Die Verabschiedung der EU-Richtlinie zum Urheberrecht und verwandter Schutzrechte im digitalen Binnenmarkt – im Besonderen des Artikels 17 (vormals Artikel 13) – stellt sich für Betreiber von Content-Plattformen als eine neue und hochkomplexe Herausforderung dar. In der Diskussion rund um die Verabschiedung dieser Vorschrift und den damit einhergehenden Protesten wird klar, dass trotz der zahlreichen Berichte in der Realität nur wenig konkretes Wissen über das System Upload-Filter, seine tatsächlichen Auswirkungen und die dahinterliegende Technologie existiert.Grundsätzlich versteht man unter dem Begriff Upload-Filter eine Form von Software, welche (teil-) automatisiert entscheidet, ob eine bestimme Art von Content zu Verfügung gestellt wird oder nicht. Dabei ist es zunächst irrelevant, ob es sich um Text-, Audio-, Video- oder sonstige Arten von Inhalten handelt. Sie dienen also dazu zu filtern, welcher Content vom Plattformbetreiber gewünscht oder nicht gewünscht ist.

This thesis discusses the responsibility of content owners who re-upload videos on social media networks. This thesis is motivated by the large number of re-uploaders making content creators nervous because a content creator has made a video with great effort. Many YouTubers have appealed to "against" re-uploaders by not watching their videos, but even with the appeal there are still many actors who re-upload them in cyberspace. The formulation of the problem in this thesis is about How Law No.28 of 2014 concerning Copyright regulates re-uploading of video content networked by social media and How is the responsibility of content creators who re-uploaders to the original owner of content networked by social media. This type of research is library research which then collects and studies data that comes from books, literature, scientific journals, legal documents related to the object of research. The results of this study explain that the perpetrator's responsibility to deactivate the account is as done by the perpetrator of a fatal re-upload as was done by the Malik Tube Youtube channel which uploaded all the contents of the Dalang Pelo channel. Because there were many negative comments and received a warning from Youtube, the content was finally deactivated permanently. The conclusion of this thesis is that regarding the responsibility of content creators who are proven to re-upload at this time only apologies to their personal social media, and delete the content from their accounts and even deactivate the account forever.

This study aim to find out how to map Instagram account information content in college libraries in Indonesia. This research method uses quantitative descriptive methods. The results of research from 100 universities in Indonesia, colleges who upload the most are Syiah Kuala University with 2283 uploads, Hasanudin University with 1192 uploads, then Lampung University with 883 uploads, Gadjah Mada University 705, and also the University of Indonesia with 604 total uploads. Of the five indicators on the use of Instagram by the library, the most uploaded indicator is the indicator showing surroundings and collection with the number of uploads 8063 or (69.48%), the indicator publishes events with the number of uploads 2908 or (25.06%), the indicator shows the process with 633 uploads or ( 5.45%), the indicator shows the history of the library with 22 uploads (0.08%), and finally the indicator interacts with users with 10 uploads (0.08%).

The I\O file system Read\Write operations are considered the most significant characteristics. Where, many researchers focus on their works on how to decrease the response time of I\O file system read\write operations. However, most articles concentrate on how to read\write content of the file in parallelism manner. Here in this paper, the author considers the parallelizing Read\Write whole file bytes not only its contents. A case study has been applied in order to make the idea more clear. It talks about two techniques of uploading\downloading files via Web Service. The first one is a traditional way where the files uploaded and downloaded serially. While the second one is uploaded\ downloaded files using Java thread in order to simulate parallelism technique. Java Netbeans 8.0.2 have been used as a programming environment to implement the Download\Upload files through Web Services. Validation results are also presented via using Mat-lab platform as benchmarks. The visualized figures of validation results are clearly clarifying that the second technique shows better response time in comparison to the traditional way.

This article reports the concept of digital library (DL) with its definitions, concept, generic architecture, ethics and librarianship related to DL. DLs are created by Library professionals, publishers, Government initiatives, societies and other higher educational institutions. There are different types of files and file formats are created and stored on DL. For uploading the files, the copyright / IPR issues are involved. As one cannot upload directly someone's file without the permission of that person. In information communication technology (ICT) environment, the Internet and web enables everyone to have access to the e-contents available from anywhere at any time. Due to this, DL creators cannot take it granted to upload them and make them available online. The IPR issues in digital environment plays a key role for identifying and taking permissions from the respective authors / publishers / content creators to upload the digital content. DL and IPR issues are discussed with the digital rights issues.

Purpose This study examined meta-data, source, type of informational content, understandability, and actionability of YouTube content related to speech and/or language disorders. Method The 100 most widely viewed videos related to children with speech and/or language disorders were obtained. Meta-data and sources of each upload were identified. Type of informational content within the videos was analyzed. The Patient Education Material Assessment Tool for Audiovisual Materials was used to assess understandability and actionability. Results A significant difference between video source groups was found for length of video, thumbs-up, and thumbs-down, but not for number of views. The YouTube videos related to speech and/or language disorders covered a range of issues, although a majority of the content focused on signs/symptoms and treatment. Videos had close-to-adequate understandability (i.e. 68%), although poor actionability scores (i.e. 32%) were noted. Videos uploaded by professionals were superior to other upload sources in understandability, but no difference was noted between video source for actionability. Conclusions Study insights about meta-data, source, type of informational content, understandability, and actionability of YouTube videos may help professionals understand the nature of online content related to speech and/or language disorders. Study implications and recommendations for further research are discussed.

Purpose The current study examines metadata, upload source, type of informational content, understandability, and actionability of YouTube videos related to vocal health. Method A search for videos related to vocal health in YouTube was completed. Metadata (i.e., number of views, video length, thumbs-up, thumbs-down), upload source (i.e., consumer, professional, media), and type of informational content were identified. The Patient Education Material Assessment Tool for Audiovisual Materials was used to assess understandability and actionability of the 100 most frequently viewed videos. Results A total of 166 videos were obtained. The collective number of views was 19,799,299. A significant difference between video source groups was found for number of views and thumbs-down, but not for video length or thumbs-up. The YouTube videos were primarily educational, and a majority of the content focused on tips and techniques for professional voice users. Videos had adequate understandability (i.e., 71.5%) and actionability scores (i.e., 74%). Videos uploaded by consumers were superior to professional sources in actionability, but no difference was noted between video source for understandability. Conclusions Study insights about metadata, source, type of informational content, understandability, and actionability of YouTube videos may help professionals understand the nature of online content related to vocal health. Study implications and recommendations for further research are discussed.

