This paper is a critical notice of a recent significant contribution to the debate about fitting attitudes and value, namely Toni Rønnow-Rasmussen’s Personal Value (Oxford: Oxford University Press, 2011). In this book, Rønnow-Rasmussen seeks to analyse the notion of personal value—an instance of the notion of good for a person—in terms of fitting attitudes. The paper has three main themes: (i) Rønnow-Rasmussen’s discussion of general problems for fitting attitude analyses; (ii) his formulation of the fitting attitude analysis of personal value and the notion of ‘for someone’s sake (fss) attitudes’; and (iii) his critique of the dichotomy between agent-neutral and agent-relative reasons.

Improving communication and engagement with the public is vital for implementing sustainable development goals (SDGs). Public attitude toward SDGs can influence this engagement, as people are more likely to accept SDG-relevant information and take actions that are consistent with their own attitudes. This study examines the determinants for individual attitudes in supporting SDGs and further explores the formation of public attitudes toward SDGs, i.e., how public attitude is shaped by the value orientations and norms of the individuals. Using an online survey (n = 3089), we uncovered several important findings: (1) individuals’ altruistic/biospheric value orientations are positively associated with pro-SDG attitudes; (2) personal norms mediate the relationship of individuals’ altruistic values and attitudes; (3) some demographic characteristics (i.e., age, gender, having children) moderate the relationship of people’s value orientations and attitudes; and (4) people’s biospheric values have heterogeneous effects on their pro-SDG attitudes based on education and income. Through these findings, this study enhanced the public’s general understanding of SDGs by providing a holistic analytical framework of public attitude formation on SDGs and uncovering the significant role of value orientations. We further identify the moderating effects of demographic characteristics and the mediating effects of personal norms in the relationship between individuals’ values and attitude on SDGs.

Perinatal bereavement care encompasses holistic support and services offered by healthcare professionals, addressing physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual needs of bereaved parents which are most often ignored in clinical settings. This hospital-based descriptive study aimed to assess knowledge, attitudes, and associated factors regarding perinatal bereavement care among nursing personnel in a tertiary care hospital in central India. A total of 207 nursing personnel selected through non-probability convenient sampling participated in the study. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire with a 5-point Likert scale and dichotomous scale. The study revealed that 78.3 percent of nursing personnel possessed average knowledge, while 73.4 percent exhibited a positive attitude towards perinatal bereavement care. Several influencing factors were identified, including personal perinatal grieving experiences, a history of other grieving experiences, existing hospital policies, regular training and Continuing Nursing Education, as well as traditional beliefs and values. Further, a positive correlation between the knowledge and attitude of nursing personnel regarding perinatal bereavement care came to light. Significant associations were observed between knowledge scores, attitudes, and demographic variables such as age, total work experience, years of experience in maternity wards, personal loss experiences, and past experience in handling grieving parents among nursing personnel. The study underscores the importance of perinatal bereavement care in providing support to grieving parents and emphasises the need for nursing personnel to possess both knowledge and a compassionate attitude in this regard. The study recommends the establishment of Standard Operating Procedures for Perinatal Bereavement Care within the hospital and the implementation of regular Continuing Nursing Education and training programmes to create a supportive environment.

This research finds evidence for reliable individual differences in people’s perceived attitude stability that predict the actual stability of their attitudes over time. Study 1 examines the reliability and factor structure of an 11-item Personal Attitude Stability Scale (PASS). Study 2 establishes test–retest reliability for the PASS over a 5-week period. Studies 3a and 3b demonstrate the convergent and discriminant validity of the PASS in relation to relevant existing individual differences. Studies 4 and 5 show that the PASS predicts attitude stability following a delay period across several distinct topics. Across multiple attitude objects, for people with high (vs. low) scores on the PASS, Time 1 attitudes were more predictive of their Time 2 attitudes, indicative of greater attitudinal consistency over time. The final study also demonstrates that the PASS predicts attitude stability above and beyond other related scales.

