The development of globalization, information technology and knowledge in the society has made social functioning more and more complicated. It causes a lot of new social problems (for example, social exclusion which results in reducing person’s self-dependence, when own personality is not really estimated, the identification of own needs and aims, the awareness of strong and weak points, as well as self-motivation when a teenager with a constructive approach motivates himself/herself and develops self-control thus improving self-dependence). Teenagers are not able to cope with both own life experience and they cannot perceive the aspects of social environment. A social pedagogue in work with teenagers is as an assistant and advisor, as a teacher, paying attention to such categories in teenager’s life as the improvement of self-dependence. The aim of the work is to determine pre conditions for the improvement of teenagers’ self-dependence at X Elementary school. The work includes the results of theoretical research about self-dependence, cognitions about the socialization process.

Backgrounds: Children or teenagers, as is known, are greatly influenced by their social environment, so that crimes or deviations that occur are not only influenced by the educational style of parents, but also by social environmental conditions and irregular norm behavior in community life. This is caused by various factors such as societal conditions, relationships, political economy, culture, lifestyle, family conditions, and changes in norms, which indirectly contribute to high crime rates. Objective: Analyzing parenting patterns applied by parents to teenagers, the influence of family structure on parenting patterns and deviations, analyzing forms of social deviations in teenagers and the impact of parenting patterns on social deviations in teenagers on society. Methods: This research method uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, adopting the technique of deliberately selecting informants to select teenagers under the age of 21 who often commit social deviations, their parents, community leaders, religious leaders, and residents of Malaku Village, North Seram District, Central Maluku Regency, with a data collection process through observation, interviews and data analysis using the Mode/Miles and Huberman approach, involving a total of 20 informants consisting of teenagers, parents, community leaders, the community and local officials. Results: The parenting patterns applied by parents to teenage children in Malaku Village can be divided into two, namely permissive parenting and democratic parenting. However, in cases of social deviance, the influence of the social environment, especially friendship, is often more dominant than the parenting style applied by parents. Social deviations committed by teenagers in Malaku Village can be divided into two, namely ordinary delinquency and criminal delinquency. Conclusion: The impact of wrong parenting patterns and a bad social environment on social deviance among teenagers in Malaku Village includes the growth of teenagers who lack quality, are apathetic and have an aggressive nature. This is caused by minimal education and a lack of moral values instilled by parents and the surrounding environment.

A decrease in active movement is the cause of many diseases of modern man. The majority of schoolchildren in Ukraine (70.6% of boys and 83.0% of girls, 2016) did not follow recommendations for physical activity (PA). During the quarantine due to the COVID-19 pandemic, children’s PA was limited in many countries of the world. Increasing motor activity is one of the powerful means of preventing a number of cardiovascular diseases and metabolic disorders. Purpose - to determine the levels of PA of adolescents in the conditions of quarantine restrictions in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic; to establish the types of activities that ensure sufficient and low motor activity; to indicate ways of increasing it in adolescence. Materials and methods. The analysis of 138 questionnaires of teenagers aged 10-18 from spring 2020 to February 2022 was carried out: 68 girls and 70 boys. PA of adolescents was assessed using the International Adapted Physical Activity Questionnaire. All types of РA during the week (sports sections, active games, morning exercise, hiking, physical education classes) and the time spent on each type were taken into account. A total score of up to 7 points corresponded to low РA, from 7 to 8.9 to moderate, more than 9 to high РA. Results. 50.1% of teenagers had low FA, 22.4% middle, and 27.5% high. In the group of teenagers with low РA, only a third had motor games in the fresh air and morning exercises, 62% of them attended physical education classes and 18% - a sports section. Children with average РA in 35% of cases attended the section, 84% - physical education classes, and every second one did morning exercises and had active games. High РA consisted of a combination of sports (82%) and physical education lessons (87%), active games (66%) and morning exercises (68%). Almost all teenagers, regardless of the level of РA, had walks, but for every third person with low РA, their duration did not exceed 30 minutes. With average and high РA, the duration of walks in most people was more than 40 minutes. Conclusions. A more important task for educators, parents, doctors and the state as a whole is to increase the motivation of teenagers to physical culture and expand health and sports areas, their adaptation in periods of social restrictions. To achieve optimal РА, both the variety of types of activity and their duration are important. The research was carried out in accordance with the principles of the Helsinki Declaration. The study protocol was approved by the Local Ethics Committee of participating institution. The informed consent of the patient was obtained for conducting the studies. No conflict of interest was declared by the authors.

