ZusammenfassungZiel der Arbeit war, den hämodynamischen Effekt von apparativer intermittierender Kompression (AIK) bei Phlebödemen mittels des veno-arteriellen Flow-Index (VAFI) zu quantifizieren. Patienten, Methode: Bei 33 Patienten (C3-6, EP,S, AS,D,P, PO,R), die trotz Kompression Phlebödeme aufwiesen und 20 Venengesunden wurde vor (VAFI-0), 30 min (VAFI-1) und 2 h nach AIK (VAFI-2) der VAFI als Quotient aus venösem und arteriellem Stromzeitvolumen der Vena und Arteria femoralis communis berechnet. In der Patientengruppe erfolgte eine Woche nach 19 ambulant durchgeführten AIK (2-3 pro Woche) eine erneute Messung (VAFI-20). Ergebnisse: Bei den Patienten mit Plebödem war der mittlere VAFI-0 mit 1,49 ± 0,29 signifikant erhöht (p <0,001). Nach AIK zeigte sich eine signifikante Reduktion (p <0,001) auf 0,96 ± 0,25 (VAFI-1), die stabil blieb. VAFI-2 betrug 1,07 ± 0,15, VAFI-20 1,07 ± 0,18. Bei Venengesunden waren VAFI-0 0,87 ± 0,07, VAFI-1 0,84 ± 0,07 und VAFI-2 0,86 ± 0,07. Es zeigte sich keine signifikante Änderung (p = 0,40). Schlussfolgerung: Die zusätzlich zur Kompression durchgeführte AIK bewirkt bei Phlebödemen eine dauerhafte Verbesserung der venösen Hämodynamik, erkennbar an der signifikanten Reduktion des VAFI.

ZusammenfassungZiel der Arbeit war, den hämodynamischen Einfluss von ruhigem Gehen mit und ohne Kompression bei postthrombotischem Syndrom (PTS). Patienten und Methode: Bei 30 PTS-Patienten (C4-6, ES, ADSP, PRO) und 20 Gesunden wurde duplexsonographisch das Stromzeitvolumen der Vena und Arteria femoralis communis gemessen und aus dem Quotient der venoarterielle Flow-Index (VAFI-1) berechnet. Nach standardisierter Gehleistung (10 min; 2,0 km/h) wurde VAFI-2 gemessen. Anschließend wurde für 30 min ein Kompressionsverband angelegt und unter Kompression VAFI-3 bestimmt. Die Gehleistung wurde mit Kompression wiederholt und danach VAFI-4 gemessen. Ergebnisse: Bei PTS war der mittlere VAFI 1,56 ± 0,32. Nach 10-minütigem Gehen reduzierte sich VAFI-2 auf 1,27 ± 0,37 und nach 30-minütiger Kompression (VAFI-3) auf 1,12 ± 0,27. Nach Gehen mit Kompression reduzierte sich VAFI-4 weiter auf 1,05 ± 0,26. Alle Indexwerte nach Gehen und/oder Kompression unterschieden sich hoch signifikant von VAFI-1 (p <0,001), nicht jedoch untereinander. VAFI-4 bei PTS unterschied sich nicht von den Indexwerten der Kontrollgruppe (p = 0,09). VAFI war in der Kontrollgruppe 0,94 ± 0,18 und änderte sich nicht nach Gehen mit oder ohne Kompression. Schlussfolgerung: Gehen ohne Kompression sowie eine 30-minütige Kompression führen zu einer signifikanten Verbesserung der venöser Hämodynamik bei PTS. Die Kombination von Kompression und Gehen bewirkt eine Absenkung des VAFI auf ein nahezu gesundes Niveau.

Background: The ratio of volume flow in the common femoral vein and artery denoted as venous-arterial Flowindex (VAFI) is significantly increased in venous insufficiency according the clinical grade of the disease. This study was done to investigate the reliability and reproducibility of VAFI as quantitative pattern. Patients and methods: In 43 patients with varicose veins C4–6 EPAS,D,PPR (PVV), 40 with postthrombotic syndrome C4–6 ESAS,D,PPR,O (PTS) and 48 healthy volunteers volume flow in the common femoral vein (VFV) and artery (VFA) were measured by duplex. Division of VFV by VFA calculated VAFI. VAFI-measurement was repeated 5 times at an interval of ten minutes in 63 subjects (23 PVV, 20 PTS, 20 healthy) and it was performed at three different days in 68 subjects (20 PVV, 20 PTS, 28 healthy). Results: Mean VAFI ± standard deviation was 1.39 ± 0.26 in PVV, 1.42 ± 0.26 in PTS and 0.93 ± 0.13 in healthy veins (p < 0.001). VAFI remained stable and significantly increased (p < 0.001) in PVV and PTS compared to healthy veins during 40 minutes and also within three different days. Conclusion: The venous-arterial flowindex VAFI is a reproducible pattern of the hemodynamic severity in venous insufficiency.