The aim of this study was to investigate the human-animal relationship on dairy goat farms, in particular associations between stockpeople's attitudes towards goats ( Capra hircus) and actual behaviour when handling goats and making decisions. Data were collected on 45 Austrian and German dairy goat farms. Attitude questionnaires of 119 stockpeople (58 female, 61 male) were analysed and 14 attitude components were extracted by five Principal Component Analyses (PCA) regarding general attitudes about goats and human-animal relationship, behavioural attitudes about specific human-goat interactions and interactions during milking, and affective attitudes. To investigate associations between stockpeople's attitudes and their subsequent behaviour, we calculated linear and logistic regression analysis on their behaviour during milking (n = 53 milkers) and on management decisions (n = 45 farms). Several attitude components were predictors of behaviour during milking. The attitude ' Needs of goats ' was included in all models: the higher stockpeople scored on ' Needs of goats ', the more positive interactions they showed and the less likely they were to use negative interactions. Gender influenced five attitude components: females showing greater agreement than males on positive general and affective attitudes, eg ' Needs of goats .' Regarding management, the more strongly decision-makers disagreed on using negative interactions during milking, the better was their farm's housing and management. To conclude, these results highlight the importance of the stockpeople's attitudes, not only for the interactions with their animals, but also for their decisions related to management and housing. Our results indicate opportunities for improvement of animal welfare by training specifically targeting stockpeople's attitudes.

This study examines the predictive effect of parental attitudes on high school students’ academic motivation and personal responsibility levels. In this research predictive correlation model, which is one of the quantitative research methods, was used. 368 students attending the 10th grade in 6 different high schools participated in the study. Parental Attitudes Scale, Academic Motivation Scale and Personal Responsibility Scale were used as data collection tools. Independent samples t-test and MANOVA were performed to determine gender effect on parental attitudes, academic motivation and personal responsibility and Pearson Correlation and Multiple Linear Regression were performed to determine the relationship between parental attitudes, academic motivation and personal responsibility. According to the results, parental attitudes are a significant predictor of personal responsibility and academic motivation of high school students. Democratic parental attitude predicts personal responsibility levels by 31.2% and academic motivation level by 25.7%. In this context, it can be said that the support of parents with democratic attitude provides a positive contribution to students’ academic success, social and personal competencies.

Regardless of the integration of technology into English learning at school brings an abundance of advantages, there are still very few teachers who have been implementing technology. iPad as a learning medium in English language learning has been widely applied in many countries. However, the use of iPad for English language learning in Banda Aceh is still considered uncommon. Descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach was carried to find out an English teacher’s attitude towards the integration of iPad in English teaching-learning class in Al-Azhar Cairo Islamic Junior High School in Banda Aceh. An observation sheet and guided interview were used to gather the data. The data analysis was processed in the form of condensation data, display data, and conclusion data which are proposed by Miles, Huberman, and Saldana (2014). The findings show that the English teacher delivered 91 utterances consisted of 34 affective attitudes, 28 conative attitudes, 16 evaluative attitudes, and 13 cognitive attitudes. The highest frequency attitude showed by the teacher is the affective attitude meanwhile the lowest is the cognitive attitude.

The aim of the article is to show how cognitive attitudes are formed among military academy cadets through didactic intellectual-cognitive games. The authors highlight the importance and necessity of enhancing and developing the mindset towards the values of cognitive activities in cadets within the pedagogical process as a crucial element in preparing them for future military-professional activities. The research is novel in that it is the first to demonstrate that the formed cognitive attitudes serve as the basis for the successful professional and personal development of military personnel, leading to achieving a high level of professionalism and competence. As a result, the study identifies the criteria and levels of cognitive attitudes formation among cadets; clarifies the notion of a cognitive attitude, outlines the factors influencing the formation of cognitive attitudes, reveals the advantages of using interactive teaching methods in the architectonics of modern educational space, and highlights the didactic potential of intellectual-cognitive games in shaping cognitive attitudes among cadets.

Purpose This paper presents an initial development of a personal data attitude (PDA) measurement instrument based on established psychometric principles. The aim of the research was to develop a reliable measurement scale for quantifying and comparing attitudes towards personal data that can be incorporated into cybersecurity behavioural research models. Such a scale has become necessary for understanding individuals’ attitudes towards specific sets of data, as more technologies are being designed to harvest, collate, share and analyse personal data. Design/methodology/approach An initial set of 34 five-point Likert-style items were developed with eight subscales and administered to participants online. The data collected were subjected to exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses and MANOVA. The results are consistent with the multidimensionality of attitude theories and suggest that the adopted methodology for the study is appropriate for future research with a more representative sample. Findings Factor analysis of 247 responses identified six constructs of individuals’ attitude towards personal data: protective behaviour, privacy concerns, cost-benefit, awareness, responsibility and security. This paper illustrates how the PDA scale can be a useful guide for information security research and design by briefly discussing the factor structure of the PDA and related results. Originality/value This study addresses a genuine gap in research by taking the first step towards establishing empirical evidence for dimensions underlying personal data attitudes. It also adds a significant benchmark to a growing body of literature on understanding and modelling computer users’ security behaviours.

