Texto completo da fonteThe exciton plays a central role in the functioning of organic solar cells (OSCs). Understanding its dynamics in organic semiconductors is essential, particularly to optimize the diffusion length, a key property for the performance of planar heterojunctions, which are considered as a potentially more stable alternative to bulk heterojunctions (BHJ) in certain contexts. In the first part of this thesis, we developed a robust and versatile methodological approach to evaluate the exciton diffusion length in organic semiconductors. This method, based on AIMD-ROKS, was successfully validated for the P3HT polymer. It was also applied to the NFA O-IDTBR acceptor, revealing promising diffusion lengths, though still insufficient for planar heterojunctions. The second part of the thesis explores heat transfer in organic semiconductors, a crucial element for the performance of thermoelectric devices. These studies focused on P3HT, a material used in thermoelectricity. First, the thermal conductivity within P3HT chains was studied, revealing the influence of polymer chain length. Then, heat transfers between these chains were also examined

Texto completo da fonteThis work takes into consideration the relationship, as in a phenomenological perspective, between the notions of time and life, and their transcendental implications. To this aim, here is presented a research coping with the study, thematic more than historiographic, and with the development of those issues that, even if not always tackled as such by Husserl himself, deal with the deeper core of Husserlian oeuvre. This dissertation reconsiders the status of the transcendental after the articulation between life and time, that is to say, between life and death, interpreting in this light the whole evolution of Western philosophy, significantly unwound under the sign of Socrates’ death.Husserl gives the impression to swing back and forth between the necessity of distinguishing life, as transcendental determination, and temporality, inasmuch as related to the dimension of the constituted, and their assimilation, insofar as he acknowledges to a certain type of temporality a constituent and absolute originarity. In other words, the attempt to define life meets the same ambiguity already emerged at the time of the Zeitvorlesungen about the absolute conscience: as the threshold between constituent and constituted temporality grows thinner and more permeable, that between life and temporality softens in what Husserl calls Vor-Zeitigung and that «we have no names [for]». Two issues are here at stake: on one hand, the possibility to think life without reducing it to a physical or biological determination, shying away from any naturalism (which does not entail its complete disrepute); on the other, the chance to consider life without connecting it to a psychologistic understanding, as the link with temporality would imply, though preserving, instead, the priority of sense
Manier, Dorian. "L’œuvre, le temps, la vie dans les écrits de Gaëtan Picon". Thesis, Sorbonne université, 2019. http://www.theses.fr/2019SORUL119.
Texto completo da fonteWhen Gaetan Picon wrote in 1970 « Every piece of art is simultaneously a picture, a depiction, and the presence of an existence » in Admirable tremblement du temps, he offered a convincing definition of the nature of a work of art. Critic of art and literature, philosopher, teacher, Director-General of Arts and Letters, and above all an independent thinker, he devoted his life to Art and Literature. Through his articles, essays and novels, his personal experience of writing and artwork, and his writings on art that were infused with his own particular sensibility, he created a new experience out of the beloved artwork, seeking to understand and explain it through personal identification. He considered that each artwork asks the observer to question its form and meaning, and the effect achieved. A work of art requires to be written about, and is a challenge to life, existence and culture in the way it is received and interpreted, in what we make of it. And in return the observer also seeks life, existence and culture. In what way is art related to conscience, to the language that we use, and to the world as we perceive it ? In what way are conscience, history and existence products of art ? In short, how can it exist for us and yet outside of us at the same time ? The questions that Gaetan Picon studied impose necessarily an exploration using multiples perspectives. We must examine at the same time language, performance, the world and creation from attentive reading of his writings. In all of them Gaetan Picon carefully brought new ideas to the experience of art. This present doctoral thesis will offer an interpretation and an acknowledgment of this experience