Zusammenfassung Fragestellung: In der vorliegenden Arbeit wurde untersucht, ob der Korrelationsindex (VAFI) aus den Stromzeitvolumina der Vena und Arteria femoralis communis über 40 min Liegezeit stabil bleibt. Methode: 63 Patienten wurden in 3 Kollektive eingeteilt: 20 Venengesunde (Kollektiv 1), 23 Patienten mit primärer Stammvarikosis (Kollektiv 2) und 20 Patienten mit postthrombotischem Syndrom (PTS) (Kollektiv 3). Über einen Untersuchungszeitraum von 40 min wurde duplexsonographisch in 10-minütigen Abständen unter standardisierten Messbedingungen der VAFI bestimmt. Ergebnisse: Der VAFI blieb in allen drei Kollektiven über den gesamten Messzeitraum konstant. Der Mittelwert der venengesunden Patienten betrug 0,898, jener der Patienten mit Stammvarikosis 1,338 und der bei den Patienten mit PTS 1,402. Dabei unterschieden sich die Ergebnisse der Venengesunden von denen der beiden anderen Kollektive zu sämtlichen Untersuchungszeitpunkten signifikant (p < 0,005). Schlussfolgerung: Der Korrelationsindex (VAFI) bleibt über einen längeren Untersuchungszeitraum stabil und eignet sich zur quantitativen Erfassung von venösen Abflussstörungen bei Patienten mit venösen Erkrankungen.

Zusammenfassung Ziel: Quantifizierung des Effekts von Varizenoperationen auf die venöse Hämodynamik anhand des Quotienten der Stromzeitvolumina aus Vena und Arteria femoralis communis (VSV, ASV). Methode: 46 Patienten wurden in drei Kollektive eingeteilt. Von 22 Patienten mit kompletter Stammvarikosis der V. saphena magna erhielten 12 eine Krossektomie mit Stripping-Operation (Kollektiv 1) und 10 Patienten auf Wunsch eine Exhärese der Varikosis am Unterschenkel (Kollektiv 2). 24 Patienten mit inkompletter Stammvarikosis (Kollektiv 3) erhielten die selektive Exhärese ihrer Varizen. Bei allen Patienten wurde jeweils unter standardisierten Bedingungen VSV und ASV direkt präoperativ, 2 und 8 Wochen postoperativ duplexsonographisch gemessen und der Korrelationsindex (VAFI) als Quotient aus VSV und ASV berechnet. Verwendet wurde das Gerät Apogee 800 (Advanced Technologies Laboratories) mit 7,5-MHz- Linearschallkopf. Ergebnisse: Präoperativ war das mittlere VSV des Gesamtkollektivs 0,42 l/min, postoperativ nach 2 Wochen 0,30 l/min und 0,28 l/min nach 8 Wochen (p<0,001). ASV zeigte keine signifikante Änderung. Der VAFI des Gesamtkollektivs nahm signifikant von 1,19 auf 0,86 und 0,77 nach 8 Wochen ab (p<0,001). Die einzelnen Kollektive zeigten in der Höhe des VAFI deutliche Unterschiede. Kollektiv 1: 1,28 präoperativ, 0,83 und 0,73 postoperativ – Kollektiv 2: 1,34 präoperativ, 1,01 und 0,87 postoperativ, und Kollektiv 3: 1,02 präoperativ, 0,86 und 0,73 postoperativ. Schlussfolgerung: Varizenoperationen bewirken eine signifikante Abnahme von VSV und VAFI. Der bessere Parameter zur Quantifizierung des hämodynamischen Effekts ist der VAFI.