Beauty companies Skin Dewi and Scarlett use social media Facebook to promote their products and to interact with consumers. This article examines and discusses how beauty brands use social media, especially Facebook, to increase brand awareness and brand loyalty with viral marketing theory. This study took 159 samples taken by purposive sampling technique. Of the two brands, uploading content about products is the type of upload that is most uploaded. However, the product promotion technique that is often used looks different, Scarlett uses a giveaway technique, while Skin Dewi uses another technique. The two brands also did not specify a specific time to upload their promotions. In terms of engagement, there is a significant difference between the Scarlett and Skin Dewi brands. Brand Scarlett tends to have good and stable engagement, while Skin Dewi has poor engagement.

Objective – To ascertain the coverage by discipline, publication date, publication language, and upload frequency of the scholarly articles found in Google Scholar. Design – Comparative content analyses. Setting – Electronic information resources accessible via the internet (both freely accessible and for-fee databases). Subjects – Forty-seven online databases and Google Scholar. Methods – The study compared the content of 47 databases (21 Internet resources freely available to the general public; 26 restricted-access databases) covering a variety of subjects with the content of Google Scholar. Each database was assigned to one of the following discipline categories: business, education, humanities, science and medicine, social science, and multidisciplinary. From April through July 2005, researchers generated random samples of 50 article titles from each of the 47 databases and searched the titles on Google Scholar to determine inclusion. Related studies were conducted for publication date and publication language analysis, and for the Google Scholar upload frequency study. For the publication date study, random samples from one database (PsycINFO) with a high degree of variability in Google Scholar coverage were searched for 1990, 2000, and 2004. For the publication language study, Google Scholar coverage of PsycINFO articles in English was compared to coverage of PsycINFO articles published in non-English languages. For the upload frequency study, two databases chosen for their high degree of coverage (BioMed Central and PubMed) were monitored to determine how often the new content was uploaded to Google Scholar. Main Results – This study revealed that content covered by Google Scholar varies greatly from database to database and from discipline to discipline. Of the 47 databases studied, coverage ranged from 6% to 100%. Mean and median values of coverage for all databases were both 60%. The mean discipline category scores varied from the humanities databases at 10% coverage, to the social sciences and education at 39% and 41% respectively, to science and medicine databases at 76% coverage. Mean coverage was 77% for the multidisciplinary databases. Mean coverage of open access journal databases was 95%, freely accessible databases had 84% mean coverage, and single publisher databases had 83% mean coverage. The publication language study found a bias towards English language publications. As well, a publication date bias was found – coverage of earlier dates was not as thorough as coverage of more recent publications. In the upload frequency study, for BioMed Central and PubMed there appears to be an approximately 15-week delay in the uploading of new material to Google Scholar. Conclusions – The results of this study serve to alert researchers and information professionals that Google Scholar (in beta test mode at the time of the study) has poor coverage in certain areas. To those with access to commercial databases, this serves as a cautionary tale. To those with a dearth of commercial databases, Google Scholar is a welcome site and can provide at least some information. The researchers state that the search engine itself could make future content studies unnecessary if it decides to make its content collection methodology transparent to users. Upload frequency, Google Scholar’s linking services, the advanced search option, and the “cited by” feature could all be subjects of future studies. For its first year in operation, Google Scholar offers a broad range of discipline coverage with substantial depth in some areas. At the time of the study, Google Scholar was working with libraries and vendors to connect search results to library-licensed full text.

Abstract Objectives The Houston Methodist Pathology training program encourages trainee participation in quality improvement (QI) projects for improving the didactics experience. One of these initiatives is RecutClub, a whole slide imaging (WSI) web-based platform for presenting surgical pathology unknown conference cases. With the evolving nature of pathology didactics in an ever-changing world where remote work plays an increasingly important role, several refinements were needed to ensure that the platform could continue to provide an unparalleled WSI experience for incoming trainees. Additionally, the burden of updating site content needed to be distributed from the site administrators to the end-users. Methods RecutClub is operated through Google Cloud via a Google App Engine instance. It connects to Google Cloud Databases to store persistent tabular data and Google Cloud Storage for pyramidal JPEG files used to display whole slide images in a web-browser. In the next generation platform (RecutClub 2.0), the largest change was to migrate case uploading from a developer-controlled solution to a decentralized, trainee-driven web portal. To ensure a superior user experience, the entire site as well as the upload form was migrated to Bootstrap 4. An AJAX-native, asynchronous uploader was built to interface the existing Google Cloud platform to a new upload portal that allows authorized trainees to build cases from scratch. Additionally, a tagging solution was implemented to allow for server-side persistent storage of trainee-selected cases, such as “interesting” cases or cases for further review. This tagging complements the existing region of interest (ROI) and case search functionalities. Results The deployment of RecutClub 2.0 involved multiple rounds of resident-led testing and feedback. Several regular testers offered ongoing user feedback and suggestions for visual layout and usability. The response from the general trainee population after deployment was overwhelming positive, with many trainees commenting on the “improved” visual aesthetics as well as the convenience of the upload functionality. Administrator involvement in case-upload time decreased from 2 hours/month to 0 hours/month due to enabling trainee-driven uploading. Conclusions The deployment of RecutClub 2.0 fulfilled the dual primary objectives of enabling straightforward trainee-led content updates, as well as decreasing administrator involvement in case-upload time. These and other changes ensure that RecutClub can continue to provide an unparalleled WSI experience for pathology trainees at Houston Methodist, while also providing fresh content in a landscape with several competing WSI platforms.

