We are introducing a significant improvement for the generation of references (footnotes) in accordance with the requirements of the legal style Bluebook (21st ed. and 20th ed.). From now on, the appropriate components of footnotes in Bluebook Style will be abbreviated automatically in compliance with the rules explained in the manual.
This applies to the names of courts (e.g. Appeals Court → App. Ct.), titles of periodicals (e.g. Harvard Law Review → Harv. L. Rev.), names of institutions, and all the other appropriate footnote elements.
This novelty will allow you citing both legal and secondary sources in Bluebook Style more easily and accurately.
