When switching tasks, performance tends to be worse for n – 2 repetitions than with n – 2 switches. This n – 2 repetition cost has been hypothesized to reflect task-set inhibition: specifically, inhibition of irrelevant category–response mappings involved in response selection. This hypothesis leads to divergent predictions for situations in which all tasks involve the same stimulus categories: An n – 2 repetition cost is predicted when response sets differ across tasks, but not when the response set stays the same. The authors tested these predictions by having subjects perform relative judgements with different reference points. In Experiment 1, the stimulus categories were the same across reference points, but the response set either differed or stayed the same (the multiple- and single-mapping conditions, respectively). An n – 2 repetition cost was found in the multiple-mapping condition but not in the single-mapping condition. Experiment 2 provided evidence against the possibility that these divergent effects reflected differences in memory load. These findings confirm predictions that link n – 2 repetition costs to inhibition of irrelevant category–response mappings.

Object It has been hypothesized that a certain degree of specialization exists within language areas, depending on some specific lexical repertories or categories. To spare hypothetical category-specific cortical areas and to gain a better understanding of their organization, the authors studied patients who had undergone electrical stimulation mapping for brain tumors and they compared an object-naming task with a category-specific task (color naming). Methods Thirty-six patients with no significant preoperative language deficit were prospectively studied during a 2-year period. Along with a reading task, both object- and color-naming tasks were used in brain mapping. During color naming, patients were asked to identify 11 visually presented basic colors. The modality specificity of the colornaming sites found was subsequently tested by asking patients to retrieve the color attributes of objects. High individual variability was observed in language organization among patients and in the tasks performed. Significant interferences in color naming were found in traditional language regions—that is, Broca (p < 0.003) and Wernicke centers (p = 0.05)—although some color-naming areas were occasionally situated outside of these regions. Color-naming interferences were exclusively localized in small cortical areas (< 1 cm2). Anatomical segregation of the different naming categories was apparent in 10 patients; in all, 13 color-specific naming areas (that is, sites evoking no object-naming interference) were detected in the dominant-hemisphere F3 and the supramarginal, angular, and posterior parts of the temporal gyri. Nevertheless, no specific brain region was found to be consistently involved in color naming (p > 0.05). At five sites, although visually presented color-naming tasks were impaired by stimulation, auditory color naming (for example, “What color is grass?”) was performed with no difficulty, showing that modality-specific areas can be found during naming. Conclusions Within language areas, a relative specialization of cortical language areas for color naming can be found during electrical stimulation mapping.

The present study is devoted to describe the concepts of continuous mapping, open mapping and closed mapping by using soft points on intuitionistic fuzzy topological spaces. Along, continuous mapping, open mapping and closed mapping on intuitionistic fuzzy topological spaces and their characterizations are also introduced. At the end, some of the crucial properties of the proposed concepts are investigated. Taking advantage of intuitionistic fuzzy topology, we obtain the family of soft topologies and normal topologies. It is clear that the category of intuitionistic fuzzy topological spaces is an extension both the category of soft topological spaces and the category of topological spaces.

For certain mappings of 2-complexes φ: ⃗ℒ (”strong mappings”) one gets an induced mapping φst: st⃗ℒst of the associated star-complexes. Then st is a covariant functor from the category of 2-complexes (where the morphisms are strong mappings) to the category of 1-complexes, and this functor behaves very nicely with respect to coverings (Theorem 1).

Abstract Using two natural axioms on track triangles in triangulated track category we show that the mapping cone construction is functorial, i.e., principal maps between mapping cones in a triangulated category can be identified with the homotopy classes of homotopy pairs. This result is applied to obtain an algebraic model of the category of principal maps between 2-stage spectra.

This development research aims to produce an E-Mind Mapping learning media based on flipbook physics for grade 11 high school students on equilibrium and rotational dynamics, elasticity and Hooke's law, as well as static and dynamic fluids. This research is a development research (R&D) using the R2D2 (Recursive, Reflective Design and Development model) model with the stages, namely, determining learning materials, analyzing needs, developing learning materials, compiling E-Mind Mapping concepts, editing materials into. e-learning. mind mapping and combining it into a flipbook, production, validation and testing, revision and refinement. However, in this study, it was only carried out until the validation stage. The results of the study show that the material displayed in this flipbook-based E-Mind Mapping has met the eligibility criteria in the very good category, and the flipbook-based E-Mind Mapping learning media has met the eligibility criteria in the good category. Overall, the flipbook-based E-Mind Mapping learning media has met the eligibility criteria in the good category.

