In today’s era, the connection between science of technology and all aspects of social life is increasingly in-depth. Multimedia technology, particularly in the sphere of education and teaching, demonstrates its tremendous advantages, such as vast teaching resources and the ability to move between various teaching modalities at any moment. To a large extent, all of these have aided the successful execution of China’s education reform. Teachers and students were continually adjusting to the dispersion of conventional roles, resulting in an increase in instructional efficacy. How to improve the significance of multimedia in middle school curriculum development and achieve our academic objectives of "fostering individuals" has now become a contentious issue among academicians. Aiming at the current situation of the development of middle school education management in China, this paper adopts the method of combining questionnaire survey with comparative experiment, proving the advanced nature of multimedia teaching mode. Meanwhile, with the help of questionnaire analysis, the author also understands some middle school students’ real ideas about the application of multimedia technology to the classroom. The experimental results show that multimedia technology is very effective in middle school education management. The classroom quality has been effectively improved, and the enthusiasm of students in class has been improved by about 20%. Furthermore, such an improvement was obtained in only one month of testing, which is quite encouraging. Finally, the researcher provides a thorough review of the research, arguing that using multimedia technology should not only enhance the material’s effectiveness, but also prevent overwhelming the viewers.

In stressing the need to embrace the use of technology in American Schools, Doyle states that educators “can't afford not to use technology” [1]; he goes on to say that the effective use of technology “will transform not just what a school accomplishes, but how it does so.” Despite being the focus of a great deal of attention, such visions are slow to materialize. So how can a school go about achieving an emphasis on technology? One strategy is for the school principals to lead by example. The use of microcomputers for student information management provides such an opportunity. After reviewing the process for selecting the most appropriate software, this article presents the experiences of the first ten Edmonton Public high schools to implement microcomputer based student information management.

The article presents the issues of school environment expertise and discusses the possibilities and prospects of using digital tooling for its assessment in mass educational practice and scientific research. The proposed method of vector modeling of the environment of personality development allows determining the activity of the individual in mastering educational resources in various types of environments. This digital tooling allows school management teams and organizational consultants to conduct management and pedagogical analysis of the current status and complementarity of various system components of school environments with each other, as well as with the school’s mission, and implement their managerial and vocational design; to develop programs for the progression of school organizations based on environment methodology using expert project management technology; to carry out organizational and pedagogical consulting of schools taking into account the “built-in” nature of environments of various levels (the environment of the lesson, class, club, school, and educational complex).

The study of this research uses qualitative research methods. Methods of data collection using interviews, observation and documentation. Interviews were conducted with teachers and students. The results of the study show that governance at the Al Quba Ibtidaiyah madrasah level, Medan is a significant matter, because along with changing times, technology cannot be avoided, so that if there are madrasas that do not keep up with the times, they will be left behind by other schools. What's more, schools are currently the same as competition to get students, so technology is the main source for introducing schools to outsiders.

School management is a sunshade for accomplishing school achievement, improving output and refining the enlightening system at the school level. The adoption of digital technologies in Tanzania is perceived as vital for enhancing efficient managerial function in public secondary schools. However, the implementation of digital technologies in school management appears to be turbulent. This study attempted to explore digitalization in school management: efficacy and attitude in public secondary schools in Rungwe district Mbeya, Tanzania. The study was underpinned by two objectives: to determine the extent to which digital technology is effective in school management in public secondary schools and to examine the attitude of public secondary schools towards the use of digital technology in school management. This study adopted concurrent mixed research methods. Systematic and purposive sampling techniques were adopted to select 180 participants, consisting of 160 teachers and 20 heads of schools. Questionnaires, interview guides and observation methods were employed to gather information from the participants. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics with the aid of Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 21 and qualitative data were systematized into themes and evaluated thematically. The findings indicated that to a large extent, digital technology has been efficacious in communication, finance, updating school information, student registration, transfer of information, and record-keeping. It was also revealed that public secondary schools perceive digitalization in school management as a complicated issue due to low networking, inadequate technical know-how, and inadequate technical support and complicated digital systems. The study recommended that the government should commit to up-to-date ICT policy, effectively building digital skills for the school leaders, integrating digital learning into secondary education programs, private sector engagement in digital technologies ventures in schools, and enhancing school networking infrastructures.

