Анотація:
The Cooperative Framework between the National Civic School Teacher Training College and the Ferenc József University in the Service of Teacher Training (1928–1947). In my study I demonstrate the creative process of the cooperative framework between two institutions of high education in Szeged, the National Civic School Teacher Training College and the Ferenc József University from the very first school year in Szeged in 1928 until the last one in 1947, that is, until a dispute that ended their cooperation. The discussion was aimed at the rate of role of the two institutions in civic school teacher training. My goal is to review the historical background and the method of research and then give answers to the following questions: what stages did the coming about of the cooperation go through? What effect did this collaboration have on the everyday life of the students? How is the dispute about the creation of the framework presented in the most important organ of civic school teachers, Polgári Iskolai Tanáregyesületi Közlöny (Civic School Teachers Association Gazette)?

This paper utilizes the method of synthetic analysis to summarize the characteristics and models of China’s cooperative education, which shows the distinctive research and practice of China’s Co-op according to 113 thesis and 27 reports presented on Summit of China’s Cooperative Education in 2009. Co-op (short for "cooperative education") in graduate education is particular, diversified in undergraduate education and perfect in vocational college. The reform and development of CIAR (short for cooperation of industry-academy-research) becomes much more prosperous. Finally we make the following conclusion: Co-op in China will develop from “three cooperation” to “four cooperation”, which is the cooperation in education, school-running, employment and mutual development.

Real situation requires colleges and universities must spend big strength in starting a business to promote graduates employment. Based on colleges and universities to promote university students' employment entrepreneurship support measures as the research content, with in 5 colleges and universities in hebei province as the research object, through the investigation and study and literature analysis, the paper analyzes the problems existing in the guidance of employment and entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship education, school enterprise cooperation, employment. At the same time reference to the United Kingdom and the United States of college students employment experience, the paper put forward the improvement measures of the colleges and universities in the current stage to promote the employment and Entrepreneurship of College Students: equal emphasis on service and development in the field of employment guidance, the unity of theory and practice in the aspect of entrepreneurship education, in the aspect of school enterprise cooperation to achieve win-win.

Анотація:
This study was conducted in a college remedial mathematics course to determine whether a minimal level of teacher intervention could induce cooperative learning on the part of students and whether cooperative learning would help students increase their problem-solving skills in mathematics. The intact, four-credit semester course included high school algebra and geometry. Practical methods that induced cooperation, with only three direct teacher interventions during the semester, are described. Instruments for evaluation of achievement included multiple-choice skills tests and open-ended teacher-made tests. Students using cooperative learning performed as well as or better than the control on every measure. Outcome variables that showed significant differences in favor of cooperative learning were solving word problems in algebra and proof-writing in geometry. It was concluded that the resulting increase in students' problem-solving abilities justified use of the method.

I DON'T LIKE MATHEMATICS CONTESTS. I PARTICIPATED in some local contests in high school, was unaware of the existence of regional and national contests, and avoided the Putnam in college. My general philosophical bent is toward cooperation rather than competition and toward mathematical enrichment rather than acceleration in the calculus stream. However, I also have nonemotional reasons for disliking contests, which I give in this article. Additionally, I will relate efforts to diversify participation in contests to efforts to make extracurricular mathematics more welcoming to all students. Finally, inspired by the Hampshire College Summer Studies in Mathematics program (www.hcssim.org), I have some suggestions for more-inclusive high school mathematical activities.

With the transformation and upgrading of undergraduate universities to Application-oriented universities, university-enterprise cooperation and innovation education have become the only way to cultivate talents. With the continuous development of "the new engineering," a new round of teaching reform and teaching innovation construction in colleges and universities has been carried out in full swing. Under the current new education environment, university-enterprise cooperation is a necessary form of teaching reform in the recent engineering construction of universities. Adapting to "the new engineering" under the education development direction has become the point of contributions to its positive impact and the new starting point of the related teaching management research. Based on the college of information science and technology practice in our school, this paper takes the practice base of computer specialty co-built by school and enterprise for many years as the research object. It summarizes the implementation process of the training of "the new engineering" talents. In non-engineering departments such as cosmetology as well, capstone design has been operated as an educational program and evaluation method, generating some positive educational effects. To examine the adoption of capstone design among domestic cosmetology-related college curriculums, this study investigated the total number of credits granted, distribution of academic departments by school, supporting units within academic departments and schools and receipt of government subsidy from the Ministry of Education, and the results found the followings: In 2018, a total of 3,590 students from 31 departments under school of natural sciences and 22 departments under school of art and physical education completed cosmetology-related capstone design courses. In average, each student was assisted by KRW 90,532. The supporting units were operated in cooperation with office of academic affairs (23 colleges), academia-industry cooperation foundation (21 colleges) and strategic support center for government-funded projects (8 colleges). The course titles differed by college. In fact, new and unique capstone design course titles have been used by academic major. It is anticipated that the study results would be available as basic data needed to enhance educational effects for applying capstone design courses and planning government-funded projects, search new items and improve their utilization.