Abstract Deficit-accumulation Frailty indices (FIs) are a key tool in population-level translational geroscience approaches to understanding function, health, and aging. International applications of Fis have been enabled by the uptake of common data models (CDMs) but the validity of such applications is not guaranteed. We compared frailty prevalence using two validated electronic health record based FIs - the United States (US)-based Veterans Affairs FI (VAFI) and United Kingdom (UK)-based electronic FI (eFI) across 5 Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership CDM databases. Frailty was calculated by age for patient-records 40+ years old with 1+ years of data in the 1) US All of Us database (n=211,568), 2) US IQVIA Pharmetrics+ (n=5,292,854), 3) UK IMRD-THIN (n=3,080,557), 4) UK IMRD-EMIS (n=843,928), 5) UK BioBank (n=209,566). Code and results are available in an open-source R package and interactive website. The VAFI identified higher prevalence of frailty in US databases (All of US: VAFI 10.3% v eFI 2.5%, Pharmetrics+: 9.6% v 2%) while the eFI identified higher prevalence in UK databases (IMRD-THIN: < 0.003% v 0.08%, IMRD-EMIS: 0.09% v 0.4%, UK BioBank: 0.03% v 0.1%). eFI prevalence was lower than previously reported (2.2% v 15-20%, >65 years old; Clegg et al., 2016). FIs appear to be dependent on their development context, limiting external validity for international network studies. FIs must be vetted for consistency and validity when used across CDM sources if they are to contribute to the study of health and aging at scale. Future work will extend this comparison to additional international data sources.

Objectives: This study aimed to examine the gender markers of female language in two contemporary Arabic and Persian novels. The gender markers of women's language in these novels include: frequent usage of hedges, intensifiers, polite language, approximate adjectives, woman's vocabularies, detailed illustrations and color words. Methods: To accomplish this objective, the present article employs a descriptive-analytical methodology. Drawing on Lakoff's model, it examines the gender markers in the two novels, namely "Adore Me" by Sanaa Shalan (2013) and "My Bird" by Fariba Vafi (2002). Results: The study's findings reveal a notable prevalence of women-specific vocabulary in both novels. Additionally, women's language in these literary works is characterized by intricate and detailed descriptions, along with a profusion of tone color. Hedges, intensifiers, and approximate adjectives are more frequently employed by the female characters in both novels. Furthermore, the avoidance of profanity and the preference for indirect requests illustrate the women's inclination towards a polite linguistic demeanor in their interactions. Conclusions: This investigation underscores the existence of direct correlations between language and the speaker's gender in both Arabic and Persian, contributing to discernible linguistic differentiations between men and women. The outcomes of this research hold potential value for linguists seeking insights into the distinctions within the language patterns of men and women.

La quête de l'identité est une préoccupation récurrente au sein de la littérature contemporaine. A priori, l'identité relève de la complexité dans sa définition mais aussi dans ses différentes approches. Cela reviendrait à affirmer que sa quête serait autant de l'ordre de la difficulté. Cette difficulté, de nombreuses écrivaines la retranscrivent au sein de leurs œuvres. Ce qui amène ces dernières à traiter de ce sujet est parallèlement lié à la réalité de la vie intime et sociale des femmes. Ce travail se consacre donc à la représentation de la femme en quête de son identité à travers les œuvres d'Assia Djebar, écrivaine algérienne et de Fariba Vafi, écrivaine iranienne dont les portraits dressés des femmes rendent compte de leurs frustrations, leurs souffrances et leurs préoccupations au quotidien ; il s 'agit particulièrement du ressenti des femmes dans leur relation avec les premiers objets, l'objet paternel et l'objet maternel, puis dans une relation d'altérité dans la vie conjugale. L'objectif visé est d'examiner, dans une perspective comparative et à travers l'analyse psychologique du texte littéraire, comment les non-dits et le ressenti étouffé puis refoulé dans la relation à l'autre pourraient influencer la construction de l'identité féminine. L'analyse des textes de Djebar et Vafi, fondée sur les théories des psychanalystes jungiens, freudiens et lacaniens, permet d'illustrer la notion du complexe et révèle un lien de causalité entre l'histoire vécue dans la relation avec les premiers objets et celle que la femme vit dans la vie conjugale : un schéma qui se reproduit non seulement dans la relation avec l'autre dans la vie conjugale mais aussi dans le rapport avec l'enfant et dans l'expérience de la maternité de la femme ayant vécu le complexe paternel ou le complexe maternel. De ce fait, une interrogation majeure demeure : comment se libérer des complexes et des souffrances qui en découlent ? La libération des complexes chez les personnages féminins représentés par Djebar et Vafi se réalise d'une seule manière : la parole
The quest for identity is a recurring concern in contemporary literature. At first glance, identity appears complex, both in its definition and its various approaches. This suggests that the pursuit of identity is equally fraught with difficulty. Many feminine writers depict this difficulty in their works as they explore the subject in connection with the intimate and social realities of women’s lives. This study focuses on the representation of women in search of their identity through the works of Assia Djebar, an Algerian writer, and Fariba Vafi, an Iranian writer. Their portrayals of women reveal frustrations, sufferings, and daily concerns, particularly in relation to the earliest objects– the paternal and maternal figures– and in relationships of otherness within marriage. The aim is to examine, from a comparative perspective and through the psychological analysis of literary texts, how unspoken emotions and repressed feelings in relationships with others influence the construction of feminine identity. The analysis of Djebar's and Vafi's texts, grounded in Jungian, Freudian, and Lacanian psychoanalytic theories, clarifies the concept of the complex and reveals a causal link between early relational experiences with primary objects and a woman’s later experiences in marital life. This pattern not only recurs in relationships within marriage but also in interactions with children and in the experience of motherhood, particularly for women who have encountered paternal or maternal complexes. A crucial question thus arises: how can one free oneself from these complexes and the suffering they cause? Vai, Teatro…. É um Projeto que assenta no conceito de teatro pedagógico, com e para a escola. O teatro enquanto recurso didático, ferramenta de aprendizagem, que “Vai” ao encontro de um público-alvo e, em simultâneo, é dirigido a um centro de interesses. O teatro ao serviço da didática na sua dimensão instrumentalista, neste caso como veículo de conteúdos disciplinares e abordagem estética, pelo uso das práticas teatrais e da linguagem cénica. O Projeto consistiu na construção e apresentação de um espetáculo, em estreita colaboração com dois Agrupamentos de Escolas de Castelo Branco, separadamente, a partir da obra de Gil Vicente “O Pranto de Maria Parda” e de textos produzidos por alunos de duas turmas de 9º ano, das respetivas escolas. A conceção do espetáculo foi paralela à sua produção, num processo evolutivo de construção, enquanto método criativo. Em cada escola foi apresentado o espetáculo resultante dessa construção participada;. ABSTRACT: Vai, Teatro.... (Portuguese for Go, Theatre...) is a project based on the concept of pedagogical theatre, with and for the school. Theatre as a teaching resource, a learning tool that reaches a target audience and simultaneously driven towards a centre of interests. The theatre in support of didactics in its instrumentalist approach, in this case as a vehicle for subject contents and as an aesthetic approach, by the use of theatrical practices and scenic language. The Project consisted on the development and performance of a theatre play, in close collaboration with two Groups of Schools from Castelo Branco, independently. The starting point was the work of the Portuguese Gil Vicente “O Pranto de Maria Parda” (English for Maria Parda’s Tears) and several texts produced by students of two 9th grade classes of the referred schools. The conception and the production of the play were simultaneous, based on an evolving process as a creative method. The play was performed in each school, as a result of this collaborative approach.

