Cette thèse se propose d'aborder la question de la polyphonie telle qu'elle se manifeste dans les romans de l'auteur comorien, Ali Zamir, que sont Anguille sous roche, Mon Étincelle, Dérangé que je suis et Jouissance. Suivant une approche à la fois énonciative et sémiostylistique, nous nous fixons pour objectif de faire ressortir tout ce qui contribue à faire de ces romans des textes polyphoniques : outils linguistiques, mécanismes langagiers, techniques discursives, etc. Ce travail de recherche part de l'hypothèse que la polyphonie est le trait par rapport auquel se définissent tous ceux que Zamir a mobilisés pour la construction de la littérarité de ses textes ; laquelle littérarité - comme cela est indiqué, dans la théorie sémiostylistique dont nous nous servirons, ne peut être déterminée que lors de la réception. C'est ainsi qu'une importance particulière sera accordée à l'analyse du lecteur pour montrer, entre autres objets, quels impacts peut avoir sur son activité de récepteur la combinaison des différentes « voix » convoquées par le scripteur, dont la sienne. Ce travail essaiera d'étudier le processus énonciatif mis en scène dans chaque roman, en analysant les différents rapports entre les actants qui y prennent part : narrateurs, lecteur (et autres destinataires), scripteur et éditeur, tous feront l'objet de l'analyse menée dans cette thèse
This thesis aims to address the question of polyphony as it manifests itself in the novels of the Comorian author, Ali Zamir, which are Anguille sous roche, Mon Étincelle, Dérangé que je suis and Jouissance. Following an approach that is both enunciative and semi-stylistic, we set ourselves the objective of bringing out everything that contributes to making these novels polyphonic texts: linguistic tools, language mechanisms, discursive techniques, etc. This research work starts from the hypothesis that polyphony is the trait in relation to which all those that Zamir mobilized for the construction of the literariness of his texts are defined; which literarity - as indicated, in the semiostylistic theory which we will use, can only be determined during reception. This is how particular importance will be given to the analysis of the reader to show, among other objects, what impacts the combination of the different “voices” summoned by the writer, including his own, can have on his activity as a receiver. This work will attempt to study the enunciative process staged in each novel, by analyzing the different relationships between the actors who take part in it: narrators, reader (and other recipients), writer and editor, all will be the subject of the analysis carried out in this thesis

Resumo:

La mia tesi si concentra sullo sviluppo del movimento sabbatiano in Italia tra il XVII e il XVIII secolo, una fase tarda del Sabbatianesimo. Il tentativo è quello di descrivere questo post-sabbatianesimo e i suoi rappresentanti attraverso lo studio di figure come quelle di Binyamin ben El‘azar Coen Vitale da Reggio (1651-1730), un rabbino piemontese identificato da Gershom Scholem - il padre degli studi sabbatiani - come un modello nel panorama sabbatiano italiano. Dopo una contestualizzazione storica e culturale che compara il mondo cristiano e quello ebraico dell'epoca, e il misticismo ebraico italiano con quello originario di Safed in Galilea, ho analizzato la produzione letteraria di Binyamin Coen. Mi sono concentrata sui suoi testi a stampa, traducendo integralmente e analizzando la versione a stampa di‘Et ha-zamir, "Il tempo del canto", una raccolta di poesie cabalistiche (piyyutim), composta da poesie per i giorni della settimana e per le festività principali. la prim a edizione a stampa del "Tempo del canto" risale al 1707, e fu stampata a Venezia. Il testo era utilizzato nel contesto delle confraternite cabalistiche dei ghetti italiani, e spicca per l'uso molto particolare della metrica legata alla cabbala. ‘Et ha-zamir è infatti perfettamente inserito in un'epoca che vide una vasta diffusione della mistica ebraica.
My thesis focuses on the development of sabbatean movement in Italy between the XVII and XVIII century, so a late phase of Sabbateanism. I am trying to describe this post-sabbateanism and his representatives through the study of a figure such as Binyamin ben El‘azar Coen Vitale da Reggio (1651-1730), a Piedmontese rabbi identified by Gershom Scholem – the father of the sabbatean studies – as a paragon of Sabbateanism in the Italian landscape. After an historical and cultural contex- tualization carried out by a comparative approach that compares both the Jewish and Christian environment at the time, and the Jewish Italian mysticism with the one originated from Safed in Galilee, I analyze the literary production of Binyamin Coen. I focus on his printed texts, in particular I translate entirely and analyze the printed edition of ‘Et ha-zamir, The time of song a collection of cabalistic piyyutim (poems), composed of poems for each day of the week and for the main festivities. The first printed edition of "The time of the song" dates back to 1707, and was printed in Venice. The text was used in the context of the pietistic brotherhoods in the Jewish Italian ghettos, and stands out for his very particular mystic use of the metric. ‘Et ha-zamir is therefore perfectly inscribed in an era who saw a large spread of Kabbalah.

