The basic theoretical principles of electromechanics, the theory of transformers and rotating machines of alternating and direct current, on the basis of which mathematical models and computational algorithms are built, are described. Methods for determining the characteristics and design of contactless electrical machines are presented: asynchronous motors, contactless synchronous (inductor) motors and electromagnetic bearings with calculation examples. Meets the requirements of the federal state educational standards of higher education of the latest generation. It is intended for students, undergraduates, postgraduates and certified specialists whose educational, scientific or professional interests are related to the field of electrical engineering and modern electric drive.