Objective: Our objective was to evaluate the accuracy and reliability of YouTube videos about penile doppler ultrasonography (PDU), a diagnostic tool for erectile dysfunction. Material and Methods: Videos on YouTube were searched using the term “Penile Doppler Ultrasonography”. The most related 48 videos were included in to study. For each video, uploader type (physician, patient, or YouTuber), target group (physicians or non-physicians), video duration, upload date, daily view count, the total number of views, and the number of likes and comments were recorded. The reliability and quality of the content of these videos included in the study were evaluated using JAMA, DISCERN, and GQS scores. Results: The physicians uploaded all of the videos used in the study. It was shown that 27 (56%) of the videos were prepared for physicians, and the remaining videos were prepared for non-physicians. All the videos had general information about the PDU, 32 (67%) videos gave theoretical information, and 23 (48%) videos gave information about the application of the PDU. When the videos were examined according to the target group, it was shown that the videos prepared for physicians had a longer duration (p=,001) but had a lower number of comments and views (p=,012 and p=.046, respectively). In addition, when the video content quality and reliability were examined, the average JAMA score was 2.5, the GQS score was 3.44, and the DISCERN score was 52.2. It was found that the quality and reliability scores were statistically higher in the videos prepared for physicians (p<0.05). Conclusion: As a source of knowledge about health care, YouTube is frequently used by doctors and other people (including patients). High-quality information is very important for both physicians and individual patients. In this study, we showed that videos uploaded by physicians had reliable content, but these high-quality videos had longer duration and lower view count. In order to improve the quality of PDU-related videos, physicians should upload high-quality videos, and YouTube algorithms should direct patients to high-quality videos. Příspěvek na příkladu YouTube jako typické upload-platformy zkoumá dvě cesty nabízené článkem 17 DSM směrnice, jak zachovat soulad sdílení uživatelského obsahu s právem duševního vlastnictví za podmínek nového režimu odpovědnosti upload-platforem. Jedno z nabízených východisek v důsledku vede k zavedení systémů automatizovaného rozpoznávání obsahu. Nástroj Content ID vyvinutý YouTube má předpoklady stát se určujícím pro stanovení standardu, který musí takové systémy splňovat. Proto lze na jeho příkladu hodnotit, zda je cesta filtrování obsahu vhodná pro spravedlivé vyvážení rozličných zájmů zúčastněných subjektů. V příspěvku bude seznáno, že nástroje automatického rozpoznávání obsahu jsou problematické, a bude diskutována německá cesta imple- mentace, která kreativně využívá druhou možnost, tedy získání svolení nositelů práv, pro zavedení nové výjimky. Závěrem bude nastíněn význam německé výjimky pro budoucí efektivní licencování děl za podmínek odstavců 1 a 2 článku 17 DSM směrnice formou zákonné licence.

Objectives: The objectives of the study were to examine the usefulness and content of YouTube videos regarding additional oral hygiene practices that need to be taken during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. Materials and Methods: A search of YouTube videos was performed using the terms “oral health,” “dental hygiene,” “oral health child” and “dental hygiene child” in combination with “COVID-19”. When analyzing each video, the descriptive characteristics such as title, country of origin, date of upload, duration of the video, the number of views, comments, likes, and dislikes were recorded. The quality of the videos were assessed through indices: Video ınformation and quality ındex (VIQI), modified DISCERN, and global quality score (GQS). The content quality score of the videos was examined. Results: The majority of the analyzed videos were uploaded by health-care professionals (67%). About 40% of the videos were slightly useful, and 6% were useful. There was no statistically significant correlation between the source of upload and GQS, VIQI, total content, or modified DISCERN scores (P > 0.05). Highly-watched videos appeared to have a higher total content, VIQI, Modified DISCERN, and GQI scores than poorly-watched videos, but this difference was not statistically significant (P > 0.05). Conclusion: YouTube videos related to oral hygiene practices during COVID-19 pandemic were a limited source for children. Oral health-care professionals and organizations should play an active important role for providing educative oral hygiene-related information on YouTube videos.

Instagram platform is used as a media of promoting alcoholic beverages because of its low cost and rapid dissemination of information. However, uploading alcoholic beverage content is against the law because alcoholic beverages cannot be promoted in the mass media, including social media. This study aims to determine how the platform has responsibilities. This research was conducted using a normative juridical approach, that the research was conducted by conducting research through the literature as the main research material. Based on the research conducted, it was found that the legal liability of the Electronic System Operator for the Private Scope of the Instagram Platform is very limited if there is an upload of content that violates the provisions, so that sanctions that can be imposed to suppress the upload of illegal content must be applied to business actors as users of the electronic system.

Objective To evaluate the educational value of YouTube as a learning tool for dental students regarding endodontic access cavity preparation. Methods and findings YouTube search was made for videos related to endodontic access cavity preparation using specific terms. After exclusions, 41 videos were chosen and assessed for tooth type, video length, days since upload, country of origin, number of views and likes, source of authorship, and viewing rate. To grade the content of videos, a usefulness score with seven elements was developed. Each element was given a score of 0 or 1. Statistical tests were run by using Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney tests (SPSS Inc, Chicago, IL, USA) at a 5% significance level. The videos received a mean of 181198.5 views with a mean duration of 686.1 seconds. The mean number of “likes” was 1047.8. Almost half of the videos covered content related to molar teeth. Most videos were provided by health care professionals with almost 50% uploaded from India. The mean usefulness score was 4.29 (range: 1–7) and the most discussed elements were description, instruments used, access cavity demonstration, and evaluation criteria. About a quarter of the videos were classified as good, while 46.3% as moderate and 29.3% as poor. Among the content usefulness categories, no difference was found in the video demographics (p>0.05) except “days since upload” (p = 0.018) in which good quality videos were found to have the highest median. Moreover, although insignificant, good videos were found to have the longest duration and lowest number of views, likes, and viewing rate. The mean usefulness score of videos released during the COVID-19 pandemic was lower than that for pre-pandemic videos (p = 0.042), and videos uploaded by academic institutions had a higher mean usefulness score than videos uploaded by health care professionals (p<0.001). Conclusions Information on endodontic access cavity preparation is not comprehensive in most of the reviewed YouTube videos and could be of low educational value.