Resumo:

Aim of this thesis is to design a business plan for a new company entering the market. The first part discusses the theoretical basis of financial planning. The second part focuses on the company itself and the analysis of the current situation. The following part proposes a five-year financial plan from 2017 to 2021, an assesment of the financial plan, the optimistic and pessimistic scenario of the market developement. Last part contains a risk analysis and suggestions for risks which have been identified as undesirable.

Resumo:

Disertacija obrađuje problematiku praktičnog uvođenja opterećenja izazvanihzakošavanjem dizalice u normiranu proceduru dokaza zamorne čvrstoće njene nosećekonstrukcije. U prvom delu rada koncizno je izložena teorijska podloga zakošavanjamosne dizalice, neophodna za potpunije razumevanje relevantnih obeležja predmetaistraživanja. Predložene su metode za eksperimentalnu determinaciju bočnih sila uinterakciji točak – šina, odn. vodeća rolna – šina. Testiranje predloženih metodaspovedeno je kroz eksperimente na realnom objektu – jednogredoj električnoj mosnojdizalici nosivosti 3,2 t i raspona 8,91 m. Komentarisani su reprezentativni rezultati idate su smernice za sprovođenje dokaza zamorne čvrstoće detalja noseće konstrukcijedizalice, uzimajući u obzir pri tom i spektre sila zakošenja. Takođe je ukazano i naneke nejasnoće i nedorečenosti u važećim standardima, a u vezi proračunskogodređivanja sila zakošenja.
The dissertation deals with the problem of practical application of loadings caused bycrane skewing, in normative procedures of fatigue strength proof calculations of cranesupporting structure. In the first part, the theoretical framework of bridge craneskewing, necessary for better understanding of relevant characteristics of the researchtopic, has been concisely elaborated. Methods are proposed for experimentaldetermination of lateral forces in wheel/rail and guiding roller/rail contacts. Thesemethods were tested through a series of experiments on a real object – an electricallydriven single girder bridge crane with a capacity of 3.2 t, and span 8.91 m. Somerepresentative measurement results are discussed and guidelines are given forperforming the fatigue strength proof calculation of crane supporting structure details,taking into account skewing forces spectra, too. Also, attention has been drawn tocertain unclear points and inconsistencies in norms in force, concerning calculativedetermination of skewing forces.

