Повний текст джерелаThe master's thesis analyzes the methods and tools that ensure reliable and stable operation of computer systems in case of excessive heat dissipation. As a result, conclusions were made about the feasibility of using certain technical solutions and methods of thermoregulation in the relevant computer systems. The use of tools and technologies in various computer systems is justified, it has allowed to reduce heat dissipation and load on the equipment and stabilize their work with prolonged use, which in turn increases the reliability and performance of the system. The expediency of using certain methods and means for thermoregulation in different types of computer systems, to increase the performance of systems when processing large amounts of information, which in turn affected the excessive energy consumption and thus increase excessive heat. Such technical solutions and means of thermoregulation of computer systems have allowed to increase the productivity and reliability of the systems, as well as to extend the service life at the maximum level of load on individual elements of the system and the system as a whole.

The tendencies of development of mathematical models of traffic of computer networks and methods of their forecasting are analyzed. The model of computer network traffic through PСSP was implemented, which provided the development of a method and algorithm for component processing of computer network traffic and enabled the calculation of network traffic forecasting indicators in the form of components. The software implements a system for forecasting computer network traffic using Matlab to calculate the components of network traffic as an indicator of forecasting this network. According to the results of empirical research, the fact of full compliance of computer network traffic congestion with the values of the calculated components is stated.

Повний текст джерелаIn the qualification work the process of evaluating the efficiency of the multiservice network by means of computer simulation modeling LabView is carried out. A simulation model of a multiservice network has been developed to model its behavior in different scenarios using Riverbed Modeler technology. The efficiency of the multiservice network with the use of simulation tools with different network parameters using IPv4 and IPv6 protocols is evaluated. Based on the obtained results of network scenario modeling, the procedure of comparing the efficiency of IPv4 and IPv6 protocols was carried out. The efficiency of the multiservice network with the use of simulation tools at different network parameters when using VLAN is evaluated.

On the basis of the mathematical apparatus the algorithm of effective detection of useful stochastic-periodic radio signals in telecommunication networks with interferences by calculation of components of correlation as quantitative indicators of detection is constructed. A tool for effective detection of stochastic-periodic radio signals in telecommunication networks with interference in the form of program code when using MATLAB for telecommunication systems has been developed. An empirical study of the process of detection of stochastic-periodic radio signals in telecommunications networks with interference, which confirmed the fact of the development of the developed means of detecting useful radio signals.

Повний текст джерелаO Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) é um mecanismo de transporte de dados, sob a forma de um protocolo agnóstico, com grande potencial de crescimento e adequação. Opera na “Camada 2.5” do modelo OSI e constitui um mecanismo de alto desempenho utilizado nas redes de núcleo para transportar dados de um nó da rede para outro. O sucesso do MPLS resulta do facto de permitir que a rede transporte todos os tipos de dados, desde tráfego IP a tráfego da camada de ligação de dados, devido ao encapsulamento dos pacotes dos diversos protocolos, permitindo a criação de “links virtuais” entre nós distantes. O MPLS pertence à família das “redes de comutação de pacotes”, sendo os pacotes de dados associados a “etiquetas” que determinam o seu encaminhamento, sem necessidade de examinar o conteúdo dos próprios pacotes. Isto permite a criação de circuitos “extremo-aextremo” através de qualquer tipo de rede de transporte e independentemente do protocolo de encaminhamento que é utilizado. O projecto do MPLS considera múltiplas tecnologias no sentido de prestar um serviço único de transporte de dados, tentando simultaneamente proporcionar capacidades de engenharia de tráfego e controlo “out-of-band”, uma característica muito atraente para uma implementação em grande escala. No fundo, o MPLS é uma forma de consolidar muitas redes IP dentro de uma única rede. Dada a importância desta tecnologia, é urgente desenvolver ferramentas que permitam entender melhor a sua complexidade. O MPLS corre normalmente nas redes de núcleo dos ISPs. No sentido de tornar o seu estudo viável, recorreu-se nesta dissertação à emulação para implementar cenários de complexidade adequada. Existem actualmente boas ferramentas disponíveis que permitem a recriação em laboratório de cenários bastante complicados. Contudo, a exigência computacional da emulação é proporcional à complexidade do projecto em questão, tornando-se rapidamente impossível de realizar numa única máquina. A computação distribuída ou a “Cloud Computing” são actualmente as abordagens mais adequadas e inovadoras apara a resolução deste problema. Esta dissertação tem como objectivo criar algumas experiências em laboratório que evidenciam aspectos relevantes da tecnologia MPLS, usando para esse efeito um emulador computacional, o Dynamips, impulsionado por generosas fontes computacionais disponibilizadas pela Amazon ec2. A utilização destas ferramentas de emulação permite testar cenários de rede e serviços reais em ambiente controlado, efectuando o debugging das suas configurações e optimizando o seu desempenho, antes de os colocar em funcionamento nas redes em operação.
The Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) is a highly scalable and agnostic protocol to carry network data. Operating at "Layer 2.5" of the OSI model, MPLS is an highperformance mechanism that is used at the network backbone for conveying data from one network node to the next. The success of MPLS results from the fact that it enables the network to carry all kinds of traffic, ranging from IP to layer 2 traffic, since it encapsulates the packets of the diverse network protocols, allowing the creation of "virtual links" between distant nodes. MPLS belongs to the family of packet switched networks, where labels are assigned to data packets that are forwarded based on decisions that rely only on the label contents, without the need to examine the packets contents. This allows the creation of end-to-end circuits across any type of transport medium, using any protocol. The MPLS design takes multiform transport technologies into account to provide a unified data-carrying service, attempting simultaneously to preserve traffic engineering and out-of-band control, a very attractive characteristic for large-scale deployment. MPLS is the way to consolidate many IP networks into a single one. Due to this obvious potential, it is urgent to develop means and tools to better understand its functioning and complexity. MPLS normally runs at the backbone of Service Providers networks, being deployed across an extensive set of expensive equipment. In order to turn the study of MPLS feasible, emulation was considered as the best solution. Currently, there are very good available tools to recreate, in a lab environment, quite complicated scenarios. However, the computational demand of the emulation is proportional to the complexity of the project, becoming quickly unfeasible in a single machine. Fortunately, distributed computing or Cloud computing are suitable and novel approaches to solve this computation problem. So, this work aims to create some lab experiments that can illustrate/demonstrate relevant aspects of the MPLS technology, using the Dynamips emulator driven by the computational resources that were made available by the Amazon ec2 cloud computing facilities. The utilization of these emulation tools allows testing real networks and service scenarios in a controlled environment, being able to debug their configurations and optimize their performance before deploying them in real operating networks.

Повний текст джерелаRepresented work has solved an important scientific and applied problem in the field of information technology based on the performed theoretical and experimental research. We had increased the efficiency of corporate computer networks in terms of increasing usable throughput with physical constraints on network resources in computer systems with non-stationary traffic flows. The study of the current state of corporate computer network (CCN) management in non-stationary flow of requirements allowed to select the main areas of research, such as the adequacy of analysis and forecast of information on the state of the network, delivery delays of signal and control information, optimality of produced control impacts with minimal resource costs. The improved method of analysis of statistical characteristics and flow models of heterogeneous network traffic requirements with marking (prioritization) of traffic flows, aggregated and sparse flows allows to obtain estimates of the predicted network load and adjust the parameters of controllers. A method of optimal control of a computer network has been developed, which, due to the application of a modified criterion of generalized work of Alexander A. Krasovsky using the informational criterion function, makes it possible to find optimal controls for a composite network in real time. The developed method of system stability control allows ensuring a stable state of the system with random delays of signal and control information. The mathematical model was improved in the form of the transition function of the network node as a controlled object. This model, in contrast to the known ones, takes into account the presence of delays in signal and control information. It provides optimal choice of response time constant of the controlled object and sufficient stability resource of the system. The improved method of signal and control information transfer, due to the definition of the optimal distributed hierarchical control structure and the implementation of control information transport in the autonomous network segment at the data link layer reduces the delivery time of service information by 25%. The developed method of evaluating the effectiveness of the network management system allows evaluating the quality of the control system on its impact on network performance. Developed information technology for corporate computer network management makes it possible to achieve quality of service (QoS) objectives for various services at minimal cost of information resources. The practical significance of the obtained results is determined by the fact that the proposed models and methods are the scientific and methodological basis for the development of information technology for CCN control systems using new methods of distributed control of available network resources in terms of signal and control information delays. The developed methods and information technology are implemented by integrating them with the corporate network management system and allow optimal redistribution of switching equipment resources to ensure QoS of different types of network services. The first section reviews and analyzes the current state of the problem of CCN management in non-stationary request flows, existing approaches, methods, hardware and software to solve the tasks. The second section discusses the features of modern traffic in corporate computer networks, identifies four main groups of flows and presents mathematical models for each type of flow: flow from an independent source, aggregated, sparse and labeled flows. The results of experimental traffic analysis are presented in third section and the method of analysis of statistical characteristics and flow patterns of modern CCM was improved. The fourth section develops a method of optimal computer network management based on vector functional with informational criterion function. The fifth section analyzes the stability of the state of the autonomous segment with delays in signal and control information and develops a method for control stability of the system based on forced return in the field of stability. The sixth section presents a mathematical model in the form of the transfer function of the router as a controlled object and proposes an approach to the choice of time constants of the switching node based on the results of asymptotic estimation of signal information delays. The seventh section develops the method for estimation the efficiency of control and develops information technology of management of CCN with stages of identification, forecasting, selection of optimal management strategy, which allows achieving QoS objectives for different services with minimal information resources required for this.

