.ConclusionsPaying attention to cultural factors, which play an important role in implementing technological projects such as RFID in developing countries like Iran, can reduce the risk of failure. Hospitals should strengthen organizational factors and improve the support of top rank managers when implementing technological projects. By so doing, they will promote cultural readiness, prepare human resources, and win the cooperation of personnel for such projects.

The study aimed at designing the readiness scale of learning to read and write for first grade students when they entered school, and to reveal the impact of the scale in the development of their abilities and the degree of readiness to learn to read and write. The sample of the study consisted of (64) male and female pupils from the first-grade students in Dar Al Arqam Islamic Model School in Gaza. The questions and its vocabulary were constructed in the light of readiness skills for learning to read and write. The scale consisted of (30) questions divided into (5) skills: (visual discrimination, auditory recall, auditory discrimination, auditory recall, auditory interpretation). It was applied to the research sample, the researchers found that there were statistically significant differences at the mean level (α = 0.05) in the average readiness to learn literacy between males and females in favor of females. The researchers recommended the need to hold training courses for teachers of kindergarten to deal with the skills necessary for reading and writing readiness.

The digital economy implies a structural transformation in many industries, including the energy sector, without taking into account the state specifics of the industry, for which full-fledged digitalization can be harmful. The aim of the study is to develop a methodology and determine the readiness of countries for digitalization in the electric power industry, taking into account all the main industry groups of factors. The paper analyzes the concept of “energy transition” and defines the indices that are applied to assess this transition at the global level. A system of indices is proposed to determine the degree of readiness for a digital transition in the electric power industry as one of the components of the “energy transition” and the most possible scenario for the transformation of this industry in Russia. The analysis of key areas of digital energy development is presented. The degree of readiness of the leading 100 countries in terms of GDP for digitalization in the electric power industry according to the proposed methodology has been calculated, and the further direction of basic research in this direction has been indicated. Conclusions have been drawn on the appropriateness of developing state programs and the main directions to which DM decision should be drawn with due desire to digitize the industry have been highlighted.

Summary A lack of communities’ readiness for change is reported as a major barrier toward an effective implementation of health promoting interventions in community settings. Adding an alternative readiness assessment approach to existing research practice, this study aimed to investigate how a selected community could be evaluated in-depth regarding its readiness for change based on multiple key informant perspectives, with the intention of using this knowledge for the preparation of improved local physical activity (PA) interventions for men above 50 years of age. We conducted semi-structured face-to-face key informant interviews with stakeholders and relevant persons from a local German community (N = 15). The interview guide was based on a comprehensive summary of community readiness dimensions. After verbatim transcription, we conducted thematic analysis to synthesize the complex results regarding community readiness related to PA. The data supported that the community disposed of a variety of resources regarding PA and showed signs of readiness for change. However, a certain degree of saturation regarding PA programs existed. The need for health enhancing PA interventions for men was only partly recognized. The local authority considered PA to be particularly important in the context of mobility and traffic safety. Including multiple stakeholders contributed to a balanced and in-depth assessment of community readiness and was helpful for determining starting points for tailored PA interventions due to the detection of complex relationships and structures. The study delivers preliminary evidence that a qualitative multi-perspective community readiness assessment adds value to quantified single-perspective readiness assessment research practice.

Objective of the study: This article has two objectives, first to analyze how is the degree of e-Readiness on micro, small and medium enterprises (eRLMSMEs) of the state of Guanajuato, in Mexico, influenced by the technological preparation of human capital, ICT accessibility, the empowerment granted to human capital, the size and sector. The second objective is to analyze, by size and sector, which are the most relevant variables considered by the owners or managers in their e-Readiness (ER).Methodology/approach: With a sample of 182 MSMEs, a quantitative, descriptive, correlational, discriminant and linear regression analysis was performed, using the Ordinary Least Squares Method (OLS).Originality/Relevance: The study is relevant because it addresses the influence of human capital empowerment, e-Readiness and access to ICTs by companies in the ER of MSMEs, deepening the analysis by sector, industry, trade and services, and by size of micro, small and medium enterprises.Main results: It was determined that all the independent variables are relevant to explain eRLMSMEs. By size, the Human Capital e-Readiness, ICT Accessibility, and Human Capital Empowerment variables are significant only for small enterprises, whereas ER of human capital substantially influences industries, commercial and service companies.Theoretical/methodological contributions: This research goes deeper into the variables that influence the degree of e-Readiness on MSMEs in Mexico, considering the influence of the size and sector in their technological preparation.Social/management contributions: The ICT are considered a necessary technological innovation for the development of MSMEs, as well as the other variables dealt with in this research, which promote changes in the context of the adoption of technological innovation.

Access to school counseling services leads to access to college-readiness counseling initiatives, including science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education–focused counseling for students. School counselor caseload and percentage of time spent on college-readiness counseling were analyzed in relation to longitudinal STEM postsecondary outcomes of students in a nationally representative sample. Access to school counselors who spend 21% or more of their time on college-readiness counseling predicted persistence and attainment of a STEM postsecondary degree. The current results offer implications for school counselors, counselor educators, and future researchers, including the need for STEM self-efficacy interventions, unbiased curriculum, and professional development on STEM counseling for school counselors; and the call for a more nuanced understanding of this topic.

The article presents the results of the study of the University professor’s readiness to work with students with disabilities. The readiness of the University professors to work in the system of inclusive education considered by the authors as a complex integrative professional and personal formation. It consists of three interrelated components: cognitive, affective and behavioral. Behavioral is one of the conditions for the success of teaching students with disabilities in high school. In other words, the effective professional activity of a University professor is facilitated by the knowledge of the students’ personality and their health features, positive attitude, acceptance and experience of interaction with them. In the framework of the study, 119 university professors of Russia, Belarus and Poland surveyed. The results allowed to determine the degree of readiness of University professors to work with students with disabilities and, as a result, demonstrated the need for developmental correction of each of the three components of this readiness.