La stereochimie de l'addition des organo-magnesiens allyliques sr les enones a ete etudiee. Sur les enones acycliques, l'addition du chlorure de crotylmagnesium conduit a des 1,5-hexadiene-3-ols obtenus sous forme d'un melange erythro-threo. La proportion d'isomere threo croit avec celle de la configuration 5-cis de l'enone. Avec les dialkylidenecyclohexanones, l'addition axiale du chlorure deconfiguration erythro. Un modele compact a ete propose pour decrire l'etat de transition. Les 1,5-hexadiene-3-ols traites au reflyx de l'acide acetique par des quantites catalytiques de tetrakis triphenylphosphine palladium en presen,ce d'acide trifluoroacetique se cyclisent en 1-methyl-1,3-cyclopentadienes. O trabalho proposto tem como principal objetivo analisar os enredos dos contos El Zahir, El Aleph e La escritura del dios, presentes no livro El Aleph, do escritor argentino Jorge Luis Borges. Os contos foram selecionados para um estudo mais elaborado, por serem contos de bastante expressividade e singularidade referentes aos símbolos e pelos argumentos contidos no livro El Aleph. A pesquisa objetiva encontrar pontos convergentes entre as três narrativas, demonstrado características do realismo fantástico presentes na escrita de Borges, sua importância para a formação dos símbolos borgianos e o papel desses símbolos como unidades de significação dentro do texto. Espera-se, a partir das análises, tentar chegar a uma visão das relações entre o texto, a significação dos símbolos presentes e o contexto geral das narrativas, pela demonstração de como as tramas das três narrativas em questão se interligam, se antecipam e se completam. ______________________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT
This study is meant to examine the plots of the tales El Zahir, El Aleph and La escritura del dios, from the book El Aleph, written by the Argentine writer Jorge Luis Borges. The stories were selected for a more elaborate study, due to their expressiveness and uniqueness concerning symbols and arguments in the book El Aleph. The research aims to find convergence between the three narratives, demonstrating characteristics of the magical realism present in Borges’s writing, its importance for the formation of Borgesian symbols and the role of these symbols as meaning units within the text. It is expected, based on the analysis, to reach a view of relations between the text, the meaning of the symbols and the general context of the narrative. Showing thus how the plots of the three narratives in question interconnect, anticipate and complete themselves.

Resumo:

Primena biomarkera ćelijske energetike, uključujući indikatore metabolizma kreatina u krvi, je relativno novijeg datuma, gde se ovi indikatori koriste kao mogući pokazatelji stanja organizma pri maksimalno intenzivnim fizičkim aktivnostima. Cilj istraživanja je obuhvatao utvrđivanje efekata pojedinačnih epizoda aerobnog i anaerobnog vežbanja maksimalnog intenziteta na biomarkere perifernog zamora i ćelijske bioenergetike kod mladih muškaraca i žena. Istraživanje je dizajnirano tako da obuhvati populaciju fizički aktivnih muškaraca i žena, kao i populaciju aktivnih sportista. U prvom eksperimentalnom tretmanu fizički aktivni ispitanici muškog (n =12) i ženskog pola (n = 11) podvrgnuti su test protokolima aerobnog i anaerobnog opterećenja maksimalnog intenzivnog i kratkog trajanja. Tokom aerobnog test protokola ispitanici su trčali do maksimalnog voljnog otkaza na tredmil traci sa progresivnim povećanjem opterećenja. Pri anaerobnom test protokolu ispitanici su izvršili testiranje snažne izdržljivosti gornjih ekstremiteta do otkaza potiskom sa ravne klupe, uz opterećenje od 25% od njihove telesne težine. Drugi eksperimentalni tretman je sačinjen iz pre-eksperimentalnog testiranja kardiorespiratorne forme i eksperimentalne protokol sesije trčanja do maksimalnog voljnog otkaza na pokretnoj traci, pri konstantnoj individualnoj brzina trčanja na anaerobnom pragu. U ovom eksperimentalnom tretmanu bila je uključena populacija aktivnih sportista (n = 10). Pre, tokom i nakon eksperimentalnih sesija praćena je koncentracija različitih biohemijskih i hematoloških markera: guanidinosirćetna kiselina (GAA); kreatin (Cr); kreatinin (Crn); laktat (Lac); interleukin-6 (IL-6); kreatin kinaza (CK); kortizol (Cor). Rezultati prvog eksperimentalnog tretmana su utvrdili statistički značajne promene u koncentraciji GAA, Cr i Crn u ktvi pre i nakon pojedinačne epizode aerobnog i anaerobnog vežbanja maksimalnim intenzitetom. Utvrđena je i statistički značajna povezanost između vežbanjem-indukovanih promena u cirkulatornim vrednostima GAA, Cr, Crn za vreme pre, tokom i nakon drugog eksperimentalnog tretmana. Uočena je statistički značajna povezanost između promena koncentracije GAA, Cr, Crn u serumu sa tradicionalnim biomarkerima perifernog zamora (IL6, Cor, Lac, CK). Dobijeni rezultati ukazuju na mogućnost primene biomarkera metabolizma kreatina u krvi prilikom praćenja i evaluacije stanja organizma tokom maksimalnih intenzivnih fizičkih aktivnosti kod mladih muškaraca i žena.
The use of biomarkers of cellular bioenergetics in exercise science appears more prevalent in recent years, where these outcomes perhaps describe changes in creatine metabolism during strenuous exercise. The aim of this study was to determine the effects of individual episodes of strenuous aerobic and anaerobic exercise on several biomarkers of peripheral fatigue and cellular bioenergetics in young men and women. The study recruited physically active men and women, and active athletes. In the first experiment, physically active men (n = 12) and women (n = 11) were subjected to strenuous aerobic and anaerobic exercise. During the aerobic test, subjects ran to exhaustion while during the anaerobic test, subjects performed repetitive bench press exercise. The second experimental treatment consisted of a pre-experimental testing of cardiorespiratory fitness, and an experimental protocol of a strenuous running session to exhaustion at constant individual running speed at the anaerobic threshold; active athletes (n = 10) were included in this experimental treatment. The blood levels of various biochemical and hematological markers were monitored before, during and after the experimental sessions, including guanidinoacetic acid (GAA); creatine (Cr); creatinine (Crn); lactate (Lac); interleukin-6 (IL-6); creatine kinase (CK); cortisol (Cor), and plethora of other physiological outcomes. We found statistically significant changes in serum GAA, Cr and Crn before and after a single session of strenuous aerobic and anaerobic exercise. A significant correlation was found between exercise-induced changes in serum GAA, Cr and Crn before, during and after the second experimental intervention. A statistically significant association was observed between changes in serum GAA, Cr, Crn and traditional biomarkers of peripheral fatigue (IL6, Cor, Lac, CK). The results of the present study suggest that biomarkers of creatine metabolism might be used as innovative tools in monitoring strenuous exercise in young men and women.

