Повний текст джерелаThe painting of Victor Brauner (1903-1966) in French public collections cover a period which corresponds to his whole artistic evolution. As a matter of fact, his career started between the two world wars and ended right in the middle of the so called "consumer society". His own development follows the same track as surealism since he is a surrealist artist himself and was once one of its members. As many of them, he will also be rejected. Yet he will keep in many of his paintings some elements springing from his unconscious self which makes him belong to this movement, and at the same time, he will add (at the end of his work) some magic and symbolic aspects. For instance : he will melt heterogenous forms, hybrids, he will also resort to automatic writing, mythology and to mention references to non european civilisation. His whole life, on the side of the death and his work have been an illusion deprived of reality. Since he lost one of his eyes in 1938, he has meant to turn his pictural life to a visionnary dimension which he has endeavoured to translate into a symbolic language whose drawing is sharp and whose colours are vivid and fresh. Resorting to the most hidden part of the human being, his work would like to enhance the unreachable mechanism of the human mind

Повний текст джерелаGuys is "M G" from the art-critcism text by Baudelaire, le peintre de la vie moderne. Two opposite positions have been found. The French art historians do not admit Guys as the alone object studied, whereas the literature historians consider this artist as one origin of the Baudelarian poetic form renewed. Such a divergence is explained by the fact that the French public works are almost of a unic type, created after the Baudelaire'death. The poet stands as the once art critic having known Guys in the completeness of is art. Guys was, during eighteen years, the artist and chronicler, working for the first illustrated weekly paper throughout the world, the Illustrated London news. Then, he had to practice a new way of art : the immediat capture and the mental reconstruction of the instant, from the social facts, all over the European and the Middle-Eastern countries. His artist-reporter status obliges him to the anonimity. The Guys'art is deduced from the study of a reference group composed of authentic, dated or datable works, from private and public collections, French and foreign ones. The graphism and the materials have been analysed. The blue pigments have been identified, from microsamples, by Raman spectroscopy, because of their abundance and their diversity. This method demonstrated the Guys'blue palette extent, un discernable by the eyes. Changes in his art have been identified, and a reference catalog has been proposed. Our study on the works by guys, in their extent, shows that this artist must be considered as the releasing factor in the crystallisation processus for the new poetic form by Baudelaire

In the second half of the eighteenth century, the theatrical aesthetic has know a significant theoretical evolution. What is at stake, in this time, is the alternative between tradition's permanence and changing's attempt. Is such a change possible in the sceloresed institution of this period ? Are the theoreticians going to convince the costume's drawers to leave their habits ? Will the discussions around history's painting transform the theatre's costumes, and in the same time costumes drawing, to a neoclassic style ? Will fashion influence it ? These are the questions which will be discussed

Повний текст джерелаCreated by a decree on the 21st of December 1886, the first university plaster casts museum opened its doors in the Faculty of Arts in Bordeaux. In less than 20 years, similar museums were created in all the most important French universities, such as Montpellier, Toulouse, Lille, Paris, Lyon, Nancy. Minor collections took place in Aix-en-Provence, Besançon, Caen, Dijon, Grenoble, Poitiers and Rennes. Copies of Greek and Roman antiquity masterpieces, Egyptian and Oriental specimens, medieval and modern works of arts were in the same place, in the heart of higher education institutions. These museums were the symbol of the deep educational reform by the French Third Republic government, of the institutionalization of archeology and History of Arts. The context of great public rebuildings in the late 19th century when many “Palais des Facultés” were created, enabled the blooming of these collections. Greater buildings enabled the settlement of these collections. These were essential for the study of these subjects with scientific rigor, developed by the German system which had similar collections for almost a century. These museums were also the window of the archeological discoveries in Greece and Minor Asia in the 19th century, of new studies about the East, Egypt and Spain Iberian, of interest in Renaissance and modern art, in the recovery of medieval art. This study aims at tracing the building of plaster cast collections and their role in the French universities. It takes place in a particular historical context and deals with several subjects such as History, archeology and heritage