<p>International sports events can be utilized by the host city or region to form destination branding. Social media become the important tools for branding activities. This article aims to analyze the social media, focus on Instagram usage in Mandalika destination branding through the 2021 World Superbike (WSBK) sports event. WSBK 2021 become the first world-class race event held in Mandalika, and there are a number of other negative issues ahead of WSBK 2021. This research uses a qualitative method with primary data is interviews with representatives from the Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC). Research results shows ITDC use Instagram @itdc_id as the main platform to promote Mandalika to form destination branding. The theme of content uploaded on @itdc_id are about tourist attractions in Mandalika and information about circuit readiness. ITDC regulates Instagram uploads for weekdays are spots that can be used for sports activities, while for weekends information about WSBK races, for example regarding circuit readiness or rules for spectators. During the series of race days, ITDC didn't even upload content related to the races in order to avoid copyright issues. Based on secondary data from observation towards ITDC’s Instagram posted and Google Trends analytics shows the internet user pay lower attention to the sport tourism theme. Internet users more interested in race-related information. </p>

The phenomenon of preaching message content on Instagram is currently a process of changing the use of media in conveying religious messages to the public. Where the use of preaching media previously was more manual (pulpit and recitation forums) in a limited context and only carried out by certain people. However, with the development of information and communication technology today, the use of dakwah media is more modern, able to reach more mad'u and can be done by anyone, especially the younger generation. This research wants to answer about how the use of Instagram among students in West Aceh Regency? This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach, the research data is collected through a process of observation, questionnaires, and in-depth interviews. The results showed, of the 55 respondents studied answered, the use of Instagram is still at the level to show self-existence with personal identity motives. Where uploads on student Instagram accounts in West Aceh are still dominant with personal content. Although they rarely upload da'wah content, some have never even accessed it at all, they often access it on other accounts, accompanied by giving likes on the content. Most of the student Instagram accounts in West Aceh District are linked to other social media accounts, such as Facebook and Twitter. This makes it easy for users to create automatic posts between Instagram and other social media accounts.

This study aims to investigate the content and usefulness of YouTube videos on** thumb-sucking habits. Methods: YouTube was systematically searched for all relevant videos on thumb sucking using primary keywords, such as thumb, finger, and digit sucking. Video information was assessed, such as the type of video, number of likes or dislikes, number of views, and duration of upload. The usefulness of videos was analyzed, and information about treatment modalities was evaluated. Results: A total of 331 YouTube videos (314 educational offerings and 17 testimonials) were included in the analysis. Individual users uploaded (36.6%), followed by healthcare professionals (30.5%). Only 4.83% of the videos were classified as having “very useful” general information content, whereas 51.1% were rated as “slightly useful.” There was no significant correlation between the usefulness score and the interaction rate, video length, or viewing rate. The videos advised a psychosocial approach and mechanical or reminder therapy in 32.33% and 25.07% of videos, respectively. Preventive methods accounted for 7.26%, and chemical treatments were discussed in 5.44% of the videos. Conclusion: Information on YouTube about thumb-sucking habits was unsatisfactory and should be improved by oral healthcare professionals and organizations.

This study examines whether gender is a key factor when producing and uploading audio-visual content to this social network. The research has been carried out using content analysis methodology applied to a sample of 300 videos uploaded to YouTube by adolescents aged 11-17 years, which were collected and analysed during the state of emergency in Spain (13 March – 21 June of 2020) as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Contents uploaded by these YouTubers are amusing, and their topics differ significantly depending on the author’s gender. Boys focus mainly on playing games, while the range of topics among girls is more diverse. There are no significant differences in the way both genders approach the topic of COVID-19. Channels oriented toward girls are protected from comments their followers might make about them, whereas boys are more exposed to members of the public who view their audio-visual productions.

In the past few years, there have been tremendous interest in the peer-to-peer(P2P) content delivery. This communication paradigm dramatically increases the traffic over inter-ISP links. In particular, BitTorrent(BT), the most popular P2P application, generates a huge amount of traffic on the Internet. BitTorrent’s performance is limited by the fact that typical internet users have much lower upload bandwidths than download bandwidths. This results in the overall average download speed of a BitTorrent-like file download system to be bottle-necked by the much lower upload capacity. We think about to utilize idle users’ spare upload capacity to largely improve the download speed beyond what can be achieved in a conventional BitTorrent network. In this paper, we design a system that is completely compatible with the already existing clients who conform to the BitTorrent protocol, at the same time, we analyze this system’s steady-state performance and present simulation results.

The video sharing performance is a key factor for scalability and quality of service of P2P VoD systems in wireless mobile networks. There are some impact factors for the video sharing performance, such as available upload bandwidth, resource distribution in overlay networks, and mobility of mobile nodes. In this paper, we firstly model user behaviors: joining, playback, and departure for the content-oriented community-based VoD systems in wireless mobile networks and construct a resource assignment model by the analysis of transition of node state: suspend, wait, and playback. We analyze the influence of the above three factors: upload bandwidth, startup delay, and resource distribution for the sharing performance and QoS of systems. We further propose the improved resource sharing strategies from the perspectives of community architecture, resource distribution, and data transmission for the systems. Extensive tests show how the improved strategies achieve much better performance results in comparison with original strategies.

The Internet has allowed digital media users to be more than just consumers of political information, allowing the chance to create their own online political content. Thus, users can now create personal blogs, post comments on others’ blogs, contribute with citizen news, and upload their videos about current events and public affairs. Drawing from sociological and psychological frameworks, this study explores the socio-demographic and psychological characteristics of online political content creators and the effects of this behavior for the political and civic spheres. A survey of U.S. adults reveals that income and age are negatively correlated with political content creation, as well as emotional stability and life satisfaction, while extraversion was positively related. Further, the creation of political content was a positive predictor of political participation and civic engagement, even after controlling for demographics, psychological factors, media use and trust, suggesting a positive linkage between the production of online political content and both political and civic participatory practices.

Objectives Many individuals use YouTube™ to seek out information and share first-hand experiences about mental illnesses, as well as to gain a sense of community. YouTube™ use may be especially appealing when offline supports are lacking or difficult to access, and when there is a fear of stigmatisation. Borderline personality disorder (BPD), also referred to as emotionally unstable personality disorder (EUPD), is a complex and often stigmatised mental-health disorder. The primary objective of this study was to describe the dominant messages that individuals who self-identify with the diagnosis of BPD present through YouTube™ videos. Methods The content analysis method was used to review 349 first-person YouTube™ uploads. Videos were coded for information regarding video and vlogger characteristics, video type, vlogger motivation and video content. Associations between video features including upload date and style and vlogger experience and motivation were examined. Results Findings indicate that more people who self-identify as being diagnosed with BPD are creating YouTube™ videos about their experiences, and these videos have shifted over time from being mostly anonymous multimedia productions to being monologues where the vlogger speaks directly to their audience. Discussions related to DSM-5 symptoms, treatment, effective coping and hope for the future are elements found in the uploads. Conclusion The nature and content of BPD first-person YouTube™ uploads has increased and changed over time. Increased awareness of these changes may assist mental-health practitioners to support clients and direct them to explore uploads that offer hope and promote engagement in help-seeking and effective coping behaviours.

