Анотація:
The development of information technology in accounting has assisted on accountability and transparency of projects funds through the use of accounting information system for projects in producing quality reports. Top management support and individual factor are considered to have a high impact on accounting information system implementation. The study examined the effect of top management support and individual factors on the implementation of accounting information system and its impact on accounting information quality for projects in Tanzania. The study was carried out on nongovernmental organizations operated in Tanzania in different sectors. A questionnaire used to collect information from users of accounting information and accounting information system in different nongovernmental organizations projects in Tanzania. The results indicate that top management support and individual factors significantly influence accounting information system. Furthermore, it was found that the accounting information quality is influenced considerably by accounting information system.

Purpose The influencing factors of academic papers have always been the focus of attention in the field of Scientometrics. Exploring the influencing factors of altmetrics indicators and traditional literature indicators on academic papers is beneficial to better explore the potential significance and value of academic papers in the evaluation of scientific research. The paper aims to discuss these issues. Design/methodology/approach Based on the latest JCR citation report, this paper selects 22 academic journals in the JIF Quartile Q1 journal of Information Science and Library Science, and then obtains the evaluation data of these journal papers from WOS database and Altmetric.com. This paper uses literature measurement, correlation analysis and regression analysis to explore the influencing factors of the paper. Findings The results show that the original influencing factors of academic papers have a significant impact on secondary influencing factors. What is more obvious is that the number of references (nr) presents a significant positive correlation with the total number of times (Z9), the number of uses (U1) and (U2). Originality/value This paper combines traditional literature indicators with Altmetrics indicators to study the influencing factors through primary influencing factors and secondary influencing factors. Through research, it denies the phenomenon that academic circles have published academic papers in the world in recent years to overemphasize certain factors to improve the influence of the paper.

Анотація:
Gold presents as important role in an investor's portfolio because it provides stability of returns and favorable opportunity to improve investor wealth. Investment decision making depend on intrinsic factor investor behavior. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the impact of behavioral finance toward investment decision in gold instrument. Anchoring, availability bias, information asymmetry, representative bias, and risk aversion are chosen as behavioral finance factors. This study is conducted in Batam City Indonesia with 143 respondents and analysed using multiple linear regression analysis. Findings reveal behavioral factors such as information asymmetry and availability bias have significant impact on investment decision. However, the other independent variables do not have significant impact on investment decision.

An analysis of the results of modern studies on the importance of clinical and pathomorphological factors as predictors of feline mammary tumours is presented. The urgency of the problem of predicting the development of cancer in this species is conditioned by the possibility of their use as biological models in human medicine, high level of incidence, significant share in the distribution of malignant types of tumours, and controversial issues of etiology and pathogenesis. Despite significant developments in the study of causal relationships with regard to mammary neoplasms, the use of different methodological approaches to assess the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of tumours, often in combination with insufficient sampling in groups does not allow to objectively assess the degree of malignancy and invasive potential both in a particular animal and in a group of patients, and therefore – to predict their behaviour. Generalization of available information on the peculiarities of the clinical course and pathomorphological changes in mammary tumours is necessary for further formation of a unified register of neoplasms in cats, which will be the basis for better understanding of the mechanisms of carcinogenesis, identification of promising biological targets, development and clinical implementation of pathogenetically based effective protocols for the treatment and prevention of cancer in cats. The lack of a unified approach to the verification of neoplasions makes it difficult, and in some cases impossible, to use cancer such predictors as histologic type, tumour size, clinical stage, angio- and lymphoinvasion, patient life expectancy and recurrence-free period as independent predictive factors. A large amount of clinical material has been accumulated, mainly presented in a descriptive form, without correlation with other causative factors. Along with the indicated predictors of carcinogenesis, in recent years, the role of cyclooxygenase-2 expression in the mechanisms of development and progression of feline mammary tumors has been actively studied, the influence on which allows obtaining a complex (multidirectional) therapeutic effect. Prospects for further research are the unification of clinical and pathomorphological diagnostic criteria and the establishment of a database of cats with cancer

