Computer managed assessment can provide adult and continuing education with a powerful instrument to promote program quality and instructional effectiveness and efficiency. However, few case studies are available to report on the achievements of such systems. This article reports a study of one college's experience with computer managed assessment and makes recommendations for the improvement of first generation computer assessment systems. It was observed that the assessment system was not being used as an instrument for improving program and instructional quality. Résumé L'évaluation gérée par ordinateur peut fournir aux services d'andragogie et d'éducation permanente un puissant outil de promotion de la qualité, du rendement et de l'efficacité des programmes et de l'enseignement. Or, il existe peu d'études de cas susceptibles de nous renseigner sur la portée de ces systèmes. Cet article décrit l'incursion d'un collège dans le monde de d'évaluation gérée par ordinateur, et formule quelqu.es recommandations visant l'amélioration de la première génération de systèmes de gestion informatique de l'évaluation. On a notamment observé que ces systèmes sont rarement utilisés pour régénérer la qualité des programmes et de l'enseignement.

The use of information and communication technology in the world of education is unavoidable. The use of networks to access computers remotely and connect them to the internet is increasingly needed by teachers and students to obtain learning information. The network system used must be well managed, especially in managing internet bandwidth so that the connection of each computer has access to the internet evenly and maximally as needed. SMA Negeri 2 Bojonegoro in its teaching and learning activities has utilized information and communication technology, especially has utilized computer networks and the internet as a medium for data and information communication. However, the computer and internet network systems at SMA Negeri 2 Bojonegoro have not been managed properly. The solution to improve the effectiveness of using and managing internet bandwidth at SMA Negeri 2 Bojonegoro is to design and implement network management with Mikrotik Router to make it easier for administrators to manage the network. This research uses the Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC) method as a method of developing computer network management at SMA Negeri 2 Bojonegoro. The results showed that the use of a network system using a Mikrotik router in managing internet bandwidth efficiently facilitates and facilitates various activities related to internet use.

Анотація:
The article provides evidence that the educational system at its current state is not able to adequately perceive the intervention of informational computer technologies and utilize them, as well as clearly differentiate types and risks of the so-called computer addiction. So far, education hasn’t developed a clear view of the role these technologies play in educational process, it only notifies their ambiguity for teaching different subjects. It means that humanity is still in search of the new approaches, being under the pressure of the old paradigms in education. It is especially obvious in teachers’ training practice, equipment of educational institutions, and other factors. The authors believe that contemporary risks in education, connected with intervention of information technologies, can be managed through computer literacy of participants in the educational process, and it might become a sort of a counterbalance for computer addiction.

This study utilised a cross-sectional survey design in order to evaluate the impact of computer-managed instruction (CMI) on teaching basic technology in junior secondary schools in Anambra State. Covering the Onitsha Education Zone, the study employed a multi-stage sampling to select 20 schools and 840 students and teachers. Data was collected through a structured questionnaire assessing CMI availability and impact, validated by experts and tested for reliability. The questionnaires were administered over a month, with data analysed using the SPSS software and statistical techniques. The results indicated a positive correlation between CMI integration and enhanced learning experiences, with students reporting increased motivation, interest, and engagement in Basic Technology lessons. Additionally, CMI is found to enhance problem-solving abilities, confidence in learning, and performance outcomes. Both teachers and students recognize the transformative possibilities of CMI, despite differences in their perceptions. These findings underscored the importance of embracing technological advancements in education to cultivate dynamic learning environments. The study offers practical implications for educational stakeholders, advocating for the continued integration of CMI to meet the evolving needs of students and prepare them for success in a digital age.

The research intended to present the scientific basis of CLIL and validate CLIL technology's implementation in a Russian higher education institution to develop computer literacy of Russian bilingual learners experimentally. Consequently, we acquired two essential scientifically proven procedures for implementing science education and math for multilingual learners in the educational institutions of The Republic of Tatarstan, Russia. The initial one indicates that bilingual learners can adjust their mother language to the bilingual education program's Russian education environment. The second one includes the concept of language immersion: educating bilingual learners utilizing the Russian language. In compliance with the first strategy, we devised computer-assisted learning assistance of CLIL implementation to evolve bilingual Tatar learners' computer literacy in teaching Informatics. The bilingual resource is made up of seven modules. It has been developed with the aid of commonly available technologies as well as Web 2.0 services. The investigation was managed to demonstrate the efficiency of CLIL technology to develop computer literacy of Tatar learners. The Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication of Kazan Federal University was adopted as a site for the experiment: 69 students of the first year of education participated in the pilot experiment. The experiment outcomes revealed that CLIL, as a technology to teach Informatics, improves the development of bilingual learners' computer literacy.

