By analyzing the case comparison of three different praise methods, this paper compares the most suitable praise strategies for the classroom at the k-12 stage. The research proposal is to introduce the beneficial effects of praise in the classroom through behaviourism and cognitivism and then to compare which kind of praise students respond to using real-world cases in the classroom: general praise targeted praise, and negative statementmost productive in the classroom. The survey method is that three teachers teach a class of 15 to 20 people, and one day is randomly selected each week to count the number of times teachers use different praise methods on average to analyze the cases. The results showed that general praise was more practical at ages K-8, where students were more likely to be praised by their teachers for their behaviour. In addition, the combination of targeted praise and negative statements in grades 8-12 can help students achieve academically.

The text represents a specific approach to Gorgias' Praise to Helen. Instead of considering it as a cradle of art theory of illusion (apate) or some kind of rhetoric acrobatic feat in which Gorgia praises the blameworthy, author considers Praise to Helen as first aesthetic text in European philosophy in which fine arts and poetry had been connected by means of one notion - notion of psychagogia, and looks upon it as a foundation of art theory that could be denoted as theory of psychagogia.

AbstractThis paper publishes a praise poem of Warad-Sîn, king of Larsa. The manuscript, a one-column tablet, comes from a private collection and is unprovenanced. The text might be an excerpt from a longer composition. Its 20 lines long text praises first Nippur, the city of Enlil, then Warad-Sîn speaks in the first person about the commission given to him by Enlil, about his deeds to the city, and about their permanence. The author of this text appears to be familiar both with the literary corpus and the royal inscriptions of the early Old Babylonian period.

Pedagogic literature points out that rewarding is desirable in the process of education and is a constituent part of teacher's work in school. However it is of importance to determine the type of behavior that deserves praise and reward as well as 'the situations' where praise and reward may have adverse effects. Praise and reward practiced in school are quite specific compared to those applied in a family, because rewards for a desirable behavior, as well as praises, are formally and officially prescribed. The meaning of rewarding is often restrictive and simplified thus being a kind of teacher's mechanical response to student's behavior. Consequently rewarding, especially when praise is in question, is deprived of encouraging features that, if they imply support and encouragement, contribute to child's developing self-confidence and positive self-image. That is why we have presented herein the types of rewards and their effects by using a -survey of studies carried out in our country and abroad, and all this to highlight some aspects of rewarding procedures, whereby we can check how important they are for the outcomes of education and student's personality development. A material reward is considered to have a more expressive control role, whilst verbal encouragement and praise mean information about achievement. Furthermore, considerations are given to some factors essential to a more efficient application of praise and reward in concrete educational situations as well as to their motivational advantages for teacher's educational practice. Lastly, possibilities of more successful application of praise and reward in school are suggested.

Pentecostal praise and worship always develop time by time. The pattern changes can be understood as a continuous process of church restoration from time to time towards the apostolic church. The restoration of Tabernacle of David (RTOD) is proposed to be a reference for Pentecostals to formulate the theological foundation in renewing the pattern of praise and worship in the present era. This paper aims to (i) explain the theological basis of the Pentecostal pattern of praise and worship in today's era, (ii) explain the theological meaning of RTOD prophecy and its relationship to praise and worship, and (iii) explain the application of RTOD in renewal of the Pentecostal praise and worship in the present era. This paper uses a qualitative method by applying a systematic literature study and phenomenological approaches to understand the theological basis of praise and worship pattern, the meaning of RTOD in general and related to praise and worship, components in RTOD, and its application in praise worship. The results of the study show that the RTOD can be used as a theological foundation and renewal of Pentecostal praise and worship in the present era.So, it can be concluded that the theological basis and definition RTOD can be used as a reference for applying it in the praise and worship of today's Pentecostals.

