The set of normalizers between von Neumann (or, more generally, reflexive) algebras $\mathcal{A}$ and $\mathcal{B}$ (that is, the set of all operators $T$ such that $T \mathcal{A} T^{\ast} \subseteq \mathcal{B}$ and $T^{\ast} \mathcal{B} T \subseteq \mathcal{A}$) possesses ‘local linear structure’: it is a union of reflexive linear spaces. These spaces belong to the interesting class of normalizing linear spaces, namely, those linear spaces $\mathcal{U}$ of operators satisfying $\mathcal{UU}^{\ast} \mathcal{U} \subseteq \mathcal{U}$ (also known as ternary rings of operators). Such a space is reflexive whenever it is ultraweakly closed, and then it is of the form $\mathcal{U} = \{T : TL = \phi (L) T$ for all $L \in \mathcal{L}\}$ where $\mathcal{L}$ is a set of projections and $\phi$ a certain map defined on $\mathcal{L}$. A normalizing space consists of normalizers between appropriate von Neumann algebras $\mathcal{A}$ and $\mathcal{B}$. Necessary and sufficient conditions are found for a normalizing space to consist of normalizers between two reflexive algebras. Normalizing spaces which are bimodules over maximal abelian self-adjoint algebras consist of operators ‘supported’ on sets of the form $[f = g]$ where $f$ and $g$ are appropriate Borel functions. The aim of the work is to identify strains of streptomycetes in the genomes of which there are nucleotide sequences similar to the gene cluster determining the synthesis of landomycin A (lan-cluster) and establish the level of similarity of their primary structures and organizations. Methods. Information on the sequences of the lan-cluster of Streptomyces cyanogenus S136 and chromosomal DNAs of S. cyanogenus S136, Streptomyces laculatispora NRRL B-24909, and Streptomyces griseoluteus JCM 4765 and their annotations are presented in the GenBank database on the NSBI server. A computerized analysis of the nucleotide sequences of streptomycetes was done using the program BLASTN from the server NSBI. Results. The localization of the lan-cluster in the terminal region of the S. cyanogenus S136 genome has been shown. The nucleotide sequences similar to the lan-cluster sequence of S. cyanogenus S136 were found in the genomes of two strains (S. laculatispora NRRL B-24909 and S. griseoluteus JCM 4765). Streptomycetes (S. cyanogenus S136, S. laculatispora NRRL B-24909, and S. griseoluteus JCM 4765) are not genetically related strains. Conclusions. There are newly found probable lan-clusters in the genomes of two streptomycetes strains (S. laculatispora NRRL B-24909 and S. griseoluteus JCM 4765). Landomycin clusters of three strains are organized according to the same scheme. The clusters of lan-genes are present in the genomes of genetically unrelated streptomycetes.

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis kesalahan dan faktor penyebab kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa berdasarkan prosedur Polya. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VIII B SMP Negeri 10 Denpasar berjumlah 34 orang siswa. Sampel penelitian dipilih menggunakan metode Cluster Random Sampling sehingga jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 6 orang siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa persentase kesalahan berdasarkan prosedur Polya, yaitu kesalahan memahami masalah sebesar (47,65%), kesalahan menyusun rencana sebesar (47,65%), kesalahan melaksanakan rencana sebesar (23,53%), dan kesalahan mengecek kembali sebesar (55,88%). Penyebab kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa pada materi teorema phytagoras adalah siswa tidak memahami soal, siswa terlalu terburu-buru dalam mengerjakan dan menyelesaikan soal, siswa kurang mampu menangkap informasi masalah yang terkandung dalam soal, siswa ragu menuliskan jawabannya, tidak membuat kesimpulan dari jawaban yang diberikan.

We have used the Australia Telescope Compact Array (ATCA) to make a sensitive search for maser emission from the 4765-MHz transition of OH towards a sample of 55 star formation regions. Maser emission with peak flux densities in excess of 100 mJy were detected in 14 sites, with 10 of these being new discoveries. Unlike the ground-state OH transitions the 4765-MHz transition is not predicted to be circularly polarised and none of the masers observed have detectable levels of linear, or circular polarisation. Combining our results with those of previous high resolution observations of other OH transitions we are able to investigate various theoretical models for the pumping of OH masers.

