Повний текст джерелаThis thesis presents a phenomenological approach to controlled learning of a foreign language in face to face oral interaction. Such an approach endeavours to demonstrate how this type of learning requires intercultural continuity between the customary primary socio-cultural framework of the learners and that of the foreign language and culture. In addition, it attempts to prove that this learning method is based fundamentally on an intentional and more or less synchronised dynamic of two or more words which cannot be evaluated separately. From this stems an analysis model which illustrates the connection between the different indicators of these common words, in particular communicative body language, and compensatory resources and the linguistic treatment which allows there to be continuity between languages and cultures by maintaining and developing the thread of the conversation. In the same way, using a corpus of two series of role plays recorded on video in beginners’ classes of French as a Foreign Language, this thesis makes a series of observations concerning, and offers an analysis of, the model which has been developed. This analysis leads on to some specific didactic suggestions in terms of evaluation and correction, whilst reinforcing the idea of an essential adaptation to real time through a practical approach to transformed oral interaction or role plays which should be improvised to the greatest possible extent
Gagnon, Justine. "Nitshissituten : mémoire et continuité culturelle des Pessamiulnuat en territoires inondés." Doctoral thesis, Université Laval, 2019. http://hdl.handle.net/20.500.11794/34006.
Повний текст джерелаBeginning in the 1950s, the Innu community of Pessamit saw its ancestral land radically transformed by the intrusion of the hydroelectric industry on several of its major rivers. Culminating with the erection of the well-known Manic-5 dam on the Manicouagan River in the late 1960s, this flourishing period for Québec's economy and its political affirmation contributed to the highly symbolic character to these infrastructures. However, for the Pessamiulnuat (the Innus of Pessamit), this industrial endeavor has first and foremost brought about the end of a way of life relying largely on navigation, along with the disappearance of vast hunting grounds, cultural sites, portage trails, etc. In the absence of any archaeological surveys preceding the floods, what remains of this geocultural heritage are the memories of those who navigated the rivers before their transformation. This research project explores the now intangible nature of this flooded heritage, as well as the ways to preserve and enhance it, a posteriori. Drawing on the singular relationship linking memory to places and trajectories, it seems relevant to question the various paths memory – and the remembering process – take when those geographical bearings disappear or become inaccessible. In other words, how can the awakening of memories deeply intertwined with places and landscapes take place when these geographical features no longer exist in their tangible form? Furthermore, is there something that can be transmitted beyond historical and cultural disruptions, so that the memory of a place can be maintained, without necessarily having lived or been there? Is it even relevant to ensure a form of continuity for these past geographies? Based on participatory action research principles, this project relied on a variety of tools that promoted a deep collaboration with the Innu Council of Pessamit, while providing tangible benefits to the community members. In addition to semi-directed interviews that have been conducted with the Pessamiulnuat, participatory mapping activities were used, whereas the creation of an exhibition at the Ka Mamuitunanut Community Center served as a strategy for disseminating and validating preliminary results. Following the trails of memories shared by those who navigated the rivers before they were harnessed, this dissertation highlights the specificities of a « daily practice » heritage, deeply rooted in a navigational culture. It demonstrates that the remembering process, as part of geographical knowledge acquisition, renders its components alive and sustainable, even long after the places they refer to have disappeared. This dissertation also addresses the scope and opportunities recent advances in cultural and critical cartography may offer to support the remembering process, as well as to represent its visual components. Furthermore, it focuses on commemorative strategies that can reveal the spirit of places which have been drastically transformed. In fact, the research outcomes served as a starting point for very concrete knowledge mobilization initiatives and heritage preservation activities, aiming to provide this intangible patrimony a spatial inscription, guaranteeing greater visibility. The design of an informative platform (belvedere) allowed us to question the categories and assumptions promoted by heritage management institutions, revealing the need for the Pessamiulnuat to turn this largely transformed heritage into a living, inhabited and used space in the present time. These observations lay the foundations for a critical reflection on the role of memory in the construction and documentation of the past, along with cultural continuity, which are at the foundation of Aboriginal rights recognition in Canada. This dissertation thus provides analytical keys that are often overlooked in order to grasp the tensions underlying this recognition, be it the reductive opposition between tangible and intangible heritage, or the persistent tension between writing and oral traditions. Since proof of land use and Indigenous cultural affirmation strategies are at the heart of the negotiations and land claims led by the Innu communities of Quebec, the enhancement of such an invisibilized geocultural heritage is key. For memory work is ultimately a question of justice. Keywords: Flooded landscapes; intangible heritage; Indigenous lands; Innus of Pessamit; hydroelectric development; place of memory; cultural continuity; spatial justice; mapping.