Although school turnaround has been studied extensively in Western contexts such as the United States, the applicability of remedies to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries has not been extensively studied. The literature that exists predominantly uses a Western cultural lens. This article identifies four key dimensions of leadership for transformation of schools—what is leadership, who becomes a school leader, how are leaders supported, and do school leaders believe they can succeed—, contrasting between the Gulf region and the West; in doing so, the article seeks to explain why the solutions to school failure that originate from the West, widely understood around the globe, are either irrelevant or of limited use in this region. Drawing in part on the authors’ experience in establishing a leadership centre, through collaboration between the Ministry of Education in Bahrain and the Bahrain Teachers College, the article calls for systematic empirical studies to establish how each of the four dimensions inform region-specific approaches to leadership for school transformation and quality improvement. It concludes by arguing that researchers should explicitly consider the extent to which their findings can be translated into practical leadership action in a range of cultural settings.

Based on the perspective of IoT intelligent analysis of the 2017 grade advertising class of Fujian-Taiwan cooperation School of Communication College of Fujian Normal University before and after going to Taiwan, this paper studies the impact of Fujian-Taiwan cooperation on the class network by comparing the advertising professional classes that do not accept the Fujian-Taiwan cooperation. From the overall network density of the class, the use of WeChat promotes the information flow of the whole network; Fujian-Taiwan cooperation in running schools significantly improves the class cohesion of Fujian-Taiwan classes; the cohesion of professional classes in the school-based department without the cooperation between Fujian and Taiwan has not been improved. From the perspective of centrality analysis and structural holes: the experimental group and the control group before going to Taiwan have the characteristics of partial female and class committee, and the excellent academic performance is not the necessary condition for the opinion leaders of convention number; the characteristics of the opinion leaders of the control group in the two periods before and after going to Taiwan have not changed a lot, with girls and class committee as the main characteristics; after going to Taiwan, the characteristics of opinion leaders in the experimental group changed greatly, with more boys, more excellent students, and less importance of class committee.

At present, many domestic police colleges are constantly promoting foreign exchanges and cooperation. They have established extensive inter-school cooperation with foreign police education and training institutions and police colleges. More and more Chinese students of police colleges go abroad to judicial institutions and police colleges of various countries for short-term study or visit. Due to cross-cultural differences and other factors, these international Chinese students often encounter culture shock at English-speaking countries. This article takes eleven students from Nanjing Forest Police College (NFPC) as the survey object, conducts dynamic research applying interviews and questionnaires, explores the culture shock they experienced in six-month life and learning in 2019 in Canada, analyzes the internal and external causes, and proposes the countermeasures to cross-cultural adaption for international Chinese students in police colleges.

Abstract On the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, this essay analyses those educational innovations in the history of central European education that were introduced by the Church reform in the 16th century, following these modernizations and their further developments through the spreading of the universal school systems in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. Drawing examples from the innovations in the college culture of the period, the author emphasises that those pedagogical values established in the 16th century are not only valid today, but are exemplary from the point of view of contemporary education. From these the author highlights: pupils’ autonomy (in the form of various communities), cooperation with the teachers and school management and the relative pluralism of values.

University graduates can inject strong impetus into the development of cities. However, China’s “Strengthening the Provincial Capital” strategy attracts many college graduates, resulting in many limitations in attracting college students to employment in non-provincial capital cities. This paper systematically studies college students’ work and entrepreneurial intention factors. We conduct a social survey of employment and entrepreneurial intentions among university graduates in Xiangtan City, Hunan Province, and obtain 12,897 questionnaires. Then, we construct an index analysis system (IAS) and analyze the 12897 questionnaires systematically based on IAS. The results show that urban characteristics and personal orientation most directly affect college graduates’ employment and entrepreneurial willingness. Based on the statistical conclusions, we put forward corresponding policy recommendations. Colleges should build a “government-enterprise-school” cooperation mechanism, implement strategically focused attraction policies following local conditions and local conditions, and promote the employment of college students to promote employment and entrepreneurship in non-provincial capitals.

