Audio-visual records and archives constitute a fundamental heritage that satisfies multiple needs, including education, training, research and entertainment. As such, there is a need to appropriately preserve and conserve them so they can be accessed for as long as they are needed. In spite of their significant role in safeguarding cultural heritage, audio-visual records and archives, are often neglected and accorded less attention than paper-based records, especially in developing countries. Hence, there is a risk of losing information held in audio-visual form. That is why this study looked at how the National Archives of Zambia (NAZ) and the Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation (ZNBC) preserve audio-visual materials to ensure long-term accessibility of the information. The study investigated the types of audio-visual collections held, the storage equipment used, measures put in place to ensure long-term accessibility of audio-visual materials, the disaster preparedness plans in place to safeguard audio-visual archives and the major challenges encountered in the preservation of audio-visual materials. The findings of the study revealed that films (microfilm and microfiche), photographs and manuscripts, and video (video tapes) and sound recordings (compact cassette) constitute the biggest audio-visual collection preserved. The equipment used to store audio-visual materials included open shelves, specialised cabinets, electronic database for digitised materials, aisle mobiles and cupboards. The measures taken to ensure the long-term accessibility of audio-visual collection included digitisation and migration of endangered records and archives; fumigation of storage areas; conservation of damaged materials and regulation of temperatures and humidity in the storage areas. The disaster preparedness plans in place mostly covered structure insurance; protection against fire and water by way of installing fire extinguishers; smoke sensors; fire detectors and construction of purpose-built structures. The major challenges faced were financial constraints; technological obsolescence; lack of playback equipment; limited training; lack of strong back-up systems and inadequate storage facilities.

Several methods were compared for moderating temperatures and protecting container-grown nursery plants from winter injury. Three layers of microfoam covered by 1 layer of 4 mil white copolymer (poly) and 30 cm (12 in) straw between 2 layers of white poly greatly moderated minimum temperatures of growing medium. The straw-between-white poly treatment prevented rapid rise of air temperatures under the cover in early spring. All covers resulted in minimal winter injury to most plant species, but growing medium temperatures in containers under 1 layer of microfoam or 1 layer white poly dropped below −10°C (14°F), the temperature shown to be injurious to root systems of some plants.

This article deals with the comparative study of the old age designation in Russian and Chinese phraseology. The subject of research in this paper are phraseological units of Russian and Chinese, in which the object of description is the age of an elderly person. The main research methods used in the article are the methods of definitions, field, linguocultural and comparative analyses. The aim of the paper lies in identification of similar and distinctive perceptions of an elderly person from the point of view of representatives of Russian and Chinese linguocultures. The paper analyses the plane of expression and the plane of the content of Russian and Chinese phraseological units, as well as cultural and linguistic features of those units. The scientific novelty of this study reveals itself in the fact that for the first time the phraseological means of elderly age representation of a person in Russian and Chinese linguocultures have been defined; for the first time the phraseosemantic microfield ‘old age’ in Russian and Chinese have been presented and compared. The results of the study make it possible to represent similarities and differences of the old age conceptualization by means of Russian and Chinese phraseology and to identify the features of the microfield ‘old age’ of the languages compared.

<p>This work aims to perform the numerical and experimental characterization of CSRR (Complementary Split Ring Resonator) structures in the ground plane of microstrip antennas, for the use in 4G/LTE wireless systems in the 2.5 GHz band. Two geometries for the radiating elements of the antennas were used, the circular and the rectangular ones. Some initial equations were used to design the CSRR structures, followed by a numerical optimization process. This way, numerical and experimental analyzes of the changes in antennas characteristics were carried out, mainly in resonance frequency, bandwidth and radiation pattern. The simulated results were obtained using the commercial software ANSYS, which uses the Moment Method (MoM). The simulated and measured results of the antennas with the CSRR structures printed on their ground plane were compared with those obtained by circular and rectangular patch antennas with a conventional ground plane, we could observe a reduction in their resonant frequency, enabling the miniaturization process.</p>

Five species of container-grown nursery plants were overwintered under treatments of no cover, 2 layers of microfoam, 15 or 30 cm of chopped newspaper and 15 cm newspaper or 22 cm straw between two layers of white copolymer. Temperatures were measured in the air under covers and in the center of the growing medium. Chopped newspaper moderated winter temperatures equal to or better than other cover treatments. All covers prevented winter injury. Baled chopped newspaper used by dairy farmers for livestock bedding is available at a reasonable cost.