Traditional autosegmental accounts of tone mapping invoke three independent factors: morphological category, tone quality, and a phonological directionality parameter. This article argues that the evidence for phonological directionality must be reconsidered. The article introduces a theory of Optimal Tone Mapping, in which attested patterns derive solely from the interaction of morphological directionality with quality-sensitive markedness constraints. The more restrictive theory of tone association that results from eliminating constraints that impose phonological directionality provides a new typology of tone melody languages.

In the present paper, we will propose the novel notions (e.g., Q p -closed set, Q p -open set, Q p -continuous mapping, Q p -open mapping, and Q p -closed mapping) in topological spaces. Then, we will discuss the basic properties of the above notions in detail. The category of all Q p -closed (resp. Q p -open) sets is strictly between the class of all preclosed (resp. preopen) sets and g p -closed (resp. g p -open) sets. Also, the category of all Q p -continuity (resp. Q p -open ( Q p -closed) mappings) is strictly among the class of all precontinuity (resp., preopen (preclosed) mappings) and g p -continuity (resp. g p -open ( g p -closed) mappings). Furthermore, we will present the notions of Q p -closure of a set and Q p -interior of a set and explain some of their fundamental basic properties. Several relations are equivalent between two different topological spaces. The novel two separation axioms (i.e., Q p - ℝ 0 and Q p - ℝ 1 ) based on the notion of Q p -open set and Q p -closure are investigated. The space of Q p - ℝ 0 (resp., Q p - ℝ 1 ) is strictly between the spaces of pre- ℝ 0 (resp., pre- ℝ 1 ) and g p - ℝ o (resp., g p - ℝ 1 ). Finally, some relations and properties of Q p - ℝ 0 and Q p - ℝ 1 spaces are explained.

Objective: to find out the conditions of practice and mapping related to the category of community pharmacy practices in Padangsidimpuan City. Methods: The study was conducted by distributing assessment rubrics directly to 30 pharmacists in charge of pharmacies in the city of Padangsidimpuan. Data is the identity and choice of respondents for 2 or 3 descriptions of the level of compliance with each three-point scale; 0, 2 and 4 for each element. The level of fulfillment of standards consists of 7 categories based on cumulative points, and based on the average of points from each of the 5 standard aspects, including; professionalism, managerial, dispensing, pharmaceutical care, and public health services, depicted in spider web diagrams. This research was conducted in August - October 2019. Results: Mapping the results of the pharmacy practice category to 30 community pharmacy practices in Padangsidimpuan, among others: 8 pharmacies received excellent categories, 5 pharmacies of good categories, 3 pharmacies of adequate categories, 3 pharmacies of poor categories, 5 pharmacies of substandard categories, 5 pharmacies of the category not feasible, 1 category pharmacy is not very feasible.Conclusion: The average level of compliance with pharmacy practice standards in the city of Padangsidimpuan is included in the sub-standard category. Based on the average standard aspect points, professionalism has less categories, managerial has enough categories, dispensing enough categories, and pharmaceutical care is lacking categories and public health services have sub-standard categories.

