UDC 519.6 The paper deals with a boundary-value problem for the nonlinear integro-differential equation modeling the static state of the Kirchhoff beam. The problem is reduced to a nonlinear integral equation, which is solved using the Picard iteration method. The convergence of the iteration process is established and the error estimate is obtained.

A cobalt-free perovskite oxide Ba0.5Sr0.5Fe0.8Cu0.2O3−δ (BSFCu) is applied as the cathode material for intermediate temperature micro-tubular solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) with asymmetric structure anode. The NiO-YSZ hollow fiber anode as support was prepared by the phase inversion technique. The as-prepared fiber anode shows a special asymmetric structure consisting of porous sponge-like structure in the middle and finger-like porous structure on the inner and outer side. Dense thin YSZ electrolyte membrane and SDC transition layer were deposited on the NiO-YSZ hollow fiber anode by a vacuum-assisted dip-coating and co-sintering technique. Laboratory-sized micro-tubular single cells of NiO-YSZ/YSZ+SDC/BSFCu-SDC were tested at 650-750°C with humidified H2 as the fuel and static ambient air as the oxidant. The peak power densities of 437.2, 326.5 and 214.4 mWcm-2 can be obtained at 750, 700 and 650°C, respectively. The experimental results indicate that the cobalt-free perovskite oxide BSFCu is a promising cathode material candidate for the developed intermediate temperature micro-tubular SOFC with asymmetric hollow fiber anode.

This paper deals with the synthesis of ultralow density silica aerogels using tetramethyl orthosilicate (TMOS) as the precursor via sol-gel process followed by supercritical drying using acetonitrile solvent extraction. Ultralow density silica aerogels with 6 mg/cc of density was made for the molar ratio by this method. The microstructure and morphology of the ultralow density silica aerogels was characterized by the specific surface area, SBET, SEM, and the pore size distribution techniques. The results show that the ultralow density silica aerogel has the high specific surface area of 812m2/g. Thermal conductivities at desired temperatures were analyzed by the transient plane heat source method. Thermal conductivity coefficients of silica aerogel monoliths changed from 0.024 to 0.043W/ (m K) as temperature increased to 400°C, revealed an excellent heat insulation effect during thermal process.

In the present investigation, the Al-C-KCl composite powders were prepared by a ball milling processing in an attempt to improve the hydrogen evolution capacity of aluminum in water. The results showed that the hydrogen generation reaction is affected by KCl amount, preparation processing, initial aluminum particle size and reaction temperature. Increasing KCl amount led to an increased hydrogen generation volume. The use of aluminum powder with a fine particle size could promote the aluminum hydrolysis reaction and get an increased hydrogen generation rate. The reaction temperature played an important role in hydrogen generation rate and the maximum hydrogen generation rate of 44.8 cm3 min-1g-1of Al was obtained at 75oC. The XRD results identified that the hydrolysis byproducts are bayerite (Al(OH)3) and boehmite (AlOOH).

The phase change materials (PCMs) can absorb, store or release large latent heat over a defined temperature range while the materials change phase or state, so they can be potentially used in thermal energy storage. In this paper, a series of microencapsulated phase change materials (MicroPCMs) with n-octadecane and n-dodecanol as core were successfully fabricated respectively, where the styrene-based copolymer, acrylic based copolymer, melamine-formaldehyde resin and polyurea were selected as shell materials. The morphology of these MicroPCMs was observed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and the core-shell structure and the shell thickness of microcapsules were also characterized by SEM. In addition, the phase change properties of MicroPCMs were investigated using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) analysis. Furthermore, thermal-regulated calcium alginate fiber was produced by adding MicroPCMs in wet-spinning process; and the effects of various types of MicroPCMs on fiber was discussed.

UDC 519.6 The main objective of this work is investigation of positives and negatives of the three steps iterative frozen-type Newtonlike method for solving nonlinear equations in a Banach space. We perform a local convergence analysis by Taylor’s expansion and semilocal convergence by recurrence relations technique under the conditions of Kantorovich theorem for the Newton’s method. The convergence results are examined by comparing the proposed method with the Newton’s method and the fourth order Jarratt’s method using some test functions. We discuss the corresponding conjugacy maps for quadratic polynomials along with the extraneous fixed points. Additionally, the theoretical and numerical results are examined byusing the dynamical analysis of a selected test function. It not only confirms the theoretical and numerical results, but also reveals some drawbacks of the frozen Newton-like method.