With everyday advances in the field of pharmaceuticals, medicinal plants have high priority regarding the introduction of novel synthetic compounds by the usage of environmentally friendly extraction technologies. Herein, a supercritical CO2 extraction method was implemented in the analysis of four plants (chamomile, St. John’s wort, yarrow, and curry plant) after which the non-targeted analysis of the chemical composition, phenolic content, and antioxidant activity was evaluated. The extraction yield was the highest for the chamomile (5%), while moderate yields were obtained for the other three plants. The chemical composition analyzed by gas chromatography-high-resolution mass spectrometry (GC-HRMS) and liquid chromatography-high-resolution mass spectrometry (LC-HRMS) demonstrated extraction of diverse compounds including terpenes and terpenoids, fatty acids, flavonoids and coumarins, functionalized phytosterols, and polyphenols. Voltammetry of microfilm immobilized on a glassy carbon electrode using square-wave voltammetry (SWV) was applied in the analysis of extracts. It was found that antioxidant activity obtained by SWV correlates well to 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhidrazine (DPPH) radical assay (R2 = 0.818) and ferric reducing antioxidant power (FRAP) assay (R2 = 0.640), but not to the total phenolic content (R2 = 0.092). Effective results were obtained in terms of activity showing the potential usage of supercritical CO2 extraction to acquire bioactive compounds of interest.

This study attempted to explore the role of inflation and unemployment inverse on the Iranian economic growth during 1992-2012. Methodology: Moreover, the effects of inflation and unemployment inverse on economic development were examined within short and long term periods through an autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) model. The model was assessed through Microfit 4.0 and Eviews 6. Results: The results indicated that inflation and unemployment inverse left a negative impact on the long-term economic growth. It implies that inflation and unemployment inverse in the long-run led to lower economic growth, which can more than ever propel the Iranian authorities to pay greater attention to the importance of inflation, unemployment and devising new plans for mitigation of the two trends. Conclusion: The results can be employed by all Iranian officials, especially those involved in economic and social institutions and organizations, so as to take measures for mitigation of inflation and enhancement of employment rate, and eventually realize maximum economic growth.

Developing climate-smart agriculture is an urgent necessity to ensure the food security of a growing global population, to improve the adaptation of agricultural systems to climatic hazards, and to reach a negative carbon balance. Different approaches are being explored to achieve those objectives, including the development of new technologies for efficiency improvements to current systems and substitution of chemical inputs by bio-inputs, but the urgency of the climatic, social, and environmental context calls for more disruptive actions to be taken. We propose an approach to the design of climate-smart production systems structured in four steps: (1) diagnosis of the study region on the basis of the three pillars of climate-smart agriculture, (2) co-design of a disruptive system only based on agroecological and bioeconomic principles, (3) long-term experimentation of this system, and (4) in itinere adjustment of the system based on collected data and on-field evaluations with agricultural stakeholders. The outcome of this approach is the agroecological microfarm named KARUSMART, settled in 2018 on one hectare in the North Basse-Terre region of Guadeloupe (F.W.I.). This study presents its co-design and experimentation stages as well as the first performance results. At the end of the first two years, this microfarm showed a clear improvement in 15 of the 19 indicators used to evaluate the performance of the actual farming systems in the study region. Among the most striking results are a clear superiority in nutritional performance from 3 pers.ha-1 to 8 pers.ha-1 and a reduction in GHG balance from +2.4 tCO2eq.ha-1 to −1.1 tCO2eq.ha-1 for the study area and the microfarm, respectively. These results are promising for developing climate-smart agricultural systems and need to be consolidated further through longer-term monitoring data, the implementation of more similar systems in the study area, and the implementation of the design principles in other contexts.