Purpose/Thesis: The article contains theoretical and conceptual reflection and analysis of how emotions and other affective phenomena are defined and understood in contemporary research on human information behavior. The article draws attention to the interdisciplinary nature of research into affective information activities. Approach/Methods: The reported research employs a qualitative approach, relying on critical literature review, and conceptual and thematic analysis. The analyzed material came from select publications from 2014–2020. Results and Conclusions: Information science studies the role of emotions in information behavior. However, the application of the affective paradigm remains very limited. The affective understanding of information activities should be constantly expanded on an interdisciplinary basis with reference to theories and methods of other disciplines, such as psychology. Originality/Value: The article studies the development of the theoretical affective phenomenon pa­radigm and presents the most important approaches psychology takes to emotions. By analyzing the latest trends in the study of affective information behaviors, the study joins the collaborative effort to develop an agenda providing a theoretical and practical basis for the development of interdisciplinary research within the affective paradigm.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to examine how user-perceived video quality, measured by computer assisted web survey, interacts with content richness (CR) and interactivity (IA). It also analyzes how those internet protocol television (IPTV) idiosyncrasies impacts audience perceptions (perceived usefulness (PU) and perceived resistance (PR)) and actual subscriptions. Design/methodology/approach – A computer assisted web survey was administered in Korea to collect data. A structural equation model and Z-test analyses were conducted to address the research hypotheses. Findings – User-perceived video quality influences audience perceptions (PU and PR) through interaction with CR and IA. Subscriber perceptions have a causal relationship with IPTV subscriptions. Practical implications – Balanced improvement of the IPTV value chain, from content to technical (platform, network, and terminal) perspectives, are necessary for IPTV diffusion. Also, IPTV providers should establish the diffusion strategies, minimizing the user-perceived restrictiveness as well as maximizing the PU. Originality/value – This study shows computer assisted assessment of video quality can be applied to behavior science. The research model suggests PR, which has been relatively unnoticed is included in existing technology acceptance theories. The introduced antecedents of IPTV subscriptions can be referred to as key performance indicators regarding new media adoption studies.

ISMS is a set of policies, activities, and procedures implemented by the Information Security Department to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information from threats and risks. Activities and procedures include identifying security needs, strategies required for implementation, and measuring results for security improvement. This paper aims to review the previous literature to verify the factors that affect information security management. Examination of current information security frameworks and standards, and this paper concluded that, for an organization to adopt a specific framework, this framework must be evaluated based on the security needs of the organization. The framework must include all factors that affect information security from all organizational aspects, people, and technology. Otherwise, the organization will face difficulties and obstacles in implementing the framework and improving security.

Purpose – Despite many technically sophisticated solutions, managing information security has remained a persistent challenge for organizations. Emerging IT/ICT media have posed new security challenges to business information and information assets. It is felt that technical solutions alone are not sufficient to address the information security challenge. It has been argued that organizations also need to consider the management aspects of information security. Consequently, literature, especially in the last decade, has witnessed various scholarly works in this direction. Therefore, a synthesis exercise is required to bring clarity on categorizing the issues of organizational information security management (ISM) to take the research forward. The purpose of this paper is to identify management factors that address organizational information security challenges. Design/methodology/approach – Using a mix method approach, the paper adopts the qualitative (keyword analysis and experts’ opinion) and quantitative (questionnaire survey) research routes. Exploratory factor analysis is conducted to find out the key factors of organizational ISM. Findings – The paper categorizes various organizational ISM functions into ten factors. Spanning across three levels (strategic, tactical and operational), these factors cover various management issues of organizational ISM. Originality/value – The paper takes the ISM literature forward by statistically validating the key management factors of organizational ISM. The study outcome should help to draw the attention of organizations toward the managerial challenges of organizational ISM.

We created a sub-t environment using the Unity game engine and utilized students as subjects to facilitate experiment setup and validation. Little research is being done on what information soldiers need in a subterranean environment. Here we begin to investigate these information needs.

Abstract The primary purpose of this work is to provide an overview and comparative analysis of various Information System Audit Quality measures, as well as to test the validity of the chosen measurement scale empirically. In this regard, a thorough literature study was undertaken, followed by primary empirical research, and the reliability and validity of the measurement scale were tested. Based on the identified papers, a questionnaire was created and evaluated by a panel of experts. Following that, data was collected from respondents who were either managers inside the organizational unit responsible for information technology or those designated as adequate by the heads of IT departments.

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the effectiveness of management information system in the financial institution. Data were distributed to the managers in financial areas ranging from middle to top management level in Cimahi. The respondents in this study are 49 people. This study uses a quantitative and descriptive approach. The method used is an associative method. Data analysis uses regression analysis model. The unit of analysis in this study is the financial manager in the village and sub-district of Cimahi. Financial managers at the top level and middle level interact directly in the utilization of information technology. The data testing is done through validity test with Spearman Rank correlation coefficient and reliability tests with Cronbach Alpha coefficient. As for descriptive data analysis, multiple regression analysis was used. The results showed that the sophistication of the technology, manager’s knowledge, and participation affect the effectiveness of implementation of financial management information system. The problem that needs to be corrected is the technology that is still inadequate to produce accurate and relevant information.