Il sistema linfatico ricopre un ruolo di grande importanza all’interno del corpo umano, soprattutto per quanto riguarda la risposta immunitaria e il mantenimento dell’omeostasi corporea. L’elaborato si focalizza sull’analisi di un articolo di A. M. Venugopal e coll. del 2004 nel quale viene ricercata una relazione tra lunghezza delle unità strutturali dei vasi linfatici, i “linfangioni”, e il flusso della linfa che scorre in essi. In una prima parte dell’elaborato si trovano dei richiami ai principali elementi di fisiologia e anatomia della circolazione linfatica. Nel corpo centrale è descritto il modello matematico del sistema linfatico e i passi della successiva elaborazione al calcolatore. Infine, una volta ultimati i calcoli, si giunge alla conclusione che, per massimizzare il valore del flusso medio all’interno di un vaso linfatico, esiste una struttura ottima del vaso stesso, con una lunghezza del linfangione compresa fra i 3 cm e i 4 cm. Il modello proposto costituisce certamente una buona base di partenza per ulteriori studi volti ad approfondire la relazione fra struttura e funzione dei vasi linfatici e per avere, quindi, una maggiore conoscenza del sistema linfatico nella sua totalità.

Outcome of a pioneering experience in Brazil, the Creative Writing postgraduate program of Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS), this dis-sertation presents a two level composition: a fictional story, Mônica Vai Jantar, un-published and written during the master’s degree period, and a complementary reflexive essay, here serving as an afterword. Mônica Vai Jantar is a novelette, having stream of consciousness as literary basis, or, specifically, a narrated monologue, containing a sin-gle long sentence, in which I use only commas as punctuation mark, along with rare question marks. It tells the mind confusion of a character that, while preparing for a party, finds out her husband was masturbating inside a bus. The essay, in its own turn, never a step-by-step follow up, is a short narrative route of my influences, doubts, deci-sions, difficulties, authorial references, theoretical references, fictional and personal conversations that helped me through the writing of this work.
Resultado de uma experiência pioneira no Brasil, o programa de pós-graduação stricto sensu em Escrita Criativa da Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS), esta dissertação apresenta uma composição em dois níveis: uma história ficcional, Mônica Vai Jantar, inédita e escrita durante o período de mestrado, e um en-saio reflexivo complementar, servindo como posfácio. Mônica Vai Jantar é uma novela, tendo um fluxo de consciência como base literária, ou, mais especificamente, um monó-logo narrado, contendo uma longa única frase, na qual são utilizadas apenas vírgulas como sinal de pontuação, em conjunto com raros pontos de interrogação. O texto conta a confusão mental de uma personagem que, enquanto se prepara para uma festa, desco-bre que o marido estava se masturbando dentro de um ônibus. O ensaio reflexivo, por sua vez, jamais um passo a passo, é um breve percurso narrativo de minhas influências, dúvidas, decisões, dificuldades, referências autorais, referências teóricas, conversas fic-cionais e pessoais que me nortearam na redação da obra.