The differential relay on the power transformer II in the Kapal Substation has a sensitivity setting of 30% to the nominal current of winding. Fault current that occurs below setting is not detected because the fault current has not reached the set limit. To overcome the fault current it is equipped with REF relay that has sensitivity below 30%. The analysis was performed by calculation method according to the relay setting manual. The results of sensitivity setting of REF relay is 382.75 A or fault point at 22.09% of the transformer winding, while the differential relay is 519.6 A or fault point at 30% of the transformer winding. The calculation result shows that the first to work is the REF relay than the differential relay. So the fault on the transformer winding is overcome by the REF relay.

Occurrence of gerniol and geranyl acetate as major chemical constituents were reported in the essential oil of Cymbopogon commutauts (Steud.) Stapf. A selectant having H”80% total geraniol and coded as RRL (J) CC1 has been studied by way of quantifying growth response coefficient values of morpho-economic character, which was 1.0 signifying its good adaptability under subtropical environment. Leaf adaptation has been quantified as phyllochron which exhibited 519.6 and 775.6 degree-days for production of single mature leaf during first and second harvests, respectively. Floral adaptation was quantified as photoperiod response coefficient b=412 (degreedays/ day-length). Based on two years pooled observation (2001-2002), regional crop models have been developed for prediction of essential oil production and its quality as total geraniol content (%) by using most-efficient energy indices viz., phenothermal index and thermo/photo ratio.

Aim. To study the effect of blood thiazoline ammonium 4-chlorophenyl-2-hydroxy-4-oxo-2-butenoate content on the manifestation of anticoagulant effect upon subcutaneous administration to rabbits. Materials and methods. The studies were fulfilled on outbred rabbits. The substance was administered subcutaneously in the dose of 35 mg/kg. The time of blood coagulation was determined using coagulometer “Minilab 701”, and blood concentration - by means of liquid micro-column chromatograph “Milichrom A-02”. Results. The obtained results prove that maximum concentration of the compound in blood and maximum anticoagulant effect is reached in 30 minutes after subcutaneous administration. The substance anticoagulant effect lasted for 120 minutes after its administration. At present, the compound concentration in blood is equal to 519.8 ± 145.41 ng/ml. Conclusions. The studied compound, when administered subcutaneously, is quickly absorbed and begins to render an anticoagulant effect. Efficacy of action of this compound depends on its blood concentration.

The increment amount of the CO2 emission by years has become a major concern worldwide due to the global warming issue. However, the influence modification of activated carbon (AC) has given a huge revolution in CO2 adsorption capture compare to the unmodified AC. In the present study, the Deep Eutectic Solvent (DES) modified surface AC was used for Carbon Dioxide (CO2) capture in the fixed-bed column. The AC underwent pre-carbonization and carbonization processes at 519.8 °C, respectively, with flowing of CO2 gas and then followed by impregnation with 53.75% phosphoric acid (H3PO4) at 1:2 precursor-to-activant ratios. The prepared AC known as sea mango activated carbon (SMAC) was impregnated with DES at 1:2 solid-to-liquid ratio. The DES is composing of choline chloride and urea with ratio 1:2 choline chloride to urea. The optimum adsorption capacity of SMAC was 33.46 mgco2/gsol and 39.40 mgco2/gsol for DES modified AC (DESAC).

UDC 519.21 We establish the rate of weak convergence in the fractional step method for the Arratia flow in terms of the Wasserstein distance between the images of the Lebesque measure under the action of the flow. We introduce finite-dimensional densities that describe sequences of collisions in the Arratia flow and derive an explicit expression for them. With the initial interval discretized, we also discuss the convergence of the corresponding approximations of the point measure associated with the Arratia flow in terms of such densities.

Застосовано зображення розв’язку за допомогою iнтеграла Данфорда – Кошi по гiперболi, що охоплює спектр операторного коефiцiєнта, з подальшим застосуванням експоненцiально збiжної квадратурної формули. Для цього вибрано параметри гiперболи таким чином, щоб пiдiнтегральна функцiя мала аналiтичне продовження в смугу навколо дiйсної осi, а потiм застосовано Sinc-квадратуру. Показано експоненцiальну точнiсть методу i наведено числовi розрахунки тестового прикладу, що пiдтверджують апрiорну оцiнку.