Texto completo da fonteThe development of television and radio on demand addresses the issue of the sustainable use of programs offered in linear mode. Those classic programs can be regarded as restricting in a time marked by the massive individualization of the way of experiencing daily time and space. Yet, people use more and more those classic media. Time for television or radio is constantly increasing. The case of working mothers seems to be an apparent paradox: they can dedicate a growing part of their daily time to the medias, while it’s more and more difficult for them to succeed in daily organization. They already must manage multiple times: working, family, social time. . . Then, the question is: when, how and why do they include media time in this full schedule? Is the schedule of traditional linear media in line with their way of life? The assumption is that they use media, among other reasons, to maintain a form of time stability in everyday life. To validate this hypothesis, the connections between the different times of daily life must be defined, focusing on media time. We chose to organize the investigation in two ways. Fisrt, we analyzed the offer of television and radio (technology developments and evolution of schedules) in order to understand the temporality created by media themselves. Then, we looked into the reasons why working women use media. First of all, it seems that media time is a copy of social time: the schedules have been created in order to be in adequacy with public time. But, retrospectively, the users, and mainly women, use them to maintain the stability of their time, in a context marked by intense time changes

Texto completo da fonteThis thesis deals with the question of social time as a strategic issue for the metropolitan revolutionary communities in France from the study of three of them located in Caen, Rennes and Nantes. This work seeks to show the historical processes of the institution of social time and attempts to destitute it. It begins by an epistemological and methodological return on the constitution of sociology through a discussion between Durkheim and Marx. We defend the hypothesis according to which the discipline is constituted more like a science of the established order aiming at the stabilization of the institutions. Then, with other authors, we try to clear the ways of a sociology of the destitution which undertakes a politics of intervention. Therefore, we begin at first (part 2) to investigate in a classical critical sociology’s way based on a sociohistorical approach of domination – in this case a history of the institution of social time through a study of work, of everyday life and power relations. In parts 3 and 4 we propose a socioanthropology of communist forms-of-life leading at the same time a fight against the instituted social time (revolutionary countertimes, negative dimension) and affirming a relation to the time starting from the activities (revolutionary counter-time, positive dimension). The aim of this thesis is to show how a post-capitalist horizon experiences itself here and now, the way in which it takes over or not the question of the domination of the instituted social time, the way, also, which it is repressed

Texto completo da fonteThis thesis offers a rebuilding of the standard of living concept, as a measure of material welfare, on the basis of functionings and freedom of choice. This rebuilding focuses on the goal leading to the standard of living indicators estimation authorizing interpersonal comparisons without disregarding too r1dically individual characteristics. On the basis of this definition, the calculus of an equivalent scale is undertaken, but unlike traditional scales, this calculus would transform the cost of a child in a variable depending on the family resources. Then we will try to integrate to the families standard of living wealth stock. This essay leads ot the estimation of new characteristics of dispersion of the french population standard of living distribution. Leasure time is the last varaible taken into account in the measure of material welfare ; ruling out the traditional measure of "full-income", an alternative is looked at considering that the set choice of a family (on the space "monetary resources-leasure time") defines more precisely its standard of living. After all, an estimation of total wealth distribution is offered in the last chapter

Texto completo da fonteAs a whole, the rhythms of social life are characterized by a partitioning whose effects can be felt on a daily, weekly and early scale. This partitioning is a result of an excessive functionalism of the systems (or synchronizers) that determine them, primarily that which are issued from the domains of work and school. The impact of the resulting distortions affects the conditions of life of the individuals, but also certain important natural or economic equilibriums. A reduction of these dysfunctions can be obtained through a more territorial management and a greater control by the people of their own life rhythms