Study on the preparation proces of curcuminoid from turmeric root (Curcuma longa domestica Vahl) and its characteristics as food ingredient was conducted. The results revealed that the type of solvent, the solid-liquid ratio and extraction temperature were affected to the yield of curcuminoid content. The yield of curcuminoid content ranged from 11.96% to 14.01% (for ethanolic 60% solvent extraction), ranged from 12.91% to 15.20% (ethanolic 80% solvent extraction), and ranged from 3.85% to 7.19% (ethanolic : water 1 : 1 extraction). Results showed that the highest value of total phenolic content was recorded in ethanolic extract (S/L ratio 1 : 50 and extraction temperature 60oC) with value 146.25 mg GAE/100 g; while the lowest for a mixture of ethanol and water 1 : 1 extract (S/L ratio 1 : 30) and extraction temperature 30oC with value 101.43 mg GAE/100 g. Results also showed that the highest value antioxidant activities was recorded in ethanolic 80% extract and 15.00 g ground dry turmeric used with value 47.65% ; while the lowest value from a mixture of ethanolic and water 1 : 1 extract and 1.50 g ground dry turmeric used with value 20.04%. ABSTRAK Studi pada proses pembuatan bubuk curcuminoid dari akar kunyit (Curcuma longa domestica Vahl dan karakteristiknya sebagai bahan pangan telah dilakukan. Hasil percobaan menunjukkan bahwa jenis pelarut, perbandingan antara padatan - larutan dan suhu ekstrasi yang digunakan berpengaruh terhadap rendemen kandungan curcuminoid. Kandungan curcumnoid berkisar antara 11,96% hingga 14,01% (untuk ekstrasi dengan pelarut ethanol 60%), berkisar antara 12,91% hingga 15,20% (ekstrasi dengan pelarut ethanol 80%), dan berkisar antara 3,85 hingga 7,19% (ekstrasi dengan pelarut ethanol 50 %). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai ter tinggi dan terbaik kandungan total senyawa fenol tercatat pada ekstrasi dengan ethanol (perbandingan S/L 1 : 50 dan suhu ekstrasi 60o C) dengan nilai 148,99 mg GAE/100 g sedang nilai terendah tercatat untuk ekstrasi menggunakan pelarut 50% (perbandingan S/L 1 : 30) dan suhu ekstrasi 30 o C dengan nilai 101,43 mg GAE/100 g. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa nilai tertinggi aktifitas antioksidan tercatat pada ekstraksi menggunakan ethanol 80% dan menggunakan bahan kunyit kerin g sebanyak 15,0 g dengan nilai 47,65% ; sedang nilai terendah sebagai aktifitas antioksidan pada ekstrasi menggunakan ethanol 50% dan menggunakan bahan kunyit kering sebanyak 1,50 g dengan nilai 20,04% . Kata kunci : Rimpang kunyit (Curcuma longa domestica Vahl), kurkuminoid, proses ekstrasi, sifat karakteristik, ingredien pangan .

Sotos syndrome is an autosomal dominant genetic disorder caused by mutations in the NSD1 gene. In this study, we report a case of Sotos syndrome in a preterm infant. The main clinical manifestations were severe bronchopulmonary dysplasia, congenital heart disease, difficulty feeding, and characteristic facial appearance. The gene mutation was located at 177251854 on chromosome 5, and identified as a shear mutation, c.4765+1 G > A, which is a new mutation. The patient recovered well after symptomatic treatment. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first case of a preterm infant in whom a novel c.4765+1 G > A mutation in the NSD1 gene was identified. When premature infants present with abnormally severe bronchopulmonary dysplasia, feeding difficulties, and other congenital anomalies, Sotos syndrome should be considered.

