The scientific community members tend to acknowledge that scientific achievements in educational sciences are much slower compared to other areas. However, it is encouraging that in 2014 responding to the challenges relevant to the system of education, the young researchers of Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences searched for and substantiated solutions to a number of problems employing their original scientific research.
In the Committee of Joint Doctoral Studies (Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences, Kaunas University of Technology, Šiauliai University and Lithuanian Sports University) Kęstutis Trakšelys defended his doctoral thesis on the theme: “Education accessibility within the context of the transformation of Lithuanian society (1990–2010)”. The Committee of the Defence Council consisted of the representatives-researchers from the Joint Doctoral Committee and Prof. Dr. Habil. Alicja Šerlong, Director of the Institute of Pedagogy of Wroclaw University (Poland). All the members of the Doctoral Defence Council unanimously emphasized that the emerging processes of transformations in the global world impose specific tasks on the system of education and oblige the school to organize the process of (self-) education in such a way, which satisfies needs of learners, modern society and the epoch. Therefore, the author of the thesis analyzed an urgent research problem identifying links between social transformations and changes in the system of education from the perspective of accessibility, while solving the problem of accessibility of education in the context of social transformations during the period, which was particularly challenging to the system of education in Lithuania (1990–2010).
All the members of the Dissertation Defence Council and opponents considered the doctoral thesis “The development of creative writing skills of primary school pupils using interactive whiteboard” by Agnė Saylik as one of the first works in Lithuania, which focuses on development of primary learners’ creative writing skills employing information and communication technologies. The members of the Committee highly evaluated the creativity of the author, i.e., her ability to create original ideas, make insights, manage the collected information, to employ a variety of methods, to cope with a big sample of respondents, to process the data in a reliable way, etc.
The members of the Dissertation Defence Council and opponents of the doctoral thesis “Expression and development of the learning to learn competence of the adults improving their qualification” written by Vilija Lukošūnienė unanimously recognized the relevance and particular innovative character of the thesis, which is said to be timely and answering the urgent challenges of today: ability to approach the competence of learning to learn through the prism of multidimensionality, autonomous learning is analyzed, internal and external factors are singled out, which result in the competence of learning to learn, the hypothetic model for development of the adults’ competence of learning to learn was designed.
Analyzing the theme “Developing entrepreneurial capacities of pupils in 9th–12th forms applying coaching in technology lessons” and being a professional teacher-practitioner, Oksana Kietavičienė perceived technological education as a continuous process and understood the necessity to integrate teacher’s and learner’s creation as well as their creative ideas and to apply them in practical pedagogical activities. The thesis was evaluated as a timely, relevant and significant scientific study, which enriches educational powers of all the social sciences and educational science in particular, targeting at nurturance of an initiator and a responsible personality, who is capable of creation, rather than on development of an executor.
Kristina Viršulienė used the time of her doctoral studies for scientifi research on pedagogical communication and her efforts were finalized by the written doctoral thesis “Student-teachers’ instructional communication skills and their development”. The Chairperson of the Dissertation Defence Council pointed out that the relevance of the theme is obvious as education is a focused development of individual’s powers on the basis of the created interaction. Pedagogical communication is a basic component of the latter and an essential area of teacher’s professional activity. Empirical testing of efficiency of the programme of educational project is one of the main advantages of this doctoral thesis and this is a new contribution to the treasure trove of the educational science.
In his defended doctoral thesis “Pedagogical substantiation of social educator’s educational environment enriched with information and communication technologies”, Rokas Gulbinas theoretically and empirically substantiated the educational environment of a special needs teacher enriched with information and communication technologies (ICT) as a prerequisite for fulfilment of special needs teacher’s functions at new quality level. This is a particularly significant empiric study, which contributed to designing of the hypothetic model of special needs teacher’s activity in the educational environment enriched with ICT, which is relevant not only as the construct of development of methodology of quantitative research but also as a model for improvement of special needs teacher’s activity under changing technological conditions.
Giedrė Misiūnienė wrote the doctoral thesis “Modelling of socio-educational activities of multifunctional center in rural (territorial) community”, which aimed to substantiate the hypothetic model of socio-educational activity of multifunctional center in rural territorial community. The Dissertation Defence Council highly evaluated the capability and commitment of the young researcher to addressing severe problems of our time, whereof scientific research, substantiation, forecasting as well as strengthening of positive socio-educational activities in rural communities and their dissemination may not only help an individual and the society but also eliminate illiteracy, exclusion and decline in value-based principles. The initiative of the author of the thesis and her academic supervisor to implement one of the fundamental goals of Dr. M. Lukšienė, i.e, to expand the network of rural and basic schools (10 forms), their activity and, thus, to enhance the national identity, culture and the image of the state, is of particular value. This objective is also outlined in the National Education Strategy for 2013–2022; therefore, the scientific interest of the young researcher to model the emerging multifunctional centers is particularly timely and significant. This is the first unique research of such kind in the country.
All the doctoral theses discussed above were defended in Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences in 2014 and their authors were conferred the degree of doctor of Social Sciences (Educational Science (07S)).

The 2022 4th International Conference on Material Science, Environment Science and Computer Science (MSESCS 2022) is traditionally held in the Guangzhou, China. The organizing committee sincerely hopes that the conference helped to attract young scientists to solve urgent scientific problems. It is one of the leading international conferences for presenting novel and fundamental advances in the fields of material science, environment science and computer science. The conference was held online during September 10-11, 2022 due to the pandemic, and more than 60 people attended the meeting.
The idea of MSESCS 2022 is for the scientists, scholars, engineers and students from the universities all around the world and the industry to present ongoing research activities, and hence to foster research relations between the universities and the industry. This conference is expected to establish further research collaboration and define the platform for the future research direction.
MSESCS 2022 covers a variety of topics related to planning, design, operation, management and maintenance of materials and computing engineering. This conference provides opportunities for the delegates to exchange new ideas and application experiences face to face, to establish business or research relations and to find global partners for future collaboration. The proceedings contain more than 40 papers grouped by topics.

Astronomy is an important science in understanding a human environment. However, it is thought by most politicians, economists, and members of the public that astronomy is a pure science having no contribution to daily human activities except a few matters relating to time. The Japanese government is studying a reorganisation of our school system to have 5 school days per week, instead of 6 days per week, and this July its committee made a recommendation to reduce school hours for science and set up new courses for practical computers and environmental science. I currently made a proposal. It is very difficult for most of the school pupils, who will have non-scientific jobs, to understand science courses currently taught in school, because each science is taught independently from the other sciences. Therefore, their knowledge of sciences obtained during their school period does not greatly help their understanding of global environmental problems.

The economic activities of humans are becoming more and more intensive, resulting in the contamination of the biosphere with chemicals of various origins. As a result, the quality of the environment, which is necessary to ensure the normal survival of various organisms, is deteriorating significantly. There is therefore a need to address these issues in a proactive manner. In order to reduce negative impacts on nature, continuous monitoring of the biosphere is necessary, which requires specialized information and measurement systems. It also requires taking the necessary measures to ensure that the environment is properly managed in the future. In 1971, the Scientific Committee on Environmental Problems of the International Scientific Coalition (ISC) first identified the need for environmental monitoring on a global scale. Monitoring refers to a system of monitoring the state of the environment that includes three main activities: monitoring the environment, identifying potential changes, and minimizing and regulating changes.