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan minat belajar, kemampuan siswa membuat Mind Mapping, dan hasil belajar siswa dengan model Direct Instruction berbasis Mind Mapping pada pembelajaran IPA di SMP Negeri 3 Kepahiang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII D SMP Negeri 3 Kepahiang tahun pelajaran 2018/2019 yang berjumlah 25 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket untuk melihat minat belajar siswa, lembar test untuk melihat hasil belajar siswa dan lembar tugas untuk melihat kemampuan siswa membuat Mind Mapping. Berdasarkan hasil tes evaluasi pada penelitian pertemuan 1 diperoleh hasil belajar siswa dalam kategori sangat kurang. Pertemuan 2 diperoleh hasil belajar siswa dalam kategori sangat kurang. Pada pertemuan 3 diperoleh hasil belajar siswa dalam kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil angket minat pada pertemuan 1 rata-rata persentase minat belajar dalam kategori kurang. Pada pertemuan 2 persentase rata-rata minat belajar Siswa dalam kategori kurang. Pada pertemuan 3 persentase rata-rata minat belajar siswa dalam kategori baik. Berdasarkan hasil lembar tugas membuat mind mapping pada pertemuan 1 diperoleh skor rata-rata kelas dalam kategori sangat kurang. Pertemuan 2 diperoleh skor rata-rata dalam kategori baik. Pada pertemuan 3 diperoleh skor rata-rata kelas siswa dalam kategori baik. Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran Direct Instruction, Minat Belajar, Hasil Belajar, Mind Mapping. ABSTRACT This study aims to describe student’s interest, ability in making mind mapping, and learning outcomes of students with a mind mapping based direct learning model in science learning in SMPN 3Kepahiang. The research method used was descriptive qualitative. The research subjects were students of class VII D SMP Negeri 3 Kepahiang 2018/2019 school year who received 25 students. The technique of collecting data using a questionnaire to see student learning interests, test sheets to see student learning outcomes and task sheets to see the ability of students to make mind mapping. Based on the results of testing in the first meeting research obtained student learning outcomes in the very less category. The second meeting obtained student learning outcomes in very fewer categories. In the third meeting, the students' learning outcomes were obtained in a very good category. Based on the results of the questionnaire interest in the first meeting the average percentage of interest in learning in the category was less. At the second meeting, the percentage of students' average interest in learning is in the less category. At the third meeting, the percentage of students' average interest in learning is in a good category. Based on the results of the assignment sheet making mind mapping at the first meeting, the average score in the category is very bad. The second meeting obtained an average score in the good category. At the third meeting, the average score of the students in the good category was obtained. Objective The UK Biobank provides a rich collection of longitudinal clinical data coming from different healthcare providers and sources in England, Wales, and Scotland. Although extremely valuable and available to a wide research community, the heterogeneous dataset contains inconsistent medical terminology that is either aligned to several ontologies within the same category or unprocessed. To make these data useful to a research community, data cleaning, curation, and standardization are needed. Significant efforts to perform data reformatting, mapping to any selected ontologies (such as SNOMED-CT) and harmonization are required from any data user to integrate UK Biobank hospital inpatient and self-reported data, data from various registers with primary care (GP) data. The integrated clinical data would provide a more comprehensive picture of one’s medical history. Materials and methods We evaluated several approaches to map GP clinical Read codes to International Classification of Diseases (ICD) and Systematized Nomenclature of Medicine Clinical Terms (SNOMED CT) terminologies. The results were compared, mapping inconsistencies were flagged, a quality category was assigned to each mapping to evaluate overall mapping quality. Results We propose a curation and data integration pipeline for harmonizing diagnosis. We also report challenges identified in mapping Read codes from UK Biobank GP tables to ICD and SNOMED CT. Discussion and conclusion Some of the challenges–the lack of precise one-to-one mapping between ontologies or the need for additional ontology to fully map terms–are general reflecting trade-offs to be made at different steps. Other challenges are due to automatic mapping and can be overcome by leveraging existing mappings, supplemented with automated and manual curation.

This research aims to explain the application of mind mapping method to improve narration writing skills in Indonesian language subject of fifth grade elementary school students. This is a classroom action research, it consists of three cycles and each cycle was conducted in two sessions. The procedures include planning, executing, observation, and reflection. The research focus was mind mapping method implementation and narration writing learning results. This research was conducted in State Elementary School 24 Lapajung, Lalabata District, Soppeng Regency. The research subjects were 1 teacher and 40 students. The data collection techniques involved observation, test, and documentation. The collected data were analyzed using Mile and Huberman’s methods which include data reduction; data presentation; conclusion drawing; and data verification. The research results showed that teacher’s activity in cycle I belong to sufficient category (C), in cycle II it became good category (B), and in cycle III it became very good category (SB). Similarly, in students’ activity, the results showed that in cycle I it belonged to sufficient category (C), and in cycle II and cycle III it increased to very good category (SB). This was followed by an improvement in students’ learning achievements which in cycle I and cycle II belonged to sufficient category (C) became good category in cycle III. Therefore, the mind mapping method implementation can improve narration writing skills in students of State Elementary School 24 Lapajung.

In pursuing the mapping between syntax and phonology/prosody, little attention has been paid to the kinds of syntactic information that can affect prosody. In this paper, we explore Japanese downstep, a process in phrasal phonology. What syntactic information affects downstep and what does not? Specifically, do lexical categories affect downstep? We investigate the effects of nouns, adjectives, and verbs in different syntactic settings (e.g., [X1 [X2 N]], [[X1 X2] N], predicative X) through production experiments. We found that adjectives in [X1 [X2 N]] may block downstep, whereas adjectives in other structures as well as nouns and verbs generally do not block it. We analyze this phonological patterning as being derivative of an interaction between syntactic structures and lexical categories.