Abstract Imaging-based machine learning models are promising tools for breast cancer risk prediction. Validating these models across diverse cohorts is necessary to establish performance and spur clinical implementation. We conducted an independent, external validation study of Mirai, a mammography-based deep learning model, using the Chicago Multiethnic Epidemiologic Cohort (ChiMEC), comprising 1671 exams from 704 cases and 4947 exams from 1437 cancer-free controls. We preprocessed images by extracting metadata from mammograms and excluded non-screening exams. Only exams with the four standard mammographic views were included. Images were converted from DICOM to PNG format using the DCMTK library. We computed the area under the receiver-operating characteristic curve (AUC) to evaluate the model’s discriminating capacity for predicting breast cancer within 1-5 years. We analyzed the entire cohort and stratified by race and hormone-receptor (HR) status. Mirai performed well in our study, but the performance is lower than that in the originally published validation of Mirai model. The AUC of the 1-year-risk is 0.72 in our full cohort, which is higher than that of the 5-year-risk (0.65). The 1-year AUC is high in African Americans but decreases over time. In contrast, the model showed lower but time-consistent AUC values in White patients. Performance is slightly better for predicting HR + compared to HR - cancers. Our results suggest that Mirai has better accuracy for predicting short-term breast cancer risk than traditional risk factor-based models, such as the Gail and Tyrer-Cuzick models. This initial evaluation revealed some performance differences by race and HR status and underscores the need for more independent validations in diverse datasets to elucidate the generalizability of image-based deep learning for breast cancer risk prediction. During the spectacular 4765 MHz excited OH maser flaring episodes observed in Mon R2 from 1994 to 1998 (Smits et al. 1998), observations were made at the line frequencies of other OH transitions. No excited OH lines were detected, nor were any 1612 or 1720 MHz OH masers found in Mon R2. 1665 and 1667 MHz OH masers were present and underwent small changes. With a peak flux of ∼ 75 Jy, the null detections and small variations at other wavelengths put strong constraints on models of OH masers.

An analysis is developed for the governing equations of steady magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) flows of an Oldroyd 8-constant electrically conducting fluid in a porous medium. The nonlinear differential equation for one-dimensional MHD steady flows is solved using a transformation method. Three nonlinear boundary value problems are then solved numerically. The effects of the material parameters, pressure gradients, exerted magnetic field, and the permeability of the porous medium on the velocity distribution are discussed. The steady laminar flow and heat transfer of an incompressible, electrically conducting, non-Newtonian fluid in an eccentric annulus are studied in the presence of an external uniform magnetic field. The inner cylinder is subject to a constant heat flux while the outer cylinder is adiabatic and the viscous and Joule dissipations are taken into consideration. The magneto–gravitational stability of double-fluid interface is discussed. The pressure in the unperturbed state is not constant because the self-gravitating force is a long-range force. The dispersion relation is derived and discussed. The self-gravitating model is unstable in the symmetric mode m = 0 (m is the transverse wave number), while it is stable in all other states. ABSTRACT Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Knowledge about preventing the COVID-19 outbreak is very important so as not to cause an increase in the number of COVID-19 cases too quickly. Public knowledge about COVID-19 can be interpreted as the result of knowing about this disease, understanding this disease, and how to prevent it. To know the relationship between public knowledge about COVID-19 prevention behavior with the incidence of COVID-19 in Pekon Lembasung, Way Kanan Regency. This type of research uses descriptive analytic method with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study is the community in Pekon Lembasung with a number of samples selected as many as 277 respondents with random sampling technique. Collecting data using a questionnaire sheet and processing data using rank spearman analysis. The frequency distribution of respondent’s characteristics is mostly with the age of 26-45 years by 57.04%, female gender (62.09%), and secondary education (59.57%), the level of public knowledge about COVID-19 prevention behavior is mostly with sufficient knowledge (47.65%), the incidence of COVID-19 was 89 respondents (32.13%). There is a relationship between public knowledge about COVID-19 prevention behavior and the incidence of COVID-19 in Pekon Lembasung, Way Kanan Regency with p value: 0.015. There is a relationship between public knowledge about COVID-19 prevention behavior and the incidence of COVID-19 in Pekon Lembasung, Way Kanan Regency. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah masyarakat di Pekon Lembasung dengan jumlah sampel yang terpilih sebanyak 277 responden dengan teknik random sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar kuisioner dan pengolahan data menggunakan analisa rank spearman. This research is about the use of word walls technique to improve students’ writing ability in descriptive text. There are some problems that faced by the students at the seventh grade students of SMPN 17 Kota Bengkulu in writing descriptive text the first is they do not have idea to write descriptive text. Second, they still confused in organizing the writing. Third, they often do some mistakes with the lack of knowledge in vocabularies. The objective of this research was to improve students’ writing ability in descriptive text using word walls technique. This research used classroom action research method that consisted of four steps, there are pre-assessment, cycle I, cycle II, and cycle III. The subject of this research was students of Class VII D in SMPN 17 Kota Bengkulu. They were 24 students that consisted of 15 male and 9 female. The instruments of this research were interview, teacher and students’ observation checklist, writing test, and documentation. Based on the finding of this research, it showed that word walls technique could improve students’ writing ability in descriptive text. Students were active in the classroom and good interaction between teacher and students. The evaluation test administrated at the end of each cycle. The result of mean score on evaluation were pre-assessment (47,65), cycle I (59,36), cycle II (67,96), and cycle III (73,95). It could be concluded that there were improvement in every cycle, a significant different between the mean score of pre-assessment and cycle III namely 47,65 and 73,95. It showed that word walls technique could improve student’s writing ability in descriptive text.