This work presents the analysis of an antenna of fractal microstrip of Koch with dielectric multilayers and inclinations in the ground plane, whose values of the angles are zero degree (without inclinations), three, seven and twelve degrees. This antenna consists of three dielectric layers arranged vertically on each other, using feeding microstrip line in patch 1, of the first layer, which will feed the remaining patches of the upper layers by electromagnetic coupling. The objective of this work is to analyze the effects caused by increase of the angle of inclination of the ground plane in some antenna parameters such as return loss, resonant frequency, bandwidth and radiation pattern. The presented results demonstrate that with the increase of the inclination angle it is possible to get antennas with characteristics multiband, with bigger bandwidth, and improving the impedance matching for each case analyzed, especially the larger angle
Este trabalho apresenta a an?lise de uma antena de microfita fractal de Koch com multicamadas diel?tricas e inclina??es no plano de terra, cujos valores dos ?ngulos s?o zero grau (sem inclina??es), tr?s, sete e doze graus. Esta antena ? constitu?da por tr?s camadas diel?tricas dispostas verticalmente umas sobre as outras, utilizando alimenta??o por linha de microfita no patch 1, da primeira camada, que ir? alimentar os demais patches das camadas superiores por acoplamento eletromagn?tico. O objetivo deste trabalho ? analisar os efeitos causados pelo aumento do ?ngulo de inclina??o do plano de terra em alguns par?metros da antena, tais como perda de retorno, frequ?ncia de resson?ncia, largura de banda e diagrama de radia??o. Nesta disserta??o, s?o apresentadas duas antenas de microfita e dois arranjos para aplica??es em sistemas de comunica??o sem fio multibanda. Inicialmente, foi estudada uma antena e um arranjo linear constitu?do por dois elementos id?nticos ao da antena isolada. A forma de ambas as estruturas baseia-se na geometria fractal e tem comportamento de banda m?ltipla. Em seguida uma nova antena ? analisada e um novo arranjo igual ? estrutura inicial, mas com o plano de terra truncado, a fim de obter melhores larguras de banda e perda de retorno. Para alimentar as estruturas foi utilizada linha de transmiss?o de microfita. No projeto das estruturas planares utilizou-se o software HFSS para a simula??o. Em seguida foram constru?das e feitas medi??es dos par?metros eletromagn?ticos como imped?ncia de entrada e perda de retorno, usando o analisador vetorial de redes do laborat?rio de telecomunica??es da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte. Os resultados experimentais obtidos foram comparados com os simulados e mostraram que o primeiro arranjo melhorou a perda de retorno, fez surgir uma quarta banda de frequ?ncia e aumentou a diretividade em rela??o ? antena isolada. Os dois primeiros benef?cios n?o s?o comumente encontrados na literatura. Quanto ?s estruturas com planos de terra truncados, a t?cnica produziu um melhor casamento de imped?ncia e melhor largura de banda e perda de retorno em todas as bandas de frequ?ncia com rela??o ?s estruturas iniciais com planos de terra cheios. Al?m disso, estas estruturas apresentaram uma melhor distribui??o das bandas ao longo da faixa, o que pode facilitar um ajuste das mesmas para frequ?ncias espec?ficas. Deste modo, espera-se que as estruturas planares apresentadas neste trabalho, em especial os arranjos, possam ser adequadas a aplica??es espec?ficas em comunica??es sem fio, onde multibandas e sinais banda larga de transmiss?o s?o exigidos.
In this dissertation, are presented two microstrip antennas and two arrays for applications in wireless communication systems multiband. Initially, we studied an antenna and a linear array consisting of two elements identical to the patch antenna isolated. The shape of the patch used in both structures is based on fractal geometry and has multiband behavior. Next a new antenna is analyzed and a new array such as initial structure, but with the truncated ground plane, in order to obtain better bandwidths and return loss. For feeding the structures, we used microstrip transmission line. In the design of planar structures, was used HFSS software for the simulation. Next were built and measures electromagnetic parameters such as input impedance and return loss, using vector network analyzer in the telecommunications laboratory of Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte. The experimental results were compared with the simulated and showed improved return loss for the first array and also appeared a fourth band and increased directivity compared with the isolated antenna. The first two benefits are not commonly found in the literature. For structures with a truncated ground planes, the technique improved impedance matching, bandwidth and return loss when compared to the initial structure with filled ground planes. Moreover, these structures exhibited a better distribution of frequency, facilitating the adjustment of frequencies. Thus, it is expected that the planar structures presented in this study, particularly arrays may be suitable for specific applications in wireless communication systems when frequency multiband and wideband transmission signals are required.