This paper analyzes the disadvantages that the college students who is trained by the closed education of the institutions of higher learning in the recent years can not meet the real requirements of the enterprises to the innovative talents ,and it is difficult that the college teachers and students conduct practical activities in the enterprises, proposes the establishment of " the Advanced Textile Mechanical and Electromechanical Center of Research and Development " that is the link of the school-enterprise cooperation and training innovative talents. It truly sets up a win-win mechanism between the school and enterprises and solves the above disadvantages. Teaching internship is an effective form of cooperation between university and primary and middle school. Teaching internship can promote the improvement of the teaching quality of internship primary and secondary schools, and also promote the integration of theoretical knowledge and practical experience by college students, and promote the professional development of college students. In order to grasp the situation pertaining to normal students&rsquo; teaching internship, we conducted a questionnaire survey on a sample of normal students. The survey results show that the teaching effect of teaching internship is satisfactory, and through teaching internship, the teaching ability of normal students has also been developed, which has promoted the professional development of normal students.

The deep learning connotation is predetermined as five abilities, which are metacognitive ability, active communication and cooperation ability, deep processing ability, creative practice ability, and learning empathy experience, and, based on this, the deep learning questionnaire is designed, and it is reclassified by exploratory factor analysis to reduce the dimensionality, and the specific indicators and scientific connotation dimensions of the deep learning questionnaire are determined; and, through the deep learning of each dimension, the problems of deep learning of college students are examined and in-depth analysis is conducted, and the inner relationship and correlation among the dimensions of deep learning of college students are derived through correlation analysis. The success of innovation and entrepreneurship depends on the innovation and entrepreneurial ability of college students, and the formation of the ability influenced various factors. Therefore, not only is studying the influencing factors of college students’ innovation and entrepreneurship ability in line with the requirements of the times and social development, but also it can solve real problems. This thesis adopts a combination of two methods, qualitative research and quantitative research, to study the influencing factors of college students’ innovation and entrepreneurship ability and tries to ensure the scientificity, accuracy, and comprehensiveness of the conclusion. In this paper, we analyzed the requirements of the employment prediction system for graduating secondary school students, carried out the software framework and database design of the employment analysis and prediction system for secondary school students, and designed the system modularly based on the analysis results. By applying the proposed deep feedforward neural network prediction model to the prediction system, a software system applicable to the employment prediction and guidance of secondary school students is implemented.

In this study the researchers use principal factor analysis to identify the factors affecting the competitiveness of college graduate students in the job market, based on a sample of senior students enrolled in an undergraduate school. The analysis revealed 5 factors that influence the students' employment prospects: learning ability, foreign language ability, cooperation, information technology, and interpersonal relations. We also analyze the effect of differences in gender and family economic circumstances in relation to the 5 factors, and conclude that these influence both students' employment prospects and their career planning.

Interactive online learning requires students’ cooperation. Online cooperative learning focuses on learning activities on group cohesiveness to achieve the highest cognitive level. Students can improve their teamwork skills, problem-solving skills, social skills, self-confidence, academic success, and metacognition levels through online cooperative learning activities. The Online Cooperative Learning Attitude Scales (OCLAS) scale is a tool to measure students’ attitudes towards online cooperative learning. Education in Indonesia uses Indonesian as the language of instruction. Therefore, the adaptation of measurement tools such as OCLAS into the Indonesian language is crucial. This study aimed to adapt OCLAS into Indonesian by translating the original OCLAS into the Indonesian language and determining the instrument’s validity and reliability. The OCLAS has three main components: positive interdependence, individual accountability, and group processing for equal individual contribution. The original version contained 17 statements with responses using a Likert scale of five and seven points. We validated the OCLAS using the item-correlation method. The reliability was measured using the Cronbach’s Alpha method, which is useful for measuring internal consistency. The original OCLAS was translated into the Indonesian Language. A language center in a prominent university performed the verification of forward and backward translation of the Indonesian OCLAS. The Indonesian-OCLA was distributed to 59 students at a private university from the pharmacy and non-pharmacy study programs and 275 high school students. The validation results showed seven invalid items for pharmacy students, five invalid items for non-pharmacy students, and six invalid items for high school students. The Indonesian-OCLAS has Cronbach’s Alpha reliability with a value of 0.711 for pharmacy students, 0.791 for non-pharmaceutical students, and 0.702 for high school students. This study showed that ten out of 17 statements had good validity, and they were reliable. Therefore, we recommended the usage of the Indonesian-OCLAS toward high school and college students.