Повний текст джерелаComputer system are nowadays evolving quickly. The classical model which consists in associating a physical machine to every users is becoming obsolete. Today, computer resources we are using can be distributed any place on the Internet and usual workstations are not systematically a physical machine anymore. This fact is enlightening two important phenomenons which are leading the evolution of the usage we make of computers: the Cloud computing and hardware virtualization. The cloud computing enable users to exploit computers resources, with a fine grained granularity, with a non-predefined amount of time, which are available into a cloud of resources. The resource usage is then financially charged to the user. This model can be obviously profitable for a company which wants to lean on a potentially unlimited amount of resources, without administrating and managing it. A company can thereby increase its productivity and furthermore save money. From the physical machine owner point of view, the financial gain related to the leasing of computing power is multiplied by the optimization of machine usage by different clients. The cloud computing must be able to adapt quickly to a fluctuating demand a being able to reconfigure itself quickly. One way to reach these goals is dependant of the usage of virtual machines and the associated virtualization techniques. Even if computer resource virtualization has not been introduced by the cloud, the arrival of the cloud it substantially increased its usage. Nowadays, each cloud provider is using virtual machines, which are much more deployable and movable than physical machines. Virtualization of computer resources was before essentially based on software techniques. But the increasing usage of virtual machines, in particular in the cloud computing, leads the microprocessor manufacturers to include virtualization hardware assistance mechanisms. Theses hardware extensions enable on the one hand to make virtualization process easier et on the other hand earn performances. Thus, some technologies have been created, such as Intel VT-x and VT-d or AMD-V by AMD and virtualization extensions by ARM. Besides, virtualization process needs the implementation of extra functionalities, to be able to manage the different virtual machine, schedule them, isolate and share hardware resources like memory and peripherals. These different functionalities are in general handled by a virtual machine manager, whose work can be more or less eased by the characteristics of the processor on which it is executing.In general, these technologies are introducing new execution modes on the processors, more and more privileged and complex.Thus, even if we can see that virtualization is a real interest for modern computer science, it is either clear that its implementation is adding complexity to computer systems, at the same time software and hardwarecomplexity. From this observation, it is legitimate do ask the question about computer security in this context where the architecture of processors is becoming more and more complex, with more and more privileged execution modes. Given the presence of multiple virtual machine, which do not trust each other, in the same physical machine, is it possible that the exploitation of one vulnerability be carried out by a compromised virtual machine ? Isn't it necessary to consider new security architectures taking these risks into account?This thesis is trying to answer to these questions. In particular, we are introducing state of the art security issues in virtualized environment of modern architectures. Starting from this work, we are proposing an originalarchitecture ensuring the integrity of a software being executed on a computer system, regardless its privilege level. Повний текст джерелаThe research presents a general theoretical and methodological description of the cloud-based learning environment design problem and methods of use of a cloud-based learning environment in the training of bachelors in computer science. The concept of “a cloud-based learning environment used in the training of bachelors in computer science” is specified as a learning environment of a higher educational institution where didactical purposes of the training of bachelors in computer science and collaboration between teachers and students are achieved through the use of cloud-computing technologies and services. On the basis of the theoretical analysis of scientific literature the main features and requirements that the cloud-based learning environment should meet were identified. As a result of the theoretical analysis it was found that to design a learning environment means to study objective and methodical aspects of a learning process in an educational institution where a learning environment will be established. The problem statement and developments were analyzed in foreign pedagogical sources. The results of the analysis show that the design of a cloud-based environment and the use of cloud-based technologies are the key components of the learning process at universities in the USA, Great Britain, Czech Republic, Germany, Bulgaria, Australia, Brazil, while other countries are at the stage of studying the best practices of implementing cloud-based technologies in higher education. The specific features and peculiarities of the training of bachelors in computer science were selected: in the process of professional training different languages and programming technologies are studied; students participate in the implementation of common projects, etc. The author’s structured model of the cloud-based learning environment used in the training of bachelors in computer science was developed and substantiated. The model is aimed at achieving the learning goals stated in the standards of higher education through all the structural components of the cloud-based learning environment (CBLE). The features that such a cloud-based learning environment should correspond to were identified. The interaction model between participants of the learning process in the cloud-based learning environment was developed. The procedure of the design of a cloud-based learning environment used in the training of bachelors in computer science is presented and substantiated. It consists of the following stages: analysis, problem statement, setting of goals and objectives, formulation of requirements for the cloud-based learning environment, CBLE