IntroductionPolice officers are frequently exposed to potentially traumatic events at work that increases risk of developing mental health problems, in particular post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Individual and organisational factors may influence the detrimental effects of cumulative exposure to traumatic events. Occupational stress and lack of organisational support are associated with increased risk of PTSD among police officers. The Are You All right? (AYA) project is a prospective cohort study investigating the cumulative effect of traumatic events at work on mental health problems and absenteeism among police officers. The study also investigates whether potential risk and protective factors modify the association of traumatic events at work with mental health problems and absenteeism.Method and analysisThe AYA-study includes the entire Danish police force. Prospective survey data are collected over a 3-year period beginning in the spring of 2021. Electronic surveys are sent out at baseline with 1-year, 2-year and 3-year follow-up. Further, short surveys are sent out every third month, covering exposure to traumatic events and current mental health status. The survey data are paired with workplace register data on sickness absence. Register data on sickness absence cover the period from 2020 to 2025.Ethics and disseminationThis study was presented for evaluation at the National Ethics Committee in Denmark (reference number: 20202000-216), but according to Danish legislation, survey studies do not require approval by official Danish scientific or ethical committees. Participation in the project is based on informed consent, and data are handled in accordance with the Danish data legislation (journal number: 20/41457). Results are published in scientific journals and disseminated at international conferences.

Aim. The presented study aims to analyze the problems of identifying risks in infrastructure projects with state participation through the example of the Moscow – St. Petersburg high-speed railway construction project.Tasks. The authors find ways to identify potential risks at an early stage of the project, which should serve as a basis for building a risk management system that corresponds to common international and domestic practices.Methods. This study uses general scientific methods of cognition to examine the problems of identifying risks of infrastructure projects with state participation in various aspects. Results. As a result of the study, it is proposed to view the state as a single commissioner of infrastructure projects, regardless of whether they belong to various independent initiators, and to organize a centralized risk management committee in accordance with best international practices. This would provide a unified approach for the implementation of infrastructure projects and create a natural environment for the rapid exchange of information and experience, thus ensuring more effective management of subsequent projects.Conclusions. The authors focus on the simultaneous diversity and repeatability of risks arising during project implementation and conclude that it is necessary to establish centralized assessment of most risks with proper organization of management processes.

IntroductionHealthcare professionals are particularly at risk of developing numerous physical and psychological health problems. The experiences of emotional burden associated with providing healthcare, notably care-related regret, have been associated with these health problems, but only using cross-sectional data so far. Evidence of a causal impact of regret has not been assessed. The Impact of CAre-related Regret Upon Sleep (ICARUS) study is the first prospective and international cohort study established to examine how newly practising healthcare professionals adapt to their challenging job by assessing the impact of care-related regret on sleep and job quitting.Method and analysisThe ICARUS cohort study will include newly practising healthcare professionals working in acute care hospitals and clinics recruited between May 2017 and November 2019. Data collection, which will begin as soon as the participant starts working with patients, will consist of a 1-year weekly assessment using a secure web survey. Follow-up data will be collected at 6, 12, 18 and 24 months after the end of the first year. We will collect detailed information on the experience of care-related regret (ie, highest regret intensity, accumulation of regrets and coping strategies related to regrets), sleep problems and job quitting. Moreover, quality of life, health status and burnout will be assessed during the follow-up. Several confounders factors, including sociodemographic characteristics, personality, night shifts and work environment characteristics, will be assessed.Ethics and disseminationThe study was approved by the Ethics Committee of Geneva Canton, Switzerland (CCER2016-02041), the Ethics Committee of London South Bank University (HSCSEP/17/06) and the University Research Ethics Committee of Bedfordshire (UREC106). Other study centres deemed local ethical approval unnecessary since the main ethics committee (Geneva) had already accepted the project. Results will be published in relevant scientific journals and be disseminated in international conferences. Fully anonymised data and questionnaires will be freely accessible to everyone (scientists and general public).

Against the background that ecological environment quality has become a hot research topic in recent years, ecological environment quality assessment has emerged as an emerging discipline. By adopting scientific methods, it objectively and quantitatively reveals the real situation of ecological environment quality, and is committed to providing support basis for environmental protection and comprehensive prevention and control. Therefore, how to develop a reasonable eco-environmental quality assessment system has become the focus of attention. Based on this, this paper summarizes the research results in this field at home and abroad, and discusses and illustrates the main existing evaluation methods and evaluation models through horizontal and vertical analysis. The development status of ecological environment quality evaluation research field and the application characteristics of different evaluation methods are analyzed, some problems in theoretical innovation, model construction and application of conclusions are discussed, and the development trend of ecological environment quality evaluation research is proposed based on this.

The article explains the concept of settlement based on scientific and theoretical concepts and current legislation. The author has developed his own independent approach to the division of settlements into species. The legal description and nature of the settlements are also revealed. The article examines the main environmental problems in cities, the solution of which is considered in the framework of the new UN Urban Development Program (Habitat III). The author pays special attention to ensuring the quality of the environment in settlements, strict adherence to environmental standards and thus ensuring the rights of individual to a comfortable environment. At the same time, the need to ensure the harmony of ecological, economic and social aspects of urban development as one of the important conditions for sustainable development is scientifically justified. The author scientifically and legally analyzes the issues of environmentalization of production, industry, construction, acoustic impact in settlements, environmental and legal requirements for the protection of atmospheric air, compliance with sanitary norms related to water resources and public health. The article substantiates the need for the State Committee for Ecology and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Uzbekistan to introduce a procedure for conducting an «environmental rating» of cities with the broad involvement of the public. Based on the research conducted on the topic, conclusions of scientific and practical significance have been developed.

We critically examine the 'Bioethics & Biosafety Act'(Act No. 7150), gone into effect in January 2005, and propose the directions to be considered for the amendment of this Act. This Act is the first comprehensive law in bioethics in Korea. But this Act has serious problems with respect to the dignity of human life. 1. The legislation of this Act was in such a hurry that it failed to offer sufficient time for debating controversial issues. 2. The purpose of the Act, 'creating environment that enables the development of life science', is inappropriate. The purpose of the Act must guarantee and protect the human dignity in life science, instead 3. With regard to National Bioethics Committee, there are problems of composition. The number of government minister should be reduced. The majority of the Committee members should come from the outside of the government. 4. Concerning Institutional Review Board, the total number of non-medical/scientific members and external members should count at least one-fifth of the entire committee. 5. The ban on human cloning should read to include the prohibition on the somatic cell nucleus transfer. 6. The ban on the transfer of embryos between different species should include the ban on the transfer of a human somatic cell nucleus to a an animal egg from which nucleus was removed. 7. 'Embryo Production Research'(Chapter 3) should be completely amended or eliminated. Because human embryo is not a mere cell but an early stage of human life, the research destroying human embryo should to be banned. 8. Some articles related to 'DNA testing', 'Protection and Use of Genetic Information', and 'Punishment' need to be specified or amended. 9. We propose the article on 'Support for Adult Stem Cell Research' to be amended: 'The national and local governments should prioritize financial support for adult stem cell research.' 10. The interim measures on remaining embryo research and embryonic stem cell research listed in 'Additional Provisions' should to be deleted.