High levels of personal car use have negative effects on the environment and on human health. This thesis presents four empirical studies that aimed to develop our knowledge of personal travel choices, focussing on the malleability of attitudes and their sensitivity in relation to specific contexts and goals. The first study (Chapter 2) presents a systematic review and meta-analysis of mechanisms of travel mode choice. The study provides a comprehensive overview of antecedents of car use and non-car use, including sub-group analyses of different contextual factors. Results also highlight the need for standardised measures and consideration of implicit thought processes. The second study (Chapter 3) employs a repertory grid technique to elicit perceptions of seven different transport modes from high mileage car users and non-car users. Comparisons between car users and non-car users highlight potentially effective and ineffective intervention targets. Findings show how sustainable transport might be promoted amongst a portfolio of travel choices. The third study (Chapter 4) utilises qualitative methods to explore the extent to which individuals’ attitude expressions are changeable. The study demonstrates that all participants hold ambivalent and conflicting attitudes, highlighting specific situations in which those attitudes are more likely to be unstable. Two related priming experiments are presented in the final empirical chapter (Chapter 5). Both use survey methodology to investigate whether manipulating the salience of car-use-incongruent goals can lead to more positive attitudes towards and increased willingness to use non-car travel modes. The study confirms that people who are motivated to make changes are a potentially optimal target group for interventions based on subliminal messages. Overall, the research presented in this thesis introduces context sensitivity into the transport literature and offers novel insights into perceptions of a range of travel modes. Recommendations include relevant avenues for future research, findings are discussed in light of implications for transport policy and practice.

Various reports from major scientific organisations emphasise the negative consequences of climate change for society and the planet (IPCC, 2019, 2022). They also point to the need for major social change to deal with this issue. A great deal of work in social psychology therefore focuses on individual's motivation to participate in social change, and act pro-environmentally. This research often focuses on two variables: personal attitudes and perceived social norms (Ajzen, 1991; Klöckner, 2013). When studying these two factors, researchers have, for the most part, looked at their principal effects on pro-environmental behaviour. Recent studies show, however, that these two factors can also interact. Some of these studies show that the targeted behaviour appears most often when attitudes and social norms are congruent, and are both in favour of the behaviour (Acock & Defleur, 1972; Fife-Shaw et al., 2007). Conversely, others have shown that perceiving a mismatch between favourable attitudes, and perceived social norms that are less pro-environmental, can also motivate action (Deffuant et al., 2022; Khamzina et al., 2021, 2023). In this thesis, we seek to explain the effect of this mismatch on pro-environmental behaviour. Based on the theories of constructive deviance (Packer, 2008; Packer & Chasteen, 2010) and active minorities (Moscovici et al., 1969; Moscovici & Lage, 1976), we hypothesize that this mismatch effect on pro-environmental behaviour can be explained by individuals' willingness to change social norms. Six studies were conducted to gain a better understanding of this mismatch effect, and to see whether its direct positive effect is mediated by individuals' willingness to change group norms. The results tend to show, firstly, that there is no direct relationship between this mismatch perception and pro-environmental intentions or behaviour. Secondly, even if the results are mixed, they suggest that its indirect effect via the willingness to change norms could play a greater role in motivating pro-environmental behaviour. These results are discussed and compared with other studies to better understand the place of the mismatch perception in the scientific literature on behaviour change. This comparison gives a better understanding of the results and provides an answer as to the theoretical and applied usefulness of the model