Standardization of educational resources and advanced use of appropriate computer knowledge to construct an efficient educational management system is integral for the modern system of education in the age of digitalized education. In the context of this need, this study is aimed at analyzing the Apriori algorithm of education resource management system and its implementation. The Apriori algorithm is analyzed and studied in this paper. Firstly, the background and function of the Apriori algorithm are summarized. Secondly, the content of the Apriori algorithm is introduced in detail. The educational resources managed by this system all follow the Apriori algorithm. It is the most widely used distance education standard at present. In addition, the idea and method of making educational resources in the specification are also expounded. The educational resources made by using this method have higher sharing and reuse. The article analyzes the present situation of the education resource management system, for the insufficiency in its function. The solution for different shortcomings has been dealt with one by one and presented as a grid with an Apriori algorithm for technical support. Moreover, various heterogeneous education resources have been integrated to a unified standardization conforming to the Apriori algorithm. It has been scientifically designed to provide an application platform that can store and manage educational resources efficiently and query educational resources conveniently. The universities can not only effectively manage their own educational resources but also use the resources of other schools, so as to avoid the repeated construction of educational resources. This enables them to achieve the whole Apriori within the scope of resource sharing and reuse. On this basis, this paper gives the system architecture diagram and topological structure diagram of educational resource management system on the Apriori algorithm based, puts forward the design scheme of the system, and describes the system’s technical architecture and functional architecture, respectively.

The research project “Feedback Processes in Computer Managed Spelling Instruction” was aimed at developing and testing an instructional software program for teaching the orthography of Dutch verbs. The main focus of this article is on how to design an optimal learning environment. The design of human-computer interaction is highlighted from a number of respects: the sequencing of the learning content, the presentation of information on the screen, and the format of student input and feedback. The program consists of seven instructional modules. In each module, a specific grammatical operation, such as grammatical tense, person, number or voice, is highlighted. The effectiveness of the courseware was tested in a field experiment. Two versions of the program, a Standard Version and a Flexible Version, were compared, taking account of individual differences in spelling ability and motivation variables. Results with both versions are reported.

The article is devoted to the use of interactive technologies by future teachers of primary education in educational institutions. The essence of interactive learning, which is carried out by forms of activity, when all participants of the educational process interact with each other, exchange information, solve problems together, evaluate the actions of participants, is revealed. It was determined that interactive technologies in education have great potential for improving the quality and efficiency of education. The concept of an interactive complex, which includes a computer, special software, a projector and an interactive whiteboard, is considered, and the method of its use is described. But the use of interactive technologies is not limited to the use of interactive complexes. For independent work, students use various interactive programs that allow learning the material in a playful, easy and interesting way. It is clarified that with the help of software training tools that simulate non-computer interactive methods, which include case technologies, role-playing and business games, as well as virtual laboratories, virtual tours, virtual excursions are successfully used in the educational process thanks to the use of modern multimedia tools. The stages of training classes using multimedia equipment are highlighted. It becomes obvious that by using interactive programs in the educational process, the teacher will have the opportunity to implement various teaching methods; significantly reduce the volume of material by using demonstration modeling; use the computer as a simulator; monitor the level of knowledge acquisition; to ensure more effective, controlled and managed independent work; it will be easier to overcome psycho-emotional barriers due to a certain anonymity of contact with the computer. It has been proven that the use of interactive technologies in the educational process of a higher education institution will contribute to the improvement of the quality of methodical training of the future teacher of primary education, the deepening of knowledge, abilities and skills, the increase of motivation and the encouragement of independent search, the expansion of one's horizons and the development of oneself as an individual. This study aimed to evaluate and determine if the Educaplus website contributes to the learning of mathematics in primary school students. The methodology consisted of a pretest to know the initial status of the teachers who made up the study sample and their skills and perceptions about the use of digital tools in mathematics. Then, training in Educaplus was applied as a complementary tool for mathematics training, and then a final evaluation to determine the teachers' receptivity to the incorporation of new methodologies in teaching. The research design allowed us to observe that the teachers' initial lack of knowledge prevented them from having a clear vision of the use of computer applications for mathematics. However, the training managed to change the panorama in the teaching community and improve perceptions.