Compared with their forerunners, the modern teenagers experience adolescence and solve age problems in different way, and face other social risks. The representations of situations of social and psychological adjustment and maladjustment also differ in some aspects. The article discusses the factors which influence the adolescence in modern conditions: spread of the Internet, lack of public demand for a certain desired life trajectory of a growing teenager, high social tension and uncertainty, changes in the structure and essence of the family concept; blurred teenagers identity in the context of variety of identification options. These factors affect the development of the resources available to teenagers and their use of them, which social risks they are exposed to, and what forms of deviant behavior they show. Such changes in the social environment of adolescent development and, as a consequence, in the experiencing adolescence, allow to check and revise the existing representations of the teen age problems.

The coexistence of people of different cultures within a state, as a consequence of mass migration, has created an urgent need to identify ways to promote effective interethnic dialogue and harmonic social relationships. This study examines the problem exemplified in the multiethnic Transbaikal region of the Russian Federation, where more than one hundred nationalities cohabit. The paper illuminates the notion of tolerance, and interprets an array of sociological data to analyze the level of teenagers’ tolerance in a multiethnic environment. Methods of study include a research survey, correlation analysis, and a systematic approach to interpreting results. Modern education systems require institutions to be competent in providing conditions for the formation of tolerance as a quality in a teenager’s personality. The results of this research show that a multiethnic environment provides an effective context for a teenager to form and improve tolerance through interethnic dialogue, and that special pedagogical strategies in educational institutions could contribute to improving cultural awareness and peaceful coexistence.

Social interaction is something that teenagers need. Driven by high curiosity, this often leads to negative impacts such as drug abuse. One of the cases occurred in Nagari Paninjauan, a teenager finally fell into legal custody to go through the rehabilitation process. Even though they have been responsible for their actions, society's view of teenagers is still considered bad, causing gaps in their social interactions, so this is very interesting to research. The aim of this research is to find out the background and interactions of teenagers before they are introduced to drugs and to find out the form of their interactions after drug rehabilitation. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Data collection was carried out through observation and interviews with an informant. Based on the results of this research, it is known that informants who initially interacted actively in society, were ultimately influenced by their friendship environment to consume and sell drugs. However, after serving a sentence and training for five years and three months, the informant still received bad views from the public. Currently, the form of interaction that teenagers have is accommodation. Existing conditions also cause teenagers to tend to be passive in interacting with society. Thus, researchers suggest to informants to open themselves up and try to develop their potential so that society's view of them changes.

Abstract The present paper discusses disclosure, hiding and self protection in the current online interactions among teenagers. It focuses on disclosure of inner feelings and attitudes, and hiding as a form of self protection online. We explore more specific the following questions: How the feelings and attitudes are disclosed and understood online when teenagers use instant messenger; For what do teenagers choose to disclose themselves on instant messenger and control the conditions of their interactions online? The qualitative research method we used to explore the mentioned questions was the offline and online interview. Two hypotheses emerged and are presented as the results of this study. These are analysed, illustrated by teenager’s responses, discussed and on hand to be verified with statistical method in further quantitative research. Reduced nonverbal cues online reduce the accuracy of empathic understanding which do not stop teenagers to disclose and develop sympathy online. Teenagers choose to disclose themselves online in order to get and/or to maintain a sense of belongingness, to get help or to exercise assertiveness and self-confidence. They learn to control the conditions of their online interactions in order to play with each other or to protect their selves from potential hurts and unwanted intrusions: they choose either to gossip, attack or to hide them online. The present study pleads for action research and building social programs in order to prevent online and offline violence.

The development of digital technology has brought human fantasy goes beyond limits, creating a three-dimensional space of the following items inside, to a stage where virtual reality has exceeded the manipulation and visual image so as to guide humans step from the real world to the fantasy world. The virtual world looks real and this includes the development of social media such as Instagram. Teens take advantage of such conditions to have a different identity. They can be whatever they want. Fake identities in cyberspace are a solution to teenage problems regarding the absence of self-confidence and social realities in the real world. In particular, this paper will discuss how the virtual reality phenomenon is coupled with real reality by reviewing virtual communication through social media in cyberspace, especially Instagram. The discussion section will begin to discuss the symbolic interactions found on social media, followed by the creation of identity among teens, and also the motivation of teens to create fake identities. The end part of the discussion concluded that social media provided a space for teenagers to have the identity they desire. This identity led teenagers to become another people to cover up their shortcomings. The motivation for teenagers to have a fake identity on Instagram was also supported by the desire to get good appraisal from fellow Instagram users that they might not get in the real world.