Educational Outreach at PSU’s EM Facility for the Life Sciences evolved from the consolidation of multi-user laboratories and a growing demand for hands- on laboratory experiences requested by undergraduates, middle and highschool students and their teachers in central Pennsylvania. The EM lab is one of five such shared technology facilities which primarily provide university researchers with services and training.The development of educational outreach programs grew from early work on extension projects with faculty and graduate students in the College for Agricultural Sciences. That experience and a new climate of cooperation permitted our laboratory to promote problem-based learning in funded programs such as undergraduate reasearch (independent study /honors projects) and summer institutes for pre-college students in Biology (Howard Hughes Institute) and Agricultural Sciences (Pennsylvania Governor’s School, PGSAS).

The SEC teaching management platform provides a good support for school-enterprise cooperation. This paper conducts research on the SEC management information platform based on the B/S architecture. On the basis of the analysis of the relevant functional needs of the system, the overall functional framework of the system includes the college management platform, enterprise management platform, resource-sharing platform, and user login platform, then the B/S architecture is used to develop the SEC teaching management platform, and the test experiments of the SEC teaching management platform are carried out. The maximum number of concurrent tests shows that the maximum number of concurrencies of the platform is 989. Through the system response time test, the system response time is between 0.2 and 0.45, which meets the system response time requirements. In the CPU use test, the CPU share of the system was between 25% and 31%, meeting the needs of the system. From the above experimental results, the system is relatively high.

Chongqing Aerospace Vocational and Technical College is the first batch of modern apprenticeship pilot institutions of the Ministry of Education. Chongqing Aerospace Vocational and Technical College has made practical explorations in five aspects, such as the integration of enrollment and recruitment, the construction of the standard system, the construction of teaching resources, the reform of personnel training mode and the construction of management mechanism, and shared four pilot experiences: careful selection of pilot majors, careful selection of pilot enterprises, grasping the essential characteristics of modern apprenticeship and meeting the connotation requirements of modern apprenticeship in essential teaching documents.

I prepare for the selection of the necessary physical, material, and also psychological. This research was initiated from the problems that occurred in the preparation of the admission public universities by students coming from private schools . These problems such as high school rules violations / lack of discipline, learn less motivated to learn. This condition greatly affects the readiness of students to achieve success SNMPTN pass. This study aimed to describe the readiness of high school students college entrance exams and the role of BK teacher / school counselor. The study population is students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Metro are 212 students. This type of research is quantitative descriptive, and the questionnaire used as an instrument of collecting data. The results showed that the average score of 80.53 with an average percentage of 26.84%, are in the category is not ready. BK teacher's role in preparing students in private schools that help students related to school by making a counseling program, either individually or in the classical style. Increase cooperation with fellow teachers and parents and guardians to fostering the development of children's potential.Keywords: Readiness, Students, Counselor role

Innovation and entrepreneurship (IAE) education in higher vocational education is mainly to cultivate college students’ innovative spirit and ability, and it is an important way to promote economic development. However, the current academic research on the construction of IAE education ecosystem in higher vocational school (HVS) is relatively weak. In order to improve the IAE education ecosystem of HVS and strengthen the innovation of HVS education system, this study systematically discusses and analyzes the system from the four aspects of system boundary, state, power, and movement and further innovates and constructs the IAE education ecosystem of HVS on the basis of university education system, subject cooperation, and mechanism management. The results prove the feasibility of HVS IAE education ecosystem from the perspective of system theory, enhance the cultivation of HVS talents’ IAE ability, and are of great significance to promote the comprehensive reform of higher vocational school education system.