Texto completo da fonteFrom 1951 to 1981, this show was held at the Musée national d'art moderne, at the palais Galliera, and finaly at the Musée Luxembourg. The "peintres témoins de leur temps" association was created in 1948. With the support from official personalities such as jean cassou and raymond cogniat, Isis Kischka, the founder of this show, was able to obtain the necessary means for the show to schieve a large public success it was for many years the most visited show in Paris. Distiguished artists such as Braque, Chagall, Foujita, Gromaire, Leger, Lhote, Masson, Matisse, Picasso, Rouault, Utrillo, Van Dongen, Jacques Villon, gave it their enthousiastic support. It success and singularity lie in its member's strong determination to reaffirm the links between art and life, to recstablish the social fonction of artists and rehabilitate commissioned works. As carly as 1948, visits of factories, building sites and workshops were organised. They were at the origin of the first exhibition with "work", "on sunday", "man in the city", "happiness",. . . This phd thesis studies the first two decades of the history of the show through two main sources : - "press book" by "les peintres témoins" from 1948 to 1968 which marks the end of malraux's office, with in the cultural social and political context of the post- war periode. Elements of this research come from Isis Kischka's archives. - From 1993 to 1997, interviews with 18 personalities involved in the singular venture : painters, scultors, art critics, art dealers. . . This thesis also analyses methodically the structure of the show : artits's invitations to exhibit, the subjects of the exhibitions, the display and selling of works of art, public relations in such events as previews and catalogue-signing sessions, the various prizes awarded at the show, the fund raising and the elaboration of catalogues and original posters, writer's involvment, and the singular and constitutive part played by advertissements. This research highlights the relationship that the showallowed between the artists and the critics, the artisits and the public, but also among the artists themselves
Guillot, Caroline. "Constitution et transformation du rapport au temps des individus : l'analyse des dimensions réflexives de la conduite de vie". Thesis, Paris Est, 2010. http://www.theses.fr/2010PEST1104.
Texto completo da fonteThis thesis focuses on workers' relationships with time. It is concerned with the ways they construct and transform it, and proposes a comprehensive approach to the reflexive dimension of their “life conduct”. In our view, societal changes in temporalities (related to women's entry into the labor market, the diffusion of ICT, etc.) tend to create new constraints on individuals' activity programs. These changes create new challenges for personal time management, but also for the individual herself, specifically her reflexivity. Indeed, individuals do not passively accept the complexity of their schedules, but rather seek to control it. Achieving this requires constant "effort", but the strength of this effort is not necessarily constant over time. Based on a survey involving semi-structured interviews conducted between 2006 and 2008, we built a typology of different relationships with time, i.e. general temporal attitudes that individuals create and adopt to articulate the different spheres of social life and cope with the different situations they encounter in their daily lives. We demonstrate that not all individuals face complexity in the same way, and that they are not all equally reflexive in their daily lives. Using four ideal-types, we observe the private and professional constraints they are facing and the tools they use, both technical (paper or electronic agendas) and social (people and institutions). Finally, the observation of two exceptional situations (unexpected events in everyday life and changes of residence) reveals how people are changing their relationships with time
Zhang, Yinde. "L'espace dans une vie de maupassant". Paris 3, 1986. http://www.theses.fr/1986PA030035.
Texto completo da fonteThis semiotico-narratological study originates from the quest for the complex mechanism which conditions maupassant's first novel, and is focussed on the problems of space. Considered not as an accessory element but as one which is manifestly omnipresent and integrated into the global system of the work, space in the novel is looked at on tow levels : the enunciated and the enunciation. Closely linked to others composents of the narrative and loaded with both probablizing and symbolic value, space provides a field of study which, at the least, gives access to certain secrets concerning the fictional creation of une vie, if it does not allow a fulles reading of the work. The first task assigned to space is to create an illusion of reality, which manifests itself as identifiability and probabylity. But while maintaining a relationship with the external referent, space above all fulfils textual functions, converged firstly by the role it plays in the narrative structure, then by its union with the representation of characters, and finally by the fact that its implementation gives the narration a specificity. As the novel has a dual weight, both narrative and ideological, the structures of space in the novel, reexamined on the level of their symbolic values and related to some of the writer's shoter fiction, reveal the author's fundamentally pessimistic vision of the natural and social world