Modern conditions of life and the interaction of the individual with the environment necessitated the development of social competence in the younger generation. It is emphasized that social competence is considered an important component of the process of socialization of young people, allows a person to adapt to various external and internal situations. It is noted that the first theories of social competence were introduced three decades ago, which, under modern conditions, underwent a certain transformation. The article analyzes the research of foreign scientists from the USA, UK, Spain, Holland on the assessment and formation of social competence in adolescents. It was revealed that a similar comprehensive analysis was carried out in 2011 by a group of scientists led by N. Humphrey. It was revealed that research of foreign scientists was carried out in the following areas: general issues of social competence; social competence of children of preschool and school age, social competence of students and adults in the aspect of professional growth; social competence in terms of medicine, psychology. The analysis of scientific works showed that in the field of research of foreign scientists lies the relationship between: student success, academic and social skills; intelligence, social intelligence and social competence; social competence, academic performance and behavior. It has been found that academic performance is often used as one of the criteria for assessing social competence. Foreign researchers associate the development of social competence with a positive influence on behavior, academic performance, personal success. The effectiveness of the formation of social competence depends on a positive attitude to the result, the use of active learning methods, productive discussions between peers, the use of joint group work in the classroom.

Cognitive-behavioral therapy is a type of psychosocial intervention which aims to reduce the mental health conditions like depression, anxiety disorder, and others. Similarly, deep learning is a type of machine learning and artificial intelligence that imitates how humans gain certain types of knowledge. In this paper, deep learning has been used to effectively alleviate teenagers’ social anxiety and improve their social ability and the quality of social relations. It aims to conduct an in-depth study on the diagnosis and treatment of cognitive behavior therapy in teenagers based on deep learning. First, it constructs the cognitive behavior diagnosis and treatment evaluation system of adolescent social anxiety and divides the system function into functional, structural, and database design. Then, the correlation prediction model between cognitive behavior therapy and adolescent social anxiety is constructed based on a multiobjective evolutionary algorithm. The risk and protective factors in adolescent growth are screened from the perspectives of people, family, school, and society. The fuzzy itemset support of different factors is defined. The vector of adolescent social anxiety expression index’s weight is calculated. The subjective and objective factors of social anxiety in adolescents are extracted based on the grey correlation degree. The correlation prediction model between accurate cognitive behavior therapy and adolescents’ social anxiety is established to complete the prediction research, diagnosis, and treatment effect. Simulation experiments show that the proposed method has good feasibility and high prediction accuracy. It can effectively alleviate the social anxiety of teenagers.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to investigate teenagers’ preferences, attitudes, and purchasing power towards organic foods in markets and to explain influences of teenagers’ choices and purchasing intentions on organic foods. Design/methodology/approach A paper-based and a web-based survey were conducted among 557 teenagers in Thailand. A choice experiment logit model was used to identify factors influencing decision in purchasing. Findings The study found that teen consumers were likely to buy ready-to-cook organic food items instead of conventional food items because of health and food safety concerned under their budget constraints. The willingness to pay found organic food items (eggs, pork, chicken) had negative impact but organic opinion had positive impact. The attitudes on high price of organic food items were positive impact because of production process, quality, and quantity of products. Research limitations/implications Teenagers’ consumption impacted on food demands in supermarkets and convenient stores because of their attitudes and behaviours in purchasing. The desired food characteristics should be good quality, safety for consumers, and available in the market nationwide. The supported policies for expanding organic markets were benefits for organic farmers to be sustainable farming. Originality/value This study examined the impacts of economic conditions and the premium quality healthy food products on teenagers’ food motivation.

Preservation and strengthening of health and the formation of a healthy lifestyle of teenagers are urgent problems at the national level. To support the health of Ukrainian teenagers, it is important to investigate the medical and social aspects of nutrition. Rational nutrition of teenagers contributes not only to the preservation of health, but also to the development of a high level of vital activity. For a rational diet, you need to follow food ration, food regime, conditions of use and preparation of food. The correct diet is an important component of rational nutrition. The regime involves regular eating at certain hours at certain intervals, as well as the distribution of the daily ration according to energy value during the day. According to scientists, the basis of modern rational nutrition is made up of the achievements of three sciences: medicine, genetics, dietetics. The aim - to conduct a systematic analysis of scientific sources regarding the medical and social aspects of the rational nutrition of Ukrainian teenagers and negative factors in nutrition that affect the state of health. Scientific principles of rational nutrition should be aimed at improving the health of adolescents. Domestic doctors note that diseases of the gastrointestinal tract (gastritis, peptic ulcer, constipation, cholecystitis), obesity, allergic and other diseases are the consequences of negative modern trends in nutrition. Seven basic elements of nutrition are necessary for the normal functioning of the body of a teenage child: water, proteins, fats, carbohydrates, fiber, vitamins and trace elements. Rational nutrition should be complete in quantitative terms, that is, the energy value (calorie) of the daily ration should correspond to the body’s energy expenditure, taking into account the non-digestible part of the ration; follow a rational diet: the hours of eating should correspond to the body’s biological rhythms; the number of meals should be 5-6 times for children of different ages; the interval between meals should be 3-4 hours. The essence of the modern concept of balanced nutrition is that for the normal life of teenagers, it is necessary to ensure a certain norm of physiological needs in energy, proteins, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals. No conflict of interests was declared by the author.