Predmet ove doktorske disertacije je definisanje metoda i procedureza procenu veka konstrukcije tornja postrojenja za istraživanje naftei gasa. Dati su rezultati eksperimentalnih istraživanja radi analizeotpornosti prema prslinama pri statičkom i pri promenljivomopterećenju eksploatisanog i novog materijala konstrkcije tornjapostrojenja za istraživanje nafte i gasa.

Током учесталог вежбања, нарочито професионалних спортиста, мишићи се привремено замарају, услед чега може доћи до пада функционалних способности. Замор мишића услед физичког вежбања постао је један од најважнијих предмета спортске науке. Циљ ове студије био је да се праћењем биохемијских параметара замора и оштећења мишића и оксидативног стреса у току једне појединачне тренажне епизоде утврди замор мишића и антиоксидативни статус кошаркашица након оптерећења изазваног са три различита врсте аеробног тренинга: континуирано ниско интензивни (НИК), континуирано високо интензивни (ВИК) и интервални аеробни тренинг (HIIT). У склопу укрштеног (crossover) дизајна изабран је узорак од 12 кошаркашица које су биле подвргнуте тестирању у предтакмичарској фази. Узорци крви узети су пре и одмах након тренажне епизоде у три наврата у размаку од по седам дана између сваког типа тренинга. Осим узимања узорака крви, проверан је пулс пре тренинга, одмах након тренинга, потом након првог, трећег и петог минута опоравка, затим, испитанице су радиле субјективну процену замора по Борговој скали одмах након тренинга, па затим у првом, трећем и петом минуту опоравка. Биохемијски параметри које смо анализирали били су маркери оштећења мишића, маркери целуларне биоенергетике, параметри оксидативно/антиоксидативног статуса. Резултати истраживања указују на то да маркери замора и оштећења мишића бележе варијабилност у резултатима с обзиром на врсту тренинга. Евидентиране су разлике у маркерима лактати, миоглобин и креатин киназа између НИК и HIIT. У мерењима срчане фреквенције у више временских тачака, статистички значајне разлике појавиле су се између ВИК и HIIT, што је у корелацији са добијеним налазима маркера оштећења мишића. Такође, субјективна процена замора прати добијене налазе и бележи значајно повећање после иста два тренинга одмах после, у првом и трећем минуту опоравка. Од маркера целуларне биоенергетике евидентиране су разлике у креатинину после НИК и HIIT тренинга. Индекс липидне пероксидације (TBARS), као један од параметара оксидативног стреса, бележи промене после НИК. Концентрација нитрита (NO2-) бележи такође статистички значајно повећање код НИК, али и код HIIT. Од испитиваних параметара антиоксидативне заштите једино каталаза (CAT) бележи значајно повећање код НИК. У процени стања замора мишића и деловања ензима оксидативно/антиоксидатине статуса, према добијеним резултатима, најсензитивнији маркери који су реаговали на различите тренажне епизоде, односно на различита аеробна оптерећења јесу миоглобин, лактати, креатин киназа и креатинин, а каталаза је показала могућност дискриминације различитих врста аеробног оптерећења.
Tokom učestalog vežbanja, naročito profesionalnih sportista, mišići se privremeno zamaraju, usled čega može doći do pada funkcionalnih sposobnosti. Zamor mišića usled fizičkog vežbanja postao je jedan od najvažnijih predmeta sportske nauke. Cilj ove studije bio je da se praćenjem biohemijskih parametara zamora i oštećenja mišića i oksidativnog stresa u toku jedne pojedinačne trenažne epizode utvrdi zamor mišića i antioksidativni status košarkašica nakon opterećenja izazvanog sa tri različita vrste aerobnog treninga: kontinuirano nisko intenzivni (NIK), kontinuirano visoko intenzivni (VIK) i intervalni aerobni trening (HIIT). U sklopu ukrštenog (crossover) dizajna izabran je uzorak od 12 košarkašica koje su bile podvrgnute testiranju u predtakmičarskoj fazi. Uzorci krvi uzeti su pre i odmah nakon trenažne epizode u tri navrata u razmaku od po sedam dana između svakog tipa treninga. Osim uzimanja uzoraka krvi, proveran je puls pre treninga, odmah nakon treninga, potom nakon prvog, trećeg i petog minuta oporavka, zatim, ispitanice su radile subjektivnu procenu zamora po Borgovoj skali odmah nakon treninga, pa zatim u prvom, trećem i petom minutu oporavka. Biohemijski parametri koje smo analizirali bili su