Communication Research field has an extraordinary growth pattern, indeed bigger than other research fields. In order to extract knowledge from such amount, intelligent techniques are needed. In such a way, using bibliometric techniques, the evolution of the conceptual, social and intellectual aspects of this research field could be analysed, and hence, understood. Although the communication research field has been widely analysed using bibliometric techniques and science mapping tools, a conceptual analysis of the whole communication research field is still needed. Therefore, this article introduces the first science mapping analysis in the communication research field based on the Web of Science Subject Category "Communication," showing its conceptual structure and scientific evolution. SciMAT, a bibliometric science mapping software tool based on co-word analysis and h-index, is applied using a sample of 33.627 research documents from 1980 to 2013 published in 74 main communication journals indexed in the Journal Citation Reports of the Web of Science. The results show that research conducted in the communication research is concentrated on the following sixteen disconnected thematic areas: “children”, “psychological aspects”, “news”, “audience”, “surveys”, “advertising”, “health”, “relationship”, “gender”, “discourse”, “telephone communication”, “public relation”, “telecommunications”, “public opinion”, “activism” and “internet”. These areas have progressively disconnected among them, which drives to a Communication field relatively fragmented. El campo científico de la comunicación ha experimentado un enorme crecimiento a lo largo de los años, superando incluso a algunas áreas científicas consagradas. Mediante el uso de técnicas bibliométricas, podemos analizar la evolución conceptual, social e intelectual de esta área, así como comprenderla. En particular, el área de «Comunicación» ha sido ampliamente estudiada desde un punto de vista bibliométrico, pero no se ha realizado un análisis conceptual global del área englobado en un marco longitudinal. En este sentido, este artículo muestra el primer análisis de mapas científicos del área de investigación de la comunicación basándose en la Categoría de la Web of Science «Communication», centrándose en la estructura conceptual y cómo esta ha evolucionado. El estudio se ha realizado mediante la herramienta de análisis de mapas científicos SciMAT, basada en los mapas de co-palabras y en el índice-h. Un conjunto de 33.627 artículos científicos, publicados entre 1980 y 2013 en las 74 principales revistas del Journal Citation Reports de la Web of Science, han sido estudiados. Analizando los resultados, podemos destacar que la investigación llevada a cabo en el área de la comunicación se ha centrado en dieciséis áreas temáticas: «infancia», «aspectos psicológicos», «noticias», «audiencias», «sondeos», «publicidad», «salud», «relaciones», «género», «discurso», «comunicación telefónica», «relaciones públicas», «telecomunicaciones», «opinión pública», «activismo» e «Internet». Since manually labeling aerial images for pixel-level classification is expensive and time-consuming, developing strategies for land cover mapping without reference labels is essential and meaningful. As an efficient solution for this issue, domain adaptation has been widely utilized in numerous semantic labeling-based applications. However, current approaches generally pursue the marginal distribution alignment between the source and target features and ignore the category-level alignment. Therefore, directly applying them to land cover mapping leads to unsatisfactory performance in the target domain. In our research, to address this problem, we embed a geometry-consistent generative adversarial network (GcGAN) into a co-training adversarial learning network (CtALN), and then develop a category-sensitive domain adaptation (CsDA) method for land cover mapping using very-high-resolution (VHR) optical aerial images. The GcGAN aims to eliminate the domain discrepancies between labeled and unlabeled images while retaining their intrinsic land cover information by translating the features of the labeled images from the source domain to the target domain. Meanwhile, the CtALN aims to learn a semantic labeling model in the target domain with the translated features and corresponding reference labels. By training this hybrid framework, our method learns to distill knowledge from the source domain and transfers it to the target domain, while preserving not only global domain consistency, but also category-level consistency between labeled and unlabeled images in the feature space. The experimental results between two airborne benchmark datasets and the comparison with other state-of-the-art methods verify the robustness and superiority of our proposed CsDA.

How is working memory for different visual categories supported in the brain? Do the same principles of cortical specialization that govern the initial processing and encoding of visual stimuli also apply to their short-term maintenance? We investigated these questions with a delayed discrimination paradigm for faces, bodies, flowers, and scenes and applied both univariate and multivariate analyses to functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) data. Activity during encoding followed the well-known specialization in posterior areas. During the delay interval, activity shifted to frontal and parietal regions but was not specialized for category. Conversely, activity in visual areas returned to baseline during that interval but showed some evidence of category specialization on multivariate pattern analysis (MVPA). We conclude that principles of cortical activation differ between encoding and maintenance of visual material. Whereas perceptual processes rely on specialized regions in occipitotemporal cortex, maintenance involves the activation of a frontoparietal network that seems to require little specialization at the category level. We also confirm previous findings that MVPA can extract information from fMRI signals in the absence of suprathreshold activation and that such signals from visual areas can reflect the material stored in memory.