The kingdom of Morocco has a unique place among other Islamic states. Because the king of the country, besides his political duty, also carries out the presidency of the Supreme Scientific Council. This council is the only official authority in the Kingdom of Morocco that has the authority to issue fatwa, and it tries to find solutions to the current legal issues asked to it through its fatwas based on the Malikî sect.
The duties and working principles of the Supreme Scientific Council under the Ministry of Foundations and Islamic Affairs are regulated through a series of laws. The purpose of these regulations is to protect moral values and religious principles and to carry out solution-oriented studies towards current problems in the religious field. These regulations accelerated and gained new dimensions, especially after the terrorist attacks in the city of Dâru'l-Beyza (Casablanca).
The Supreme Scientific Council published the book "Fatwas of the Scientific Committee Responsible for Fatwa", which contains 52 answers selected among the fatwas / fiqh opinions published between 2004 and 2012, regarding the cases of general issues. The fatwa subjects in the book show the diversity of questions posed to the Council and current issues related to the problems of life, as well as the importance of this Council in the declaration of religious decrees on various religious current issues. In addition, question and answer texts provide the opportunity to evaluate the general character and different dimensions of the major social problems.
In order to understand the importance of this Counsil in the monitoring fatwas and in the regulation of the religious field in Morocco, it is necessary to work on it from various angles. In this study, the institutional structure of the Supreme Scientific Council, the general evaluation of the fatwa book mentioned above, and how the assembly exists in the field of fatwa based on this book are discussed. In addition, it is also discussed what kind of institutional role this council plays in dealing with the problems of modern life.

The article deals with the initiatives of the CMEA member states in the field of environmental protection. The holding of the UN conference on the environment in Stockholm in 1972 actualized the environmental agenda both in the world and within the socialist camp. In parallel with the preparations for the UN conference in 1972, the journal “Problems of Peace and Socialism” held an international symposium “Marxism-Leninism and the Problems of Environmental Conservation”. This event was designed to develop a common point of view for communist parties on environmental protection. In 1976, an international meeting on environmental protection was held at the CMEA Secretariat. The meeting was organized by the Institute of Economics of the World Socialist System of the USSR Academy of Sciences and the Committee on Scientific and Technical Cooperation of CMEA. The main issues of the meeting were related to the state policy on environmental protection and use of natural resources in the CMEA member countries. Thus it can be stated that in the CMEA countries, as well as all over the world, since the 1970s the attention to environmental issues began to grow. At the same time, environmental rhetoric was often in conflict with the current objectives of the economies of the CMEA countries. Although the official discourse was dominated by the idea of aspirations for the future, the leaders preferred to solve the problems of the current moment.

Abstract An objective of the equine science program at Penn State is to provide the training and knowledge students need to solve problems in their lives and careers. The Equine Research Team at Penn State (PSERT) is a novel approach to meeting this objective, inspired by Dr. Max Kleiber’s “Tracer Team”, a group of faculty and graduate students that successfully studied kinetics of phosphorus and calcium metabolism in dairy cows at the University of California, Davis in the 1950s and 60s. The team allows us to address several objectives that are not easily approached using more traditional teaching environments found in the classroom or laboratory. These include 1) satisfying the demand for research experience from a large number of students, who come to research with an enormous range of ability and enthusiasm, 2) providing the hand on practice utilizing the scientific method to solve problems in the equine industry, 3) building a sense of personal responsibility and simultaneously cooperation by approaching research as a team, 4) creating an environment of academic and creative achievement outside the traditional grading system, and 5) blurring the lines that traditionally separate academic and social life at a university to create an environment much closer to what students will experience as graduates. In spring 2008, 10 undergraduate students sought formal research experience opportunities in the area of equine science. Students were organized into a team that met biweekly. Project leaders registered for independent study course credits and conducted 3 research studies in yr 1, while the rest of the team participated as volunteers. Fourteen years later, the team is still an important student organization with between 40 to 60 members on an annual basis. Over the years, the team has traveled to universities and important equine industry locations throughout the United States. Members have conceived, conducted, analyzed and presented research studies on a wide range of topics within the sphere of equine science. The team has two faculty advisors, an executive committee analogous to most student organizations, a group of research project leaders, and approximately 60 dues paying student members. The biweekly meeting is organized and led by the executive committee and generally contains the following components: update of activities, seminar provided by an outside speaker from industry or academia who has expertise in the area of equine research, presentation by one of the research project leaders, and group discussion of the project, planning of future research projects. This Equine Research Team has been and continues to be a model that can be utilized by others to successfully facilitate undergraduate student engagement in research.

Nowadays, a large amount and variety of plastic is being produced and consumed by human beings on an enormous scale. Microplastics and nanoplastics (MNPLs) have become ubiquitous since they can be found in many ecosystem components. Plastic particles can be found in soil, water, and air. The routes of human exposure are numerous, mainly involving ingestion and inhalation. Once ingested, these particles interact with the gastrointestinal tract and digestive fluids. They can adsorb substances such as additives, heavy metals, proteins, or even microorganisms on their surface, which can cause toxicity. During inhalation, they can be inhaled according to their respective sizes. Studies have reported that exposure to MNPLs can cause damage to the respiratory tract, creating problems such as bronchitis, asthma, fibrosis, and pneumothorax. The reports of boards and committees indicate that there is little data published and available on the toxicity of MNPLs as well as the exposure levels in humans. Despite the well-established concept of MNPLs, their characteristics, and presence in the environment, little is known about their real effects on human health and the environment.

Ранее проводимые научные изыскания показали масштабность освещаемой проблематики. В свою очередь, в зависимости от субъекта, разрешающего возникшую проблему, можно выделить проблемы, разрешаемые государственными и муниципальными органами власти (например, недостаточность и несвоевременность проверок, проводимых в отношении образовательных организаций по вопросам обеспечения безопасности образовательного процесса); проблемы, разрешаемые образовательными организациями и педагогами (например, труднодоступность получения дополнительного профессионального образования или повышения квалификации педагогами, работающими в отдаленных территориях); проблемы, разрешаемые населением (например, правовая неграмотность населения). Для каждого из освещенных видов проблем предложены механизмы их нивелирования.Выводы и заключения: описание и раскрытие автором способов решения проблем безопасности образовательной среды позволяет сделать вывод о том, что настоящая работа обладает научным потенциалом, которым могут воспользоваться соответствующие субъекты, занимающиеся разработкой государственных программ по обеспечению безопасности образовательной среды. Introduction:currently, the education sector, more than ever, needs protection and security from various negative phenomena, often of a criminal nature. This is confirmed by the recent tragic case of school shooting, which occurred in May 2021 in Kazan, when a schoolboy committed a mass murder of students and teachers. Previously conducted scientific research has shown the scale of the covered issues. In this article, the author addresses the study of methods and mechanisms for solving some problems of the security of the educational environment.Materials and methods: the normative basis of the study consists of legal acts at the federal level, for example, the Constitution of the Russian Federation, letter № 07-3735 of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation dated November 13, 2015 “On the direction of methodological recommendations”, and at the regional level, for example, Resolution № 38/33-ZS of the Legislative Assembly of the Irkutsk Region dated May 18, 2016 “On the report of the Commissioner for Children’s Rights in the Irkutsk Region on the observance of children’s rights”. The methodological basis of the research is expressed in the general dialectical method of scientific cognition, which is characterized by its universality. The research also uses methods of logical deduction, induction, cognitive methods, comparison, analysis, generalization and description.The results of the study allowed us to turn to the study of methods and mechanisms for solving some problems of the security of the educational environment. Depending on the possibility of solving the problem, all the negative factors affecting the education system, the author divides solvable problems (for example, the lack of teaching staff) and unsolvable problems (for example, the inability to prevent the impact of all threats to the security of the educational environment). In turn, depending on the subject solving the problem, it is possible to distinguish problems solved by state and municipal authorities (for example, insufficient and untimely inspections conducted in relation to educational organizations on issues of ensuring the safety of the educational process); problems solved by educational organizations and teachers (for example, the difficulty of obtaining additional professional education or advanced training by teachers working in remote territories); problems solved by the population (for example, legal illiteracy of the population). Mechanisms of their leveling are proposed for each of the highlighted types of problems.Findings and conclusions: the author’s description and disclosure of ways to solve the problems of the security of the educational environment allows us to conclude that this work has scientific potential, which can be used by the relevant subjects involved in the development of state programs to ensure the security of the educational environment.

