U radu se ocrtavaju glavne značajke biografijske filozofije i uz nju vezane obnovljene filozofijske prakse, talijanskog mislioca Romana Màdera. Slijedeći privlačnost rada Pierrea Hadota, Màdera pokušava pronaći mogući put prilagodbe drevnog viđenja filozofije kao načina života za suvremenost, čak se vraćajući doprinosu psihoanalize i dubinske psihologije. Dio rada posvećen je predstavljanju posebnosti prakse filozofijski orijentrane biografijske analize kakvu predlaže Màdera.

Resumo:

The article sets out the socio-philosophical point of view of the author that the culture of reading, which is considered relevant in society today, is the basis for the formation of the thinking of young people, and in what area and what kind of literature should be read. An attempt has been made to objectively analyze the state of the processes of the role of the library and new information technologies in the development of the reading culture of young people. The state of literature related to reading is emphasized, and what attention is paid to the promotion of reading in bookstores of Uzbekistan, including in the city of Namangan. It is noted that the phenomenon of reading is one of the little-studied areas, a conclusion is drawn about the formation of a culture of reading andthinking among young people.

Resumo:

The article is dedicated to the analysis of philosophic anthropology of the great Spanish artist of the 17th century Diego Velazquez. This anthropology is considered through the prism of the problems that set the life of contemporary Russia and its "reflections" in the present-day Russian artists' works. At that Velazquez's philosophical anthropology is reconstructed on the basis of his works. As a consequence, significant part of attention is paid to the method that allows performing such reconstruction. The author proceeds from the belief according to which not only written texts can be considered philosophically. The visual "texts" connected with certain world outlook component of art creative work undoubtedly possess definite semantics. Expressed by the language of art, such image lines contain intelligible sense component reconstruction of which can be subjected to strict scientific and philosophical analysis and corrected with its help. At that one should not think that the images are "translated" into "the text of words" - on the contrary, philosophical reconstruction implies not as "verbalization" of visual line as coherent to it logical mastering of the picture's sense (in this case) against the background of historical and historical-philosophical "scenery". The urgency of turning to this problem is brought about by the fact that a number of questions that found vivid and coherent (as philosophical-anthropological research shows) embodiment in Velazquez's creative work are extremely interesting for contemporary thinkers speaking the language of contemporary fine arts. "The topic of mirror" is among such questions and it deals with correlation of intellectual and rational in a person's consciousness, and, finally, there is the issue of the man as a bearer of moral principles. Comparison of attitudes shown by contemporary painting with Velazquez's ideas enables to trace the development of philosophical anthropology and in the area of its most significant categories - the man, society, consciousness, corporality, creative work, etc.

Resumo:

This paper considers the sorts of evaluations that underlie the emotion of embarrassment, by questioning what unifies the various kinds of situations in which this emotion typically arises. It examines the difference between embarrassment and shame, and then addresses problems with the accounts of embarrassment proposed by previous authors, in particular Solomon, Taylor and Goffman. It proposes a new model, on which the emotion involves viewing an interpersonal situation, in which you are involved, as containing an exposure to which you are averse. This may either be your own exposure to others, or others' exposure to yourself. The emotion thus reflects the value we attach to placing limits on the sorts of interactions and contact we have with other people.

Resumo:

Indiscernibility, interchangeability and resemblance relations may be named as weak-identity relations or identity-like relations. Indeed,identical objects can be thought to satisfy all these three relations. According to realist view, these relations are defined on the basis of properties of objects. While indiscernibility is a context-independent relation, since indiscernibility is defined in terms of all properties of objects, interchangeability and resemblance relations are defined in terms of some significant properties of objects and thus they should be regarded as context-dependent. We should consider the following points while comparing rivalling theories of resemblance: 1. The theory explaining resemblance relations between objects should cover as many domains as possible. Instead of simply admitting that objects of a given type may resemble each other, the theory should explain how these relations are possible. 2. Objects do not just resemble or they do not resemblance is a relation that admits degrees. Thus the theory providing a finer analysis of close and weak resemblances should be preferred. In comparison to resemblance nominalism, realist theory of resemblance is strongerwith respect to both points. The criticism that realist view may not explain degrees of resemblance can be rejoined by removing the indeterminacy as to the nature of this notion.Among knowledge representation systems, property and attribute systems provide a simple but strong models for analytic ontology. Weak identity relations can easily be defined in these systems and the results following from these definitions can be seen to conform to our intuitions about weak identity relations.