Resumo:
Adolescent parenting research has typically focused on the mother and ignored the father . Researchers have suggested that adolescent fathers are disregarded as the child's other parent because their parenting role is devalued. An emerging body of literature indicates that adolescent fathers are excluded from the pregnancy and parenting services provided to adolescent mothers because they are viewed as unnecessary to the parenting process and unimportant to the child's development. Moreover, researchers have alleged that service providers treat adolescent fathers as outcasts based on stereotypical beliefs that they are uncaring, irresponsible victimizers who disappear at the first mention of pregnancy. However, there is no empirical evidence to support these claims. The purpose of this thesis is to question these allegations and provide some evidence to either support or refute them. A survey of northern Utah agencies and the personnel who provide pregnancy and parenting services to adolescent mothers was conducted as the means to investigate this issue. The results of the survey do not provide conclusive evidence although they do suggest that the participating agencies and their personnel do not have policies or attitudes that intentionally exclude adolescent fathers from receiving services. Those surveyed consider fathers to be important to the pregnancy experience and the child's development. However , they do not make a deliberate effort to encourage adolescent fathers to take advantage of their services, nor do they employ effective strategies for making adolescent males aware of their services.

Today many selling organizations are reexamining and revising their philosophy for managing salespeople because of increase costs of hiring and maintaining a sales force. More than everm management is looking for ways to assist salespeople in becoming more productive and effective faster. One avenue for enhancing salespersons' performance is through improved sales training practices. improved sales training practices should help salespeople view training, and how sales training transcends to the job environment. Considering the need for greater understanding concerning salespeople's perceptions of sales training and assuming the influence of those perceptions on job performance and other outcomes, this study develops and executes an analysis of several proposed relationships among personal characteristics, job related characteristics, perceived training needs, sales training variables, and related outcomes. The program of research identifies and evaluates salespeople's attitudes toward sales training and specifies influences of those training perceptions on salesperson' behaviors and general attitudes. As well, a relationship between salespeople's transfer of training materials, their use, and individual performance are evaluated.

Garossino, Candance Jo. "Nurses' attitudes towards the care of the dying". Thesis, University of British Columbia, 1991. http://hdl.handle.net/2429/29709.

Texto completo da fonte
Resumo:
Terminally ill patients and their families describe hospital care as nonsupportive to their needs during the final phase of life. Nurses generally are not comfortable with a supportive role when caring for the dying and tend to adhere to a curative role. The purpose of this descriptive, correlational study therefore was to describe the attitudes of general staff nurses working on medical-surgical units in hospitals towards the care of the dying and to ascertain the relationship between these attitudes and the education and experience of the nurses. An adaptation of the model for role episode, conflict, and ambiguity by Kahn, Wolfe, Quinn, Snoek and Rosenthal (1964) was the applied theoretical framework. The sample consisted of 197 randomly selected registered nurses employed full or part-time on general adult medical-surgical hospital units in British Columbia. The majority of the sample were married, Protestant females, between the ages of 26 and 45 years who were prepared at the diploma level in nursing. The mean length of time worked as a nurse was 8.5 years with a mean of 7.5 years on medical-surgical units. Attitudes towards the care of the dying were generally ambiguous, neither negative nor positive as measured by scores obtained on the ‘Questionnaire for Understanding the Dying Person and His Family’. Additionally, half the respondents did not believe that nurses should be the primary health care professionals equipped to deal with the emotional reactions of the dying yet three-quarters of the sample believed that patients turned to nurses to discuss such emotional issues. Data revealed that close to two-thirds of the respondents had received structured death and dying content in their basic nursing education yet less than half furthered their death and dying education since graduation. Overall death education for the sample was low. A small positive correlation (r=-0.26) was found between respondents' death education and their attitudes towards the care of the dying; no significant association was found between respondents' level of general nursing education and their attitudes. Although there was variability in the amount of professional and personal death experience, over half of the respondents experienced between one and three terminally ill patient deaths on their medical-surgical units per month. Additionally, the majority of respondents had experienced the death of an immediate family member. Overall death experience was low to moderate. A small, but significant positive correlation (r=0.24) was found between overall death experience and attitudes' towards the care of the dying; no significant association was found between general experience and attitude. Findings suggest that supportive nursing care is not being demonstrated with dying patients and their families. However, the influencing natures of death education and death experience on nurses' attitudes are positive, thereby providing the nursing profession with two possible ways of positively influencing nurses' attitudes to the care of the dying.