Texto completo da fonteThis thesis work manages to re-evaluate the place of Musset in the romantic galaxy, under the angle of a rehistoricisation of his writing. Considered as the “lazy cadet” of romanticism, either as an anachronistic writer (nostalgic of classicism or period of licentiousness), Musset suffers critical misunderstandings which do not seem to come together in true unity of vision. It is proposed notably to revise ambiguous image of “the child of the century”, moving one, perhaps more relevant: “the tightrope Walker of the century”. Under a methodological approach which crosses cultural history, auctorial scenography, study of the sources and poetics, this work tries to place again Musset at the center of the cultural life of his time: his work is approached as one of a potential historian, a dreamed musician, a fallen painter, a critic of accomplished art, an ironic moralist, a writer who keeps on staging in his work as well as in its reading, by a series of positions and offsets. The study of acrobatic Musset writing leads to the conclusion of a flexible, plastic and synthetic work, feeding readily on bias paradoxical that multiply the postures and the counter-postures, the rallies and the kicks, harmonies and setbacks. In short, the work of Musset (and all the romantic era, in a certain way) may find a state of provisional definition, through the notion of coincidentia oppositorum (M. Löwy and R. Sayre) and the principle of mobility (Jean-Pierre Richard), condensed in the image of the tightrope walker

Texto completo da fonteDuring the second half of the nineteenth century, a paternalistic textile industry, Saint Frères, settled in the Nièvre valley in the French department of the Somme, by planting many factories and employers' institutions. These establishments offered a "lifetime employment" to thousand of inhabitants, thus defining their daily lives. With the crisis of 1929 and the Second World War, the compagny turn to part-time work and redudancies. This crisis disrupt their life course, which they had previously considered irreversible. These ill-assorted experiences of unemployment and the war, there are differentiated ways of living a labor condition, that worsen class unity. Rifts make it harder to struggle. Even if reconciling conflicting interests and prioritization of tasks sush as we know them today, weren't top of the agenda then, this research points at what was to come. Time was and still remains a question of power

Texto completo da fonteConsequences of dementia are impacting not only patients, but also their family and even society; it has thus been highlighted as an important public health priority. Understanding temporal trends of this disease thus became a major research topic, critical for the future. This thesis aimed at investigating secular trends of dementia incidence as well as some of its components and consequences, trying tounderstand their determinants. In the first part of this work, we have brought further evidence toward a decreasing trend of dementia incidence, only found for women between the 90’s and the 2000’s in our study. Then, we have reported a global improvement of cognitive performance for younger elderly generations, potentially due to improvement early in life rather than to a slower decline across aging. Finally, we have evidenced a decrease in mortality without dementia and for demented women, as well as an increase of healthy life expectancy and survival with dementia. These results are in line with an improvement of health of older people during the last two decades, which is promising for the future.Further research to better understand these secular trends are yet needed ; it will help precise prevention strategies needed to reduce or delay dementia

Texto completo da fonteThis thesis proposes an approach of the relation between audio-visual media (radio and television) and time, by being located on the users side. It breaks thus with the analysis of the structuring of the time, by stressing the dimension of occupation. It provides a very detailed analysis of the media temporalities lived by the actual elderly through their media representations and their practices. It aims especially to better understand and to explain the changes and the dynamics in the everyday lives of these temporalites. On the basis of the users words, several concepts are developed (the occupation, the unexpected, the implication). In order to achieve the thesis aims, it was necessary to take into account the political, economic and social experiments lived by the actual elderly, then to analyse the evolutions of the socio-temporal frame and of the use frame at this stage of the life-cycle. Between retirement and old age, these individuals live specific temporalities. This main evolution of the time relationship and to a lesser extent the evolution of the media relationship explain the evolutions of media temporalities. The media practices are recipient of these evolutions while taking part in the creation of new time relationship during retirement. They contribute to the continuation of identity creation. They reinforce the anchoring of the elderly in the present and perpetuate the importance of the relational dimension of any occupation for these individuals. Day by day, the dynamics of the media practices are expressed mainly on the level of intra-individual variations. The concept of implication then makes it possible to better understand the variations observed