Resumo:

In the mid 1920s, reflecting the concerns of the "Sprachkrise ", Ludwig Wittgenstein and Franz Kafka composed writings deeply concerned with language's ability to express human thought. In his Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus, Wittgenstein attempted to draw the boundary of meaningful language. During the same period, Kafka developed his thoughts on language and ethics in his Oktavhefte. I compare these works, showing that they share an understanding of language as a domain bound within the physical world and incapable of expressing our spiritual being. Presenting itself as rigorous philosophical writing, Wittgenstein's Tractatus constantly reminds its reader of the limitations of its own logical and philosophical language by claiming itself to be "nonsense" and only a ladder the reader should climb and get rid of. Kafka, without constructing rigorous logical arguments, composed a critique demonstrating the unnaturalness of natural language and showing that its poetic nature lets language transcend its own boundaries.

Resumo:

The novel Ziraili na Zirani, by W. Mkufya, is characterised by the constant recurrence of themes featuring in theodicy, the philosophical ‘vindication of divine goodness and providence in view of the existence of evil’ (Oxford dictionaries online). The themes which emerge from the characters’ conversations throughout the novel provide a constant confrontation of arguments to support or refute the existence of God. This paper aims to analyse the novel from a philosophical perspective, in order to clarify and emphasise the connection between the ideas and words employed by the characters, and the theories of Western philosophers such as St. Anselm, Thomas Aquinas and Leibnitz. The focus on these particular philosophical aspects contributes to a deeper understanding of the novel as a whole.

Resumo:

Climate change has an increasingly significant impact on the lives of people around the world. In this context, of particular interest is the study of the philosophical aspect of climate change in the Sakha Republic (Yakutia). The study is based on a philosophical analysis of climate change, as well as a generalization of the opinions on environmental issues. The main method is a logical-analytical approach to revealing the philosophical context of climate change in the context of Yakutia. A philosophical view of climate change in Yakutia emphasizes not only technical aspects of the changes, but also draws attention to the importance of socio-ecological aspects of this problem. Philosophical analysis allows us to consider the issue of climate change as a socio-ecological phenomenon that requires an integrated approach including ecological consciousness, deep understanding and adoption of appropriate social decisions as climate change causes changes in the mentality and culture of the local population. Rising temperatures, drought, flood, forest fires and other climate changes create new challenges for society and require comprehension at a philosophical level. The philosophical aspect of climate change in Yakutia provides an in-depth analysis of the problem that allows us to consider climate change as a complex socio-ecological phenomenon that requires an integrated approach that includes eco-philosophical aspects. It emphasizes the need to integrate climate aspects into social consciousness of the local population of the region and make it eco-philosophical one.

Object of philosophical analysis, money is one of the most controversial elements of culture. Money influences not only the economic life, but also the social life of a person. Philosophy had and continues to have a great contribution to the research of money in various aspects. The aim of the paper is to show the place and role of the philosophy, of the philosophy of money, in particular, for researching the essence of money.

The anthropological theme is updated during periods of paradigm instability, which is characteristic of the modern period of history. The purpose of the article is to consider the worldview as an indicator of personality development, which involves solving problems of defining concepts: personality, the structure of the worldview and the factors of its formation. Research methods are philosophical and general logical. Research results. Worldview, as the highest stage of human development, is characterized by consistency and theoretical justification. Among the factors that create a personality, the person himself is decisive, making himself the object of critical analysis, becoming a formative subject, which indicates his spiritual (personal) maturity.