modeling, CBLE development, CBLE use in the training of bachelors in computer science, efficiency checking, CBLE implementation in higher educational institution for the training of bachelors in computer science. The following criteria and relevant indicators for selecting cloud-based learning support systems were selected: design (reliability; accessibility; multilingual; safety; adaptability; ease of use and administration; price); technological (provisioning of access with different access levels; storage of data in a cloud; integrations with other cloud-based services; options to upload different types of files); communicational (membership features, options to communicate with users, creation of groups, forum and chat features); informational and didactical (structure, calendar, assessment of students' academic achievements, file sharing, testing and interviewing, options to organize the group and individual forms of work, analytics for a particular course). The conducted expert evaluation has shown that the most convenient and high quality toolkit for designing CBLE of a higher education institution when considering all the criteria is NeoLMS. The content-methodical component forms, methods, means (both traditional and cloud-oriented ones) of the structural cloud-oriented learning environment model have been specified, that can be implemented in this cloud-oriented training support system of bachelors in computer science. The following criteria and relevant indicators for web-based and cloud-based technologies for the training of bachelors in computer science were selected: for compilers: design (reliability, accessibility, price) and functional (entering input data by users; usability; multilingual); for systems of automated assessment of programming assignments: design (reliability; accessibility; multilingual; usability; price); informational and didactical (predefined assignments; classification of assignments using sections, creation of competitions, indication of the number of attempts to pass an assignment, methodical section, rating, help center); communicational (membership features, options to communicate with users, creation of groups); for mind maps: design (adaptability, price, availability, usability, cloud infrastructure); functional (multilingual, storage of mind maps, distribution of mind maps, library of templates); for MOOC platforms: informational and didactical (creation of own courses, predefined courses, coverage of a variety of subjects, coverage of topics of a discipline, assignments, courses of world top universities); functional (multilingual, membership, one account - multiple courses). The expert evaluation has shown that the most convenient and high quality tools when considering all criteria are: among web-oriented and cloud-based compilers: ideone.com, and AWS Cloud 9; among systems of automated assessment of programming assignments - e-olymp and TopCoder; among cloud-based mind maps - Mindmeister; among MOOC platforms - Udemy. The general structure of the methodical system of the use of CBLE in the training of bachelors in computer science was presented, the purpose, content, methods, means and forms were defined. To improve the content of the use of CBLE in the training of bachelors in computer science it was suggested: to select the cloud-based training support systems (CBTSS) as a part of CBLE for the use in the educational process of bachelors in computer science, as well as cloud-based training courses that are appropriate for the use in the process of training bachelors in computer science; to improve the content of disciplines, which are directly related to programming, towards supporting the usage of CBTSS and cloud-based learning tools (CBLT) in the curriculum of various subjects of such disciplines; to develop and implement the optional discipline "Cloud technologies in education" to familiarize students with peculiarities of the use of various cloud based tools in the training process of bachelors in computer science, as well as to conduct additional courses (trainings) for teachers of Institutions of General Secondary Education (IGSE) and professors of Institutions of Higher Education (IHE) to familiarize them with peculiarities of the use of cloud based tools in the educational process of IGSE and IHE. For the complex implementation of this methodical system it is necessary to use CBTSS, as a component of the CBLE, selected CBLT and Web-oriented systems of automated assessment of programming assignments in the professional training of bachelors in computer science. The essence of the concept "IC-competence of bachelors in computer science on the use of CBLE" is specificated - it is an ability of an expert to use cloud technologies in the further professional practice, as well as to solve various tasks in the field of computer science and ICT. In order to increase the effectiveness of the use of the CBLE in the training of bachelors in computer science, a set of recommendations on the peculiarities of setting up and using the cloud-based training support system in the process of professional training of bachelors in computer science was created. The scientific novelty and the theoretical value of the obtained results are: for the first time: characteristics, that the cloud-oriented learning environment used in the training of bachelors in computer science must be compliant with, have been generalized, systematized and revealed; theoretically substantiated and developed the following components and systems: the methodical system of use of the cloud-based learning environment in the training of bachelors in computer science; the structural model of the cloud-based learning environment used for the training of bachelors in computer science, the model of interactions between students and teachers in the cloud-based learning environment, the procedure of designing a cloud-based learning environment for the training of bachelors in computer science, the criteria and relevant indicators for selecting a cloud-oriented training support system as a component of the cloud-based learning environment for the training of bachelor in computer science (design, technological, communicational, informational and didactical), the criteria and relevant indicators for selecting cloud-based and web-based learning tools for the training of bachelors in computer science (for compilers - design, functional; for systems of automated assessment of