Digital content has abundant benefits, especially in the field of promotion. Where when a place of business or a body wants to introduce a product or service that is owned, it definitely requires content such as images as a promotional media. However, if you have to distribute posters to everyone you meet, it is not in line with current technological advancements because you are still using a conventional process. Therefore, to overcome this problem, social media can be used to process digital content easily and quickly. In this study, there are 3 (three) problems that will be overcome by 2 (two) methods, and 3 (three) solutions are produced. The advantage of digital content in social media is that it can be accessed anytime and anywhere, so it is concluded that the use of digital content in social media is able to overcome problems and is a creativepreneur effort found in the promotion system of a journal publisher. Some peer-to-peer streaming systems make use of linear codes to reduce the rate of the data uploaded by peers with limited upload capabilities. Such “data reduction” techniques are based on a vector-space approach and produce the data to be uploaded by means of linear combinations of the content data in a suitable finite field. In this paper, we propose a more general approach based on group theory. The new approach, while including the vector space approach as a special case, allows to design schemes that cannot be modeled as linear codes. We analyze the properties of the schemes based on the new approach, showing also how a group-based scheme can be used to prevent stream poisoning and how a group-based scheme can be converted into a secret-sharing scheme. Examples of group-based schemes that cannot be described in the vector-space framework are also shown.

Along with the rapid development of technology, social media platforms can be used to sharpen human creativity by uploading opinions, images, videos, sounds and so on as a form of user copyright. A digital platform that actively invites its users to upload copyrighted content is called the User Generated Content Platform ("UGC"). UGC's social media accounts are vying to be judged viral, so few accounts are 'stealing' content instead of his work in order to gain that reputation. Furthermore, the account is used commercially using a paid promote system or paid promotional services. This phenomenon often occurs on Instagram platforms with paid promotional systems that take Twitter content without permission. The purpose of this writing is to know the legal protection in the content of Twitter's UGC platform which is re-uploaded and monetized with a paid promotion system without rights on Instagram by Indonesian copyright law. Furthermore, the author carries the idea of providing protection to the UGC platform by applying the safeharbor doctrine in the event of copyright infringement by users of the platform. In reviewing this study, the authors used normative juridical approach methods, by examining literature as the main research material. The results of this study found that Twitter's re-uploaded and monetized User Generated Content platform content with a paid promotion system on Instagram has been protected by Indonesian copyright law in accordance with Law No. 28 of 2014 on Copyright reaffirmed in accordance with the safe Harbor doctrine contained in the Circular of the Minister of Communication and Informatics No. 5 of 201 on Restrictions on Responsibility of Platform Providers and Merchants of Electronic Commerce in the form of UGC.

The Internet, and particularly YouTube, has been found to be and continues to develop as a resourceful educational space for health-related information. Understanding physical literacy as a lifelong health-related outcome and facilitator of an active lifestyle, we sought to assess the content, exposure, engagement, and information quality of uploaded physical literacy videos on YouTube. Two researchers collected 300 YouTube videos on physical literacy and independently coded each video’s: title, media source of upload, content topics related to physical literacy, content delivery style, and adherence to adapted Health on the Net Foundation Code of Conduct (HONcode) principles of information quality. Physical literacy videos that focused on physical activity and behaviors were the strongest predictor of high quality ratings, followed closely by videos covering affective domains (motivation, confidence, and self-esteem) of physical literacy. The content delivery method was also important, with videos utilizing presentations and testimonials containing high quality information about physical activity. Thus, providers of physical literacy and health-related online video content should be aware of and adhere to the expected quality standards. As health information expectations and ethical standards increase, the Internet, and specifically YouTube, has the potential to enhance video resources, virtual networking opportunities, as well as the sharing, dissemination, accumulation, and enrichment of physical literacy information for all.

Background: Parkinson’s disease (PD) is the most frequent movement disorder. Patients access YouTube, one of the largest video databases in the world, to retrieve health-related information increasingly often. Objective: We aimed to identify high-quality publishers, so-called “channels” that can be recommended to patients. We hypothesized that the number of views and the number of uploaded videos were indicators for the quality of the information given by a video on PD. Methods: YouTube was searched for 8 combinations of search terms that included “Parkinson” in German. For each term, the first 100 search results were analyzed for source, date of upload, number of views, numbers of likes and dislikes, and comments. The view ratio (views / day) and the likes ratio (likes * 100 / [likes + dislikes]) were determined to calculate the video popularity index (VPI). The global quality score (GQS) and title - content consistency index (TCCI) were assessed in a subset of videos. Results: Of 800 search results, 251 videos met the inclusion criteria. The number of views or the publisher category were not indicative of higher quality video content. The number of videos uploaded by a channel was the best indicator for the quality of video content. Conclusion: The quality of YouTube videos relevant for PD patients is increased in channels with a high number of videos on the topic. We identified three German channels that can be recommended to PD patients who prefer video over written content.

Instagram provides users with different features, including posts and stories. Instagram post stays on the users’ feeds permanently unless the content is deleted. An Instagram story has an ephemeral nature as the uploaded content vanishes after 24 h. Through a survey of 224 respondents, this study explored individuals’ psychological constructs when using different Instagram features. Instagram usage pattern (i.e., use of different features (video, emoji, etc.), categories of content (food, selfie, etc.) that users usually post, reasons for editing photos (slim body, flawless skin, etc.), amount of time to create and upload a post/story), social comparison, self-esteem, and body image concerns based on the user’s perception of ephemerality and permanency were examined. Results demonstrated that the perception of ephemerality on Instagram stories were negatively related to social comparison and body image concerns. In addition, the longer the amount of time the user spent on posting either a post or story on Instagram, the higher the likelihood the user was to socially compare. Overall, the findings align with previous research suggesting that Instagram users who socially compare are likely to have lower self-esteem and higher body image concerns.