Повний текст джерелаDuring the last years of the 19th century, the first collections of greek, etruscan and italiot ceramics were created in the main french faculties of Humanities in Paris, Bordeaux, Lille, Lyon and Montpellier. Then collections were founded in the Universities of Nancy, Caen and Toulouse ; in 1919, after the Treaty of Versailles, the collection of the Strasbourg University became french. Those collections were created to support the classical archaeology teaching et were associated with plaster casts, books, photographs, glass plates and some others archaeological objects such as terracotas. Those greek, etruscan and italiot ceramics collections showed the strong french political action in favour of science during the Third Republic. Since 1875 the french government reformed the higher education system, gave important subsidies to create learning collections ; at the same period, classical archaeology got an academic status as it accesses the university. Those collections were often exposed next to the plaster casts, in the university buildings built during the 25 last years of the 19th century. The french state was the main contributor of the establishment of those archaeological collections : several ministers, higher education directors and national museums directors, helped by the Louvre museum, organised a lot of depositions in favour of the faculties of Humanities from 1894 to 1923 ; thanks to those antiquities, the professors were able to build an antiquarium to show various specimens of greek, etruscan an italiot ceramics. Those collections were usefull for the archaeological and historical teaching. Moreover they were indicative of the progressive assertion of the ceramological science. This study concerns the history of classical archeology and history of art teaching and their methods ; it also concerns the creation, the roles and the reception of a part of the university collections during the Third Republic

The aim of our investigation is to improve the field of curation and scientific exploitation of “human remains library”. In that way, we are developing specific tools which are dedicated to an amelioration of both definition and curation of anthropological series. The epistemological perspective of anthropological series is take into account and we are developing a new classification adapted to their scientific management. We are also proposing a curation system constituted by tree databases dedicated to the storage of data concerning collections, individuals and their associated paleopathological features based on Marseilles and Szeged Department of Anthropology of. A comparison with 40 different places of storage could have been realised. Furthermore, a bibliographical study allowed the identification of the main patterns of long term curation

Повний текст джерелаThe comprehension of the relegation of the human artifacts from the collections of the Museum d'Histoire naturelle (1797) requires connecting objects and knowledge. This issue understands better how the conditions of political production of scientific objects, revealed during the maritime expeditions and the revolutionary seizures, affect classifications. Two series will be connected : on the one hand the cognitive dimension of the collections raised by methodological problems, from a naturalist point of view which classifies through objects and, on the other hand, from the loss of the American possessions until the catch of Algiers, a colonial interval, which explores the Pacific and colonize it. The exclusion of the man-made objects would structure the deep time of the history of nature, while relegating the primitive in the margins of History, condemned to vanish or to be colonized. Behind this relegation, the vision of the Other changes turning from the savage into the primitive

Повний текст джерелаThis thesis examines the trajectory of non-European musical instruments acquired for Paris museums during the colonial period. It considers the effects of the patrimonialisation of these objects of use, which come from a variety of origins and acquisition contexts, on their material conservation from their acquisition at the end of the nineteenth century to the present day. Putting cultural artefacts into collections leads to the introduction of new procedures, sometimes far from those used for their previous purposes. These practices reflect the new functions assigned to the object, whose material preservation has become essential. The preservation of musical instruments raises specific questions relating to the evocation, maintenance and even reactivation of their functionality. In the case of non-European collections, these complex issues are combined with the problems of conserving and displaying an object that is culturally distant to both professionals and visitors. The paths taken by these relocated instruments, which are closely linked to the development of ethnology and to French and European colonial history, raise complex issues from the point of view of both the history of collections and public policy. Based on a historical and material analysis of a corpus of lutes held at the Musée de la Musique (Cité de la Musique - Philharmonie de Paris) and the Musée du Quai Branly - Jacques Chirac, acquired from 1872 onwards by the Instrumental Museum of the Conservatoire National de Musique and the Musée d'Ethnographie du Trocadéro, this research explores the links between museum traces and colonial memories. As the practitioner's gesture cannot be dissociated from the context in which it takes place, this dissertation aims to reposition museum practices in their historical and institutional contexts. The physical trace thus becomes a witness to the way in which these instruments are perceived, shedding light on the museum history of collections from colonial contexts at a time when new thinking, prompted by debates on their acquisition, is aiming to take ethical responsibility for these cultural artefacts