markeri oštećenja mišića, markeri celularne bioenergetike, parametri oksidativno/antioksidativnog statusa. Rezultati istraživanja ukazuju na to da markeri zamora i oštećenja mišića beleže varijabilnost u rezultatima s obzirom na vrstu treninga. Evidentirane su razlike u markerima laktati, mioglobin i kreatin kinaza između NIK i HIIT. U merenjima srčane frekvencije u više vremenskih tačaka, statistički značajne razlike pojavile su se između VIK i HIIT, što je u korelaciji sa dobijenim nalazima markera oštećenja mišića. Takođe, subjektivna procena zamora prati dobijene nalaze i beleži značajno povećanje posle ista dva treninga odmah posle, u prvom i trećem minutu oporavka. Od markera celularne bioenergetike evidentirane su razlike u kreatininu posle NIK i HIIT treninga. Indeks lipidne peroksidacije (TBARS), kao jedan od parametara oksidativnog stresa, beleži promene posle NIK. Koncentracija nitrita (NO2-) beleži takođe statistički značajno povećanje kod NIK, ali i kod HIIT. Od ispitivanih parametara antioksidativne zaštite jedino katalaza (CAT) beleži značajno povećanje kod NIK. U proceni stanja zamora mišića i delovanja enzima oksidativno/antioksidatine statusa, prema dobijenim rezultatima, najsenzitivniji markeri koji su reagovali na različite trenažne epizode, odnosno na različita aerobna opterećenja jesu mioglobin, laktati, kreatin kinaza i kreatinin, a katalaza je pokazala mogućnost diskriminacije različitih vrsta aerobnog opterećenja.
During intense exercise, especially professional athletes, muscles are temporarily tired, resulting in a decline in functional abilities. Damage caused by muscle stiffness due to physical exercise has become one of the most important subjects of sports science. The aim of this study was to determine the muscle fatigue and the antioxidative status of basketball players following a load caused by three different types of aerobic training: continuous low intensity (LIC), continuous high intensity (HIC) and intermittent aerobic training (HIIT). As part of the crossover design, a sample of 12 basketball players that were tested at the pre-match phase was selected. Blood samples were taken before and immediately after the training episode on three occasions at intervals of seven days between each type of training. In addition to taking blood samples, pulse testing was performed before training, immediately after training, then after the first, third and fifth minutes of recovery, then the subjects were subjective assessment of fatigue on the Bragg scale immediately after the training, then in the first, third and fifth minutes recovery. The biochemical parameters we analyzed were markers of muscle damage, markers of cellular bioenergetics, parameters of oxidative stress and the activity of enzymes of protection against oxidative damage. The results of the study indicate that the markers of muscle damage record the variability in the results compared to the type of training. Differences in markers of lactates, myoglobin and creatine kinase were recorded between LIC and HIIT. In relation to the heart rate measured at several time points, statistically significant differences have occurred between HIC and HIIT, which is correlated with the findings of the markers of muscle damage. Also, a subjective estimate of fatigue follows the findings obtained and shows a significant increase after the same two trainings immediately after, in the first and third minutes of recovery. Differences in creatinine from LIC and HIIT training were recorded from cellular bioenergetic markers. The lipid peroxidation index (TBARS), as one of the parameters of oxidative stress, records changes after LIC. The concentration of nitrite (NO2-) also recorded a statistically significant increase in LIC, but also in HIIT. From the tested parameters of antioxidant protection, only catalase (CAT) showed a significant increase in NIK. In the assessment of muscular fatigue and oxidative / antioxidant status, according to the obtained results, the most sensitive markers that responded to different training episodes or different aerobic loads were myoglobin, lactates, creatine kinase and creatinine, while the catalase showed the possibility of discrimination of different species aerobic load.