programming assignments - design, informational and didactical, communicational; for mind maps - design, functional; for MOOC platforms - informational and didactical, functional); specified the concept of "cloud-based learning environment for the training of bachelors in computer science" as a learning environment of a higher educational institution where didactical purposes of the training of bachelors in computer science and collaboration between teachers and students are achieved through the use of cloud-computing technologies and services; "cloud-based training support system" as a system that ensures collaboration between teachers and students as well as development, management and distribution of educational materials by tools of cloud technologies which are available to the subjects of the training process through shared access; "IC-competence of bachelors in computer science on the use of CBLE" as an ability of an expert to use cloud technologies in the further professional practice, as well as to solve various tasks in the field of computer science and ICTon the basis of mastered computer knowledge, skills and abilities; criteria (value and motivational, cognitive, operational and active, research, didactic) and relevant indicators and levels (low, medium, sufficient and high) of IC-competence of bachelors in computer science on the use of cloud-based learning environment; further developed the theoretical and methodological foundations of the use of ICT in open education, the creation of a computer-based learning environment based on cloud technologies, and methodological principles of improvements of skills of scientific and pedagogical staff on the use of cloud technologies in education. The practical values of the obtained results are: designed: the cloud-based learning environment for the training of bachelors in computer science, which provides a unified integrated system for monitoring initial achievements of bachelors in computer science, communication at a distance and notification of subjects of the educational process; a cloud-based component of the CBLE – the cloud-based training support system: https://zsucloudinform.neolms.com/; selected: the cloud-based training support system as a component of the cloud-based learning environment, as well as web-based and cloud-based learning tools; developed and implemented in the educational process of institutions of higher education: the following teaching aids for students of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics: "Cloud technologies in education", "Information security in computer systems", "Visual programming", "Software testing technologies", "Methods of computing", "Object-oriented programming in C++ "and "Dynamic Programming"; the main components of the methods of use of a сloud-based training support system as a component of the CBLE, cloud-based learning tools in the training of bachelors in computer science, web-oriented learning tools in the training of bachelors in computer science; recommendations for teachers on the use of cloud-based training support system in the training of bachelors in computer science; educational and methodical complexes for "Cloud technologies in education" as for a discipline for masters in computer science and as for an additional course for bachelors in computer science; additional courses (trainings) "Cloud technologies in education" for the scientific and pedagogical staff to develop their information and communication competences; The results of the research were used during the process of creation and operation of the Joint Research Laboratory on the use of information and communication technologies in education in Zhytomyr Ivan Franko State University and the Institute of Information Technologies and Learning Tools of NAES of Ukraine. Materials of the research can be used at institutions of higher education and scientific institutions during the training of bachelors and masters in computer science and in the process of improving the qualification of teachers and scientific and pedagogical staff, to improve the educational process, in self-education activities of the scientific and pedagogical staff

No projecto de salas de espetáculos, deve ser prática comum o seu tratamento sonoro, para que se proporcione, com os requisitos iniciais do sistema e da futura utilização, o melhor conforto acústico para os seus utilizadores. Na presente dissertação, são apresentados os resultados de medições de alguns parâmetros acústicos efectuadas no Auditório Comendador Manuel Correia Botelho do Conservatório Regional de Vila Real-Portugal. Estas medições foram realizadas “in-situ”, tendo como base a norma ISO 3382-1 - “Medição de parâmetros acústicos - Salas de espetáculo”. Foram também efectuadas modelações do auditório no software de análise e design acústico RayNoise, para diferentes abordagens da sua geometria. De forma a validar os resultados obtidos, foi feita uma compara,cão entre os resultados obtidos “in-situ” e os resultados provenientes do software. Foram calculados os parâmetros T60(30), EDT, C80, D50, TC, RaSTI e STI para oito bandas de oitava. Foi também utilizado um espaço como simulação de uma sala reverberante, para se calcularem os coeficientes de absorção de alguns materiais e posteriormente estabelecer uma medida de relação entre valores de absorção obtidos e valores de absorção reais.
In halls, the acoustic treatment should be common practice, so that they provide, with the initial requirements of the system and future use, the best acoustic comfort for their users. In this article, are presented the results of measurements of acoustic parameters made in the Auditorium Comendador Manuel Correia Botelho of the Conservatory of Vila Real-Portugal. These measurements were carried out “in-situ”, based on ISO 3382-1 - “Measurement of acoustic parameters - show rooms.” It was also made the auditorium acoustic modeling with the analysis software RayNoise for different approaches of the auditorium geometry. In order to validate the results, a comparison was made between the results obtained “in-situ” and the results from the software. The parameters T60(30), EDT, C80, D50, TC, RaSTI and STI were calculated for eight octave bands. It was also used a space as simulation of a reverberant room, to calculate the absorption coefficients of some materials and then establish a relationship between the absorption values obtained and the real absorption values.