Abstract Introduction: Bladder cancer (BlCa) ranks as the sixth most prevalent cancer in the world. A number of urine based BlCa detection tests have recently been approved for clinical use, including the NMP22 tests and the bladder tumor antigen (BTA) tests for both detection and monitoring of patients with known bladder cancer. The FDA have approved them both for surveillance in BlCa only in conjunction with cystoscopy. Unfortunately, the sensitivity and specificity of these tests are poor, and cannot distinguish between aggressive and non-aggressive tumors. This project aims to identify alternate markers that can overcome these drawbacks. Methods: We characterized the global metabolome of 47 bladder tumors retrieved by radical cystectomy (RC) or TURBT, including 14 specimens with matching plasma and serum samples. All specimens were subjected to untargeted metabolomic approaches with gas chromatography- time-of-flight mass spectrometry (GC-TOF MS) to profile primary metabolites, hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography MS (HILIC-QTOF MS) to profile biogenic amines, and liquid chromatography charged surface hybrid MS (LC-CSH-QTOF MS) to characterize complex lipids. Differentially expressed metabolites were analyzed with respect to grade, stage, metastases, and the use of neoadjuvant chemotherapy. For selected metabolites, area under the ROC curve (AUC) is calculated as % sensitivity vs. 100% specificity. Expression of highly discriminatory metabolites were then validated in the plasma and serum samples to determine which forum would provide greater specificity. Results: We first assembled a discovery cohort of 33 patients who did not have matching blood specimen for primary metabolites, biogenic amines and complex lipids. Comparison of high vs low grade tumors yielded two lipids, a sphingomyelin (SM (d38) and a phosphatidylcholine PC(p-38), that were significantly different (adjusted p-value<0.05, log2fold change>2.5). These results were validated in the 14-sample cohort with matching plasma and serum of which the latter showed significant correlation between tumor and plasma (Spearman R=0.872, adj p=0.03). Conclusions: Our results indicate that certain sphingomyelins and phosphatidylcholines may be useful as plasma markers of high grade BlCa. Further analyses are required to evaluate whether these markers are more discriminatory compared to existing urinary markers. We introduce a magnetohydrodynamic model of a boundary-layer equation for a conducting viscous fluid. The state space approach is adopted for one-dimensional problems including heat sources with one relaxation time. The resulting formulation is applied to a problem for the whole space with a plane distribution of heat sources. The reflection method together with the solution obtained for the whole space is applied to a semi-space problem with a plane distribution of heat sources located inside the fluid. Computer vision researchers are actively studying the use of video in traffic monitoring. TrafficMonitor uses a stationary calibrated camera to automatically track and classify vehicles on roadways. In practical uses like autonomous vehicles, segmenting semantic video continues to be difficult due to high-performance standards, the high cost of convolutional neural networks (CNNs), and the significant need for low latency. An effective machine learning environment will be developed to meet the performance and latency challenges outlined above. The use of deep learning architectures like SegNet and Flownet2.0 on the CamVid dataset enables this environment to conduct pixel-wise semantic segmentation of video properties while maintaining low latency. In this work, we discuss some state-of-the-art ways to estimating the speed of vehicles, locating vehicles, and tracking objects. As a result, it is ideally suited for real-world applications since it takes advantage of both SegNet and Flownet topologies. The decision network determines whether an image frame should be processed by a segmentation network or an optical flow network based on the expected confidence score. In conjunction with adaptive scheduling of the key frame approach, this technique for decision-making can help to speed up the procedure. Using the ResNet50 SegNet model, a mean IoU of "54.27 per cent" and an average fps of "19.57" were observed. Aside from decision network and adaptive key frame sequencing, it was discovered that FlowNet2.0 increased the frames processed per second to "30.19" on GPU with such a mean IoU of "47.65%". Because the GPU was utilised "47.65%" of the time, this resulted. There has been an increase in the speed of the Video semantic segmentation network without sacrificing quality, as demonstrated by this improvement in performance.