In my diploma thesis I try for an objective evaluation and analysis of the history of the Democratic republic of the Congo since the year 1960, when the country gained its independence from Belgium, until the first years of the 21st century. The whole time period of 50 years of the existence of the country is divided into several intervals according to important events, which influenced the country's political development. Consequently one chapter of the thesis is devoted to each time period. In the conclusion of my thesis I try to evaluate the contemporary situation in the Democratic republic of the Congo and suggest solutions for the future.

In addition to habitat loss and fragmentation, habitat degradation can have important consequences for biodiversity and population persistence, including effects on ecological and genetic processes beyond decreased demographic viability and the loss of genetic variation. Particularly interesting is the potential for evolutionary changes and adaptation to degraded habitats, that can affect population viability even in the short-term. Here, I explore how environmental changes after habitat degradation affect the evolutionary dynamics of populations of the rainforest cycad Zamia fairchildiana, specifically how habitat degradation affects gene dispersal, inbreeding, directional selection, and genotype-by-environment interactions, and the potential for genetic differentiation between populations. Colonies of Z. fairchildiana showed little genetic differentiation in neutral molecular markers across study sites, thus can be considered as subpopulations. Subpopulations in the disturbed habitat are experiencing different environmental conditions when compared to subpopulation in their native habitat. Disturbed-habitat subpopulations showed a faster life-history. This faster life history is associated with a weaker spatial genetic structure and higher levels of inbreeding in the disturbed-habitat subpopulations. In addition, higher light availability in the disturbed habitat seems to be a major agent of selection on traits like leaf production that have the potential to respond to selection in these subpopulations. Different traits were under selection in the native-habitat subpopulations, suggesting the potential for genetic differentiation between native and disturbed-habitat subpopulations. Genotype by environment interactions in seed germination and seedling survival, in response to light and water availability, further suggested that subpopulations can adaptively diverge between habitats, but the relative role of genetic and environmental factors, particularly maternal effects, on the magnitude and rate of genetic differentiation between subpopulations remains to be evaluated. These results suggest that habitat degradation can have important consequences for the evolutionary dynamics of populations of this cycad, not necessarily typical of habitat loss and fragmentation. This study identified factors and processes important for population persistence in degraded habitats, but population responses to habitat degradation are complex. Thus further studies and long-term experiments are required for better understanding the effects of habitat degradation on population viability.