Introduction: Living on the street is a global problem evidenced in both developed and developing nations, especially in medium and large urban centers. Descriptive Review: The presence of people who make the streets of contemporary metropolises their home is an undeniable reality. In the first half of the 20th century, this phenomenon was intensified in Brazil with the rural exodus and the migratory process, driven by industrial growth. Method: Discussion: Several health problems can be precipitated or worsened by being on the streets: tuberculosis, infestations, foot problems, sexually transmitted diseases, oral health problems, high-risk pregnancy. Results: The consumption of alcohol and other psychoactive drugs and the health and social consequences for both the community and users draw the attention of different segments of society, as it is often related to dependence on these substances and social vulnerability. Final Considerations: Teenage pregnancy has been the focus of health research. Current literature reveals much about the life contexts that lead adolescents to run away from home: victimization, domestic violence, sexual abuse, substance abuse, mental health problems, poverty, restricted social relationships and residential instability are often precursors to life on the streets. among teenagers.

Recent research on the social and gendered geographies of children and young people is filled with new insights into the social and cultural conditions under which their presence in urban space is moderated and their identity constructed. This study seeks to contribute to this research area, by exploring the ways in which teenage boys acquire and maintain a particularly gendered sense of place. The paper demonstrates that this sense of place is regulated by the support structures of all male schooling, by patriarchal family structures, and through the marshalling of the boundaries of heterosexuality amongst the boy's peer group. The paper concludes that due consideration of these issues needs to be evaluated if the experience of teenagers in urban space is to be effectively understood by social geographers.

The article examines the sexist attitudes of teenagers from a sociological point of view. The purpose of the article is to theoretically substantiate the importance of teaching teenagers about gender issues in order to overcome sexism. It was found that there are differences in the approval of sexist attitudes depending on the social characteristics of adolescent boys and girls. It was found that the endorsement of sexist attitudes was less likely for girls who were not in a romantic relationship than for girls who were in a romantic relationship. Social characteristics are of particular importance in explaining differences in sexist attitudes in girls and boys. Gender equality education should start from the moment children enter school and continue throughout their education. Sexism is a normalizing ideology related to gender that devalues the attributes of women and the work that women do. By glorifying the qualities and achievements of men and demeaning women, sexism contributes to inequality between the sexes. Sexist social attitudes assert masculine norms and dictate what behavior is considered “normal” for both boys and girls. This dyad permeates all other social differences, including disability, determines the priority of interests in educational activities. Creating a gender-sensitive environment based on the idea of gender equality consists in avoiding sexism, overcoming existing gender stereotypes, forming the experience of a partnership between the sexes on an equal basis, minimizing facts of opposition based on gender, creating equal conditions and opportunities for realizing creative potential, opportunities for personal development of everyone a teenager. Adolescence is a phase of life that all humans will definitely pass through. This phase is very important because during adolescence a person will search for their own identity. Apart from that, the current condition of teenagers will influence the conditions when teenagers approach adulthood and play an active role in productive life and social life in society. Today's technological developments are very sophisticated and easy to access, one of which is access to pornographic films which are very easily accessed by teenagers which results in addiction to watching pornographic films repeatedly and will affect their social life behavior when interacting in the community such as not being able to socialize because they are closed and not confident and in the school environment teenagers will have difficulty concentrating on studying and will be alone away from their friends because of their lack of self-confidence. The method used in this research is the observation method, namely a data collection technique carried out through observations, accompanied by notes on the condition or behavior of the target object. Many teenagers have girlfriends at a very young age and even hold hands easily in society because the films they watch are not appropriate for their age, which makes them curious in the phase of finding their identity. The aim of this research is to find out how teenagers behave regarding the impact of pornography addiction. The results of this research show that many teenagers behave negatively and begin to imitate sexual acts towards anyone. Keywords: Pornography, Teenagers, Social Life