PURPOSE The purpose of this study was to investigate the current injury status and traits, including damage area, cause of damage based on the situation, and type of occurrence by age group for middle and high schools, university, and professional athletes, in record competition sports (swimming, track and field, and weightlifting). METHODS The study included 503 athletes enrolled in the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee in 2020, and an online survey was conducted using the R statistical program. RESULTS Approximately 38.4% athletes suffered injuries with weightlifting (0.81 times at university) and weightlifting (7.02 times at university) during training. The lower extremities were the most affected areas in all age groups (53.8% in middle school, 48.6% in high school, 44.4% in university, and 47.4% in professional). The causes of damage found to occur most frequently were ‘lack of physical strength, overuse or lack of rest, and recurrence’ and external factors, including ‘facility programs and weather problems.’ The results showed that internal factors during training were mostly associated with ‘overuse or lack of rest and excessive attempts at skills’, while external factors were found to occur in ‘weather problems’. According to the classification of each event, the top priority of frequent damage according to the damaged area was skin bleeding of the head in swimming and muscle inflammation in the torso and upper and lower extremities. Track and field resulted in muscle inflammation in the head, torso, and upper and lower extremities. Weightlifting caused damage to the head and torso, resulted in spinal diseases (disc, spinal stenosis, etc.), and muscle inflammation in the upper and lower extremities. CONCLUSIONS This study highlighted changes in the training environment and training environment, including level-specific physical training, reinforcement programs, scientific access to specific skills, sufficient rest and recovery, and continuous improvement of facilities and equipment.

Введение. Автором рассмотрены особенности складывающейся судебной практики при назначении мер уголовно-правового характера в отношении лиц, совершивших экологические преступления. На основе аналитических сведений Судебного департамента Верховного Суда Российской Федерации представлена тенденция использования правового института в виде судебного штрафа за совершения преступных деяний в области экологической безопасности. Материалы и методы. В процессе публикации в основном применялись научные методы познания в виде анализа и сравнения исследуемой автором тематики изложенного материала. Исследование российской правовой политики в сфере обеспечения экологической безопасности проведено на основе сочетания общенаучных и частнонаучных методов, включая формально -логический, диалектический, формально-юридический, сравнительно-правовой, статистический методы научного познания. Результаты исследования. Сформулированы выводы относительно ключевых направлений реализации современной правовой политики России; обозначены цели, приоритеты и задачи в сфере обеспечения экологической безопасности; определены направления обновления норм российского уголовного закона . Выводы и заключения. На основании выводов публикации следует, что при освобождении от уголовной ответственности за преступления экологической направленности не всегда оценивается общественная опасность некоторых составов преступных деяний, а также важность сохранения благоприятной окружающей среды и биоресурсов для будущих поколений. Introduction: the author examines the features of the emerging judicial practice when prescribing measures of a criminal legal nature in relation to persons who have committed environmental crimes. Based on analytical information from the Judicial Department of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, the tendency to use a legal institution in the form of a judicial fine for committing criminal acts in the field of environmental safety is presented. Materials and Methods: in the process of publication mainly applied scientific methods of cognition in the form of analysis and comparison of the author's researched topics of the material presented. The study of the Russian legal policy in the sphere of environmental security was carried out on the basis of a combination of general scientific and particular scientific methods, including formal-logical, dialectical, formal-legal, comparative-legal, statistical methods of scientific cognition. The Results of the Study: conclusions are formulated regarding the key directions of implementation of modern legal policy of Russia; goals, priorities and tasks in the field of environmental security are outlined; directions of updating the norms of the Russian criminal law are determined. Findings and Conclusions: based on the conclusions of the publication, it follows that, while exempting from criminal liability for environmental crimes, the public danger of certain criminal acts is not always assessed, as well as the importance of preserving a favorable environment and bioresources for future generations.

Abstract Radon and thoron are natural radioactive gases that tend to accumulate in the indoor environment and one of their major health implications is the ability to cause lung cancer. Present study comprises the quantification of radon and thoron activity concentrations and measurement of gamma exposure rates in different types of dwellings from the endosulfan-affected area, Panathady, Kasaragod district, Kerala. It is observed that, residents of this area were more prone to various diseases and health problems including cancer. The LR-115 type II solid state nuclear track detectors with single entry pin-hole based dosemeters have been used for the measurement of 222Radon and 220Rn activity concentrations. The assessment of radiological parameters such as annual effective doses and excess lifetime cancer risk has also been done in order to understand the dose level and the associated risk. The estimated values have been compared with the limit recommended by the United Nations Scientific Committee on the Effects of Atomic Radiation (UNSCEAR) and International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP). The average indoor radon and thoron activity concentrations observed in these dwellings were 134 ± 30 and 111 ± 28 Bq m−3, respectively. The estimated activity concentrations, effective doses, etc. are found to be within the recommended level by the UNSCEAR or ICRP.

The aim of this research is to find out how far the management of the principal is improving teacher’s performance and student’s achievement in SMP Negeri Majalengka”. Implementation of this school management includes: input, process, and output. The subjects in the research were the principals, teachers, students, and the school commitees. This research use descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection methods in this research are interview, observation , and documentation. After that proceed with data reduction, data presentation, conclusion/verification. The result of analysis and processing of data can be found that there are several problems with the implementation of headmaster management in SMP Negeri kabupaten Majalengka, they are (1) the students have low spirit in learning, (2) Human resources lack understanding of the education system, (3) Another resources such as device, incomplete equipment, and ineaduquate, (4) the sources of funds owned is very limited, and (5) The acquisition of a number of new students who register and are accepted at school is a decrease. Problem solving efforts related to resources , they are (1) Given the guidance to the students and an intensive approach to parents to their children become more active in learning in and out of school, (2) Ask the teacher to allowed the scientific forums, (3) Maximize the function and role of resources by using them as best as possible, (4)Submitba fuding proposal to the goverment or submit this issue to the school commitee to get a solution related to school funding, and (5) Conduct in depth studies on the decline in the number of new students who register and are accepted into the school. The implementation of the management of principals in SMP Negeri kabupaten majalengka, they are (1) the formation of a school committee , (2) Institutionally the management of the principal has not been able to increase the trust and interest of the community, thus impacting the decline in the number of new students, and (3) Be able to improve the security of the school environment. The result of this research need to be reviewed and discussed in more depth, in order to produce the best discovery.

ArgumentUsing the notion of styles of knowledge we refer to the ways diverse scientific communities claim to produce true knowledge, their understandings regarding the attitudes and values that scientists should have in order to grasp natural and social reality, and the practices and technologies developed within such styles. This paper analyzes scientific and medical enterprises that explored the relationship between environment, population, and society in Colombia between 1850 and 1920. We argue that similar styles of knowledge production were shared in human geography, medical geography, and climatic physiology at the mid-nineteenth century; and that some physicians working in bacteriology and physiology since the 1880s established epistemic boundaries between their work and earlier scientific activities, while others found these distinctions irrelevant. However, the historical actors committed to any of the styles of knowledge production explored in this article agreed on the local specificity of their objects of inquiry, therefore questioning European science. These styles of knowledge production also shaped different ways of perceiving and addressing national problems. Hence, this article is a contribution to the recent literature on both historical epistemology and social and cultural history of science and medicine.