This article offers the first Arabic translation of a praise hymn dedicated to Ramsess II (d. 1213 B.C.E.), with philological and poetic commentaries. The text was carved on the facade of Abū Simbel temple twice because of its exceptional literary nature, as this study demonstrates. I discuss why Euro- American scholars were unable to separate the literary dimensions of the praise hymns from its political framework, and also tackle the pictorial nature of ancient Egyptian writing, providing the Arabic reader with the necessary instruments for understanding the several visual features that were creatively deployed by the writer to enhance the reading process of this particular praise hymn. I then trace the early foundations of premodern Arabic khiṭāba and its close relation to constructing oral/aural arguments in comparison with balāgha that deals with the literary devices of the Qur’ānic text. This study breaks new ground in the discipline of comparative literature by establishing a collation between the two praise hymns of Ramsess II (d. 1213 B.C.E.) and Senwosret III (d. 1839 B.C.E.). This collation makes it possible to rediscover the way each eulogist built unique or similar images to describe the praised king. The article discusses several problematic questions of loanwords to pave the way for further research on ancient Egyptian words that were incorporated inside the classical Arabic dictionary, and the analysis ends with an ancient Egyptian-Arabic lexicon of the hymn under study. It is hoped that this may encourage the new generation of Egyptian Egyptologists to generate a comprehensive dictionary of the ancient Egyptian language based on direct engagement with ancient Egyptian literary texts.

Roughly around the end of the 7th century, a distinct genre of Islamic literature began to develop under the rubric fadāʾil (“virtues” or “excellences”) that praised the merits, for example, of reciting the Qurʾan, of the Companions of the Prophet, of performing religious duties such as hajj and jihad, and of sacred cities such as Jerusalem. The fadāʾil literature initially was a part of the burgeoning hadith corpus, and the fadāʾ-Qurʾ an traditions appear to be the oldest strand. A variant term for this type of tradition, especially with regard to the Companions of the Prophet, is manāqib (and less frequently, khasāʾ is). A survey of this kind of “praise” literature indicates that the terms manāqib and fadaāʾil could be used fairly interchangeably.

The purpose of this research is to see and provide an understanding of the existence of a hymn in the liturgy of Christian worship today, both hymns and contemporary hymns, and the meaning of the hymn "Mengikut Yesus Keputusanku." A qualitative research method is used through a literature review in writing this scientific work. The results of this research are as follows. First, as church music grows in the liturgy of worship, it can be noted that whether or not the hymns of hymns are a little less, added several church denominations are coming to comfortable with the use of contemporary praise in the liturgy of worship, second, the "Mengikut Yesus Keputusanku." Praise is one of the great testimonies of those who sing this praise, regardless of this praise, it is a form of faith that one believes in God to this day, even this praise continues to grow with various translations and insights. Third, the presence of contemporary music and the praise of hymns should be combined into God.

This article publishes a new text by Giannozzo Manetti and places it into the political, diplomatic, and biographical context from which it emerged. Manetti’s “Panegyric to King Alfonso” was written for the occasion of the Holy Roman Emperor Frederick III’s visit to Naples in the spring of 1452. This article and the accompanying first edition of Manetti’s treatise add new insights into the events of mid-Quattrocento Italy that led to Manetti’s voluntary exile from Florence, in addition to a new chapter in the narrative of patrician resistance to the consolidation of political power in Florence under Cosimo de’ Medici and his allies.

Cinema was a major phenomenon, and a favorite pastime in the 20th century, is so well in the modern era 21st century? Still new movies are filming that can be seen in cinemas. Development of cinema attendance is but a very uncertain and volatile in recent years. Therefore, I decided to dedicate this work to closer analysis of attendance of Prague cinemas. Prague has the most of cinemas of all the Czech cities and potential viewer is indeed a wide selection, and it is therefore interesting to explore further attendance in Prague cinemas. The aim of this thesis is to identify and further analyze how attendance of Prague cinemas evolved in the past six years, to compare the attendance and sales between classic cinemas and multiplexes and on the basis of these findings, formulate estimates of attendance for the future and try to come up with advice that would cinemas helped attract more viewers. Using a questionnaire survey and qualitative research then see how often Prague inhabitants go to the cinema, and this research also help me to get more information about the characteristics of moviegoers.