The issues of the relationship between the sexes have always worried mankind, but their relevance increases at crucial moments in history. The October Revolution of 1917 radically changed Russian society, changes affected all spheres of society, including personal relationships, the position of women and men has changed. The study analyzes gender relations in utopian projects of post-revolutionary Russia, during the construction of a new society. The purpose of this study is to analyze significant, from our point of view, utopian projects of this period. Philosophical and methodological analysis, a phenomenological approach, as well as a descriptive method were used to study the problem. The analysis of the problem revealed the main trends in utopian projects of the post-revolutionary period on the problem of gender, identified a variety of approaches to its solution and identified two main directions: the first direction is represented by the Marxist concept with its variations, the second direction followed the path of liberation of women and men, providing them with full equality and the realization of all opportunities.

From positions, attained by modern theoretical physics in understanding of the universe bases, the methodological and philosophical analysis of fundamental physical concepts and their formal and informal connections with the real economic measuring is carried out. Procedures for heterogeneous economic time determination, normalized economic coordinates and economic mass are offered, based on the analysis of time series, the concept of economic Plank's constant has been proposed. The theory has been approved on the real economic dynamic's time series, related to the cryptocurrencies market, the achieved results are open for discussion. Then, combined the empirical cross-correlation matrix with the random matrix theory, we mainly examine the statistical properties of cross-correlation coefficient, the evolution of average correlation coefficient, the distribution of eigenvalues and corresponding eigenvectors of the global cryptocurrency market using the daily returns of 15 cryptocurrencies price time series across the world from 2016 to 2018. The result indicated that the largest eigenvalue reflects a collective effect of the whole market, practically coincides with the dynamics of the mean value of the correlation coefficient and very sensitive to the crisis phenomena. It is shown that both the introduced economic mass and the largest eigenvalue of the matrix of correlations can serve as quantum indicator-predictors of crises in the market of cryptocurrencies.

This work deals with the new, relativistic direction in quantum econophysics, within the bounds of which a change of the classical paradigms in mathematical modelling of socio-economic system is oﬀered. Classical physics proceeds from the hypothesis that immediate values of all the physical quantities, characterizing system’s state, exist and can be accurately measured in principle. Non-relativistic quantum mechanics does not reject the existence of the immediate values of the classical physical quantities, nevertheless not each of them can be simultaneously measured (the uncertainty principle). Relativistic quantum mechanics rejects the existence of the immediate values of any physical quantity in principle, and consequently the notion of the system state, including the notion of the wave function, which becomes rigorously nondeﬁnable. The task of this work consists in econophysical analysis of the conceptual fundamentals and mathematical apparatus of the classical physics, relativity theory, non-relativistic and relativistic quantum mechanics, subject to the historical, psychological and philosophical aspects and modern state of the socio-economic modeling problem. We have shown that actually and, virtually, a long time ago, new paradigms of modeling were accepted in the quantum theory, within the bounds of which the notion of the physical quantity operator becomes the primary fundamental conception(operator is a mathematical image of the procedure, the action), description of the system dynamics becomes discrete and approximate in its essence, prediction of the future, even in the rough, is actually impossible when setting aside the aftereﬀect i.e. the memory. In consideration of the analysis conducted in the work we suggest new paradigms of the economical-mathematical modeling.