The influence of cognitive organization, dysfunctional attitudes, and depressive "subtype" on the perceptions of negative life events is explored. BDI scores are used to delineate symptomatic and non-symptomatic groups. Construct content (sociotropic versus autonomous, as first defined by Beck) is used to identify predominant schema-type. Subjects completed a Problematic Situations Questionnaire with Dysfunctional Attitudes Scale. Results indicate that depressed individuals display more dysfunctional attitudes and negative affect in all types of negative situations; further the endorsement of dysfunctional attitudes is significantly more likely to occur in the context of schema-congruent situations. Findings are discussed a) in terms of the utility of personal constructs in the assessment of schema-type and b) in accordance with a person-event interactional model of depression.

The article analyzes M. Csikszentmihalyi’s theory of an optimal experience and its links with the system of personal attitudes as a component of personal growth and life quality improvement. The factors and conditions are examined that support formation of the autotelic personality, who “independently determines the goals and reflects the idea that most of such person’s goals are intrinsic”. A person, having learned to set goals, developing own skills, attentive to results of their actions, focusing and fully dedicating to a process or an activity, is able to achieve an optimal experience, a flow state in any area of relations with the world, other people, themselves, or in any activity. Key words: personality, attitude, system of attitudes, optimal experience, flow.

Sri Lanka’s Mental Diseases Ordinance (1873) gives discretion to police officers to make decisions concerning individuals who live with mental health conditions despite lack of clinical training. Identification of officers’ attitudes towards individuals with psychological problems (IPPs) is important as these influences officers’ responses to situations involving IPPs. Using the Mental Health Attitude Survey for Police (MHASP; Clayfield, 2011), the study aimed to identify police officers’ attitudes towards IPPs, on the community responsibility towards IPPs and on IPPs living in the community. Officers’ perceived level of adequacy to deal with IPPs was also assessed. Literature indicates that factors such as age, gender, level of education, years of experience, personal experience with an IPP and past training predicted officers’ attitude, the current study investigated the same. The survey was distributed amongst 77 officers who volunteered on site. MHASP includes 33 statements of officers rated their level of agreement using a Likert scale. MHASP Total an overall attitude score (M=132.67, SD=17.55) indicated a significant positive attitude towards IPPs despite an absence of a specialized training (84%) or any personal experience, officers felt confident to deal with IPPs. Multiple regression analysis identified gender of the officers to be the only predictor for attitude towards community responsibility towards IPPs (p=0.047). Despite the positive attitude and perceived adequate preparedness reported in the current study, considering the lack of experience stated by the officers and the analysis of individual items of the survey, several stigmatizing beliefs held by officers were identified. The findings can be used to enhance the current practices and specialized training to the police officers who deal with IPPs in Sri Lanka. The host majority has an important impact on how immigrants adapt to their new land. The focus of the present chapter1 is to understand attitudes of Portuguese young people towards immigration. To achieve this aim, a pilot study was conducted with the ISATIS (International Study of Attitudes Towards Immigration and Settlement) instrument. The sample consisted of 477 Portuguese youngsters attending courses in high school, interviewed in 1999 and in 2006. All participants were of Portuguese origin and 94% were born in Portugal. Their age ranged between 16 and 20 years. An examination of acculturation expectations towards immigration showed that Integration is the option most preferred, while Exclusion is the least preferred. In-between preferences are Segregation and Assimilation. Globally, there was a positive social climate towards immigration and immigrants. However, from 1999 to 2006 those positive attitudes were less strong. Girls revealed more positive attitudes towards immigration and immigrants than boys. Regarding attitudes towards diversity, tolerance is clearly the strongest link. With respect to security, economic security and personal security are the weakest links. The indicators of immigration climate (perceived personal, economic and cultural consequences of diversity and immigration, the tendency to advocate prohibition of immigration and attitude toward 17 ethnocultural groups) are reasonably strong. Immigration climate is more strongly linked to diversity attitudes as compared with security.