This thesis provides a history of the relationship between Prime Minister William Lyon Mackenzie King and the Prairie region of Canada. It offers insight into the career of Canada's longest serving prime minister and his handling of one of the most politically complex regions in the nation. Mackenzie King entered the leadership of the national Liberal Party in 1919 with a remarkably sympathetic attitude toward the Prairie West. This attitude translated into federal policies directed at regaining Liberal support in the region during King's early administrations. By the time of his retirement in 1948, his attitude had undergone dramatic transition and the region responded in kind. The roots of the decline in Prairie Liberalism are buried within the Mackenzie King era and a study of this phenomenon helps explain the place of the West in Canada.

The paper primarily aims to depict the cultural life in the district city of Tábor against a background of the 1968 - 1970 historical events. The author describes, against the historical background, the individual cultural events and the life of the city, as well as the influence of political events which had the result that the city, and indeed the entire country, returned to the era preceding the "golden sixties". Employing the method of oral history, the author has interviewed narrators who had a proactive relationship to the cultural events in the city. Their testimonies were used as a basis for selecting topics which illustrate the cultural movement in the late 1960s as a period of liberalisation ending with normalisation which suppressed the cultural development of the city; the author especially invokes those events which were irreconcilable with the subsequent political developments in the country. The paper also refers to other resources which outline the atmosphere of the era, namely resources provided by the political authorities of the city and the Tábor City Chronicle. Using the testimonies provided by the narrators and the archival resources, the author has endeavoured to paint the most accurate picture of the atmosphere surrounding the events happening in the city in the said period....

As movimentações estratégicas que interferiram na delimitação das áreas de influência atlântica de Portugal e de Castela, nos finais de Quatrocentos, foram determinadas num quadro bilateral de política de sigilo. O conceito de esfericidade da Terra estava interiorizado pelos cosmógrafos de Portugal e de Castela. O conhecimento náutico e geográfico assentava basicamente na experiência apoiada na observação e nos registos que foram definindo os contornos e as proporções marítimas e terrestres do globo, sem fundamentação científica. O período relativo à perceção do Império Português (1485-1502) caracterizou-se por uma intensificação de movimentações interativas promovidas pelos dois reinos ibéricos que visaram a disputa pela rota do Oriente, após 1492. No âmbito da sistematização dos elos bilaterais luso-castelhanos que interferiram no processo gestacional dos Impérios Ibéricos, a ação do almirante Cristóvão Colon assume particular influência. As suas conceções geográficas e o seu pensamento ideológicoespiritual estimulavam uma vontade obstinada na busca de uma passagem para Oriente através do Ocidente. D. João II procurou obter vantagem estratégica em defesa do plano da Índia, no contexto dos conhecimentos, experiência e ações de Cristóvão Colon ao serviço dos Reis Católicos. A análise ao documento El Memorial Portugués de 1494 assume uma particular preponderância no quadro da formação dos Impérios Ibéricos. Dirigido à rainha Isabel a Católica foi descoberto em 1992 pelos investigadores István León-Borja e Katalin Klimes-Szmik, no Archivo General de Simancas. O memorialista português aconselhava a rainha Isabel a abandonar os projetos das Índias Ocidentais descobertas por Cristóvão Colon, enfatizava as riquezas e o comércio de África e designava o rei D. João II como tirano. Após a morte de D. João II, Cristóvão Colon perseguiu o seu sonho de encontrar uma passagem para o Oriente, imbuído por uma predestinação de pendor messiânico, que se foi conformando na mente do almirante, semelhante aquela que foi germinando no pensamento do rei D. Manuel I.
The strategic movements that interfered in the delimitation of Portuguese and Castilian Atlantic areas, by the end of the fifteenth century, were determined within a bilateral conjuncture of secrecy policy. The spherical Earth concept was generally accepted by the Portuguese and Castilian cosmography. The nautical and geographic knowledge layed basically in the experience based on the observation and on the records that were made, which stated the maritime and terrestrial boundaries without scientific validation. The period that we call the perception of the Portuguese Empire (1485-1502) was characterized by an intensification of interactive movements forwarded by Portugal and Castile that aimed the Eastern route dispute, after 1492. Regarding the systematization scope of Portuguese-Castilian bilateral links connected with the gestation of the Iberian empires, the actions taken by the admiral Christopher Colon had quite a particular influence. His geographical concepts, ideological and spiritual thinking had stimulated an obstinate will to find a passage to the East through the West. The Portuguese king John II had sought for strategic benefits in defense of India’s plan, within the context of Christopher Colon’s knowledge, experience and actions while serving the Catholic Kings. The analysis of El Memorial Portugués de 1494 document assumes particular preponderance. This document was written to queen Isabel the Catholic and it has been found in 1992 by the researchers István León-Borja and Katalin Klimes-Szmik, in the Archivo General de Simancas. The Portuguese memorialist encouraged queen Isabel to abandon the projects of the West Indies, which were discovered by Christopher Colon, to reinforce the African wealth and commerce and to consider king John II as a tyrant. After king John’s II death, Christopher Colon pursued his dream of finding a passage to the East, lead by messianic predestination that was developing in the mind of the admiral, similar to the one that was germinating in king Manuel’s thinking.