Neste trabalho é analisado o espalhamento eletromagnético causado por microfitas excitadas por ondas planas. Inicialmente é apresentado o procedimento para o cálculo, no domínio espectral, dos campos eletromagnéticos em estruturas com múltiplas camadas isotrópicas, tendo como fontes densidades superficiais de correntes elétrica e magnética localizadas nas interfaces entre as referidas camadas. Funções de Green espectrais são estabelecidas para duas estruturas de particular interesse prático. Expressões assintóticas para os campos distantes também são determinadas. Modos de propagação em guias planares com múltiplas camadas dielétricas são analisados detalhadamente, baseado no fato das soluções para as ondas no domínio espectral serem formalmente equivalentes às do domínio espacial. Esta abordagem permite estabelecer uma conexão direta com a solução espectral. O método dos momentos é empregado na solução das equações integrais para a determinação da densidade de corrente induzida no espalhador por uma onda plana elipticamente polarizada. Funções de base adequadas são introduzidas para permitir a realização das integrações numéricas de forma eficiente. Analiticamente o esforço exigido pelo emprego do método é grande. Do ponto de vista computacional e numérico o esforço é igualmente considerável e requer cuidados na sua implementação por causa da complexidade e das peculiaridades de convergência de integrais. Parte do trabalho é dedicada à discussão desse aspecto da técnica.Campos espalhados por dipolos impressos e elementos retangulares, calculados com os programas desenvolvidos, estão em boa concordância com as simulações realizadas com o programa comercial IE3DTM.

Esse trabalho visa aplicar Superf?cies Seletivas em Frequ?ncia (FSS) em arranjos de antenas planares, propondo meios que tragam melhores resultados em termos de diretividade, ganho e largura de banda. Al?m desse estudo, tamb?m foi feito inicialmente um estudo das caracter?sticas de arranjos de antenas de microfita, acoplamento m?tuo entre elementos do arranjo, trucamento do plano de terra e seus poss?veis efeitos positivos nas caracter?sticas de radia??o da antena. Para realizar tal estudo, foram reproduzidos alguns estudos de antenas de microfita e arranjos de antena de microfita, com dois elementos tipo patch, onde foram feitos os estudos do truncamento diferenciado do plano de terra. Ap?s constatar o efeito desse estudo, foi feita a escolha dos par?metros ?timos para as caracter?sticas de radia??o da antena para que possam ser feitos testes com novas geometrias de FSS sobre a antena em estudo. Esse estudo foi realizado inicialmente por meio de simula??es com o aux?lio de softwares comerciais e em seguida foram constru?dos prot?tipos dos melhores resultados encontrados na simula??o, cujos resultados foram comparados com medi??es reais para comprovar sua utilidade em aplica??es reais.
This work aims to attribute the use of Frequency Selective Surfaces (FSS) together with planar antenna arrays, proposing ways to grant better results in terms of directivity, gain and bandwidth. In addition to that study it will also be made a study about the characteristics of the arrays of microstrip antennas, mutual coupling between the elements of the array, ground plane trunking, and its benefits for the for the radiation characteristics of the antenna. For the accomplishment of that study, some results for microstrip antennas and microstrip antenna arrays with two elements were reproduced, having the unusual ground plane trunking study in addition to that. As soon as its effects were verified, the optimal parameters for the radiation characteristics of the antenna were selected and applied, so the new geometry of FSS could start being proposed on that antenna. That initial study have been made with only simulations using a commercial software and this was followed by the fabrication of prototypes of the best results of the simulations. The prototypes were measured and their results were tested and verified to be useful for the real applications, by comparison with the simulated results.