Повний текст джерелаTranslated as Zhongguo bai 中國白 in modern Chinese, the term “blanc de Chine” today refers to the white porcelain produced in Dehua kilns, situated in Fujian's coastal province, where production has continued since the Ming dynasty (1368-1644). Despite its prominent presence in French collections, research specifically dedicated to this porcelain remains limited, leaving key questions about its identification, origin, and dating unresolved. This dissertation, therefore, seeks to offer a new synthesis on blanc de Chine, beginning with its reception in Europe, then examining its dissemination, and finally tracing it back to its origins in production. Though unconventional or seemingly reversed in approach, this trajectory gradually brings us to essential questions, ultimately guiding us back to the origins of this porcelain. The aim of this dissertation is not, however, to write a complete history of blanc de Chine. Instead, it endeavors to integrate global and local perspectives to place this porcelain within its unique historical context. One fundamental question—simple in appearance yet widely debated—shapes this study: What are the specific characteristics of blanc de Chine? In other words, what precisely defines blanc de Chine? Among the tangible goals of this work are to enhance the appreciation of French collections and to promote the cultural value of dragon kilns, whose artisanal construction and firing techniques face extinction today

Повний текст джерелаThe media, by telling the world what is going on, turn themselves into places of collective memoryand of expression of interculturality. By speading a collective way of thinking, they give information about the social relationships, the way people think, the system of values and the representations which govern the different cultural communities. The intercultural representations express, often implicity, collective imaginaries, which constitute the bases of the collective identities of these different communities. Thus, the representations -process to acquire knownledge- contibute to the building up of social groups, of their interrelations and of their identities. Understanding the way they function and the part they play, by studying their wordings in the media, allows to better understand these processes of social and individual organization and structuring. The comparative analysis of the language used in french newspapers Libération and le Figaro, in 1984, focussing on the information related to economics and sport event, shed light both on the intercultural representations France has of Argentina, Brazil and Mexico, and on the discursive processes which convey them. The integration of an identitary speech into the language used by the media takes place through the choice of the events dealt with and through the way the information is tackled, thanks to strategies of expression of subjectivity. Becoming aware of the activ role of the representations in the constitution of the culture and of the influence of these representations over the behaviours and speeches can lead to an evolution of the social relationships. This awareness of a better understanding of the other can be applied to the teaching of languages and cultures, since the intercultural representations constitute a subject which, by giving access to the implicite references of the native speackers which codify their own way of speacking, can lead to a better intercultural communication

Повний текст джерелаDuring the French Revolution the Comtat Venaissin knew violent antagonisms. The political division in the papal enclave crystallized on the theme of union with France. A geographical cleavage appeared then opposing the area influenced by Avignon in favour of union to the rest of the Comtat. Different economic, social and cultural conditions accounted for this division. When the question of union was solved, violent demonstrations of revolutionary extremism provoked the split between patriots and the involvement of some of them in the federalist rebellion together with counter-revolutionists. The failure of the movement, the weight of terror, the demands of revolutionary state and the attachment to religion had collective options evolve toward positions unfavorable to the Revolution. Like the whole provencal south of France, the Comtat offered the lasting politic vision of contrasted options, antagonisms and reversals in political tendencies