The Computer-Assisted Learning (CAL) experiences of the Department of Forest Resources at the University of New Brunswick are described. The paper defines the principal benefit of CAL as better students rather than better teaching and states that CAL has contributed to the former by enhancing learning in three important ways: (i) new subjects, not possible before, have been introduced; (ii) certain topics have been dealt with more often; (iii) the delivery of some subjects has been better managed. The paper continues with a discussion of three strategies that were successfully employed in implementing the CAL programme. These strategies are (1) the programme emphasized heuristic CAL activities: probelm-solving, self-discovery and "what-if" learning, as opposed to drill and tutorial exercises: (2) the programme was committed to developing and maintaining appropriate CAL infrastructure: a dedicated and fully equipped CAL laboratory, plus the ongoing support of a CAL specialist to assist and educate faculty in integrating and implementing CAL techniques and. avoid reliance upon imported, often inappropriate, courseware; (3) in a limited funding situation the programme deliberately traded microcomputer quality for quantity, thus maximizing number of students accommodated. The paper concludes with a description of several CAL examples taken from undergraduate courses currently offered at the Faculty of Forestry. Teaching and learning how to program are not easy tasks. Disapproval and dropout rates are a concern for everyone concerned with the topic. Therefore, it is necessary to look for strategies that improve the motivation of students who start a programming course, also improving success rates and decreasing dropout rates. The inverted class model, or flipped classroom, has been used in several experiments, showing very good results. The objectives of this teaching-learning technique is to change the traditional order: students have contact with new subjects before the classroom, using videos, texts or other material, as well as small online tests to check their knowledge. In this way, the face-to-face classes are reserved for discussion, doubts and application of previously acquired knowledge. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the scientific production on Flipped classrooms in introductory programming courses indexed in Elsevier’s Scopus. The sample is composed by 45 articles in total. The results obtained by bibliometric analysis showed when and where those documents are published, who are the authors and what is the focus of said articles. We also analyzed the most cited documents. We made a summary of the articles, namely in what refers to the sample size of the experiences, which programming language is used, in which universities the articles are made, which technology is used, as well as which methods are used in order to create inverted classes and which are the objectives and results of these experiences reported on the articles.. We managed to get a global view of the theme, getting a strong analysis for those who want to use flipped classrooms for teaching programming.

Calcaneal unicameral bone cyst (UBC) is uncommon benign tumor that can be managed either conservatively or with different surgical interventions described in the literature. However, surgical intervention is usually preferred when the lesion is an active UBC significant in size, as there is the risk of pathological fracture due to thin bone, especially in load-bearing bones like the calcaneus. We report a case of calcaneal UBC considerable in size managed by open curettage and graft reconstruction using a combination of autograft and allograft in a 30-year-old male at two-years follow-up. Education is a basic human right. The Constitution of Nepal has specified education as a citizen's right. Education is the basic foundation of the development of any country. Therefore, it is the duty of the government to provide quality education to all its citizens. To this end, the Government of Nepal has adopted the policy of "Education for All' and provided free education up to the secondary school level in community-managed schools. Internet based library method has been applied. It is a Review of the existing status, government policy, NTA policy, and AEPC strategy on the promotion of energy services and internet services were conducted to prepare the action plan. In conclusion, Government of Nepal has realized the importance of the computer education and use of science and technology, information technology, digitization of the curriculum through of use of applications and modern teaching methodology.