Resumo:

För att pröva vår teori om att ”vanligt” folk inte vet skillnaden mellan ordningsvakt och entrévärd använde vi oss av en enkät undersökning. Denna gjordes i en universitetsmiljö där det finns många vana krogbesökare. Resultatet av vår enkätundersökning styrker vår grundtes om att ”vanligt” folk inte har kunskap om regelsystemet gällande ordningsvakter och entrévärdar. I arbetet har vi gett en översiktlig bild av ordningsvaktens respektive entrévärdens rättigheter att agera i sina yrkesroller. För att undersöka problematiken runt kriminellt belastade entrévärdar valde vi att intervjua poliser som arbetar med problemen i krogvärlden, poliserna arbetade i Göteborg och Stockholm. I intervjuerna framkom att det är ett vanligt förekommande problem i Stockholm med kriminellt belastade entrévärdar. I Göteborg var detta inte ett stort problem då polisen har ställt krav på krogarna att de skall ha ett högt antal ordningsvakter i tjänst, detta har gjort att antalet entrévärdar minskat. Poliserna från Göteborg beskriver dock att det har förekommit problem med att kriminella nätverk försökt ta över entréverksamheten. Vi i gruppen tycker att dessa två uttalande är lite motstridiga. Mycket av problemen vid entrédörren bör kunna lösas genom att ordningsvaktens och entrévärdens arbetsuppgifter förtydligas. Vi tycker att det borde införas något slags kontrollsystem gällande entrévärdens lämplighet att utföra sitt jobb.

The aim of this Master's thesis is to carry out an economic analysis of the company VAFO PRAHA, s.r.o. in the period of 2007 - 2013. The thesis is divided into four sections - introduction, theoretical-methodological part, practical part, and conclusion. The introduction defines the goal and explained the reason for the choice of the topic. The theoretical and methodological part determines the methodology, which is applied in the practical part. During the analysis, I will use indicators like indicators of activity, and profitability. Financial health is assessed using creditworthy and bankruptcy models. The analyzed company is also compared with the industry results. In conclusion, I will summarize the results achieved and suggest recommendations.

Resumo: A atual configuração do mundo do trabalho tem relegado parcela considerável da população à informalidade e à dependência de programas assistenciais, cenário no qual comumente assistimos a associação quase que automática entre pobreza e violência nas periferias das grandes cidades. São atingidos de forma mais aguda os segmentos mais frágeis: com menor escolarização e, consequentemente, pouca qualificação ou especialização profissional. A Economia Solidária tem se apresentado como uma alternativa, não apenas de geração de renda, mas de reinserção de seus participantes no tecido social ao restabelecer redes de proteção e padrões de sociabilidade não violentos. O presente trabalho procurou analisar a experiência de um Clube de Troca na região metropolitana de Curitiba à luz do conceito de solidariedade trabalhado por Émile Durkheim e de dádiva de Marcel Mauss, associando-os ao conceito de sociabilidade não violenta desenvolvido por Luiz Antonio Machado da Silva e de proteção próxima desenvolvido por Robert Castel. A metodologia utilizada combinou entrevistas em profundidade, grupo focal e observação participante, segundo a perspectiva qualitativa hermenêutica. A hipótese central era de que a prática e os princípios propagados pela experiência dos Clubes de Troca ultrapassariam os limites físico-temporais do Clube irradiando-se para relações familiares e comunitárias de modo a produzir redes de proteção ligadas à sociabilidade não violenta. Em outras palavras, em que medida os valores e princípios que são fundamentos da Economia Solidária se refletiam concretamente no cotidiano dos participantes. Após a análise do campo à luz dos conceitos teóricos foi possível verificar mudanças comportamentais individuais e coletivas intra e extra grupo orientadas pela solidariedade em detrimento do individualismo negativo e de vantagens individuais.