Kawasan Kota lama Semarang adalah salah satu prioritas. Instagram adalah media pilihan untuk kegiatan sosialisasi ikon kota dengan target bidik anak muda. Akun instagram @disbudparkotasemarang adalah akun resmi dinas kebudayaan Kota Semarang yang mengelola urusan wisata di kota ini. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa intensitas jumlah postingan, gambar yang diunggah, pesan captions yang ditulis mampu mempengaruhi benak khalayak demikian juga pada media Instagram. Teori Agenda Setting mengemukakan bahwa isi media dapat dibingkai oleh pengelola untuk tujuan yang diinginkan dengan pendekatan persuasif. Tujuannya ingin mengetahui isi unggahan, intensitas identitas ikon bangunan kawasan Kota lama yang kerap ditampilkan, teknik penulisan captions pada akun instagram @disbudparkotasemarang yang erat hubungannya dengan komunikasi persuasif untuk menarik kunjungan. Pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode analisis isi atas unggahan yang diamati. Hasilnya adalah Gereja Blenduk merupakan ikon bangunan yang sering diunggah yaitu 60 kali unggahan. Tahun 2019 adalah tahun paling banyak menampilkan postingan terkait kota lama sebanyak 54 postingan. Unggahan foto pada 30 Desember 2019 paling banyak banyak disuka orang, terdapat 947 Likes. Teknik penulisan persuasif dengan pendekatan teknik tataan adalah teknik penulisan captions yang sering digunakan. The Agenda Setting Theory presented that media content framed by managers for desired purposes in a persuasive manner. The goal is to find out the contents of the upload, the intensity of the identity of the old city building icon that often displayed, captions writing technique on the @disbudparkotas account now that is closely related to persuasive communication to attract visits. Quantitative research approaches with content analysis methods for observed uploads. The result, Blenduk church is a building icon that is often uploaded, which is 60 uploads. 2019 is the year were the most 54 posts posted in the city. The photo uploads on Dec 30, 2019, have the most likes, 947 Likes. Persuasive Writing Techniques with the approach to setting techniques are captions writing techniques that often used. The development of digital technology has brought new media, one of which is Youtube, which is now one of the most widely used applications for internet users in the world. The growth of the audience which is known as viewers, is also suported by the contribution from the content creators or also known as YouTubers from Indonesian. The more the viewers grow, the more their demand for trend content are also grwoing at surprisingly speed in one of the topics which is H-pop. In this study, the author wanted to see the dominant topics that K-pop YouTubers often upload to support content creator. This research was conducted using the Latent Dirichlet Allocation method. The analysis was carried out on after using text mining on 2563 videos from 10 K-pop YouTuber accounts with more than 100,000 subscribers. To determine the optimal number of topics by looking at the value of perplexity and topic conherence. The results obtained are the top 5 topics that are the content material in the uploaded video. These topics include reactions to dance covers, unboxing on albums and conducting reviews, riddles from K-pop dances and vlogs together to discuss about covers and reactions to sounds on K-pop songs.

Professionals have expressed concerns about the quality of autism-related information available from Internet-based sources. The purpose of this study was to examine the source, content, usability, and actionability of autism spectrum disorder–related information contained in 100 different videos directed to families of children with autism spectrum disorder uploaded to YouTube. Upload sources were identified, and video content was coded. Understandability and actionability of the videos were examined using Patient Education Materials Assessment Tool for Audiovisual Materials. The collective number of views of the videos was almost 100 million. The length of videos was 691.17 min (i.e. 11.5 h) with the shortest video being 30 s and the longest video being 37.36 min. The YouTube videos related to autism spectrum disorder covered a range of issues, although much of the content was focused on signs and symptoms. No difference in content reporting was noted based on sources for most categories, although differences were noted in some categories (e.g. professionals mentioned diagnosis and resources more frequently). Poor understandability and actionability scores (i.e. below 70%) were reported for all videos regardless of video source. However, the videos generated by the professionals were superior in terms of understandability. Study implications and recommendations for further research are discussed.

The purpose of this research was to analyze the prevalence of fake news on social networks, and implicitly, the economic crisis generated by the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the identification of solutions for filtering and detecting fake news. In this context, we created a series of functions to identify fake content, using information collected from different articles, through advanced machine learning methods with which we could upload and analyze the obtained data. The methodology proposed in this research determined a higher accuracy of fake news collected from Facebook, one of the most powerful social networks for the dissemination of informative content. Thus, the use of advanced machine learning methods and natural language processing code led to an improvement in the detection of fake news compared to conventional methods.

Instagram has a role for the purpose of personal branding and company branding. Educational institutions use Instagram to inform the activities and achievements as a form of digital promotion. Dian Nuswantoro University is the third best private university in Indonesia and has been using Instagram with an account @udinus_smg since 2016. This research was conductedelv with the aim to describe the reflection of the image carried out by Dian Nuswantoro University through its upload on the Instagram account @udinus_smg during 2017 until 2018. The method used in this research is content analysis. The results showed that in 2017 there were 202 uploads and in 2018 there were 351 uploads. Based on the imaging dimension, content in 2017 contains more of it than in 2018. The dominance of the imaging dimension that appears on the @udinus_smg is at the relationship level, namely: 201 uploads in 2017 and 74 uploads in the year 2018.Keyword: instagram, image dimensions, relationship ABSTRAKInstagram memegang peranan penting di ranah tujuan personal branding dan company branding. Institusi pendidikan menggunakan instagram untuk menginformasikan kegiatan dan prestasi yang diperoleh sebagai bentuk promosi digital. Universitas Dian Nuswantoro merupakan Universitas Swasta terbaik nomot tiga se-Indonesia dan menggunakan instagram dengan nama akun @udinus_smg sejak tahun 2016. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan refleksi citra yang dilakukan Universitas Dian Nuswantoro melalui unggahan-nya di akun instagram @udinus_smg pada tahun 2017 dan 2018. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis isi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pada tahun 2017 terdapat 202 unggahan dan pada tahun 2018 terdapat 351 unggahan. Berbasis pada dimensi pencitraan, konten di tahun 2017 lebih banyak memuat dimensi pencitraan daripada tahun 2018. Dominasi dimensi pencitraan yang muncul dalam unggahan di akun @udinus_smg berada pada tataran relationship, yaitu: sebanyak 201 kali unggahan di tahun 2017 dan sebanyak 74 kali unggahan pada tahun 2018.Kata Kunci: instagram, dimensi citra, relationship