Повний текст джерелаNos últimos anos a World Wide Web tem verificado um crescimento exponencial em múltiplas dimensões, que variam desde o conjunto de tecnologias envolvidas até ao volume de informação disponível. Tal, por um lado, veio conferir-lhe o estatuto de meio incontornável para a consulta de informação mas, por outro lado, trouxe problemas como, por exemplo, a crescente dificuldade de se obter uma visibilidade significativa dos websites desenvolvidos. Assim, os meios e mecanismos de promoção como, por exemplo, os banners publicitários, a presença em motores de pesquisa, e muitos outros mecanismos, são fundamentais para se alcançar a visibilidade de projectos. Nesta dissertação procuramos identificar e caracterizar os diferentes mecanismos de promoção de websites na Internet e apresentamos um breve referencial das acções deste tipo particularmente pensado para portais Web. Também são apresentados os resultados obtidos com a aplicação de diversos mecanismos de promoção Web ao caso do PortalTSI.net.

The nature of the concepts of “information and communication support for research activities”, “information and communication competence of scientific specialists” in the field of pedagogical sciences is clarified. The analysis of theoretical approaches to problems of communication and information support of scientific and pedagogical specialists in the field of pedagogical sciences is done; the model for communication and information support of scientific activity using of EРrints system developed and scientifically grounded, as well as the model of researchers’ information and communication competence development in the field of pedagogical sciences is built. The recommendations on EPrints system using in the scientific activities in the field of pedagogical sciences are elaborated. The results of the pedagogical experiment confirm outlined in the thesis hypothesis and are the basis for conclusion: experimental verification of the methodology of using of ЕРrints system as a tool for communication and information support for scientific activity is effective and can be implemented in the process of scientific activity in the field of pedagogical sciences
Диссертационное исследование посвящено проблеме использования системы ЕРrints как средства информационно-коммуникационной поддержки научной деятельности в области педагогических наук. Уточнены понятия “информационно-коммуникационная поддержка научной деятельности”, “информационно-коммуникационная компетентность научных работников в области педагогических наук”. Осуществлен анализ теоретических подходов проблемы информационно-коммуникационной поддержки научных и научно-педагогических работников в области педагогических наук, разработана и научно обоснована модель информационно-коммуникационной поддержки научной деятельности с использованием системы EРrints и модель развития информационно-коммуникационной компетентности научных работников в области педагогических наук. Даны рекомендации по использованию системы EPrints в научной деятельности в области педагогических наук, которые помогут и окажут содействие субъектам научной деятельности для получения и распространения научного результата с использованием информационно-коммуникационных технологий. Уточняется, что модель информационно-коммуникационной поддержки научной деятельности с использованием системы EРrints реализуется с учетом организационно-педагогических условий как совокупности объективных возможностей, обеспечивающих успешное решение поставленных задач научными и научно-педагогическими работниками средствами системы EPrints в научной деятельности. Определены основные компоненты информационно-коммуникационной поддержки научной деятельности научных работников в области педагогических наук. Структура информационно-коммуникационной поддержки включает два блока: источники и инструменты. Источники информационно-коммуникационной поддержки научной деятельности включают такие элементы как ресурсы, базы данных, обмен опытом в научных сообществах и др. К инструментам относятся средства, обеспечивающие работу с электронными источниками сведений и данных; совокупность методов и приемов, используемых для их сбора, систематизации, хранения, обработки, передачи и представления. Определено, что сервисы системы EРrints непосредственно поддерживают такие составляющие научной деятельности в области педагогических наук как обзор опыта и анализ результатов научно-педагогических исследований по изучаемой проблеме и внедрение результатов научной продукции. Описана методика использования EPrints для информационно-коммуникационной поддержки научной деятельности в области педагогических наук, сформулированы цель и содержание подготовки к работе с системой EPrints, описано организационно-педагогические условия и технологию подготовки научных и научно-педагогических работников к работе с системой EPrints (формы, методы, средства). Результаты педагогического эксперимента подтверждают изложенную в диссертации гипотезу и являются основой для вывода: экспериментальная проверка методики использования системы ЕРrints как средства информационно-коммуникационной поддержки научной деятельности является эффективной и заслуживает внедрения в процесс научной деятельности в области педагогических наук

In the work the theoretic-methodological bases of the distant education in the context of the development of the teachers’ subjective competences. The methodical bases of Moodle System usage as the way of the development of teachers’ of Informatics subjective competences. The effectiveness of the usage of Moodle System as the way of the development of the teachers’ of Informatics subjective competences in the cases of the distant postgraduate education is developed and checked up experimentically. It provides the qualitative development of the distant courses, the weekly scheduling of the educational activity and the tutor’s support.