Abstract We have used the Shanghai Tianma Radio Telescope to search for three OH transitions at 4.7 GHz toward 155 northern star formation regions. We detect 4.7 GHz OH masers in 18 star formation regions, 8 of which are reported here for the first time. From these 18 sources, we detect 6 4660 MHz masers, 13 4765 MHz masers, and no 4750 MHz masers. A further 1 source (Sgr B2N) has been re-detected with broad quasi-thermal emission in all three OH lines. W49SW was re-detected with broad quasi-thermal emission at both 4660 and 4750 MHz. One source (W31, G010.626−0.387) was re-detected with quasi-thermal emission at both 4750 and 4765 MHz. One source (G005.885−0.392) was first detected with quasi-thermal emission at 4660 MHz. We have investigated the associations between the detected 4.7 GHz OH masers with ground-state OH masers near 1.7 GHz, 6.7 GHz methanol masers and 22 GHz water masers reported in the literature. We find that the presence of 1665 MHz OH masers is a better indicator of the presence of 4.7 GHz OH masers than 1720 MHz OH masers. The majority of the 4.7 GHz OH masers are associated with 6.7 GHz methanol and/or 22 GHz water masers. We have compared the characteristics of our detections with those reported previously in the literature and found that only five sources are fairly stable.

Mercury ion extraction has been done using emulsion liquid membrane technique a research. The aim of the study is to determine the optimal conditions at the extraction process of mercury ion with research variables, namely variations of the surfactant concentration and the volume ratio of emulsion and external phase (Ve:Veks). In this study, the sample was 20 mg/L of Hg2+ ions in concentration. The concentration of mercury ions remaining in the sample after extraction were analyze using a UV-Vis Spectrophotometer at a wavelength of 490 nm using ditizon as complexation. The optimum condition far varying concentrations surfactant was 2% and the volume ratio of emulsion (Ve) and external phase (Veks) was 1:5 with the percentage of extraction respectively 47.65% and 56.80%.

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang ekstraksi dan karakterisasi pektin dari kulit buah kluwih (Artocarpus camansi Blanco). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui rasio dan waktu terbaik yang diperlukan untuk menghasilkan ekstrak pektin dengan rendemen tertinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri atas 2 faktor yaitu rasio perbandingan sampel terhadap pelarut dan waktu ekstraksi yang masing–masing dilakukan sebanyak 3 kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa rasio terbaik diperoleh pada perbandingan 1:50 b/v dengan rendemen pektin 47,2% dan waktu terbaik diperoleh pada 120 menit dengan rendemen 48,30%. Hasil karakterisasi pektin yang diperoleh antara lain yaitu kadar air 1,55%, kadar abu 2,2 %, berat ekivalen 609,99 mg, metoksil 11,49%, kadar galakturonat 42,47%, derajat esterifikasi 47,65% dan berat molekul 16.177,83 g/mol.Kata Kunci : ekstraksi, karakterisasi, pektin, kluwih.