Virtual laboratory of pneumatic and electro pneumatic systems will be used for learning of pneumatic and electro pneumatic schemes design principles. Rapid changeable conditions on labour market are on one side connected with international countries integration and on the other side the conditions are connected with rapid technological development. These changeable conditions are so creating new pressure to the employee competitions. Labour power is an important development aspect of present day informatics society. This importance can be found on firm level as well as in global economic development use. Labours which are suitable and high qualified for these conditions can be found in groups of university educated graduates. Especially we are talking about graduates of economy and technical universities. This kind of graduates is very required on the labour market. Researches operating about employers requirements and also operating about student opinions to the university training are indicating that teaching schedules and education process are not creating for praxis requirements. That mean, that universities have to teach special practical knowledge and skills re-bound to the praxis and its needs.

<p>The cable tray system is a kind of non-structural components used in civil and industrial buildings for the distribution of electric cables. A full-scale shaking table test on the suspended cable tray system was conducted in order to study its seismic performance. The floor response extracted by the numerical simulation and the artificially generated sweep wave were input to the specimens with three types of seismic support installed on the steel platform. The dynamic responses of the cable tray system including the displacement and acceleration, and dynamic properties including the fundamental frequency, damping and resonance frequency, are analysed. From the test results it is found that the seismic support can effectively reduce the displacement and acceleration responses. The damage was mainly distributed around the seismic supports. The cracks in the joints between the main- and sub-beam were observed in the experiment, which is the main failure pattern of the cable tray system. Finally, the relationship between the damage state and the relative displacement of the tray component is analysed.</p>

<p>Exceeding creep actions on newly built composite bridge in Karlovy Vary led to rapid repair works of the excessively deflected structure. Activation of retrofit prestressing system in confined places is usually a difficult task. Instead of space-demanding hydraulic actuators, prestressing system of thermally activated shape memory alloys was used under low filler beam bridge to act against the creep inflicted deflection. Method of thermal activation of Fe-SMA with use of heating ceramic pads with resistance wire was performed on all of 17 filler beams. This method was proven as most suitable for field activation in previous application. Strengthening was done in February 2021 without any intervention into the traffic on the bridge. It is the first permanent Fe-SMA application of its kind in the world. Wireless monitoring of the bridge started before the prestress activation and continued for several months. Static load test with use of 32-ton trucks was conducted. Based on the long-term monitoring, the relaxation of Fe-SMA is evaluated and compared with the results from the experimental analysis conducted in laboratory conditions on the same retrofit system.</p>

The poetry of metarealism is considered the poetry of the complexity of perception, interpretation, understanding, not only for students, but also for the researchers and literary critics themselves. The rich use of metametaphors, or the metabol, and their sequential accumulation makes it difficult to decode individual images and the meaning of the whole poem. Poetic texts of this kind, in addition, require their readers to have a general outlook on knowledge of history, culture, literature, technology, etc. Deciphering the meaning often resembles solving crosswords. To motivate university students studying Russian as a foreign language to read and understand the poetry of metarealism, one needs to arouse interest among them. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to show the diverse use of information technology in the classroom on Russian literature, and more specifically in seminars on modern Russian literature to draw attention to metarealist poetry.