This research studies the Impact of Covid-19 on the small businesses managed by the Youths in the mining town of Solwezi in Zambia. It utilised a qualitative research design method with 50 respondents being the youth businesses in Solwezi. Data collected through survey questionnaires was the analysed using the descriptive survey design. The study found that Covid-19 had adversely affected the youth managed small businesses performance and the youth employment in Solwezi. On the other hand, this has brought the prospects of technology driven businesses solutions around Solwezi. The study recommends more investment in internet technology and remote working practices as a way of reducing the impact of pandemics in the small businesses environment. It further recommends more relief and bail out packages from the Government to be considered for small businesses with low cash reserves.

Computer-based information technology is a means of delivering and processing information using micro-processors. In the context of learning evaluation, the implementation of ICT-based learning evaluation in PAI subjects at the senior high school level is a form of learning evaluation that uses the Computer Based Test (CBT) model, where CBT itself is also part of the application of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). The implementation of ICT-based evaluation in PAI subjects is no longer using paper, but the test can be done directly on the computer and the scoring system is also directly managed by the system, so that the presence of ICT-based learning evaluation in PAI subjects is able to provide convenience for educators and can advance the world of education at the pace of technological and information development.

The importance of developing technological skills at the undergraduate level to form better professionals is no longer questionable, assuming a particular role in subjects as accounting education. However, it appears that technologies are still weakly used in education and training. This article intends to analyse i) how students' technological skills development can be promoted, ii) in what way the integration of digital technologies in the curriculum is managed, and iii) what influence teaching, assessment and learning methods have, in the development of generic skills, especially technological skills. Presents a case study in the master's degree in Economics and Accounting Teaching, that forms teachers to vocational secondary education in this area. A qualitative approach was used with the support of participant observation and a questionnaire to finalist students. The case study is based on the active teacher training model that promotes technological skills using teaching and assessment methods for active learning.

Due to the little diffusion of the SDN and the high projection that this technology currently has, it is essential that the university educational entities are those that dabble in this issue. Abstract: Owing to the entry of COVID-19, starting from the year 2000, India managed online education well for more than a year and a half. Now, the question is to understand whether the online mode of education is as effective as the face-to-face classes. This study intends to focus on identifying the challenges and finding the opportunities to enhance the quality of online engineering education with respect to Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) branch. A survey was conducted using a questionnaire involving the chosen 2nd year, 3rd year, and 4th year students of CSE department, Velammal College of Engineering & Technology, Madurai (VCET), who have had the experience of acquiring knowledge through both offline and online modes. The spreadsheet software was used to filter, organize as well as visualize quantitative data, and descriptive methodology was adopted for the data analysis. The result of the study will lay a scope to understand the existing gaps in online CSE education and the proposed ideas to fill the same enhancing the resources. Further, this study may play a pivotal role in making effective online CSE education at par with face-to-face classes completely possible and preferable. It is generally believed that successful robot users have dedicated centralized robotic groups. While such a generalization holds some merit historically, the availability of newer more user-friendly robots and workstations in recent years and a more computer-literate work force today is changing the way that automation can be managed. Decentralization recognizes robots and workstations as additional tools for all analysts, not a select few. Such an approach initiates involvement and education of more staff with respect to automation. This further ushers the development of automated methods instead of the automation of manually-developed methods. Decentralization also provides local control of resources to address the priorities of a specific functional group within the department. Both a vision of the future, as well as a look at the past, should be considered when determining how to manage robotic and other means of automation. This paper discusses decentralized management of robots as currently applied and envisioned in a large pharmaceutical analytical R & D department.

In particular, it can help contribute to UNJ's work partners in this case the Vocational School, namely solving cooperative sustainability problems as a learning forum for students to improve education quality and linkages with the business world, access, efficiency and relevance of education, namely student competency in Middle School (SMK). Cooperatives in schools have not been managed properly because management resources do not maximize the potential, and the sustainability and development of school cooperatives tend to be stagnant, whereas opportunities to maximize the economic potential of cooperatives to improve the welfare of school people are very wide open. School cooperatives are also a laboratory for students to carry out dual system education which is not optimal in its implementation, student involvement is only to maintain the store, not to the stage of implementing good governance. So we developed training in Cooperative Accounting Computer Applications for Schools.