In a pandemic situation the audit sector, either government or public, is affected in terms of audit implementation, especially in carrying out field audits. However, auditors can tackle this issue by applying new methods. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to examine the effect of auditor skepticism, auditor competence, understanding of information systems, and auditor motivation on audit quality. It also assesses whether time budget pressure has a moderating effect on the relationship between auditor competence, auditor motivation, and audit quality. 58 questionnaires were issued to government internal auditors in the Principal Inspectorate of Indonesia’s Supreme Audit Institution in the AKN V and VI units, and the data were acquired using a Google Form. SmartPLS software version 3.0 was used to analyze data applying Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Purposive sampling was used in this investigation, which took a quantitative approach. The paper uses the theory of planned behavior and the inverted U theory. The results conclude that auditor skepticism, auditor competence, and understanding of information systems have a significant positive effect on audit quality. Auditor motivation has no significant positive effect on audit quality. Furthermore, time budget pressure does not moderate the effect of auditor competence and auditor motivation on audit quality. This study is expected to provide valuable input to improve the audit quality and assist auditors in the AKN V and VI units uphold professionalism and integrity in carrying out audit examinations even under the condition of a pandemic.

PurposeBlockchain technology (BT) is setting world-shattering standard in all type of transactions in business. BT has the prospective to drastically transform supply chain (SC). The main challenge is to enhance trust among the SC stakeholders. This paper aims to identify and prioritize the factors and its challenges that influence the adoptability of BT in SC. The prioritization of these factors will be helpful to the practitioners to decide the strategy of implementing the BT in SC.Design/methodology/approachThe factors influencing adoption of BT are identified from the review of literature and expert opinion is used to rank the factors influencing the adoptability of BT in SC using grey relational analysis (GRA).FindingsWe identified and prioritized key factors: inter-organizational trust and relational governance as organizational challenge, data transparency and data immutability as technological challenge, interoperability and product type as operational challenge and social influence and behavioral intention as social challenge that influences adoptability of BT in SC.Originality/valueThe priority of these factors will guide future researchers and industry practitioners to plan rational and financial strategy for implementing BT in SC.

Objective: Incident correlation is a vital step in the cybersecurity threat detection process. This article presents research on the effect of group-level information-pooling bias on collaborative incident correlation analysis in a synthetic task environment. Background: Past research has shown that uneven information distribution biases people to share information that is known to most team members and prevents them from sharing any unique information available with them. The effect of such biases on security team collaborations are largely unknown. Method: Thirty 3-person teams performed two threat detection missions involving information sharing and correlating security incidents. Incidents were predistributed to each person in the team based on the hidden profile paradigm. Participant teams, randomly assigned to three experimental groups, used different collaboration aids during Mission 2. Results: Communication analysis revealed that participant teams were 3 times more likely to discuss security incidents commonly known to the majority. Unaided team collaboration was inefficient in finding associations between security incidents uniquely available to each member of the team. Visualizations that augment perceptual processing and recognition memory were found to mitigate the bias. Conclusion: The data suggest that (a) security analyst teams, when conducting collaborative correlation analysis, could be inefficient in pooling unique information from their peers; (b) employing off-the-shelf collaboration tools in cybersecurity defense environments is inadequate; and (c) collaborative security visualization tools developed considering the human cognitive limitations of security analysts is necessary. Application: Potential applications of this research include development of team training procedures and collaboration tool development for security analysts.

Background Information sharing plays a key role in supply chain performance. According to previous individual studies, technology, trust, commitment, and uncertainty are four potential factors affecting information sharing. However, most studies focus on testing a positive relationship between each factor and information sharing. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the effect of each factor on information sharing. Objective To determine the accurate effect of factors on sharing information and propose key factors to support decision-makers in improving their information sharing. Data Correlation coefficients between factors are collected from 41 individual studies with a total of 8,983 samples on Google Scholar Methods Using the rank correlation test and Egger’s regression test to test publication bias. The meta-analysis method is used to perform analysis models, including fixed-effect, random-effect, and Hunter and Schmidt methods Results Commitment plays the most important role in information sharing when compared to technology, trust, and uncertainty. Commitment accounts for 19% in the Hunter and Schmidt method and 22% in both fixed-effect and random-effect models. In addition, the result indicates that there are around 50% of other factors that affect the efficiency of sharing information besides four factors in our studies. Conclusion Technology, trust, and commitment significantly affect information sharing, of which the impact of commitment on information sharing is strongest and should be a priority in improving the effectiveness of information sharing. Our study contributes two findings to literature in the field of supply chain information sharing: 1) certain confirming the important role of commitment on sharing information, and 2) the necessity of considering other factors besides these four elements.
