Повний текст джерелаO objetivo principal da presente dissertação é evidenciar a capacidade do cinema brasilero de Ficção Científica de perspetivar de forma original e peculiar a utopia ecológica (ou ecotopia), através da representação do seu oposto, isto é, a distopia ecológica (ou ecodistopia). O objetivo secundário é avaliar os efeitos performativos deste tipo de representação cinematográfica de género, no que diz respeito à evolução duma nova consciência ecológica por parte do espectador. Para concretizar os objetivos propostos, escolheram-se como estudo de caso dois filmes: Parada 88: O Limite de Alerta (1978) de José de Anchieta, e Acquaria (2004) de Flávia Moraes.

Resumo: ¿A Ficção Científica no Brasil: Um planeta quase desabitado.¿ Esse é o título de um artigo do crítico e escritor Fausto Cunha1, referente à literatura de ficção científica, mas que poderia ser aplicado também à análise do gênero no cinema brasileiro. Na Europa, nos EUA e no Japão, o cinema de ficção científica encontra terreno fértil. Sua relevância estética e econômica é evidente, desde o período mudo, sendo até hoje freqüente objeto de estudo. No Brasil, entretanto, a situação é um pouco diferente, uma vez que a ficção científica cinematográfica tem sido frequentemente encarada como algo ¿fora de lugar¿. Afinal, podemos falar de ficção científica no cinema brasileiro? Esta tese traz uma resposta afirmativa a essa pergunta, muito embora tenhamos de levar em consideração algumas peculiaridades. Ao contrário dos EUA e Europa, o Brasil não tem grande tradição no estudo da ficção científica. Apesar disso, escritores brasileiros de ficção científica têm obtido reconhecimento internacional, e o cinema brasileiro tem tido experiências na produção de filmes do gênero. Por exemplo, manifestações da ficção científica no cinema brasileiro podem ser detectadas em comédias ou chanchadas dos anos 1940/50, distopias ecológicas dos anos 1970/80 e na produção mais recente, da retomada aos dias atuais. Mas por que o cinema brasileiro de ficção científica não tem tido maior desenvolvimento e visibilidade? Esta e outras perguntas serão discutidas neste trabalho, com base em bibliografia geral e especializada, análise fílmica e entrevistas com autores, cineastas e pesquisadores. Em suma, o objetivo desta tese é levantar um novo debate mais detido acerca da ficção científica no cinema brasileiro e demais cinematografias que não a hollywoodiana, apresentando um panorama que busca melhor compreender o passado, presente e futuro de um gênero que insiste em sobreviver numa atmosfera muitas vezes hostil e rarefeita
Abstract: ¿SF in Brazil: A barely inhabited planet¿ is the title of Fausto Cunha¿s essay on Brazilian science fiction literature, and the starting point for this paper, as this approach could be also applied to the study of Brazilian science fiction cinema. In Europe, the United States and Japan, science fiction film has a long history since the early days of cinema, and continues to find fertile ground still today. Its economical and aesthetical relevance is outstanding and widely recognized. However, in Brazil the situation is rather different, and a national science fiction cinema is usually overlooked by film critics and scholars. Then again, can one talk about science fiction in Brazilian cinema? This dissertation brings an affirmative answer to this question, even though considering some particular features. Contrary to the United States and Europe, Brazil does not have a tradition in science fiction studies. Despite this fact, Brazilian science fiction writers have been awarded around the world and Brazilian cinema does have experiences in science fiction film production ¿ for example, from the 1940/50¿s comedies and chanchadas to 1970/80¿s ecological distopias and fin-de-siècle dark comedies. But why has Brazilian science fiction cinema been prevented from further development? This question, among others, will be herein discussed, based on general and specific bibliography, film analysis and interviews with writers, scholars and filmmakers. In sum, the aim of this paper is to raise a new and careful discussion on science fiction in the Brazilian cinema and other off-Hollywood filmographies, outlining a panorama that attempts to better understand the past, present and future of a genre that insists on surviving in a rather hostile and rarefied atmosphere