As pesquisas a respeito da avaliação da sustentabilidade nos municípios da Amazônia podem constituir relevante instrumento de monitoramento para o desenvolvimento sustentável da Amazônia. Este estudo avalia os índices de Bem-Estar Humano e Bem-Estar Ambiental do município de Laranjal do Jari, com base na ferramenta Barômetro da Sustentabilidade. A estratégia intelectual do estudo ocorreu por meio do método de associação, uma vez que houve comunicação de variáveis do índice de Bem-Estar Humano com as do índice de Bem-Estar Ambiental, mas não foi constatada relação de dependência. Assim, se conclui que o município de Laranjal do Jari apresenta nível de sustentabilidade “Intermediário” (pontuação de 47,65) no índice de Bem-Estar Humano, e “Quase Sustentável” (pontuação de 66,63) no índice de Bem-Estar Ambiental.

Recently, new advances in deep learning algorithms have yielded some fascinating results in the field of computer vision technology. As a result, it can now perform activities that formerly required the use of human vision and the brain. Classification, object identification, and semantic segmentation have all seen substantial advancements in deep learning architecture in the last few years. For still images and movies, there has been a major advancement in the field of semantic segmentation. In practical uses like autonomous vehicles, segmenting semantic video continues to be difficult due to high-performance standards, the high cost of convolutional neural networks (CNNs), and the significant need for low latency. An effective machine-learning environment will be developed to meet the performance and latency challenges outlined above. The use of deep learning architectures like SegNet and FlowNet2.0 on the CamVid dataset enables this environment to conduct pixel-wise semantic segmentation of video properties while maintaining low latency. As a result, it is ideally suited for real-world applications since it takes advantage of both SegNet and FlowNet topologies. The decision network determines whether an image frame should be processed by a segmentation network or an optical flow network based on the expected confidence score. In conjunction with adaptive scheduling of the key frame approach, this technique for decision-making can help to speed up the procedure. Using the ResNet50 SegNet model, a mean Intersection on Union (IoU) of "54.27 percent" and an average frame per second of "19.57" were observed. Aside from decision network and adaptive key frame sequencing, it was discovered that FlowNet2.0 increased the frames processed per second9(fps) to "30.19" on GPU with a mean IoU of "47.65%". Because the GPU was utilized "47.65%" of the time, this resulted. There has been an increase in the speed of the Video semantic segmentation network without sacrificing quality, as demonstrated by this improvement in performance.

Abstract. The first long-term measurements of aerosol number and size distributions in South-American tropical free troposphere were performed from March 2007 until Mai 2009. The measurements took place at the high altitude Atmospheric Research Station Alexander von Humboldt. The station is located on top of the Sierra Nevada mountain ridge at 4765 m a.s.l. nearby the city of Mérida, Venezuela. Aerosol size distribution and number concentration data was obtained with a custom-built Differential Mobility Particle Sizer (DMPS system) and a Condensational Particle Counter (CPC). The analysis of the annual and diurnal variability of the tropical free troposphere (FT) aerosol focused mainly on possible links to the atmospheric general circulation in the tropics. Considerable annual and diurnal cycles of the particle number concentration were observed. Highest total particle number concentrations were measured during the dry season (519±613 cm−3), lowest during the wet season (318±194 cm−3). The more humid FT contained generally higher aerosol particle number concentrations (573±768 cm−3 during dry season, 320±195 cm−3 during wet season) than the dry FT (454±332 cm−3 during dry season, 275±172 cm−3 during wet season), indicating the importance of convection for aerosol distributions in the tropical FT. The diurnal cycle in the variability of the particle number concentration was mainly driven by local orography.