Psychological stress refers to the load or oppression that people’s thoughts, feelings, and other inner processes bear, as well as the emotional shifts brought on by the school, work, society, everyday life, interpersonal connections, and other things. It can trigger people’s worry and other negative feelings, making them mentally dejected and frustrated, as well as raise people’s spirits to cheer up and meet stimuli and difficulties. College students are in their 20s, and they are energetic, have extreme mood swings, and are prone to mental problems. As a distinct group in the social development trend, college students are influenced by the learning and growth environment, and their understanding of the world, values, and outlook on life is maintained at the theoretical level, lacking practical thinking and experience, making it difficult to adapt in a short period of time. Excessive psychological strain is caused by new events and new contradicting conditions, which interfere with normal living and learning. This study employs a deep learning model to test and assess the psychological stress in college students, with the goal of addressing the varied psychological stresses that college students are prone to. The deep learning model employed in this paper is based on the classic ResNet50 network model, which compresses its network structure, lowering the computational cost of ResNet50 network model training and increasing the network’s efficiency. To boost processing performance and save storage and computational resources, we trained a network with few parameters, a small model, and high precision. The findings of the investigation can help college officials prevent and recognize problems in students early on. It actively builds a good home-school cooperation mechanism and enhances the students’ ability to cope with and solve stress through enhancing the students’ behavioral experience, so that students can form a good psychological stress coping thinking and behavior, while attaching importance to the cultivation of college students’ psychological quality.

The aim of this study is to evaluate the status and drawbacks of current table tennis curricula in higher vocational college. Literature review, questionnaire survey, and logic analysis were used to discover the discrepancy between school education and position requirements of enterprises. The results indicated that new course reformation should focus on the change of teaching concept and update of course content and evaluation methods through the guidelines characterized by professionalization, modularization, and miniaturization. This new teaching mode of course-certificate integration can favor the cooperation of faculty training in curriculum content for table tennis coach between school and enterprise, achieving a complete match among various courses and jobs. We wish this knowledge might lead to a clue toward the cultivation of applied talents for table tennis. The development of this research can not only promote the healthy development of the sports training market but also help to standardize the compensation system of the private sports training market in the field of teachers.

Inclusive education is an educational syem that accessible for everybody in any condition. In this case, the focus of inclusive education is for people with disabilities. People with any disability have the same right to acquire formal education. Until now, inclusive education is implemented in the elementary and middle school level, so higher education inclusive paradigm still needs to get more attention.Inclusive higher education is a continuity of inclusive education in the elementary and middle school level. In a formal sense, inclusive education in college has not gotten the policy that affirm the implementation of inclusive education in the college level. Therefore, people with disabilities and disabled-people activits, either from academic or non-academic settings, need to undertake the political efforts to toward policy makers for making policy about implementation of inclusive education in the college nationally. Community’s efforts to influence government decision-making is called political participation. Political participation is a form of community involvement to influence the policy-making process. In this case, the public policy form is called (regeling), which is the result of cooperation betwwen the local government and the local parliament and so president and parliament.In the context of democracy, people with disabilities is one of the people who are the actors in policy making. Participation of the population occurs not only in the electoral process, but also other places. It means that people with disabilities who certainly have interests, which interests will only be actulized if they are involved in political participation. Those which are strategic to realize is related with inclusive higher education by national policy instrument (UU). With the national policy, the rights of people with disability can be guaranted and protected to access the college.

The results of this research can be a special challenge in terms of including children in some future research to examine the problem of parents' pedagogical actions from both perspectives. The research findings can also be used in the context of the development of educational programmes that can be implemented through cooperation between schools and parents.

AbstractIn the past years, theoretical high-school education in Romania has gone through much public criticism regarding both the quality and the effectiveness of the instruction offered to students. An excessive focus on theory for most subjects and the neglect of the practical aspects/applications of the themes studied are known to have had negative effects on students’ motivation and their ability to choose a career and to adapt to the labour market requirements. The authors of this article intend primarily to briefly analyse some of the curricular aspects underlining this problem and to suggest some opportunities to offset this situation – opportunities derived from the business community and within the reach of the theoretical high-schools’ managers. In support of the proposed solutions, the authors are going to examine two types of initiatives implemented at the “Gheorghe Lazăr” National College from Sibiu: “training placement” in EU-funded Leonardo da Vinci projects and a “work-experience” type of initiative leading to a successful programme run every school year in cooperation with firms, institutions, and companies from Sibiu.

The research aims to increase the competing advantages of colleges in Jambi Province, Indonesia, through cooperation between Islamic colleges. The study introduced a model of organizational culture as a strategic value in creating an effective college governance system. Qualitative-type research by descriptive survey methods. In total, 3 rectors and 24 lecturers were interviewed, participated in focused group discussions, and observed. The results of the study showed that the increase in the competing excellence of Islamic colleges in Jambi consisted of increasing the value chain (value chain), which divided the organization into the various activities it was executing in designing, innovation of educational activities, program marketing, and achievements that educational output demonstrated. In addition, effective Organizational Culture became a critical success factor in teaching learning activities in classes as well as in roles as well as in school service. The research makes an important contribution to Islamic educational institutions in competitive college management models that have several stages namely: necessity analysis, planning design, implementation and development evaluation. The proposed model can be made a reference to policy amplifiers in order to increase the quality of higher education nationwide.

