Повний текст джерелаUm dos maiores desafios atuais da humanidade reside nos atuais métodos de gestão e avaliação de impactos referentes a diversos processos dentro da cadeia produtiva de bens de consumo que são cada vez mais exigidos pela vida contemporânea. Neste ponto, os Resíduos de Equipamentos Elétricos e Eletrónicos (REEE), irão gerar em 2020, cerca de 53,6 milhões de toneladas, o que significa um total de 7,3 kg por pessoa em todo o planeta. Contudo, apenas 17,4% (9,3Mt) são adequadamente reciclados, e representam um potencial na economia de 10 mil milhões de dólares, através de mecanismos de economia circular, aumentando a sustentabilidade do ciclo em todos os níveis.Mediante as tendências globais de crescimento desta corrente de resíduo, impulsionados pela disseminação da tecnologia da informação, fazem necessária uma abordagem ligada à sustentabilidade para ultrapassar os desafios da gestão atual de REEE. Este trabalho consistiu em analisar o ponto de situação referido à gestão de resíduos e equipamentos elétricos e eletrónicos na Universidade de Coimbra (UC) através de uma visão de empreendedorismo estratégico. Conduzido primeiramente sobre uma abordagem de inteligência empresarial, que analisa o ponto de situação atual da UC que elencou as etapas do Ciclo-de-Vida (CdV) dos EEE em aquisição, classificação, utilização, avarias, recuperação, armazenamento e abate de REEE. Assim, a informação foi recolhida e com a colaboração dos Serviços de Gestão do Edificado, Segurança e Ambiente (SGESA) dividiu as fases de gestão de REEE dentro da própria UC, compilando mais recentemente algumas informações relevantes sobre as 155 toneladas que foram devidamente recolhidas entre 2006 e 2019.Ao compreender o papel sustentável das Instituições de Ensino Superior (IES) na construção de conhecimento e na formação de parcerias para ultrapassar os desafios contemporâneos, foram selecionadas 4 IES de reputação internacional na temática: Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology e a Universidade Estadual de São Paulo. Assim foi realizando um benchmarking que comparou e reuniu as principais tendências disponíveis na literatura online, bem como iniciativas e projetos que disseminaram de forma eficiente uma gestão de REEE sustentável e inclusiva em todas as IES analisadas. A análise estratégica SWOT, que reúne as Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities e as Threats foi posteriormente executada com base no último Plano Estratégico do Conselho Geral da UC, mencionando a sua contextualização e suas inclinações estruturais. Assim, aproveitou-se toda a situação corrente de projetos e know-how para conduzir uma análise TOWS, que separou 4 categorias de ação estratégica, separando as vertentes Expand, Catch Up, Secure e Minimize que pretendem auxiliar os gestores da UC a tomar decisões de forma qualificada. Como a Universidade de Coimbra (UC) é uma instituição tradicional e que elencou diversos níveis de crescimento na sua investigação e desenvolvimento, fez sua uma abordagem sobre a situação dos REEE de uma forma global e localizada, atingindo todas as vertentes da sustentabilidade. Compilando a informação dentro da temática e foi proposto um Plano de Ação Sustentável de REEE dentro da UC. Este plano visa guiar esforços não só na gestão interna, mas na atuação em todo o fluxo de REEE na academia, para aproveitar o ambiente de inovação e sustentabilidade favorável.