The actual problems of criminal law and criminalistics with which law enforcement agencies in Arctic have been facing are concerned in the present article. Successful development of Arctic region demands struggling against criminality affected by special climate, geographic, ethnic, social, legal and another factors. These circumstances roughly embarrass the combating with criminality in Arctic, taking into account sparse population of the region, remote location of communities from organs of state power, ingenious people alcohol abusing, negative affecting of harsh arctic conditions on mental health of inhabiting person. Being one of the richest recourse region all over the world, Arctic has becoming the stage of competition between arctic states. Upkeeping of order on Russian arctic territory is very important aim under these circumstances. In the article legal regiment of Arctic is concerned and characteristic of Arctic social and economy situation is given. The authors demonstrate structure of Arctic criminality and crimes committed on this territory are analyzed. Special attention is centered on analyzing of ecological crimes committed in Arctic taking into account wealthy of local fauna and environment. The problems of law enforcement criminalistics providing also are attentively analyzed, for example, issues of criminalistics methodic for crime investigation, usage of the new technic tools and devises of criminalistics, interconnection between investigators and detectives. Such interconnection is embarrassed by remote locations islands from mainland. The article is grounded on extensive materials from empiric, scientific and law origins related to criminality existing in the different Arctic countries (USA, Canada, Russia, Scandinavian states). This article is the first one discussing various problems of combatting criminality in Arctic region. In the process of preparing the article authors have come to conclusion that Arctic crimes there committed poses special sort of criminality - “frozen” criminality. Such sort provided by special factors must be explored in the future in order to get success while combating the criminality in Arctic.

It should be mentioned that any particular traffic accident is most often a concurrence of a number of causes and factors associated with any of the subsystems “Driver – Car – Road – Environment”. As evidenced by judicial practice, crimes under Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation are traditionally qualified by courts as committed in a careless form of guilt in the form of criminal flippancy. However, there may exist doubts about the correct assessment of the mental element in these crimes. The main question is if these crimes were intentional. The relevance of the study is conditional upon the need to develop a system of prevention of road traffic injuries and improve the effectiveness of measures to prevent them. The purpose of the study is to analyze theoretical problems and the results of empirical observation for road safety. This article is devoted to the relevant problem of accurate determination of the form of guilt in violation by the person driving the vehicle of road traffic regulations on the example of the analysis of the crime under Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Violation of road traffic regulations and the rules of operation of vehicles.” In the preparation of the article, general scientific methods (dialectical, logical, socio-scientific method, method of system analysis) and interdisciplinary methods (sociological, statistical, method of the research of specific facts) were used. The novelty of the study is in an attempt to deeply analyze and interpret the practical application of the provisions of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, identify the problem of accurate determination of the form of the guilt of the mentioned act committed by the person driving the vehicle when violating road traffic regulations or the rules operation of vehicles.

Cognition and systematic study of the essence of innovation processes remain extremely relevant scientific and applied problems. The article deals with state and prospects for the innovative entrepreneurship development in Ukraine compared with the countries of innovation enclave to search for catalysts for its activation. The basis of the generalizations and conclusions were the works of domestic and foreign scientists, normative-legislative acts, public reports and plans for the innovative development of Ukraine in various time intervals, data of the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine, Eurostat, Startup Ranking and Global Innovation Index. In course of the research the author applied a wide range of general scientific and special methods of cognition. To perform a transformational analysis of the innovative entrepreneurship development, the ADIE 7D descriptive model is proposed, which is based on the following seven descriptors: (i) GDP science intensity; (ii) venture financing of innovation activity; (iii) share of enterprises engaged in innovations; (iv) the number of registered patents; (v) implementation of innovation projects (start-ups); (vi) ecosystem of innovative entrepreneurship; (vii) Global Innovation Index. The model allows identifying the stimulants and destimulators of influence on the process of creating a favorable environment of innovative activity. The following should be noted among the key stimulators of the innovative entrepreneurship development: significant innovation potential, entrepreneurial enthusiasm and creativity of innovators. However, the lack of adequate funding and a harmonized ecosystem of innovative entrepreneurship is becoming an obstacle to radical changes aimed at the innovative breakthrough of our country. Based on the results of the analysis, the author presents a strategic map of innovative entrepreneurship development in Ukraine by descriptors of the proposed model. In the course of the further research it is planned to supplement this ADIE 7D descriptive model by implementing new promising descriptors to deepen analytical procedures.

The newspaper Kultharmeets is an important historical document that reflected the realities of research processes and the socio-political situation in Russian educational institutions in the early 1930s. Dyment presented their scientific and pedagogical views here, students of the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute, who later became famous scientists and writers in Armenia (Gurgen Hovnan, Kazar Ayvazyan and others), were published here. The history of the newspaper Kultharmeets , its problems, features of the organization are investigated, the list of editors is published for the first time. As an empirical material, some previously unexplored archival documents on student media of the Central Archives of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation, the Russian State Archive of Socio-Political History, the Central State Archive of Moscow, the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute named after A.S. Bubnov (minutes of meetings of the university party Committee) were used and introduced into scientific circulation. The analysis of the articles of Kultharmeets contributes to the study of the history of Russian pedagogy and journalism.

In order to better deal with the challenges brought by the changes of the external environment to the ideological and political work of college students and better solve the problems of dogma, lack of operability, and inability to adapt to the changes of the new situation and environment, this topic proposes a student management information system based on the artificial neural network. This method strengthens the construction of the student management system, deeply interprets the connotation and practical needs of ideological and political work in colleges and universities in the new environment under the background of the “Internet+” era, and is committed to further optimizing the strategy of student ideological and political work on the basis of following the principles of innovation, human nature, openness, and ecology of ideological and political work. The results show that the construction of a more scientific student teaching management information system can provide intelligent and digital technical support for the improvement of ideological and political work efficiency and teaching quality and promote the innovative development of ideological and political work in colleges and universities. Therefore, the ideological and political work in colleges and universities should gradually overcome preaching, build new methods to measure students’ achievements and ideological and political arms, actively occupy the dominant power of Internet discourse, and avoid the negative impact of the network by spreading positive energy.