Worksheets are common in science classrooms with an aim to support pupils’ meaning-making, e.g., for guiding them in performing hands-on activities and documenting their experiences of such activities. Yet, there have been few systematic studies of pupils’ disciplinary representations in worksheets. Drawing on systemic functional linguistics, we have analyzed fifth grade pupils’ (age 10–11) multimodal texts in worksheets (n = 25) when they were working with shadow formation as part of their regular classroom activities. In the worksheets they were asked to first explain in writing why or why not a shadow was formed and then explain shadow formation through a drawing. At an overall level, we found that a majority of the pupils managed to express in writing why a shadow is formed, though it appeared to be more challenging for them to explain why a shadow is not formed. In their drawings, quite a few pupils managed to include several key aspects of shadow formation, at least when combining image with writing. For all tasks, the explanatory parts of the pupils’ responses were often implicit. Based on our results, we suggest that pupils may benefit from teaching practices that integrate a parallel focus on form and content as a way to raise their awareness of, for instance, the affordances of different resources and how explanations can be structured. Such practices may support pupils to be able to consider and choose appropriate resources in their disciplinary texts.

In This paper we offer a rationale for modifying textbooks for youth with learning disabilities who are included in general education classes. We then review research carried out recently at the university of washington having to do with four adaptation approaches: study guides, graphic organizers, vocabulary drill, and computer-assisted instruction. We then offer suggestions for selecting one approach or the other—that is, when conditions suggest that one technique would be more suitable than the others. Relatedly, we make specific recommendations for involving general education teachers in the process of adapting textbooks. Finally, we make a few suggestions for assisting pupils to gain access to information from textbooks when they are in classes managed by teachers who are either unwilling or unable to adapt textbooks.

The development of all spheres of public life is associated with the optimization of information processes (collection, storage, processing, transmission of information), so modern society is called information. Modern information and communication technologies play an important role in teaching a foreign language in non-philological higher education institutions. The organization of education using electronic tools allows significant deepening the professional knowledge and optimizing the educational process for students. Modern lexicography has significantly expanded and strengthened its tools with computer technology for creating and using dictionaries. Special programs (databases, computer files, word processing programs) let us automatically generate dictionary entries, store dictionary information and process it. The purpose of the study is to reveal the specifics of computer lexicography use for training managers in a modern agricultural university. To achieve this goal, a set of methods was used: theoretical: comparison and generalization (study of the degree of scientific development of the term “computer lexicography”), analysis, synthesis and generalization of psychological, pedagogical and methodological literature, theoretical forecasting and modeling of computer lexicography to determine scientific bases of the researched problem; empirical: diagnostic methods (interviews, interviews with teachers, questionnaires, analysis of products of professional activity of teachers, which provide philological disciplines in teaching the agricultural managers). The analysis of the problem showed its insufficient representation in modern scientific works. The article characterizes the role of disciplines of the philological cycle in the professional training of higher education students majoring in “Management”; the term “computer lexicography” is defined and its typology is singled out; the conditions for the introduction of computer lexicography in the educational process of agricultural universities are determined; analyzed software for the introduction of elements of computer lexicography in training the marketing specialists in agricultural universities; the positive and negative aspects of the use of computer lexicography as a component of education are revealed. The article for the first time revealed the specifics of the use of computer lexicography in teaching the philological disciplines for the specialty “Management” at the universities in the agricultural sector. The variety of trends in the introduction of computer lexicography at all stages of teaching the discipline is obvious, and, in particular, the variety of approaches to the creation of electronic dictionaries of different types. The obtained results allow deepening the knowledge of future specialists in the field of management, expanding the interests of higher education seekers, simplifying the work of students with special terminology, systematizing the acquired knowledge, improving the quality of philological disciplines through the introduction of information and communication technologies.