Повний текст джерелаA evolução da tecnologia e paradigmas associados no sentido de uma maior integração de recursos e interação transparente com os mesmos, têm um grande expoente no Cloud Computing. As organizações, nomeadamente de Ensino Superior, dispõem de um leque alargado de recursos, no entanto por vezes insuficientes para as necessidades da instituição, noutros casos ou momentos com uma taxa de utilização modesta. Uma forma de potenciar e melhorar a utilização dos referidos recursos é a constituição de uma Cloud Académica Federada. A constituição desta não um exercício linear e simples devido a vários fatores como economia, responsabilidade, autonomia, contabilização, entre outros. Neste trabalho propomos um modelo de federação que tem em conta estes aspetos, mas também outros como fiabilidade, extensão e princípios de construção através de um conjunto de premissas. Para testar a exequibilidade do modelo proposto foi desenvolvido um protótipo, que também providenciou alguma realimentação para a definição do modelo. Elementos como a integração de clouds públicas ou privadas, fora da esfera do Ensino Superior, quer ao nível das Cloud Zonas, quer ao nível da federação foram abordadas, bem como da possibilidade das Cloud Zonas ou federação providenciar serviços para outras entidades, do domínio público ou privado, foram consideradas.
The evolution of technologies and associated paradigms towards a greater integration of resources and transparent interaction with them, have a great exponent in Cloud Computing. Organizations, including Higher Education, have a wide range of resources, but sometimes insufficient for the needs of the institution, in other cases or periods with a modest slice of utilization. One way to boost and improve the usage of these resources is the development of a Federated Academic Cloud. The implementation of this cloud is not a linear and a simple exercise, due to several factors such as economy, responsibility, autonomy and accounting, among others. In this work, we propose a federation model that takes into account those aspects, but also others such as reliability, scalability and construction principles through a set of premises. A prototype was developed to test the feasibility of the proposed model, providing some feedback to the model architecture. Elements such as integration of public or private clouds, outside the scope of Higher Education, both at the level of the Cloud Zones and at the level of the federation were addressed, as well the possibility to provide services to other entities in the public or private domain, from a Cloud Zone or from the whole federation.

Повний текст джерелаA presente investigação teve como finalidade analisar de que forma os sites das autarquias veiculam as políticas e as ações das respetivas autarquias na área da educação e da animação sociocultural, incluindo a animação socioeducativa. A revisão bibliográfica desenvolveu-se em torno dos seguintes tópicos: autarquias e educação, com enfâse nas novas competências das autarquias; animação sociocultural, com ênfase na animação socioeducativa; trabalho em rede em educação. A metodologia centrou-se na análise do conteúdo dos sites de seis autarquias do interior norte de Portugal. A análise de conteúdo realizada teve como principais objetivos perceber: quais as orientações patentes nos sites relativamente à educação; de que forma as atividades educativas/socioeducativas/de animação sociocultural promovidas pelas autarquias são referidas nos respetivos sites; perceber se é detetado algum tipo de trabalho em rede na área da educação e da animação sociocultural. Os resultados mostram que todos os sites das autarquias fazem abordagem à temática da educação de forma direta; abordam também, embora sem os identificarem como tal, objetivos e atividades que cabem dentro dos conceitos de animação socioeducativa e de animação sociocultural. Porém, cada um dos sites apresenta um discurso e espaços quantitativamente diferentes sobre estas temáticas. A principal conclusão é que, com base na análise de conteúdo dos sites das autarquias, a maioria destas parecem assumir o seu papel social na educação e são também, agentes de animação sociocultural e por consequência, agentes de desenvolvimento comunitário.
This research aimed to investigate how the websites of municipalities convey the policies and actions of the respective municipalities in the area of education and socio-cultural activities, including youth work. The literature review was developed around the following topics: local government and education, with emphasis on new powers of municipalities; sociocultural animation, with emphasis on youth work; networking in education. The methodology focused on content analysis of the websites of six municipalities in the interior north of Portugal. A content analysis was performed as main objectives to realize: what guidance patents in relation to education sites, how the educational activities / socio / socio-cultural activities promoted by local authorities are mentioned in respective sites, and see if it detects any type of networking in the area of education and socio-cultural activities. The results show that all sites are of local approach to the theme of education directly; deal too, though without identifying them as such, objectives and activities that fit within the concepts of socio-educational and socio-cultural activities. However, each site has a speech and quantitatively different spaces on these subjects. The main conclusion is that, based on the content analysis of the websites of municipalities, most of these seem to assume its role in social and education are also agents of sociocultural and therefore agents of community development.

Повний текст джерелаA computação autónoma tem sido proposta como uma abordagem para reduzir os custos e a complexidade de gestão da infra-estrutura de Tecnologias de Informação (TI). Um sistema autonómico deve ser considerado como um sistema que se auto-configura, auto-optimiza, auto-cura e se auto-defende. Para efeito desse comportamento autónomo, um sistema deve controlar o seu funcionamento e as interacções com outros sistemas externos. É necessário representar essas informações num modelo que permita a sua interpretação automatizada e controlo, agrupando conhecimento sobre como automatizar acções de gestão. Neste trabalho procurou-se abordar a evolução histórica das tecnologias de rede até á evolução natural do conceito de redes autónomas. Os projectos sobre redes autónomas adoptam várias abordagens descentralizadas (isto é, autónomas ou distribuídas) para novas arquitecturas e serviços de Internet com propriedades de auto-organização. Nesta dissertação são explicados os quatro maiores projectos (ANA, CASCADAS, BIONETS e HAGGLE). É também proposto um modelo, solução, ferramentas e uma implementação de monitorização para a infra-estrutura de Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação da Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro gerida pelo Centro de Informática da UTAD. São por fim feitas as considerações necessárias para a integração da solução de monitorização proposta neste estudo no contexto de uma arquitectura de redes autonómicas.