Este trabalho tem como objetivo principal realizar o estudo e an?lise de diferentes antenas planares de microfita, atrav?s do emprego de geometrias fractais no patch ressoador e da remo??o parcial do plano de terra com acoplamento. Recentes estudos mostram que as varia??es nas formas geom?tricas do patch da antena e do plano de terra produzem mudan?as na distribui??o da densidade de corrente da estrutura e consequentemente nos modos ressonantes e na polariza??o da antena. No desenvolvimento desta tese, apresenta-se uma nova antena fractal que utiliza a t?cnica de inser??o de fendas e aberturas de forma fractal no plano de terra e tamb?m descontinuidades no transformador ? de onda na linha de transmiss?o a fim de aumentar a largura de banda e alcan?ar comportamentos espec?ficos em aplica??es de banda de frequ?ncia. Emprega-se o substrato FR-4 com dimens?es de 85,0 x 85,0 x 1,57 mm?. Al?m disso, usam-se diferentes modos de casamento de imped?ncia na linha de alimenta??o de antena como CPW (Coplanar Wave Guide) e altera??es da largura da linha de transmiss?o, a fim de obter varia??o na distribui??o de corrente e, consequentemente, na largura de banda de resposta por imped?ncia para S11 ? -10dB para banda C (3.9 GHz - 6,2 GHz) e banda S (2,0 GHz - 4,0 GHz). Uma an?lise comparativa de desempenho para a linha de microfita e CPW foi realizada, obtendo-se para alguns casos antenas circularmente polarizadas. Boa concord?ncia foi obtida entre os resultados medidos e simulados.
This work has as main objective to carry out the study and analysis of different planar microstrip antenna, by employing fractal geometry in the resonator patch and partial removal of the ground plane with coupling. Recent studies show that variations in geometric shapes of the antenna and the ground plane generate changes in current density distribution of the planar structure and consequently the resonant modes and antenna polarization. In developing this thesis presents a new fractal antenna using the technique of insertion slots and fractal shaped defects (gaps) in the ground plane and discontinuities with ? wavelength transformer in the transmission line in order to increase the bandwidth and inserting in the feed line to reach specific behaviors in three frequency bandwidth applications. We used the FR-4 substrate with dimensions of 85.0 x 85.0 x 1.57 mm?. In addition, we used different modes of impedance matching in line antenna feed as CPW (Coplanar Wave Guide), to change the width of the transmission line in order to obtain a variation in the current distribution and hence the response bandwidth impedance to S11 ? -10dB for C band (3.9 GHz - 6.2 GHz) and S band (2.0 GHz - 4.0 GHz). A comparative analysis of cases with microstrip line and CPW was made, applications in this frequency range require preferably circularly polarized antennas. Good agreement was obtained between measured and simulated results.

Afin de mieux comprendre les effets des changements climatiques sur le pergélisol, il s’avère essentiel d’obtenir une meilleure connaissance des facteurs physiques et biologiques l’influençant. Même si plusieurs études font référence à l’influence de la végétation sur le pergélisol à grande échelle, l’effet de la végétation sur la profondeur du front de dégel du pergélisol à l’échelle de mètres, tel qu’exploré ici, est peu connu. L’étude s’est effectuée dans une forêt boréale tourbeuse dans la zone à pergélisol discontinu au sud des Territoires du Nord-Ouest (N61°18’, O121°18’). Nous avons comparé la profondeur de dégel aux mesures du couvert végétal suivantes : densité arborescente, couvert arbustif, indice de surface foliaire et présence de cryptogames (lichens et bryophytes). Nous avons trouvé qu’une plus grande densité arborescente menait à une moins grande profondeur de dégel tandis que le couvert arbustif (<50cm de hauteur) n’avait aucune influence. De plus, la profondeur de dégel dépendait de l’espèce des cryptogames et des microformes. Cette recherche quantifie l’influence de la végétation par strate sur la dégradation du pergélisol. Ultimement, les résultats pourront être pris en considération dans la mise en place des modèles, afin de valider les paramètres concernant la végétation, la dégradation du pergélisol et le flux du carbone.
In order to better understand the impacts of climate change on permafrost degradation, it is important to understand the influence of abiotic and biotic factors on permafrost dynamics. While studies allude to the effect of broad vegetation groups on permafrost dynamics at landscape-scale, the role vegetation plays in affecting the spatial variability of active-layer development on the scale of metres, as explored here, is largely unknown. The study was carried out in a boreal forest-peatland landscape in the discontinuous permafrost zone in the southern Northwest Territories (N61°18’, W121°18’). We examined the influence of the following vegetation characteristics on the spatial variability of thaw depth: tree density, shrub cover, leaf area index, and cryptogam presence (lichen and bryophyte). We found that greater tree density was associated with shallower thaw depths while shrub cover (<50cm height) had a negligible influence. Furthermore, thaw depth depended on the cryptogam species cover and microform. This research quantifies the impact of vegetation by strata on thaw depth and may ultimately serve to refine vegetation parameters in ecosystem models and land surface schemes as part of climate models.