ABSTRACT Objective: To evaluate short- and long-term mandibular dental arch changes in patients treated with a lip bumper during the mixed dentition followed by fixed appliances, compared with a matched control sample. Materials and Methods: Dental casts and lateral cephalograms obtained from 31 consecutively treated patients before (T0) and after (T1) lip bumper, after fixed appliances (T2), and a minimum of 3 years after fixed appliances (T3) were analyzed. The control group was matched as closely as possible. Arch width, arch perimeter, arch length, and incisor proclination were evaluated. Repeated measures ANOVA was used to analyze changes in measurements over all four time points between treatment and control groups. Results: Arch widths and crowding were always significantly different except at T2−T1. At T1−T0, only crowding decreased 3.2 mm while intercanine, interpremolar, and intermolar widths increased by 3.8, 3.3, and 3.9 mm, respectively. Changes at T3−T2 showed a significant decrease of 2.1 mm for crowding and an increase of 3.5, 2.9, 2.7, and 0.8 mm for intercanine, interpremolar, and intermolar widths and arch perimeter, respectively. Finally, at T3−T0, the reduction in crowding of 5.03 mm was significant and clinically important in the treated group. The differences between intercanine, interpremolar, and intermolar widths were also significant (2.1, 3.8, and 3.6 mm, respectively). All those differences favored the treated group. Conclusions: Mandibular dental arch dimensions were significantly changed after lip bumper treatment. At follow-up, all arch widths were slightly decreased, generating an increase of 0.4 mm in crowding, considered clinically irrelevant. Overall changes remained stable after an average 6.3-year follow-up.

This paper is reviewing the amplification of XUV radiation at 519.7 and 498.5 Å with a gain-length product of 2.5 and 2.2 for the 4f-3d and 4d-3p transition in an oxygen Z-pinch plasma. Time resolved measurements of the O VI (519.7 Å) transition were performed and the dependence of the line intensity on the discharge current and initial gas pressure is reported.

Наведено кілька прикладів конкретних лічильних процесів, що задовольняють ці достатні умови, разом із відповідними граничними теоремами. Продовжено дослідження, розпочаті в статті О. Іксанова та Б. Рашитова (2020 р.), де було доведено функціональну граничну теорему з центруванням із (гауссівськими) процесами типу Рімана–Ліувілля в якості граничних процесів.

The electro-caloric energy conversions in single-crystal and polycrystalline barium titanate samples are investigated using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The DSC measurement reveals a refrigeration effect of 0.1 J/g under an electric field of 15 kV/cm at T=17.5 °C, which is related with the ferroelectric-to-ferroelectric transition in barium titanate. The thermodynamics calculation based on Maxwell’s relations leads to similar conclusion. Such EC effect shows relaxation with the heat release process more significant than the heat adsorption process when the applied field is changed, which is different with those occur near the ferroelectric-to-paraelectric transition temperatures. Furthermore, the electro-caloric energy conversion relation or the scaling relation between the maximum refrigeration effect ΔH and the applied field E, is found to follow a power law ΔHmax~Eb with b=1.72, which is significantly larger than those for EC effects related with the ferroelectric-to-paraelectric transitions.

A kind of comb-shaped poly(oxyethylene) with nine oxyethylene units in ether side chains has been synthesized via chemical modification on ethylene oxide-epichlorohydrin copolymer [P(EO/EH)s] with a kind of alcohol ether carboxylate. The prepared polyether was characterized by FTIR spectroscopy. A series of polymer electrolytes were prepared by dissolving LiN(SO2CF3)2 at different ratios in the polymer matrix. It is found that the ionic conductivity of the comb-shaped poly(oxyethylene) based polymer electrolytes could reach 4.3×10-5 S/cm at 30°C and 6.2×10-4 S/cm at 80°C, which increase by an order of magnitude compared with that of poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) based ones at corresponding temperatures. Both the amorphous feature of the polymer electrolytes above the ambient temperature and the highly mobile ether side chains of the comb-shaped polyether contribute to the increase of ionic conductivity.

LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 is a promising 5 V class anode material for high power applications, however, before applying in lithium-ion batteries, it is necessary to find more appropriate electrolyte systems to exert the perfect electrochemical performance of LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4. In this paper, the electrochemical performances of LiBOB-propylene carbonate (PC)/dimethyl carbonate (DMC) electrolyte are investigated. It shows high oxidation potentials (>5.5 V) and satisfactory conductivities, When used in LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4/Li cells, compared to the cell with the electrolyte system of LiPF6-ethylene carbonate (EC)/dimethyl carbonate (DMC) electrolyte, LiBOB-PC/DMC electrolyte exhibit several advantages, such as more stable cycle performance, higher discharge voltage plateau (>4.64 V), higher coulomb efficiency, and higher mean voltage (4.55 V).

Lithium–oxygen coin cells without catalyst were assembled in argon atmosphere and tested in pure oxygen. Results showed that the first discharge performance of the batteries was strongly affected by the carbon loading, electrolyte amount and current density. At the carbon loading (0.4 mg/cm2), the electrolyte amount (160 μL/cell) and the current density (0.05 mA/cm2), a high capacity of 4586.5 mAh/g was obtained. The capacity decreased when the carbon loading or current density was increased. And the capacity would have a decrease when the amount of electrolyte was decreased. The highest capacity of 6010.2 mAh/g was obtained by optimizing the combination of carbon loading and electrolyte amount at current density of 0.01mA/cm2. However, the discharge capacity sharply decreased from the second cycle. It may be partly due to the fact that the pores of cathode surface were blocked by discharge products at the end of discharge.

Theoretical study of the filling fraction limit (FFL) of the Fe-substituted Ba-filled skutterudite was carried out via first principle method calculations. The lattice constant of BayFe4xCo4-4xSb12 increases with the Ba filling fraction under fixed Fe content while it does not simply increases with Fe content under fixed Ba filling fraction. The FFL is determined by the competition between the formation of filled skutterudite phases and the corresponding secondary phases. The FFL of Ba in the Fe-substituted CoSb3 skutterudites increases monotonically from 37.5% with Fe content of 0 to 100% with Fe content of ~50%. The most stable composition of the BayFe4xCo4-4xSb12is expected to be BayFe2.8Co1.2Sb12.

LaNiO3 single layer, LaNiO3/LaAlO3 superlattice on vicinal-cut single crystalline LaAlO3 (100) and LSAT (100) substrates were prepared by pulsed laser deposition technique. Single-phased LaNiO3 polycrystal target, which is synthesized by sol-gel method, is employed in the thin film deposition process. The structure and physical properties of both the targets and thin films are analyzed. X-ray diffraction results show LaNiO3 single layer is of c-orientation and textural growth, therefore LaNiO3/LaAlO3 forms not superlattice but multilayer. The ultra-violet LITV (laser induced thermoelectric voltage) effects of the LaNiO3/LaAlO3 mutilayer and LaNiO3 single layer were investigated. A comparison study of the influence of LaNiO3 targets prepared by different sol-gel method on the physical property, and LITV effect of thin films was performed as well.

Here we report the thermoelectric properties of a wide–gap chalcopyrite compound AgInSe2, and observed the remarkable improvement in electrical conductivity σ, due to the bandgap (Eg = 1.12 eV) reduction compared to In2Se3. The improvement in σ is directly responsible for the enhancement of thermoelectric figure of merit ZT, though the thermal conductivity is much higher at 500 ~ 724 K. The maximum ZT value is 0.34 at 724 K, increasing by a factor of 4, indicating that this chalcopyrite compound is of a potential thermoelectric candidate if further optimizations of chemical compositions and structure are made.

A novel approach to the functionalization of nanometer-sized graphene was presented in this work. Covalent bonding between the filler and matrix was formed, with minimal disruption to the sp2 hybridization of the pristine graphene sheet. Functionalization proceeded by covalently bonding a 4-substituted benzoic acid monomer to the surface of expanded graphene, via ‘‘direct Friedel-Crafts” acylation in mild reaction medium of polyphosphoric acid (PPA)/phosphorous pentoxide. Polyamide 6 (PA6)-functionalized graphene (FG) composites were prepared by in situ polymerization of ε-caprolactam in the presence of nanometer-sized FG. Nanocomposite fiber with 0.1 wt.% content of nanometer-sized FG was prepared with a piston spinning machine and hot-roller drawing machine. The nanometer-sized FG performed homogeneous dispersion in the polymer matrix. The mechanical properties of the PA6-FG composites fiber was enhanced by adding FG in the polymer matrix. The new functionalization method paves the way to prepare graphene-based nanocomposites fiber simply, without disrupting the primary structures of nanometer-sized graphene.