Повний текст джерелаThe collective bargain is a legal notion welknown. But his existence in french system is really surprising. Usually, the justification of the binding effect from a rule is the individual will or the national sovereignty. Now, the collective bargain means that a rule could be compulsory because of the will of a private group : the trade union. This thesis shows how the presence of a professional law has been conceivable in french system. This research is explaining that the function of the industrial level has been decisive. The part one explains the problems which result from the presence of the profession in the french system, after the revolution of 1789. In fact, in theory, it's impossible to conceive one professional regulation in France, because of the revolutionary ideology. The second part proves clearly that the industrial level (in french : "la branche"), makes possible the production of the professionals rules

Повний текст джерелаIn France since the act I the decentralization in 1982, the local public investment is widely self-financed. The present research wonders from this point of view, on the economic rationality of the behavior of loan in an environment at first of non mobility, then mobility of the households and the companies. The first part of this thesis, brings two original theoretical contributions to the understanding of the local financial behavior by leaning on two axes. First of all in an environment of not mobility, this thesis shows that the model the decisive voter remains relevant in a context where on one hand the community offers durables goods (which engender recurring loads) and where she can borrow (wthat entails symmetrically recurring financial charges). The second part joins in a prospect econometric of analysis of the local financial behavior. First of all, the thesis confirms for the main part the model of request and intertemporal offer to the better public long-lasting premises stemming from the research and the watch, any equal things besides, that the dynamic specifications possess an explanatory power higher than the specifications in statics. Finally, establishing a link between the debts and the level of the investment of development, the model of stimultaneous equations concerning the debts and the investments concludes, in the sustainability of local public debt in France

Повний текст джерелаThe Brazilian photography collection of the Société française de photographie (SFP) consists of 150 photographs, produced between 1940 and 1950 by amateur photographers, formally associated with photo clubs in Brazil. Beyond aesthetic, geographical and institutional affiliations, these images can be divided into two different groups: those sent for participation in the International Salon of Photographic Art in 1951 and those exhibited in February 1960, as part of an exhibition on Brazilian photography, organized at Galerie Montalembert, supported by the SFP. The investigation around the Brazilian collection will involve the articulation of the different analytical paths. The first one corresponds to the process of creating and articulating the first photoclubs in the country, including the organization of the first national fair and the creation of a network between different entities. Concerning the notion of amateur photographer as a reference, the starting point is the "devout" and "deviant" duo proposed by Pierre Bourdieu. The second route addresses the question of the international vocation, a characteristic dear to the first institutions of this type and which remained a fundamental element in the middle of the 20th century. The main public event in the world of amateur photographic art is the fairs. The principles that link different groups of amateur photographers are reflected in the organization of these events based on exchange, thanks to an intense circulation of images, but also by ephemeral recognition. For the third chapter, the scale of the analysis is modified, moving from large events with hundreds of exhibitors to reading images from the specific collection. This is the moment when it will be possible to highlight the main products of the circulation and appropriation process involved in the insertion of amateur photographic art into the world. The fourth chapter focuses mainly on the analysis of the production of the photographers present in the two series (1951 and 1960). The intention is to identify changes and permanencies, seeking to link them to other aspects that have influenced production during this period

Повний текст джерелаRecent changes in the french social law conducted toi a dispute about the value and futurs of the usual centralised bargaining structure. The research studies why the french social law emphazised centralisation and how it tries and manages now to associate the centralised and decentralised models of social negotiation and collective bargaining. The research contests the usual explanation of the implementation of a specific legal gramework for collective agreement because of the limits of civil law. It points out that the sat of social laws (1936-1946-1950) originated a state-oriented and state dominated system of social regulations instead of genuine collective bargaining. Constant changes of the legal system (1982-1986-1987) show that adjustements are still difficult, as far as companies need mors flexibility thay develop new practices and decentralisation is at its maximum, often by using back again civil law instead of social law if it is more convenient; the system characterizes itself now by the maximum of inconsistency and complexity. As a final result, employers, unions and governement have to face, through the crisis of the legal framework of collective bargaining, the so-called crisis of social law