This chapter reconsiders some tenets of Genette's insightful framework for analyzing paratexts, by examining the transformation of paratexts on one kind of published play—a cheaper, nineteenth-century, English-language “Acting Edition”—after remediation into digital form for new purposes: not for producing theatre, but for studying old drama. Invoking Aiken's Uncle Tom's Cabin and Dion Boucicault plays as examples of general patterns, the author first fill in gaps in the inventory of print paratexts, delineating a species of theatrical paratext different from the literary paratexts spotlighted by Genette, that, together with the publisher's commercial communications, referred away from the single author or drama and rendered the publication into a hybrid literary-practical commodity. Moving to the twenty-first century, the chapter touches briefly on the pre-digital academic publishing formats, print anthologies and facsimile microform, which involved paratextual and market practices variously inherited by digital successors. While acknowledging the diverse array of digitized playbooks, the chapter concentrates on the proprietary database Literature Online produced by the Chadwyck-Healey division of a conglomerate corporation ProQuest, couching the remediated play paratexts within shifts in global capitalism. These for-profit paratexts partly reveal their political economy basis in fusion with the ideologies of the academic market and the materiality of their medium, including a new species of partly visible protocols that the author calls actuating marks. Overall, the chapter uses old melodrama to open new views of the performances of paratexts across textual media and embedded in political economy.

Abstract While carrying out planned workover activities, production casing had to be tested to verify integrity. A shallow leak was observed across the production casing at about 1000 ft MD from surface. External and/or internal casing corrosion especially across relatively old wells, could lead to such inconsistency, moreover that major challenge to address and react such surprises online while operation meanwhile nothing to help as a pre-planning studies. Further production objectives require casing integrity as per ESP design to protect shallow aquifer sources. Numerous attempts to repair the casing leak by performing remedial squeeze operations utilizing conventional cement slurry designs proved unsuccessful. Other ideas were considered such as deploying a scab liner to cover the damaged casing section, however this was discounted as it would introduce undesirable borehole restrictions; as well as extra 6 days for running, cementing and clean-out. A novel engineered approach with Microfine cement slurry design squeezed into the damaged zone successfully regained casing and well integrity, while maintaining full borehole access through the production casing, thus saving rig time and tangible cost. Well drilling operations should be carefully designed and executed targeting the integrity assurance by providing the right casing metallurgy and good cementation for proper zonal isolation behind individual casing strings to mitigate external casing corrosion and act as the first line of defense against corrosion and any potential leakage or cross flow among different formations across the life span of the well. Well completions should be installed / tested considering the protection of inner production casing / liner from getting in prolonged contact with wellbore fluids, to avoid excessive internal corrosion and achieve reservoir fluid containment across the life of the well. A proactive approach been raised to acquire production casing / liners corrosion logs across workover activities especially regarding old wells to enable the mapping and interpretation of casing wall thickness / corrosion progress along the well life. That approach could aid in predicting the condition of production strings before commencing planned workover activity; and thus justify the availability of back-up repair plan to maintain rig operations and avoid any unscheduled operational surprises and possible strategic production rate defer.

Heat transfer enhancement plays an important role in improving energy efficiency and developing high performance thermal systems. Phase-change heat transfer processes take place in thermal systems; typically heat transfer enhanced tubes are used in these systems and they are designed to increase heat transfer coefficients in evaporation and condensation. Enhanced heat transfer tubes are widely used in refrigeration and air-conditioning applications in order to reduce cost and create a smaller footprint of the application. Microfins, roughness and dimples are often incorporated into the inner surface of tubes in order to enhance heat transfer performance. Under many conditions, enhanced surface tubes can recover more energy and provide the opportunity to advance the design of many heat transfer products. Convective condensation heat transfer and pressure loss characteristics were investigated for R410A on the outside of: (i) a smooth tube (outer diameter 12.7 mm); (ii) an external herringbone tube (fin root diameter 12.7 mm); and (iii) the 1EHT tube (outer diameter 12.7 mm) for very low mass fluxes. Data was obtained for values of mass flux ranging from 8 to 50 kg/(m2 s); at a saturation temperature of 318 K; with an inlet quality of 0.8 (±0.05) and an outlet quality of 0.1 (±0.05). In a comparison of heat transfer at a low mass flux, both the 1EHT tube and the herringbone tube did not perform as well as the smooth tube. And it’s difficult to analyze the reason for this strange phenomenon.