Graphene-like carbon materials (GCMs) are prepared by the carbonization of liquid acrylonitrile oligomer (LANO) at 600-1400 °C for 4 h in an Ar atmosphere. LANO undergoes thermal oxidative dehydrogenation and preliminary cyclization by pre-process in air at low temperature (120 °C) and high temperature (220 °C) before the carbonization. Surface chemistry,crystalline and pore structures of the GCMs are characterized by scanning electron microscope (SEM), power X-ray diffraction (XRD) and N2 adsorption respectively. Comparison of the effect of various carbonization temperatures on the electrochemical performance of the electric double layer capacitors (EDLCs) is specifically investigated. The GCMs carbonized at 1300 °C for 4 h shows a fairly good electrochemical performance. The BET surface area of GCM1300 is 81.58 m2/g and the specific capacitance of the GCM1300 is 22.52 F/g in 1 mol/ L Et4NBF4/PC electrolytes.

Transparent conducting antimony doped tin oxide (ATO) films have been prepared on quartz glass substrate by pulsed laser deposition (PLD) method which is distinctive to maintain the elemental components between the targets and the obtained thin films under optimal conditions. The effect of annealing temperature on the electrical and optical properties of the ATO thin films has been discussed. The annealing treatments have been often employed to reduce the defects and enlarge the grain size for more desirable crystalline structure. As the annealing temperature increases, the ATO thin films exhibited a slightly enhanced crystallinity. Furthermore, annealing treatment can promote both conductivity and transmittance significantly, especially for conductivity. The X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy is used to explore the variation of Sb5+/Sb3+ ratio against the annealing temperature. The optimal resistivity is 2.7×10-3 Ω cm and the average transmittance is about 92% at annealing temperature of 550 oC.

So how to choose frequency window and which window can truly describe the nature of the materials, are important for every researcher. In this paper, through analyzing the experimental data of frequency dependence of ac conductivity in 50Li2O–50P2O5 glasses, a simple method to choose frequency window was found and further discussions indicated our choice was reasonable.

The influence of La2O3 on the phase and microstructure evaluation and mechanical properties of La2O3-Al2O3 ceramics sintered with 2.45 GHz microwave energy was investigated. The results showed that La2O3 could densify the pure alumina with a lower sintering temperature and a short sintering time. La2O3 reacted with Al2O3 to form LaAl11O18 completely and the amount of LaAl11O18 increased with the increasing content of La2O3, distributing at the Al2O3 grain boundaries. The specimen doped with 10 vol.% and 15 vol.% La2O3 sintered at 1500 °C exhibited plenty of columnar grains with draw ratio about 1:4. The existence of columnar grains enhanced the microhardness and fracture toughness of La2O3-Al2O3 ceramics.

Objective. To investigate the flexure strengths and elastic modulus of four types of dental fiber posts. Methods. The flexure strengths of ParaPost Taper Lux, Tenax Fiber White, Luxa Post and Rebilda Post fiber post were measured. The rupture modes were analyzed with SEM. Results. There was no significant difference between ParaPost Taper Lux (591.47±35.15MPa) and Rebilda Post (614.67±58.36MPa) in flexure strength (P>0.05), and Tenax Fiber White (846.62±71.15MPa) had significantly higher flexure strength than the other groups. There was no significant difference between Tenax Fiber White (23.93±2.14GPa) and Luxa Post (22.67±1.39GPa) in elastic modulus (P>0.05), and Tenax Fiber White and Luxa Post had significantly lower elastic modulus than other groups. It could be observed by transverse SEM that the combine of fiber and resin was even and compact and plenty of resin fragment adhered to the surface of fiber in Tenax Fiber White group, multitudinous cracks were observed by lengthwise SEM. Conclusion. The flexural properties and rupture modes of four kinds of dental fiber posts were significantly different.