Повний текст джерелаIn the last years, the French and Chinese Bankruptcy law has been quite changed. So has the profession of « Judicial administrators » (administrateurs judiciaires), with more or less success. Both the successes and failures of these changements have drawn our attention. Our scope is to analyse the evolution of this profession in the perspective of its modernisation in the today's context of a global economy. There was no specific Chinese Bankruptcy law until the publication of the new law of August 27th 2006 on Enterprise Bankruptcy. The new law which has been prepared for 12 years has brought some remarkable improvements to the existing law of 1986 and has been a major effort to build up a complete legal system in line with the modern open market economy. One of the most remarkable features of the new 2006 law has been the implementation of the « Judicial administrators » profession. Nevertheless, the « Judicial administrators » profession, who was established within the Bankruptcy Law, which has itself been defined quite recently, must only be considered but as an initial framework for the profession. Yet, as the « Judicial administrators » plays an important role in the Bankruptcy Law, making research on this subject appears to be both necessary and urgent. Our hope is to help transforming the « Judicial administrators » profession into a « liberal profession », similarly to their equivalents in the French system. We therefore analyse successively the juridical nature of the profession, from an historical point of view and in the perspective of the « effective law » (droit positif), the access conditions to this profession, its remuneration, the involved functions and responsibilities in both the French and Chinese law

Повний текст джерелаThe purpose of this study is to provide an economic representation of french trade unions ( economic means here that this representation uses the concepts of economic theory). This representation must be as complete as possible and take in account the different activities of french trade unions: collective bargaining, social and political activities. In usa, as well in great Britain, there are today lots of analysis about trade unions. They give us a real orthodox theory of collective bargaining between trade unions and employers. But the analysis, on one hand, of this models, and, on the other hand, of French collective bargaining ( in the eighties), shows that this theory can't represent French trade unions, even in their bargaining function. The study shows that the different limits of orthodox theory don't appear in a political institution model. Then, the trade union is seen as a politi cal institution which acts both on political and economic markets. The model that is proposed shows that such a presentation seems to be very relevant to the french case and it can even provide an explanation to the crise that actually face trade unions in our country

The second part examines the constitutional functions of the collective agreement. Indeed, convention is sometimes authorized to replace the public standards or to derogate from these same standards since it is more favourable to the workers. Thus, it is possible to distinguish the two principal functions from the conventional standard : a function of substitution and a function of exemption. It aims to study the exploration and the conquest of Africa at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. During this period, European countries sent in the different parts of the continent many explorers to colonize the population. Those explorers had different social classes and jobs. Among them, there were, for example, religious persons, administrators and soldiers. It is the colonial action of the French officers in the different countries of Africa (Mali, Senegal, Congo, Chad, Central Africa Republic…) that is studing. During the exploration travel, the colonial officers discovered in those countries different kinds of objects. According of the instructions they received in France before their travel, they collected the local objects as the arms, the royal objects, the music objects, the cooking objects, the objects of the traditional ceremony. It’s interesting to study where the objects provided and the conditions of the collect. It’s a best way to know the particularities of the result of the officers discoveries. At the end of the journey in Africa, the officers brought to France the result of the collect and offered the objects to the French museums as the Musée de l’Homme, the Musée de l’Armée. Today, the Musée du Quai Branly is conserving the documents about the exploration travels of many officers (Archinard, Brazza, Marchand, Tilho, Lenfant…) and some of the objects they had collected for studying the customs of the African populations. We interroged about 1500 objects they had collected. The history of those objects is associated to the Africa colonization history. Nowadays, those objects constitute a colonial heritage and permit to analyze the European vision and the military perception about the African material culture and to know the degree of the civilization of the African populations who made and used those objects in Africa at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th