Objective. Study of the psychological well-being of children left without parental care in a children’s health camp in different social situations and in different social environments. Background. The negative effects of raising orphaned children in state institutions can be compensated by their stay in alternative socialization conditions, including in a children’s health camp. It is important to study the psychological well-being of orphans in a health camp as determining the effectiveness of their socialization. Study design. The paper studied the influence of two factors on the psychological well-being of orphaned children in the camp: the type of social situation and the composition of the social environment. The connection was checked by applying the Mann-Whitney U-test and the Kruskal-Wallis test. Participants. Students of centers for the promotion of family education (N=115) who are on vacation in children’s health camps in mixed groups (N=64) and in separate groups (N=51). Of these, 55 are boys and 60 are girls between the ages of 12 and 15. Camp counselors (N=15) from mixed (N=10) and separate (N=15) groups. Measurements. A survey using the method of self-assessment of emotional States by A. Wessman and D. Rix, including programmed observation. Results. The composition of the social environment is one of the factors that determine the well-being of children. Among teenagers in mixed groups (“family” teenagers and orphaned children), it is more favorable in the situation of communication with counselors, and less favorable in the situation of joint activities with peers. In groups consisting only of orphaned children, the well-being is more favorable in situations of joint activity and everyday communication. In General, orphaned children in separate detachments feel more comfortable compared to orphans in mixed detachments. There was a discrepancy between the assessment of psychological well-being by orphaned teenagers and the assessment of this well-being by counselors. Conclusions. The psychological well-being of orphaned teenagers in a children’s health camp is determined by two factors — the type of social situation and the composition of the social environment.

The result of this research is the blurring of social reality that occurs among teenagers on the issue of existence. Existence in this case is a paradigm shift regarding success in achieving something, today's teenagers think that they can be successful instantly by going 'viral' on TikTok. This application is like a field to spill the expression of its users, for the sake of content, many TikTok users seem to throw away shame and break the boundaries of social norms such as pornography, hate speech, and so on, all of which are menus that are presented and can be found easily on the TikTok application.

Environmental conditions influence meal size in adults and children. Intake of sweet drinks could contribute significantly to energy intake and potentially affect body weight, particularly in young individuals. The objectives of the present study were to measure the lunch intake of food and drinks under controlled laboratory settings in teenagers and to compare the influence of different meal conditions. Normal-weight adolescents (fourteen males and fifteen females) participated in four standardised lunches, scheduled 1 week apart. The same popular items (meat dish, dessert, water, juice, soda) were served at all meals. Ad libitum intake was measured under four conditions: subjects ate alone; in groups; alone while viewing television; alone while listening to music. Visual analogue scales were used to assess pre- and post-meal hunger and thirst and meal palatability. Energy, solid food and fluid intake was different (significantly lower) only in the ‘eating in group’ condition, in spite of identical intensity of pre-meal hunger. More soda was consumed when participants were watching television, and more water was consumed while listening to music. Across all conditions, more soda than water was consumed. Post-meal ratings of hunger, thirst and palatability did not differ between conditions. We concluded that, in teenagers, a ‘social inhibition’ effect appears rather than the ‘social facilitation’ previously reported in adults. Although teenagers do not respond to the presence of television or another ‘distractor’ such as music by eating more, they do ingest more soda when the television is on. The social significance of meals, conditioned responses and habituation to ‘distractors’ may be different between adolescents and adults.

Introduction: Maintaining dignity is one of patients is one of the main ethical responsibilities of caregivers. However, in many cases, the dignity of patients, especially autistic teenagers is not maintained. The extent to which dignity needs are met for this group within the Iranian care system is difficult to determine as dignity is an abstract concept, and there are few related research studies reported. Objectives: The objective of this study is to find out caregivers perspectives on dignity in teenagers with autistic spectrum disorder. Research design: This study uses a qualitative research design. The data were collected through individual, semi-structured interviews and field notes developed during the interviews. In order to analyze the data, qualitative conventional content analysis was used. Participants and research context: In all, 16 professional caregivers for autistic teenagers working in public hospitals were recruited based on a targeted sampling method to reach data saturation from February 2016 to July 2017. Findings: The findings of this study were presented in three main themes, “privacy,” “respecting individual identity,” and “comprehensive support,” and 11 categories. Ethical consideration: This study’s protocol was approved by the Research Ethics Committee of medical universities located in Southeast of Iran and the required ethical principles were followed throughout. Discussion and conclusion: Based on the findings of this study from the perspective of caregivers, autistic teenagers need to be cared for and educated in a respectful environment where their privacy is maintained, their individual identities are respected, and they receive comprehensive familial, social, and financial support. These conditions would maintain the dignity of such teenagers and would result in appropriate behavioral outcomes. Therefore, it is suggested that a cultural, professional and institutional background in which all components of the autistic teenager’s dignity are protected and emphasized be provided.