Objetivou-se com este estudo estimar par?metros gen?ticos e fenot?picos para probabilidade de prenhez nas idades 15, 19, 23, 27, 31, 35, 39 e 43 meses (PP_15, PP_19, PP_23, PP_27, PP_31, PP_35, PP_39 e PP_43), em novilhas da ra?a Sindi, via modelo de limiar em regress?o aleat?ria utilizando os polin?mios ortogonais de Legendre de segunda, terceira e quarta ordem, considerando a homogeneidade e heterogeneidade de vari?ncia residual. Os componentes de covari?ncia foram estimados por abordagem Bayesiana, utilizando o programa THRGIBBS3F90. Foram inclu?dos os efeitos fixos de criador, fazenda do criador, ano de nascimento, esta??o de nascimento e como covari?vel (de efeito linear) foi considerado o peso da vaca na idade em que ela concebeu. Al?m desses efeitos para todas as idades estudadas, foram considerados os efeitos aleat?rios gen?ticos aditivos, de ambiente permanente e residual. O melhor modelo para a an?lise RRTM foi o LEG_4441 que obteve as seguintes estimativas de herdabilidade 0,34; 0,41; 0,45; 0,41; 0,37; 0,32; 0,32; 0,33 para PP_15, PP_19, PP_23, PP_27, PP_31, PP_35, PP_39, PP_43, respectivamente. As estimativas das correla??es gen?ticas obtidas entre PP_15 com PP_19, PP_23, PP_27, PP_31, PP_35, PP_39 e PP_43 foram 0,1; -0,39; -0,65; -0,83; -0,93; -0,81; -0,71, respectivamente. As estimativas das correla??es fenot?picas para PP_15 com PP_19, PP_23, PP_27, PP_31, PP_35, PP_39 e PP_43 foram respectivamente 0,12; -0,09; -0,17; -0,22; -0,26; -0,25; 0,40. A an?lise que utilizou modelo LEG_4441 foi a mais indicada para estimar os par?metros gen?ticos para a probabilidade de prenhez em diferentes idades em novilhas da ra?a Sindi, indicando que a prenhez precoce possui variabilidade gen?tica para ser inclu?da como caracter?stica alvo de sele??o em programas de melhoramento, com potencial para se obter ganhos gen?ticos satisfat?rios.

Our aim with this study was estimating genetic and phenotypic parameters for pregnancy probability at 15, 19, 23, 27, 31, 35, 39 and 43 month old (PP_15, PP_19, PP_23, PP_27, PP_31, PP_35, PP_39 and PP_43) in Sindhi heifers, by using threshold model in a random regression framework, adopting Legendre orthogonal polynomials of second, third and fourth order, considering homogeneity and heterogeneity of residual variance. Covariance components were estimated by Bayesian approach using THRGIBBS3F90 program. The model included the fixed effects of herd, herd of the farm, year of birth, birth season and as a covariate (with linear effect) was considered the weight of the cow at the age when she calved. In addition to these effects for all ages studied, additive genetic, permanent environmental and residual random effects were considered. The best model for the analysis was the RRTM LEG_4441 which obtained the following heritability estimates: 0.34; 0.41; 0.45; 0.41; 0.37; 0.32; 0.32; 0.33 to PP_15, PP_19, PP_23, PP_27, PP_31, PP_35, PP_39 and PP_43, respectively. Genetic correlation estimates between PP_15 with PP_19, PP_23, PP_27, PP_31, PP_35, PP_39 and PP_43 were 0.1; -0.39; -0.65; -0.83; -0.93; -0.81; -0.71, respectively. Phenotypic correlation estimates for PP_15 with PP_19, PP_23, PP_27, PP_31, PP_35, PP_39 and PP_43 were respectively 0.12; -0.09; -0.17; -0.22; -0.26; -0.25; 0.40. The analysis by using LEG_4441 model was the most appropriate to estimate genetic parameters for pregnancy probability at different ages in Sindhi heifers, indicating that early pregnancy has genetic variability to be included as a goal trait selection in breeding programs, with the potential to achieve satisfactory genetic gains.

Повний текст джерелаBrazilian citrus industry represents a significant share in the global citrus market. Amongst several diseases that affect the crop, postbloom fruit drop (PFD) has been gaining prominence in Sao Paulo with the displacement of citrus areas to regions in which weather conditions are more favorable to the occurrence of this disease. PFD, caused by species of the complexes Colletotrichum acutatum and C. gloeosporioides, is especially problematic in years of mild temperatures and high humidity. Citrus growers spray the orchards preventively for PFD control every year, although favorable climatic conditions do not occur regularly. In addition to the economic impact, this practice increases the selection pressure of fungicide resistant isolates, and may decrease the efficiency of chemical control in a long term. The use of disease forecasting systems is able to prevent unnecessary fungicide sprays. For the development of such systems, it is essential to determine an action threshold for the application of fungicides in the orchards. The objectives of this work were: (i) to establish an action threshold for fungicide sprays based on the germination of C. acutatum conidia; (ii) to characterize the sensitivity of C. gloeosporioides and C. acutatum isolates to trifloxystrobin and tebuconazole in vitro and molecularly. Regarding the definition of the action threshold, treatments based on risk indices were compared to the control treatments and calendar based sprays, usually adopted by growers. The 15% conidia germination threshold was efficient in controlling the disease and reducing the number of fungicide applications. In the fungicide sensitivity tests, two methods were used to determine the EC50, the spiral gradient dilution for trifloxystrobin and tebuconazole, and the method of conidial germination inhibition for trifloxystrobin. Isolates collected between 1999 and 2016 were used. The mean EC50 of the isolate collection determined by the spiral gradient dilution method ranged from 0.158 to 0.297 μg/ml and from 0.1 to 0.182 μg/ml for trifloxystrobin and tebuconazole, respectively. Mean EC50 of trifloxystrobin estimated by the conidial germination inhibition method was 0.002 μg/ml. No mutations or EC50 values indicated shifts of fungicide sensitivity on the isolates.