<p>This bridge is outstanding and so will be its Structural health Monitoring. Designed and installed by Sixense upon the specification of the Client, the system will manage more than 1000 sensors. This monitoring architecture will allow to measure any external event happening on the bridge such as strong, wind, earthquake, lightning, heavy traffic. It will also record all the reaction behavior of the structure such as temperature, displacement, vibration, fatigue stresses. Amongst all the recorded data, dynamic record of such a slender structure is key. The acquisition system provided by Sixense will allow to record, compute, sample, analyses, store and analyse a tremendous quantity of data from all kind of mechanical beaviour of the structure. It will for instance allow rainflow treatment of the stress of the orthotropic slab in order to survey and prevent fatigue failure.</p><p>But more than simply recording data for visualization and immediate maintenance, the system provided by Sixense will also allow to perform predictive computation of the future behavior of the infrastructure : regression analysis from the available data combined with tuneable environment parameters (temperature, traffic), will allow the owner of the bride to anticipate the behavior of the bridge and plan the maintenance operation far in advance out of critical service activity phases. This will increase the safety of the bridge, save money for the owner and allow this signature bridge to last for a very long time.</p>

The internal acoustic music of Surat Al-Nasr depicted the sign of the promise of complete victory and the good tidings of the entry of many creatures to Islam. The feeling of pride and vanity appeared for the coming of victory and conquest, and the vision of entering, represented by the tide in the sound of the thousand in the first verse three times, and the glorification of (lam) the word of majesty, then it calmed down when the Almighty said: In the religion of God) to express entering quietly and smoothly by elongating the tide of the word God, and this is exactly what happened at the beginning of the Islam. The highly “hamza” and “Jeem,” then the repetition of the tide in absolute thousand came to reinforce this, and the syllables and sounds contributed to the stereotyped sound image, and shedding lights on the meaning of the words. We also find that the percentage of open syllables in the surah reached (63.2%) and the movement of conquest (65.3%), in addition to the increase in the percentage of vocalized voices to the whispered by more than double, and this music increases by the increase in the percentage of the closed sound clip closed silently in the last verse to (42.85%) After it was (30%) in the first verse and (27.7%) in the second verse, it is in harmony with the state of praise and forgiveness that requires a kind of reverence, represented by this energetic calm and this quiet of speaking.. We live in a time of rapid geo-political change that is expected to accelerate rather than stabilise over the coming decades: More than half the world lives in urban areas, a figure expected to rise to 68% over the next 30 years. Cities are denser and more socially complex than ever before. Rural to urban internal migration continues, but a substantial driver of population transitions is a consequence of inter-national immigration, some of it forced. In fact, there are currently 65 million displaced people in the world; the largest figure in history. These increasingly complex conditions require architects to practice a new kind of critical consciousness about the socio-economic, environmental and demographic multiplicities in which they work. It’s no longer enough to concentrate on the conditions of a site defined by the lines of property ownership. Architects need to adopt a contextually relevant praxis that responds to the multiscalar effects of our changing social condition. To that end, we argue, the emerging generation of architects will need knowledge and methods – often inter-disciplinary – that enable them to read and represent these social complexities and address them through critical design responses. This paper presents a pedagogical approach for a foundational transdisciplinary design studio within a new generalist undergraduate degree in design in which this pedagogical challenge is addressed. It is a core subject in the pathway to professional a master’s degrees in architecture, landscape architecture and urban design.