The purpose of this research was to know the species of rare plants existing in forest tourism Monkey Forest, Ubud, Gianyar, Bali and their mapping distributions in the original nature. This is an explorative research. The populations of this research were all species of plants in Monkey Forest. This research samples were the plant species covered by the squares. The sampling method used was quadratic method with systematic sampling technique. The mapping of rare plant species distribution used simple mapping method which was simple polygon compass and GPS. Identification of rare plant species was conducted through interviews, questionnaires, observations, and document studies. The results showed that the distribution of rare plant species in Monkey Forest, Ubud, Gianyar, Bali was in groups. The total number of rare plant species their nature were 33 species with the details that there were as many as six species of plants belonging to the National Rare category, 18 species of Bali Rare category, eight species of Regency Rare category, and one species of Rare Sub-District category.

The pocket book is small so it's practical. Students can use it to study anytime and anywhere. The concept of mind mapping presented with colour images can stimulate the brain's performance to make it easier to understand the material. This study aims to develop a mind mapping-based pocket book on accounting materials for service companies. The development model used is the 4D Thiagarajan model, which starts from the definition, design, development, and deployment stages. The validity test of six validators who are experts in their fields shows valid results. The material expert's assessment is in the very good category. The media expert's assessment got a fairly good category, and the linguist's assessment got a very good category. The practicality test involving 20 randomly selected respondents showed practical results. Based on the results of the assessment with predetermined criteria, it can be concluded that a pocket book based on mind mapping in service company accounting materials is said to be suitable for use as a learning medium. This study evaluated two explanations for how learning of novel adjectives is facilitated when all the objects are from the same category (e.g., exemplar and testing objects are all CUPS) and the object category is a known to the children. One explanation (the category knowledge account) focuses on early knowledge of syntax–meaning correspondence, and another (the attentional account) focuses on the role of repeated perceptual properties. The first account presumes implicit understanding that all the objects belong to the same category, and the second account presumes only that redundant perceptual experiences minimize distraction from irrelevant features and thus guide children’s attention directly to the correct item. The present study tests the two accounts by documenting moment-to-moment attention allocation (e.g., looking at experimenter’s face, exemplar object, target object) during a novel adjective learning task with 50 3-year-olds. The results suggest that children’s attention was guided directly to the correct item during the adjective mapping and that such direct attention allocation to the correct item predicted children’s adjective mapping performance. Results are discussed in relation to their implication for children’s active looking as the determinant of process for mapping new words to their meanings.

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of student worksheet oriented on the guided discovery learning using mind mapping to facilitate student’s science process skills. The data collection method was obtained from the test method with the type of one group pretest posttest design research. The study was conducted in class VIII-B MTsN Gresik with 30 students. The results showed as many as 27 students received n-gain scores in the high category and 3 students received n-gain scores in the medium category. In this study, it can be concluded that the student worksheet oriented guided discovery learning uses mind mapping to facilitate students' science process skills declared feasible in terms of effectiveness based on the science process skills test data, each student has a high category and the improvement science process skills indicator data that has a high category.Kata Kunci: worksheet, guided discovery, mind mapping, science process skills

Regional autonomy provides opportunities and challenges for Regional Governments to manage and explore sources of Regional Revenue. As the Capital of the Province, Pangkalpinang still relies on transfers, fund and yet their regional revenue is very low. This study tries to identify and map tax and levy revenues in Pangkalpinang and then formulate strategic recommendations that the Government may consider increasing regional revenue. This study analyzes the effectiveness, contribution, and growth of regional tax and retribution revenue in Pangkalpinang between 2016 and 2020. The contribution and growth analysis results are the basis for the Klassen analysis. This study's results indicate that tax revenue's effectiveness in the Pangkalpinang rate is 114.54%, while the effectiveness of retribution is 96.61%. The regional tax revenue with the largest contribution is street lighting tax, which contributes 36.49%. In contrast, the largest contribution of retribution is the revenue from the use of regional wealth, which is 25.05%. Based on Klassen's analysis, knowing that four sectors are in the developing category, four sectors are in the advanced but depressed category, five sectors are in the potential category, and the remaining nineteen sectors are in the lagging category. Therefore, the researcher suggests that the Government focus on developing and developing depressed sectors if they want to increase local tax and retribution revenues in the short term. However, they must focus on developing potential sectors if they're going to increase regional tax and levy revenues long-term.