The unlimited usage of social media of teenagers is a pervasive problem across the world. Many researchers have found the explicable correlation between social networks and discrimination. However, the effect of social media on marginalized teenagers such as LGBTQ and disabled population is yet under-discussed. Adolescents are at a critical stage of physical and psychological growth and maturity, as well as sexual orientation. The LGBTQ+ community experiences a lot of stigmatization and discrimination, which affects their normal lives. Similarly, people with disabilities are also lagging behind in their development due to inadequate education and support. Hence, the present study aims to provide a holistic review of how social media affects adolescence’s discrimination among their LGBTQ and disabled peers. The conditions and plight of marginalized communities were first presented. Results implicate that social media could benefit marginalized group by offering a collaborative and united group in some extent. However, there are excessive amounts of long-lasting negative comments towards this population. The true mechanism and causation require further researches.

Living conditions at this moment are characterized by a high level of development of information technologies. As a result, the formation of new thinking, new behavioral strategies, which affect the process of socialization of the individual. It has been noted, that in connection with the intensive digitalization of society, prerequisites arise for the social isolation of an individual subject, the formation of loneliness. This is most evident in the younger generation, as it is more sensitive to social changes. For exploring this phenomenon, an empirical study was conducted of the attitude of adolescents to loneliness and its interrelation with communicative abilities. Psychodiagnostic techniques have been used as research methods: the UCLA solitude scale by D. Russell, L. Peplo, M. Ferguson and the CBS questionnaire. For a quantitative analysis of the obtained data, the Spearman rank correlation coefficient has been used. An analysis of the results allowed us to establish the presence of loneliness in modern adolescents, which is associated with a decrease in their communicative abilities. The results can be used in the practical activities of social psychologists, teachers and educators.

Relevance of the study. The study of cultural congruence in creative teenagers presents a signifi cant challenge due to the confl icting demands of cultural norms and the conditions necessary to foster creativity. These conditions are crucial for the social and personality development of teenagers. Despite the importance of this issue, there is a lack of research examining the complex relationship between contrasting psychological traits in adolescents, such as cultural congruence and creativity. Research objective is the analysis of correlation between cultural congruence and divergent thinking in younger and older teenagers, and assessment of the extent to which divergent thinking affects cultural congruence in a normative setting. Methods and sampling. The study involved  teenagers aged - (M=.) and was conducted during a year between March  and March  at multi-profi le lyceums in Kazan, Russia. The study used reliable, adapted, and valid methods, the methodology of L.F. Bayanova and O.G. Minyaev “Determining the Level of Cultural Congruence for Adolescents,” H. Zivert’s questionnaire “Determining Creative Abilities”, F. Williams’ “Test of Personality Creative Characteristics,” N.A. Baturin and E.L. Soldatova’s “Diagnosis of Divergent Thinking,” A.V. Zverkov and E.V. Eidman’s questionnaire “Study of Willful Self-Regulation”, and V.I. Morosanova’s questionnaire “Style of Behavior Self-Regulation”. Key fi ndings. The study found that younger adolescents show more cultural primitivity and highly developed divergent thinking compared to older teenagers. A variance analysis established the infl uence of divergent thinking on the cultural congruence of teenagers. Conclusion. These results are of practical signifi cance and can be used as the basis for developmental programs when working with teenagers.

Unwanted pregnancy in adolescents may have negative impacts on physical, psychological, social and spiritual condition. The physical impact could endanger the teenage mothers and even their infants. Psychological stress could trigger a trial to have an abortion which can lead to death. Other psychological effect, the teenage mothers will try to escape from responsibility or keeping to continue their pregnancies by compulsion. Meanwhile, besides, social judgement and scorn, as well as banishing made by surrounding community, the community will also reject the children with unclear parents and they are considered illegal children of adulteries (Husaeni, 2009). Based on data from the Directorate of Maternal Health, the biggest cause of teenage maternal death is bleeding as a result of premature pregnancy. The purpose of this study was to determine the socio-cultural, economic of an unwanted pregnancy in single parent of adolescent mothers. This type of research is qualitative with a phenomenological and ethnographic approach. The population and sample are pregnant women and single parent mothers (having toddlers). The sample size is 9 people. Purposive Sampling Data collection by in-depth interviews (In-depth interview) to adolescents. The research was conducted in TTU District, East Nusa Tenggara. Research Results: 100% teenage single parent mothers do not work, age 15-19 years with the average education of junior high school to senior high school. Socio-culturally, teenagers imitate city life, lack of or abandon themselves from spiritual life in the family, and having trend to try new things. Teenage pregnancies are mostly unwanted as they happened accidentally. It was due to unsafe sex which was partly triggered by feeling bored with life in dormitories, adopting city life, lack of control from parents and family when teenagers return home, low or none of sexual education, simply following others, mutual consent, forced by boyfriends, poor knowledge Lack of knowledge on reproductive health and the influence of social media causes teenagers to have sex which causes unwanted pregnancies and poor socio-economic conditions. Suggestions The importance of preventing unwanted pregnancies in adolescents in schools should be started from the elementary schools by introducing health reproduction. Promotional materials related to reproductive health should be adapted to the age and development level of adolescents. In communities, especially those with low economic status, increasing awareness and knowledge about maternal and infant health is carried out through continuous health promotion.