In the first part, we assume that the union system constitutes a separate legal order outside of the state legal order. The concept of collective autonomy helps to define this order which draws from the capacity of the parties to the industrial relations process to enact their own legal norms. The state does not remain passive with regard to this independent domain of legal creation. It attempts to integrate it in its own legal structure. To grasp this interference of the state order into the industrial order, we content that the introduction in law of the concept of representative capacity constitutes a means of communication between the orders in question. In the second part, we study the emergence of a category of collective agreements at the enterprise level, which are labeled as management agreements. Their unique characteristic is to have control over individual worker rights

Повний текст джерелаThe present thesis is a case study of pseudo-Antigonus’ of Carystos text, Collection of Extraordinary Stories, which belongs in the so-called « genre » of paradoxography. This edition is the first to be translated and fully annotated in French, directly from the ancient Greek. On the base of pseudo-Antigonus’ text, the reader is familiarized with the writing techniques of a paradoxographer, such as condensation and rewriting, through which a new, original work is created. Additionally, this thesis provides a redefinition of paradoxography, which is accomplished through a lexical inquiry of technical terms and a comparison to the Mirabilium Auscultationes, a pseudo-Aristotelian work often associated with pseudo-Antigonus

Повний текст джерелаThis study aims to understand, from a comparative point of view, how French and Korean labour laws treat the collective dimension of the world of work. Collective representation of workers evolves according to the problems caused by the forces of economic and social change. Under French law, the power of representation has moved to the workplace level. This is supported by the successive promotion of negociation at this level. Unde Korean law, representation shifts to the national level in order to find a point of balance between economic and social issues. The Korean chimerical centralization, deprived of real bases, contrasts with the French perilous decentralization which, lacking of central coordination, risk to engender a territorialisation of the social war

Повний текст джерелаThis Ph. D. dissertation investigates images of Native Americans displayed at the Paris Salons and in the Fine Art sections of the Great Exhibitions of 1855, 1868, 1878, 1889 and 1900. My analysis starts with the first outbreak of the theme at the 1781 Salon and ends following its gradual dismissal at the beginning of the First World War. The body of artworks I analyze documents three main campaigns of representation marked by the history of Native Americans and Whites relations. These representations reveal an artistic figure both attractive and repulsive at the same time. The rhetoric of the disappearance of the “Noble Indian” alternates with degrading images of the “Savage Indians”. Our study reveals the origins of collective imagination and racial stereotypes that originate representations of “Indians”. But this iconography is also based on artists’ itinerancies and their migration to the West in order to meet their models. The artistic production of this small group of French and American artists can not be reduced exclusively to the two aesthetic patterns previously discussed. Their travels on the North American territory and their attention to Native American Art encourage new artistic horizons at the Paris venues. This thesis is also an opportunity to study the image of the Native American “Others” displayed in the competitive Fine Art sections of the Great Exhibitions. It brings out a discourse promoting the figure of the “Indian” to build an American art with its own aesthetic in response to French artistic influences

Повний текст джерелаThis thesis entitled The literary canon and the advent of mass culture. The book series "Les Grands Écrivains Français" (1887-1913) examines the state of the literary canon in the late nineteeth century and early twenthieth century, when French society sees the advent of mas culture. To do this, we have chosen as the subject a series of monographs published by Hachette, under the coordination of the historian and diplomat Jean Jules Jusserand. Trying to answer at the same time a question of content (what is the literary canon promoted by this collection ?) and a question of method (how to reach a collection ?), our work is divided into several parts (a brief presentation of the collection and an assessment of its success and of its reception, an intellectual history of Jusserand as series editor, its "author", an examination of the physical characteristics of the series and of the target audience "the common reader", who began to assert itself as representative of the mass culture, a detailed presentation of volumes in the collection according to their distribution by "literary centuries"). The fifth part is trying to make the point of this analysis, seeking to answer key questions such as the problem of "great writer" and the problem of "literature" as elaborated by Jusserand collection. In this case, one could argue that the concept of writer has a greater extension than usual, similar to a "man of letters" and litterature is seen as a unifying discourse, wich must unite the community around the national idea. The last part tries to put into perspective the French series, comparing in to two other similar book series (British and American)