Tiivistelmä. Tutkielman tarkoituksena oli selvittää, miten päivähoidon henkilöstö tiedostaa vanhempien kanssa tehtävän yhteistyön merkityksen ja millaisin edellytyksin sen näkökulmasta kasvatuskumppanuutta voidaan toteuttaa. Lisäksi haluttiin kartoittaa heidän tämän hetkistä tietämystään kasvatuskumppanuudesta. Tutkimusaineisto kerättiin päiväkodeissa työskenteleviltä lastentarhanopettajilta ja lastenhoitajilta eri puolilta Kainuuta. Teoriaosuudessa tarkasteltiin vanhempien kanssa tehtävän yhteistyön ja päivähoidon muotoutumista eri vuosikymmenillä sekä kasvatuskumppanuutta koskevaa teoriaa, ajankohtaista kirjallisuutta ja tutkimuksia. Aineistonkeruumenetelmänä käytettiin varhaiskasvattajien narratiivisia kirjoitelmia, joissa he palauttivat mieleen kokemuksia toteutuneista yhteistyötilanteista vanhempien kanssa. Lisäksi he vastasivat avoimiin kysymyksiin, jotka käsittelivät kasvatuskumppanuuden toteuttamisen reunaehtoja työyhteisön ilmapiirin, johtamisen, varhaiskasvatussuunnitelmien toimivuuden, hallinnon ja täydennyskoulutustarpeen näkökulmista. Tutkimus on luonteeltaan laadullinen, ja aineiston analysoinnissa käytettiin fenomenologista, aineistolähtöistä sisällönanalyysiä. Tutkimustulokset olivat suurelta osin yhteneväiset kasvatuskumppanuustutkimuksista saatujen tulosten kanssa. Kasvatuskumppanuuden toteutumisen ehdoiksi määrittyivät luottamus, avoimuus, kunnioitus ja tasavertaisuus. Nämä edellyttävät kohtaamisia arjessa, vuorovaikutustaitoja, tiedon siirtoa osapuolten välillä, resursseja sekä työyhteisön hyvää ilmapiiriä ja johtajuutta. Tutkimuksesta kävi kuitenkin ilmi, että kasvatuskeskusteluissa vanhempien kanssa edelleen korostuu työntekijöiden asiantuntijuus ja käsiteltävien asioiden ongelmapainotteisuus. Lapsen varhaiskasvatussuunnitelmalomaketta haluttiin kehittää ja saada sen käyttöön opastusta. Koulutusta toivottiin myös vuorovaikutustaitoihin sekä eri kulttuureiden tuntemukseen. Tulokset eivät ole sellaisenaan yleistettävissä koskemaan kaikkia varhaiskasvattajia, vaan ne kuvaavat tutkimukseen osallistuneiden kokemuksia. Tulosten pohjalta voidaan kuitenkin luoda kuva kasvatuskumppanuus tietämyksestä ja toteutumisen edellytyksistä arjessa. Tutkimus tarjoaa varhaiskasvattajille ja työyhteisöille aineksia pohtia ja kehittää keskinäistä kasvatustietoisuutta sekä vanhempien kanssa tehtävää kasvatuskumppanuutta ja sen vaatimia edellytyksiä.

Outcome of a pioneering experience in Brazil, the Creative Writing postgraduate program of Pontif?cia Universidade Cat?lica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS), this dis-sertation presents a two level composition: a fictional story, M?nica Vai Jantar, un-published and written during the master?s degree period, and a complementary reflexive essay, here serving as an afterword. M?nica Vai Jantar is a novelette, having stream of consciousness as literary basis, or, specifically, a narrated monologue, containing a sin-gle long sentence, in which I use only commas as punctuation mark, along with rare question marks. It tells the mind confusion of a character that, while preparing for a party, finds out her husband was masturbating inside a bus. The essay, in its own turn, never a step-by-step follow up, is a short narrative route of my influences, doubts, deci-sions, difficulties, authorial references, theoretical references, fictional and personal conversations that helped me through the writing of this work.