Variranjem učešća struganogasfalta i dodatnog drobljenog kamenog agregata i variranjem učešća oba vezivaomogućeno je praćenje uticaja sastava na mehaničke karakteristike mešavine.Uticaj vrste i količine upotrebljenog veziva na mehaničke karakteristike nosećegsloja kolovoza sagledano je kroz variranje sadržaja cementa i bitumenske emulzije.Predmet istraživanja je definisanje međusobne zavisnosti odnosno korelacije,određenih mehaničkih karakteristika mešavine u funkciji vrste i količinekomponentnih materijala i veziva i ocena njihovih fundamentalnih mehaničkihkarakteristika.
In dissertation are resented results of own experimental research onsamples that have been prepared with different amount of reclaimedasphalt (RAP) and the additional - "new" crushed stone aggregate. Byvarying participation of reclaimed asphalt and additional crushed stoneand varying participation of both binders monitoring of the impact of thecomposition on the mechanical properties of the mixture was enabled.The influence of type and amount of binder on the mechanical propertiesof the pavement base layer is seen through variation in the content ofcement and bitumen emulsion. The subject of the research is to define themutual dependence and correlation of certain mechanical characteristicsof the mixture as a function of the types and quantities of componentmaterials and binders and evaluation of their fundamental mechanicalproperties.

Resumo:

Through the creation of a graphic novel based on a Romanian Holocaust survivor’s testimony, this study attempts to clarify the role of artistic creation in meaning-making during Holocaust and genocide education. In facilitating empathy and moral education, the creative process encourages a deeper exploration of these troubling topics than is possible within the confines of a traditional academic approach. In order to understand this process, I worked with the testimony of Zoly Zamir, who escaped Bucharest following the Iron Guard Rebellion of 1941. The creation of the graphic novel took me from Austin to Houston and Romania, where I sought to trace the echoes of history in architecture and environment. Translating Zamir’s story into word and image produced an empathetic bond to the narrative and the region, facilitating a deeper understanding of the hows and whys of the Holocaust. That engagement spurred a desire to continue to ask questions, to look beyond a regimented understanding and view the broader implications of the history.