The research design with participation of children and adolescents has some distinctive features. They are caused by the legal status of this age group, its psycho-physiological characteristics, the place of the group itself and its autonomy in the system of social relations. Particular concern in collecting materials is caused by questions involving sensitivity. In conditions when the research participants themselves belong to the sensitized field, the difficulties are multiplied. The object of the 2019 study, conducted at the Sociology Clinic of Applied Research (St. Petersburg State University), was teenage girls 16-19 years old participating in the program “A Firm Step into Adulthood”. The informants had a sensitive experience such as raising without parents, staying in an orphanage. Therefore, such techniques as "peer-to-peer", projective techniques "Life Line", "Chamomile", and vignette questions were used to build effective communication. Interviews in the peer-to-peer format were not implemented to the fullest extent, as similarities in gender, age, and differences in social experiences between interviewers and informants did not allow to level the boundaries in interactions. The questions about Internet safety and drug risks were the most difficult to get truthful answers. Overall, the study showed that despite the blurring boundaries of social norms in older adolescence, the areas of life that are strictly controlled by social institutions proved to be the most sensitive for study participants compared to those considered as such in public opinion, such as the loss of parents.

The article examines the theoretical aspects of raising self-confidence in older teenagers in the process of judo classes. The study of psychological and pedagogical literature shows the relevance of the problem of raising self-confidence in older teenagers, which is determined by the need of society for the formation of a self-sufficient, goal-oriented, decisive personality, capable of adapting to changes in social life, showing a life position and the ability to solve complex educational and rapidly changing life problems . The article mentions the main reasons for the decline in schoolchildren's attention to physical culture and mass physical education. It has been found that older adolescence is sensitive to the development of self-confidence through the means of martial arts. It is recommended that teachers take into account the following age patterns during the organization of the educational process for raising the self-confidence of older teenagers: intensive physical and emotional development; uneven maturation of the body's functional systems; awareness of one's individuality, formation of self-esteem, self-acceptance; Adolescent students are conflicted in social interaction and demonstrate superficial behavior; formation of life position; critical of themselves and others and others. Prospects for the study of the education of self-confidence in older teenagers in the process of judo classes are also determined: the peculiarities and dynamics of education of certain criteria and indicators of self-confidence in older teenagers in the process of judo classes throughout the entire age period; manifestations of self-confidence in older teenagers in the process of judo classes; pedagogic conditions that contribute to the development of self-confidence in older teenagers during physical education lessons, judo training classes, physical culture and mass work; the relationship between self-confidence and self-doubt of older teenagers in the process of educational activity; judo as an effective means of raising self-confidence in older teenagers. Thanks to the study of the literature, the essence and content of the concept of "self-confidence" was determined: the ability of older teenagers to consciously choose activities, to positively evaluate personal skills to meet their own needs and achieve a goal; the ability to objectively correlate one's capabilities with the desired result, show self-esteem and analyze the results of one's activities.

The aim of this article is to discuss “the Children’s Week” event organised from 1926 by the Polish Childcare Committee, which was the prototype of today’s Children’s Day and Mother’s Day. This issue has not been the subject of scientific analysis. The aim, meaning and course of “the Children’s Week” in the Second Republic of Poland were analysed based on the interwar sources’ materials. This holiday was one of the social events organised by the Polish Childcare Committee, which, as a body of the Ministry of Labour and Social Care, was responsible for improving health and social conditions of children and teenagers. Therefore, it organised care units for mothers and children, published scientific papers, propagated tasks related to the care of children and teenagers, and organised and conducted exemplary care institutions. “The Children’s Week” was a social event, which aim was to make Poles more interested in the situation of children and teenagers. For seven days the importance of proper care of the youngest children in a rebuilding country was emphasised. Every day was devoted to education or upbringing issues as well as the functioning of schools and social centres. The Children’s Day was on the first day of the event, and the Mother’s Day on the last. “The Children’s Week” in the Second Republic of Poland proceeded in accordance with the programme prepared by the Polish Childcare Committee. Each Voivodeship office tailored the programme to their capabilities and regional conditions. Despite the criticism it attracted, “the Children’s Week” was an extremely important social event, which was supported by pedagogical authorities, among others, Janusz Korczak. Annually, the public attention was focused on childcarerelated issues for seven days. This event was in line with the European trends at that time, in which children’s rights and freedoms were gaining more and more supporters.