Введение. В представленной статье рассмотрены актуальные проблемы противодействия идеологии экстремизма и терроризма в образовательной среде. Автором проанализированы взгляды авторов, касающиеся данной проблемы. Исследованы состояние и динамика преступлений экстремистской и террористической направленности. Отдельно рассмотрены преступные деяния, связанные с распространением идеологии экстремизма и терроризма. Рассмотрен криминологический портрет личности преступника, указан причинный комплекс совершения указанных преступных деяний, рассмотрены направления их профилактики и предупреждения. Методы и материалы. Нормативно-правовую базу исследования составили Конституция Российской Федерации, федеральные законы, регламентирующие вопросы противодействия экстремизму и терроризму, а также научные работы, в которых исследуется данная проблематика. Методологическую основу работы составил общий диалектический метод научного познания. Также применялись методы логической дедукции и индукции. Наряду с этим использовались познавательные методы и приемы наблюдения, сравнения, анализа, обобщения и описания. Результаты исследованияпозволили рассмотреть и проанализировать проблемные вопросы распространения идеологии экстремизма и терроризма, совершаемой в образовательной среде, а также предложить определенные меры противодействия. Выводы и заключения. Глубокое изучение всех аспектов распространения идеологии экстремизма и терроризма в образовательной среде будет способствовать выработке эффективных и своевременных профилактических мер в данной сфере. Introduction: The presented article considers the actual problems of countering the ideology of extremism and terrorism in the educational environment. The author analyses the views of authors concerning this problem. The state and dynamics of extremist and terrorist offences are studied. Separately considered criminal acts related to the spread of extremism and terrorism ideology. The criminological portrait of the criminal personality is considered, the causal complex of committing these criminal acts is indicated, the directions of their prevention and prevention are considered. Methods and Materials: The normative-legal base of the study was formed by the Constitution of the Russian Federation, federal laws regulating the issues of countering extremism and terrorism, as well as scientific works that explore this issue. The methodological basis of the work was the general dialectical method of scientific cognition. Also methods of logical deduction and induction were used. Along with this, cognitive methods and techniques of observation, comparison, analysis, generalisation and description were used. The Results of the Study: made it possible to consider and analyse the problematic issues of the spread of extremist and terrorist ideology committed in the educational environment, as well as to propose certain countermeasures. Findings and Conclusions: An in-depth study of all aspects of the spread of extremist and terrorist ideology in the educational environment will contribute to the development of effective and timely preventive measures in this area.

Cancer can have a significant impact on one’s life situation, with many patients reporting psychosocial discomfort, worry, anxiety, fear of recurrence, depression, tiredness/fatigue, sleep problems, pain and numerous other problems even long after active medical treatment. Psychosocial support during cancer rehabilitation has proven to be insufficient. In a recent debate article, the scientific committee of CancerRehabFund, Sweden, demands more rehabilitation alternatives for individuals living with cancer. Nature-based treatment is one of the alternatives mentioned as the way forward, but more research is needed. Therefore, we want to evaluate the patient’s experience of a ten-week forest bathing intervention, as an add-on to the standard care, and whether it can improve general health and well-being in women suffering or recovering from gynaecological cancer. The study will run between the autumn of 2022 and until the end of 2023. It is a prospective single-case study, including quantitative and qualitative approaches using validated self-administered instruments (pre–post measurements) and semi-structured interviews (post) on women’s lived experience of the 10-week forest bathing intervention. The quantitative outcome measurements will be the quality of life, fatigue and depression/anxiety. There will also be a questionnaire on perceived sensory dimensions experienced in the forest environment. The study will include 24 participants, divided into four groups of 6 participants. Once a week for ten weeks, the participants will be offered a session of a 2.5-hour stay in the forest with breathing exercises, slow movement, time in silence and privacy and a social gathering to conclude each session. Before and after each session, the participants will be invited to fill in the Profile of their mood state to describe their mood/feelings. There will be three different forest locations with varied forest cover types, i.e., evergreen, deciduous and mistands. Participation in this study will be voluntary, and all results will be anonymously presented on a group level. This paper is a protocol paper describing in detail the venues/forest sites, the forest therapy intervention and the scientific methodological approach for evaluating the ten-week intervention. To our knowledge, this is the first study on forest bathing for cancer survivors in Sweden. The Swedish Ethical Review Authority has approved the study [Dnr 2022-02083-01].

It is indicated that the legal protection of the natural environment, the provision of rational nature management and environmental safety in construction require not only the proper fulfillment by the subject of environmental legal relations of their rights and obligations, but also their protection from violations by other subjects, renewal of rights and legal interests of the participants of this legal relationship, bringing guilty persons to justice. It is legal responsibility that is the institution of environmental legislation that provides a mechanism for the localization and blocking of illegal behavior and stimulates socially useful actions of a person in the construction sector, is a measure of protection of society and its members from offenses, protects the interests of the individual, society and the state, is a form of the state’s response to violation of the established order of social relations.
The article examines scientific views on the problems of violation of environmental norms of construction legislation, presents the formulation of the author’s term violation of ecological norms of construction legislation. It was determined that crimes in the field of violation of construction legislation are socially dangerous, criminally illegal, intentional or negligent actions (actions or inaction) with the use of construction equipment, construction tools, means, sources, methods and circumstances of their implementation, committed by physical, criminal, official, non-official and private persons.
The author comes to the conclusion that crimes in the field of violation of construction legislation should be understood as socially dangerous, criminally illegal, intentional or negligent actions (actions or inaction) with the use of construction equipment, construction tools, means, sources, methods and circumstances of their implementation, committed physical, judicial, official, non-official and private persons (citizens of Ukraine, citizens of foreign countries, stateless persons and those with dual citizenship) who have reached the age of criminal responsibility for these crimes that encroach on relations regarding conditions (relationships), which ensure the existence of a multifunctional balanced system of vital activity of the animal, plant and human world, its protection, rational use and reproduction of such a single system, which includes a person (natural person), which will guarantee a natural environment that is safe for life and health, and in consequence of preparation, construction, operation and dismantling of construction structures cause significant damage to these relations, provided for by specific articles of the Special Part of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, or put them at risk of causing such significant damage.

The problem of infertility remains a global problem of mankind according to WHO and today, infertility affects about 10–25% of couples of reproductive age worldwide, estimates vary from 48 to 186 million. When developing recommendations for the diagnosis and treatment of infertility in 2020, WHO did not revise the definition of infertility given in 2009, together with the International Monitoring Committee on Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ICMART) in the “Glossary of Definitions of Infertility and Treatment of Infertility”, where infertility is considered a disease reproductive system, defined as the inability to achieve clinical pregnancy after 12 months or more of regular unprotected intercourse. The same is the definition of male and female infertility in the International Classification of Diseases (ICD11). Higher rates of infertility are found in less developed countries/regions such as sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, North Africa/Middle East, Central/Eastern Europe and Central Asia. At the same time, the researchers note that geographical differences in the level of infertility are associated with environmental, cultural and social factors. The etiology of infertility has different epidemiological characteristics depending on the region. Purpose: to review foreign scientific literature containing information on the prevalence of infertility in countries around the world, the role of social factors in its formation, and the availability of treatment assistance. Materials and methods: bibliographic, information-analytical methods and methods of comparative analysis. Results: in modern research in the field of studying the social factors of childlessness, special attention is paid to the description and clustering of groups of childless women. The global problem of infertility is associated with adverse physical and mental health outcomes, financial hardship, severe social stigma, increased risk of domestic violence, and marital instability. It has been shown that women with less than secondary education are less likely to seek help for infertility treatment than women with higher education. In high-income countries, immigrant women, uninsured women are less likely to have access to fertility treatment, and they are less informed about their rights, even if they seek treatment at a later age. Findings. Geographic differences in the prevalence of infertility in different countries are largely determined by social factors. The study of social factors of infertility in women showed that infertility is associated with a low quality of life. Although the likelihood of infertility in men and women is the same, and male infertility is responsible for more than half of all childlessness in the world, infertility remains primarily a social burden for women, especially in pronatalist societies. Women from wealthy backgrounds are more likely to have access to quality fertility treatment.