The contemporary Czech poet using the pseudonym Ewald Murrer (born in 1964 in Prague) used to be a representative of Czech underground literature before 1989. Then he became one of the most specific and original artists of his generation. The present essay deals with his very successful collection of poetry called The Diary of Mr. Pinke (1991, English translation published in 2022). Between the world wars, the most Eastern part of Czechoslovakia was so-called Subcarpathian Ruthenia (or Karpatenukraine in German). This rural and somewhat secluded region neighbouring Austrian Galicia (or Galizien in German) in the very West of Ukraine and the South- East of Poland used to be a centre of Jewish culture using mainly Yiddish and inspired by local folklore. The poems of Ewald Murrer are deeply rooted in the imagery of Jewish and Rusyn fairy tales and folk songs. While Marc Chagall, the famous French painter (coming from today�s Byelorussia), discovered these old sources of Jewish art for European Modernism, Ewald Murrer uses the same sources but his approach to literary creation can be seen as much more post-modern: he uses but at the same time also re-evaluates old myths and archetypes of this region with both a lovely kind of humour and more serious visions of Kafkaesque absurdity that are probably unavoidable in Central Europe. The fictional and highly poetic diary of Mr. Pinke is highly significant as a sophisticated revival of the almost forgotten culture of a Central European region that almost definitely stopped existing after the tragic times of the Holocaust and Stalinism.

Abstract: The Modern Age has promoted advances in technoscience and material quality of life. However, a cycle has been created in which the hypertrophy of logic and analysis does not solve the complexity of human phenomena. This author’s HPTD-M theory (Holopraxis Transdisciplinary Management) emerged in this context. The objective of this article is to provoke a comprehensive discussion on the creation of a transdisciplinary chair (TD chair) in universities, including courses of short duration for public and private organizations, effective envisaging and dialectical problem solving for issues involving the complexity of human phenomena, when the mechanistic and the systemicbiological-environmental approach are not enough. transdisciplinary Thirty-five-year research and professional experience culminated in the HPTD-M theory and a 14-hour successful TD pilot course for mediating managers in March/2023. This author’s proposal for a paradigm shift and TD Chair involves 1) A transdisciplinary course in the first semester of university graduation; 2) Simplification and flexibility to start (concepts of technoscience and complementarity); 3) The mediating professor for learning to learn and understanding, not only knowing; 4) Creation of a TD kind of Ph.D. and M.Sc. focused on the dialogue between theory praxis and generalist specialist. An MBA with more theory could be a starting point; 5) The three types of logic as tools for problem solving in dialogue with new ideas that make sense, considering the level of complexity in each concrete case; and 6) The abstract-concrete complementarity in problem solving and the concept of quaternary complementarities for troubleshooting in practice.

The following collection of Victorian Ghost Stories was collated and annotated by scholars at York University enrolled in the fourth-year Victorian Ghosts course offered through the department of English during Fall 2020. Starting with Elizabeth Gaskell’s “The Old Nurse’s Story” (1852)—a staple of many Victorian Ghost Story Anthologies—and ending with Ambrose Bierce’s “The Moonlit Road” (1907), this collection includes twenty-one ghost stories spanning six decades. As our classes were moved online for the 2020-21 academic year, this Scalar project functioned as a collaborative space with each student responsible for one ghost story (writing a short introduction and creating explanatory notes) and then finding links between those texts (and texts outside the course) to create a critical apparatus that helps guide readers through the anthology. This is the first edition and attempt at creating a project of this kind for this course and I hope it offers a foundation for future projects for EN 4573 (Victorian Ghosts) at York University. I cannot praise the students enough for their effort and enthusiasm during our time together when faced with learning a new software and completing unfamiliar assignments—not to mention, doing this all while navigating a (new to many of them) completely remote learning environment.