Aim. The purpose of the article is to analyse the relationship between the level of existential fulfillment, sense- of- life and value orientations of students majoring in “Journalism”. The results of the study will contribute to the psychological preparation of students majoring in journalism for future professional activities. The article is based on the analysis of the relationship between the level of existential fulfillment, sense-of -life and value orientations of students majoring in “Journalism”. The article reveals the content and significance of existential fulfillment, sense-of-life and value orientations in the preparation of students majoring in “Journalism” for future professional activities. Methods. Theoretical (analysis of the problem on the basis of psychological and philosophical literature); empirical (fact-finding experiment, testing, survey); methods of mathematical statistics (correlation, cluster, comparative analyses). The following research methods were used: The Existence Scale (A. Lengle, K. Orgler); methodology “The Sense-of-Life Orientations” (SLO) (D. Leontief); methodology “The Diagnostics of Personality Orientation” (B. Bass); methodology “Value Orientations” (M. Rokych). Mathematical data processing and graphical presentation of the results were carried out using the computer package of statistical programs Statistica8.0. Results. The training of students majoring in “Journalism” in higher education institutions in the context of war requires the creation of basic psychological and ethical training for future journalism professionals. The results of the study of students’ sense of life and value orientations, their level of existential fulfillment will contribute to the practical content of the course of journalistic ethics, psychology for journalists, etc. Conclusion. The level of existential fulfillment of students and their system of values plays an important role in preparing them for their future professional activities. A high level of existential fulfillment of students contributes to their greater involvement in professional training, motivation to study, and the formation of their professional identity. Cognitive value. The article deals with the role of existential fulfillment of the individual and its importance in the formation of the emotional and value sphere of activity, motivation to realise personal potential and life in general. The role of existential fulfillment and value orientations in the professional development of students majoring in “Journalism” is revealed. Resumo:

Consideration of aspects of the functioning of mass media in society requires a comprehensive approach based on universal media theory. The article presents an attempt to consider public events in terms of a functional approach to understanding the media, proposed by media theorist Dennis McQuayl in the theory of mass communication. Public events are analyzed, on the one hand, as a complex object of journalistic reflection and, on the other hand, as a situational media that examines the relationship of agents of the social and media fields in the space of communication interaction. Taking into account philosophical approaches to the interpretation of the concept of event, considering its semantic spectrum, specificity of use and synonyms in the Ukrainian language, a working definition of the concept of public event is given. Based on case-analysis of public events, In accordance with the functions of the media the functions of public events are outlined. This is is promising for the development of study on typology of public events in the context of mass communication theory. The realization of the functions of public events as situational media is illustrated with such vivid examples of cultural events as «Gogolfest» and «Book Forum in Lviv». The author shows that a functional approach to understanding public events in society and their place in the space of mass communication, opens prospects for studying the role of media in reflecting the phenomena of social reality, clarifying the presence and quality of communication between media producers and media consumers.

The article updates the activities of regional broadcasters in the information space of the Luhansk region, where numerous enemy information attacks preceded the invasion of the Russian occupation forces. Main objective of the study - mass media activities of the Luhansk region’s television companies in the pre-war and post-war periods and the specifics of the integration of the (pro) Russian agenda into the region’s information space. The study was done out using a descriptive, classification, comparative-historical method, which made it possible to consider the regional telespace in the context of historical transformations and highlight stages in development, identify system-forming factors, which made it possible to move from the consideration of certain elements to the analysis of the system. Conclusions. The mass communication activities of the Luhansk region’s television companies in different historical periods have shown their ability to maintain the regional media field, the diversity and variety of content. However, the media sphere was not devoid of Soviet party ideology (1958-1991), with its subsequent post-Soviet modification and political layering (1991-2004) of anti-Ukrainian forces; with the saturation (2004-2014) of the information space with non-Ukrainian information flows and the promotion of symbols, worldview and philosophical concepts of the updated Soviet ideology – the «Russkiy mir» and its further functioning (2014-2022) in the conditions of real military operations in the East of Ukraine. Significance. During the ongoing war, Ukraine’s experience can be used in research on Russian information interference, inciting enmity, hatred between peoples, promoting narratives in the Ukrainian and international information space, verifying the criteria for distinguishing between information destructive to democracy and a valid expression of freedom of speech, and creating an international platform for exchange information about threats, misinformation, narratives and their rapid leveling.