Background The worldwide human monkeypox (mpox) outbreak in 2022 mainly affected men who have sex with men (MSM). In China, young men who have sex with men (YMSM) were at a potential high risk of mpox infection due to their sexual activeness and the eased COVID-19 restrictions at the end of 2022. Objective This study aimed to investigate the behavioral intention of receiving mpox vaccination and undergoing mpox testing in 4 different scenarios and explore their associations with background and behavioral theory–related factors among Chinese YMSM. Methods An online cross-sectional survey was conducted among YMSM aged 18-29 years from 6 representative provinces of China in September 2022. Participants recruited (recruitment rate=2918/4342, 67.2%) were asked to self-administer an anonymous questionnaire designed based on prior knowledge about mpox and classic health behavior theories. Data on the participants’ background, mpox knowledge and cognition, mpox vaccination and testing cognition, and the behavioral intention of receiving mpox vaccination and undergoing mpox testing were collected. Descriptive analysis and univariate and multivariate linear regressions were performed. Geodetector was used to measure the stratified heterogeneity of behavioral intention. Results A total of 2493 YMSM with a mean age of 24.6 (SD 2.9) years were included. The prevalence of having a behavioral intention of receiving mpox vaccination ranged from 66.2% to 88.4% by scenario, varying in epidemic status and cost. The prevalence of having an mpox testing intention was above 90% in all scenarios regardless of the presence of symptoms and the cost. The positive factors related to vaccination intention included mpox knowledge (ba=0.060, 95% CI 0.016-0.103), perceived susceptibility of mpox (ba=0.091, 95% CI 0.035-0.146), perceived severity of mpox (ba=0.230, 95% CI 0.164-0.296), emotional distress caused by mpox (ba=0.270, 95% CI 0.160-0.380), perceived benefits of mpox vaccination (ba=0.455, 95% CI 0.411-0.498), self-efficacy of mpox vaccination (ba=0.586, 95% CI 0.504-0.668), and having 1 male sex partner (ba=0.452, 95% CI 0.098-0.806), while the negative factor was perceived barriers to vaccination (ba=–0.056, 95% CI –0.090 to –0.022). The positive factors related to testing intention were perceived severity of mpox (ba=0.283, 95% CI 0.241-0.325), perceived benefits of mpox testing (ba=0.679, 95% CI 0.636-0.721), self-efficacy of mpox testing (ba=0.195, 95% CI 0.146-0.245), having 1 male sex partner (ba=0.290, 95% CI 0.070-0.510), and having in-person gatherings with MSM (ba=0.219, 95% CI 0.072-0.366), while the negative factor was emotional distress caused by mpox (ba=–0.069, 95% CI –0.137 to –0.001). Conclusions Among Chinese YMSM, the intention of undergoing mpox testing is optimal, while the mpox vaccination intention has room for improvement. A future national response should raise YMSM’s mpox knowledge, disseminate updated information about mpox and preventive measures, improve preventive service accessibility and privacy, and provide advice on positively coping with the associated emotional distress.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan penurunan salinitas optimal bagi pertumbuhan dan kelulusan hidup kepiting bakau, Scylla serrata. Bobot benih yang digunakan sekitar 47,65-51,32 gram dan panjang karapas 64,35-71,30 mm dan dimasukkan dalam 12 tangki (1 m x 1 m x 0,4 m) dengan kepadatan 4 ekor. Kepiting diberi makan usus ayam segar sekitar 10% bobot perhari. Penggantian air lebih dari 150% per minggu. Pada awal percobaan setiap tangki berisi salinitas yang sama (33 ppt). Setiap minggu tiap tangki dilakukan penurunan salinitas sesuai perlakuan, yaitu (A) salinitas tetap, (B) penurunan salinitas 2 ppt, (C) penurunan salinitas 4 ppt, dan (D) penurunan salinitas 6 ppt. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penurunan salinitas 4 ppt adalah perlakuan terbaik untuk kepiting bakau, tetapi tidak berpengaruh pada nilai kelulusan hidup

In the case of an elementary operator on a $C^*$-algebra, the approach leads us to characterize k-positivity of the operator in terms of positivity of a quadratic form on a subset of the dual space of the algebra and in terms of a certain inequality involving factorial states of finite type I.As an application we characterize those $C^*$-algebras where every k-positive elementary operator on the algebra is completely positive. They are either k-subhomogeneous or k-subhomogeneous by antiliminal. The matrix exponential method, which constitutes the basis of the state space approach of modern control theory, is applied to the nondimensional equations of unsteady boundary layer flow past an infinite plane surface with a pressure gradient. Laplace-transform techniques are used. The results obtained can be used to generate solutions in the Laplace-transform domain to a broad class of problems in magneto-hydrodynamic boundary layer flow. The technique is applied to the problem of an electrically conducting micropolar fluid flowing past a vertical plane surface in the presence of a transverse magnetic field and to the problem of flow between two parallel plates. A numerical method is employed for the inversion of the Laplace-transforms. Numerical results are given and illustrated graphically for both problems.PACS No.: 47.65+a