Texto completo da fonteThe Forqueray’s bass viol works is almost limited to the only Pieces of the first Book (1747), which was a posthumous publication realized by Jean-Baptiste Forqueray. This edition contains thirty-two pieces divided into five suites attributed to Antoine, his father. In fact, Jean-Baptiste recognizes to be the composer of three pieces amongst the whole book, and the bass of all these ones. Dedicated to Henriette de France, this book reveals by its titles some of characters mixed with the two violists, and notably famous musicians like Rameau, Couperin and Leclair. In the opposite, composers insert a pièce titled La Forqueray in their publication. So, this thesis concerns Antoine and Jean-Baptistes life and musical activity considered within their circle of Family and Friends : instrumentalists, composers, patron of the arts such as the Prince de Conti and the Prince de Carignan, protector of the musicians familiar to Forqueray Father and son, the student viol players including the Regent and the Prince de Prusse. This research includes a period a little before the birth of Antoine (September 1672) until the death of his son Jean-Baptiste (1782). The context corresponds to the French School of Bass Viol under Louis XIV and Louis XV

Texto completo da fonteLittle is known about the psychological determinants of quality of life in brain metastases patients treated with neurosurgical techniques, in particular the contribution of cognitive and emotional functioning. Authors encourage the consideration of temporality in order to better understand the concept of quality of life. Zimbardo and his collaborators developed a psychological time theory that links quality of life and depression, called the "time perspective". The thesis aims to confirm the predictive role of cognitive functioning in the quality of life of patients treated surgically for metastatic cerebral tumors and to better understand the relationships between time perspective, depression and quality of life. A first study compared the sociocognitive profile in inter-subjects (patients versus controls) and in intra-subjects (before neurosurgical treatment versus after), and explored determinants of quality of life (ie, cognitive functioning, depressive symptomatology and time perspective). The main results are that patients have a global cognitive dysfunction that negatively impairs their functional autonomy and that a depressive symptomatology, even minimal, is an important predictor of their overall quality of life. Patients are more oriented towards the "present-fatalistic " than the controls, and the "past" dimensions of their time perspective are related to their quality of life, notably through their influence on the emotional state. A second study examined the relationship between the "past-negative" dimension of the time perspective in particular, depression and quality of life in a group of patients. The results suggest that the depressive symptomatology of patients mediate the effects of the "past negative" dimension on their quality of life. A third study explored, through a case study, the dynamics of the time perspective profile, depressive symptomatology, "uncertainty towards the future" and quality of life during medical follow-up. The main result of this study is that the dynamics of the two "present" dimensions evolve jointly with the future uncertainty. The thesis encourages the implementation of interventional studies to evaluate the effectiveness of psychological interventions centered on the time perspective in brain metastases patients

Texto completo da fonteThe writings of Lou Andreas-Salomé (1861-1937) form a meeting point of different cultures (European, Slavic, oriental). Reaching far beyond women's history exclusively, they belong to the history of philosophy and to the world of psychoanalysis. As a charismatic figure, Lou Andreas-Salomé is the woman of the fin de siècle. She is a critic, an essayist, a diarist, a biographer, a letter writer and a novelist. She is also one of the first women intellectuals to have brought together many disciplines: literature (Nietzschean thought and Lebensphilosophie, Rilke's poems, naturalist theatre), art (painting and sculpture) and religion (histories and differences) go hand in hand with science (psychology, biology, entomology, zoology, psychoanalysis). Lou Andreas-Salomé made the human being the centre of a study whose psychological and religious paradigms, between 1885 and 1911, were a fundamental preparation for her clinical analysis of the psyche: the human being looks for its first nature - forgotten under the influence of the individualist values of modernity - while faith in God, the redeeming power of Eros and artistic creation return him to the comfort of the original whole. After 1912, Lou Andreas-Salomé's anthropological thought went far beyond the context of Tiefenpsychologie: as an analyst, the woman of letters contributed subtly to the understanding of the unconscious and the sexual identity of woman, the symbol of humanity. The unifying theme of return to the deep self is part of a tribute to life: it is the basis of her literary and psychoanalytical works that become the dual path to the appreciation of humankind

