ABSTRACT: The idea of a poetics of “ivoironie” offers new perspectives of analysis to Ivorian literary works. Indeed, since the advent of musical genres such as Zouglou in 1990 and coupé-décalé in 2000, Ivorian literature, in general, and Ivorian poetry, in particular, have been militating in favor of cultural rehabilitation and identity. Thus, the various literary works present in their textual materiality, many Ivorianisms and social symbols that deserve to be taken into account in the construction of meaning. Such reading issues are the basis of the poetics of Ivorianism, which is an extension of sociological theories of literature (sociocriticism, sociopoetics, semiostylistic, etc.). From this poetics of “ivoironie”, we will question the poetry of Toh Bi in order to construct its meaning. RÉSUMÉ : L’idée d’une poétique de l’ivoironie offre de nouvelles perspectives d’analyse aux œuvres littéraires ivoiriennes. En effet, depuis l’avènement des genres musicaux tels que le Zouglou en 1990 et le coupé décalé en 2000, la littérature ivoirienne, en général, et la poésie ivoirienne, en particulier, militent en faveur de la réhabilitation culturelle et identitaire. Ainsi, les différentes œuvres littéraires présentent dans leurs matérialités textuelles, de nombreux ivoirismes et symboles sociaux qui méritent d’être pris en compte dans la construction du sens. De tels enjeux de lecture fondent la poétique de l’ivoironie qui s’inscrit dans le prolongement des théories sociologiques de la littérature (la sociocritique, la sociopoétique, la sémiostylistique etc.) A l’aune de cette poétique de l’ivoironie, nous interrogerons la poésie de Toh Bi afin d’en construire le sens.

ABSTRACT: The poem of Camara Laye is a text conceived to magnify maternal love of African woman, which the poet presents as of no resemblance. The particularity of that love, which is shown through various manifestations and is being made particular from the way it is expressed, is that it takes the shapes of symbol. Maternal love of African woman is presented under the symbol of love itself. This poem is focused on maternal love of African woman given to be identified as the true love, as the incomparable love. And it is in consideration of the singular configuration of its statement that the semiostylistic approach has been chosen, by giving the analysis a semasiology order. The analysis shows that maternal love of African woman is literarized by the poet as the embodiment of true love. It is the mother of the writer whom he is talking about, whom sacrifice for her family is grasped by the poet as the example of sacrificial love, of the self to others. It is that love freed from interest, pure and true that the poem celebrates and sings, to make know to the world the intrinsic value of the Black woman, of the African woman, who is the embodiment of true love, an example of sacrifice to her family. RÉSUMÉ : Le poème de Camara Laye est une exaltation de l’amour maternel de la femme africaine, que le poète présente comme sans pareil. La particularité de cet amour, qui se manifeste en plusieurs facettes et se fait particulier par la forme même de son expression, est qu’il prend les configurations de symbole. L’amour maternel de la femme africaine est présenté sous le symbole de l’amour même. Le poème s’articule autour de cet amour donné à identifier comme le vrai amour, comme l’amour incomparable. C’est eu égard à la configuration singulière de sa mise en forme verbale qu’a été convoquée l’approche sémiostylistique, en l’analysant par le biais de la démarche sémasiologique. L’analyse démontre que l’amour maternel de la femme africaine est littérarisé comme l’incarnation du vrai amour. C’est la mère de l’écrivain dont il est question, celle dont le dévouement pour sa famille est saisi par le scripteur comme l’exemple d’un amour sacrificiel, du don de soi pour les autres. C’est cet amour dépourvu d’intérêt, pur et vrai que le poète exalte, célèbre et chante, pour faire connaître au monde la valeur intrinsèque singulière de la femme noire, de la femme africaine, qui est l’incarnation du véritable amour, un exemple du dévouement pour sa famille.

<p>Ushie’s poetry has been much studied for its message on topical issues like social injustice, political malfeasance, the environment, among others, and perhaps much more for its use of language. Yet several aspects of the use of language in Ushie’s poetry are yet to receive attention, and a major one among these is what this study has attempted to demonstrate. Against the background of Daiches’ (1948) exposition on creative writing as an art, and the creative writer as an artist in words, this study analyses a few of Joe Ushie’s poems with thetool of semiostylistics, and shows how Ushie communicates his messages through patterns created with language units in the text of his poems. This study concludes that this is a technique Ushie has consciously wrought, being himself a stylistic critic of the works of great literary artists, and thus very conversant with the workings of creative writing as verbal art with a semiotic dimension, as every good work of art in general.</p><p> </p><p><strong> Article visualizations:</strong></p><p><img src="/-counters-/edu_01/0628/a.php" alt="Hit counter" /></p>