Tämä kandidaatintutkielma käsittelee tulevaisuudentutkimusta. Pääpaino on tulevaisuudentutkimuksen määrittelemisessä kirjallisuuskatsauksen avulla. Tulevaisuudentutkimusta käsitellään erityisesti sen kysymyksen kautta, onko tulevaisuudentutkimus tiedettä vai taidetta. Tutkielmassa käydään läpi tulevaisuudentutkimuksen peruskäsitteitä ja tulevaisuudentutkimuksen eri suuntauksia. Roy Amaran (1925–2007) tulevaisuudentutkimuksen peruslähtökohdat nousevat käsiteltäväksi moneen otteeseen. Kysymykseen ”onko tulevaisuudentutkimus tiedettä vai taidetta?” vastaaminen johtaa siihen, että tulevaisuudentutkimusta vertaillaan eri tieteenaloihin ja taiteisiin. Aihepiirin tarkastelu johtaa myös tulevaisuudentutkimuksen epistemologisten kysymysten äärelle. Käsittelyssä on erityisesti se, mitä tulevaisuustieto on, ja miten se eroaa muista tietämisen tavoista. Tutkielmassa pohditaan myös sitä, mitä asioita kuuluu tulevaisuudentutkimuksen ontologiaan. Lopuksi nostetaan esille joitakin tulevaisuudentutkimuksen ongelmia. Tutkielma ei johda suoraan määritelmään siitä, mitä tulevaisuudentutkimus on. Sen sijaan tutkielmassa lähestytään tulevaisuudentutkimusta eri näkökulmista ja nostetaan esille sen tieteellisiä ja taiteellisia ominaisuuksia. Tutkielmassa ehdotetaan lopuksi, että tulevaisuudentutkimus voisi tuoda uusia näkökulmia kasvatustieteisiin.

Current Rotorcraft Developments like under the Future Vertical Lift Program in the USA (e.g. Bell V-280, see figure 1) respectively RACER (Airbus Helicopters, see figure 2) and NextGENCivil Tiltrotor (Leonardo, see figure 3) in Europe deal with High-Speed Rotorcraft or Tiltrotor-/Tiltwing Aircraft. They can expand and optimize their performance by using a variable rotor speed either to adopt the rotor speed to high forward speed or to meet the different requirements of a rotor in Hover and Aircraft Mode of a Tiltrotor-/Tiltwing Aircraft. As the required speed range can not be covered by the turbine, TU Munich (Germany), TU Wien (Vienna, Austria), ADT - Advanced Drivetrain Technologies (Austria) and Zoerkler Gears (Austria) work in the transnational project "VARI-SPEED II" on a rotor system that can change the rotor speed via change of the ratio of the transmission (variable rotor speed with constant turbine speed). The project is based on the results of "VARI-SPEED" and the direct follow-up project. VARI-SPEED showed that a rotor speed variation performed by a transmission system is possible. The efficiency and the flight envelope of the rotorcraft can be improved by this technology. Furthermore, a method for rotor blade design in a RPM range was invented. VARI-SPEED II now has built up a model of the complete dynamic system from engine to rotor of a helicopter with a variable speed rotor. This model is used for dynamic simulations of the components and the whole system. A scaled model of the module that changes the speed will be developed and pilot studies in a simulator are planned to find out the characteristics of such a system. Aim of the project is to reach TRL 3 as basis for further development of the technology with interested OEM's. This paper deals with the dynamic behaviour of the components and the whole drive train. The Bell V-280 is in the flight testing phase, RACER has recently conducted its maiden sortie and for the NextGENCtr the first flight is announced for the first half of 2024. All mentioned aircraft use transmission systems with a fixed gearbox ratio; this is feasible as a new technology like Vari-Speed normally is not added to completely new rotorcraft. However as the OEM's rate Vari-Speed positive, variable rotor speed can be integrated in a later development stage of the rotorcraft and thus development timelines of the rotorcrafts and Vari-Speed match quite well.

Resumo:

A kind of Hilly Power Chassis with Vari-ground Clearance and Vari-wheel Track Mechanism (VII-HPC) is designed to be adapted to various types of crops grown ridge section and height. It consists of the middle part, balancing system, two driving axles and steering system. These assemblies form an H-type chassis structure where both sides of the driving axle and the middle part are connected for power transmission, ground clearance varying and wheel track adjustable function, which ensures full-time four-wheel drive in a complex road environment and confirms that the middle part is always in the angle bisector of the two driving axles. According to the various agricultural ground clearance and line spacing of different crops in the hilly areas, the ground clearance and the wheel track can be adjusted continuously and smoothly driven by hydraulic system. According to VII-HPC Structural Characteristic without Ackerman Steering Linkage, the hydraulic four wheel steering scheme has been proposed. The related analysis is presented to verify the feasibility of VII-HPC, including the relationship between the ground clearance and parameters like centroid height, and the ride analysis at different speeds on the pulse road. The results and the subsequent experimental results show the design method and the concept of VII-HPC are proved reasonable, feasible and practical.