Texto completo da fonteThe doctrine of Nicolas Grimaldi is a philosophy of life. First a biological concept, life forces upon us a reflection on finality which paves the way to a reinterpretation of the relationship between mind and matter – and so, against the tide of a period that claims to have challenged it. It is the effectiveness of time which confers a metaphysical dimension to the concept of life that leads to a paradoxical ontology of time, and that allows to analyze the very idea of life according to its third meaning, the spiritual one, whose cornerstone is the question of sense

Texto completo da fonteConsidering that man, as a living creature, has to create his own environment, we ask here about the kind of relations are presupposed between the (semiotical) link man has with his environment and the (symbolical) link existing among men themselves. More specifically, we try to determine how technoscience is shaping the adaquate context to perpetuate capitalists social relationships, in particular concerning temporal dimension. As claimed by the Critical Theory, progress of rationality paradoxically accomplish itself in the pure mystified domination of social relationships. However, for us, this is less the consequence of the historical development of abstraction than a socio-historical manner to objectify a certain link to time. Hence, under this consideration, we are here analysing the real effect of abstraction, that is, the fetishistics and mutilating effets of a social violence that appears to us in the form of a destiny. Norms incorporated in facts thus lead us to become compliant to the « divine decree » that has been planned for us. The value of each existence is therefore estimated according the unique imperative of capital infinite valuation inscribed in the nature of things, and where renouncing to be is the condition to have a world to live in. Our freedom, as an autonomous subject, hence depends on this indirect domination involving nothing less than the possibility to be. Unable the existence of those who in this world are nothing implies thus the possibility of breaking that destiny, envisaging justice in its link to this time « out of joint », now in crisis, and haunted by all those who refuse to waive

Texto completo da fonteConsidering a low enough kinetic energy, a free neutron can be materially or magnetically trapped in a defined volume. This trapping allows experimenters to study the neutron and its characteristics, and in this case, to measure its mean lifetime. The HOPE experiment commissioned at Laue Langevin Institute in Grenoble is aimed at providing a 1 %- accuracy value. One way to measure lifetime is to record every single neutron beta decay occurring in the trap by counting the emitted electrons. The detector SECOND has been specifically designed to fulfill this goal within HOPE but also to discriminate other types of particles that induce false events. The latter argument is the reason for the two detection stages SECOND is composed of. The plastic scintillators phoswich constitutes the main part of the detector and has been successfully operated during preliminary tests at low temperature. The rejection rate of cosmic muons events is about 98 %, and this value can be drastically enhanced using a more suitable data acquisition system

Texto completo da fonteBetween 1806 and 1864, the preferential regime for theatre set up by Napoleon I created a framework for theatrical life in Lyons. Its implementation saw the Grand-Théâtre and the Théâtre des Célestins come together under one management, run and supervised by the local authorities. In three acts, this research aims to understand the impact of the preferential regime in Lyons, to appreciate the rhythm of theatrical life and the social exchange between the spectators of the two theatres. Throughout the period of preferential treatment, the local authorities tried to apply the rules of the « preferential regime”, imposed by the State, to 29 unstable theatrical companies which often ended in bankruptcy. Nonetheless, the main goal of theatrical entrepreneurs, now employed by the local authorities, was to make sure that every evening the theatres were open, and that the actors could perform the plays in the repertoire in front of an often scant and mixed audience. The ticket holders felt they had a right of opinion concerning the commitment of the actors. The weeks following the annual opening, the public used and abused this « right » under the strict surveillance of the theatrical police. All these groups, authorities, theatre managers, and spectators made up the theatrical life in Lyons during the first half of the 19th century. As in many provincial towns, the history of Lyons theatre life has been neglected. However, the Capital of Gaul had indeed a theatrical life, which deserves its place, as much as any other, in the cultural history of the nation
Lim, In Sook. "La voie de la broderie entre Orient et Occident : art et vie spirituelle dans les "rides" du temps". Paris 8, 2006. http://www.theses.fr/2006PA082663.
Texto completo da fonteThe research starting point has its source in an environment close to textile art, about a reflection pertaining to pattern and repetition, at the frontier between decorative art and plastic artistic expression found in contemporary art catalogues. The choice of artistic expression trough embroidery was the decisive key to explore a route studded with obstacles : pre-formed opinions about “needle-work” and the condition of the woman artist who embroiders. The position of these works is placed in problematical movements of artists, who have, all throughout the 20th century, upset hierarchies in art and questioned the use of techniques, material and practices. It also takes into account the evolution of ornamentation, struck with the “desire of being art” in the problematic concept of ornamentation. The embroiderer’s gesture, integrated in the use of a sewing machine or computer software, which leads to the “embroidered painting”, is essentially linked to a mixture of East and West. It’s nourished by spiritual thought stemming from harmonious principles which structure the universe of shapes and by an articulation between movement and mobility, empty and full, order and chaos, organic and inorganic, appearance and disappearance. Thougn the “magic power of needles”, the project of the research is to establish a bridge which links “art of wrinkles” and the “unique brush stroke” of the chinese pictorial tradition to the present situation of art and contemporary practices