Cette thèse se propose d'aborder la question de la polyphonie telle qu'elle se manifeste dans les romans de l'auteur comorien, Ali Zamir, que sont Anguille sous roche, Mon Étincelle, Dérangé que je suis et Jouissance. Suivant une approche à la fois énonciative et sémiostylistique, nous nous fixons pour objectif de faire ressortir tout ce qui contribue à faire de ces romans des textes polyphoniques : outils linguistiques, mécanismes langagiers, techniques discursives, etc. Ce travail de recherche part de l'hypothèse que la polyphonie est le trait par rapport auquel se définissent tous ceux que Zamir a mobilisés pour la construction de la littérarité de ses textes ; laquelle littérarité - comme cela est indiqué, dans la théorie sémiostylistique dont nous nous servirons, ne peut être déterminée que lors de la réception. C'est ainsi qu'une importance particulière sera accordée à l'analyse du lecteur pour montrer, entre autres objets, quels impacts peut avoir sur son activité de récepteur la combinaison des différentes « voix » convoquées par le scripteur, dont la sienne. Ce travail essaiera d'étudier le processus énonciatif mis en scène dans chaque roman, en analysant les différents rapports entre les actants qui y prennent part : narrateurs, lecteur (et autres destinataires), scripteur et éditeur, tous feront l'objet de l'analyse menée dans cette thèse
This thesis aims to address the question of polyphony as it manifests itself in the novels of the Comorian author, Ali Zamir, which are Anguille sous roche, Mon Étincelle, Dérangé que je suis and Jouissance. Following an approach that is both enunciative and semi-stylistic, we set ourselves the objective of bringing out everything that contributes to making these novels polyphonic texts: linguistic tools, language mechanisms, discursive techniques, etc. This research work starts from the hypothesis that polyphony is the trait in relation to which all those that Zamir mobilized for the construction of the literariness of his texts are defined; which literarity - as indicated, in the semiostylistic theory which we will use, can only be determined during reception. This is how particular importance will be given to the analysis of the reader to show, among other objects, what impacts the combination of the different “voices” summoned by the writer, including his own, can have on his activity as a receiver. This work will attempt to study the enunciative process staged in each novel, by analyzing the different relationships between the actors who take part in it: narrators, reader (and other recipients), writer and editor, all will be the subject of the analysis carried out in this thesis

Les concepts de topos, graphè, éthos et pathos contribuent activement à marquer la singularité d’une œuvre poétique, en l’occurrence, dans le cadre de notre thèse, celle de Louis Aragon (1897- 1982).Aragon fut l’inspirateur de compositeurs et d’interprètes comme « Kosma, Douai, Ferré, Ferrat, Brassens, Claveau, Montand, Trenet, Béart, Morelli, Martin, Ogeret ». Il déclare même qu’il aime qu’on lise ses poèmes mais préfère qu’on les chante. Outre l’importance de la dimension visuelle, la composante sonore et rythmique s’avère elle aussi capitale dans la perception et la réception de la poésie d’Aragon. C’est la raison pour laquelle nous avons opté dans notre thèse pour une étude analytique sémiostylistique et lexico-sémantique de l’œuvre poétique aragonienne.La sémiostylistique est « l’étude du fonctionnement sémiotique du style d’un texte ». En nous inspirant des travaux de G. Molinié, nous avons tenté d’analyser le « conglomérat lexico-syntactico-rhétorico-thématique » qui caractérise la poésie aragonienne en tentant d’ « apprécier la littérarité » des « segments occurrents, et [de] détecter leur spécificité ». Cela nous a permis de poser la question des conditions de la littérarité, de sa mesure, de sa valeur à réception et donc de l’effet de l’art à travers des procédés d’unité ou, au contraire, de subversion
The concepts topos, graph, ethos and pathos actively contribute to highlight the singularity of a poetic work, such as that of Louis Aragon (1897-1982), the object of study of the present thesis. Aragon inspired many composers and singers such as "Kosma, Douai, Shoed, Ferrat, Brassens, Archstone, Montand, Trenet, Béart, Morelli, Martin, Ogeret".He even declares that he likes that his poems to be read but prefers are sung. Apart from the importance of the visual dimension, the sound and rhythmic components are also capital in the perception and the reception of the poetry of Aragon. This is why I opted in the present thesis for a semiostylistic and lexico-semantic analytical study of Aragon’s works of poetry. Semiostylistics is "the study of the semiotic operation of the style of a given text". Inspired by the works of G. Molinié, I tried to analyse the "conglomerate of lexico-syntactic, rhetorical and thematic characteristics" of Aragon’s poetry while trying "to appreciate the literariness" of the "occurring segments, and to detect their specificity" which enabled me to explore the conditions of the literary value, its measurement, its value at reception and, thus, the effect of art through the processes of unity or, on the contrary, subversion