Повний текст джерелаThe restoration of the ecological continuity of streams has lately become an iconic policy in France. Its implementation is regulated by ambitious national guidelines mixing water quality issues with biodiversity conservation. The action gives priority to a shift in management which relies on dam removal to create a river ecological network, and thereby a local environment change. This thesis aims at understanding the socio-spatial perception of that ecological-based public action through qualitative methods (documentary research, semi-structured interviews…). One feature of the research draws on a geo-historical approach that makes it possible to put into perspective the issues underscored by the projects implementation. In this respect, it has been decided to investigate two study cases in Brittany (West of France). The change of policy to restore ecological continuity is examined in its structural and substantial dimensions so as to understand its adaptations. Besides, by giving a primacy to the dynamics of conflicts, the analysis of some users' practices and representations highlights the rivers spaces appropriations. It also contributes to determining the differences of opinion between the participants of the projects. Beyond conflicts, the results also illustrate the local lack of legitimacy and socialefficiency of such an ambitious but experimental environmental policy to restore ecological continuity, that is yet to be constructed in both its ecological and social features

Повний текст джерелаOur research is based on the ACE-ArithmÉcole (Arithmetic and Comprehension at Elementary School) project. The aim of this research is to build a curriculum for mathematics at 1st grade. We focus our study on how this curriculum is elaborated, particularly on the unit entitled “Situations”, that includes lessons on quantities. This unit has been built within a cooperative didactic engineering process, by a team comprising researchers and teachers of the experimental group. Our study is grounded in the theoretical framework developed within the comparative approach of didactics, notably the Joint Action Theory in Didactics. In order to conduct our theoretical analyses, we refer to the following set of notions: learning games, system of capacities, the contract-milieu dialectics and the expression-reticence dialectics. The analysis work is divided into three parts. First, we examine the engineering dialogue between the research team and the experimental teachers. This part aims at showing the importance of the students' continuity of experience through the systems that represent numbers. Second, we study how the research team modifies the unit texts after this dialogue, and how these texts impact the progress of didactic time. We highlight the progressive building of a reciprocal representation game. So as to tackle comparisons between numbers and the notion of difference, a constant back and forth between concrete and abstract representations is needed. These analyses aim at showing how representations are essential to didactic continuity, through a representation translating game all along the curriculum. So, we show how resources in mathematics within the framework of a cooperative work researchers / teachers can be designed. Then, we articulate the two parts with a fine study of effective lessons, implemented according to the unit texts. These lessons are conducted by two trainee teachers and by the class teacher, who is a member of the research team. We demonstrate how the students’ continuity of experience is built, through joint actions, by the use of representation systems. This continuity is necessary to a true mathematical experience for the students. We particularly identify some teaching gestures that are necessary to build this continuity through the use of representation systems
Xing, Jinduo. "Business continuity of energy systems : a quantitative framework for dynamic assessment and optimization." Thesis, Université Paris-Saclay (ComUE), 2019. http://www.theses.fr/2019SACLC087.