Humanity's current challenges lies in the current methods of management and impact assessment related to various processes within the productive chain of consumer goods that are increasingly required by contemporary life. At this point, Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) will generate, in 2020, about 53.6 million tons, which means a total of 7.3 kg per person worldwide. However, only 17.4% (9.3Mt) are properly recycled, and represent a potential savings of US $ 10 billion, through circular economy mechanisms, increasing the sustainability of the cycle at all levels.Through the global growth trends of this waste stream, driven by the dissemination of information technology and linked to sustainability, is necessary to overcome the challenges of current WEEE management. This work consisted of analysing the situation regarding this WEEE flow management at the University of Coimbra (UC) through a vision of strategic entrepreneurship. Conducted primarily on a business intelligence approach, which analyses the current situation of the University of Coimbra (UC) that listed the stages of the Life Cycle (LC) in the acquisition, classification, use, damage, recovery, storage and disposal of WEEE. Thus, the information was collected and with the collaboration of the Building, Security and Environment Management Services (SGESA) divided the WEEE management phases at the UC itself, more recently compiling some relevant information about the 155 tons that were properly collected between 2006 and 2019.By understanding the sustainable role of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in building knowledge and forming partnerships to overcome contemporary challenges, four HEIs with an international reputation in the theme were selected: Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology and the State University of São Paulo. Thus, a benchmarking was carried out that compared and gathered the main trends available in the online literature, as well as initiatives and projects that efficiently disseminated a sustainable and inclusive WEEE management in all the HEIs analysed.The SWOT strategic analysis, which brings together Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats, was subsequently carried out based on the latest Strategic Plan of the UC General Counsel, mentioning its contextualization and its structural inclinations. Thus, the current situation of projects and know-how was used to conduct a TOWS analysis, which separated four categories of strategic action, separating the Expand, Catch Up, Secure and Minimize strands that intend to help UC managers to make decisions rightly.As the University of Coimbra (UC) is a traditional institution and has listed several levels of growth in its research and development, it has taken an approach on the situation of WEEE in a global and localized way, reaching all aspects of sustainability. Compiling the information within the theme and a WEEE Sustainable Action Plan was proposed within the UC. This plan aims to guide efforts not only in internal management but in the performance of the entire WEEE flow in the academy, to take advantage of the favourable environment of innovation and sustainability.

Повний текст джерелаCreating a brand of success in the times that take place, in a world saturated with fashion brands is a challenge, however, there is a constant need in society for newness and consequently for creating new brands and products according to the desires and needs of the consumer . In the case of the premium brand market, certain shortcomings have been identified, in particular regarding the criteria that should govern the design and creation of a premium fashion brand, so that it will succeed in the market. Thus, the object of study of this dissertation were the premium fashion brands. The realization of this study began with the introduction of theory and concepts related to fashion brands, their main characteristics and elements of creation. It was also approached the construction of the identity of a premium brand, evidencing the development of the diagram, the positioning, and the strategy of the same. Next, an analysis of several premium fashion brands was carried out, identifying the construction models and their strategies in the market. In addition to the analysis of elements related to branding strategies of fashion brands, aspects related to the area of fashion design were also discussed, such as the planning and production of clothing, as well as environmental sustainability in this context and its importance in the economy Circular. Finally, a premium fashion brand, CASK, was created and a first collection of clothing was developed, putting into practice all the elements previously identified, both at the level of fashion design and at the level of branding. The study resulting from this dissertation allowed us to contribute to the literature in the field of study of premium brands, identifying criteria and strategies that must be present in the creation of a brand in this segment. The practical component of this study, demonstrated the importance of the various criteria and strategies applied in the area of premium fashion brands, and resulted in the effective creation of a brand for implementation in the market.

Повний текст джерелаO impacto dos resíduos plásticos no ambiente tem sido cada vez mais alarmante e reconhecido como potencialmente irreversível. Não obstante, tentativas empreendedoras podem mudar ativamente as sinergias da indústria do plástico que, em parte, dominam a economia global. O objectivo desta dissertação é investigar como é que o nascimento de Moana, uma start-up portuguesa que produz quilhas para pranchas de surf totalmente de plástico reciclado, pode contribuir para influenciar as sinergias da indústria do plástico a nível micro, implementando um modelo de negócio artesanal. Para controlar a viabilidade deste conceito em alternativa à produção de quilhas ecológicas para prancha de surf existente, segmentos de clientes foram definidos através de uma análise de questionários. Com o mesmo propósito, foi feita uma análise comparativa da concorrência e foi explorado um processo de produção tecnologicamente único. Posteriormente, os resultados forneceram informações crucias sobre a viabilidade da Moana. O nível competitivo não é agressivo e a tecnologia usada para produção é económica e fácil de utilizar. Além disso, a proximidade para com os clientes é vital para garantir que os surfistas com práticas sustentáveis recebam o conhecimento e o espírito de comunidade necessários para criar consciência e mudar a sua percepção sobre o plástico. Em conclusão, a Moana demonstra ser viável como uma start-up repleta de potencial. Se executado com empenho, pode vir a ser um exemplo de liderança e, eventualmente, oferecer a oportunidade de replicar o seu modelo de negócio em futuras tentativas empreendedoras em inúmeras indústrias.