This study aimed to identify the learning styles and learning strategies among students under the Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English Program, College of Arts and Sciences and Teacher Education, Saint Joseph’s College of Baggao Inc. Descriptive research design was used in the study. Data from the 155 participants were gathered using the Perceptual Learning Styles Preference Questionnaire (PLSPQ) by Reid (1984) and the Strategy Inventory Language Learning (SILL) by Oxford (1990). Frequency, percentages, mean score, standard deviation, and Pearson Correlation were used in analyzing the data. Findings of the study showed that most of the participants are fourth year students, speak Ilocano and females. They studied in a public secondary school. It also showed that most of the participants used indirect strategies which include metacognition, being the most used strategy, followed by social and affective strategies. Furthermore, auditory learning is typically preferred, followed by kinesthetic and visual learning. Additionally, analysis shows a substantial correlation between the respondents’ profile factors and their language learning approaches and learning preferences. The study concludes that rather than requiring the cerebral processing of language learning, the participants promote language learning through focusing, planning, evaluating, seeking opportunities, reducing fear, boosting cooperation, and developing empathy. The students’ language learning methods and learning preferences are unaffected by the participant profiles.

Islamic Al-Amin Islamic Boarding School is a modern boarding school in Sindangkasih district of Ciamis regency. This pesantren has a large number of educators with most of the entrepreneurial spirit that is unfortunately not developed, but in reality, faces several obstacles. Teachers in pesantren are mostly young people who have high integrity and passion in performing their duties, besides they have a desire besides being an educator, they aspire to have their own business but with the condition do not interfere with teaching and learning routine it's their job. The reason for the desire to have this business is because the teachers in the pesantren are honorary staff who are not yet permanent employees. So the intent of this entrepreneurship is one way to improve their welfare by still not leaving their basic duty, namely to become professional educators. Looking at the potentials and problems of these partners, we took the initiative to conduct training focused on at-tajdid teachers regarding starting and developing an online business. Why online business? Because this company is a way out for they the problem of because online business activities do not take up their daily activities. The way to be done is to bring in speakers and trainers who are experts in running an online business. We are cooperating with Yubi Tasik community, yubi this is the community of people who have a business online that exist in official company yuk bisnis.com which happened to have a branch in Tasikmalaya. Hopefully, this cooperation will be a solution to the problems faced by teachers in pesantren Al-Amin Sindangkasih Islamic College of Ciamis Regency

The approach to the support of gifted and talented children and youth has changed considerably in the past twenty years. While, until the 2000s, provision programmes predominantly focused on extracurricular activities for pupils, gifted education now follows a systemic and inclusive approach, including all (educational) institutions – kindergarten, school, college and university – as well as the family, the economy, the working world and the community. Furthermore, there have been considerable efforts to provide for gifted children within the regular classroom by way of differentiation and individualised learning. This new approach to talent support was first outlined in 2011 in the “White Paper Promoting Talent and Excellence”, which the Austrian Research and Support Centre for the Gifted and Talented published in cooperation with the interministerial Giftedness Research and Gifted Education Task Force. The present article outlines the reasons that led to this new strategy, explains its main features and attempts an analysis of its strengths and weaknesses.

Professional outreach is an important responsibility of every member of the Human Factors & Ergonomics Society (HFES). By communicating information about our profession to outsiders, we increase visibility of the field, foster better understanding and hence increased cooperation from allied disciplines, promote sensitivity to user concerns, educate users to demand effectively designed products and services, and also, provide for continued recruitment of new generations into this discipline. This presentation focuses on the latter purpose, presentations intended to increase awareness of our profession among middle-, high school, and undergraduate college students. It uses a simple three-point framework to guide human factors professionals in preparing a clear, dynamic, relevant, and convincing presentation that can be delivered extemporaneously. The template is customized by the presenter who integrates his/her own experiences, and tailors it to the age group of the audience. This approach capitalizes upon the presenter's experience-based credibility and familiarity with personal examples, to ensure a presentation that is well received by young adult audiences.