The Philippines is the third most disaster prone country in the world, mainly due to its location and geographical context (Jha, 2018). This descriptive study ascertained the level of preparedness and resiliency in disaster management among the twenty - three (23) island schools-communities in the Municipality of Concepcion, Province of Iloilo, Philippines. Likewise, it determined the gaps and needs in disaster preparedness and resiliency building among the local residents. Results revealed that as an entire group and whether classified as to the type of school, school population, and school location, island schools-communities were “highly prepared” for disasters. Further, findings indicated that they also have a “high level of resiliency”. These were validated by the participants’ claim that the values of “self-reliance” and “sense of community” enabled them to survive, thrive, and recover from disaster situations. The study has further shown the need to put up food and water supply shelters or storage facilities among the different island schools-communities.

While SBM (School-Based Management) has already been implemented in many countries, including Indonesia, the Education Council has already brought this idea to create a better education act. However, SBM still has the wrong paradigm among principals of schools in Indonesia. Some of them still hardly believe that SBM can leverage their school. This paradigm is based upon their narrow-minded point of view because many of them feel that there is no "real example" that SBM really can do that is leverage from the promise. Therefore, this research tries to give empirical evidence that SBM in Indonesia can give leverage factors to schools. Even though SBM has been proven to leverage schools' achievement, there are still misperceptions among school management, parents, and teachers about how SBM should work. The result of this research is also being socialized to the principals, so they can understand how important SBM is for their school and will be eager to implement SBM in their school (for those who do not implement it yet).

This study aimed to examine the relations between first-order and second-order barriers and ICT (information and communications technology) integration across schools with different SES (socioeconomic status) levels in the US. This study was based on a nationally representative sample of public elementary and secondary schools included in the fast response survey system (FRSS)–educational technology in the US public schools. Multiple-group path modeling was employed as the main analytic method. The results showed that in advantaged schools, first-order and second-order barriers demonstrated additive effects on ICT integration. However, in disadvantaged schools, first-order and second-order barriers showed multiplicative effects on ICT integration. This study suggests that in advantaged schools, eradicating second-order barriers can compensate for the constraints on ICT integration imposed by first-order barriers. However, in disadvantaged schools, removing second-order barriers will not be effective if first-order barriers are not addressed first. This study contributes to the literature by highlighting the role of school SES in planning school-wide ICT integration. Also, a contextualized model is proposed to capture the differential relations between barriers and ICT integration in specific school contexts.

This study analyzes the perception that teachers and management team members in secondary school education have of technology-based educational innovation (TEI). Two questionnaires and in-depth interviews permit us to analyze leaders’ perspective of planning, development, and evaluation. The school leaders’ view diverges from that of the regional/national education policy makers and is closer to the view developed in pedagogy for leading the process of introducing technology in classrooms and influencing innovation in teachers’ practice. Based on reflection on the leadership–technology–innovation relationship, we derive a top-down model for use by teachers, schools, the community, and education authorities.

A digital campus will generate a large amount of student-related data. How to analyze and apply these data has become the key to improving the management level of students. The analysis of student behavior data can not only assist schools in early warning of dangerous events and strengthen school safety but also can use real data to describe student behavior, thereby providing quantitative data support for scholarship and grant evaluation. This paper takes a university student as the research object, collects various data in the digital campus platform, and uses an adaptive K -means algorithm in the machine learning algorithm to cluster the data. Analyze the behavior of college students from the clustering results, so as to provide a basis for the education management and learning ability improvement of college students. Specifically, the student’s study, life, and consumption data are selected as the data to describe the student’s behavior at school. This data is input into the adaptive K -means algorithm to obtain different types of student consumption habits, living habits, and learning habits. Through the analysis results, it can be found that the problem of the group of students with low financial ability, the problem of too long online time for students, and the number of books borrowed are too low. According to the characteristics of these problems, teachers and schools are provided with targeted management suggestions. The analysis of student behavior based on machine learning technology provides a reference for the formulation of students’ school management policies and provides teachers with information on students’ personality characteristics, which is conducive to improving teachers’ teaching effects. In short, the management of the results of student behavior analysis can provide a basis for the school to formulate reasonable management policies, thereby promoting precision management and scientific decision-making.