"One of the major concerns among the relevant public authorities during the 2019 coronavirus disease (Covid-19) pandemic is the attitude and behavior of the Malaysian society regarding compliance with self-care Covid-19. Although the number of Covid-19 cases is decreasing, public authorities, such as the Malaysian Ministry of Health continually remind people to adhere to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Covid-19 to reduce the number of cases. To support the authorities’ efforts, a one-day self-care Covid-19 programme involving 10 youths (3 males & 7 females) with a mean age of 17.35 (SD=3.36) was implemented in Bongol village, Tamparuli. To adhere the Covid-19 SOP regulation which prohibits a large number of people from gathering in a confined, crowded and closed spaces, only a few participants were involved. The programme, which was conducted at the Bongol village community hall, involved various organized activities emphasising the three elements of attitude: cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. Before the programme began, all the participants were registered, and their body temperatures scanned to ensure that they were free from any Covid-19 symptoms. Each participant was given a mask and a small bottle of hand sanitiser that could be used throughout the programme. The activities comprised an ice-breaker, a talk on personal self-hygiene, a 20.02-minute self-care video produced by 28 psychology students, personal self-reflections by the participants, a group exercise, a community song, and a two-way discussion on self-care. The Covid-19 self-care programme, implemented with guidance from the Yale Attitude Change Model, emphasizes the practical issue of ‘who says what to whom and with what effects. The participants’ attitude was measured before and after they completed the one-day programme. The results of a Wilcoxon signed-ranked test study showed that there is a significant difference between the participants’ pre- and post-study attitudes towards self-care. The study results showed that the Covid-19 self-care programme, which is based on the social psychology approach, can help foster positive youth attitudes towards self-care. In regard to the authorities’ efforts to lower the number of Covid-19 cases to zero, it is suggested that each party needs (either governmental and non-governmental agencies) to support the Covid-19 campaign and programme by sharing and delivering self-care messages in creative ways to Malaysian communities, especially those in rural areas."

This article addressed the importance of extracurricular activities in the formation of learning attitudes in primary school students. The psycho-pedagogical conditions for the formation of learning attitudes within extracurricular activities were highlighted: the general conditions - positive psychological climate, focusing on fundamental psychological and pedagogical approaches; didactic conditions - the pedagogical model of student learning, the students’ learning strategies; the specific conditions of individualization and differentiation - the design of psychological activities oriented towards the individual characteristics of the student, the connection of specific activities with general and educational ones. Compliance with these conditions facilitates the acquisition of learning attitudes by interacting with the group of students who have a positive attitude towards learning, by capitalizing on social experience, by cognitive development. The need to implement the dimensions of learning was argued: the sociocultural dimension that reflects the need for optimal social functioning ensured through the prism of several needs; the behavioral dimension that emphasizes the dynamic, regulatory aspect, directs the students’ behavior, generates self-affirmation impulses, which are oriented towards obtaining a high school performance; the cognitive dimension that illustrates the individual’s need to exchange information with the environment and his need to understand himself. Extracurricular activities offer opportunities for the formation and development of learning attitudes in relation to certain objectives that inspire and challenge the learner, both for his educational success and for his success in everyday life. These have an important value both for the social and personal development of the learner, through specific and particular approaches.

One of the most important components of workforce planning in Human Resources Management (HRM) is ensuring that employees have the right skills and competences to do their jobs. The expansion of low-cost and traditional carriers has enhanced the reach, breadth, and frequency of traditional passenger-carrying services. Due to the growing need for highly trained professionals in Intelligence Human Systems, airline recruiters are under pressure to find new ways to attract and communicate with potential candidates. This study intends to include CBTA into aviation personnel planning, training, and management of the Intelligence Human Systems Integration - transformation. Research objectives include a theoretical study of the CBTA framework, an examination of human resources planning, training, and operations, identification of aviation Subject Matter Experts performance gaps, and a recommendation for adopting the CBTA framework in aviation human resources framework and Intelligence Human Systems Integration. When building the worldwide CBTA framework for the aviation industry, the authors studied the governing variables and trends in the industry, suggesting a global strategy to managing HSI-change.The pandemic's effects were addressed when implementing CBTA. According to a recent research, aviation programs should stimulate learning beyond the ab initio basic knowledge requirements, give chances for ongoing education, and stress quality over quantity (e.g., developing pilot hours, integrating new technology) (AI). Organizational culture, opposition to technological progress, and employment laws affect demand. In the following study, a synthesis of the Lean Six Sigma (L6) strategy and CBTA framework is offered as an alternative to the prevailing method in many countries, which inhibits change management and increases organizational pressure. Implementing verified CBTA – EBT / psychological applications during installation and change management can help airlines become an employer of choice in the sector and speed up intelligence human systems integration."Competency" is a human performance attribute used in aviation to predict job success. When a person engages in behaviors that draw on the proper knowledge, abilities, and attitudes to complete activities or tasks within set parameters, they demonstrate and demonstrate a competency. Research follows ICAO's description of knowledge, abilities, and attitude (ICAO, 2022):• "Knowledge is particular information needed to acquire and apply skills and attitudes needed to recall facts, recognize concepts, apply rules or principles, solve issues, and think creatively at work,"• "Knowledge is particular information needed to acquire and apply skills and attitudes to recall facts, recognize concepts, and apply rules or principles (ICAO, 2022)." Attitude is a learned mental state or disposition that determines a person's conduct toward any item, person, or event. Positive or negative attitudes can evolve. Attitudes are affective, cognitive, and behavioral. Aviation SME must "know how to be" in each circumstance to have the "right" attitude.Purdue's professional flying program acknowledged both technical and nontechnical competencies based on IATA requirements. Furthermore, Purdue research employed qualitative and quantitative methods to confirm the idea that combining Competency-Based Training Assessment with a structured recruitment and selection plan increases organizational performance. The chosen inductive research method focuses on reducing delays in pilot hiring and training by incorporating personnel capabilities that reduce performance differences. The study also examines how Lean Six Sigma personnel planning and training effect airline operating expenses. Removing superfluous processes from the recruitment process can help airlines save money and time on recruitment and employee training. Purdue Research roadmap focuses on AI certification (FAA, EASA), AI training following a change management approach, and AI standards in the worldwide AI aviation ecosystem. In conclusion, the outcomes of this study project indicate that the firm must rethink its organizational culture, adopt an integrated CBTA approach, and use the proposed Lean Six Sigma Recruitment process.

