Повний текст джерелаThe collection of Noticias in Spain from 1637 to 1642: the manuscript 9402 of the national library of Madrid, Noticias de Madrid y fuera (1637-1642). This anonymous text presents a long series of events that occurred in Madrid (the court and the city) and enumerates the information received there concerning events in Europe and the East Indies over a period of six years. This work is divided in three large parts. The first presents a description of the manuscript and the transcription of the text; it is accompanied by textual or explanatory notes. The second part studies the morphology, the style and the syntax. The third part presents a comparative study between the studied text and the contemporary texts (jesuit letters, avisos de pellicer). The index placed at the end of the work is the opportunity to begin a prosopography for each of the characters mentioned in the manuscript

Повний текст джерелаThis study entitled, "Society as a subject for a novel". The convergence of elements of Naturalism in the novels of Zola, Clarín, Pérez Galdós and Emilia Pardo Bazán, endeavours to analyze the influence of the author of the Rougon-Macquart series on his fellow spanish authors. The Second Empire and the Spanish Restoration period will be shown to have been at the forefront of the literary scene. In Zola's works and those of the spanish naturalist writers, the middle class and the working class will express the economic and social changes in each country and in modern society. In their novels, Zola and the spanish naturalists manage to depict the society in which they lived from a literary point of view through the use of naturalist description, free indirect speech and everyday language. Both physiological or sociological determinism will play their part in the creation of Zola's Characters and those of the Spanish naturalists. However Galdós, Clarín and doña Emilia Pardo Bazán will never portray their characters in the same primitive way as Zola. Finally, spanish naturalism will soon develop into a form of spiritualism that is more characteristic of the French literature of the second half of the nineteenth century, the period which heralded the Decadent movement
Cornejo, Manuel. "Madrid dans le théâtre de Lope de Vega : contribution à l'étude de la représentation de la ville dans la "Comedia" espagnole au Siècle d'Or." Paris 10, 2004. http://www.theses.fr/2004PA100117.
Повний текст джерелаThis study approaches forty plays by Lope de Vega which have 16th and 17th centuries' Madrid as their scenery. Beyond the misconceptions caused by positivistic readings of the plays, on one side, and those caused by moralizing views on the other, the purpose of this research is to analyze the dramatic functions of urban space in those plays. The Court plays an indirect role in the unfolding of the plots of the capa y espada plays, namely in the parallel between monuments and characters, in the complicity of open spaces in love affairs, and in the interaction of interior and exterior spaces. Urban spaces contribute to the rising of an ethics based upon the poetics of the heart by the inversion of the image of the city, which becomes a place of corruption and greed. Such an image of Madrid as a city is idealized and stands well apart from the dangers of the real city. The city is represented as a bucollic scenery, a forest, or a sea of love on which the characters of the plays set sail

Повний текст джерелаJ. Zorrilla is a Spanish poet who declared himself assigned by God with a moral and patriotic mission and contrived legends written in verse from 1837 to 1845 ; they are set in Spain between the 9th century and 1715. In 1884 he had a collection published which included thirteen of these legends entitled Leyendas Tradicionales. Claiming the heritage of the poetry of troubadours J. Zorrilla's narratives take root in spanish medieval culture. Yet he also integrated elements from the poetry of the Golden Age and of the romantic era. J. Zorrilla's writings aimed at obtaining his father's forgiveness, as he didn't share his admiration for Carlism and got no recognition from him for being a writer. Torn between several periods (the Middle Ages, the Golden Age and the 19th century), between two political ideals (Carlism and Liberalism) and two poetical approaches (the Gaya Cienca and Romanticism), J. Zorrilla became an ambiguous and original poet who greatly influenced generations of writers