O fato de o Brasil assumir a presidência do G20 este ano desperta curiosidade em relação a exatamente o que é e o que faz o G20. Uma das particularidades criticadas do G20 é o baixo grau de transparência. As informações são mais acessíveis no país que detém a presidência. As atividades nos outros anos passam a ser de conhecimento por parte de um círculo restrito. Esta Nota pretende contribuir para ampliar o conhecimento do que é o G20, como e por que foi criado, como evoluiu ao longo do tempo, como está estruturado e de que modo opera, bem como quais são os principais debates em relação ao papel desempenhado pelo G20 no contexto internacional.

Review question / Objective: The objective of the study was to compare the mean difference and AUROC of Visceral Adiposity Index (VAI) in NAFLD/NASH/liver fibrosis patients and controls in observational studies. Condition being studied: Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is a multi-system disease, being mainly a liver pathology involving excessive hepatic fat accumulation unrelated to alcohol consumption or other secondary causes of hepatic steatosis. It is an emerging cause of concern and increasing clinical burden, imposing a public health challenge. NAFLD is the most common chronic liver disease and is predicted to be the most common indication for a liver transplant in Western countries by 2030, owing to a prevalence of 25% worldwide. The visceral adiposity index (VAI) is a scoring system based on body mass index, triglycerides, high-density lipoproteins (HDLs), and waist circumferences (WCs).

Resumo:

The influence of the thermal injection mold design crucially affects the geometric precision of injection molded parts. However, the adjustability of the heat flux distribution established with the conventionally used cooling channels is limited and cannot cover the vari able cooling demand. The proposed approach of using heating coatings on the cavity surface to manipulate the part’s cooling rate shows that it may be advantageous, due to the close and localized application to the part. A simulative optimization routine determines the necessary position and surface power of the heating coating. The objective of this methodology is to homogenize the surface temperature, inner cooling rate, and freeze time inside the part. This work applies the simulative design method for the optimized placement and heating power on a mold for a three-dimensional part. As the temperature field of the heating coating depends on the contacting, the electro-thermal simulation is analyzed and confirmed as sufficient to establish the optimal heat flux distribution. A process simulation study shows the dimension with the most critical warpage is decreased by 90%.

Este Fronteiras ... baseia-se no conceito de WASH Transformativo ao explorar e delinear o que pode ser exigido aos intervenientes na implementação de WASH nos esforços para apoiar os resultados do desenvolvimento infantil. Este número de Fronteiras... explora as múltiplas formas como o saneamento inadequado, a higiene e a limpeza ambiental podem afectar o desenvolvimento físico e cognitivo das crianças. Explora áreas para além da higiene das mãos, ao considerar a higiene alimentar e a limpeza ambiental mais alargada e vai além das fezes humanas, ao ter em conta as fezes animais. É então discutido o que isto implica na prática, por forma a delinear o aperfeiçoamento das práticas actuais do sector de WASH, visando a obtenção de melhores resultados no desenvolvimento infantil e, em particular, de melhores oportunidades de as crianças sobreviverem e se desenvolverem.

Šobrīd diaspora ir tik daudzveidīga kā nekad agrāk – dažādas paaudzes, atšķirīgi izceļošanas iemesli, atšķirīga latviešu valodas prasme, daudzās mītnes zemēs latviešu dzīvesvietas un pulcēšanās vietas šķir lieli attālumi, pieaugošā dzīves dārdzība pasaulē ierobežo līdzekļus, ko var veltīt “latviešu lietām”. Kā diasporas organizācijas darbojas šajos apstākļos? Ar kādiem izaicinājumiem katrā pasaules reģionā un savās mītnes zemēs tās saskaras? Detalizēta un aktuāla informācija par diasporas organizācijām būtu lietderīga, izstrādājot datos balstītu plānu darbam ar diasporu, pamatojot nepieciešamo līdzekļu apmēru, plānojot vizītes pie diasporas, pasākumus ar vēstniecību, Latvijas Investīciju un attīstības aģentūras, citu Latvijas valsts iestāžu vai pašvaldības pārstāvju līdzdalību, kā arī plānojot atbalsta pasākumus un grantu konkursus diasporai. Lai apzinātu diasporas organizācijas un neformālās domubiedru grupas, gūtu dziļāku ieskatu to ikdienas darbībā un noskaidrotu, kādi ir to resursi un vajadzības, ar kādām grūtībām tās saskaras, un izprastu, kādas ir to nākotnes iespējas, LU Diasporas un migrācijas pētījumu centrs veica apjomīgu pētījumu. Pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt diasporas organizāciju daudzveidību, tām pieejamos resursus, organizāciju kapacitāti un aktuālās vajadzības.