The American Educational Research Association specifies that education research—as a scientific field of study—examines teaching and learning processes that shape educational outcomes across settings and that a learning process takes place throughout a person's life. The complexity of learning and learning environments requires not only a diverse array of research methods but also a community of education researchers committed to exploring critical questions in the education of physical therapists. Although basic science research and clinical research in physical therapy have continued to expand through growth in the numbers of funded physical therapist researchers, the profession still lacks a robust and vibrant community of education researchers. In this perspective article, the American Council of Academic Physical Therapy Task Force on Education Research proposes a compelling rationale for building a much-needed foundation for education research in physical therapy, including a set of recommendations for immediate action.

At the present stage in the domestic scientific environment, the problems of ensuring sustainable development of rural areas are insufficiently studied and require further study. The goal of sustainable development of rural areas is a balanced development of the economic, social and environmental spheres, aimed at ensuring a favorable life of the population. The article considers the economic aspects of the functioning of rural territories of Pavlodar region and provides a comprehensive assessment to solve the problems of socio-economic development of these territories in the current and long-term perspective. As a base of analysis and assessment used statistical data of the official website of the Committee on statistics of MNE of RK, and also empirical observation and informational resources of local Executive bodies region. Based on the results, which identified systemic problems of the rural economy that have a negative impact on the level and quality of life of the rural population. These include, first and foremost, the dominant raw material orientation of the rural economy, low labour productivity, due to the significant moral and physical deterioration of the production-technical base, including the excess of the lifespan of the majority of equipment, as well as the rate of fleet renewal machines relevant regulatory requirements, using a separate are subject obsolete resource-intensive technologies. It is shown positive dynamics of key indicators of agriculture, which developed in the first place, due to government regulation of agriculture and the creation of an enabling environment through the extension of the relevant package of measures of state support aimed at the development of this sector of the national economy. Recommendations aimed at activating the processes of rural economy diversification have been developed. Analysis of the state of domestic beekeeping shows that this market niche in the national economy is not sufficiently developed and this industry has a significant unrealized potential. Significant benefits of the development of the beekeeping industry are shown, which will have a positive impact on strengthening the export positions of non-resource orientation, increasing employment of the rural population, crop yields, solving the problems of degraded agricultural land, etc. The economic feasibility and effectiveness of investment projects in the field of beekeeping development, which simultaneously provide a significant social effect, are justified. For the transition of rural territories to a qualitatively new level of development, based on the conclusions made about the priorities of rural development, the authors justify strategic prospects for further development using the internal mechanism of their functioning, reserves of economic growth and taking into account the specifics and features of administrative-territorial units.

BackgroundAt the early 1990s occupational medicine (OM) was recognized as a specialty in Israel. Fifteen years later after gathering problems and shortcomings of the first curriculum, the Israeli Association of occupational medicine (IAOM) defined the framework for a new curriculum in order to have a modern and better curriculum.MethodsIn the early 2000 an expert committee apointed by the IAOM suggested a new sylabous, based on the scientific literature. The recommendations were sent to all experts in OM in Israel, and other proffesional members like industrial hygienist. We got several responses. Most people suggested additional standards.ResultsThe curiculun includes 54 months of training programme. The characteristics of the new curriculum are: interaction between theory and practice; fields of knowledge, learning process; competencies which are needed; and multidisciplinarity. We added an obligatory walkthroug list of industries. Three of the walkthroug reports consists a part of the final oral examinations.ConclusionsThe aim of the curriculum was to produce a comprhensive aproach in OM competencies. The curiculum was adopted by the Israeli Medical Association and Ministery of Health since 2010.

The electronic evidence has become one of the key components of criminal investigations. The use of digital evidence allows investigating not only criminal offences against the property, environment, etc., but also offences committed during the war and invasion. Since the beginning of the large-scale invasion of Ukraine, the number of pillage cases, which became known from open sources of information, has increased. The purpose of this study was to investigate the problematic issues of using digital evidence in the pillage investigation. The methodological basis was general scientific methods of cognition, namely, scientific abstraction, deduction and induction, extrapolation, and logical generalisation. The paper examines pillage among other war crimes in the context of determining the concept, composition of a crime, and the admissibility of digital evidence during the pillage investigation of this crime. The urgency of solving problematic aspects related to the pillage investigation, primarily in the context of a full-scale war in Ukraine, is substantiated. The pillage is separated from other crimes against property committed under martial law or a state of emergency. The problems of terminology are considered and approaches to the qualification of criminal offences committed under martial law, including shortcomings in law-making, are outlined. It is proposed to amend the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, defining the requirements for electronic evidence during the investigation of pillage. The practical significance of the study lies in the fact that such tools can be used for further research on the use of the digital evidence as a means of proof in the pillage investigation, as part of the development and improvement of legislation in this area

The audit systems and incentive structures must be flexible yet strict enough to allow innovation but prevent rogue operations. Before the disruptions of the 1970s, regulators performed a mostly technical task outside of the political limelight. In recent years however, virtually every country – including those with well-established regulatory authorities and traditions – has been rocked by banking crises. By October 1998, regulators worldwide were committed to the implementation of the 'Core Principles for Effective Banking Supervision' issued in 1997 by the Basle Committee. Similarly, as of March 1999, the 102 signatories of the December 1997 Free Trade in Financial Services Agreement (under the aegis of the World Trade Organization) were expected to liberalize their markets which is directed at literature research. In this case, The author takes two problems based on the description on the background problem. The formulation of the problem is How the Value of Islam in Islam The Era of Globalization and How Globalization Affects Religious Values Islam. With the advent of new forms of interaction, virtual goods and services, a new field for committing offences in the field of virtual assets turnover is emerging. This encourages scientists and law enforcement agencies to actively research this area and develop effective mechanisms to respond to emerging challenges that have not yet been properly reflected in legislation. The purpose of this study was to explore the issue in depth by analysing specific offences related to virtual assets, including but not limited to theft, fraud, corruption, and tax evasion. The methods of scientific cognition employed for the study include analysis of legal regulation, modelling methods, analogies, systemic and structural, comparative legal, as well as methods of scientific abstraction and generalisation. Based on the results of the study, the study identified the main types of offences in the field of virtual assets and unifies them. The study identified the shortcomings in the current legal regulation that contribute to these problems. Proposals were formulated for amendments to the Criminal Code of Ukraine regarding the qualification of new types of offences committed in the field of virtual assets turnover based on research of current trends, international practices, and analysis of the current state of Ukrainian legislation. The study also showed that the available legal instruments often fail to ensure adequate detection and prosecution of new forms of offences, which makes it necessary to reform legislation to adapt to the current dynamic environment. Globalisation is a reason for increasing levels of anxiety, physical fatigue, and psychological problems, which weakens the ability of people to resist encroachment on themselves, especially in the Internet environment – the dominant sphere for communication. The study aims to identify the vectors of interaction between the state and potential victims of crime on the Internet by analysing the activities of the subjects of the direction in countries with different scientific and technical potentials. The study employed statistical methods to collect qualitative and quantitative indicators of the issue under consideration, as well as comparative analysis to compare the elements of state policy in the field of combating cybercrime. The intensity of crimes committed with the help of Internet tools is growing every year and it is primarily due to the growth of opportunities to perform various financial, social and other types of interaction in the online space. However, there is a direct correlation between the number of cybercrimes and the level of scientific and technological development of a country. According to the Global Innovation Index, some of the most innovatively developed countries are the United States of America, the United Kingdom and Japan, where the intensity of scientific progress is several times higher than in less developed countries, for example, in the Central Asian region. The role and place of state bodies concerning the prevention of Internet crime is extremely difficult to overestimate because it is the central and local government that has a leading position in the development of preventive measures to prevent and minimise the phenomenon of victimisation of society in the Internet space. The distinction and understanding of the types and directions of crimes in the online environment is necessary to create an effective mechanism to combat such crimes and to develop effective tools to inculcate a healthy lifestyle to prevent the development of victimisation traits in a person. The COVID-19 pandemic emphasized the need to review our requirements for true guidance and reliability from science and individual, professional, and public health ethics. The aim of this study was to determine the ethical and scientific perspectives of doctors about performing research during the COVID-19 pandemic and to assess anxiety levels about this topic within the framework of the literature. Doctors completed a ‘preliminary survey form’ containing questions determining sociodemographic data and statements about research and ethics during the pandemic and the ‘state and trait anxiety inventories’ in the internet environment. In our study, the alpha value was 0.90 for the state anxiety inventory and 0.70 for the trait anxiety inventory. Of the 398 doctors participating in the study, 45.2% were women and 54.8% were men. Among doctors, 89.7% stated they read articles related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The group of doctors who fully disagreed with the view that it was inappropriate to perform research during the pandemic due to the nature of the disease and transmission risks and who had read more articles than the other groups were found to have statistically significantly higher state anxiety inventory points. The COVID-19 pandemic led to many problems for scientific and ethical concepts. New concerns were added to existing ethical concerns and national and international ethics committees need to work to resolve these concerns.