Autonomic computing has been proposed as an approach to reducing the cost and complexity of managing Information Technology (IT) infrastructure. An autonomic system is one that is self-configuring, self-optimizing, self-healing and self-protecting. To effect such autonomic behaviour, a system must instrument its operational behaviour and external interactions with other systems. It needs to represent this information in a model which admits automated interpretation and control, incorporating knowledge on how to automate management actions. This thesis addressed the networking technologies historical evolution up to the natural evolution of the Autonomic networks concept. The launched autonomic projects address several decentralised (i.e. autonomic or distributed) approaches for new Internet architectures and services, featuring self-organising properties. The four major projects in this area were presented (ANA, CASCADAS, BIONETS and HAGGLE). A monitoring model, solution, tools and implementation for the Information and Communication Technology infrastructure of University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro managed by the CI-UTAD was proposed. Finally, the relevant considerations for the integration of the proposed monitoring model into an autonomic networking architecture are presented.

Повний текст джерелаO acesso à Internet tem-se tornado um bem essencial ao ser humano, quer para fins profissionais quer pessoais. A constante investigação na área das redes tem permitido a sua disseminação por todo o globo, apesar das suas limitações físicas e do interesse limitado dos operadores no que diz respeito à sua implementação. Consequentemente, regista-se hoje uma grande assimetria na disponibilização de serviços de Internet entre as zonas de grande concentração populacional e áreas com populações dispersas. A forma encontrada de fazer frente a esta discriminação tecnológica consiste na exploração das tecnologias sem fios, onde a construção de infra-estruturas é normalmente significativamente inferior à cablada. Contudo, a nível nacional, a disponibilização das tecnologias celulares não abrange todo o continente nem goza da qualidade desejada, apesar de anunciada como banda larga Este trabalho realiza um levantamento das tecnologias wireless de banda larga emergentes, presentemente activas e passíveis de serem utilizadas no combate à exclusão tecnológica, que actualmente ainda afecta as populações das zonas rurais e semi-rurais, especificamente no que diz respeito ao acesso à Internet de banda larga a um custo acessível. Inerente ao estudo de uma tecnologia sem fios é efectuado um estudo sobre as arquitecturas aplicáveis, é feito o enquadramento legal e estudada a propagação do sinal electromagnético. Com base nas tecnologias estudadas, é seleccionada a que se revela mais adequada para aplicação numa zona semi-rural Portuguesa, sendo esta tecnologia sujeita a uma análise mais cuidada. A solução especificada descreve os equipamentos, a infra-estrutura, o software, a arquitectura lógica e as configurações a realizar, desde o core da rede à entrega segura de Internet ao consumidor final para o tipo de problema referido. A solução alcançada implicou o estudo, planificação, teste parcial e documentação do estudo de caso piloto para uma freguesia semi-rural do distrito de Leiria.
Internet access has become an essential asset for human being, both for professional or personal purposes. The continuous investigation in network areas has allowed its worldwide diffusion, despite the physical constraints and the limited interest of the operators concerning to its implementation. Consequently, there’s nowadays an emphasized asymmetry in the delivery of Internet services between dense population and diffuse population areas. The solution for this technological discrimination consists in the investigation and empowerment of wireless technologies, which generally implies smaller efforts in infrastructure construction when compared to wired technologies. Despite all this, at a national level, the distribution of celular technologies doesn’t reach the totality of the territory nor has the desired quality, even though it’s announced as broadband. This work comprises an examination of the emergent broadband wireless technologies, currently active and suitable for the struggle against technological exclusion, which still affects in the present, the rural and semi-rural populations, specifically regarding to broadband Internet access at a reasonable cost. Inherent to the study of a wireless technology, it is included the study of the applicable architecture, the legal background and the propagation of the electromagnetic signal. Based on the aforementioned study, it is selected the technology which is found to be more suitable for the implementation in a Portuguese semi-rural area, and subjected to a more detailed analysis. The specified solution describes the equipments, the infrastructure, the software, the logical architecture and configurations to carry out, ranging from the core to the safe delivery to the final consumer for the specific targeted problem. This achievement comprised the study, planning, partial implementation and documentation of a case study for a semi-rural area in Leiria’s district.