Texto completo da fonteDrawing an anthropology, sociology and history, the author examines aspects of identity and daily life in a small Brittany town. Renowned for its maritime history and cultural events it plays host to (bi-annual boat festival, the Mardi Gras carnaval. . . ), Douarnenez seems to endow its inhabitants with a special identity renowned throughout the region. The book is not simply a monography, but a distillation of interviews, research, and observations providing a textured account of the Personal circumstances of residents in this singular place. The author pursues his interest in the daily lives of "Douarnenistes", looking through their eyes, and striving to avoid reproducing an ethnological treatise that fail to take into account the various situations the ethnologist himself is caught up in. The author applies a kind of anthropology of action, reconstructing individual's words and actions by simply describing them, taking care not to interpret ex nihilo events and mannerisms observed which would otherwise appear to derive from an exterior authority. Examining two districts in the town, and other observations taken at random, the author claims there are two kinds of résident, on thé one hand, and on the other hand neighbourly relationships and other ties resulting from co-habitations do not always engender strong social relations, but generate a strong feeling of belonging specific to a district and to the town. Douarnenists (the elderly above all) are either active on the edge of it and construct their individual and collective identity in this way, or they live on the edge of it, finding their identity landmarks in other places, in other moments in time, and often through work

The use of this beam for Positron Annihilation Lifetime Spectroscopy measurements was studied for 2 configurations : the developpement of a pulsed beam, the use of secondary electrons. The first part of this work gives a review of the properties of positron and positronium,e+e- bound state. After a brief description of the apparatus, the 2 beam configurations are detailed. The pulse beam consists in a time compression of positrons bunches. Simulations were carried out to select the experimental parameters. The development of the second mode is based on the detection of secondary electrons. Low energy phenomena were introduced in the simulations. The good results obtained for time resolution (-500 ps for both configurations) allowed us to perform measurements for solid state physics. Both configurations allow wide prospects in use and development of the beam

Texto completo da fonteThe urban forms are transformed further to socioeconomic and cultural processes and of technological innovation as it happens at present by the globalization of economic processes and telematic innovation which redraw the spatial and temporal statutes. The contemporary city is weaved by a system of multi-scale relations, spongy and breathing according to the rhythms of the associated life, structured by systems of public schedules and by individual regimes of meeting which distribute in a spatial articulation, governed by the individual diaries. Live in this city, characterized by temporality of usage raise the problem of social cohesion and live together. The city contemporary is defines as an urban chronotope, as is an urban place lived according to characteristic rhythms the base of which presents is defined by the morphology of the constructed spaces historically, by the installed activities and by their schedules of opening lock, by the geography and the rhythms of presence and copresence of the resident city-dwellers and welcomed populations, by the mobility. I privilege a particular urban chronotope of the urban fabric, the Station of the North Exchanges Paris. These stations of yesterday, poles of current urban exchanges, these places-movement of the city of tomorrow polarize diverse urban functions. The city of present is established in complex set temporalised objects, defined by schedules and calendars. The physics of the city is spatiotemporal it includes the city as the inhabited place of the present, and we cannot separate the historic construction, forms of manners, current physico-morphological forms, processes of social transformations there