The purpose of this work is to study threats to environmental safety in the field of crop production, to identify errors and difficulties arising in the process of criminal legal counteraction to them and to develop proposals to resolve these problems. Design/methodology/approach: in the course of the study, general scientific and special methods were used: formal-logical, systematic, comparative-legal, statistical, sociological, document analysis, expert assessments. Findings: non-compliance with the requirements of environmental legislation in the implementation of activities in the field of crop production creates a variety of threats to the environment, harms its individual components. This actualizes the issues of increasing the effectiveness of criminal legal counteraction to environmental crimes Originality/value: particular attention should be paid to improving the practice of applying the norms regulating responsibility for environmental crimes committed in the field of crop production, strict observance of the principles of justice and legality. To do this, it seems necessary to develop methodological recommendations on the qualification of environmental crimes and make appropriate additions to the acts of official interpretation emanating from the highest judicial instances

Multicultural Islamic Education Paradigm is an Islamic teaching that emphasizes tolerance, harmony, moderation, and open dialogue in diversity. The reality of the pluralistic Indonesian nation requires a paradigm that can knit diversity. Multicultural Islamic Education is one means that can understand a diverse society about the importance of mutual understanding and cooperation in managing the sustainability of the coastal environment. In essence, beach tourism is also an instrument for scientific activities, beach tourism has an active role as an educational instrument and a playing media. This study aims to find the implementation of the values ??of Multicultural Islamic Religious Education through edu-ecotourism to support religious education, mediation of horizontal social conflicts. The implementation of these values ??is a strategy for developing the community Paku Lima in Mandaran Hamlet, Pesisir Village, Besuki District, Situbondo Regency. The type of research used is qualitative research with a qualitative approach that is applied using in-depth interviews and group depth interviews. Determination of informants was done by purposive sampling, the number of respondents was 20 people from the association committee and 10 people from the surrounding community. Data were analyzed and analyzed using an interactive model using the theory of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana, namely: (1) data condensation, (2) presentation of data, and (3) drawing conclusions. Based on the results and data analysis, it was concluded that the implementation of PAIM values ??through edu-ecotourism was effectively applied through the community association, especially considering the complexity of problems arising from ethnic diversity and interests between groups. The strategy of developing the association by combining PAIM-oriented education with edu-ecotourism makes the association a vehicle for harmony and also as a mediator in resolving the problem of horizontal conflicts between ethnic communities

IntroductionHigh rates of mental health problems, such as suicidal behaviours, among First Nations youth in Canada are a major public health concern. The Good Behavior Game (GBG) is a school-based intervention that provides a nurturing environment for children and has been shown to promote positive outcomes. PAX Good Behavior Game (PAX GBG) is an adaptation and enhancement of the GBG. While PAX GBG has been implemented in Indigenous communities, little research exists examining the cultural and contextual appropriateness and effectiveness of the intervention in First Nations communities.Methods and analysisThe present paper describes a protocol of the mixed-methods approach guided by an Indigenous ethical engagement model adopted to implement, adapt and evaluate PAX GBG in First Nations communities in Manitoba, Canada. First, implementation outcomes (eg, acceptability, adoption) of PAX GBG will be evaluated using qualitative interviews with teachers, principals and community members from Swampy Cree Tribal Council (SCTC) communities. Second, by linking administrative databases to programme data from schools in 38 First Nations communities, we will compare PAX GBG and control groups to evaluate whether PAX GBG is associated with improved mental health and academic outcomes. Third, the qualitative results will help inform a cultural and contextual adaptation of PAX GBG called First Nations PAX (FN PAX). Fourth, FN PAX will be implemented in a few SCTC communities and evaluated using surveys and qualitative interviews followed by the remaining communities the subsequent year.Ethics and disseminationEthical approval was obtained from the University of Manitoba Health Research Ethics Board and will be obtained from the Health Information Privacy Committee and respective data providers for the administrative database linkages. Dissemination and knowledge translation will include community and stakeholder engagement throughout the research process, reports and presentations for policymakers and community members, presentations at scientific conferences and journal publications.

The subject of research is standardization as one of the forms of technical regulation in the food industry of Ukraine, in particular in the production of milk and milk products, meat and meat products, determination of safety and quality parameters of the specified food raw materials and finished products made from those, as well as installations and equipment for the food industry. The purpose of the study is to analyze the state of standardization in the production of dairy and meat products, highlight the existing problems and possible ways to solve them, as well as outline the role that the Technical Committee for Standardization 140 “Milk, meat and products of their processing” should play in these processes. Methods. During the research, a systematic approach was used to research factual materials, in particular scientific and scientific-practical literature, regulatory legal acts, regulatory documents and the like, abstract-logical approach to the synthesis of research results and the formulation of conclusions. The results of the study. National standards of Ukraine DSTU is the base of the technical regulation in relation to food products and methods of their control. The above also applies to standardization in the field of milk and meat products, which is within the competence scope of the Technical Committee for Standardization 140 “Milk, meat and products of their processing”. Technical Committee 140 carries out significant work to develop new and update existing national standards in accordance with its area of competence, in particular, it has significant success in harmonizing international and European standards. As of January 15, 2021, according to the classification code 67.100 (Milk and milk products) out of 203 standards of the nationwide force, 103 standards (50.7%) were developed by harmonizing the relevant international standards EN, ISO, etc. According to the classification code 67.120 (Meat, meat products and other animal products) – 202 units, 26 units and 14.1 %, respectively, according to the classification code 67.260 (Installations and equipment for the food industry) – 99 units, 86 units and 86.9%, respectively. The issue of attracting extra-budgetary funds for the harmonization of international standards and the implementation of the entire range of works on standardization is urgent. The issue of proper regulatory support for the production and operation of specialized technological equipment for food and processing industry enterprises is relevant, for which it is advisable to combine the domestic traditions of standardization with the priorities of safety and hygiene of machines, as well as ecology, which are in force in international practice. Scope of research results. The results of the studies performed will be used in the field of technical regulation, in particular, national standardization, of milk and milk products, meat and meat products, determination of safety and quality indicators of the specified food raw materials and finished products made from it, as well as installations and equipment for the food industry.