Gabour, we introduced a metric space of generalized nonexpansive self-mappings of bounded and closed subsets of a Banach space and studied, using the Baire category approach, the asymptotic behavior of iterates of a generic operator belonging to this class. In the definition of a generalized nonexpansive mapping the norm is replaced by a general function which can be symmetric as a particular case. In this paper, we prove the convergence of infinite products of generalized nonexpansive self-mappings to a common fixed point in a generic setting.

Pitch space and Riemannian space offer divergent perspectives on tonal space in general. This article suggests that cognitive metaphor theory offers a means of understanding Riemannian space as a metaphorical mapping from pitch space; as an extension from a “deontic” to an “epistemic” musical category. My approach differs from other theorists of musical metaphor in considering mappings not between musical structure and extra-musical “real” space, but rather mappings between musical categories themselves. I illustrate this claim by reviewing recent writings both on pitch-space and Neo-Riemannian theory, and an analytical example by Chopin.

Monitoring and evaluation the quantity of the three sectors, agriculture, livestock and fisheries is conducted independently by each local government through the statistics and annual reports. But the development of information fishery and livestock sectors served from annual reports and statistical results have not been able to provide geographic information systems commodities in each district. The results of the development of the geographic information systems indicates that the category feature helps the user to view a visualization mapping fisheries sector and livestock commodities. Based on the visualization mapping analysis results, fisheries sector shows that six of the districts in Barito Utara that has not only a maximum production of fish from the river and three sub-categories of the category of the lake. For the results of visualization mapping livestock sector analysis in cattle category shows that six districts (Lahei, Teweh Tengah, Teweh Timur, Montalat, Gunung Timang and Gunung Purei) is able to fulfill the food needs of beef as a whole districts.

✓ Category-specific naming deficits and differential brain activation patterns have been reported in patients naming living as opposed to nonliving objects. The authors report on a case in which they used preoperative functional magnetic resonance (fMR) imaging, intraoperative electrocortical stimulation mapping (ESM), and postoperative neuropsychological testing to map language function. Using the latter two modalities, the authors identified a specific locus for category-specific naming in the posterior inferior temporal lobe, presumably a part of the basal temporal language area. Preoperative fMR imaging findings revealed the presence of a language area in the inferior temporal lobe; intraoperative ESM results indicated that this cortical area may be category specific for living objects; and after resection of the area, the results of postoperative neuropsychological testing confirmed that the patient made significantly more errors while naming living objects compared with nonliving ones (p < 0.001), independent of the effects of word frequency and with an intact system of object recognition and comprehension. These authors are the first to identify a specific and well-localized area of category-specific naming in the inferior temporal lobe and to demonstrate congruence of intraoperative and postoperative category-specific naming deficits. They also emphasize the roles of preoperative and intraoperative testing in predicting clinical outcomes.

Evaluation using computerized adaptive tests (CAT) is an alternative to paper-based tests (PBT). This study was aimed at mapping physics problem-solving skills using PhysProSS-CAT on the basis of the item response theory (IRT). The study was conducted inSleman Regency, Yogyakarta, involving 156 students of Grade XI of senior high school. Sampling was done using stratified random sampling technique. The results of the study show that the PhysProSS-CAT is able to accurately measure physics problem-solving skills. Students’ competences in physics problem solving can be mapped as 6% of the very high category, 4% of the high category, 36% of the medium category, 36% of the low category, and 18% of the very low category. This shows that the majority of the students’ competences in physics problem solving lies within the categories of medium and low.

Landslide occurrence can be influenced by physical factors and human activities. Thus, research related to the provision of information about landslide distribution in Alo watershed is needed as a basis in enhancing community preparedness in dealing with disasters. The method used in this study is the scoring method based on the Minister of Public Works Regulation No.22 / PRT / M / 2017 which is processed through a geographical information system through the overlay of all physical parameters. The result shows that the Alo watershed area is divided into three vulnerability categories. "Low" category covers 7171.8 ha, "medium" category covers 12008.7 ha, and "high" category covers 5039.5 ha out of 24.221 ha the total area of Alo watershed. Information provided in this research is expected to be able to help the local government in making policies in managing the Alo watershed area and enhancing the understanding of the local community in Alo watershed in dealing with disasters.