Purpose Over the past few years, advertisers have adopted augmented reality (AR) technology in advertising campaigns. To overcome the geographic limit, advertisers record the interaction between people and virtual objects in AR campaigns and upload promotional videos on social media, such as YouTube. This study aims to develop and validate a measurement instrument to gauge the content characteristics of YouTube videos featuring AR ad campaigns. Design/methodology/approach To this end, possible items were generated via a review of prior literature, and supplemented by content analysis and a free association task. The measurement instrument was then refined and validated using a pretest of a general consumer sample, and further validated using a second general consumer sample with two online experiments. Findings Results indicate that the content characteristics of YouTube AR campaigns can be measured using a 15-item, four-construct (informativeness, novelty, entertainment and complexity) instrument. This study also found the direct and indirect relationships between each content characteristic and ad efficacy variables. Practical implications The measurement instrument provides practitioners with a broad measure of the content characteristics of YouTube AR campaigns. The results also reveal the effect of different content features of YouTube AR campaigns on the outcome of successful advertising execution. Originality/value This study contributes to the body of knowledge in marketing communications via exploring the primary content characteristics of AR advertising campaign videos uploaded on YouTube. It also develops an understanding of the impact of AR technology on consumer behavior and on the experience that it delivers.

P2P video streaming combining SVC and MDC In this paper we propose and evaluate a combined SVC-MDC (Scalable Video Coding & Multiple Description Video Coding) video coding scheme for Peer-to-Peer (P2P) video multicast. The proposed scheme is based on a full cooperation established between the peer sites, which contribute their upload capacity during video distribution. The source site splits the video content into many small blocks and assigns each block to a single peer for redistribution. Our solution is implemented in a fully meshed P2P network in which peers are connected to each other via UDP (User Datagram Protocol) links. The video content is encoded by using the Scalable Video Coding (SVC) method. We present a flow control mechanism that allows us to optimize dynamically the overall throughput and to automatically adjust video quality for each peer. Thus, peers with different upload capacity receive different video quality. We also combine the SVC method with Multiple Description Coding (MDC) to alleviate the packet loss problem. We implemented and tested this approach in the PlanetLab infrastructure. The obtained results show that our solution achieves good performance and remarkable video quality in the presence of packet loss.

Organizations maintain social media accounts and upload posts to show their activities and communicate with the public, as individual users do. Thus, organizations’ social media accounts can be examined from the same perspective of that of individual users’ accounts, with personality being one of the perspectives. In line with previous studies that analyzed the personality of non-human objects such as products, stores, brands, and websites, this study analyzed the personality of Instagram accounts of public health organizations. It also extracted features at content and pixel levels from the photos uploaded on the organizations’ accounts and examined how they were related to the personality traits of the accounts. The results suggested that the personality of public health organizations can be summarized as being high in openness and agreeableness but lower in extraversion and neuroticism. Openness and agreeableness were the personality traits associated the most with the content-level features, while extraversion and neuroticism were the ones associated the most with the pixel-level features. In addition, for each of the two traits associated the most with either the content- or pixel- level features, their associations tended to be in opposite directions with one another. The personality traits, except for neuroticism, were predicted from the photo features with an acceptable level of accuracy.

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced higher education institutions to change the way they communicate so that the number of new students can continue to grow. The use of social media is a strategy for higher education institutions that must be carried out in building awareness and strong relationships with students and alumni to achieve this growth. Therefore, this study aims to look at the performance of social media during the COVID-19 pandemic by examining upload movement activities on social media. The focus of this research is using social media analytics through performance metrics Impressions, Audience Demographics & Growth, Publishing Behavior, Engagement. The object of this research is to study all activity uploads on Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok during the period July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021. The frequency of uploads is collected per day and analyzed for one year. This study analyzes the content, frequency and time period of uploads on Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok. The results of this study show the performance of Social Media metrics on Instagram, Facebook and Tiktok by comparing the performance of the research period taken in this study with the previous one year period. Higher Education Institutions are advised to use Social Media as an effective creative communication channel to build the advantages of Higher Education Institutions and build relationships with the public during the COVID-19 pandemic.

TikTok Platform as a Representation of Da'wah Media in the Digital Age. Tiktok is the most user application during the digital era. With a variety of content, it can reach all circles. One of the positive things that can be used is the potential of tiktok as a da’wah media, especially for young people. One of the tiktok celebrities, Husein Basyaiban, has used his tiktok content for da'wah media to gain 5.4 million followers. This study aims to conduct a semiotic analysis of Husein Basyaiban's account comments and how this tiktok is used as a representation of da'wah media in the digital era. The analysis of the media text used is by using the semiotic analysis of the Charles Sanders Pierce model. The sampling technique in this study was using simple random sampling. Data collection techniques used by researchers are document analysis and library research. This study analyzes the responses of Tiktok netizens regarding the da'wah content uploaded by the @basyaman00 account. The results showed that there were three signs that became the basis of the researcher's analysis on Husein's account. The first is a sign of the large number of comments that appear on Husein's uploaded videos even though the numbers vary. The second is that netizens thank you for the knowledge that has been shared in Husein's video upload. And finally, there is a follow-up question regarding Husein's explanation of a religious problem

Objective: YouTube is currently being used for obtaining healthcare-related information. The objective of the study was to evaluate the quality and scientific accuracy of YouTube videos as a source of patient education information about skin self-examination. Methods: A YouTube search was conducted using keywords: skin self-examination and skin self-exam. First 100 videos of each search term (total 200) were included. Videos with irrelevant content, non-English videos, and videos with no audio or visuals were excluded from the study. Selected videos were divided into two groups based on the source of the video: healthcare group and non-healthcare group. A 5- point Global Quality Score (GQS) was used to evaluate quality and a 9- point content score was used to assess the scientific accuracy of the videos. Total views and number of days since upload were noted. Results: Of the 200 videos, 22 videos were selected for the study. The mean GQS and content score of all videos assessed were four and 8.09 respectively. Of these, 19 videos were uploaded by healthcare group. The mean GQS and content score of these videos were 4.11 and 8.11, respectively. Three videos were uploaded by non-healthcare group. The mean GQS and content score of these videos were 3.33 and 8 respectively. There was no statistical significant difference (P < 0.05) for all the measured variables among videos based on source. Conclusion: There is potential to increase public awareness about skin self-examination by utilizing YouTube. Considering there is a lot of low-credibility information, people need to be guided to reliable videos.