Повний текст джерелаThe book collections called "popular" for their small formats and inexpensive prices multiplied during the nineteenth century in france and europe. An editor, gervais charpentier, created a flourishing movement of "popular" books by organizing a veritable editorial revolution. The invention of a new format - called "in-18 jesus velin" - lowered the price of a compact volume by 25% and founded a new genre of editorial practice: the collection in the form of a "library" which assembled several literary categories including the classics, contemporary authors, and educational works. Each category created its own reading public, a loyal readership dedicated to compiling a part or all of a series. Two dominant models shared in the production of these collections: the type pioneered by charpentier and the type adopted later by the workers' collective that launched the "bibliotheque nationale" in the format "in-32" whose price varied from 0,25 to 1 franc. These collections would reach a varied public - the intellectual elite, bourgeois women, working-class autodidacts, and peasants alike - by a massive utilization of all the circuits of diffusion (libraries, colportage, book stations, direct sales, etc. ) and by attention lavished upon the material quality of the book and its public - a great diligence toward the quality of

Повний текст джерелаThis thesis focuses on the analysis of French scientific missions in the Caucasus region and the collections brought back to France following these expeditions. The study covers the period from the mid-19th century to the early 20th century, before the major political changes of the 1910s-1920s. The primary focus is on the scientific missions mandated by the Ministry of Public Instruction, without neglecting collections from non-scientific journeys or antiquarians. This research highlights the interest of the French scientific community in the Caucasus in the 19th century, as well as the motivations of the researchers who went there and the work they conducted in the field. Another priority of this study was to examine the archaeological, ethnographic, and photographic collections held in various museums and archives in France. To do this, an inventory of a database of Caucasian collections and the collection of biographical information on French researchers who contributed to these missions was necessary. The contribution of these collections to the reflection on cultural transfers between the Caucasus and France is also examined. The ultimate goal was the identification and study of these collections for their future integration into museography, highlighting the names of researchers and photographers whose journeys in the Caucasus were previously unknown

The question is analyzed for both, French and German Law. The first part is about how titis social change is being reflected by the transformation of the concepts serving to ttleasure the value of work. Повний текст джерелаSince the invention of haute couture at the end of the XIXth century until today, the fashion world has been one of the professional sectors where the collectors are the most numerous. This raises the question of whether there is a specific type of collectionnism among the fashion collectors, and if so, how is it structured and how has it evolved. If this is the first line of research chosen to analyze these relationships, it is certainly not the only one but it cannot be understood without addressing, more widely other forms of collaboration between all the peripheral creative actors in this field. Indeed, collectionism is part of the network of relationships between leading fashion designers, or leaders of luxury goods companies, artists, art dealers, gallery owners, journalists, critics, photographers and clients of both sectors, etc. To do so, we have chosen three examples of collectionism that have in common the fact that they have marked their era, contemporary fashion and the ‘spirit’ of collection: those of Jacques Doucet, the couple Pierre Bergé and Yves Saint Laurent and Bernard Arnault through the brand Louis Vuitton and the Louis Vuitton Foundation. This thesis proposes to analyze and explore collectionism from the point of view of the collector but also, to place these collections at the same time in their respective era, in their filiations, in the history of art and fashion history

Повний текст джерелаThe "collection des mémoires relatifs à la Révolution française", also known as "collection Barrière et Berville", was the most extensive french collection of contemporary memoirs published in the 1820s. Nonetheless, this book series has never been considered by scholars as an object of study of its own right. This thesis points out the editorial context, the form and content of the memoirs as well as the readers' reactions and the apporpriations of individual narratives by the first historians of the french revolution. By enlightening the personal, political, economic and social context of the collection, the thesis argues that the Revolution is an event that was partly created in retrospect by its actors and witnesses, but also by the publishers and readers of memoirs during the restoration period