<span>Social networks have become very popular over the years. Not only for informal social contact by teenagers but also more and agencies from different walks are trying to tap its potential for something meaningful and healthcare is one such sector. The use of social systems benefits the patient through enhanced advocacy, access to information, and the ability to interact meaningfully with others having similar conditions. For medical professionals, social media and networking enable stronger peer interaction, closer ties to patients and their care, and the opportunity to publicly share their skills and experience. Healthcare corporations can leverage social media to inform both patients and providers of the latest offerings and best practices, although there is also a significant potential for misinformation and thought shaping that should be watched closely.</span>

The article analyses a sufficient number of psychological literature on the problem of aggression. We have revealed the state of development of the problem under study in science, its conceptual and theoretical foundations, namely the following provisions: determination of personality behaviour by dialectical unity of external and internal (dependence of behaviour on biological and social factors); abrupt, stage personal development in ontogeny; personality development is caused by a complex influence on her psyche of heredity, environment, upbringing. The driving force behind personality development is contradiction. The development of aggression occurs in the process of socialization of the individual, and its manifestations depend on individual-psychological characteristics, social competence in the conditions of aggression, cognitive and psycho-emotional state, etc.We have found out that there are different approaches to the study of aggression, the reasons for its occurrence, to determine its nature and structure of aggressive personality behaviour. It has been established that, despite the controversy of this issue, its various interpretations, psychologists are united in the fact that aggression is a form of behaviour aimed at harming another living being. Aggressiveness is a personality trait that expresses readiness for aggression. Aggressive behaviour is a complex and multifaceted process that involves various factors, both social and biological. We have identified the prerequisites and causes of aggression in adolescence. The authors identified criteria and indicators that diagnosed the aggression of adolescents in two secondary schools: district and city. We found the levels of aggression in adolescents from both schools based on the interpretation of the obtained data. As a result of correlation measurements, we found a higher level of aggression in adolescents of urban school.

Aim. To describe clinical and psychological characteristics and quality of life in teenagers with a long-lasting low-grade fever associated with hypothalamic syndrome. Methods. Life history, objective status were assessed, clinical, laboratory and instrumental examinations were performed, quality of life and psychological status were estimated throughout the study. Clinical and laboratory investigations included complete blood count, urinalysis, stool examination; blood immunochemistry for mycoplasma, chlamydia, herpes virus, cytomegalovirus; blood biochemistry; bacteriology of nose and the pharynx swabs. Instrumental investigations included skull and cervical spine X-Ray, neurophysiological examinations (electroencephalography, echoencephalography, rheoencephalography), cranial and cervical blood vessels ultrasonography. The quality of life was estimated using special pediatric questionnaires (proposed by Molchanova L.F., Izhevsk State Medical Academy). Psychological status was assessed by questionnaires of H. Eysenck (temperament assessment) and C.D. Spielberg (research of personal and situation anxiety). Results. All teenagers underwent a complex treatment according to diagnosis, including antimicrobial treatment in case of chronic infections, antimicrobial treatment and immunostimulators in case of upper and lower airway infections caused by chlamydia and mycoplasma, correction of functional conditions of central nervous system (nootropics, vasoactive drugs, diuretics, anxiolytics, metabolic medications, hypotensives), massages, exercise therapy, physiotherapy, herbal treatment. After the course of treatment relapse of low-grade fever was 4-fold more often in teenagers with hypothalamic syndrome compared to those without. Teenagers with low-grade fever associated with hypothalamic syndrome had higher rates of melancholy, higher anxiety levels, leading to significant alterations of physical and mental health. Those changes may lead to mental and social adaptation problems, borderline social and family behavior, and increased rate of psychosomatic diseases. Conclusion. As it was revealed that relapsing low-grade fever might lead to reduced quality of life, further exacerbations of borderline mental problems, aggravate mental adaptation and social and family behavior problems, these teenagers require family and individual mental therapy, repeated treatment with nootropics, vasoactive drugs, diuretics, anxiolytics.

Social media and teenagers are interrelated and almost inseparable. Since the pandemic, the level of mobile phone usage has increased because learning activities and social interactions have moved online. So, the use of social media among teenagers has also increased. On the other hand, social media plays an important role in supporting social interaction between them. However, being active on social media makes you vulnerable to cyberbullying. Cyberbullying is a form of bullying behavior carried out using information technology, such as the internet and mobile phones. Activities in cyberspace lead to a higher risk of cyberbullying because social boundaries in cyberspace are considered looser than in the real world, so that the perpetrators feel more courageous and think they do not need to take responsibility for their actions. Cyberbullying can have an impact on the psychological and social conditions of teenagers. The role of parents and teachers is needed as a protective factor so that teenagers avoid cyberbullying, both as perpetrators and victims.