In recent years, artificial intelligence has been deployed by online platforms to prevent the upload of allegedly illegal content or to remove unwarranted expressions. These systems are trained to spot objectionable content and to remove it, block it, or filter it out before it is even uploaded. Artificial intelligence filters offer a robust approach to content moderation which is shaping the public sphere. This dramatic shift in norm setting and law enforcement is potentially game-changing for democracy. Artificial intelligence filters carry censorial power, which could bypass traditional checks and balances secured by law. Their opaque and dynamic nature creates barriers to oversight, and conceals critical value choices and tradeoffs. Currently, we lack adequate tools to hold them accountable. This paper seeks to address this gap by introducing an adversarial procedure— – Contesting Algorithms. It proposes to deliberately introduce friction into the dominant removal systems governed by artificial intelligence. Algorithmic content moderation often seeks to optimize a single goal, such as removing copyright-infringing materials or blocking hate speech, while other values in the public interest, such as fair use or free speech, are often neglected. Contesting algorithms introduce an adversarial design which reflects conflicting values, and thereby may offer a check on dominant removal systems. Facilitating an adversarial intervention may promote democratic principles by keeping society in the loop. An adversarial public artificial intelligence system could enhance dynamic transparency, facilitate an alternative public articulation of social values using machine learning systems, and restore societal power to deliberate and determine social tradeoffs.

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi pembelajaran Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) melalui pembelajaran online pada program Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG) PAI di LPTK UIN Mataram. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskripstif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Temuan penelitian ini bahwa implementasi pembelajaran online melalui TPACK di LPTK UIN Mataram dengan 58 Orang mahasiswa dari 7 propinsi telah berhasil meningkatkan kompetensi guru seperti kompetensi manajemen kelas online, download dan baca modul, baca materi dengan file format pdf, powerpoint, menonton video pembelajaran, kemudian resume dan upload tugas, aktif dalam diskusi online dan mengikuti ujian online dalam bentuk pretest, tugas formatif, tugas sumatif, dan tugas akhir modul online. Mahasiswa PPG PAI UIN Mataram lulus Uji Kompetensi Nasional 99% untuk Uji Kinerja (Ukin) dan 68.42 % untuk Uji Pengetahuan (UP). Abstract This study aims to analyze the implementation of Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) learning through online learning in the PAI Teacher Professional Education (PPG) program at LPTK UIN Mataram. The research method used a qualitative descriptive case study approach. The findings of this study are that the implementation of online learning through TPACK at LPTK UIN Mataram with 58 students from 7 provinces has succeeded in increasing teacher competencies such as online class management competencies, downloading and reading modules, reading material with pdf format files, powerpoints, watching learning videos, then resume and upload assignments, be active in online discussions and take online exams in the form of pretests, formative, summative, and final exam based on online modules. Students of PPG PAI UIN Mataram finished the 99% National Competency Test for Performance Test (Ukin) and 68.42% for Knowledge Test (UP).

Objective: The aim of this study is to evaluate the quality of videos on YouTube related to MRI-TRUS prostate fusion biopsy. Material and Methods: A YouTube search was made on March 16, 2022, for the videos related to “MRI-TRUS prostate fusion biopsy”. The first 70 videos were ranked during this study by choosing “relevance” as a criterion. Video content quality was evaluated using the internationally validated Journal of the American Medical Association Benchmark Score (JAMAS) and Global Quality Score (GQS). The researcher also developed MRI-TRUS Prostate Fusion Biopsy Scoring (MTPFBS) to evaluate videos’ technical content. The upload origin and length of video view count, like and dislike ratios, and video power indexes (VPI) were all evaluated. Results: Video content from academic center sources had significantly higher GQS scores than scientific meetings or private institution videos. Video content prepared by private institution sources had significantly lower MTPFBS and JAMA scores than other videos (p<0.05). According to the type of information, videos uploaded with voice and writing had significantly higher JAMAS and MTPFBS than voice alone (p<0.05). The length of videos showed a positive correlation with JAMA and MTPFBS. VPI and the number of likes showed a strong correlation. However, VPI or the number of likes did not correlate with GQS, JAMAS, and MTPFBS scores. Conclusion: Evaluated on YouTube, the MRI-TRUS prostate fusion biopsy videos were low quality. In that regard, videos prepared by specialists and academic centers should be standardized to transfer better quality information. In the future, the development and planning of AR and VR content for visitors and tourists for locations such as museums and exhibition halls will be actively required.

With the growing number of cloud users, shared data auditing is becoming increasingly important. However, these schemes have issues with the certificate management. Although there is a certificate-shared auditing scheme, it is ineffective in dealing with dynamic data and protecting data privacy. The verifier cannot access the data content to ensure data integrity due to security concerns. This paper proposes a novel technique to ensure the integrity and improve the access control. A novel enhanced storage retrieval mechanism is used to improve the performance of the cloud’s storage and retrieval mechanisms to achieve this. The technique is evaluated in concern of the upload, download, encryption, and decryption time. As the file size grows, so does the time it takes to upload it. Similarly, the time taken to encrypt files of various formats and sizes evidenced that it depends on the file size and format. Thus, the encryption time increases as the file sizes increases, demonstrating the performance of the proposed system.

Institusional repository (IR) is an information resource getting spread in some university libraries in Indonesia in the last ten years, including UIN Sunan Kalijaga library. IR as to be an important information resource alternative to the user on acessing information are produced by UIN Sunan Kalijaga academicians. The study aim to know some aspects on IR content aquisition was generated by UIN Sunan Kalijaga library, and how the strategy on encreasing the academicians angagement in IR content acquisition. The study find that the self upload policy of the academician works, and the rector’s decision that all of academician must submit their works to the library as the important things on increasing the academician engagement in the IR content acquisition.