“Israeli Hope in Academia” is a program, designed by the president of the state of Israel, Reuven Rivlin. The program is based on the perception that Israeli society is changing, from having a clear majority and several minorities to a society comprised of four principal sectors that are roughly similar in size: secular Jews, religious Jews, Haredi (ultra-orthodox) Jews and Arabs. The program acts to encourage a more diverse and culturally competent higher education system that promotes partnership. One of the means to achieve that goal is to create meaningful educational interactions between people from academia and the younger generation of these sectors. Over the past year, students from various faculties in the Holon Institute of Technology (HIT) took part in a course called “Green Ambassadors”, which corresponds with the “Israeli Hope” program. This course was considered an action learning course, which is a course that combines academic learning and social involvement that has an impact on the community. In order to illustrate the environmental topics and to achieve high participation levels of the pupils, the students created a mobile laboratory containing experiments and demonstrations in which the pupils took an active part. Thus, the course managed to make a significant impact on the community and achieve the goals set by the “Israeli Hope” program. This paper presents the “Israeli Hope” program, HIT and the “Green Ambassadors” course, as well as the methodology used to achieve the course’s goals. Finally, this paper will discuss the success levels of the course.

The main objective of this platform is to complement the current MLEs with a single supported intelligent and personalised ubiquitous learning environment that will promote and make provisions for adaptive and collaborative learning, human computer interaction on mobile and desktop clients anywhere and anytime. The system aims to enhance the students’ learning experience in third level educational environment by employing personalisation techniques such as the agent-oriented recommendation technique to engage students and help them access the content material for their studies.

Introduction- Schizophrenia is a complex, chronic mental health disorder characterized by an array of symptoms, including delusions, hallucinations, disorganized speech or behavior and impaired cognitive ability. Schizophrenia is a lifelong condition, but treatment can help manage the symptoms. Case description- A 28 year old female presented in the OPD with headache, disturbed sleep, increased anger and feeling sadness, more in the evening, since 5 months. Detailed interrogation with her mother revealed that she had irritability, increased anger, disturbed sleep and impulsivity. On mental status examination, she was found to have restricted mood and affect in addition to somatic passivity. The case was diagnosed as Schizophrenia, based on the diagnostic criteria mentioned in International Classification of Diseases 10th revision. As per the Ayurveda clinical examination, the case can be considered as Sannipathika Unmaada with PittaVata predominance. Management - The case was managed in the Inpatient department. Internal medicines were given to address the symptoms along with procedures like takrapana followed by uttamamatra snehapana, abhyanga ushmasweda and virechana. Thereafter Nasya, Thalam, Sirodhara And Dhoopana was done. Yoga and pranayama along with Smriti meditation was also done. Result Significant improvement were noted in Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS) score after treatment.

Based on this background, the problem taken is how to create an academic information system using the WML programming language, PHP through the MYSQL database system. The aim is to find out how the WAP-based academic information presentation system can be accessed. The research method used is the method of observation, literature, or interviews with existing academic information systems. The result of this research is a WAP-based academic information system application with the collaboration of WML and PHP code scripts that are connected to the MYSQL database.

Abstract Background Community nurses commonly care for a diverse patient population, often with complex chronic diseases. Sleep health is a key contributor to overall wellbeing and sleep disturbances/disorders frequently co-exist with comorbidities and can hasten disease progression. Community nurses are therefore ideally situated to care for sleep disturbed patients, but to what degree this is currently being undertaken is not known. Objectives To explore community nurses’ current sleep health practices and to look into their perspectives around potential change that can improve sleep health care provision. Methods Qualitative semi-structured interviews were conducted with nurses working in community settings. Interviews were audio recorded, transcribed and thematically analysed. Results Twenty-three Australian community nurses were interviewed. Participants frequently encountered patients with sleep disturbances/disorders with insomnia and sleep apnea being the most common presentations. Data analysis yielded three themes: 1) Sleep health in the community serviced, 2) Sleep health awareness and management, 3) Community nurses A to ZZZ of improving sleep health. Whilst sleep apnea appeared to be managed appropriately, insomnia was often mismanaged. Participants described their sleep health knowledge as deficient with the majority advocating for increased sleep-related education. Other important factors for improved sleep health care were standardised treatment/referral pathways, increased health professional collaboration and sufficient patient consult time. Conclusion Community nurses commonly care for patients requiring increased sleep health care. However, they are currently underequipped to do so. Providing community nurses with appropriate resources, such as sleep-related education and standardised treatment frameworks could enable them to better manage sleep disturbance/disorder presentations.