U poređenju sa komentarima o delovanju Rusije i Kine, prodornijem odnosu Turske prema Balkanu se ne poklanja dovoljno pažnje. Kako bi se ova praznina popunila, istraživački tim Beogradskog centra za bezbednosnu politiku (BCBP) sproveo je istraživanje zasnovano na analizi sekundarnog izvornog materijala ali, što je još važnije, i na razgovorima koji su sa šesnaest istraživača i pripadnika akademiske zajednice obavljeni u Istanbulu i Ankari. Iako konsultovani izvori imaju različite biografije i političke simpatije, istraživanjem je utvrđeno da su im određene teme svima zajedničke. Turska spoljna politika na Balkanu, naime, ima dva aspekta. Prvi je zasnovan na emocijama, i tu je spoljna politika države definisana njenim posebnim vezama sa tom oblašću, odnosno zajedničkom istorijom, društvenim vezama, faktorima identiteta i nasleđem Otomanskog carstva. S obzirom na društveno-kulturne veze i činjenicu da je Bosna i Hercegovina država u kojoj je to nasleđe najprisutnije, ona se u kontekstu posebnih veza sa Turskom pominje najčešće. Drugi pristup je ukorenjen u tradicionalnom spoljnopolitičkom realizmu koji proizlazi iz objektivne i proračunate procene regionalnog odnosa snaga i sopstvenih interesa. U okviru tog pristupa, Turska iz bezbednosnih i strateških razloga nastoji da deluje pragmatično i ostvaruje svoje namere na Balkanu, a da se pritom ne uplete u krize koje bi mogle da joj ometaju uticaj u regionu. Ovaj pristup Tursku vodi ka aktivnim odnosima sa Srbijom, koja je u strateškom smislu značajna zemlja u regionu, jer je Ankara duboko uverena da, ukoliko želi da bude delotvorna na Balkanu, mora da ima partnerski odnos sa Beogradom. Pri tome, mora da uspostavi ravnotežu između emocija i realizma. Mora pažljivo da neguje odnose sa zajednicama sa kojima ima kulturne i verske veze, kao što su Bošnjačke i Albanske, ali i da istovremeno pazi da od sebe ne odgurne države poput Srbije, čije joj je partnerstvo neophodno ukoliko želi da postigne uspeh na Balkanu. Turska spoljna politika u regionu prošla je kroz dve faze. U prvoj joj je politika prema Balkanu bila previše fokusirana na istoriju i faktore identiteta. Ta praksa je posebno došla do izražaja u fazi koju kritičari vole da nazivaju „neoosmanizmom“, a koja se najčešće povezuje sa Ahmetom Davutogluom, nekadašnjim ministrom inostranih poslova Turske (2009-2014) i kasnije premijerom (2014–2016). Treba naglasiti da je Redžep Tajip Ergodan i tada bio na vlasti, ali je za politiku prema Balkanu bio zadužen prvenstveno Davutoglu. Međutim, upravo zbog retorike kojom se akcenat stavljao na emocije, istoriju i kulturu, spoljna politika Ankare u regionu je tokom tog perioda doživljavala neuspehe jer su lokalni hrišćanski narodi Tursku doživljavali kao ekspanzionističku silu koja se poziva na ranije imperijalno nasleđe, i kao pristrasnog posrednika koji favorizuje muslimanske zajednice kakva je npr. bošnjačka. Realistički impulsi turske spoljne politike su na površinu izbili u drugoj fazi. Ona je započela odlaskom Ahmeta Davutoglua, kada je predsednik Redžep Tajip Erdogan preuzeo čvršću kontrolu nad spoljnom politikom zemlje, pa i prema Balkanu. Ankara od tada stavlja veći naglasak na realizam i pragmatizam, za razliku od ranijeg insistiranja na strastvenoj, istorijskoj retorici. Ovu transformaciju simbolizuju bliže veze sa Srbijom koje balkanskoj politici Ankare daju veću slobodu. Pre nego što se pojavila vest o Erdoganovoj pobedi, tokom predsedničkih i parlamentarnih izbora koji su u Turskoj održani u maju 2023. godine vodila se žestoka debata o budućem smeru spoljne politike zemlje. Dok su neki tvrdili da ona mora da ostane nepromenjena bez obzira na ishod izbora , drugi su verovali u potencijalne promene u sveukupnom odnosu zemlje sa akterima kao što su EU, SAD i Rusija . Međutim, ni pre ni nakon izbora nije bilo naznaka da će se spoljna politika Turske prema Balkanu bitno promeniti. Naprotiv, može da se očekuje da će upornost međunarodnih i domaćih faktora koji su u igri dovesti do dosledne balkanske politike Turske, te da će tamošnje spoljnopolitičke elite, kada se angažuju na Balkanu, i dalje biti prinuđene da balansiraju između emocija i realizma.