Natural plant secondary metabolites are often used in human life. Currently, a variety of research and active applications are constantly developing new applications and has been discussed, such as anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antibacterial, suppression of pests and diseases. For more diversified development and application, the main goal of this study, we use a variety of chromatographic analysis methods, separation and purification of extracts from the leaves of Zamia furfureace L. Identification and analysis of chemical composition and biological activity of the compounds contained in the detection of separation. According to the results of the pre-test, the crude extract from the leaves of Zamia furfureace L. to the human gastric cancer cell line AGS 48 hours, with the cytotoxicity effect, the IC50 value of 18.9 μg / ml. In this study, we isolated four known natural compounds from Zamia furfureace L.,include of three lignin compounds, which are Sesamin (1), Wodeshiol (2) and Paulownin (3), the other natural compounds are alkaloids Aurantiamide acetate (4). IV All structures of the compounds described by a variety of NMR spectra, with physical data (IR, mass spectrometry, ultraviolet, optical rotation), and compared to the data in the literature related compounds in the past to be established. Abstract 　A daughter of Caribbean immigrants and born in racially mixed New York, Audre Lorde has multiple identities as being black, woman, and lesbian. Zami: A New Spelling of My Name is the autobiographical narrative of her black lesbian experience. Even though Lorde was born in America, she does not consider racist America as her home. Instead, she is more fascinated with Grenada, her mother’s homeland, and a place she knows from her mother’s storytelling. This study analyzes Lorde’s Zami to investigate how Harlem, Mexico and Greenwich Village, three locations Lorde lived, shaped her identities and helped her find her home. 　The first chapter deals with Lorde’s birthplace, Harlem, the beginning of her quest. It is a heterosexual community of diverse inhabitants. Growing up in Harlem, Lorde is aware of her racial differences because people around her are mostly white. But, her lesbian identity has not yet begun to emerge. The second chapter focuses on Lorde’s Mexico trip in which she commutes between two places, Mexico City and Cuernavaca. In Mexico City, she shares the racial sameness with the residents because Mexico City has many dark-skinned people whom she can identify with; on the other hand, staying in Cuernavaca enables her to meet with Eudora, her lesbian lover who enlightens her in sexuality. Thus, Lorde develops her racial identity in Mexico City and her lesbian identity in Cuernavaca. The third chapter discusses Lorde’s last stop in Zami, Greenwich Village. It is a homosexual community where many gays and lesbians gather and which features a gay and lesbian subculture. Being involved in this kind of homosexual community, Lorde develops her racial identity. To conclude, each of these three places forces Lorde to grow, change, and shape her identities as being a black lesbian. Her efforts to seek her identities and other women’s love finally help her to locate herself and recreate her home, a mythical space in the text.

Most gymnosperms produce a pollination drop that captures and transports pollen into the ovule. Pollination drops have other functions. These include influencing pollen germination and pollen tube growth, defending the ovule from pathogens and providing a food reward in insect-pollinated gymnosperms. Mineral and organic molecules, including proteins, are responsible for these additional functions. To date, pollination drops from a handful of conifers and one non-conifer gymnosperm, Welwitschia mirabilis, have been subjected to proteomic analysis. In the present study, tandem mass spectrometry was used to detect proteins in all gymnosperm lineages: cycads (Ceratozamia hildae, Cycas rumphii, Zamia furfuracea); Gnetales (Ephedra compacta, E. distachya, E. foeminea, E. likiangensis, E. minuta, E. monosperma, E. trifurca; Gnetum gnemon; Welwitschia mirabilis); Ginkgo biloba; conifers (Taxus x media). PEAKS 6 DB (Bioinformatics Solutions, Waterloo, ON, Canada) was used to make protein identifications. Proteins were detected in all gymnosperm species analyzed. The numbers of proteins identified varied between samples as follows: one protein in Welwitschia female; nine proteins in Cycas rumphii; 13 proteins on average in Ephedra spp.; 17 proteins in Gnetum gnemon; 38 proteins on average in Zamia furfuracea; 57 proteins in Ginkgo biloba; 61 proteins in Ceratozamia hildae; 63 in Taxus x media; 138 proteins in Welwitschia male. The types of proteins identified varied widely. Proteins involved in carbohydrate modification, e.g. galactosidase, chitinase, glycosyl hydrolase, glucosidase, were present in most gymnosperms. Similarly, defence proteins, e.g. reduction-oxidation proteins, lipid-transfer proteins and thaumatin-like proteins, were identified in many gymnosperms. Gymnosperms that develop a deep pollen chamber as the nucellus degrades, e.g., cycads, Ginkgo, Ephedra, generally contained higher proportions of proteins localized to intracellular spaces. These proteins represent the pollination drop degradome. Gymnosperms that either lack a pollen chamber, e.g. Taxus, or have a shallow pollen chamber, e.g. Gnetum, had greater proportions of extracellular proteins. These proteins represent the pollination drop secretome. Our proteomic analyses support the hypothesis that the pollination drops of all extant gymnosperms constitute complex reproductive secretions.