Texto completo da fonteThe evolution of Bergsonism seems to be going from durée (duration) to life. In hisCreative Evolution, after his first two works, Bergson discovered indeed that life endures,in an at least similar way our consciousness does. Yet, beneath this appearance ofcontinuity, Bergsonism might well conceal some gaps, or even breaks between durée andlife. Our study, beginning with this assumption of a discontinuity in his thought, firstconsists in trying to identify these potential breaks between durée and life in his fourmajor works. We show these ruptures by making plain textual breaks inside each of thesefour books, all of them, but each one in a different way. We discuss their significance, not only for an understanding of Bergsonism but also for Philosophy as a Whole. Wewant to establish by this study two points: 1. In Bergson, the evolution of life manifests atime which is alien to durée, a time which necessarily is woven with some spatiality. Wename the logic characteristic of this time of life the "dialectic of life." 2. The ultimateconsequence of this dialectic of life occurs in the reflexive moment when the subject, ashe realizes this dialectic, commits himself knowingly to this movement of life, as hehimself belongs to the living. This reflexive moment is the very moment of our present, where Politics as the field of the common action for deciding the future opens up to use. This is how the dialectic of life leads us to Politics

This research-creation doctoral thesis is a rendezvous with Marie Guyart, in both segments of its composition. The creation part, D’errance et d’espace. Accompagnement de Marie Guyart, is composed of versified poetic lyrics (with themes of wandering and nature: ocean – forest – North – river – cold – sky – land) accompanied by some of Marie Guyart’s written correspondence treating of the same themes. This literary accompaniment has the double objective of employing the Ursuline’s words as a trigger element of the poetic creation as well as producing a work of original character bringing together two women of the XVIIth et XXIst centuries. A doctoral creative work demonstrating the mysterious foundation of speech woven beyond time and space. The first research segment, D’errance et d’espace chez Marie Guyart, has as objective, on the one hand, to demonstrate the relevance of the Ursuline’s texts with regard to the themes treated in the creation part and, on the other hand, to show the life of the Mother of New France from a new angle. The vast majority of researchers often deal with the aspect of a cloistered life within which the nun seeks only to lose herself in God. Even if this vision of Guyart is relevant, I consider it important to broaden this view by looking at the connection between the Ursuline and space in New France as witnessed mainly in her letters treating of distant lands. This allows us to see how the nun lives out her desire for journeying through her unique relation to the territory. Through her words, Marie Guyart travels to the four corners of her adopted land. She breaks free, she journeys, she feeds her need for mystical space. The second research segment, Poésie et mystique : au coeur d’une rencontre, treats of the birth of a bond between Guyart and the doctoral student, which bond held fast throughout the creation segment of the thesis. I illustrate and question the manner in which this literary encounter occurred between a mystical writer and a poet in search of the absolute and thus open discussion to a broader approach to the creative act in general.

Texto completo da fonteFieldwork was carried out from september 1985 to february 1987, in the eastern part of the island of madura (indonesia). Participant observation through residence in a village, interviews with specialists, amateurs and audiences, audio and video recordings and their transcriptions, musical notations, systematic surveys conducted near the end of the fieldwork on the artistic tastes and practices of 37 families, and direct observation of 160 performances were the methods enabling the constitution of the corpus of study, addressing the need for ethnographic and thematic study. Chapter i presents the inevitable musical support for these practices. In chapter ii, the author classifies the varied corpus of the region's living artistic genres, offering guidelines concerning performance structure and repertoire, identifies regional differentiation and provides a chronological frame. Chapter iv is devoted to spatial, temporal, economic and human conditions necessary for learning, practice and for reception by an audience, and to the most recent developments. Grounded in daily life, these artistic practices constitute attempted solutions and responses to problemes and aspirations that are both individual and collective, and may be seen as strategies for survival, prestige, or for economic or political power