Doped ceria-based (Gd0.2Ce0.8O1.9, GDC) solid electrolytes were prepared by Solid-phase synthesis method. The effect of doping bismuth oxide and samarium oxide on the phase and microstructure of GDC was investigated. The phase composition was analyzed by the X-ray diffraction (XRD).The single cubic fluorite structure was observed after doping these oxides. Appearance and microstructure of doped ceria-based solid electrolytes were analyzed by the scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and the transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The results showed that the doped trivalent cations had entered into the ceria structure uniformly. The density, porosity rate and water absorption of GDC were measured by Archimedes principle. It indicated that the density of doped GDC solid electrolyte increased with the rising of sintering temperature.

Silicon nitride (Si3N4) ceramic foam was prepared from water-based Si3N4 slurries via protein coagulation casting method with egg white protein as the foam agent. The open porosity of the as-fabricated ceramic foams was close to 80%, and the compressive strength was about 20 MPa. Further, the content of sintering additive on the phase composition, pore structure and pore size distribution were investigated. Results indicate that with the increasing of sintering aids, more windows appear on the wall of pore and the average size increases. Moreover, Pore size distribution of as-fabricated ceramic not only changes with sintering additive addition but also varies with pore size.

Porous zirconium dioxide (ZrO2) ceramics has been widely used in biomedicine, heat-insulation and piezoelectric actuators. In this study, a kind of porous ZrO2 ceramics with the gradient porosity and pore sizes was designed to be a composite lamellar material. The porosity and pore size change regularly through the thickness of the layers. This porous lamellar zirconic material has been prepared by the solid state reaction consisting of yttria-stabilized zirconia (YSZ) and stearic acid (SA) powders. The porosity and pore size can be tuned by the addition of SA. The mechanical properties of the graded porous ZrO2 have been studied in detail. The results show that the mechanical characteristics of the gradient porous ZrO2 can be controlled by changing the porosity and pore size.

The idealized microstructure of NiO/YSZ anode of solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) is that YSZ structures the bone of the anode and NiO is segregated by YSZ to keep Ni from congregation. To obtain this microstructure, the mixture of coarse YSZ and fine YSZ was used. The effect of the particle size gradation of YSZ on the microstructure of anode was studied. The results show that the homogenous microstructure can be obtained when the mass ratio of the coarse YSZ (d50=3.38µm) to the fine YSZ (d50=0.4µm) is 7:3. The pre-sintering temperature has obvious effect on the porosity of the NiO/YSZ. The bending strength of NiO/YSZ and Ni/YSZ are 123MPa and 85MPa, respectively. The reduction of NiO to Ni has less effect on the bending strength for 40vol%Ni/YSZ (7/3).

In this study, nano ZrO2 powders were incorporated into Al-5 wt% Zn sacrificial anode and the effect of ZrO2 contents (wt% =0.1, 0.2) on microstructures and electrochemical properties were investigated. The results show that the addition of nano ZrO2 was effective on improving metallurgical and electrochemical properties. With the increase of ZrO2 content, the dendritic structure is fined gradually and the corrosion current density values is also increased. The incorporation of ZrO2 also can result in a moderate efficiency value. When the ZrO2 content in the alloy was 0.2 wt%, the optimal microstructure, electrochemical properties and as high as 70% the efficiency value was obtained.

La2/3Sr1/3MnO3: Agx (LSMO: Agx) polycrystalline composites were prepared by co-precipitation method. Structure and performance of La2/3Sr1/3MnO3: Agx were investigated by X ray diffraction and R-T measurement. Results show that, all samples are perovskite structure. With the addition of Ag increased, the volume and conductivity of LSMnO: Agx were increased accordingly. The resistivity of the samples (x=0.30, 0.40) is only 10% of the pristine. The TCR of LSMO: Agx (x=0.3) is obtained maximum value of 3.39% as the Z value 0.50. It’s perhaps the proper candidate material to be high temperature electrode or near room temperature bolometer and infrared devices.

Анотація:
A kind of conductive composite material for the bipolar plate of proton-exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFC) was fabricated by the hot-pressure molding with graphite powders and polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) resin powders. The influencing factors including PPS resin content, molding pressure and molding temperature, and temperature holding time on the conductivity, flexural strength and density of the composite were investigated. It was found that the perfect conditions for the fabrication of bipolar plate were that the PPS resin content was 25%wt, the forming pressure was 20 MPa, the mold temperature was 320°C and the holding time was 25 min.