Research methods - philosophical and general logical.”New experience” in the field of biotechnology, as a stimulating discussion of anthropological, axiological and social problems, must be guided by the strategy of personal preservation and the methodology of human integrity and have value-worldview attitudes as real prerequisites. In the new ethics, the fundamental principles of two historically established systems - individualism and conciliarism (collectivism) are considered in the form of complement, not contradictory. We are only talking about their ratio and the degree of demand. At the same time, the state and society, and not “personal law”, are of decisive importance.

Though governments regularly implement fiscal adjustments to avert crisis, voter attitudes toward competing adjustment strategies are still poorly understood. A conjoint experiment with 8,000 survey respondents in Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, and Peru confirms that individuals prefer spending- to tax-based adjustments in general. However, preferences change dramatically depending on which specific tax and spending adjustments are included and on individuals' personal characteristics. Consistent with their broad preferences for spending- over tax-based adjustments, respondents oppose increases in the personal income tax and support public employment cuts. However, they support or are indifferent towards higher corporate income or value-added taxes and they oppose cuts in social assistance. Preferences for fiscal adjustment also depend on voter characteristics that are unrelated to their pecuniary interests. Ideology, social beliefs, and trust in government significantly influence their preferences for tax- or spending-based adjustments in general and for the specific composition of those adjustments.

The article analyzes the branding process in the context of the development of individual units of journalism. After all, in the current conditions of competition in the Ukrainian information space, it is important to apply and master new technologies for the development and promotion of media resources in the media market. The history of branding is presented and it is noted that branding is the key to the success of each media brand in using the necessary tools and technologies, which involves the branding process. It is necessary to know and understand not only the basic laws of branding, but also its possibilities as the main tool of Internet marketing and offline or digital marketing. It is emphasized that the personal brand should be considered as a tool that builds a reputation and a positive image in the information space, as well as allows you to get a variety of resources only using professional skills and knowledge. It is important not only to form your own audience, but also to meet its needs. The GORDON online publication is analyzed, because this media resource is a consequence of the influence of personal brand on the audience and rapid development in the context of promoting a particular media resource, and the main ideologue and co-founder of this publication is an example of how personal brand can affect audiences. and promote the development of a specific business project. It is noted that the reputation of Dmitry Gordon and his odious figure became the basis for the success of this online publication, and attitudes toward him may be different and often ambiguous, but his person is known to everyone in the post-Soviet space. Modern information space needs scandalous and odious personalities, because they are able to arrange a show, give people emotions. The author points out that branding is an extremely promising technology not only in the context of promoting and promoting a particular media resource or personal brand, but also promotes the comprehensive development of journalists as public opinion experts and potential speakers at international conferences not only in journalism, but also internet marketing.