Повний текст джерелаBusiness continuity management is a comprehensive framework to prevent the disruptive events from impacting the business operations, quickly recovering business and reducing the corresponding potential damages for energy system, such as nuclear power plants (NPPs). This dissertation provides discussions on the following aspects: developing appropriate risk assessment methods in order to integrate condition monitoring data and inspection data for a robust and real-time risk profile updating and prognostics. To account for the uncertainty of condition monitoring data, a hidden Markov gaussian mixture model is developed to model the condition monitoring data. A Bayesian network is applied to integrate the two data sources. For improving applicability of business continuity in practice, time-variant variables regard business continuity index, e.g. component degradation, time-dependent revenue, etc are taken into consideration in the business continuity modelling process. Based on the proposed business continuity index, a joint optimization method considering all the safety measures in event evolvement process including prevention stage, mitigation stage, emergency stage and recovery stage is developed to enhance system business continuity under limited resources. The proposed methodologies are applied to NPP against disruptive event
Maintaining insect pollinators in farmland is essential for ensuring the pollination of crops and wild plants. This partly relies on the increase of floral resource availability. Mass flowering crops (MFC) provide a high amount of resources, but on a short period of time contrary to grasslands or weeds sheltered in fields. This temporal aspect is rarely studied, although it might be crucial in the maintenance of pollinators and insect pollination over the season. The aim of the thesis is to understand how the spatial and temporal distribution of the floral resources in farmland influence plant-pollinator interactions and pollination. Our results indicate that MFC at their peak flowering period, attract wild pollinators from grasslands and the honeybee; thus, supporting the pollination function. Within MFC, the honeybee preferentially consumes floral resources provided by crops, and may exclude wild pollinators from crop flowers which therefore foraged on weeds. After MFC flowering, pollinator insects spillover to grasslands and cereals which support pollination. Weeds, through their diversity in grasslands, and through their abundance in cereals support wild pollinators at this time period. The persistence of pollinators and pollination in farmland landscapes is based on (i) the maintenance of grasslands and weeds that ensure the spatio-temporal continuity of floral resources, (ii) MFC that supplement the landscapes in floral resources, and (iii) the reduction of field size that facilitates the access to the floral resources. Such measures appear to be compatible with crop production

Повний текст джерелаThis PhD aims to enlighten knowledge on urban wastelands, defined as abandoned and temporary lots within urban areas that are not included into immediate planning project, allowing spontaneous vegetation to develop. Our goal is to characterize urban wastelands’ biodiversity in order to understand their role as natural spaces in the city and more specifically, with the accession of sustainable development, in ecological continuity preservation policies, including the “Trame Verte et Bleue” tool (TVB). Given that our research is an urban study, it is necessary to consider wastelands within the urban geographical area. From an ecological point of view, linking ecological dynamics with urban characteristics allows to understand their intrinsic ecological value, and their potential role in TVB. To understand this role, it is also necessary to embrace how these spaces are considered in urban planning and conservation policies. Finally, the results of this wastelands’ multidisciplinary characterization focus on the development of tools to improve wastelands’ inclusion in environmental policies
Danna, Charlotte. "Le principe de solidarité écologique." Thesis, Lyon, 2018. http://www.theses.fr/2018LYSE2070.
Повний текст джерелаAdopted by article 2 from act nr 2016-1087 concerning the reconquest of biodiversity, nature and landscape of August 8th 2016, the principle of ecological solidarity calls “for taking into consideration the interactions of ecosystems, living creatures and natural or developed environments in all public decisions having a notable impact on the environment of the territories concerned”.This general principle of environmental law inscribed in article L110 1 of the environmental code is designed to preserve the interactions of ecosystems and ecological processes as well as to improve the environmental management of the territories. The duality of its objective renders it a highly valuable principle which should be applied to numerous decisions. Various supranational foundations, within jurisprudence and in international and European laws, can thus be assigned to it. In the context of ecological interdependence the evolution of the international and European dimension of the principle remains essential in order to see the benefits concerning the safeguarding of biodiversity. It is greatly enhanced, as regards internal law, by the fact that it is at the very center of the environment's equilibrium. It justifies the right to a balanced environment and extends the constitutional principles of prevention and sustainable development. Confronted with the crisis of world-wide biodiversity extinction that threatens our survival, the principle of ecological solidarity emerges as the last chance to preserve it. Two major groups of systems allow us to measure the dynamics of the principle of ecological solidarity: the green and the blue line belt network and the Ocean and coastline Governance Framework. They constitute a basis on which to develop ecological solidarity and represent the beginnings of new legislation. The principle of ecological solidarity requires them to be reinforced and more generally to advance all decisions concerned by the principle

Повний текст джерелаAll nurses must maintain their knowledge and skills up to date. However, in the current context, due to lack of nurses, continuing education represents a great challenge for nurses. Therefore e-learning seems to have a great potential to take over this challenge. A qualitative study based on the critical incidents method was meant to describe clinical nursing experiences (n=4) after an e-learning course on patient teaching. This 45 hours long course was led on a competency based approach. Individual interviews allowed us to document the use of their acquired knowledge in different clinical contexts. The results reveal that nurses (n=4) acquired different resources (knowledge, skills) that they used in clinical patient teaching. According to the results, discussion forums about clinical cases and a learning project in real clinical context turned out to be useful educational strategies to sustain professional nursing skills. Finally, e-learning based on the competency-based approach reveals itself as an educational strategy of great promise. Key words: e-learning, continuing education, educational strategies, competency based approach
